Productos terminados #28 - 'Finito' products #28.

Hola, chicas:

Hi girls,
Here we are with a new review of the stuff we've used up recently.

1- Anti dark spot serum trial set from Sulwhasoo (Marian).
When Marox got me the whole anti dark spot treatment kit, I liked this product the most. So, when I used it up, I decided to buy this minisize trial set, which includes 4 sample bottles.
Though, like I said, I like it much, I haven't repurchased it.
I didn't like the idea of buying many small bottles. Maybe you could think this is dumb.
Anyway, I also like trying out new things.
All this product range has a nice herbal scent.

2- Liquid eyeliner in black, from P2 (Marian).
I bought it during our Berlin trip. We showed you it at the beginning of this blog.
I haven't used it very often, because I'm not so skilful with this kind of stuff. But the latest times I used it (for special occasions), I think I catched the trick. I like both its long lasting and high pigmentation.
However, to replace it, I've chosen an eyeliner in a pen format, which I bought in Liverpool (you could see it *here*).

3- Cherry and macadamia body butter from Superdrug (Marian).
I felt a bit sad when I used it up, because I love the scent. It reminds me of the beauty products from the 'Cherry therapy' (literally translated) range we tried at the Valle del Jerte Hotel & Spa here in Spain a few years ago (before the beginning of this blog).
It has quite a thick consistency, but it absorbs easily and leaves the skin without that hideous greasy feeling.
I loved this product. Unfortunately, it's not easy for me to find and therefore I won't be able to repurchase.

4- Make-up remover milk from Yves Rocher (Marian).
I received this product as part of a gift when I made my Christmas beauty purchases at Yves Rocher -*UK site* / *US site*.
I've been using it in my daily face cleansing routine, and I truly liked it much. It 'melts' all the make-up, which I finally clean with my make-up remover sponge from Kanebo, which I showed you *here*. Afterwards, in order to remove any possible make-up residue (as it always happens), I used a gentle face soap.

5- Body spray 'Blue Cedar Bark' from their Nectar of Nature range (Les Cosmetiques- Carrefour's offbrand) (Marian).
Although theoretically it's an eau de cologne, I use it as a body spray after shower.
I love the scent of this kind of products, so I try every type I can get my hands on.
I like both these and the ones from Deliplus. I don't have a favorite one.

This is all for now.
Have you tried any of these?
Tell us on the comments section below.

UDLS / NOTW: Models Own 'Hayley's Comet'.

What's up, my lovelies?

I hope you're doing well. As for me, I'm quite busy with work and a partial home reno at my parents' to boot.
I have a mani for you today, featuring the only polish I bought in our recent trip to Liverpool.
This is what happens when you decide you have too many polishes. You say, enough is enough and only buy those that don't resemble any others in your stash or that are special for some reason.
Well, I'd rather give honour where honour is due and therefore say it was actually Marian who spotted this, because she knew I'd love it.

The varnish I'm sharing with you here fulfills these criteria: for starters, it didn't remind me of others I already had and it is certainly unique.
I used this at least a couple of weeks ago. I don't really remember if I used the 'Better Than Gel Nails' or my Peel-off base coat, both from Essence. I then applied two / one generous coats of this lacquer. I don't recall how long I wore this for, but probably two or three days.

I wish I could write down as I used to all those details when writing my mani posts, but lately I'm always in a hurry.
Though I like the way this looks on its own, I got a feeling the colour will pop out even more when layered on top of a darker polish.

This varnish was my most expensive beauty buy in Liverpool. I paid 5 pounds for this at Superdrug.

UDLS/NOTW: Esmalte 'Dramatic' de Collection.

Hola, chicas:

Hi girls,
It's been quite a long time since I posted a mani for the last time.
Now I'm showing you how the polish 'Dramatic' from Collection looks when worn. I bought it in Liverpool, at Superdrug.

I love maroon shades for nails. Besides, this one has a metallic finish with multicolour sparkles.

First of all I applied a coat of the calcium gel from Basic (Schlecker). Once dry, I applied a generous coat of this polish. While applying it, I realized that it's better to apply two coats than just one for a better colour payoff. And to finish, I applied the Poshé top coat, which I love.

This mani has lasted 5 days in perfect condition. After a hair wash, big chippings appeared, so I decide to remove it.

Aún no lo he estrenado.

Me costaron 4,49 libras.

Hi girls,
Here we are with the second part of our  Liverpool haul post. Check out the first part *here*.

As we already told you in the first installment of this series, we didn't have enough time to look around different shops, so we decided to get into Superdrug, where we bought the following stuff.

1- Eyeshadow palette 'Dusk til Dawn' from MUA (Marox). Among what we saw there, Marox liked this one the most, because it has a bit of everything: both neutral shades and more vibrant ones, without being too in-your-face. Besides, as you can see, all the shades have an excellent colour payoff. Price: 4 pounds.

2- Eyeshadow palette 'Purple', from Collection (Collection 2000) (Marox).
Marox is a sucker for purple, either for clothing or for make-up, so as you'll have guessed, she couldn't just turn a blind eye on this palette. The pigmentation of these eyeshadows is quite good, though not as good as than the ones from the MUA palette. Price: 3.99 pounds.

3- Apricot face scrub from St. Ives (Marox).
She read several reviews about this item, and all of them were positive, so she couldn't help buying it when she had the chance. It contains 150 ml, and its price was 1.99 pounds.
We've already tried it, and it's really great. It exfoliates the skin perfectly, leaving it soft and renewed.

4- Nail polish 'Hayley's Comet', from Models Own (Marox).
Actually it was Marian who saw it first, because she knew Marox would love it. So it was. As we already have enough nail polishes, now we buy just the ones with very special shades or effects. It reminds us the eyeshadow 'Label Whore' from Too Faced, but in its 'nail polish version'. What do you think?
It cost 5 pounds. It was the most expensive item from what we bought, but it's so beautiful that it's worth it.

5- Nail polish in the shade 'Dramatic' from the range Gothic Glam from Collection 2000 (Marian).
It's in a metallic maroon red shade, with small multi-colour reflections. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure I'll be showing you soon how it looks.
It cost 3.19 pounds.

6- Eyeliner pen, from Collection 2000 (Marian).
It's in black shade. I haven't tried it yet.
I usually use pencils to line my eyes, but excepting the automatic one from P2, which I bought in Berlin, the rest of the ones that I've used don't have either the creamy texture or the pigmentation I would like them to have.
I hope it to be easier to use than the liquid eyeliner from P2, which I only use on special occasions, because it takes me quite a long time to line my eyes with it. I guess it's a matter of practice.
Well, after all this discursiveness, I'll tell you its price, which was 2.99 pounds.

7- Cherry and macadamia body butter (Marian). It's from the brand Superdrug. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm sure it smells great. It cost 1.98 pounds.

8- 'Afro' comb and hairdresser scissors (Marian).
I bought the comb to replace the one I used to use when I go to the swimming pool, which has lost half of its spikes (I'll be showing it to you soon, in the next post about 'Finito' products). It cost 1.59 pounds.
I cut my hair by myself at home, following a tutorial video I watched on YouTube (that endless source of knowledge). I didn't have the appropriate scissors to do that, so I decided to buy ones. They cost 4.49 pounds.

These have been all our purchases at Superdrug, where, by the way, we took some spy-cam pics. Want to see them? Here you are.

The day we were coming back to Spain, Marox bought Marie Claire magazine at Liverpool's airport (we managed to get there in the nick of time, by the way). The magazine also contained a lipgloss as a gift. I don't remember how much the magazine was.

Well, these have been our purchases in Liverpool. Feel free to tell us what you think in the comments section below.
See you!
