Hola, chicas: Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente. 1- Mascarilla de arcilla azul de Sephora (Marian). Me ha encantado este formato. Se aprovecha muchísimo. Pone que da para 4 usos, pero yo he tenido para muchísimos más. ¿Quizá 40? No sé si tantos, pero desde luego bastantes más de 4. 2- Mascarilla de miel de manuka de Sephora (Marian). Es una mascarilla de tisú, que viene impregnada de sérum. Con este tipo de mascarillas me suelen salir granos después; con ésta sólo me brillaba un poco la frente, así que fenomenal. Después, he estado usando el sérum una vez a la semana tras mi rutina de limpieza. Como véis en la foto, Molly no se pudo aguantar las ganas de olisquear y ver qué me traía entre manos. 3 - Espuma ducha de Rituals Hammam Delight, con eucalipto y romero (marox): Vino hace un montón de tiempo con alguna revista. Me ha durado mucho porque la teníamos en nuestra otra casa. Las colaboraciones que la marca hace con las revistas españolas son una buena oportunidad de hacerse con ellas. Me gustan, pero creo que no pagaría el precio de venta habiendo opciones agradables que cunden más. Tengo aquí al menos otra diferente para usar.  4 - Bálsamo labial Biocura - Aldi: Son nuestros bálsamos favoritos, por precio y calidad. Vienen en un paquete de 3 y creo que cuestan 2 euros. Dependiendo de la época, tienen una gama estándar o algún 'sabor' como miel, granada... Siempre que vamos a Aldi, que no es muy a menudo, compramos. Son ideales para llevar en el bolso, tener por casa, etc. Estos han sido nuestros terminados por ahora. ¿Habéis probado alguno? Contadnos abajo, en los comentarios. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls, Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties'. 1- Blue clay mask from Sephora (Marian). I love this kind of packaging, because you can make the most of it.  In theory, this is supposed to be used up to 4 times, but I got a lot more uses than that. Maybe 40? Well, maybe not that much, but way more than just 4. 2- Manuka honey mask from Sephora (Marian).   It's a sheet mask that comes drenched in essence. With these masks, I usually break out afterwards. but with this one my forehead only got a bit shiny, so great. I've been using the leftover essence once a week after my cleansing routine. As you can tell from the pic, Molly couldn't help herself and had to sniff out and see what I was up to.  3 - Hammam Delight Rituals Shower Foam with eucalyptus and rosemary (marox): This was an old magazine freebie it's taken me really long to use up because it was in our second home. Brands teaming up with beauty magazines are a great chance to get your hands on splurge items such as these. I like them, but I wouldn't pay the retail price for them, considering there are other spa-like options that are more affordable and that will give you more uses.   I still have at least one more Rituals shower foam to use here.   4 - Biocura - Aldi Lipbalm: These are our favourite balms, price and quality wise. They come in a pack of 3 and I believe they retail at €2. Depending on the season, you may get a standard selection or find other scents like honey and pomegranate. Every time we go to Aldi -not that often- we always get some. They're excellent to carry around in your bag, have at home, etc. These have been our 'empties' so far. Have you tried any? Productos Terminados / Finito Products 2020 (VI)

Hola, chicas:   Parece que poco a poco se va instalando el frío entre nosotros, al menos por Castilla. Así que coged una mantita y pasad con nosotras unas minutos, leyendo sobre nuestros últimos terminados.   1 - Gel argán TBS: Me hice con este gel gracias a una revista, probablemente Glamour, hace unos meses. Con muy poca cantidad cunde. Nos ha gustado mucho a las 2. De esta linea únicamente había probado un bálsamo labial en formato latita. Me gustaría probar la manteca corporal correspondiente, así que ojalá vuelvan las revistas a hacer colaboraciones de este tipo para hacernos con más productos. Gracias a estas colaboraciones, suelo tener solucionadas las 'potiduchas'. Tengo otros 2 por gastar, de otros números de la revista, el último vino con la edición mini, así que salió todavía más a cuenta que éste, que vino con el tamaño grande de la revista. 2 - Desodorante Sanex 0%: Lo compramos en Primaprix, donde solemos comprar este tipo de cosas últimamente. Nos ha gustado mucho y aunque no lo hemos vuelto a ver, lo tendremos en cuenta para el futuro. 3 - Mascarilla tissú Sephora de té verde (marox): Compré esta mascarilla en rebajas, como podéis ver y he tardado algo en usarla. Es de las que tenéis que retirar una capa antes de ponerla.  Con estas mascarillas suele sobrar esencia: yo suelo guardar el sobrante en la nevera y me suele dar para un par de usos. Hacedlo con precaución, eso sí.     4 - Exfoliante 'Fortune Scrub' de Rituals: Vino con una revista hace una eternidad. Llevaba tiempo en mmi ducha pero lo usé mucho al principio y luego rarara vez me acordaba de él. Eso sí, es muy agradable de usar, no está suspendido en aceite como otro que tengo a medias en formato tarro. Aunque suelo ser partidaria de los tarros por aquello de que se aprovechan más los productos, en este caso prefiero este tipo de exfoliante, pero por la fórmula en sí.      5 - Mousse rizos Deliplus: Ya no está a la venta desde hace tiempo. Me gustaba mucho en su momento, pero desde que empezamos a usar el Potion 9 la usábamos esporádicamente. La última vez que intenté usarla la textura había cambiado, así que a la basura sin dudarlo.    6 - Base para uñas 'Better than Gel Nails' de Essence: Siempre ha sido una de mis favoritas, especialmente teniendo en cuenta su precio. Ésta estaba en nuestra segunda casa y la pobre está toda pastosa, así que se va a la basura. Esto ha sido todo por el momento. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls,   It's slowly getting colder, at least here in Castille. So cozy up and spend a few minutes reading about  our latest 'empties'.   1 - TBS Argan Oil shower gel: I got my hands on this shower gel as a magazine freebie, most likely with Glamour, a few months ago. A little really goes a long way with this. We liked it very much. The only product I'd tried from their argan line was a lip balm in a tin jar. I'd love to try the body butter, so fingers crossed that they'll partner again with the brand so I can test other stuff too. Thanks to these collabs, my 'pleasure showers' are taken care of. I still have another 2 left, from different lines. They came with other issues, the last one with the pocket edition which is an even better deal than this was. 2 - Sanex 0% Deodorant: We bought this at Primaprix outlet supermarket, where we tend to get all this stuff lately. We liked it a lot and although we haven't seen it again there, we'll keep an eye on it for a future visit.     3 - Sephora Green Tea Sheet Mask (marox): I bought this at a sale, as you can see, but it's taken me a while to use it. It does have a protective layer you need to peel off before you put it on. As with most sheet masks, there is leftover essence, so I keep them in the fridge and the remaining product is enough for a couple uses. Do this at your own risk, though. 4 - Rituals 'Fortune Scrub': This was a magazine freebie, a lifetime ago. It's been in my shower for a really long time. Long story short: used it often at first but then sort of forgot about it. It is really nice to use, though, it isn't an oil-based scrub like another I have in use that comes in a tub. Although I normally go for products that come in a tub, I'd rather get this, but not because of the format but the formula itself.    5 - Styling mousse for curly hair from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): It's no longer available and hasn't been in a while. I loved it back then, but ever since we switched to Potion9 I used it once in a blue moon. Last time I tried to do so, the texture was really funky, so it goes straight into our dustbin.      6 -  Essence 'Better than Gel Nails' base sealer: It's always been one of my favourites, especially considering how affordable it is. This was in our second home and it was all gooey, so I had to throw it away.   This is all for now. See you around.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2020 (V)

Empezamos mes, poco a poco volvemos a la rutina, si bien de forma diferente a otros años. 
Hoy nos gustaría enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Revista Marie Claire, agosto (marox): El mes pasado también piqué con ella, aunque no os la enseñé. En esta ocasión viene con otro libro y un brillo de labios en un tono bastante natural de Avon.

2 - Mascarillas tissú Mildeen (Aldi): Como en nuestra tierra sí que hay un supermercado Aldi, me animé a comprar estas mascarillas fabricadas en Corea, que tan buenas opiniones tienen. Había otra variedad más -té verde, creo-. Vienen en un pack de 2 mascarillas: una variedad es de granada y la otra de té negro. Tienen buena caducidad, así que gastaré otras primero.

 Aprovechando que tenía un cupón de 3€ de un email por suscribirme a su boletín de noticias, compré lo siguiente -entre otras cosas - en... *Primaprix*.

3 - Mascarillas tissú 'The Oozoo' (marox): Las conseguí por 3,95€ cada una. Esta marca coreana la tienen en *Sephora* y cuestan casi 9€ (también las tienen más baratas en PlanetSkin). Lo único malo es que caducan en unos meses, así que tendré que usarlas pronto. Cogí las 2 variedades que tenían, una de ácido hialurónico y otra con extractos de perla, trufa, etc. No las he probado aún.

3 - Desodorante roll-on Dove sin aluminio: Otro más para la colección, aunque de momento no lo usaré porque tengo más. Ya no me merece la pena comprar desodorantes por Internet. Éstos no están mal y los puedo comprar en tienda física. Además, así apoyamos un poco al comercio local, que falta hace en estos tiempos.
Precio: 1,60€

4 - Gel higienizante de Sephora, de almendra (marox): Me queda todavía un poco del que tengo, que compré poco antes de la declaración del estado de alarma y como me ha gustado mucho para llevar en el bolso, aprovechando que tuvimos que bajar al centro y allí hay un Sephora, aproveché.
Lo único que no me gusta, es el precio para la cantidad que trae, 30 ml. Está a la *venta* por 2,95€
La dependienta nos obsequió un par de muestras de la hidratante facial de Belief, que ya conocía gracias al set de minitallas.

Un detalle que me gustó mucho fue ver que en el centro la gente sí que iba toda con su mascarilla y bien puesta. Me temo que por nuestra zona se escaquea más la gente.

5 - Revista Glamour Septiembre 2020: Ya sabéis que cuando trae un regalo decente suelo picar. Antes de pasar por el kiosko suelo leer un par de blogs y ver algún video en Youtube sobre las revistas del mes para hacerme una idea de lo que traerán, aunque no siempre todo llegue a mi ciudad. De los regalos que traía Glamour gracias a la colaboración con la marca israelí *Sabon*, lo que más merecía la pena eran estos aceites de ducha. Yo me hice con el de jazmín, aunque tenían otros aromas en el kiosko. Trae algo más de 300ml. En su web cuestan unos 15 euros, así que hacerse con él por 3.95€ no está mal.

6 - Pack Hola + Hola Living: No esperaba encontrarla, pero hace poco Marian y yo tuvimos que ir al centro, por una zona por la que no solemos ir y por casualidad dimos con un macroestanco / macrokiosko, con revistas que no se encuentran en los kioskos de barrio. Por 3,95€ me hice con este pack, que traía como regalo una crema hidratante facial de *Naobay*, que tiene muy buena pinta.
Me va a pasar como con las cremas de manos, que tengo para 2 vidas entre alguna que he comprado y las que he conseguido con las revistas.

A new month begins and little by little we go back to our usual routine, albeit a bit differently this year.
Today we'd like to show you our latest purchases.

1 -  Marie Claire magazine, August issue (marox): I got last month's issue as well, though I didn't share that here. This time it had two freebies: a novel and a lip gloss from Avon in a very natural shade.

2 - Mildeen (Aldi) Sheet Masks: Since there is an Aldi supermarket in our hometown, we paid it a visit when we were there and I got my hands on these masks everyone raves about to try them out. They're made in Korea and there was a third type I didn't grab which I believe had green tea as the main ingredient. They come in a 2-pack. I got the pomegranate and the black tea ones. The expiration date is really good, so I'll use others first.

I happened to have a €3 coupon on an e-mail from... *Primaprix* for subscribing to their newsletter, so I paid this discount supermarket a visit and got the following, among other stuff.

3 - The Oozoo Sheet Masks (marox): These retailed at €3.95 each. The brand is sold at *Sephora* and they're sold at almost €9 there, so not a bad deal at all. The only catch is the expiration date is a couple of months away, so I'll have to use them sooner than later. I bought the two lines they had, one with hyaluronic acid and the other containing black pearl and truffle extracts.

3 - Aluminium-free Dove roll-on deodorant: Another one for my stash, but I won't be using it any time soon since I have at least another one. It's no longer worth it for me to order these online. These are OK and I can get them from a brick&mortar shop. Furthermore, I'm supporting a local business while doing so, something desperately needed in times like these.
Price: €1.60

4 - Sephora pocket hand cleansing gel, almond (marox): I still have some left, which I bought shortly before the lockdown. It is very pleasant to use and is convenient, so I bought a new one. We had to go downtown recently and there's a Sephora nearby, so I used the opportunity.
The only thing I don't like about this is the price, given that this is a pocket sanitizer with only 30ml in it. This *retails* at €2.95.
The salesgirl gave us each a sample of Belief's face cream that I'd tried thanks to the travel-size kit I got a while ago.

Something worth mentioning regarding our errands downtown was the fact that everyone there was wearing a mask and doing so properly. I'm afraid that's a responsibility people in our neighbourhood tend to shirk off more often than not.

5 - Glamour magazine, September 2020: You know that I always give in when it includes a nice freebie. Before heading to the nearest kiosk, I like to take a look at some blogs and Youtube channels that focus on monthly magazines and their freebies or lack of. That way I can get  an idea of what to expect, even if not everything they post makes it nationwide. From the freebies that came out thanks to this collab with Israeli brand *Sabon*, the ones that got more praise were their shower oils. I got the jasmine one, although I could find other scents too. It does contain a little over 300ml and they retail at about €15 on their website, so getting it for €3.95 was not a bad deal.

6 - Hola + Hola Living magazine bundle: I wasn't expecting to find this, but Marian and I had to go downtown recently, to an area we rarely go to and by chance, we saw a giant newsagents'. They sold magazines that don't make it to your neighbourhood kiosk. For just €3.95 I got this bundle, which included a *Naobay* face cream as a freebie that looks really nice. 
This is starting to resemble my hand cream situation. I have enough face cream for this life and the next between the ones I bought myself and the ones I get with magazines.

Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2020 (III)

Hola, chicas:
En esta ocasión os enseñamos los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 -  Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide' (marox): La compré muy baratita -por 1,25€, ya que caducaba pronto- en ese antro de perdición llamado *Primaprix*. Por cierto, en *Groupon* tuvieron una oferta interesante: comprando un cupón de 1€ te descontaban 4€ por una compra mínima de 7€. Estaba limitada a un cupón por persona.
No recuerdo si os había enseñado este producto en una entrada de compras. Probablemente no me ha dado ni tiempo.

2 - Recambios compatibles Oral B de Lidl: Como diría Beatriz de MissPotingues, se van de cabeza a Mis Descartes. La calidad es muy desigual en el pack: algunos recambios se ponen ¡y quitan! bien y otros en cambio no hay manera de que salgan, hasta el punto que estropeas el recambio al quitarlo. Olvidaos de ellos si de forma habitual o aunque sea ocasional, tenéis que compartir la base del cepillo. Creo recordar que no llegaron por poco a los 5€ por el paquete de 8. Aunque el precio está muy bien, no los recomiendo en absoluto.

3 - Mascarilla arcilla violeta Sephora (marox):  Ni que decir tiene que me ha durado muuuchooo más que los 4 usos que pone en el envase. Hablando de envase, me parece de lo más práctico y es una pena que hayan prescindido de él.


4- Perfume "Lovely"- Sarah Jessica Parker (Marian).
Fue un regalo de marox, como todos los perfumes que he venido usando últimamente.
A mí me ha gustado, pero cuando lo ha usado ella en alguna ocasión, dice que ni fú ni fa.

5 - Manteca corporal de Natura Estónica (marox): La compré hace ya bastantes meses en Druni y como casi todo lo de esta marca, me ha parecido un producto muy bueno. El aroma quizá no es tan goloso como las de TBS que suelo usar, pero se extiende bien, el tarro contiene 300ml y creo recordar que no llegó a los 4€, por lo que genial en cuanto a relación calidad-precio.

This time we're showing you what we've used up recently.

1 - Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide (marox):  I got this for a steal -€1.25 to be exact, due to the short expiration date- at that sinful outlet supermarket called Primaprix. By the way, they recently had a Groupon deal where you paid €1 and got €4 off with a minimum purchase of €7. It was limited to one per person, though.
I don't recall if I got round to showing you this in a Haul post. I may not even had time to do so.

2 - Oral B compatible brush heads from Lidl: Just like one of our followers, Beatriz from Miss Potingues would say, they go straight to Mis Descartes or Items to Throw Away without a backward glance.
I noticed the quality is very hit and miss within the same package: some brush heads are easy to put on and take off whereas others are a real pain to take off, to the point that you ruin the piece in the process. Forget about these replacements if you need to share the brush body on a regular or even occasional basis. I believed these retailed for slightly under €5 and came in an 8-pack. As affordable as they may be, I wouldn't recommend them at all.


3 - Sephora purple clay mask (marox):  Needless to say I managed to stretch this muuch further than the 4 uses stated on the packaging. On the subject of packaging, this is super convenient and it's just a pity Sephora decided to discontinue this mask format.

4- 'Lovely' by Sarah Jessica Parker fragrance (Marian).
It was a gift from marox, as every fragrance I've been using lately.
I liked it quite much, but when she used it some times, she didn't like it. 

 
5 - Natura Estonica Body Butter (marox): I bought this many months ago and with pretty much everything I've tried from the brand, I really liked it. The scent may not be as gourmand as those TBS I'm now so used to, but it's great value for money, with a 300ml tub. It's easy to spread and if memory serves, this was less than €4.

Compras Rebajas 2020 / Sales Haul

¿Qué tal lleváis el confinamiento? Nosotros al menos estamos ya todos en la misma ciudad. Mi padre tuvo una arritmia y estuvo unos días ingresado. Afortunadamente se encuentra muy bien.
Aquí venimos a enseñaros nuestras compras en las rebajas. Parece que fue hace un siglo.
Más vale tarde que nunca.

1 - Set Nars 'Torrid' (marox): Está claro que no se me puede sacar de casa. Marian y yo bajamos al centro a ver la decoración navideña antes de que la quitaran, un 5 de enero y para mi sorpresa, en el Sephora del centro ya habían empezado a poner rebajas. Como véis, me cogí este set de colorete y bálsamo labial con color del tono 'Torrid', que por lo visto es la versión "potente" del Orgasm. El precio rebajado fue de 18€.



2 - Pijama Harry Potter de Women' Secret (marox): Pues sí, con la excusa de las rebajas, piqué con otro. La parte de arriba, como la anterior, es muy abrigadita. El pantalón me quedaba muy ancho, pero afortunadamente tengo quien me lo ha sabido arreglar. El pijama era una talla L.

3 - Vestido Ralph Lauren de Zalando Privé (marox): A finales de febrero, con idea de estrenarlo en una cena con las compañeras de Burgos, me pillé este 'Little Black Dress' de Lauren de Ralph Lauren. Por 55,90 (sumado ya el envío) es un chollazo, porque esta marca tiene muy buena calidad. A precio Inditex tengo un vestido para toda la vida. Lo pedí en una talla menos -la 38 / 4 USA- que el que me compré el año pasado, que me queda un pelín grande. La referencia de éste sólo pone 'Dress Black Svet'
Tengo intención de estrenarlo por mi cumple en unos días, aunque sea para celebrarlo en casa.
No consigo que me queden bien las fotos al ser negro, así que os dejo una 'en condiciones' de la web de Zalando.

4 - Vaqueros y jersey de Köröshi (marox):
Ya van varias visitas en rebajas a esta tienda y en todas he picado con algo. En esta ocasión, con unos vaqueros y un jersey. Los vaqueros se quedaron en 19,99€ y el jersey, creo recordar que 15,99€. Los vaqueros son de la talla 40 y el jersey una... XS, ya que era de tipo oversize.

5 - Maquillaje mineral Sephora (marox): No sé si lo están retirando de tienda para dejarlo sólo online, pero no lo tenían a la vista en el stand y la chica que me atendió lo sacó de un cajón debajo del mueble. Sentiría mucho que lo retiraran porque me encanta, ya sea para utilizarlo sólo en los días en los que no tengo muchas ganas de pintarme pero quiero ir bien o para matificar y dar un tono más cálido a mi CC cream.
¿Conocéis algún otro maquillaje mineral compacto?

6 -  Toallitas quitaesmaltes Sephora (marox): Me parecieron muy prácticas para llevar de viaje -cuando se pueda, que no creo que sea pronto-. Por sólo 2 euros, se vinieron conmigo. No las he estrenado aún.

7 - Gel antibacteriano Sephora (marox):  Andaba buscando uno pequeño, para poder llevar en el bolso. Aprovechando la visita a Sephora, me hice con éste que estaba muy bien situado en la caja. Al ser de almendra, no reseca tanto como otros y huele muy rico.

8- Gel limpiador facial de coco Sephora (Marian).
Me costó 2€ en los precios locos.
Todavía no lo he probado, pero ya sabéis que todo lo que pone "coco" me llama.

9- Chaqueta y pantalones de Koröshi (Marian).
No recuerdo lo que me costaron, pero creo que fueron unos 20€ cada prenda.
La chaqueta ya la he estrenado.
Los pantalones aún no, pero lo haré en breve.

How are you dealing with the lockdown? We are now at least spending it in the same city. Our father had an arrhythmia and spent a few days in hospital. Thankfully he's doing great.
Here we are ready to show you our purchases during this year's sales. It seems like it was a century ago, but better late than never, don't you think?

1 - Nars 'Torrid' Set (marox): This goes to show you can't take me out because I'll do some damage. Marian and I went downtown to see the Christmas decor before it was taken down and to my surprise, that January 5th Sephora already had some sales going. As you see, I got this set, containing a mini blush and lip balm in the shade 'Torrid', which apparently is Orgasm's more badass cousin. It was down to €18.

2 - Harry Potter Women' Secret pyjama (marox): Yes, I did give in again -blame the sales- and got another one. The top part is really warm and cozy. The bottoms were strangely large, nothing that my skilled mum and sister couldn't fix with a sewing machine.
I got these in a size L.

 

3 - Ralph Lauren dress from Zalando Privé (marox): I ordered this in late February with the idea of wearing it to a work dinner party with my female colleagues from Burgos. At €55.90 (I've added in the shipping) this Little Black Dress is a steal. At Inditex prices I have a top-quality piece. This time I ordered a size 38 / US 4, since the last one was a tad too loose. The label only reads 'Dress Black Svet'.
I intend to wear this on my birthday in a couple of days, even if I celebrate it at home, in lockdown.
I can't seem to get a decent picture of it since it's black, so I'm including one from Zalando's website.  

4 - Köröshi Jeans and Jumper (marox): I've been to this shop a few times during different sales and I never walk away empty-handed. The jeans were down to €19.99 and the jumper was €15.99, if memory serves. The jeans were a size 40 and the jumper was in an... XS, since it was an oversize model.

5 - Sephora Pressed Mineral Foundation (marox): I don't know whether they're discontinuing this to leave it as an online-only item, as it was nowhere to be seen in the Sephora counter. When I asked the salesgirl about it, she got it from a bottom drawer she pulled open.
Have you tried any other pressed mineral foundation in case this is indeed being discontinued?

6 - Nail polish remover wipes, Sephora (marox): These seemed really convenient for travel -whenever that is possible again, don't see that happening any time soon-. At only €2, they came home with me.
Haven't had a chance to test them yet.

7 - Antibacterial gel, Sephora (marox): I'd been looking for a pocket antibacterial gel for a while. This was very conveniently located by the checkout at Sephora and since I was there already...
It isn't as drying as others out there, since it contains almond oil and it does have a nice scent to it. 

8- Face coconut cleansing gel, by Sephora (Marian).
I paid €2 for it at the Sephora sales.
I haven't used it yet, but you already know that everything with the word 'coconut' seems to call me.

9- Cardigan and trousers from Koröshi (Marian).
I don't remember what I paid for them, but I think they were about €20 each garment.
I've already used the cardigan, but not the trousers (though I'll be using them soon).

Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2020 (II)

Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 - Perfilador automático Essence azul, tono #09 Cool Down (marox): Ya sabéis que me gustan los perfiladores de ojos únicamente en formato automático. Los de Essence dan muy buen resultado y están disponibles en muchos colores. La mina no se queda dura con el paso del tiempo, cosa que sí me ha pasado con, por ejemplo, los antiguos de Mercadona.

2 - Desodorante Dove sin aluminio, pomelo y hierbalimón (Marox):
Lo compramos en *Primaprix* y a las dos nos ha gustado más la variedad de pepino, ya que irrita menos la piel tras la depilación y protege mejor. Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta de que se trata de desodorantes y no antitranspirantes.

3- Champú de agua de coco de Organics OGX (Marian).
Es totalmente transparente y un poco espeso, lo que quiere decir que con poca cantidad es suficiente.
Deja el pelo hidratado, pero sin sensación grasa.
No descarto repetir con él, aunque de momento he vuelto a los champús sólidos.
A mi hermana se le hizo un poco denso, decía que le dejaba el pelo un poco apelmazado, al tenerlo fino.
Lo compré en una perfumería Arenal.



4- Gel de dermabrasión facial de Origins (Marian).
Es una mini talla que venía en un cracker que compré en los precios locos de Sephora.
Me ha gustado mucho. Tiene un gránulo de un tamaño adecuado para exfoliar la piel sin irritarla.

5- Manteca corporal de haba tonka, de Cien, de venta en Lidl (Marian).
Ya la había probado, y me había gustado mucho, así que volví a comprarla.
Se extiende muy bien en la piel, y la deja hidratada, pero sin sensación grasa.
Por lo visto en febrero han debido tener una nueva linea de granada o goji, que también incluía una manteca corporal, pero a nuestra tienda más cercana no ha llegado.

6 - Serum de ácido hialurónico coreano de Scinic (marox): Un clásico que no puede faltarme, aunque a veces he estado tentada de probar otras marcas. Como siempre, lo compré por Ebay.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties'.

1 - Essence automatic eyeliner pencil in #09 Cool Down (marox): You know that I only use eyeliner pencils that come in a twist-up format. The Essence ones are a great bang for your buck and work great, as well as being available in a wide range of shades. The pencil lead doesn't harden over time, unlike others I've tried, i.e. the old Deliplus -Mercadona ones.

2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant, grapefruit and lemongrass: We got this from Outlet supermarket Primaprix and we both prefer the other scent available, with cucumber extract, since it doesn't irritate the skin after shaving and provides far better protection.
That being said, bear in mind these are just deodorants and not antiperspirants.



3- Organics (Ogx) coconut water shampoo (Marian).
It's totally transparent and the consistency is a bit thick, so a small amount goes a long way.
It leaves your hair moisturised, but without a greasy feeling.
I will probably repurchase it in the future, but now I'm using shampoo bars again.
My sister said it was a bit too thick and heavy for her thin hair. 
I bought this at Arenal drugstores.

4- Origins 'Modern Friction' dermabrasion gel (Marian).
It's a mini size included in a cracker I bought at the Sephora sales.
I like it very much. Its exfoliating particles are the right size to gently scrub the skin on your face without irritating it.



5- Tonka bean body butter by Cien (sold at Lidl supermarkets) (Marian).
I've already used it before, and I liked it, so I bought it again.
It's very easy to apply, and leaves your skin moisturized, but not greasy. 
Lidl supermarkets apparently had in February another range based on pomegranate or goji which included a body butter, but it was nowhere to be seen at our nearest supermarket. 

6 - Scinic hyaluronic acid ampoule (marox): It's a staple in my skincare routine, although I've been tempted to try out other ones a few times. As always, I got this off Ebay.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2019 (III)

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.

1 -  Mascarilla Tissú Hanskin de baba de caracol (marox): Compré un pack de mascarillas de esta variedad en Ebay. Venían muy impregnadas, tanto que me ha sobrado esencia (cerrando el sobre y guardado en la nevera) para varios días. Dejan la piel suave y hidratada.

2 - Mascarilla Tissú Baviphat de granada (marox): Compré esta mascarilla en Druni. Tenían un montón de variedades. La última vez que estuve casi no tenían, no sé por qué. Quiero pensar que estaban esperando más y que no dejarán de traer cosmética coreana.
En cuanto a esta mascarilla, venía también tan impregnada que me sobró esencia para otro par de días. Noté la piel más hidratada.

3- Crema de coco para cabello rizado de Desert Essence (Marian).
Queda todavía algo de producto, pero es difícil conseguir que salga, pues tiene textura de crema.
Aunque me ha gustado, de momento no repetiré con él, porque he vuelto a mi querido Potion 9 de Sebastian.



4- Cuarteto de sombras de Carlo di Roma (Marian).
No sé cuántos años hace que compré este cuarteto, y como veis, las sombras que más he usado han sido las grises.
A pesar de lo baratas que son estas sombras, pigmentan bastante bien.

5- Dúo de coloretes de Sephora (Marian).
Este producto fue un regalo de Sephora por mi cumpleaños.
Lo he estado usando todos los días, hasta que ha dejado de pigmentar.
Como veis, todavía queda producto, pero no pigmenta ni frotando con el dedo.
Así que llegó el momento de jubilarlo.



6- Contorno de ojos (Marian).
Compré esta crema para el contorno de ojos en un mercado medieval, en uno de esos típicos puestos de cosmética natural.
Lo he usado mucho, y me ha gustado cómo deja la zona de la ojera, muy hidratada.
Todavía queda algo de producto, pero como suele pasar con los productos naturales, ha empezado a enranciarse, así que sintiéndolo mucho, a la basura.
Traía 30 ml, que considero que es mucha cantidad para un producto de este tipo y con una composición natural.

7- Sombras de Chanel (Marian).
Estas dos sombras eran lo que me quedó de un cuarteto que compré hace un porrón de años. Gasté dos en su momento, y las otras dos las depoté en esta cajita que veis, y las he seguido usando hasta ahora.
Una la he terminado y la otra ha dejado de pigmentar, así que ya cumplieron su función.



Bien, estos han sido nuestros terminados.
La verdad es que nos encanta cuando vamos terminando productos de maquillaje: sombras, coloretes...
Y es que de vez en cuando hay que hacer un poco de "limpieza".

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 -  Hanskin Snail Mucin Sheet Mask (marox): I bought a pack of these snail masks on Ebay. They come drenched in essence, so there was enough leftover for a couple more applications (I kept mine closed and refrigerated). My skin felt soft and moisturized.


2 - Baviphat Pomegranate Juicy Sheet Mask (marox):
 I bought this sheet mask at a local drugstore, Druni. They had large selection of sheet masks from this brand and others, unlike the last time I was there. I'd like to think they were out of stock and not that they'll stop having K-Beauty.
As for this, again this was drenched in essence and had leftover serum for a couple more days. My skin felt more hydrated.



3- Desert Essence Coconut Curly Hair Cream (Marian).
There's still some product left, but it's hard to squeeze it out given its creamy texture.
Although I liked it, I won't repurchase for the time being, because I've gone back to my beloved Sebastian's Potion 9.

4- Carlo di Roma Eyeshadow Quad (Marian).
I don't even know how old this quad is and as you can telll from the pic, the shades I used the most were the grey ones. .
Despite the cheap price, they're really well pigmented.



5- Sephora Blush Duo (Marian).
This was a birthday gift with my Sephora Club Card.
I used it everyday, until there was no colour payoff.
As you can see, there's still some left, but I cannot make it work, not even rubbing my finger repeatedly, so it's time to throw it away.

6- Eye Contour Cream (Marian).
I bought this at a local medieval fair, from a stall selling homemade skincare.
I used it a lot and I liked how hydrated my undereye area was.
There's a bit left, but as usually happens with natural products, it's become rancid and must be thrown away.
It contained 30 ml, which is perhaps too much for natural skincare with safe ingredients.



7- Chanel Eyeshadows (Marian).
These two eyeshadows were what was left of a quad I bought when I first started wearing  makeup. I used up two shades a long time ago and the remaining ones were transferred to this box, which is how I was using them since then.
I did use up one, but I could no longer get any pigment out of the other one, so I can safely say they did their job.

Well, those were our latest Empties.
We love it when we use up an assortment of makeup products: eyeshadows, blushes, etc.
And every now and then it's a good idea to do some decluttering.

Compras Rebajas / Sales Haul 2019 (II)

Hola de nuevo, chicas:

En esta segunda entrega os enseñamos las compras de belleza y maquillaje durante el periodo de rebajas -si bien no todo estaba rebajado-.

Comenzamos con las compritas en Sephora:

1 - Neceser con minitallas de Belif (marox): Hablan tan bien de esta marca que este neceser era una buena oportunidad para probar cinco de sus productos más conocidos. Algunos productos son engañosos con el tamaño, como son los tarritos, con 5 y 10 ml respectivamente.
Aún no los he probado. Lo ideal sería hacerlo en un viaje, pero me conozco y seguro que luego no me los llevo.

2 - Mascarilla arcilla rosa Sephora (marox): En su día compré la morada -de la que aún me queda bastante- porque no tenían la rosa. Me gusta porque no se seca del todo y deja la piel hidratada. El formato me parece fantástico y da para mucho más que los 4 usos que pone. Al menos a mí, que me gusta aplicar una capa fina de producto. 

3 - Mascarilla tissú matificante anti-imperfecciones de té verde (marox): Como últimamente me ha dado por este formato de mascarillas, encontré una rebajada, como véis en la foto. No entiendo por qué las demás no estaban rebajadas. Además, en la web suelen tener más rebajas. En fin, supongo que las ofertas no coinciden y siempre podemos coger unas cosas en tienda y otras en la web.
No la he usado aún. Está fabricada en Taiwán, y como es habitual allí, la mascarilla va protegida por una película que hay que retirar.
Realmente no tengo muchos brillos ni imperfecciones en la piel, así que quizá se la ceda a mi hermana.

Y ahora viene la compra capricho. **Redoble de tambor**

4 - Set minitallas iluminador y colorete de Nars (marox):  Me apetecía hacerme con un iluminador bonito. Como no pude hacerme con el de Nyx en polvo que vino hace poco con una revista ni tampoco en tienda con el de WetnWild -ambos con muy buenas opiniones- vi este set que la marca lanzó por Navidad. Son los tonos Dolce Vita y Capri.
Hubo un pequeño percance: el iluminador vino roto, totalmente desprendido del "pan" y Marian tuvo que descambiarlo por otro kit.
Ya los he usado y la verdad es que quedan preciosos. El tamaño está muy bien para ser una minitalla.

5- Cracker de Origins (Marian).
Incluye 6 minitallas de estos productos:
*Contorno de ojos refrescante.
*Tratamiento de manos rejuvenecedor.
*Espuma limpiadora facial.
*Gel hidratante energizante.
*Gel dermoabrasión suave.
*Mascarilla de carbón activado.



Todavía no los he estrenado, pero tienen muy buena pinta todos.
Me costó 25€.

6- Mascarilla facial de arándanos, de Skin Food (Marian).
Ya sabéis lo mucho que nos gusta la cosmética coreana.
Así que quise aprovechar los precios locos de Sephora para hacerme con esta mascarilla.
Todavía no la he estrenado, porque tengo varias en uso, y quiero ir terminando productos.

Con nuestra compra, nos dieron varias muestras, todas de su marca: un minitinte labial, unas toallitas exfoliantes y un maquillaje.

In this second and last installment we're sharing with you all the beauty and makeup items we bought during the sales season. Mind you, not everything was discounted.

Let's start with our Sephora Haul, shall we?

1 - Belif  'Bestsellers on-the-go travel kit' (marox): Everyone seems to rave about this brand, so this kit seemed a good way to try five of their bestselling items.
The size of some of them is a bit misleading, like the jars which are only 5 and 10 ml respectively.
Haven't tried any of them just yet. The best thing would be using them for travel, but knowing myself I may end up forgetting and getting my usual products instead.

2 - Sephora Pink Clay Mask (marox): Some time ago I got the purple one because this one was sold out. I like the fact that they don't dry out completely and leave your skin plump and moisturized. I think the format is incredibly convenient and I can stretch a lot beyond the stated 4 uses. At least I can, since I like to apply thinnish layers of face masks.

 3 - Green Tea Mattifying & anti-blemish Sheet Mask (marox): I've jumped into the sheet mask bandwagon lately and found this lonely mask on sale. I don't really understand why they didn't do the same with the others. Besides, in-store sales at Sephora are different (i.e. worse) than those online. I guess their sales don't match up and one can always get some things in-store and others on their website.
It's made in Taiwan and like most Taiwanese sheet masks these come with a protective film you need to peel off before using.
I don't really have oily or blemish-prone skin, so I may give this to my sister. 

And now comes what I splurged in. **Drumroll**

 4- Travel-sized Highlighter and Blush kit from Nars (marox): I really wanted to get a nice highlighter. Since I was unable to get my hands neither on the powder Nyx one that came as a recent freebie with a Spanish magazine nor on the WetnWild one -both with excellent reviews- I saw this lovely set that Nars put out for Christmas, including the shades Dolce Vita and Capri.
There was a small setback: the highlighter in the kit was broken, completely separated from the pan and Marian had to take it back and get a new one.
I've used them both and they're gorgeous. They look great on the skin and the size is decent enough for a travel product.

5- Origins cracker (Marian).
It includes 6 minisize products:
*Refreshing eye cream to brighten and depuff.
*Rejuvenating hand treatment.
*Frothy face wash.
*Energy-boosting gel moisturizer.
*Nature's Gentle dermabrasion.
*Active charcoal pore-clearing mask.

I haven't used them yet, but they all look great.
I paid €25.

6- Cranberry face mask, from Skin Food (Marian).
You already know how much we like Korean skincare.
So I wanted to make the most of the Sephora sales (called Crazy Prices here in Spain), and bought this mask.
I haven't used it yet, because I still have some in use, and I'd like to use stuff up.



Together with our purchase, we got some samples from their brand: a mini lip stain, exfoliating wipes and make-up.
