Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos otra vez para enseñaros lo que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Maquillaje mineral Sephora, tono #26 Peach: Me gusta mucho este maquillaje mineral en formato compacto, más práctico que los que vienen como polvo suelto. Lo utilizo tanto sólo, cuando sólo necesito dar a mi rostro un aspecto saludable o para sellar la CC Cream, usando menos cantidad. La esponjita que trae es bastante útil y tiene dos lados diferentes según cómo queramos que sea la aplicación, más o menos ligera.
Tenía comprado repuesto desde hace un montón de tiempo, pero como véis, he aprovechado bien el producto. He hecho algo más que tocar fondo.
Tiene un precio de 15,95€, aunque se puede conseguir un poco más barata si es en Rebajas. En la *web* está disponible en 8 tonos.

2 - Bálsamo desmaquillante Heimish: Retira bastante bien el maquillaje y es un buen primer producto para la doble limpieza. Cogemos una pequeña cantidad con la espátula, repartimos por el rostro con las manos, nos mojamos las manos un poco y volvemos a dar un pequeño masaje para que emulsione. Después la retiro con la "bayeta" desmaquillante que me regaló mi hermana. Con lo que no puedo es con el olor así como medicinal que tiene. Ahora mismo estoy usando el que me hizo mi hermana, ya que al no tener conservantes no quiero que se eche a perder. Y cuando se me termine, usaré el de ENature.

3 - Body Spray Lidl: Los trajeron a Lidl hace ya un par de meses, con unos cuatro aromas diferentes. No recuerdo el precio exacto, pero rondó los 2 euros.
De momento no repetiré, ya que aunque los de Body Fantasies que tienen en Alimerka  son más pequeños el olor permanece mucho más y las fragancias parecen más elaboradas.



4 - EdT CK One 200ml: Marian me lo regaló por mi cumpleaños hace ya un par de años. Lo compró en Fapex (ahora Notino). Es una fragancia unisex, que he usado más en verano o para ir a yoga o a zumba. El tarro es de cristal y tiene la peculiaridad de que se puede reutilizar, ya que el dosificador va a rosca.

5- Exfoliante corporal de melocotón, de The Body Shop. Otro exfoliante de TBS que me ha costado acabar. El olor es más soportable que el de la Chocomania, que me resultó nauseabundo por lo artificial. ¡Y eso que no me considero demasiado tiquis con el tema olores!
En fin, que no me ha parecido nada del otro jueves. De momento, me han gustado más los exfoliantes que he probado de Rituals que los de TBS. Menos mal que todos los he comprado siempre en rebajas.

Here we are again to show you what we've used up lately.

1 - Mineral foundation from Sephora. Shade #26 Peach: I really like this mineral foundation in a compact, a lot more convenient than those in a loose powder. I use it both on its own when I only need to look healthy or to set my CC Cream, with a lighter hand. The sponge is really practical, as it is double-sided and can give you a lighter or heavier coverage.
I'd bought another compact a long time ago, but as you see, I tried to really use this up. I've gone way beyond hitting pan on it.
This usually retails for €15.95, but you can get it a bit cheaper during their Sales.
It is available in 8 different shades, apparently.

2 - Heimish Cleansing Balm: It cleanses your face off any makeup quite well and is a good first product for your double cleansing routine. Get a dollop of product with the spatula, massage all over your face, then with wet hands massage once more until it turns whiteish. I remove it using the microfiber face cloth I got from my sister.
What really puts me off about this is the scent. It's a sort of Chinese herbal blend. I'm now using the one my sister shared with you on a recent DIY blog since that contains no preservatives. And when that's done with I'll switch to the ENature one. 

3 - Citrus Body Spray from Lidl: One of Lidl's latest releases a couple of months ago, available in 4 different scents, I believe. I don't recall how much this retailed at, but around €2. I won't repurchase for now. Although the Body Fantasies mists available at a local supermarket are much smaller, the scent lingers a lot more on my skin and it seems much more complex.

4 - CK One, 200 ml EdT: Marian gave it to me for my birthday a couple of years ago. She bought it at Fapex Beautyspin (now  Notino). It's a unisex fragrance that I used more in the summer month and for my yoga and Zumba lessons. The glass bottle is a bit unusual in the sense that it can be reused, as the spritz is screw-on. 



5- Peach body scrub from The Body Shop: Another TBS body polish I had a hard time using up. The scent at least is bearable, unlike the Chocomania one. God, that was nasty! So artificial! And it's not that I'm super picky when it comes to scents.
Anyway, this was nothing to write home about. So far, I prefer the Rituals body scrubs more than the TBS ones. It's just as well I got them all in their sales and not paid full price.

Productos terminados #60 - 'Finito' products #60.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para hablaros de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1. Crema facial de Abuelita Ceiba (Marian).
Como veis en la foto, no se ha terminado en realidad, pero había empezado a enranciarse (lo noté por el olor), así que la he tirado.
Traía 106 ml, que me parece una pasada para una crema facial que, como está hecha con productos naturales, tiene menos caducidad que las comerciales.
De momento no repetiré con ella por este motivo, pero de no ser por eso, es la mejor crema facial que he probado.



2. Peeling enzimático de algas marinas de Ziaja (Marian).
Este sí que se ha terminado del todo.
Con esa textura tan cremosa que tiene, no se nota si realmente hace peeling o no.
Lo que sí he notado es que después de aclararlo con agua, la piel se nota un poco grasienta al principio.
No me ha gustado gran cosa.

3. Lápiz de ojos automático de Flormar, en color negro (Marian).
Sin duda, ha sido un muy buen sustituto de mi adorado lápiz automático de P2.
Pigmenta muy bien y es muy cremoso. Va perfecto para la línea de agua.
No descarto repetir con él en el futuro, aunque ahora mismo estoy usando otro de otra marca, que también me está gustando mucho.



4. Exfoliante de coco, de The Body Shop (Marian).
Exfolia menos que otros que he probado. Lo que sí he notado al aplicarlo es como una sensación de calor. ¿Será por alguno de sus ingredientes?
No me ha gustado mucho, la verdad. Lo cierto es que los exfoliantes de TBS por lo general no nos han parecido gran cosa.

5. Mascarilla capilar Fructis, de Garnier (Marox).
Marian la ha probado también y le ha gustado bastante. Estos productos suelen cundir bastante y se tarda en terminarlos. Deja el pelo suave y brillante.

Here we are again to make a review of the stuff we've used up recently.

1. Face cream from Abuelita Ceiba (Marian).
It's not completely finished really, as you can see in the pic, but it had gone bad (it smelled rancid), so I threw it away.
It contained 106 ml, which I think it's too much for a face cream, considering the fact that it's made with natural products, so its expiry date is shorter than others you can buy.
I won't be repurchasing it for that reason.
Despite that fact, it's the best face cream I've ever tried.

2. Marine algae enzyme peeling from Ziaja (Marian).
This is completely finished.
It's so creamy that I'm not sure the peeling effect is that noticeable.
However, after rinsing with water, my skin felt a bit greasy at the beginning.
I didn't care for it much.



3. Automatic eye pencil from Flormar, in black (Marian).
Needless to say, it has been a very good replacement for my beloved automatic eye pencil from P2.
It's very creamy and its pigmentation is great. It's perfect for the waterline.
I could buy it again in the future, though now I'm using one from another brand, which I  also like very much.

4. Coconut body scrub, from The Body Shop (Marian).
The exfoliation it provides is not as effective as others I've tried.
What I did notice when using it was a warming effect on my skin. Will it be maybe due to any of the ingredients?
I don't like it much, really. The truth is none of us have been terribly impressed by TBS body scrubs.



5. Fructis Hair mask from Garnier (Marox).
Marian has also tried it and she likes it. These products take some time to use up as a little goes a long way. It leaves hair soft and shiny.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.


1- Spray corporal "Sheer Love" de Victoria's Secret (Marian).
Ya sabéis que me encantan este tipo de productos. Este me ha gustado mucho porque su olor perdura en la piel. Ahora mismo estoy usando uno de The Body Shop, pero seguramente repetiré con la marca, porque me encantan.



2- Exfoliante corporal de Giovanni (Marox). Podéis encontrar esta marca tanto en iHerb como en Vitacost.
Reconozco que me gustan más los exfoliantes en formato tarro, puesto que se aprovechan mucho más. Éste exfoliante está compuesto de azúcar, así que realiza una exfoliación más suave que los que contienen sal. Contiene ceniza volcánica y bayas de açai, con propiedades antioxidantes.
Es más barato que otros exfoliantes de la marca, aunque el de chocolate tiene bien merecida su fama.

3- Gel de calcio Basic (Marian).
Ha sido un producto habitual en mis manicuras, pero ya resulta difícil de aplicar y extender, así que aunque todavía quedaba producto, llegó el momento de jubilarlo.
Ahora estoy usando una base que tenía por ahí olvidada.



4- Serum antimanchas Sephora (Marian).
Con este producto mis manchas se han atenuado, pero tampoco esperéis milagros.
Como no fue muy caro, repetí con él.

5- Cabezal Dual-Clean Oral B (Marian).
Yo creo que ya hemos probado, si no todas, casi todas las variedades de cabezales Oral B compatibles con nuestros cepillos eléctricos (no todos los cabezales, aun siendo originales, valen para todos los modelos de Oral B).
Este, al tener dos partes, puede resultar un poco difícil de manejar, pero no descarto repetir con él.

Here we are again to show you the stuff we've used up recently.

1- 'Sheer Love' Body spray from Victoria's Secret (Marian).
You already know that I love this kind of products. I like this one very much because its scent really lasts on the skin. I'm currently using one from The Body Shop, but I'll surely go back to VS body mists in the future, because I love them.

2- Body scrub from Giovanni (Marox). This brand is available from both iHerb and Vitacost. 
I prefer scrubs that come in a tub, as you can use the entire thing up. This body polish is sugar-based, thus providing a less harsh scrub effect than salt-based products. It contains volcanic ash and açai berry, famous for its antioxidant properties.
It's cheaper than other Giovanni scrubs, but doesn't beat their highly acclaimed chocolate one.



3- Calcium gel from Basic (Marian).
It's been a staple item in my manis, but now it's become really difficult to apply, so it was time to say goodbye to this. I'm now using a base coat that I'd forgotten about.

4- Anti dark-spot serum from Sephora (Marian).
Since I began using this product, my dark spots are less noticeable, but don't expect a miracle. As it wasn't that expensive, I got another one.



5- Dual-clean brush head from Oral B (Marian).
I think we've already tried all the Oral B brush heads suitable for our electric toothbrushes (not all the original brush heads fit Oral B brushes).
This one, consisting of two parts, can be a bit difficult to handle, but I'll probably repurchase it.

Productos terminados #45 - 'Finito' products #45.

Comenzamos marzo y aquí venimos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Exfoliante corporal de arándano azul de TBS (Marox). Compré este exfoliante aprovechando unas rebajas que tuvieron. Lo había probado con anterioridad puesto que le cogí otro para Marian. Lo cierto es que anteriormente no me había parecido gran cosa, aunque como todo hay que pillarle el punto. Si tenemos la piel muy mojada, no notaremos apenas la acción exfoliante.




2- Máscara base de pestañas de Missha (Marian).
Contiene fibras, así que consigue el efecto de multiplicar las pestañas. Sólo hay que dejarla secar un poquito antes de aplicar la máscara de pestañas.
Me ha gustado bastante, así que no descarto repetir con esta misma o con otra de este tipo.

3- Manteca corporal de arándano azul de TBS (Marox). La he usado a la vez que el exfoliante. Tiene un olor muy agradable, aunque no es tan hidratante a mi juicio como la de almendra o moringa. Es de las que suelen rebajar bastante, así que merece la pena echarla al carrito.



4- Cabezal "Dual Clean" para el cepillo eléctrico Oral B (Marox). Ya sabéis que llevamos ya varios años utilizando este famoso cepillo eléctrico. Ya sabéis también que tenemos la suerte de hacernos con los recambios originales a muy buen precio en el mercadillo local. En la actualidad estoy usando uno igual pero compatible -de Buyincoins- del que ya os hablaré.

5- Perfume "Sph Green" de Saphir (Marox).

Este perfume equivale a 'Be Delicious' de DKNY, que me parece un olor fantástico, dulce y suave. Es de los que yo creo que gustan a todo el mundo. Coincide que por primera poseo el original -que no he estrenado aún puesto que tengo otras fragancias a medias-. Los perfumes de *Saphir* se encuentran en algunas cadenas de perfumerías (Perfumerías Avenida en Castilla y León, por ejemplo). El mío lo compré en una perfumería local, Hermosilla. Tiene un precio de unos 13€ y en esa tienda tienen también minitallas de 30 ml, que viene muy bien para llevar en el neceser.
Este me ha durado mucho puesto que trae 200ml. 

Y esto ha sido todo por el momento.

March is here already and here we are as well with a new review about the stuff we've used up recently.

1- Blueberry body scrub from TBS (Marox). I bought this scrub during the TBS sales a while ago. I'd already tried it as I'd bought another tub for Marian. The thing is that at the time I didn't like it an awful lot, but as with most things there are tricks that may improve your experience. If your skin is too damp you will barely notice any exfoliation.

2- Base mascara from Missha (Marian).
It contains fibres, so it gives the illusion of having more lashes. Just let it dry before applying your mascara.
I quite like it, so I'll probably repeat with this mascara (or another one of the same kind).

3- Blueberry body butter from TBS (Marox). I've used this at the same time as the scrub. The scent is nice, though this butter is not as moisturising as the almond or moringa ones. The upside is that this is regularly discounted, so grab the chance to add it to your shopping cart if you can.

4- 'Dual clean' brushhead from Oral B (Marox). You know that we've been brushing our teeth with this famous electric toothbrush for a couple of years now and that we're lucky enough to get our replacement -original- from the local flea market. At present I'm using a compatible one that looks exactly like this that I got from Buyincoins. I'll write about that one when the time comes.



5- 'Sph Green' parfum from Saphir (Marox). This perfume is a dupe for DKNY's Be Delicious, which I think is a great soft and sweet scent. It's one of those that are universally liked, at least imo. I now happen to own the original -unopened still, as I'm using others at the moment-. These are found in some Spanish drugstore chains, though as the *site* is available in English as well, you may want to take a look. 
Hermosilla, the local drugstore I got mine from offers both the travel-size version with 30ml and the standard 200ml which is the one pictured here, bought for about €13. The small bottle is great for your vanity case.

Compras varias acumuladas - Sundry haul.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

1- Recambios "cross action" para el cepillo eléctrico Oral B (Marox). Ya sabéis que estos recambios los compramos a muy buen precio en el mercadillo local. Como alternativa, en Buyincoins tienen unos compatibles más baratos aún que no tienen mala pinta. He pedido un paquete para probar, así si no conseguimos éstos tenemos un plan B.

 

2- Espuma de baño "Happy Buddha" de Rituals (Marox). Vino de regalo con la revista InStyle. Me costó bastante hacerme con ella, puesto que no tenían la revista con el regalo en muchos kioskos y en los pocos que la tenían, sólo tenían la de arroz que ya había probado. Me quedé con ganas de probar la espuma de edición limitada que era la tercera opción, pero como coincide que también tengo la minitalla de la crema corporal y el exfoliante de la misma gama que vino con otra revista, así puedo probar la línea en profundidad.

3- Pasta de dientes Kemphor, en tamaño viaje (Marox). También vino de regalo con la revista InStyle. Tiene buena pinta y seguro que le sacamos provecho para llevarla en algún viaje.



4- Labial #301 'Satin Mauve' Soft Sensation, de Astor (de edición limitada).
Fue un regalo para nuestra madre, por San Queremos, y por el motivo de la edición limitada, en apoyo de la lucha contra el cáncer de mama, una causa que cuenta con todo nuestro apoyo.

5- Crema corporal "Honey Touch" y exfoliante corporal "Ayurveda Scrub" de Rituals (Marox). Estas minitallas vinieron de regalo con la revista Glamour, hace ya un par de meses y como véis, se me han juntado en el mismo post que un regalo posterior.
A este paso, voy a tener que echarle cremas a la gata, porque no voy a dar abasto a gastarlas, pero claro, a ese precio son una oportunidad estupenda de probar la marca.

Y esto ha sido todo por el momento.

Here we are again to show you our latest purchases.

1- 'Cross Action' replacement brush heads for Oral B (Marox). As you know we get these for a steal at the local flea market. Another option I recently discovered are the compatible brush heads that you can find in several stores like Buyincoins that are even cheaper. I actually ordered myself a pack so I can see how they compared to the originals and I'm never without replacements when these are sold out at the local flea market.
It's good to have a Plan B, don't you think?

2- 'Happy Buddha' foaming shower gel from Rituals (Marox). It was a recent freebie with InStyle magazine in Spain. I had a really hard time getting my hands on this, as most newsagents' sold the issue without the freebie or had the rice one that I'd already tried.
I had meant to buy the LE they had as a third option, but since I already have the trial-sized body cream and scrub that came with a different magazine a few months ago, I thought it would be nice to get a better feel of the entire range. 

 

3- Kemphor toothpaste (travel size) (Marox).
Another freebie with InStyle magazine. It looks good and surely will come in handy for any upcoming travel.


4 - Astor limited edition Soft Sensation lipstick in #301 'Satin Mauve'. It was a gift for our mother, and we bought it as it is a Limited Edition item, with the brand donating part of the proceeds to the fight against breast cancer in Spain, a cause we wholeheartedly support.



5- 'Honey Touch' body cream, and 'Ayurveda Scrub' body exfoliator from Rituals (Marox). Another magazine freebie, this time it's an older issue of GlamourSpain but as you see my procastination has made them feature in the same post as the one I just mentioned.
At this rate I'll have to use creams on MollyTheCat, as I have a neverending supply of body products. But how could I resist getting my hands on these for a fraction of their price?

Productos terminados #41 - 'Finito' products #41.

Aquí venimos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Mascarilla para puntos negros de Daiso (Marox). La compré en Ebay y la tenía en Zamora, en casa de mis padres. Aunque me ha durado bastante, al final se quedaba pegada dentro del envase y costaba mucho usarla, así que para la basura. Ya tengo repuesto.



2- Cabezal "Trizone" para cepillo eléctrico Oral B (Marox). Como sabéis, aprovechamos a comprar estos recambios en el mercadillo de Burgos, cuando los tienen. Hemos probado casi todos los que existen. A mí personalmente el Trizone me gusta menos que otros, porque tengo la impresión de que me dura menos y de que las cerdas se estropean antes. A Marian le gusta mucho.

3- Manteca corporal de Bliss (Marox). Vino como obsequio en una revista que traje de Estocolmo el verano pasado y la he usado ocasionalmente. Tiene un olorcito cítrico muy rico y se extiende muy bien. Me suena haber visto alguna cosa suelta de esta marca en Sephora, pero no tengo ni idea de lo que cuesta.




4- Desodorante en spray mini de Sephora (Marox). Lo compramos en unos precios locos de Sephora. Lo he usado principalmente en los viajes y la verdad es que estaba muy bien, ya que no contiene aluminio y protege bien. Estaría bien que lo tuvieran también en tamaño grande.

5- Exfoliante "Tradición de Hammam" de Yves Rocher (Marox). He usado muchos de éstos, aprovechando que Marian es clienta de Yves Rocher. Con el tiempo vas descubriendo otros más baratos e igualmente agradables, así que de momento no lo compraría. Con todo, es de esos productos de YR que merece la pena probar. Suelen tenerlos con descuento, ya sea del 50% ó 2x1.

Estos han sido nuestros terminados hasta ahora. Pero tranquilas, ya estamos "cocinando" otra entrada con más reseñas.

We're back with a quick review of our most recent Empties.

1 - Daiso blackhead peel-off mask (Marox).
I bought this off Ebay and had it at my parents' place in our hometown, Zamora. Although a little goes a long way, I couldn't use it to the very end, as it stuck to the tube and was almost impossible to spread. I've already got a replacement for this.

2 - Trizone Oral B brushhead: (Marox). As you know, we like to buy these at the local flea market in Burgos whenever they are available. We've tried almost all the ones they have. As for myself, I don't like this as much as I like others, since I get the impression that it lasts less than others because the bristles get squashed faster. Marian likes it very much, though.



3 - Bliss Body Butter (Marox): It was a freebie with a Swedish magazine I brought home last summer and I've been using it occasionally. The citrusy scent is very pleasant and it spreads really well. I recall seeing some Bliss products in Sephora, but I have no idea how much this costs.

4 - Travel-sized Sephora deodorant spray (Marox) We bought these some time ago at the Sephora sales. I've used mine when travelling and found it more than acceptable, as it is free from aluminium and provides good odour protection. Would consider buying this in a bigger size if such thing existed.



5 - 'Tradition du Hammam' Yves Rocher Body Scrub (Marox). I've used several of these jars over the years, as Marian used to buy Yves Rocher stuff fairly often. Over time, you discover other brands that carry equally good products that are more reasonably priced, so I won't repurchase for the time being. However, it's one of those products from YR that is worth trying at least once. The store has different discounts all year round, ranging from 50% offers to 2x1 deals.

These are our 'finito' products so far. But don't worry, because we're 'cooking' another post of our empties series with more reviews.

Productos terminados #37 - 'Finito' products #37.

Aquí venimos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Exfoliante Chocomanía de The Body Shop.
Lo hemos probado las dos, y la verdad es que no nos ha gustado nada, nada. Es el primer producto de The Body Shop que no recomendamos en absoluto.
El gránulo es muy pequeño y se deshace al frotar en la piel mojada. Además, como tiene ese color, dejas la bañera hecha un desastre.
Como ya os imaginaréis, no vamos a repetir con él. ¡Menos mal que era la minitalla de 50ml! Aún así nos ha costado acabarla.

2- Colonia Lady Rebel, de Mango, "Rock Deluxe" (Marian).
Venía en el pack de Lady Rebel que me regaló Marox por Navidad.
Esta fragancia quizá es más apropiada para la noche, en comparación con la "Dance Queen", de la que ya os hablé.
Pero yo la he estado utilizando para el día.
El bote tiene sólo 30 ml, así que la he gastado en un suspiro.

3- Prebase de ojos de Cargo (Marian).
Venía en una paleta de sombras que compré hace bastante tiempo, y que por cierto, tengo bastante olvidada.
Por sí sola esta prebase no hace que las sombras perduren mucho tiempo, así que la uso debajo de sombras en crema o tipo jumbo.
Aún me quedan otras dos que venían en la paleta, y que iré gastando.

4 - Gel íntimo Carefree (marox). No acostumbro a reseñar estos productos en nuestras entradas de Terminados, pero al fin y al cabo, todas los usamos. Me ha gustado y no me importaría repetir. Era lo suficientemente espeso como para no escurrirse en la mano, hacía espuma. Lo compré porque quería un bote pequeño para usar entre semana. 
Como pega, quizá haya opciones más económicas.

5- Mascarilla capilar de aloe vera de "Naturaleza y Vida" (Marian).
Creo que es el segundo bote que termino, y la verdad es que me encanta, y no me importaría repetir. No me deja el pelo graso en absoluto, y sí muy fácil de desenredar.
Ahora mismo estoy usando una de Alverde, que conseguimos en nuestro "poticamelleo" con Carlilla, y que también me está gustando, aunque no es exactamente el mismo tipo de producto.
Ya os haré una reseña en condiciones cuando lo termine.




6- Corrector en barra de Deliplus (Marian).
Lo tenía por ahí muerto de risa (eso sí, todavía precintado), así que me decidí a usarlo.
Lo he estado usando, pero no para la zona de la ojera, (que es muy delicada, y no creo que frotar sea una buena idea) sino para camuflar manchas e imperfecciones del rostro.
Aunque ha cumplido su función bastante bien, no repetiré con este tipo de producto.
Las imperfecciones que tengo se camuflan bastante bien con la BB cream que uso como maquillaje todos los días.
¿Para qué usar dos productos pudiendo usar sólo uno?

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por el momento.

Here we are with a new review of the stuff we've used up recently.

1 - Chocomania Body Scrub from TBS. We've both used this and none of us liked it one bit. Nope. It's the first product we've tried from the brand that has truly disappointed us.
The scrub particles are very small and seem to melt on damp skin. Besides, the dark colour will surely turn your bathtub into a complete mess.
You can guess we won't repurchase it, not in a million years. Thanks, but no, thanks. It's just as well it was only the 50ml trial size! And even that way we really had to make an effort to use it up.

2 -Mango 'Lady Rebel - Rock Deluxe' EdT (Marian): This was part of the set I got from marox last Christmas.
This fragrance is perhaps better suited for the evening, as opposed to the 'Dance Queen' I'd already reviewed.
However, I used this to wear during the daytime. The bottle is only a 30 ml one that I finished in an eyeblink.



3 - Eyeshadow base from Cargo (Marian): It came with an eyeshadow palette I bought long ago and which incidentally, I've very much forgotten about.
On its own it does not make eyeshadows last longer on me, so I used this underneath cream eyeshadows or shadow sticks.
I still have to do the same thing with the remaining two bases in the palette.

4 -Carefree intimate wash (marox): I seldom include this stuff in our Empties posts, but after all, we all use these things, don't we? I liked this and would repurchase. It wasn't runny and didn't spill between my fingers and lathered nicely. I bought this because I needed a small bottle to use on weekdays.
The only con I can think of is that there are cheaper alternatives out there.



5- Aloe Vera Hair Mask from 'Naturaleza y Vida (Nature and Life)' (Marian).
I think this is the second tub I use up, and I love it so much that I wouldn't mind getting it again. It doesn't leave my hair with a greasy feeling, but is easy to detangle.
I'm now using one from Alverde, which we got with our 'stash deal' with Carlilla.
I also like this product, although it's not exactly the same kind of stuff.
I'll make a complete review when I use it up.

6- Stick concealer from Deliplus (Marian). This was gathering dust in a drawer -but still sealed- so I decided to give it a go.
I've been using it, though not on the delicate eye area but to cover blemishes on my face. It did the job well, though I won't buy this sort of thing again.
The imperfections on my skin are well concealed by the BB Cream I use as a make up foundation every day.
Why use two products when you can do with just one?

Nuevo pedido a The Body Shop / New order at The Body Shop

Antes de que terminaran las rebajas en The Body Shop nos animamos a hacer un segundo pedido, puesto que había una selección de artículos al 70%. ¿Queréis ver lo que pedimos? Seguid leyendo, pues.

1 - Manteca corporal de melocotón de viña (marox):
Aún no lo he estrenado; sólo lo he abierto para olerlo, y huele delicioso.

2 - Exfoliante corporal de melocotón de viña (marox):
Tampoco lo he estrenado todavía. La idea es usarlo a la misma vez que la manteca.

3 -  Manteca corporal de chocolate Chocomania (Marian):
Ya conozco el olor y la textura de esta manteca, porque Marox también la tiene y la he usado un par de veces, así que esta vez he jugado sobre seguro. Ésta todavía no la he usado, porque estoy usando la de moringa (Mmmmmm...), y tengo otras esperando.



4 -  Exfoliante corporal de coco (Marian):
Este exfoliante corporal contiene aceite de coco virgen de origen orgánico. Promete dejar la piel suave y sedosa.
Trae 300 ml, 100 más que el de melocotón que se pidió marox al mismo precio.
Huele a coco que te pasas, cosa que no me resulta un inconveniente en absoluto, porque sabéis que el olor a coco me encanta. La textura es como de crema espesa.
Ahora estoy usando uno de chocolate de Giovanni de iHerb, así que éste tendrá que esperar.

5- Barra de labios Colour Crush '04 - Unchained Mulberry' (Marian):
A veces es un poco arriesgado comprar este tipo de cosas a través de la web, porque una no sabe si va a acertar con el color, pero en este caso ha sido un acierto.
Me gustan el color, la cremosidad y el efecto irisado que deja en los labios. Me parece muy hidratante, así que creo que le sacaré mucho partido. Al ser hidratante, no marca los pequeños pellejitos que podamos tener.

1 - Vineyard Peach Body Butter (marox):
I haven't tried it yet; I just opened it to smell it, and it smells delicious.

2 -  Vineyard Peach Body Scrub (marox):
I haven't tried it yet. I intend to use it at the same time as the body butter.



3-  Chocomania Cocoa Body Butter (Marian):
I already know both the scent and the texture of this body butter, because Marox owns this one as well, and I've used it a few times myself, so this time I'm playing it safe.
I haven't tried this one yet, as I'm using the moringa one at the moment (Yumm...), and I have others awaiting their turn to be used.

4-  Cocunut Cream Body Scrub (Marian):
This exfoliating body scrub contains organic virgin coconut oil. It claims to leave skin soft and smooth.
The tub has 300ml, 100 more than the scrub marox got for the same price.
It smells strongly of coconut, but it's not an inconvenience at all, as you already know that I love coconut scented things. The texture seems thick.
I'm now using one from Giovanni that we got from iHerb, so this one will have to wait too.



5-  Colour Crush Lipstick in '04- Unchained Mulberry' (Marian):
It can be a little hard to buy this kind of things online, as you never know if you'll get the colour right, but I have to say that I hit jackpot with this.
I like both the colour, how creamy it is, and the iridescent, frosted effect on the lips.
I will be using this very often.
Another thing I like about this is that it works well even if you have chapped lips, as it doesn't draw attention to that.

Pedido a The Body Shop / The Body Shop Haul

Hi girls,

Aprovechamos que durante 72h la tienda online de The Body Shop puso descuentos de hasta el 50% en una selección de artículos para hacernos con algunos productos.
Hice el pedido el día 28 de diciembre y llegó el 7 de enero al punto de recogida escogido por mí. Me llegó un mensaje al móvil para indicarme que podía recogerlo cuando quisiera.

Esto es lo que pedimos:

1 -  Manteca Corporal de Vainilla Brulée de edición limitada: 9€ (precio normal, 16€). No la usaré aún, ya que prefiero ir usando las que tengo compradas de antes, no vaya a ser que se estropeen. No hace falta decir que huele delicioso. Yo creo que el de vainilla es un aroma básico que toda marca debería tener en su gama permanente. ¿No os parece?

2 - Manteca Corporal de Arándano Escarchado de edición limitada:9€ (precio normal, 16€). Marian se quedará con esta manteca, aunque amenazo con probarla cuando esté de visita en su casa.

3 - Jabón de vainilla brulée: 2€ (precio normal, 6€) Contiene 100 gr. El complemento perfecto a la manteca de la misma linea. Ahora mismo estoy gastando el de chocolate entre semana y la verdad es que es muy agradable y cremosito. Aunque a precio normal no los compraría, estando rebajados a ese precio merece la pena añadir alguno a la cesta si sois más de usar jabón sólido que gel.

4 - Jabón de arándano escarchado de edición limitada: 2€ (precio normal, 6€) Contiene 100 gr también.
Me gustaría usarlo a la vez que la manteca, pero no sé si será posible, ya que los jabones me duran más que las mantecas, y acabo de estrenar el jabón de Chocomanía de TBS, de un pedido anterior.

5 - Jabón de manzana glaseada: 2€ (precio normal, 6€). Contiene 100 gr.

6 - Exfoliante corporal chocomanía (50ml): Rebajado a 2,25€ (precio normal, 5€) Aún así, sale carete, pero en otros pedidos cuando el de tamaño grande ha estado rebajado, justo estaba agotado, así que así al menos me quito la espinita de probarlo y repetir con él si me gusta en formato grande. De momento sólo lo he usado una vez y lo cierto es que quería probarlo antes de terminar el jabón y manteca de la misma gama y quería probarlos juntos. Se nota más la acción exfoliante si se aplica con la piel seca, pero esperaré a usarlo más para formarme una opinión más concreta.
No viene precintado y sospecho que fue éste producto el que se derramó un poquito.

Estas han sido nuestras compras en The Body Shop, y ya os adelantamos que no han sido las últimas.

We jumped at the chance to place a new order at TBS online store, as they had a selection of items 50% off for 72 hours. That way we could restock on some products.
I placed my order on December 28th and it came on January 7th to the delivery point I had previously selected. I got an e-mail telling me I could collect my package there anytime.

This is what we ordered:

1 - Vanilla Brulée Body Butter (LE): 9 EUR instead of the usual 16 EUR. I will not be using it yet, as I'd rather use the ones I'd purchased in previous orders. I don't want them to go off or anything. Needless to say it smells heavenly. I'd say all deserving brands should stock vanilla-scented products permanently, don't you agree? It's a staple scent, after all.

2 - Frosted Cranberry Body Butter (LE): 9 EUR instead of the usual 16 EUR. Marian will keep this, though I've threatened her to use it too whenever I'm staying at her place.

3 - LE Vanilla Brulée Soap Bar: 2 EUR, instead of the usual 6. It contains 100 gr and will be the perfect companion to the body butter from said range. I'm using the chocomania soap bar during the week and it's very creamy and pleasant to use. I wouldn't pay full price for these, but I'd definitely add some to your shopping basket if you prefer beauty bars to shower gels.

4 - LE Frosted Cranberry Soap Bar: 2 EUR, instead of the usual 6. Contains 100 gr and will be a match made in heaven for the body butter Marian ordered.
I'd like to use it at the same time as the body butter, but I don't know if this will be possible, as soap bars last longer than body butters, and I've just used for the first time the TBS soap bar from the 'Chocomania' range that came with an earlier order.



5 - LE Glazed Apple Soap Bar: 2 EUR, instead of the usual 6. It contains 100 gr.

6 - Chocolate Body Scrub (mini size, 50 ml): Discounted off to 2,25 EUR (usually retails at 5 EUR). Sales and all, it's pricey, but everytime I've placed an order during the TBS sales it was sold out, so at least I can get if off my chest and get the full sized tub next time it's in stock (and hopefully, 50% off).
I've only used it once and I wanted to do so before I use up the soap bar and body butter from the same range so I could see how the different products worked together. The exfoliation is more noticeable if applied on dry skin, but like I said, I should wait until I've used it more thoroughly to get a proper impression.
It isn't sealed and I suspect this was the tub that caused a minor spill.

These have been our purchases at The Body Shop, and we can already say that there are more to come.

Haul iHerb / iHerb Haul

Si recordáis la *entrada* sobre mis regalos y autoregalos de navidad, os comenté que había hecho un pedido a iHerb que acababa de recibir. Hé aquí dicho pedido con unas primeras impresiones de los productos que he podido probar hasta el momento.
Lo cierto es que ya me veía presentando reclamación, cuando pasado justo un mes desde la fecha de mi pedido, llamó mi querido cartero a la puerta. 

1 - Exfoliante corporal purificante de Giovanni: Mis reservas de exfoliantes van menguando, así que incluí este producto en mi pedido. Aún no lo he probado, así que lo único que puedo deciros es que está hecho a base de azúcar, por lo que imagino que no sea muy agresivo. Contiene también ceniza volcánica y extractos de bayas de Goji y de Açai, con un alto contenido antioxidante. La marca dona un 5% de los beneficios a la asociación americana contra el cáncer de mama, así que es un producto solidario también. Este tubo de 170 ml costó 6,99 dólares.
Tengo entendido por otras reseñas que proporciona un breve efecto calor, pero tendré que esperar a probarlo por mí misma.

2 - Gel para rizos "Curling Custard" de Kinky Curly: Formulado con ingredientes naturales, define e hidrata los rizos al mismo tiempo. Es un producto caro -pagué 16,99 dólares- disponible en dos tamaños, siendo éste el más pequeño. Lo hemos probado las dos y nos ha gustado mucho. Cunde bastante, ya que no hace falta mucha cantidad. El rizo queda definido y sin acartonar, y el pelo no se nota seco con el paso de los días. Suele estar agotado, así que tuve suerte de que no lo estuviera durante el Black Friday.

3 -Champú a la manzanilla de Nature's Gate: Este champú sin sulfatos está pensado para cabello teñido -no es mi caso-. Digamos que fue un plan B, ya que el que quería comprar estaba agotado. He tenido ocasión de usarlo un par de veces y os puedo decir que tiene un olor muy agradable y que forma bastante espuma para ser un champú sin sulfatos. Cunde bastante y quizá reseca algo el pelo, ya que se nota esa sensación de tirantez al aclararlo, por lo que es necesario usar mascarilla sí o sí, al menos en mi caso.
Me costó 5,47 dólares y trae 500 ml.

4 - Aceite de ricino de Aura Cacia: Tenía ganas de hacerme con éste producto, ya que es todo un multiuso. Ya he añadido un par de gotas a varias máscaras de pestañas y a mi loción anticaída. Como ya sabréis el aceite de ricino - castor oil en inglés- va muy bien para fortalecer el pelo y se puede mezclar con otros aceites y beneficiarse así de diferentes propiedades. En iHerb tenéis varias marcas y varios tamaños. Yo escogí éste con poco más de 100 ml por 3,95 dólares que podéis ver *aquí*.

 

5 - Aceite de coco Monöi (Vainilla): La composición de estos aceites es muy similar. Como ya sabéis que aborrezco el olor a coco, escogí éste con olor a vainilla y la verdad es que ha sido un acierto. Como hace frío, está solidificado, pero lo caliento un minuto bajo el grifo de agua caliente para derretir un poco. Lo hemos usado tanto Marian como yo, principalmente sobre el pelo recién lavado y desenredado. El olorcito permanece en el pelo. El aceite de coco se puede aplicar en las raíces si tenéis descamación o el cuero cabelludo muy seco (os recuerdo que tengo psoriasis) para ayudar a soltar las costras o simplemente, hidratar el cuero cabelludo aplicando unas cuantas gotas.
Me costó 8,60 dólares.

If you remember the *blogpost* about the Xmas gifts I received and the ones I bought myself, I mentioned having placed an order at iHerb that had just arrived. I'll show you the items in said order as well as give you my first impressions of those I've tried so far.
The truth is I'd been envisioning myself having to ask for a refund when my dear postman buzzed in with this package, a full month after I ordered this.

1 - Giovanni Purifying Body Scrub: My scrub stocks were running low, so I decided to add this to my order. I haven't tried it yet, so all I can say is that it's sugar-based which will make it gentle enough. It contains volcanic ashes and Goji and Açai berry extracts, renowned for their antioxidant properties. The brand gives 5% of their proceeds to the American Breast Cancer Research Foundation, making this a charitable product too. I paid 6.99 USD for this 170 ml tube.
From what I've read in some reviews this is supposed to give a brief warming effect, but I guess I'll have to wait and see for myself.

2 - Kinky Curly Curling Custard: Formulated with natural ingrediens, it defines and moisturises curls at the same time. It doesn't exactly come out cheap -I paid $16.99 for mine- and it is available in two different sizes, mine being the smallest. 
We've both tried it and are pleased with it. A little goes a long way, as only a small amount is needed in every use. It defines curls without the crunchy feel and hair is soft and smooth as the days go by. It is often sold out, so I was lucky enough it wasn't during iHerb's Black Friday offers.

3 - Nature's Gate Chamomille Shampoo:  This SLS-free shampoo is meant for chemically treated hair -not my case atm- but was my choice all the same after discovering the one I'd intended to buy was out of stock.
I've used it a couple of times and can only tell you that it is pleasantly scented and lathers nicely for a SLS-shampoo. You only need a small amount and my only con so far would be that is feels a tad too stripping, leaving that squeaky-clean feeling that is the cue for a good hair mask afterwards. Or at least I feel that way about it.
I paid 5.47 USD for this 500ml bottle.

4 - Aura Cacia's Castor Oil: I'd been looking forward to finally get my hands on this, as it's a great multitasking product. I've already added a few drops to a couple of mascaras and my hairloss lotion. It's widely known that castor oil is great for strengthening hair and can be mixed with different oils to benefit from their distinctive properties.
Iherb sells several brands and sizes, but I chose this 4fl. oz bottle as I wasn't looking for something too bulky.  I paid 3.95 USD.

5 - Coconut Monoï vanilla-scented oil: The ingredient list for these oils is almost identical, the only difference being the fragrance. You know how much I abhor coconut-scented products, so I got the vanilla-scented version and I have to say I'm very pleased with my choice. It becomes solid when cold, so I put the bottle under the tap with hot water running for about a minute until a little turns into liquid. Both Marian and myself have used this, especially on wet, detangled hair. The scent will last for a while, which I like. Coconut oil can be used on the roots or scalp if you have flaky or extremely dry scalp (I have scalp psoriasis, if you remember) and can help you get the flakes off or will just help your scalp retain moisture with a few drops.
I paid $8.60 for this.
