Libros / Books: "Te lo dije" de Megan Maxwell.

Hola, chicas:

Hi girls,
Here I am again with a new book review.
'Te lo dije' (I told you so) is the second novel from this author that I've read.

Excerpt:

'If I were given a diamond for each disappointment in life, I would be a millionaire'. That's what Victoria, the main character in this story thought when she found her fiancé hooking up with her best friend the day before her wedding.

As if this were not bad enough, the advertising agency where she's working at, has issued an ultimatum to her. In two months, she has to travel to Scotland, reach a Count (who is the owner of a castle), and persuade him to sign an assignment contract of the castle to shoot a commercial for a watch brand there.
If she doesn't succeed in this, she will be fired and will lose her glamourous lifestyle.

During this trip, despot Victoria will radically change her ways, as she finds out what really matters in life.

I truly liked this novel. The end is predictible, obviously, but the author has been creative enough to keep us glued to the book.

On the negative side and just like in 'Los príncipes azules también destiñen' ('Fair princes don't always play fair'), whose review can be seen *here*, is the issue of punctuation and spelling mistakes.
As I read in another review of this book, it seems proofreading was done using some wacky word processing software.

I'll bring you another book review soon, but that one's got nothing to do with romantic fiction.
This is all for now.
See you!
