UDLS/NOTW: Lumene "Trouble Maker".

Hola, chicas:

Hace mucho tiempo que no os enseño ninguna manicura, porque hace mucho tiempo que no me hago ninguna, y es que he estado un poco "vaga" últimamente.

He utilizado el esmalte de Lumene "Trouble Maker", que compré durante nuestra última estancia en Estocolmo, el verano pasado.

Este esmalte tiene un tono gris, con reflejos dorados y rojizos.

Aquí tenéis, como siempre, a los tres protagonistas de esta manicura.

Apliqué como base el "calcium gel" de Basic, que ya está un poco espeso, así que mucho me temo que ya no lo veréis más en acción. Después he aplicado dos capas de este esmalte, y por último, el top coat de Poshé.

Estoy contenta con la duración de esta manicura; 4 ó 5 días más o menos, como casi siempre.

Debo decir que el color y el acabado de este esmalte han gustado mucho.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por ahora.
Espero no tardar tanto en enseñaros la próxima manicura.

It's quite a long time since Ishowed you a mani for the last time, but the thing is that I've been a bit 'lazy' lately, so I haven't polished my nails for quite a long time.

I've used Lumene 'Trouble Maker' nail polish, which I bought during our latest stay in Stockholm last summer.



This polish is in a grey shade, with golden and reddish reflections.

Here you can see the three main stars of the show.

I applied the calcium gel from Basic as a base. Its texture now is a bit thick, so I think you won't see it in action anymore.
After that, I applied two thin layers of this polish, and the top coat from Poshé to finish.

I'm happy with the lasting time of this mani: 4 or 5 days more or less, as usual.

I must say that people liked both the shade and finish of this polish.

UDLS/NOTW: Lumene "Brilliant Stars".

Aquí estoy de nuevo para enseñaros mi más reciente manicura.

Utilicé este esmalte de Lumene, que compré durante nuestra segunda visita a Estocolmo.

Aquí veis a todos los protagonistas de esta manicura.



En primer lugar, apliqué una capa del gel de calcio de Basic, a continuación dos capas finas de este esmalte, y después, el top coat de Poshé.



Este esmalte tiene un color granate precioso, y efecto "foil".

Me retiré el esmalte al quinto día, después de un gran desconchón en el dedo índice de la mano derecha, así que nada que objetar en cuanto a duración.

Esto es todo de momento.
Todavía tengo algún esmalte por estrenar. Aún no sé cuál usaré primero.
Espero no tardar demasiado tiempo en enseñaros mi próxima manicura (he estado un poco vaga últimamente).

Here I am again to show you my latest mani.

I used this polish from Lumene, which I bought on our second visit to Stockholm.

Here you can see all the stars of the show.

First of all, I applied a coat of the calcium gel from Basic. Then two thin coats of this polish, and the top coat from Poshé to finish.



This polish has a beautiful maroon shade, and a foil effect.

I removed the polish the fifth day, after a big chipping on my right index finger. I have nothing to complain about its lasting time.



This is all for now.
I still have some polishes waiting for the first use, but I don't know which one I'll be using first.
I hope to show you my next mani soon (I've been a bit lazy lately).

Primera pedicura del 2015 - First pedi in 2015.

Hola, chicas:

Comienza la temporada de pedicuras para mí, y aquí os traigo la primera.

He utilizado el esmalte "Blue Star" de Lumene, que compré en Estocolmo. 
Como base, utilicé el gel de calcio de Basic, y como top coat, el "High Shine top coat" de Essence, que sólo utilizo para las pedicuras, como ya sabréis.



Me gusta usar tonos oscuros para las pedicuras, porque me parece que combinan mejor con la ropa o el calzado que llevemos. Aunque por otra parte, creo que los colores vibrantes también quedan muy bien para verano.

Es una lástima que estos días no pueda lucir mis pies (que tampoco son nada del otro mundo, como podéis ver), porque está lloviendo, y creo que tenemos para unos días.

Esto es todo por ahora.

The pedis' season has just started for me, so here you are the first one.

I used the polish 'Blue Star' from Lumene, which I bought in Stockholm.
As a base, I used the calcium gel from Basic, and the 'High shine top coat' from Essence on top, which I only use for my pedis, as you'll probably know.

I like using dark shades for my pedis, because I think they match better with any colour of clothes or sandals.
On the other hand, I also think that vibrant shades look great now in summertime.



It's a pity that I can't show my feet now (which they're nothing special, by the way), because it's now raining, and I'm afraid we will have more rain for the following days.

UDLS/NOTW: Lumene '44 Quick Sand'.

Aquí estoy de nuevo para enseñaros mi última manicura hasta el momento.

Este esmalte es el primero que utilizo con efecto arena. Tiene una base negra con partículas en distintos tonos de verde. Lo compramos durante nuestro viaje a Estocolmo. Hablo en plural, porque las dos compramos este mismo esmalte.
Utilicé como base el Nail Envy de OPI, que me prestó Marox. Como top coat, usé el Poshé.
Pensé que usando top coat no quedaría tan marcado ese acabado tan rugoso, y así fue.
Se nota, pero es menos perceptible.



La manicura me ha durado 3 días (menos de lo que me duran últimamente).
Me resultó bastante difícil de retirar, incluso con el método del papel de aluminio.
Creo que para otra vez que utilice este esmalte, usaré como base la "peel-off" de Essence.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

Here I am again to show you my latest mani so far.



This polish is the first one that I use with a 'sand finish'. It has a black base with different shades of green particles. We bought it during our recent trip to Stockholm. I say 'we' because we both bought a couple of these.
I used Nail Envy by OPI as a base, which I borrowed from Marox. As a top coat, I used the one by Poshé.
I thought that if I used a top coat, the effect of the polish would be less rugged?, and so it was.
It's noticeable, but not that much.

This mani lasted for 3 days (less than lately).
I found it quite hard to remove, even with the foil method.
I think that next time I use this polish, I'll use the 'peel-off' base by Essence.

UDLS/NOTW: Lumene "43 Blue Star".

Aquí vengo a enseñaros mi última manicura hasta ahora.

El protagonista principal es este esmalte de Lumene, que compré en nuestro viaje a Estocolmo. Os lo enseñamos *aquí*.
Es un esmalte en un tono azul oscuro con reflejos en distintos tonos de azul.
No me lo esperaba, pero la verdad es que ha tenido mucho éxito entre mis compañeras de trabajo, que hasta me preguntaron que qué esmalte era.

Aquí podéis ver a todos los protagonistas de esta manicura.



Primero apliqué una capa del gel de calcio de Basic, después dos finas capas de este esmalte, y por último, el top coat de Poshé, para terminar, que me encanta, porque da un brillo precioso.

He quedado encantada con la duración de este esmalte. He llevado esta manicura durante... ¡¡una semana!!



Tengo algún otro esmalte de la marca por probar, así que ya los iréis viendo.

Here I am to share with you my latest mani so far.

The lead character in this mani is this Lumene nail polish that I brought home from our recent trip to Stockholm. You saw it in the corresponding Haul post *here*.
It's dark blue and shows different variations of blue under different lights. I wasn't expecting that and it was certainly eyecatching enough, as my workmates all praised it and went as far as asking what nail polish I was wearing.

And here's the rest of the cast.

I first applied a coat of my Basic calcium gel and then another two thinnish coats of this lacquer. I topped it with some Poshé, as I love the shine it gives to my manis.



I'm head over heels in love with this lacquer's staying power. I wore this for... a week!!

I have another polish from this brand awaiting its turn to shine, so expect another Lumene at some point.
