Productos terminados #36- 'Finito' products #36.

Hola, chicas:

Hi girls,

Here we are with a new review of the stuff we've used up recently.

1 - TBS 'Chocomania' beauty bar: (marox) We seldom include these products in our Empties posts, but maybe we should, given that after all, we've shown them in Haul posts.
This soap bar is very creamy and lathers nicely. We use these in the shower with a flower-type mesh sponge. I used this together with the body butter from the same range to build up the scent by layering. I remember sniffing my arm while in bed and feeling the cocoa scent, lol.
These beauty bars are great value for money and even more so at the TBS sales. You might have noticed that in our latest online order at TBS we included a few more.

2 - TonyMoly Dual Repair Sleeping Pack: (marox) In a nutshell... this seemed to last forever! I really like the sample I'd tried, though I confess once I got my hands on the full-size version I wasn't that impressed. I hardly felt my skin relaxed. I believe the format is slightly different now.
I've been using this on its own as well as mixing it with different moisturisers (Mizon's King's Berry Aqua, Scinic's emulsion).
I won't repurchase, as I already got my hands on a very unique sleeping pack.

3 - 'Lady Rebel' eau de toilette by Mango (Dance Queen) (Marian).
Given how quickly I use up fragrances, it's no wonder I used this in no time.
The scent is fresh and pleasant, but longevity is nothing to write home about.
At the moment I'm using the other bottle in the set, the one I got from Marox this Christmas. It's called Rock Deluxe.

4- 'Trizone' brush head from Oral B (Marox):
I use to change brush heads every three months or when it's very damaged.
This one is not one of my favourites.
However, Marian likes it a lot.
As you know, we use to buy pack of two for €5 at the local street market.

5- Fortifying shampoo from Revlon (Marian).
I've been using it for a first hair wash, because this way my shampoo bar from Bubbly (which I love, as you know) will last longer.
It leaves a fresh feeling on the scalp due to the menthol contained, but it's not unpleasant at all.
I won't be repeating with it by now, because I'm thinking of purchasing one from Kallos at fapex. I don't know yet which one I will choose. You will know when I show it to you in a forthcoming 'Haul' blogpost.

This is all for now.
Have you tried any of these?
Tell us on the comments section below.
See you!

Mis regalos de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts.

Hola, chicas:

Hi girls,

In this post I'll be showing you my birthday presents... from Marox, who was kind enough to give them to me in advance after much persuasion, because I knew she had got them all already. That way, I'd be able to share them with you too.
You'll see it's quite a lot of stuff. Besides, she's given them a lot of thought, even keeping her ears open for any hints, lol -unlike me, who needs to be spoonfed with not-so-casual comments.

1- Trizone 500 Oral B electric toothbrush: Both marox and our mum are over the moon with theirs, so they thought I could do with my own. It was a hit, if you ask me. The difference with manual brushes is overwhelming. Your teeth are much cleaner... in no time. Got it from Amazon.

2- Apivita peel-off mask. Haven't used it yet, but looks cool. It comes in a powder that needs to be mixed with water. I think I'll save this to try it once I've used up the Montagne Jeunesse one. She bought it from the Chemist's next door from my home.

3 - Rucksack for my DSLR camera, which will be great for our next trip to Europe (now we're not telling you where, you'll know it soon). She bought it at Buyincoins.
Both my camera (mounted) and the zoom lens fit perfectly. In another compartment I can put the battery charger, another battery, and some filters (I've put the C-PL [circular polarizer], and the ND [neutral density] ones, although I won't probably use them, because that tends to happen to me quite often). Thre's a small side compartment where I can put my SD cards.
Within the rucksack, a rain cover (very useful, btw), and a neck strap for my camera (which I won't be using for the time being) were also included.
So, what is the difference between this new rucksack and the one that I already have? Well, this new one is much more handy due to its smaller size, and I can carry it in front, in plain sight. This is very important when you travel to very touristy places. You know the saying: where there are tourists, there are pickpockets.
It wouldn't be funny carrying a rucksack at the back, and getting my things stolen if they cut it open. I would surely have a fit.

4. Lip scrub by TonyMoly.
The packaging is super cute, don't you think so?, with those hot lips, lol.
The seller also included the samples pictured below. Got it from cosmeticmarket2012 and shipping took 10 days.

5. Trial-sized set of anti dark spot products, from Sulwhasoo.
As she knew that I had already used up my dark spot remover cream from GoodSkin Labs, she has restocked my dresser. She's great, isn't she?
Within the package, these samples and a hand-made hair band were included.
Seller's name is forthefairestsophia and usually offers this kit in bids (which marox didn't win) but marox got it as a 'Buy it Now' deal.
The sample kit was very carefully bubblewrapped. Shipping took 13 days and the seller marked it as a gift and for a third of its value.

6. Poshé top coat.
I'd read very favourable reviews of this product, and I really was willing to get my greedy hands on it, although I haven't used up my bottle of Seche Vite yet.
As far as I know, the ingredients of Poshé's topcoat are less harmful.
I don't know whether I'll wait until I use up my Seche Vite or if I will try it before that in order to test it. That way, I could make a comparison. I don't know, we'll see.
Seller's name is nailswestcom and shipping took 11 days. The declared value was half the total amount.

Well, this was all for now.
There's a lot of gifts, don't you think?
I hope this post has been useful for you.
See you!

Últimos pedidos de cosmética coreana / Latest Asian cosmetics orders

¡Hola!

No recibí ninguna muestra.

¿Os habéis animado con la cosmética coreana?
Hello!

Forgive us for being somewhat 'MIA' from the blog but between work and a certain family issue (nothing bad, don't worry), it was completely impossible for us to post more often. Today I'd like to share with you the latest Asian cosmetics we've ordered.

1- Hyaluronic Acid serum from Scinic: We haven't had the chance to try this yet because it was a request... from our mum. She was all worried because she'd noticed some minor wrinkles in her youthful early-seventies skin, so we told her to leave it in our hands.
We chose this over others as it was suitable for sensitive skin and she's had allergic reactions to face creams in the past.
Besides containing a highly-rich hyaluronic acid contentrate, it contains panthenol, vegetable oils, Dead Sea salts, aloe vera, licorice and chamomile extracts and many vitamins. On the other hand, it is alcohol and paraben free. It contains 30ml.
Application should be done over clean skin, mornings and nights, using 1-2 pumps of product and then massaged into the skin. My mother prefers applying three and is very pleased with the product so far. She's also using this religiously (unlike she often does).

Seller was newcre8tive and price was $20.99. It came well protected and shipping took about 10 days. Seller included one sample (pictured),

2 - Face sunscreen with SPF 50 from Innisfree: Also for our mum, though she hasn't tried it yet.
Its ingredients are ECOCERT certified and it is alcohol, artificial colourings and mineral oils free, among others. Seller's name was ehappyidea and I paid 19.99 USD. One sample was included.

3 - Tony Moly Intense Care Dual Effect Sleeping Pack: Bellogirl included a sample of this product and I liked it very much. I thought the product was somewhat different, being neither a night cream nor a mask. You can read our review with our first impressions of it *here*.
Seller included a sheet mask of the 'Aroma' variety.

4 - Etude House My Lash Serum: My first product from the brand. I don't have very thick lashes and felt like trying a product that promoted their growth without spending a fortune on it. I like the format, just like your everyday mascara, with is a lot more convenient and user-friendly than the only one I'd tried so far, the Abeñula. Seller name was bringbringshop and price was $6.85. No samples were included.

Have you jumped on the Korean skincare bandwagon?

Probando TonyMoly / Trying out TonyMoly: 'Dual Effect Sleeping Pack - Intense Repair'

¡Hola!

Hi there!

Today we'd like to share our first impressions about one of the samples we received with our *latest order* to Bello-girl's Ebay store. Of course you cannot draw too many conclusions with a single sample, more like a few general impressions after a brief experience using the product, like how it feels on the skin and the like.

The term 'Pack' in Asian Cosmetics apparently usually refers to a product that is meant to be used overnight as a treatment (skipping your night moisturizer in the process), only to wash it off in the morning. It's a mixture between a night cream and a mask. It seems, it is a staple product within Asian cosmetics.

This TonyMoly treatment is one of the brand's best sellers, so let's say Bello-girl leaves nothing to chance when sending a few freebies with your order. Despite the fact that all the information in the sample regarding ingredients, application and so on is written in Korean, a basic search on Google will shed some light on the subject.

The brand's English website contains the following information:

'Intensive dual effect sleeping pack' with skin whitening and anti-aging effect. Arbutin, an effective whitening ingredient, provides intensive brightening and whitening effect. Adenosine, an effective anti-aging ingredient, boost the skin's natural Collagen production. Pomegranate extract revitalize the skin, provides antioxidant and locks in essential nutrients and moisture. Experience the difference and see the result the next morning.

**La foto corresponde al formato antiguo / The above picture depicts the old version of the product. **

Direction
After applying toner, gently spread an appropriate amount onto the entire face, avoiding the eyes and lip area. Rinse off with lukewarm water the next morning. Recommended to use 1~2 times a week at night only.

Precauciones
No tragar.

Cautions
For external use only. Do not apply to areas of the skin where sores, Eczema or dermatitis occur. Do not swallow and avoid contact with eyes or on skin which is sensitive to bandages or pad cloth ???. Discontinue usage and consult a dermatologist if signs of skin irritation and/or rash appear. Keep out of reach to children and store product away from direct sun exposure.

** Here's what we think:

Sample was barely enough for 4 uses. The product has the texture of a light cream, or more like a gel, and it's a bit sticky. It looks opaque. It's not scented, or at least, not in a noticeable way.
Once applied, the skin looks softened. It doesn't leave a greasy feeling, but the following morning... Marian's forehead looks as shiny / bright as a lightbulb, lol. But this can be easily fixed with just water and soap (as the product requires).
Marox got the impression her skin felt more relaxed and will probably end up purchasing it in the future.
