Comprando de nuevo en The Body Shop / Another The Body Shop Haul

¡Hola chicas!
¿Os apetece ver lo que nos pedimos aprovechando las rebajas de The Body Shop?

Podéis ver un adelanto en esta foto, y a continuación, os hablamos de los productos.

1- Bruma corporal de moringa (Marian).
Me encanta este olor. Creo que es mi gama favorita de la marca. Primero usaré los de Victoria's Secret que me regaló Marox.
Se me ocurre otro uso, aparte del habitual, que puedo darle a esta bruma. ¿Qué os parece usarlo como bruma de almohada? Suena bien, ¿a que sí?
Tenían un 20% en los productos no rebajados, así que la compramos por 8€ en lugar de 10.



2- Jabón de moringa (Marian).
Como os podéis imaginar, éste también tenía que ser para mí. Además, como este tipo de jabones dura muchísimo, tanto mejor.
Tengo todavía muchos jabones por estrenar, así que no sé cuándo lo empezaré.
Costó 2,80€, gracias al descuento del 20% del que os hablaba antes.

3- Jabón de nuez de Brasil (Marox).
Lo que me encantaría probar de esta gama es la manteca corporal, pero nunca la encuentro (ni en la web ni en tienda física).
Seguro que también estará muy bien. Ya os contaré cuando lo estrene.
Me costó 2€, puesto que estaba rebajado. Me gustó tanto el de chocolate que probé que incluso los 3,50€ que vale este jabón normalmente me parece razonable.



4- Manteca corporal de frambuesa (Marian).
Después del olor de la gama de moringa, los olores que más me gustan son los afrutados, así que creo que habré acertado eligiendo esta manteca. Nos costó 9€ rebajada, aunque después la pusieron al 70%.

5- Manteca corporal de amapola "Smoky Poppy" (Marox).
Dice Marian que el olor de esta manteca le recuerda al perfume "Opium" de YSL.
Teniendo en cuenta que el opio se extrae de la amapola, tiene sentido.
Espero no "chutarme" con esta manteca y que es de esos olores que o te encanta, o aborreces. La primera impresión ha sido buena... Lo único que busco es que sea hidratante, no vayáis a pensar mal. Costó 9€ también, aunque no sé si la encontraréis ya en las tiendas puesto que era de edición limitada.

Want to take a look at what we bought during the sales at The Body Shop?

Here's a sneak peek and then we'll tell you our first impressions of what we bought.



1 - Moringa Body Mist (Marian): I totally dig this scent. I'd say it's my favourite from the brand. I'll use the VS body mists that I got from Marox first. Now that I think of it, there's an alternative use for these. How about using it as a pillow mist? Sounds good, doesn't it?
We jumped at the 20% off offer they had on non-discounted items and bought this for 8€ instead of 10.

2 - Moringa Soap Bar (Marian). As you can imagine, this had to mine too. Besides, these last a good while, so all the better that way. I still have a lot of unused soaps, so I don't really know when I'll really get to use this one.
It cost €2.80, thanks again to the additional 20% off offer the store had and that I mentioned earlier.



3 - Brazil Nut Soap Bar (Marox). What I'd really love to try is the body butter, but I can never find it on my visits to the store (neither online to the brick & mortar one). I'm sure it's great, but I'll let you know as soon as I get the chance to try it.
I paid 2 EUR, since it was for sale. I liked the chocomania one so much that even the 3.50 EUR this costs without the discount sounds like a pretty good deal to me.

4 - Raspberry Body Butter (Marian). My second favourite scent after the Moringa range are fruity ones, so I think this looks like a good choice. We paid 9 EUR for this during their sales, though I know for a fact that it was sold 70% off later.



5 -  'Smoky Poppy' Body Butter (Marox). Marian says that the scent of this reminds her of the perfume 'Opium' by YSL, and considering opium is obtained from poppies, that really makes sense.
I hope not to get stoned or anything with this thing, lol. They say it's one of those love-it-or-hate-it scents. The first impression for me was positive... but what I usually go for when looking at body butters is that they're moisturising enough. Don't get me wrong, lol.
This was €9 as well, though I'm not entirely sure that you'll be able to find it now as it was a limited edition range.

TheBodyShop is affiliated with Beruby, a cashback site in Spain. I had to claim mine, as it was not in my account after a few days.

Productos Terminados #39 / 'Finito' Products #39.

Hi girls,

Bienvenidas a una nueva entrega de productos terminados.

1 - Bálsamo labial 'Yes To' de bayas: (marox) Lo he llevado en el bolso durante bastante tiempo. Es agradable de usar y no me costó caro (lo compré en los Precios Locos, si mal no recuerdo), aunque el mecanismo falló y lo doy por terminado aunque aún quedaba un poco.



2 - Desmaquillante de ojos casero (marox): Lo estaba usando muy esporádicamente y estaba un poco feo, además de que el bote dispensador dejó de funcionar (lo compré en Buyincoins). Ahora mismo estoy usando el agua micelar de Garnier.

3 - Recambios cepillos Oral B: Como sabéis, los compramos en el mercadillo local por 5€ los paquetes de 2 recambios y 8€ los de 3. Son los modelos Dual Clean (marox, izquierda) y Trizone (Marian, derecha). Estamos encantadas con nuestros cepillos eléctricos, así que los seguiremos comprando. 



4 - Crema reparadora de grietas para pies de Sairo (Marian).
Ni me acuerdo de cuándo compré esta crema, pero sé que la compré en Alcampo (algo es algo).
La he tenido olvidada en el cajón bastante tiempo. Y es que sólo me acuerdo de hidratar mis talones en verano, y cuando llevo sandalias, que es cuando más se resecan.
Hace unos días decidí mimar un poco mis pies y ya quedaba tan poquito de esta crema que la terminé.
Hay que tener un poco de cuidado al aplicarla, porque después te puedes resbalar.
Salvo eso, nada que objetar.
No sé por cuál me decidiré ahora.

5 - Jabón natural de jazmín (Marox).
Compré este jabón en una feria de artesanía hace un par de años, creo.
Lo mejor, su olor.
Tanto es así, que Marian, después de hacer la foto a la cajita, ha decidido dejarla abierta (con los restitos de jabón que quedaban) en su armario para que se lo perfume.
Lo peor, que hacía poca espuma y enseguida se rompía en trozos pequeños, así que no repetiré, ya que los de TBS me han parecido fabulosos.

Welcome to another installment of our 'Empties' series.

1 - 'Yes To' Berry Lipbalm: (marox). I've had this in my purse for a good while. It's a nice product and it's value for money, as I bought it at the Sephora Sales. The twist up thingy stopped working, so I'm considering it as Empty even though there's still some product left.

2 - DIY eye makeup remover (marox): I was using this only once in a while and it was looking a bit gross. Besides, the pump dispenser no longer works (I purchased this at BIC). I'm currently using Garnier's micellar cleansing water.



3 - Oral B brush head replacements: As you know, we usually get these from the local flea market for €5 per 2-pack and €8 per 3-pack. These are the Dual Clean (marox, left) and Trizone (Marian, right) brush heads. We're delighted with our electric toothbrushes and needless to say we'll repurchase.

4 - Foot repairing cream from Sairo (Marian).
I can't remember when I bought this cream, but I do know where (Alcampo, a shopping mall).
I forgot it somewhere in a drawer for quite a long time. I only remember to moisturize my feet in the summertime, when I wear sandals, because it's when the skin of my feet gets dry the most.
Some days ago I decided to pamper my feet. There was a little bit amount of this cream left, so I finally used it up.
I have to be very careful when applying it, because after that, you can slip off.
Except that fact, nothing to complain about.
I don't know yet which one I'll be using from now on.



5 - Jasmine natural soap (Marox).
I got it in a crafts fair two years ago, I think.
The best is its scent.
In fact, after taking the picture of the box, Marian decided to leave it opened (with the tiny pieces of the soap in it) inside her wardrobe.
The worst thing of it is that it made just a little foam, and it broke easily into small pieces. That being said, I won't repurchase, as TBS ones were awesome imo.

Hazlo tú: Jabón de glicerina, aceite de oliva, aloe vera y manzanilla -DIY: glicerin, olive oil, aloe vera and chamomile soap.

Hola, chicas:

Aquí os traemos otro "Hazlo tú", que sé que os gustan.
Hemos hecho nuestra propia versión de la receta original, que encontramos *aquí*.

Para hacer esta receta necesitaréis:

*Una pastilla de jabón de glicerina.
*Media hoja de aloe vera (la pulpa).
*70 ml de aceite de oliva virgen extra.
*60 ml de agua (para hacer la infusión).
*Un poco de manzanilla.
*Un buen chorro de miel.

En primer lugar, disculpad que no haya foto de todos los ingredientes. Os juro que los preparé todos para hacer la foto, pero luego se me olvidó.

Haced la infusión de manzanilla.
Mientras tanto, fundid el jabón de glicerina. Cortadlo primero en cuadraditos y poned en un recipiente que pueda ir al microondas. Vigilad que no hierva.

Añadimos la miel, la pulpa de aloe vera, la infusión y el aceite de oliva. Batid con la minipimer.



Para dar forma a las pastillas de jabón, meted la mezcla en moldes de silicona, y dejad enfriar.
Para que os hagáis una idea, los hice por la tarde, y los dejé enfriando toda la noche.
Al día siguiente, los desmoldé.

Han quedado monísimos. Ya nos contaréis cómo os han quedado si los hacéis.

Hi girls,

Here we are with a new DIY, because I know you like them.
We've made our own version from the original recipe, which you can find *here*.

To make this recipe you will need:

*A bar of glicerin soap.
*1/2 leaf of aloe vera (the pulp).
*70 ml of extra virgin olive oil.
*60 ml of water.
*A bit of chamomile.
*A good stir of honey.

First of all, forgive me because I forgot to take a picture of all the ingredients together. I swear that I prepared everyting for the pic, but then I forgot.

Make the chamomile tea.
Meanwhile, melt the glicerin soap.
Cut it first into small squares and put in a microwave safe bowl.
Make sure it doesn't boil.



Add the honey, the aloe vera pulp, the tea and the olive oil. Mix with a blender.

To give your soap bars a cute shape, pour the mixture into silicone moulds, and let it cool.
To give you an overview, I made them in the evening, and I let them cool overnight.
I unmolded them the following day.

They're super cool. Tell us how they turn out if you finally make them.

Pedido a The Body Shop / The Body Shop Haul

Hi girls,

Aprovechamos que durante 72h la tienda online de The Body Shop puso descuentos de hasta el 50% en una selección de artículos para hacernos con algunos productos.
Hice el pedido el día 28 de diciembre y llegó el 7 de enero al punto de recogida escogido por mí. Me llegó un mensaje al móvil para indicarme que podía recogerlo cuando quisiera.

Esto es lo que pedimos:

1 -  Manteca Corporal de Vainilla Brulée de edición limitada: 9€ (precio normal, 16€). No la usaré aún, ya que prefiero ir usando las que tengo compradas de antes, no vaya a ser que se estropeen. No hace falta decir que huele delicioso. Yo creo que el de vainilla es un aroma básico que toda marca debería tener en su gama permanente. ¿No os parece?

2 - Manteca Corporal de Arándano Escarchado de edición limitada:9€ (precio normal, 16€). Marian se quedará con esta manteca, aunque amenazo con probarla cuando esté de visita en su casa.

3 - Jabón de vainilla brulée: 2€ (precio normal, 6€) Contiene 100 gr. El complemento perfecto a la manteca de la misma linea. Ahora mismo estoy gastando el de chocolate entre semana y la verdad es que es muy agradable y cremosito. Aunque a precio normal no los compraría, estando rebajados a ese precio merece la pena añadir alguno a la cesta si sois más de usar jabón sólido que gel.

4 - Jabón de arándano escarchado de edición limitada: 2€ (precio normal, 6€) Contiene 100 gr también.
Me gustaría usarlo a la vez que la manteca, pero no sé si será posible, ya que los jabones me duran más que las mantecas, y acabo de estrenar el jabón de Chocomanía de TBS, de un pedido anterior.

5 - Jabón de manzana glaseada: 2€ (precio normal, 6€). Contiene 100 gr.

6 - Exfoliante corporal chocomanía (50ml): Rebajado a 2,25€ (precio normal, 5€) Aún así, sale carete, pero en otros pedidos cuando el de tamaño grande ha estado rebajado, justo estaba agotado, así que así al menos me quito la espinita de probarlo y repetir con él si me gusta en formato grande. De momento sólo lo he usado una vez y lo cierto es que quería probarlo antes de terminar el jabón y manteca de la misma gama y quería probarlos juntos. Se nota más la acción exfoliante si se aplica con la piel seca, pero esperaré a usarlo más para formarme una opinión más concreta.
No viene precintado y sospecho que fue éste producto el que se derramó un poquito.

Estas han sido nuestras compras en The Body Shop, y ya os adelantamos que no han sido las últimas.

We jumped at the chance to place a new order at TBS online store, as they had a selection of items 50% off for 72 hours. That way we could restock on some products.
I placed my order on December 28th and it came on January 7th to the delivery point I had previously selected. I got an e-mail telling me I could collect my package there anytime.

This is what we ordered:

1 - Vanilla Brulée Body Butter (LE): 9 EUR instead of the usual 16 EUR. I will not be using it yet, as I'd rather use the ones I'd purchased in previous orders. I don't want them to go off or anything. Needless to say it smells heavenly. I'd say all deserving brands should stock vanilla-scented products permanently, don't you agree? It's a staple scent, after all.

2 - Frosted Cranberry Body Butter (LE): 9 EUR instead of the usual 16 EUR. Marian will keep this, though I've threatened her to use it too whenever I'm staying at her place.

3 - LE Vanilla Brulée Soap Bar: 2 EUR, instead of the usual 6. It contains 100 gr and will be the perfect companion to the body butter from said range. I'm using the chocomania soap bar during the week and it's very creamy and pleasant to use. I wouldn't pay full price for these, but I'd definitely add some to your shopping basket if you prefer beauty bars to shower gels.

4 - LE Frosted Cranberry Soap Bar: 2 EUR, instead of the usual 6. Contains 100 gr and will be a match made in heaven for the body butter Marian ordered.
I'd like to use it at the same time as the body butter, but I don't know if this will be possible, as soap bars last longer than body butters, and I've just used for the first time the TBS soap bar from the 'Chocomania' range that came with an earlier order.



5 - LE Glazed Apple Soap Bar: 2 EUR, instead of the usual 6. It contains 100 gr.

6 - Chocolate Body Scrub (mini size, 50 ml): Discounted off to 2,25 EUR (usually retails at 5 EUR). Sales and all, it's pricey, but everytime I've placed an order during the TBS sales it was sold out, so at least I can get if off my chest and get the full sized tub next time it's in stock (and hopefully, 50% off).
I've only used it once and I wanted to do so before I use up the soap bar and body butter from the same range so I could see how the different products worked together. The exfoliation is more noticeable if applied on dry skin, but like I said, I should wait until I've used it more thoroughly to get a proper impression.
It isn't sealed and I suspect this was the tub that caused a minor spill.

These have been our purchases at The Body Shop, and we can already say that there are more to come.

Pedido a The Body Shop / The Body Shop online Haul

Como no tenemos tienda de The Body Shop por aquí, decidí registrarme en la web, básicamente para estar informada de futuras promociones.

A finales de junio me llegó un mail informándome de su última oferta: muchas de sus famosas mantecas estaban a mitad de precio. Era la excusa perfecta para que Marian y yo nos hiciéramos con algunas de ellas y comprobar a qué se debía tanto revuelo, jeje.

Tras un par de días ojeando la web, decidimos pedir los siguientes artículos.

Aquí tenéis la foto de familia, jeje.

Esto fue lo que pedimos.

1 - Manteca corporal de almendras (marox): Es la única que hemos probado de momento. Huele como a turrón, jeje. Hidrata mucho mejor que la mayoría de las que hemos probado (Mercadona, etc) y aplicada sobre la piel húmeda, con poca cantidad es suficiente. El envase es robusto.

2 - Manteca corporal de arándano azul de Edición Limitada: (marox): Rebuscando entre las mantecas corporales que estaban rebajadas, nos encontramos con ésta, que aún no he probado.
Sí os puedo decir que al abrirla tiene un olorcito muy agradable e imagino que hidrate igual de bien que la anterior.

3 - Manteca corporal de arándano azul: (Marian). A diferencia de la anterior, se supone que ésta es de colección fija, aunque viendo los ingredientes, parece igual que la anterior. Se la queda Marian.

4- Manteca corporal de papaya (Marian).
Empecé a usarla hace unos días. Me encanta el olor que deja en la piel. Tiene textura de manteca (de lo que es), y me gusta cómo deja la piel de hidratada, y que se absorbe rápidamente.
No he tenido problemas para extenderla, a pesar de su textura.

5 - Jabón de chocolate 'Chocomania': Nos pedimos dos de estos jabones, que con el descuento se quedaban a muy buen precio. No son tan conocidos como las mantecas, así que a ver qué tal van.

6 - Bálsamos labiales 'Born Lippy': Básicamente los pedimos para llegar al importe necesario para el envío a domicilio gratuito. Nunca está de más tener alguno en el bolso y por casa, ¿verdad? Sobre todo si salen a buen precio.

El único problema con el pedido se debió al envío, ya que lo transporta una agencia extranjera, *DPD*, que en España gestiona Seur. ¡Menos mal que estuve al loro! Os cuento: la dirección de entrega era en una zona de nueva construcción que los repartidores aún no controlan, en el paso de DPD a Seur anotaron mal el teléfono de contacto, no dejaron aviso... Total, que al hacer el seguimiento online vi que figuraba como "Reparto Fallido" o algo así. Gracias a San Google averigué que los envíos de DPD los llevaba Seur y llamé por teléfono a la oficina a ver si ellos me aclaraban algo. Finalmente, me acerqué por una de sus oficinas a recogerlo.

Si como a nosotras, aún no habéis probado los productos de The Body Shop, os animo a que os registréis en su web para estar informadas de las ofertas.
Ya os adelanto que picamos también con las "Segundas Rebajas hasta el 70%". Pero eso lo dejo para otra entrada.

Hi, my lovelies!

Since there is no local The Body Shop store, I decided to register at their online shop, basically to get updates on interesting offers.

Late in June I had an email from them in my mailbox with their latest offer: many of their famous body butters were 50% off, so I decided it was the perfect time for Marian and myself to get our greeding hands on them for the first time and see what the fuss was all about, lol.

A couple of days were spent exploring their online store and we placed an order for the following items.

Here's the family portrait, lol.

And this is what we ordered.


1 - Almond Body Butter: (marox) it's the only one we've tried so far. It smells like nougat, lol. It's more moisturising than most body butters we've tried (i.e. the ones from Mercadona and others). If applied onto damp skin, a little will go a long way. The tub is sturdy too. 

2 - Limited Edition Blueberry Body Butter: (marox): While browsing through the discounted body butters, I got to this one and added it to my shopping cart. I haven't used it yet though it smells nice enough and I suppose it will be as moisturising as the previous one.


3 - Blueberry Body Butter: (marian). This one is supposed to be part of their permanent range, though judging by the ingredient list it seems to be the same as the other one.

4- Papaya body butter (Marian).
I began using it a few days ago. I love the scent it leaves on the skin. It has a buttery texture (hardly surprising, right?), and I like how it moisturizes the skin and how easily it absorbs.
I haven't had any problems spreading it despite its texture.


5 - 'Chocomania' chocolate soap bar: We ordered two of this, as they were very reasonably priced with the sale. They're not as featured and popular as their body butters, so let's see if they're any good.

6 - 'Born Lippy' Lip Balms: We ordered some to basically qualify for free home delivery. It's always a good idea to keep one in your purse and at home, so why not get some cut-price.

Our only criticism with the service has to do with delivery. These are sent from abroad using a foreign carrier, *DPD*, that uses a local delivery agent in Spain, Seur. It's just as well I was keeping an eye on this package! You see, it turns out the delivery address is in a fairly new part of town the delivery people are not yet familiar with. They made a mess with my phone number and didn't leave a 'Sorry you were out' note either... Imagine my surprise when I tracked the parcel and saw 'Failed Delivery'. I had to do some online searching - God Bless Google- to figure out which company was handling the package in Spain, and phoned the local office to enquire about this mess.
I eventually agreed to collect the parcel myself from one of their offices.

If you are, like us, one of those rare cases who have not had the fortune to try any TBS products yet, I suggest you sign up for their newsletter to be posted on their offers.
Let us just tell you that we jumped at the chance to get something else during their final sale, where certain products were up to 70% off. But we'll leave that for a forthcoming post.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul

¿Os apetece echar un vistazo a las últimas cosas que hemos comprado? Pues seguid leyendo.

1- En primer lugar, en una visita a nuestra tierra, marox descubrió en Bodybell unos productos de una marca griega tipo Korres con muy buena pinta, así que compró sendos exfoliantes corporales. El de coco, ni que decir tiene que es para Marian y ella se quedará con el de sándalo. El precio fue de 4,90€ cada uno y traen 200ml.
La marca es Bodyfarm, nacida en la isla de Creta (¡qué recuerdos!) a finales de los 80 y sus productos no contienen parabenos, aceites minerales, etc. Desconozco si la marca se vende en todos los Bodybell o no.




2- Perfume de equivalencia #23 (= Lolita Lempicka) de "La Botica de los Perfumes". Os enseñé en una entrada de productos terminados el frasco vacío, y como decidí repetir, pues símplemente pedí que me lo rellenaran, puesto que los perfumes se venden a granel, en unas botellas con grifo. Es bastante curioso, la verdad. Nos sellaron la tarjeta de fidelidad de la tienda y cuando esté completa, una fragancia nos saldrá gratis.

3- Placas de estampación de Essence: Vi tres modelos nuevos, de los que sólo me llevé los dos que más me gustaron. Aún no las he estrenado, pero imagino que funcionarán igual de bien que otras placas de Essence. Precio: 1,99€ cada una.

4- Gel de aloe vera de NAAY:
Marian se lo encargó a Marox cuando fue a Zamora, porque le encantó la primera vez que lo probó.
Es perfecto para aliviar la irritación después de la depilación o de tomar el sol.
Además, es 99% aloe vera puro, y no contiene alcohol.



5- Champú "El gran suave" de Bubbly/ Bodyline:
Otro encargo de Marian para Marox.
Como sabéis, no solemos usar otro tipo de champús, así que siempre nos gusta tener al menos otro en la recámara.

6- Jabones artesanos de aceite de oliva. Comprado en una feria de artesanía local.
Otra cosa que nos gusta tener siempre, porque como también sabréis, tampoco usamos gel de ducha normalmente.
Ni que decir tiene que el de coco es para Marian y el otro para Marox.
El de "Mar adentro" contiene algas y barros del Mar Muerto, y está indicado para aliviar afecciones de la piel, como por ejemplo, la psoriasis (esa que tenemos las dos).



7- Mini spray desodorante de Sephora:
Esta fue una adquisición de los precios locos. Nos pareció una minitalla de lo más curioso, y pensando en ese viaje que haremos en nuestras próximas vacaciones y del que ya os hablaremos en su momento (como siempre hacemos), nos vendrá muy bien.
Además, no contiene sales de aluminio (cosa que últimamente miramos mucho).

8- Manteca labial de menta de Yes to Carrots, también de Sephora:
Esto ya no era de los precios locos, pero desde que Marian probó una de estas mantecas que tenía Marox, decidió que tenía que comprar una.
Le encanta la sensación de hidratación que deja en los labios, sin dejarlos pegajosos.

Bueno, estas han sido nuestras últimas compras potinguiles hasta el momento.

1- First of all, on a visit to our hometown, marox discovered a new brand at Bodybell drugstores. It's a Greek brand, similar to Korres and found it tempting enough to buy a couple of body scrubs to try out. The coconut scented one will needless to say be for Marian, whereas she will keep the sandalwood one. They were €4.90 each and contain 200ml of products. The brand's name is Bodyfarm and is based in the island of Crete (mmm, brings me good memories!) and was founded in the late 80's.  Their products are free of parabens, mineral oils and other chemical ingredients. I have no idea if the brand is for sale on all Bodybell stores.



2- Imitation perfume #23 (= Lolita Lempicka) from 'La Botica de los Perfumes'. We showed you on a recent Finito post the empty bottle and since I chose the same fragrance, I simply asked for my bottle to be refilled. Perfumes in the store come in large bottles with a small tap. It's certainly different! They put a new stamp on our club card and once it's full, we'll get one perfume for free.

3-  Essence stamping plates: They had three new different plates, but I only got the two that caught my eye the most. I haven't played with them yet, but I guess they'll work just as fine as other Essence plates. Price: €1.99/each.



4- Aloe vera gel from NAAY:
Marian asked Marox to buy one for her when Marox went to Zamora, because she loved this item the first time she tried it.
It´s perfect to relieve skin irritation after epilation or sunbathing.
Besides, it's 99% pure aloe vera, and it doesn't contain alcohol.

5- 'Big Softy' shampoo bar from Bubbly/Bodyline:
Another order for Marox from Marian.
As you know, we don't usually use any other shampoo, so that's why we like having at least another one as backup.



6- Hand-made soaps made of olive oil, purchased at a local crafts fair.
This is something else we like having as backup, because as you also know, we don't use shower gel either.
The 'Mar adentro' soap ('Out to sea') contains seaweed and mud from The Dead Sea, and it's indicated for the relief of skin problems, such as psoriasis (that we both have), for example. Needless to say, Marian will keep the coconut scented one and marox the other.

7- Mini deodorant spray from Sephora:
This was bought at the Crazy Prices sales.
We thought it was a very nice mini sized item, and we bought it having our next trip abroad in mind. We'll tell you about that when the time comes (as we always do). We think it's a good purchase.
Besides, it doesn't contain aluminium chlorohydrate and things like that (we usually care about that kind of things).



8- Mint lip butter from Yes to Carrots, also from Sephora:
This wasn't bought at the crazy prices sales, but once Marian tried the one Marox has,  she decided she had to buy one for herself.
She loves the moisturizing feeling it leaves on the lips without that uncomfortable sticky feeling.



Well, these have been all our make-up related purchases so far.

Compras varias acumuladas - Sundry haul.

Hola, chicas:
Aquí venimos de nuevo con otra entrega de nuestras últimas compras de cosmética (bueno, a día de hoy, ya no son las últimas) en Carrefour, Douglas y Sephora.
Creo que es la vez que más productos de cosmética hemos comprado en un solo día.

Empezamos con las de Carrefour.
Hace poco tiempo han renovado la línea de productos de cosmética de su marca propia, y decidimos traernos a casa un spray corporal con olor a té verde. Sabéis que este tipo de productos nos encantan, así que de una marca o de otra, siempre tenemos alguno.
También habían traído un montón de productos de la marca Lixoné. Hasta ahora, sólo conocíamos el jabón de azufre para pieles grasas, que últimamente Marox me traía de "contrabando", pues por aquí no lo encontraba... hasta ahora.
Pero como había tantos tipos de jabones a elegir y el de azufre ya lo conocía, me decidí por los de sales del mar Muerto y arcilla.
Además, tenían una promoción 2x1 en el gel anticelulítico, que también nos trajimos a casa.

Sin salir del Centro Comercial, nos pasamos por Douglas. Allí compré esta crema concentrada anti-manchas, de la marca GoodSkin Labs. Y es que tengo una mancha bastante grande en la cara, que normalmente disimulo con el corrector y el maquillaje, pero si puedo hacerla menos visible, pues mucho mejor.
Llevo ya algunas semanas utilizándola y parece que la mancha está más difuminada (no sé si serán imaginaciones mías).

Justo al lado de la caja, tenían estos pulidores de uñas de 4 pasos, así que nos trajimos uno para cada una. Todavía no los hemos probado. Ya os contaremos.

Y para finalizar las compras de este día, nos fuimos a Sephora. Como se me había terminado la exfoliante facial de Dr. Brandt que tanto me ha gustado, no quería quedarme sin repuesto, así que decidí comprar otra.
Menos mal que tenía un sms de descuento, porque la crema cuesta... ¡80 pavos!
La verdad es que me gusta mucho, pero si puedo encontrar una alternativa más barata, lo prefiero.

Y siguiendo con la exfoliación facial, me compré este disco exfoliante. Ví uno parecido (de una marca japonesa, creo) en el blog de Julia Phoenix, y cuanto vi éste, me pareció una buena oportunidad para probar uno de estos productos. Hasta ahora conocía los cepillitos exfoliantes, pero se tiende a acumular suciedad entre las cerdas; sin embargo estos discos me parecen más higiénicos. Ya os contaré qué tal va, porque no lo he probado todavía. En Internet tenéis alternativas más baratas.

Bueno, esto es todo por el momento.

Here we are again with another post about our latest cosmetic haul (well, now it's not the latest one anymore) at Carrefour, Douglas and Sephora.
I think this is the time we've purchased the largest amount of cosmetic products in one day.

Let's start with our purchases at Carrefour.
They renewed their own cosmetic products range not so long ago.
We brought with us a green tea scented body spray from their own brand. You know that we love this kind of items, so we always have one of these, no matter the brand.
They also had lots of products from Lixoné. By now, we only tried the sulphur soap for oily skin, which Marox used to 'smuggle' for me, because I didn't find them here... until now.
But since there were so many kinds of soap bars to try and I had already tried the sulphur one, I chose the Dead Sea Salts and Clay ones.
Besides, they had a 2x1 offer on the anticellulite gel, which we also brought with us.



Without leaving the Shopping Centre, we went to Douglas. There I bought this Dark Spot Concentrate, from GoodSkin Labs. I have quite a big dark spot on my face, which I use to cover with make-up and concealer, but if I can make it less visible this way, so much the better.
I've been using it for several weeks now and it seems the dark spot is more 'faded' (I don't know if it's just my imagination).



Just next to the cash desk, they had these 4- step nail polishers, so we bought one for each. We haven't tried them yet. We'll tell you about them soon.

And to end the shopping session of the day, we went to Sephora. As my Dr. Brandt exfoliating face cream had ended up, I didn't want to find myself without it, so I bought another one as back-up.
It's just as well that I had received an sms with an offer from Sephora, as the face cream is... €80!
I truly like it much, but I really wish I could find a cheaper one.



And on the subject of facial exfoliation, I bought this exfoliating disc. I saw a similar one (from a Japanese brand, I think) on Julia Phoenix blog, so when I saw this one, I thought it was a good opportunity to try one of those.
I already knew about exfoliating brushes, but dirt often collects around the bristles; however, these discs seem more hygienic.
When I try it, I'll tell you how it works.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products (IX)

¡Hola de nuevo!

Aquí venimos con una nueva entrega de productos terminados. Esta vez hemos juntado en una semana, más o menos, los suficientes productos como para escribir una entrada.

1- Jabón de azufre para pieles grasas de Lixoné (Marian): no es el primero que pruebo de la marca, y me ha gustado tanto que no sólo voy a repetir con él, sino que ya tengo otras dos cajas de reserva para no quedarme nunca sin él. Antes lo tenían en el Alcampo, pero ahora me lo tengo que traer de contrabando de Zamora (CC Eroski).
Me gusta porque me limpia la piel sin dejarla áspera o tirante. Además tiene un olor suave, muy agradable (al menos para mí).

2- Spray corporal de rosa blanca de Les Cosmetiques: éste lo usamos las dos.
A Marox quizá le gustó más otro que tuvimos de flor de cerezo, pero a Marian éste también le ha gustado mucho.
Aplicado después de la ducha, deja un perfume suave y agradable, que perdura bastante en la piel.



3- Loción corporal Monogotas de coco, de Deliplus (Marian, por supuesto): digo lo de por supuesto porque a Marox le repugna el olor a coco. Empecé a usarlo (como si no hubiera mañana) cuando Marox estuvo de vacaciones, y a su vuelta, lo tenía por la mitad. Me ha permitido seguir usándolo hasta que lo he terminado, jeje.

4- Crema definidora de rizos de Stylius (Marian): Hace un tiempo decidí dejar de usar espuma fijadora y empecé a usar este producto, que me ha gustado mucho, así que seguramente repetiré con él.
Me deja los rizos definidos y el pelo brillante no sólo el día que me lavo el pelo (como me ocurría con la espuma), sino que el brillo dura más tiempo. Además, no deja el pelo pegajoso o acartonado.



5- Spray definidor de rizos de Stylius (Marian): Otro producto de la misma línea, con una fijación más fuerte que el producto anterior. Pensé que iba a apestar a alcohol o algo así (como me ocurría con la keratina en spray de Stylius), pero no. Su olor es suave.
Fija bien los rizos, pero no deja sensación pegajosa. Seguramente también repita con este producto.

Here we are with a new post of the 'Finito Products' series. This time we have used up in about a week enough amount of products as to write a post.




1- Sulphur soap for oily skin from Lixoné (Marian): this isn't the first one I've tried from this brand, and I like it so much that I'm not only repeating with it, but I already repurchased another two bars, so I'll never run out of it. I used to find them at Alcampo, but now I have to stock up when I go to our hometown, Zamora.
I like it because it cleans my skin without leaving it too dry or rough. Besides, the scent is soft and very nice (at least for me).



2- White Rose Body Spray from Les Cosmetiques (Carrefour): we both use this one.
Maybe Marox liked the one of cherry tree flower more than this one, but Marian also likes this one.
If applied after the shower, it leaves a soft and nice scent on the skin, which lasts for quite a long time.

3- 'Monogotas' coconut body lotion, from Deliplus (Marian, of course): I say 'of course' because Marox absolutely abhors that scent. I started using it (compulsively) when Marox was on holiday (at our parents'). So when she came back here, the bottle was half full.
She has allowed me to keep on putting this on until I eventually used it up, lol.



4- Curl defining cream from Stylius (Marian): It's been a long time since I decided to give up hair styling mousse products and I began to use this and I liked it so much that I'll surely repurchase it repeatedly.
It leaves my curls defined and at last my hair is shiny not only the day I wash it (as it used to happen when I used styling mousse), but the shine on my hair lasts longer.
Besides, it doesn't leave my hair sticky or rock-hard.

5- Curl defining spray from Stylius (Marian):
Another product from the same range, with a stronger fixing power than the previous one.
I thought it would have a strong alcohol scent or something like that (as it happened to me with the keratin spray from Stylius), but actually it doesn't. The scent is soft.
It leaves my curls fixed, but not sticky.
I'll surely be buying this again.
