Hola, chicas: Aquí venimos a enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados. 1 - Desodorante 0% Deliplus: No nos gustó demasiado este desodorante de los supermercados Mercadona y creo que lo tiramos cuando aún quedaba un poco.  2 - Champú Nature's Gate (Vitacost): Comprado hace un montón de tiempo. Solemos tener varios champús en la ducha y yo suelo hasta mezclarlos en un mismo lavado o usar uno distinto para un segundo lavado y por eso nos lleva un tiempo terminarlo. Me gusta que tenga el dispensador, aunque sale caro pedirlos por los gastos de envío desde Estados Unidos. Habréis observado que hace mucho que ya no hemos vuelto a hacer pedido... entre que nos apetece probar cosas / tiendas online y los regalos de las revistas... 3- Perfume "Britney Spears- Intimate Edition" (Marian). Me lo regaló Marox, como casi siempre, y fue otro acierto, sin duda. Tiene una fragancia floral que me encanta, y ha sido un éxito entre mis compañeras de trabajo. Creo que lo compró en Perfumes Club, tienda que da cashback con plataformas como *Beruby* o *Shoppiday*.  4 - Mascarilla de biocelulosa 'Pure & Care' de Primaprix: Lo cierto es que la compré y luego con el confinamiento, he descuidado mi piel y se me caducó, pero la he usado sin problema. Viene muy impregnada y usé el serum sobrante, guardado en la nevera, en días sucesivos. Cuesta sólo 0,95€ y por ese precio, merece mucho la pena. 5 - Gel de ducha de té verde de The Body Shop: Vino con una revista y no suelo dejar pasar las colaboraciones con The TBS. Tiene un olor suave y muy agradable, es bastante concentrado, tanto que para poderlo aprovechar bien le añadí un poco de agua.  Bien, esto ha sido todo por el momento. Ya nos diréis qué os han parecido estos terminados. |
Hi girls, Here we are again to show you our latest empties. 1 - Deliplus aluminium-free deodorant: We didn't like this product from Mercadona supermarkets own brand very much and I think we threw it away when there was still some product left. 2 - Vitacost Shampoo: I bought this a lifetime ago. We usually have several shampoos on rotation and even combine them as I'm washing my hair or use a different one for a second wash, so that explains why it takes us so long to show Empties from stuff we shared with you a good while ago. I like the fact that it comes with a pump dispenser, though considering shipping costs from the States, it's not as cheap ordering as I would like. You may have noticed it's been a couple years since we last posted a Haul from a store overseas. And then there's the fact that every now and then we want to try out new stuff or other online stores, plus the fact that I seem to be hoarding magazine freebies lately...  3- 'Britney Spears- Intimate Edition' fragrance (Marian). It was another gift from Marox, and she succeeded, as usual. It has a floral scent that I love. So do my workmates. I think she ordered this off PerfumesClub, a shop partnered with cashback sites such as *Beruby* and *Shoppiday*. 4 - Biocellulose sheet mask 'Pure & Care' from Primaprix: I bought this and then, with lockdown my skincare routine went out the window and it expired. I used it all the same without any issues. It comes soaked in serum and I used what was left of it, refrigerated, over the course of a few days. It is only €0.95 and I highly recommend it.  5 - Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel from The Body Shop: This was a magazine freebie quite a while ago. I really like the brand, so I'm always eager to get my hands on their products. The scent is subtle and nice and the gel is concentrated enough for me to add some water towards the end so I could use it up all the way through. Well, this is all for now. Productos Terminados / Finito Products 2020 (VI)
Hola, chicas: Parece que poco a poco se va instalando el frío entre nosotros, al menos por Castilla. Así que coged una mantita y pasad con nosotras unas minutos, leyendo sobre nuestros últimos terminados. 1 - Gel argán TBS: Me hice con este gel gracias a una revista,
probablemente Glamour, hace unos meses. Con muy poca cantidad cunde. Nos
ha gustado mucho a las 2. De esta linea únicamente había probado un
bálsamo labial en formato latita. Me gustaría probar la manteca corporal
correspondiente, así que ojalá vuelvan las revistas a hacer
colaboraciones de este tipo para hacernos con más productos. Gracias a estas colaboraciones, suelo tener solucionadas las 'potiduchas'. Tengo otros 2 por gastar, de otros números de la revista, el último vino con la edición mini, así que salió todavía más a cuenta que éste, que vino con el tamaño grande de la revista.  2 - Desodorante Sanex 0%: Lo compramos en Primaprix, donde solemos comprar este tipo de cosas últimamente. Nos ha gustado mucho y aunque no lo hemos vuelto a ver, lo tendremos en cuenta para el futuro. 3 - Mascarilla tissú Sephora de té verde (marox): Compré esta mascarilla en rebajas, como podéis ver y he tardado algo en usarla. Es de las que tenéis que retirar una capa antes de ponerla. Con estas mascarillas suele sobrar esencia: yo suelo guardar el sobrante en la nevera y me suele dar para un par de usos. Hacedlo con precaución, eso sí.  4 - Exfoliante 'Fortune Scrub' de Rituals: Vino con una revista hace una eternidad. Llevaba tiempo en mmi ducha pero lo usé mucho al principio y luego rarara vez me acordaba de él. Eso sí, es muy agradable de usar, no está suspendido en aceite como otro que tengo a medias en formato tarro. Aunque suelo ser partidaria de los tarros por aquello de que se aprovechan más los productos, en este caso prefiero este tipo de exfoliante, pero por la fórmula en sí. 5 - Mousse rizos Deliplus: Ya no está a la venta desde hace tiempo. Me gustaba mucho en su momento, pero desde que empezamos a usar el Potion 9 la usábamos esporádicamente. La última vez que intenté usarla la textura había cambiado, así que a la basura sin dudarlo.  6 - Base para uñas 'Better than Gel Nails' de Essence: Siempre ha sido una de mis favoritas, especialmente teniendo en cuenta su precio. Ésta estaba en nuestra segunda casa y la pobre está toda pastosa, así que se va a la basura. Esto ha sido todo por el momento. Hasta pronto. |
Hi girls, It's slowly getting colder, at least here in Castille. So cozy up and spend a few minutes reading about our latest 'empties'. 1 - TBS Argan Oil shower gel: I got my hands on this shower gel as a
magazine freebie, most likely with Glamour, a few months ago. A little
really goes a long way with this. We liked it very much. The only
product I'd tried from their argan line was a lip balm in a tin jar. I'd
love to try the body butter, so fingers crossed that they'll partner
again with the brand so I can test other stuff too. Thanks to these collabs, my 'pleasure showers' are taken care of. I still have another 2 left, from different lines. They came with other issues, the last one with the pocket edition which is an even better deal than this was. 2 - Sanex 0% Deodorant: We bought this at Primaprix outlet supermarket, where we tend to get all this stuff lately. We liked it a lot and although we haven't seen it again there, we'll keep an eye on it for a future visit.  3 - Sephora Green Tea Sheet Mask (marox): I bought this at a sale, as
you can see, but it's taken me a while to use it. It does have a
protective layer you need to peel off before you put it on. As with most
sheet masks, there is leftover essence, so I keep them in the fridge
and the remaining product is enough for a couple uses. Do this at your
own risk, though. 4 - Rituals 'Fortune Scrub': This was a magazine freebie, a lifetime ago. It's been in my shower for a really long time. Long story short: used it often at first but then sort of forgot about it. It is really nice to use, though, it isn't an oil-based scrub like another I have in use that comes in a tub. Although I normally go for products that come in a tub, I'd rather get this, but not because of the format but the formula itself.  5 - Styling mousse for curly hair from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): It's no longer available and hasn't been in a while. I loved it back then, but ever since we switched to Potion9 I used it once in a blue moon. Last time I tried to do so, the texture was really funky, so it goes straight into our dustbin.  6 - Essence 'Better than Gel Nails' base sealer: It's always been one of my favourites, especially considering how affordable it is. This was in our second home and it was all gooey, so I had to throw it away. This is all for now. See you around. |

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products (V)
Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.
1 - Manteca corporal de karité de TBS (marox): Me hice con esta manteca gracias a una revista, aunque ya la habría probado antes.
A pesar de ser de karité, no es de las más hidratantes que he probado de la marca (almendra y moringa).
Estas mantecas están bien si nos hacemos con ella a buen precio.
2- Aceite capilar de Kerastase (Marian).
Fue uno de nuestros hallazgos de mercadillo. Lo uso después de lavarme el cabello. Echo muy poquita cantidad en la palma de la mano, froto las manos y lo reparto por el pelo, sobre todo en las puntas.
Deja el pelo con mucho brillo.
3 - Desodorante Desert Essence de limón y árbol de té: Compré este desodorante hace ya tiempo y lo teníamos en nuestra otra casa. Marian lo intentó usar un par de veces, pero le irritaba la piel. Yo lo he podido aprovechar algo más, pero hacia el final parecía que también me irritaba un poco. No sé si es que al llevar ya un tiempo abierto estaba mal o qué. Puesto que últimamente estamos usando desodorantes sin aluminio de supermercado (Primaprix, principalmente), no repetiremos con éstos.
Lo compré en Vitacost o iHerb.
4 - Mini manteca Berry Bon Bon (y Moringa) de TBS: La primera (en la foto), la he podido terminar sin problema. La tenía en un neceser de viaje y la rescaté. Me daba miedo que se echara a perder. Por desgracia, es lo que me ha pasado con la de moringa. Mea culpa. Huele tan bien que me daba pena que se me gastara... y tonta de mí, he tenido que tirar lo que quedaba porque olía rancio. ¿Os pasan estas cosas?
La de frutos rojos vino con una revista, la otra la compramos aprovechando una promoción 3X2 en una tienda física que compramos en un viaje.
5 - Leche corporal hidratante de almendras MySkin. Creo que era la marca propia de los antiguos supermercados El Arbol, así que con eso ya os hacéis una idea del tiempo que hace que la compramos (la compró nuestra madre, a decir verdad). Estaba también en la otra casa y aprovechando las vacaciones, la hemos terminado.
Aunque lleva parafina líquida, ingrediente del que suelo huir, lo cierto es que hidrataba bien la piel. El dispensador no funcionaba muy bien, eso sí.

Despite this being based on shea, it isn't among their most moisturizing ones (those being the almond and moringa, in my experience).
These body butters are worth it as long as you can get them for cheap.
2 - Kerastase Hair Oil (Marian): It was one of our street market finds. I use it after washing my hair, only a small amount. Then I rub my hands together and spread it on my hair, specially the ends.
My hair looks very shiny.
3 - Desert Essence lemon tea tree deodorant: I bought this quite a while ago and it was at our second home. Marian used it a couple of times until it gave her a rash. I was able to use it longer, but eventually, it started to irritate my skin too. I don't whether it has to do with the fact that it had been in use for quite a while and had gone off or what. Considering that lately we've been sticking to aluminium-free brands available locally (namely, at Primaprix discount supermarket), we won't repurchase in the future.

Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to the latter. My bad. The TBS Moringa line smells so friggin' good that I am always sad to use it up and kept saving it for special occasions or getaways. Silly me. I had to throw the rest of it away because it did go bad. Does this ever happen to you?
The former was a magazine freebie and the latter was bought as part of a 3X2 deal at a brick and mortar shop that we bought on some holiday.
5 - Almond Body Milk, MySkin. I believe this was the store brand of a Spanish supermarket chain that went out of business, El Arbol. That gives you a good idea of the fact this has been with us for a while. It was in our second home too and since we got to spend some time there we made it a point to use it up.
It contains paraffinum liquidum, an ingredient I stay away from -our mum got this-, but to be honest, this did a decent job at moisturizing our skin, though the pump dispenser wasn't very good.
Have you used up a lot of stuff lately? Did you have to throw anything away recently?

Compras varias 2020 / Sundry Haul 2020 (III)
Hola, chicas.
Aquí venimos a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente, aunque ya aviso que tengo otro post de compras en el horno que estoy deseando compartir con vosotros.
1 - Manteca corporal de granada y bayas de goji de Lidl: Lidl es uno de los supermercados que más cerca nos queda para hacer la compra. Me sorprendió verlas, ya que no las trajeron en su día. Había otras novedades que parecían interesantes (gama Skin Foodies) -un par de cremas faciales y de manos bastante decentes-, pero compré un par de estas mantecas: una para mí y otra para Marian. Yo tardaré bastante en probarla, porque tengo unas cuantas compradas antes e intento irlas gastando por orden de antigüedad. Marian creo que acaba de estrenar la suya.
El precio fue de 2,49€ cada una.
Son veganas, contienen varios aceites y ácido hialurónico.
2 - Desodorante Dove 0% (marox): Lo compré en... Primaprix. Precio: 1.50€
No lo he estrenado aún, pero como allí los tienen muy bien de precio y los que hemos probado hasta ahora nos han gustado, pues siempre viene bien tener repuesto.
3 - Mascarilla facial Pure & Care (marox): De Primaprix también, al módico precio de 0,95€. Tengo otra sin estrenar.
4 - Sérum Pure & Care de ácido hialurónico: Es de la marca que fabrica para Primaprix. Me sorprendió que sólo tuvieran este formato mini de 5 ml, cuando siempre han tenido de 30ml. No es mala idea para probar el producto y saber si nos convence o no, o para llevar de viaje. Trae cuentagotas, como suele ser habitual en este tipo de producto.
Precio: 1,95€
Lo he probado y aunque no está mal, me sigue gustando más el de Scinic.
5 - Mascarillas reutilizables con filtro de *Aliexpress*: Compré una para cada uno de la familia y un par de paquetes de filtros. La de mi padre, en gris más discretas y las nuestras en distintos tonos, todos muy 'de sirena'. Me temo que las mascarillas van a formar parte de nuestras vidas a partir de ahora y ya de tener que llevarlas, pues al menos 'con glamour' y de paso, generamos menos residuos.
Al tener válvula, en ciertos sitios como hospitales es mejor NO usarlas, pero para ir por la calle están bien.
Las alternamos con alguna de las muchas que ha cosido Marian.
6- Desodorante Cien (Lidl) sin sales de aluminio.
Fue un encargo de Marian, que se había quedado sin desodorante.
Le está gustando mucho.
Como veis en la foto, es en formato roll-on.

I haven't tried it yet. I like to get them there since they're much more affordable than elsewhere. The ones we've tried so far were quite good and it's nice to have a small stockpile.

4- Pure&Care hyaluronic acid serum:
It's from their house brand. I was surprised to only find these 5ml mini sizes when they normally have 30ml bottles. However, it's not a bad idea to test them and see if you like them enough or to use them for travelling. It does come with a dropper, like most serums.
Price: €1.95
I've tried it a few times. It's not a bad product, but I prefer the Scinic one I normally use.
5 - Reusable face masks with filter from *Aliexpress*: I bought one for each of us and 2 sets of filters. My dad's rather modest but ours in different 'mermaid' shades. I'm afraid that face masks are here to stay and will be a part of our lives from now on. And if we have to wear one, we'd better do it in style and minimize waste at the same time.
Since they have a valve, it's better NOT to use them inside a hospital, for instance, but to wear outside they're absolutely fine.
We're using these in conjunction with the ones Marian made.

I haven't tried it yet. I like to get them there since they're much more affordable than elsewhere. The ones we've tried so far were quite good and it's nice to have a small stockpile.
3 - Pure & Care Sheet Mask (marox):
Also from Primaprix, at €0.95. I already had one of these, but I haven't tried them yet.
4- Pure&Care hyaluronic acid serum:
It's from their house brand. I was surprised to only find these 5ml mini sizes when they normally have 30ml bottles. However, it's not a bad idea to test them and see if you like them enough or to use them for travelling. It does come with a dropper, like most serums.
Price: €1.95
I've tried it a few times. It's not a bad product, but I prefer the Scinic one I normally use.
5 - Reusable face masks with filter from *Aliexpress*: I bought one for each of us and 2 sets of filters. My dad's rather modest but ours in different 'mermaid' shades. I'm afraid that face masks are here to stay and will be a part of our lives from now on. And if we have to wear one, we'd better do it in style and minimize waste at the same time.
Since they have a valve, it's better NOT to use them inside a hospital, for instance, but to wear outside they're absolutely fine.
We're using these in conjunction with the ones Marian made.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2020 (IV)
Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.
1- Perfume Lalique: Se ha terminado tanto mi frasco como el que le regalé a mi madre. Nos ha gustado muchísimo, pero sí que hemos notado que cuando queda como la mitad del frasco el olor no es tan intenso ni perdura tanto. Lo compré en *Notino* a ciegas (tras leer reseñas en *Fragantica*) y ha sido todo un descubrimiento. Que sepamos, no la venden en las perfumerías españolas, por lo que no es un perfume que la gente conozca y esté trillado.
2- Desodorante en barra Lactovit 0% sales de aluminio (Marian).
Me ha gustado mucho este desodorante. Protege bien, y no me ha irritado la piel.
No descarto repetir con él.
3- Desodorante en barra Queen Helene Aloe Vera (Marian).
No lo he llegado a terminar, porque cada vez que lo usaba, me picaban las axilas. Con otros de la marca no me ha ocurrido, pero de momento no repetiré, teniendo otras opciones.
4 - Espuma de ducha Cien Lidl (marox):Seguro que recordáis esta colección que sacó Lidl hace ya algún tiempo. Había 2 lineas diferentes, que recordaban a los productos de Rituals. Si bien los olores no están para nada tan logrados como los de Rituals, el precio es mucho más ajustado. Lo que más me ha gustado es que el dispensador no suelta un chorro a toda caña al principio, sino que lo hace de forma controlada, algo que no me pasa con los de Rituals.
De momento no me haré con ninguna espuma más. Prefiero formatos más ecológicos.
5- Manteca corporal de coco de The Body Shop (Marian).
Ya sabéis que el olor a coco me encanta, así que esta manteca no podía ser menos.
Es muy hidratante y agradable de usar, como todas las de la marca.
Ésta vino de regalo con una revista.
Bien, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

It's not available at any Spanish drugstore that we are aware of, so it's not a fragrance people know or are sick to death of.
2 - Lactovit 0% aluminium salts stick deodorant (Marian). I really liked this one. It keeps you odour-free and didn't irritate my skin. I don't rule out getting it again.
3 - Queen Helene Aloe Vera deodorant stick (Marian): I didn't really use it up, because it stang my armpits. It's never happened to me using others from this brand, but considering I now have other choices I won't get those either.
4- Cien shower foam from Lidl (marox): You may remember this collection that Lidl released some time ago. They had two different lines that were very reminiscent of Rituals. Although the scents are nowhere near as enticing as the latter, you can get these for a fraction of the price.
What I liked best was the fact that the pump dispenser does not shoot out product like Rituals do at the beginning. It comes out nicely instead.
I won't get any more foams for the time being, as I prefer more environmentally-friendly formats.
5- Coconut body butter from The Body Shop (Marian).
You already know that I love coconut scented stuff, so this body butter is right up my alley.
It's very moisturizing and pleasant to use, just like all the ones from this brand.
This was a magazine freebie some time ago.

Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2020 (II)
Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.
1 - Perfilador automático Essence azul, tono #09 Cool Down (marox): Ya sabéis que me gustan los perfiladores de ojos únicamente en formato automático. Los de Essence dan muy buen resultado y están disponibles en muchos colores. La mina no se queda dura con el paso del tiempo, cosa que sí me ha pasado con, por ejemplo, los antiguos de Mercadona.
2 - Desodorante Dove sin aluminio, pomelo y hierbalimón (Marox):
Lo compramos en *Primaprix* y a las dos nos ha gustado más la variedad de pepino, ya que irrita menos la piel tras la depilación y protege mejor. Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta de que se trata de desodorantes y no antitranspirantes.
3- Champú de agua de coco de Organics OGX (Marian).
Es totalmente transparente y un poco espeso, lo que quiere decir que con poca cantidad es suficiente.
Deja el pelo hidratado, pero sin sensación grasa.
No descarto repetir con él, aunque de momento he vuelto a los champús sólidos.
A mi hermana se le hizo un poco denso, decía que le dejaba el pelo un poco apelmazado, al tenerlo fino.
Lo compré en una perfumería Arenal.
4- Gel de dermabrasión facial de Origins (Marian).
Es una mini talla que venía en un cracker que compré en los precios locos de Sephora.
Me ha gustado mucho. Tiene un gránulo de un tamaño adecuado para exfoliar la piel sin irritarla.
5- Manteca corporal de haba tonka, de Cien, de venta en Lidl (Marian).
Ya la había probado, y me había gustado mucho, así que volví a comprarla.
Se extiende muy bien en la piel, y la deja hidratada, pero sin sensación grasa.
Por lo visto en febrero han debido tener una nueva linea de granada o goji, que también incluía una manteca corporal, pero a nuestra tienda más cercana no ha llegado.
6 - Serum de ácido hialurónico coreano de Scinic (marox): Un clásico que no puede faltarme, aunque a veces he estado tentada de probar otras marcas. Como siempre, lo compré por Ebay.
Bueno, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

The Essence ones are a great bang for your buck and work great, as well as being available in a wide range of shades. The pencil lead doesn't harden over time, unlike others I've tried, i.e. the old Deliplus -Mercadona ones.
2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant, grapefruit and lemongrass: We got this from Outlet supermarket Primaprix and we both prefer the other scent available, with cucumber extract, since it doesn't irritate the skin after shaving and provides far better protection.
That being said, bear in mind these are just deodorants and not antiperspirants.
3- Organics (Ogx) coconut water shampoo (Marian).
It's totally transparent and the consistency is a bit thick, so a small amount goes a long way.
It leaves your hair moisturised, but without a greasy feeling.
I will probably repurchase it in the future, but now I'm using shampoo bars again.
My sister said it was a bit too thick and heavy for her thin hair.
I bought this at Arenal drugstores.
4- Origins 'Modern Friction' dermabrasion gel (Marian).
It's a mini size included in a cracker I bought at the Sephora sales.
I like it very much. Its exfoliating particles are the right size to gently scrub the skin on your face without irritating it.
5- Tonka bean body butter by Cien (sold at Lidl supermarkets) (Marian).
I've already used it before, and I liked it, so I bought it again.
It's very easy to apply, and leaves your skin moisturized, but not greasy.
Lidl supermarkets apparently had in February another range based on pomegranate or goji which included a body butter, but it was nowhere to be seen at our nearest supermarket.
6 - Scinic hyaluronic acid ampoule (marox): It's a staple in my skincare routine, although I've been tempted to try out other ones a few times. As always, I got this off Ebay.

Compras Varias / Sundry Haul 2019 (III)
Hola, chicas:
Aquí venimos a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.
1 - Agua Micelar Kueshi: Me queda muy poco del agua micelar de Lidl, que tiene un envase muy práctico. Había pensado probar la de Evoluderm de pieles reactivas, que tiene buenas opiniones, pero encontré ésta también y me gustó más. La compré en ese lugar de perdición llamado *Primaprix* por sólo 4,95€.
2 - Desodorante Dove sin aluminio de pomelo y hierbalimón (marox): Y también de Primaprix, por 1,45€ me traje este desodorante sin aluminio. Marian está muy contenta con el suyo y lo cierto es que funciona bastante bien. Se queda corto en los días de mucho calor o trajín, pero no irrita la piel en absoluto y se puede encontrar en varias perfumerías y supermercados.
3 - Mascarilla Tissú Ginseng (marox): Primaprix, 1.50€ Ya la he usado y me gustó.
4 - Reproductor vintage de vinilos y cds, marca Muse, de *Amazon* (marox): Hemos estado de reformas en casa y aprovechando que compramos una estantería más grande para mi habitación, compré este reproductor para poder escuchar música en casa. Tiene un diseño muy bonito, con una excelente relación calidad-precio. El altavoz no es demasiado potente si queréis que la música se oiga en otras estancias cercanas. Para ese caso, le conecto con cable el altavoz Bluetooth *Aukey* que compré también en Amazon hace un par de años y mejora bastante.
5 - Pinza mini Tweezerman, en Sephora: Tanto Marian como yo nos hicimos con una, ya que estaba genial de precio, 7€, cuando lo normal es que cueste casi 15.

2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant, Grapefruit and Lemongrass (marox): And another Primaprix purchase, retailing at €1.45 was this aluminium-free deodorant. Marian kept singing the praises of hers and it is indeed really nice to use, as it doesn't irritate the skin. It provides fairly good protection, as long as the weather's not too hot or you're not too active.
Another upside is that is readily available from most supermarkets or drugstores.
3 - Ginseng Sheet Mask (marox): Also from Primaprix discount supermarkets. I paid 1.50 EUR and have used it already. I liked it.
4 - Vintage-style Record and Cd player, from the brand Muse, available from *Amazon* (marox): We've done an extensive reno at home recently and I jumped at the opportunity to get a larger bookshelf for my room. This was the other addition, so I could listen to music again on something that wasn't my laptop. I love the vintage look and the fact that is great value for money. The speakers are not too powerful if you want to hear the music from another room, but in that case I connect *my Aukey* Bluetooth speaker that I got from Amazon a few years ago with a long cable and problem (somewhat) solved.
5 - Mini Slant tweezers by Tweezerman from Sephora: Both Marian and myself got one, as it was a steal at €7. Regular price is almost 15.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (I)
Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.
1 - Colonia 'Magic Chic' de Deliplus (Mercadona): Hablaban muy bien de esta colonia por Internet. Creo que ya tiene un tiempo. Como tengo un par de body sprays a punto de terminarse, pues los sustituiré por ésta. Se la encargué a Marian, que tenía que ir al supermercado Mercadona a por unas cosillas. Es baratita, como 2 o 3 euros y trae 300ml. El envase es reutilizable, al ser un plástico tipo 5.
Alguna gente decía que el olor recordaba al de la colonia Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice.
2 -Desodorante Dove sin aluminio: Lleva extractos de té verde y pepino. De vez en cuando me gusta probar algo sin aluminio que se encuentre en supermercados y que no se tenga que comprar al extranjero por internet. Comprado en Primaprix, por 1,55€.
3 - Mascarilla puntos negros Revox (marox): La compré en Arenal, para sustituir a otra coreana que ya estaba en las últimas y que costaba mucho extender.
De momento la he usado sólo una vez y va bien. Apliqué una capa finita de mascarilla en la nariz, entrecejo y barbilla y retiré con cuidado unos minutos después, cuando se secó.
Ya no recuerdo el precio.
4 - Revista Glamour Febrero (marox): Le tenía echado el ojo desde que anunciaron el regalo el mes pasado. Me llevé una sorpresa para bien, ya que no creí que fuera a traer una crema de manos en formato 100ml. La crema hidrata genial las manos, aunque el olor tan... raruno no es que me entusiasme.
También disponible la variedad de rosa inglesa y de karité. Tentada estoy de pillar alguna más, ya que en tienda cuestan 12€.
5 - Revista Cosmopolitan mini, Febrero (marox): Por ese precio, no está nada mal. Los cascos, sin tener una calidad brutal, como es lógico, se escuchan bastante bien y resultan útiles para ver videos en la tablet o el móvil en casa.
6 - Mascarilla hidrogel Pure & Care, de Primaprix: La vi otras veces en la tienda, pero valía casi 5 euros y como que no estaba dispuesta a pagar tanto por un tratamiento que en principio es de un sólo uso (aunque a veces podamos aprovechar la esencia sobrante). Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.
1 - Colonia 'Magic Chic' de Deliplus (Mercadona): Hablaban muy bien de esta colonia por Internet. Creo que ya tiene un tiempo. Como tengo un par de body sprays a punto de terminarse, pues los sustituiré por ésta. Se la encargué a Marian, que tenía que ir al supermercado Mercadona a por unas cosillas. Es baratita, como 2 o 3 euros y trae 300ml. El envase es reutilizable, al ser un plástico tipo 5.
Alguna gente decía que el olor recordaba al de la colonia Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice.
3 - Mascarilla puntos negros Revox (marox): La compré en Arenal, para sustituir a otra coreana que ya estaba en las últimas y que costaba mucho extender.
De momento la he usado sólo una vez y va bien. Apliqué una capa finita de mascarilla en la nariz, entrecejo y barbilla y retiré con cuidado unos minutos después, cuando se secó.
Ya no recuerdo el precio.
4 - Revista Glamour Febrero (marox): Le tenía echado el ojo desde que anunciaron el regalo el mes pasado. Me llevé una sorpresa para bien, ya que no creí que fuera a traer una crema de manos en formato 100ml. La crema hidrata genial las manos, aunque el olor tan... raruno no es que me entusiasme.
También disponible la variedad de rosa inglesa y de karité. Tentada estoy de pillar alguna más, ya que en tienda cuestan 12€.
5 - Revista Cosmopolitan mini, Febrero (marox): Por ese precio, no está nada mal. Los cascos, sin tener una calidad brutal, como es lógico, se escuchan bastante bien y resultan útiles para ver videos en la tablet o el móvil en casa.
6 - Mascarilla hidrogel Pure & Care, de Primaprix: La vi otras veces en la tienda, pero valía casi 5 euros y como que no estaba dispuesta a pagar tanto por un tratamiento que en principio es de un sólo uso (aunque a veces podamos aprovechar la esencia sobrante). Here we are again to show you our latest purchases.
1 - Eau de Toilette 'Magic Chic' from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): I heard several people raving about this online. It's not a new release. I have a couple body sprays on their last legs and this will replace them when the time comes. I asked Marian to get it for me, since she had to go there to grab some other groceries. It's very affordable, about 2 or 3 euros and contains 300ml. The bottle can be repurposed after use, as it is a type-5 plastic.
Some people commented the scent reminded them of Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice.
2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant: It contains green tea and cucumber extracts. Every now and then I like to try aluminium-free deodorants that can be found on supermarkets or drugstores, that you don't have to order online from abroad.
I bought this at a local Primaprix discount supermarket for €1.55.
3 - Revox Blackhead peel-off mask for marox: I bought this at a local drugstore, Arenal, to replace a Korean one that was on its last legs and that I had a really hard time spreading.
So far, I've only used this once and works fine. I applied a thin coat on my nose, between my brows and on my chin and then peeled it off when it dried out.
I don't remember the price.
4 - Glamour magazine, February issue (marox): I had my greedy eye on this ever since they announced what the next freebie would be. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the hand cream came in the large 100ml tube. This cream provides excellent hydration for dry hands, despite the... erm... funky smell. Also available were the British rose and Shea range. I'm tempted to grab some more, as these retail at €12 in store.
5 - Cosmopolitan Pocket edition, February issue (marox): Not too bad for the price. The headphones are decent enough and are handy to watch videos on your tablet or smartphone at home.
6 - Hydrogel face mask 'Pure & Care', from Primaprix: I'd seen this on previous trips to the shop but was about 5 euros and I wasn't that eager to try it and fork out that much on a treatment that is supposed to be single use -even if you can sometimes use the remaining essence the next day-. The last time I was there it was priced much more affordable, at €1.95. The ingredient list looks quite good too. I haven't tested this yet, but no worries, I'll give you my two cents about it in an Empties post when the time comes.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2019 (II)
Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.
1 - Desodorante Queen Helene: Nos gusta utilizar desodorantes sin aluminio. Estos son bastante económicos, aunque hay que comprarlos por Internet, en Vitacost o iHerb.
No son tan efectivos como los desodorantes tradicionales, pero claro, también son más sanos.
2 - Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika de Açai: Venía súper impregnada, tanto que me ha sobrado esencia como para 4 veces más. Cerré el sobrecito con una pinza y lo guardé en el frigorífico para conservarlo bien.
3 - Mascarilla nocturna de Laneige: Me ha durado bastante, ya que recomiendan usarla de 1 a 2 veces por semana. He ido alternando esta mascarilla con otros productos.
Lo cierto es que está muy bien. Es de esos productos coreanos que merece la pena probar, aunque sea sólo una vez.
De momento no repetiré, porque tengo en uso una de Narukö y tengo mascarillas de tissú también por gastar.
Podéis encontrarla en multitud de tiendas online, aunque yo la compré por Ebay.
4 - Mascarilla tissú de rosa de Innisfree: Me ha gustado mucho. Con razón es una de las mascarillas de este formato más populares. Si bien con otras marcas he notado frescor e hidratación, con ésta también he sentido un efecto tensor. Sobró también esencia para un par de días más.
5 - Esmalte base 'Nail Envy' de OPI (marox): Aunque todavía quedaba como la mitad del bote, se había espesado. Eso no es lo peor: las últimas veces que lo he usado, con distintos esmaltes, me ha sacado un montón de burbujas en las manicuras, así que sintiéndolo mucho, se ha ido directo a la basura.
6 - Bálsamo limpiador casero (marox): Fue un regalo de Marian. Aunque acababa de comprar uno coreano, decidí utilizar éste primero al no llevar conservantes. Lo cierto es que ha aguantado bien sin estropearse. La textura es bastante aceitosa y cuesta un poco repartirlo, pero ha cumplido su función. Como envase aprovechó el del bálsamo desmaquillante de TBS.
7 - Bálsamo labial Biocura (Aldi): Es una lástima que aquí no haya Aldi, porque tienen algunos productos muy apañados, como éstos bálsamos labiales. Vienen en un paquete de 3 y creo que no llega a 2€. Solemos aprovechar cuando estamos en nuestra tierra para acercarnos hasta Aldi y hacernos con algunos de sus productos.

1 - Queen Helene deodorant: We like to use aluminium-free deodorants and these are quite affordable. The downside is that you need to order them online, from stores like Vitacost or iHerb.
They're not as effective as traditional deodorants, but since those are not as healthy I guess it's better this way.
2 - Holika Holika Açai Sheet Mask: This came super drenched in essence, to the point that I had leftover serum for 4 more applications. I used a clothes peg to close the pouch and kept it in the fridge to make sure it was good to use.
3 - Laneige Sleeping Pack: This has lasted quite a long time, since the recommended use is once or twice a week. I used other things as well.
I honestly really enjoyed trying this. I'd say it's one of those K-beauty items you should try at least once.
I won't repurchase for now, as I'm currently using another one from Narukö and have several sheet masks to use too.
Available from countless online stores, I got mine off Ebay.
4 - Innisfree Rose Sheet Mask: I truly enjoyed this one. It's a bestselling sheet mask for good reason. Whereas with others I could feel my skin feeling fresh and moisturized, this one gave me a tightening effect too. There was enough leftover essence for two more applications.
5 - OPI 'Nail Envy' Basecoat (marox): Still half full, it had thickened out. The worst thing is that the last few times I used it, regardless of the polish I used on top, it created a gazillion tiny bubbles on that.
Needless to say, I had to throw it away.
6 - Homemade Cleansing Balm (marox): Marian made this for me, even though I had just bought a Korean one. Since hers did not have any preservatives, I decided to use that first. Truth be told, it has held up without going bad. It is a bit oily and harder to spread than store-bought ones, but it did the job.
The container was a recycled one from TBS's cleansing balm.
7 - Biocura lipbalm from Aldi: It sucks that there's no Aldi here, since they have a handful of skincare items worth trying and repurchasing, like these lipbalms. These come in a 3-count and are less than €2. We usually grab some stuff from Aldi whenever we are in our hometown.
