Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2020 (V)

Hola, chicas:
Empezamos mes, poco a poco volvemos a la rutina, si bien de forma diferente a otros años. 
Hoy nos gustaría enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Revista Marie Claire, agosto (marox): El mes pasado también piqué con ella, aunque no os la enseñé. En esta ocasión viene con otro libro y un brillo de labios en un tono bastante natural de Avon.

2 - Mascarillas tissú Mildeen (Aldi): Como en nuestra tierra sí que hay un supermercado Aldi, me animé a comprar estas mascarillas fabricadas en Corea, que tan buenas opiniones tienen. Había otra variedad más -té verde, creo-. Vienen en un pack de 2 mascarillas: una variedad es de granada y la otra de té negro. Tienen buena caducidad, así que gastaré otras primero.

 Aprovechando que tenía un cupón de 3€ de un email por suscribirme a su boletín de noticias, compré lo siguiente -entre otras cosas - en... *Primaprix*.

3 - Mascarillas tissú 'The Oozoo' (marox): Las conseguí por 3,95€ cada una. Esta marca coreana la tienen en *Sephora* y cuestan casi 9€ (también las tienen más baratas en PlanetSkin). Lo único malo es que caducan en unos meses, así que tendré que usarlas pronto. Cogí las 2 variedades que tenían, una de ácido hialurónico y otra con extractos de perla, trufa, etc. No las he probado aún.

3 - Desodorante roll-on Dove sin aluminio: Otro más para la colección, aunque de momento no lo usaré porque tengo más. Ya no me merece la pena comprar desodorantes por Internet. Éstos no están mal y los puedo comprar en tienda física. Además, así apoyamos un poco al comercio local, que falta hace en estos tiempos.
Precio: 1,60€

4 - Gel higienizante de Sephora, de almendra (marox): Me queda todavía un poco del que tengo, que compré poco antes de la declaración del estado de alarma y como me ha gustado mucho para llevar en el bolso, aprovechando que tuvimos que bajar al centro y allí hay un Sephora, aproveché.
Lo único que no me gusta, es el precio para la cantidad que trae, 30 ml. Está a la *venta* por 2,95€
La dependienta nos obsequió un par de muestras de la hidratante facial de Belief, que ya conocía gracias al set de minitallas.

Un detalle que me gustó mucho fue ver que en el centro la gente sí que iba toda con su mascarilla y bien puesta. Me temo que por nuestra zona se escaquea más la gente.

5 - Revista Glamour Septiembre 2020: Ya sabéis que cuando trae un regalo decente suelo picar. Antes de pasar por el kiosko suelo leer un par de blogs y ver algún video en Youtube sobre las revistas del mes para hacerme una idea de lo que traerán, aunque no siempre todo llegue a mi ciudad. De los regalos que traía Glamour gracias a la colaboración con la marca israelí *Sabon*, lo que más merecía la pena eran estos aceites de ducha. Yo me hice con el de jazmín, aunque tenían otros aromas en el kiosko. Trae algo más de 300ml. En su web cuestan unos 15 euros, así que hacerse con él por 3.95€ no está mal.

6 - Pack Hola + Hola Living: No esperaba encontrarla, pero hace poco Marian y yo tuvimos que ir al centro, por una zona por la que no solemos ir y por casualidad dimos con un macroestanco / macrokiosko, con revistas que no se encuentran en los kioskos de barrio. Por 3,95€ me hice con este pack, que traía como regalo una crema hidratante facial de *Naobay*, que tiene muy buena pinta.
Me va a pasar como con las cremas de manos, que tengo para 2 vidas entre alguna que he comprado y las que he conseguido con las revistas.

A new month begins and little by little we go back to our usual routine, albeit a bit differently this year.
Today we'd like to show you our latest purchases.

1 -  Marie Claire magazine, August issue (marox): I got last month's issue as well, though I didn't share that here. This time it had two freebies: a novel and a lip gloss from Avon in a very natural shade.

2 - Mildeen (Aldi) Sheet Masks: Since there is an Aldi supermarket in our hometown, we paid it a visit when we were there and I got my hands on these masks everyone raves about to try them out. They're made in Korea and there was a third type I didn't grab which I believe had green tea as the main ingredient. They come in a 2-pack. I got the pomegranate and the black tea ones. The expiration date is really good, so I'll use others first.

I happened to have a €3 coupon on an e-mail from... *Primaprix* for subscribing to their newsletter, so I paid this discount supermarket a visit and got the following, among other stuff.

3 - The Oozoo Sheet Masks (marox): These retailed at €3.95 each. The brand is sold at *Sephora* and they're sold at almost €9 there, so not a bad deal at all. The only catch is the expiration date is a couple of months away, so I'll have to use them sooner than later. I bought the two lines they had, one with hyaluronic acid and the other containing black pearl and truffle extracts.

3 - Aluminium-free Dove roll-on deodorant: Another one for my stash, but I won't be using it any time soon since I have at least another one. It's no longer worth it for me to order these online. These are OK and I can get them from a brick&mortar shop. Furthermore, I'm supporting a local business while doing so, something desperately needed in times like these.
Price: €1.60

4 - Sephora pocket hand cleansing gel, almond (marox): I still have some left, which I bought shortly before the lockdown. It is very pleasant to use and is convenient, so I bought a new one. We had to go downtown recently and there's a Sephora nearby, so I used the opportunity.
The only thing I don't like about this is the price, given that this is a pocket sanitizer with only 30ml in it. This *retails* at €2.95.
The salesgirl gave us each a sample of Belief's face cream that I'd tried thanks to the travel-size kit I got a while ago.

Something worth mentioning regarding our errands downtown was the fact that everyone there was wearing a mask and doing so properly. I'm afraid that's a responsibility people in our neighbourhood tend to shirk off more often than not.

5 - Glamour magazine, September 2020: You know that I always give in when it includes a nice freebie. Before heading to the nearest kiosk, I like to take a look at some blogs and Youtube channels that focus on monthly magazines and their freebies or lack of. That way I can get  an idea of what to expect, even if not everything they post makes it nationwide. From the freebies that came out thanks to this collab with Israeli brand *Sabon*, the ones that got more praise were their shower oils. I got the jasmine one, although I could find other scents too. It does contain a little over 300ml and they retail at about €15 on their website, so getting it for €3.95 was not a bad deal.

6 - Hola + Hola Living magazine bundle: I wasn't expecting to find this, but Marian and I had to go downtown recently, to an area we rarely go to and by chance, we saw a giant newsagents'. They sold magazines that don't make it to your neighbourhood kiosk. For just €3.95 I got this bundle, which included a *Naobay* face cream as a freebie that looks really nice. 
This is starting to resemble my hand cream situation. I have enough face cream for this life and the next between the ones I bought myself and the ones I get with magazines.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2019 (II)

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 - Desodorante Queen Helene:  Nos gusta utilizar desodorantes sin aluminio. Estos son bastante económicos, aunque hay que  comprarlos por Internet, en Vitacost o iHerb.
No son tan efectivos como los desodorantes tradicionales, pero claro, también son más sanos.

2 - Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika de Açai: Venía súper impregnada, tanto que me ha sobrado esencia como para 4 veces más. Cerré el sobrecito con una pinza y lo guardé en el frigorífico para conservarlo bien.

3 - Mascarilla nocturna de Laneige: Me ha durado bastante, ya que recomiendan usarla de 1 a 2 veces por semana. He ido alternando esta mascarilla con otros productos.
Lo cierto es que está muy bien. Es de esos productos coreanos que merece la pena probar, aunque sea sólo una vez.
De momento no repetiré, porque tengo en uso una de Narukö y tengo mascarillas de tissú también por gastar.
Podéis encontrarla en multitud de tiendas online, aunque yo la compré por Ebay.

4 - Mascarilla tissú de rosa de Innisfree: Me ha gustado mucho. Con razón es una de las mascarillas de este formato más populares. Si bien con otras marcas he notado frescor e hidratación, con ésta también he sentido un efecto tensor. Sobró también esencia para un par de días más.

5 - Esmalte base 'Nail Envy' de OPI (marox): Aunque todavía quedaba como la mitad del bote, se había espesado. Eso no es lo peor: las últimas veces que lo he usado, con distintos esmaltes, me ha sacado un montón de burbujas en las manicuras, así que sintiéndolo mucho, se ha ido directo a la basura.

6 - Bálsamo limpiador casero (marox): Fue un regalo de Marian. Aunque acababa de comprar uno coreano, decidí utilizar éste primero al no llevar conservantes. Lo cierto es que ha aguantado bien sin estropearse. La textura es bastante aceitosa y cuesta un poco repartirlo, pero ha cumplido su función. Como envase aprovechó el del bálsamo desmaquillante de TBS.

7 - Bálsamo labial Biocura (Aldi): Es una lástima que aquí no haya Aldi, porque tienen algunos productos muy apañados, como éstos bálsamos labiales. Vienen en un paquete de 3 y creo que no llega a 2€. Solemos aprovechar cuando estamos en nuestra tierra para acercarnos hasta Aldi y hacernos con algunos de sus productos.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 - Queen Helene deodorant: We like to use aluminium-free deodorants and these are quite affordable. The downside is that you need to order them online, from stores like Vitacost or iHerb.
They're not as effective as traditional deodorants, but since those are not as healthy I guess it's better this way.

2 - Holika Holika Açai Sheet Mask: This came super drenched in essence, to the point that I had leftover serum for 4 more applications. I used a clothes peg to close the pouch and kept it in the fridge to make sure it was good to use.

3 -  Laneige Sleeping Pack: This has lasted quite a long time, since the recommended use is once or twice a week. I used other things as well.
I honestly really enjoyed trying this. I'd say it's one of those K-beauty items you should try at least once.
I won't repurchase for now, as I'm currently using another one from Narukö and have several sheet masks to use too.
Available from countless online stores, I got mine off Ebay.

4  - Innisfree Rose Sheet Mask: I truly enjoyed this one. It's a bestselling sheet mask for good reason. Whereas with others I could feel my skin feeling fresh and moisturized, this one gave me a tightening effect too. There was enough leftover essence for two more applications.
 

5 - OPI 'Nail Envy' Basecoat (marox): Still half full, it had thickened out. The worst thing is that the last few times I used it, regardless of the polish I used on top, it created a gazillion tiny bubbles on that.
Needless to say, I had to throw it away.

6 - Homemade Cleansing Balm (marox): Marian made this for me, even though I had just bought a Korean one. Since hers did not have any preservatives, I decided to use that first. Truth be told, it has held up without going bad. It is a bit oily and harder to spread than store-bought ones, but it did the job.
The container was a recycled one from TBS's cleansing balm.

7 - Biocura lipbalm from Aldi: It sucks that there's no Aldi here, since they have a handful of skincare items worth trying and repurchasing, like these lipbalms. These come in a 3-count and are less than €2. We usually grab some stuff from Aldi whenever we are in our hometown.

Aquí venimos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

Hi girls,
Here we are with a new review of the stuff we've used up lately.

1 - Recambios Oral B: Aprovechamos el final / comienzo de año para cambiar los cabezales de nuestros cepillos, que renovamos cada tres meses.
Como sabéis, compramos estos recambios en el mercadillo local, porque los encontramos a muy buen precio.

2 - Manteca corporal de almendras de TBS: (marox) Es la primera que termino, aunque sí que he probado varias de las que compramos. La verdad es que si digo que me ha encantado es poco. La recomiendo si tenéis la piel seca (atópica incluso) y ponéis por delante la hidratación a los olores golosos. Me huele como a turrón, más o menos. Es muy untuosa, así que yo la aplico con la piel mojada para que cunda más.
Si recordáis, la compré en oferta al 50% en nuestro primer pedido y suele estar agotada, así que si tenéis la suerte de encontrarla (a buen precio) no dudéis en añadirla al carrito.

3 - Ampollas anticaída L'Oreal Professionnel: (marox) Compré estas ampollas junto con el champú para combatir la caída estacional del cabello. El aplicador resulta súper cómodo, a diferencia de otras ampollas que hay que romper para utilizar. Creo que me guardaré un par de ellas y el aplicador para algún invento. A modo de curiosidad, os diré que son del mismo tamaño que las de *Kérastase* Specifique que le regalamos a nuestra madre, así que el aplicador es perfectamente intercambiable.
No sé si repetiré con ellas o pruebe las de Kerastase la próxima vez.
Las compré en una tienda de productos de peluquería y me costaron casi 30 euros, pero las podéis encontrar mucho más baratas por internet.
 

4- Manteca corporal de TBS de arándano azul (Marian).
En cuanto a hidratación, me ha encantado, como todas las que voy probando hasta ahora de TBS.
La textura es más "mantecosa" que la de almendras, por ejemplo, que os ha enseñado Marox más arriba.
Si la aplicáis con la piel algo húmeda, os cundirá más el producto, y os resultará más fácil de extender. De lo contrario, tendrías que coger mucho producto.

5- Exfoliante corporal de arándano azul (Marian).
Lo he estado utilizando una vez por semana.
La exfoliación que realiza es adecuada, pero me gustan más los exfoliantes con el gránulo un poco más grande, así que probablemente no repita con ella.
Cuidado con el aspecto de este exfoliante, porque ¡parece mermelada!. No os vayan a dar ganas de coméroslo.
El olor es genial, y ya combinado con la manteca del mismo aroma, ni os cuento.



6- Crema de manos "Hands Care System" de Stanhome (Marian).
La he estado utilizando en épocas de mucho frío, porque me hidrata mucho las manos, que se me resecan mucho en esta época del año.
Me recuerda mucho a la crema de manos de Neutrogena, que también he probado (hace muchos años).
Aunque todavía le queda producto, hace tantos años que la tengo, que ya huele a rancio, así que creo que llegó el momento de tirarla.

7- Contorno de ojos de Biocura, de venta en supermercados Aldi (Marox). Compré este contorno de ojos hace años para mi madre y no lo ha usado demasiado, así que lo he ido usando yo los fines de semana y en algún viaje.
Ya no se vende éste en concreto, pero sí que recuerdo ver algunos y no son caros. Ya sabéis que somos fans de la cosmética coreana, pero si no os animáis a comprar por Internet, la composición de las cremas de Aldi es bastante natural.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por el momento, pero ya tenemos "en el horno" nuevos productos terminados.

1 - Oral B Replacement brush heads: New year, new brush heads for our electric brushes. We usually discard the heads every three months.
As you already know, we get these at the local street market, because we always find them at a very good price.

2 - Almond Body Butter from The Body Shop: (marox) It's the first one that I've used up, though I've tried some of the others we bought at the time too. Saying I love this would be kind of an understatement. I strongly recommend it if you have dry skin (or even atopic skin) and moisture is a higher priority for you than gourmand scents. I'd say the scent is reminiscent of nougat to me, kind of. It's quite buttery and goes on like a dream, though I apply it on wet skin to make the most of it.
If you remember, we got this during the TBS sales last year as part of our very first order. We got it 50% off and it is usually sold out, so if you're lucky enough to find it at a reasonable price, don't hesitate and add it to your basket.



3 - L'Oreal Professionnel Anti-Hairloss Ampoules: (marox) I bought these ampoules together with their shampoo to bring my lacklustre hair back to life, as I was struggling with seasonal hairloss. I cannot help but praise the applicator, as it is the most convenient I have tried so far. Much better than those ampoules you have to break off to use. And now it may be interesting to point out that the ampoules are exactly the same size as the *Kérastase* Specifique ones we gave my mum recently. Therefore, their applicators are fully interchangeable.
Don't know if I'll repurchase this or try the Kerastase ones instead next time.
I bought these at a local beauty supplies store and I paid nearly €30, but you can find them cheaper online.

4- TBS Blueberry Body Butter (Marian). As far as moisture goes, I loved this, just like all the other TBS butters I've been trying lately.
The texture feels more 'buttery' than say, the almond one Marox showed above.
If you apply it on damp skin, it will be easier to spread and the tub will last you longer. Otherwise, you'll have to be more heavyhanded with the application.



5- TBS Blueberry Body Scrub (Marian): I've been using this once a week. The exfoliation you get with it is average, as I tend to favour scrubs with bigger beads, so I don't think I'll be buying this again.
On the plus side, this scrub seriously looks like jam! Bear in mind it is not suitable for consumption.
The scent is heavenly and even more so when combined with the body butter in this range.

6- 'Hands Care System' hand cream from Stanhome (Marian).
I've been using it in the cold weather, because it moisturizes my hands very well. My hands get very dry at this time.
It reminds me of the Neutrogena hand cream that I tried (many years ago).
Though there's some product left, I've had this cream for so many years that now it smells funky, so I think it's time to throw it away.



7- Eye contour cream from Biocura, sold at Aldi supermarkets (Marox). I bought this eye cream for my mum several years ago and she didn't use it much, so I've used it at weekends and the odd trip.
It was discontinued long ago, but they do have other eye creams and they're very reasonably priced. You know how much we love Asian skincare, but if you still haven't jumped on the online shopping bandwagon, you may take a look at Aldi for cheap, mostly organic skincare.

Productos terminados - 'Finito' products (#23).

Aquí estamos de nuevo con una reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Maquillaje Mineralize Satinfinish de MAC, en el tono NW25 (Marian).
Lo compré en la tienda MAC del aeropuerto de Barajas, antes de embarcarnos en nuestro viaje a Berlín, del que os hablamos en una de las primeras entradas de este blog.
No sé si con el tiempo se ha ido oscureciendo o qué, pero la verdad es que por sí sola esta base se ve más oscura que mi tono de piel, y es un efecto que no me gusta en absoluto.
Así que para no dejarla en el olvido (lo que me daría rabia, pues no es precisamente barata), he estado usándola mezclándola con mi BB cream.
Como las BB creams asiáticas suelen ser muy claras, esta combinación ha resultado perfecta para conseguir mi tono de piel.



2- Esponja de limpieza facial de Stanhome (Marian).
Nos regalaron varias de estas esponjas en un pedido que hicimos a Stanhome hace ya varios años.
La he estado utilizando para retirar restos de mascarilla facial, exfoliantes... ese tipo de cosas.
La verdad es que me ha encantado.
Esta que veis en realidad es media esponja, que me resultaba más manejable.
Tengo otra esponja entera sin usar, de la que haré dos, así que tendré para un montón de tiempo.
¿Y cuando se me acabe? Pues tienen unas similares en Mercadona, así que no hay problema.

3- Crema corporal con aceite de jojoba (Deliplus).
La hemos estado usando las dos, y la verdad es que nos ha gustado mucho.
La verdad es que hasta la fecha, todas las cremas corporales de Mercadona nos han gustado. Evidentemente, las habrá mejores en cuanto a hidratación y composición, pero hay variedad para elegir, y sobre todo están a buen precio. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?



4- Cabezal cepillo eléctrico Oral B Trizone (Marian).
Este es el cabezal que traía el cepillo cuando Marox me lo regaló por mi cumpleaños.
He estado apurándolo todo lo que he podido, y os puedo decir que me ha encantado.
Ahora estoy usando otro tipo de cabezal (redondo), y no sé, creo que me gusta más el primero.

5- Exfoliante facial microdermabrasión Dr. Brandt (formato tubo) (Marox).
Este formaba parte de un kit de productos de la marca que compró Marian en Sephora, aprovechando los precios locos.
Como Marian ya tenía (y tiene todavía) la versión en tarro (que trae más cantidad), me dio ésta a mí.
En cuanto al producto, nada que objetar, pues ya lo conocía, y me ha gustado mucho.
Pero sí tengo algo que objetar hacia el envase, pues no se aprovecha todo el producto. Por la razón que sea, se quedaba bloqueado en el envase y costaba la vida misma sacarlo de ahí.
Cuando ya parecía que no salía más producto, he cortado el envase y todavía he tenido para varias aplicaciones.



6- Crema contorno de ojos de Biocura (ALDI) (Marox).
Muy baratita y con una composición muy natural, como casi todos los productos de belleza de estos supermercados alemanes. Eso sí, prefería la versión antigua de este producto, ya que tenía una textura más agradable. Esta recuerda demasiado a una crema solar y en comparación con la otra, se queda algo corta de hidratación.

Bien, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

Here we are again with a new quick review of the products we've used up recently.

1- Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation from MAC, in the shade NW25 (Marian).
I bought it at the MAC store in Madrid-Barajas International Airport, before boarding our flight to Berlin, a trip we told you about in one of our first blogposts.
I don't know if it has turned darker over time, but the truth is that this foundation is too dark for me, and I don't like that effect at all.
I didn't want it to rot in oblivion (which would make me angry, because it's not exactly cheap), so I've been using it by mixing it with my BB cream.
Since Asian BB creams tend to be of very light shades, this combination was just perfect to match my skintone.

2- Face cleansing sponge from Stanhome (Marian).
We got some of these with an order from Stanhome we made some years ago.
I've been using it to remove any residues of face masks, face scrub... and so on.
I really love it.
What you see here is actually half a sponge, which is much more handy.
I have another new sponge that I will again cut in half, so they'll last me a long time.
And what will happen when it's used up? Well, similar ones are sold at Mercadona, so there's no problem.



3- Body butter with jojoba oil from Deliplus.
We've both been using this and we like it very much.
Actually, we like all the body butters from Mercadona that we've tried so far. There will probably be better ones out there in terms of hydration and ingredients, but there are many different ones to choose from, and they're fairly reasonably good priced. What else can we ask for?

4- Trizone Electric toothbrush head from Oral B (Marian).
This is the same head that came with the toothbrush that Marox gave me for my birthday.
I've been using it as much as I could, and I can say that I love it.
Now I'm using a different type of brush head (one of the round ones from OralB), and I think I like the first one better.



5- Microdermabrasion face scrub from Dr. Brandt (in tube format) (Marox).
This one was included in a kit of trial-sized products that Marian bought at Sephora, as it was discounted during their Crazy Prices sales.
Since Marian already had (and still has) the one that comes in a jar with more product, she gave me this one.
As for the product, nothing to object here, because I've already tried it, and I like it very much.
But the packaging does deserve a smackdown, because I took pains to get product out of it, talk about use it up entirely.
When it seemed I could no longer get any, I cut the tube and I managed to scrape enough product for several uses.

6- Eye cream from Biocura (ALDI) (Marox).
It's very cheap and with a very natural ingredient list, as most of the beauty products from these German discount supermarkets.
However, I preferred the old version of this product, because the texture was much nicer. This new one reminds me of sunscreen and when comparing it to the older one, it falls short in the moisturizing department.

Productos terminados - 'Finito' products (#22).

Aquí venimos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente. Vamos allá.

1- Polvos compactos Essence "All about matt" (Marox).
Había leído reseñas muy favorables de este producto, aunque en su versión en polvos sueltos, y cuando vi éste en formato compacto, me llamó mucho la atención, y al final fue el que compré. Pensé que sería más adecuado para llevar de viaje, por ejemplo.
Lamentablemente, lo he usado muy poco tiempo, porque un día se me cayó "de las manazas" y se rompió en mil pedazos.
Marian ha intentado recomponerlo, pero no ha sido capaz. Se vuelve a cuartear, así que, con dolor de mi corazón, he decidido tirarlo.



2- Aceite de almendras Deliplus (Marian).
Lo he estado usando sobre todo para fabricar el desmaquillante de ojos casero que os enseñé hace ya tiempo.
Pero no es el único uso que le he dado. También retira muy bien los restos de cera después de la depilación.

3- Body spray "Nectar of Nature" con aroma de pétalos de rosa (Les Cosmetiques) (Marian).
Como ya sabréis, nos encantan este tipo de productos para perfumar ligeramente nuestro cuerpo después de la ducha.
Nunca repetimos con el mismo aroma, porque nos gusta cambiar.



4- Bálsamo labial Biocura (Marian).
Hacía ya bastante tiempo que lo había comprado y lo tenía un poco olvidado.
Pues desde que lo rescaté del olvido le he dado una caña increíble. Tanto que ya se me ha terminado en poco tiempo.
Me parece un producto adecuado para mantener la hidratación de los labios, y evitar que éstos se resequen por el frío, la calefacción, etc.
Pero para labios muy resecos o agrietados, no es el producto más adecuado, desde mi punto de vista.

5- Hidratante efecto luminoso Deliplus (Marian).
Reconozco que esta manteca era más adecuada para el verano, para que las partículas brillantes que tiene resalten el bronceado, pero yo la he estado utilizando después del verano.
Me gusta el efecto que deja en la piel. Tiene un olor y una textura agradables y deja la piel muy hidratada.
A marox le resultó algo más difícil de extender que otros productos similares de la marca.



Bien, pues esto ha sido todo por el momento.

Here we are with a new review of the items we've used up recently.
Let's go.

1- Compact powder from Essence 'All about matt' (Marox).
I had read several reviews praising this product, but in its loose powder version. So, when I saw the compact powder, it definitely caught my attention and was the one I finally bought. I thought it would be more appropriate to carry with me when travelling, for example.
Unfortunately, I'd been using it for a very short time when one day it fell off my clumsy hands and broke into a thousand pieces.
Marian tried to press it back together with some rubbing alcohol, without success. It keeps cracking, so I decided to throw it away (with all the pain in my heart).

2- Almond oil from Deliplus (Marian).
I've used this mainly to make my homemade eye make-up remover I already showed you in in a DIY post here a long time ago.
But this is not the only use I've given it. It removes perfectly all the leftover wax residues after epilation.



3- Rose-petal scented 'Nectar of Nature' Body spray from Les Cosmetiques (Carrefour's own brand) (Marian).
As you surely know, we love body sprays to lightly scent our body after a shower.
We never repurchase the same scent, because we like to change.

4- Lipbalm from Biocura (Marian).
I bought it quite long ago, but I had it almost unused.
But since I rescued it from oblivion, I've been using it very often, to the point that I used it up in almost no time.
I think it's fine to keep your lips moisturized, and prevent them from getting dry as a result of the cold weather, heating, etc.
But in my opinion, this is not the most suitable balm for very dry or chapped lips.



5- 'Luminous Effect' Body butter from Deliplus (Marian).
I reckon this body butter is more suitable for the summer, because of the shimmer particles meant to highlight your tan, but I've been using it after summertime.
I like the effect it leaves on the skin. Both its scent and texture are very nice and it leaves your skin soft and moisturized.
Marox thought this one was a tad more difficult to spread than other similar products from the brand.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' products

¿Preparadas para conocer los productos que hemos "finiquitado" últimamente?
Pues aquí los tenéis.

Hello, my lovelies!
Are you ready to see the products we've used up lately? Well, here you have them.

1- Máscara de pestañas 'Blackmania' de Essence: Ya llevaba un tiempo queriéndola dar por terminada, pero como todavía seguía saliendo producto... Tengo otra igual para usar y probablemente aproveche la discontinuación para hacerme con alguna otra para tener repuesto, si es que queda alguna.
Antes de tirarla, limpié el cepillito para que le sirviera a mi madre para teñirse las cejas.

2 - Colonia de imitación de Saphir 'Pink' (= Flower by Kenzo): Hace ya bastantes años que gastamos los perfumes de imitación de esta marca, de venta en algunas cadenas de perfumería tipo Avenida y perfumerías locales. Traen 200ml, así que duran un montón y cuestan unos 13€, dependiendo de dónde lo compréis. Ultimamente, les estamos siendo "infieles" con los de "La Botica de los Perfumes", que si bien traen menos cantidad tiene algunas imitaciones (no todas, ojo) más logradas que las de Saphir.

3 - Bálsamo de labios de Biocura (supermercados Aldi): Vienen en paquetes de tres y no llegan a dos euros. Tienen una composición muy natural y son muy hidratantes, aunque si los queréis usar antes de pintaros los labios es mejor no ser muy generosa al aplicarlo o retirar el exceso con un tissu.
Truco: Saqué el producto restante con ayuda de un palito y lo mezclé con un bálsamo de Essence que me resulta algo seco y mejoró un montón. ¡Aquí no se tira nada!

4 - Esmalte base de P2: Doy ya por terminada esta base para las uñas que compramos en Berlín hace ya varios años, en las perfumerías DM (de visita obligada si vais a Alemania). Ya estaba muy espesa y el pincel no llegaba a coger el producto del fondo. Está muy bien para el precio que tiene y no me importaría repetir si tuviera acceso a la marca. (Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren von DM - Bitte öffnen Sie DM-Geschäfte in Spanien!!).

5- Champú Oro líquido de Deliplús. Hemos estado usándolo las dos, pero sobre todo Marian. Nos ha gustado la textura cremosa y el olor que deja en el pelo.
Lo compramos cuando formaba parte de un pack que incluía además, el sérum y la mascarilla. Ahora que se pueden comprar los productos por separado, no descartamos repetir.

6- Exfoliante corporal "Flake Away" de Soap&Glory. También hemos estado usándola las dos, y nos ha encantado. Tiene el gránulo bastante grueso, y realmente notas su acción exfoliante, pero no es nada agresivo. Además, tiene un olor sutil y agradable. No nos importaría repetir, si el acceso a la marca fuera más fácil.
Tenemos entendido que se venden productos de la marca en eBay, así que si éste se encuentra entre ellos, repetir con él no será tan difícil.

7- Limpiador facial "Yes to Blueberries" de Sephora (Marian). No digo que no limpie la piel, pero deja una sensación de grasa en la piel que no me termina de gustar. Bastante grasa tengo de por sí, como para utilizar un producto limpiador que me deje esa misma sensación.
No repetiré con él.



Estos han sido los productos que hemos terminado más recientemente.
¿Habéis usado alguno de ellos? ¿Qué opinión os merecen?

1- Essence 'Blackmania' mascara: I'd been meaning to officially call it finished, but I could already get product... I have another one as back up and I might get a different one that is being discontinued in the future -if there are any left, that is.
Before tossing it away, I thoroughly cleaned the wand to help my mum dye her eyebrows.

 2- Imitation perfume by Saphir ('Pink' = Flower by Kenzo): We've been using these perfumes for many years. They're sold at many drugstore chains such as Avenida or local drugstores. The bottles have 200ml, so they will last you a long time. They cost about €13, depending on where you get them.
We're being 'unfaithful' to them lately, ever since we discovered those from 'La Botica de los Perfumes'.  Even if those are smaller, some (not all of them) of their copies are very true to the original scent and better to the Saphir versions.

3 -  Biocura lipbalm (from ALDI supermarkets): They come in a lot of three and are less than €2. The INCI has mostly natural ingredients and are very moisturising, though if you intend to use them prior to putting on some lipstick, it's best either not to be heavy handed on the application or to blot your lips a bit.
Tip: I scooped the remaining product with a toothpick and mixed it with an Essence lipbalm that is on the dry side and it worked wonders.
Here's to using products up to the very end!!


4 - P2 Basecoat: There's some product still left but it is very thick and I have a hard time getting it from the bottom of the bottle with the brush. We bought this a few years ago during our trip to Berlin at a DM drugstore (a must-see if you ever visit Germany). It's quite good for the low price and I wouldn't mind repurchasing if I had ready access to the brand (Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren von DM - Bitte öffnen Sie DM-Geschäfte in Spanien!!)



5- 'Liquid Gold' shampoo from Deliplus (sold at Mercadona supermarkets). We both have been using it, especially Marian. We like both the creamy texture and the scent it leaves on the hair.
We bought it when it was included in a pack, together with a serum and a hair mask.
Now that we can buy these products separately, we wouldn't mind buying it again.

6- 'Flake Away' body scrub from Soap&Glory.
We both have been using it as well, and we liked it very much. The scrub particles are big enough to notice their exfoliating action, though it is not overly aggresive. Besides, it has a nice, sweet but subtle scent. We wouldn't mind repurchasing if we had better access to the brand.
You can find many products from this brand on eBay, so if this one is among them, getting it again won't be that hard.



7- Facial cleansing cream 'Yes to blueberries', sold at Sephora (Marian).
Well, I'm not saying that it doesn't clean well, but it leaves a greasy feeling on the skin, which I don't like. My skin is oily enough on its own for me to use a product that leaves yet the same feeling. I won't be repeating with it.

Productos terminados / Finito Products (XII).

Aquí venimos con una nueva entrega de nuestros productos terminados.

1. BB cream Vita Matte de Missha, en el tono 21 (Marian).
Esta BB cream me ha cundido muchísimo, prácticamente dos años. He estado usándola prácticamente a diario, y creo que desde que hice esta foto hasta que realmente la he terminado ha pasado más de un mes.
Debo decir que me ha encantado. Tiene una cobertura fantástica. El único pero es que deja un aspecto un poco "fantasmal" en la piel (quizá sea debido a su alta cobertura), sobre todo recién aplicada. Después, no se nota tanto.
Aunque me ha encantado, probaré otras de otras marcas. He probado una muestra de la Luminous Silk de Holika Holika que me ha dejado tan gratamente sorprendida que seguramente será mi próxima BB cream.

2. Peine para cejas y pestañas de Marionnaud (Marian).
Como veis en la foto, está para tirarlo.
Ya lo he repuesto con otro que os enseñaremos próximamente.

3. Crema de contorno de ojos de Biocura (Aldi).
Marox buscaba una crema para el contorno de ojos que no fuera demasiado cara, y dio con ésta. Como ingrediente antiarrugas, tiene coenzima Q10.
Se extiende muy bien y deja sensación de hidratación en esa zona tan delicada del rostro.

4. Crema hidratante matificante de la línea My Skin, de Essence (Marian).
Es lo más matificante del mundo mundial, con una textura y un olor muy agradables.
No descarto volverla a comprar (además es baratísima), pero de momento estoy utilizando otra que me regaló Marox por Navidad (de la que ya os hablaré), y con la que estoy encantada. Y cunde muchísimo, así que me va a durar mucho tiempo. Y hasta ahí puedo leer.

5. Manteca corporal de frutos rojos, de la línea Fruit Fusion, de Deliplus.
La hemos estado usando las dos, y nos ha encantado. Y es que Mercadona siempre acierta con este tipo de productos.
Deja la piel hidratada, se absorbe enseguida y huele fenomenal. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?

6. Bálsamo labial de Essence, de la edición limitada "I love Berlin", en el tono "City Lights" (Marian).
Es transparente, y con bastante purpurina.
Alguna vez me lo he puesto para salir a la calle (cuando voy sin maquillar, que lo hago alguna vez), pero normalmente lo he estado usando antes de irme a dormir, para no levantarme con los labios llenos de pellejitos.
Aunque no se puede comparar con los bálsamos que podéis encontrar en farmacias, cumple bastante bien su función.
Desde que hice esta foto lo he seguido usando hasta que ya no ha habido más donde rascar, jeje.

Here we are with a new post about our latest 'finito' products.

1. Vita Matte BB cream from Missha, in the shade 21 (Marian).
This BB cream went a long way and I've been using it for almost two years.
I've been using it almost daily, and I think it's been more than a month since I took this pic until the day I eventually used it up.
I must say that I love it. Coverage is great. The only con is that it leaves some kind of a 'ghostly' cast on the skin (maybe due to its high coverage), especially when just applied. After that, it's not so noticeable.
Even though I liked it so much, I'll try other ones from other brands. I've tried a sample of Luminous Silk from Holika Holika, which has left me so pleasantly surprised that it'll surely be my next BB cream.
2. Brow/eyelashes comb from Marionnaud (Marian).
As you can see on the pic, it looks ready to be thrown away.
I've replaced it with another we're showing you soon.



3. Eye contour cream from Biocura (Aldi).
Marox was looking for an inexpensive eye contour cream, and she found this one.
As an antiwrinkle ingredient, it contains Q10-coenzyme.
It applies easily and it leaves a moisturizing feeling on such a delicate part of the face.

4. Mattifying/moisturizing cream from the range 'My Skin' from Essence (Marian).
This is the most mattifying cream in the entire world, with a nice texture and a pleasant scent.
I don't rule out the possibility of buying a new one (it's very, very cheap), but at the moment I'm using another moisturizer that Marox gave me for Christmas (I'll soon tell you about it), which I like very much. Besides, a little product goes a long way, so I think I'll be using it for a long time.
This is all that I can tell you.





5. Body butter, from the 'Fruit fusion' range, from Deliplus (available at Mercadona supermarkets, only sold in Spain).
We both have been using it, and we love it. 
In fact, Mercadona always gets it right with this kind of products.
It leaves your skin moisturized, is absorbed at once and it smells heavenly good. What else can we ask for?

6. Lipbalm from Essence, from the LE 'I love Berlin', in the shade 'City Lights' (Marian).
It's sheer and sparkling.
I've used it a few times when I go out (without any make-up on, which happens sometimes), but I 've normally been using it before going to sleep, to avoid getting up the following morning with my lips full of dead skin.
Although it's not comparable with the ones you can get at the Chemist's, it works quite fine.
Since I took this pic, I've been using it until I couldn't scrabble anymore, lol.

So these ones have been our 'finito' products so far.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul

Aqui estamos de nuevo para enseñaros las últimas compras de belleza que hemos hecho. 

Here we are again ready to show you our latest beauty purchases.

1- Placas de estampación de Essence: [Marox] - Vi estas placas en varios blog y me parecieron unos diseños muy modernos y distintos a los que ya tenían así que en la siguiente visita a Bodybell en Zamora (donde han puesto también mueble de tratamiento, ¡yupiiii!), cayeron. Aún no las he estrenado.

2- Crema de manos de aceite de oliva de Biocura (Aldi): Con el sello BDIH que certifica que la mayoría de sus componentes proceden de la agricultura biológica controlada. Precio 1,49€ por 75ml de producto. Curiosamente, en el nuevo supermercado Aldi que abrió hace poco aquí no tenían esta crema, sino otra de aloe vera. La llevo usando ya unas semanas y me gusta mucho. Hidrata bien las manos sin dejar sensación grasienta.

3- Protector labial, también de Aldi (Pack de 3): Había de tres variedades diferentes, uno con leche y miel, éstos para pieles sensibles con aceite de argán y otros con aceite de aguacate entre otros ingredientes. Salvo el de leche y miel que tenía FPS6, los otros dos son con FPS15 y ninguno de ellos contiene aceites minerales ni conservantes. ¡Ya quisieran muchos protectores labiales de farmacia tener esa composición! Tirados de precio... ¡y vienen tres! así que si necesitáis algún bálsamo labial para llevar en el bolso y no queréis gastaros mucho, éstos son fabulosos. Fue mi madre quien los quería y nos los repartimos, y a ella le han gustado tanto que en otra visita compramos otro paquete igual, para que pueda tener siempre uno a mano.

4 - Contorno de ojos (Aldi): Y sí, esto está empezando a parecer un publirreportaje del supermercado alemán, pero qué le voy a hacer, el contorno de ojos que estoy usando es de Aldi. Aunque ya no venden el que yo uso, he decidido probar con el que han sacado para sustituirlo. No tengo demasiada fé en este tipo de productos, pero el que uso al menos cumple con mis expectativas: me hidrata la piel sin dejármela grasienta, no tiene **brillitos** ni historias raras.  Al igual que los dos productos anteriores, me gustó la composición e ingredientes de cultivo biológico. Aún no lo he probado.

Este bien podría ser un "haul" de cosmética de bajo coste. ¿No os parece?

1- Essence stamping plates: [Marox] - I saw these new plates in several blogs and thought the images were very modern and different from what the already existing ones that I couldn't resist getting these plates on my next visit to the local Bodybell (where they added the nail art display too!, yipee!). Haven't tried them yet.

2 - Olive oil hand cream from Biocura (Aldi): BDIH-certified, most of its ingredients come from controlled biological sources. Price is just 1.49 EUR and it contains 75ml. Strangely enough, the new Aldi supermarket that opened here recently did not have this olive hand cream, but an aloe vera one. Have been using this for a couple of weeks and like it very much. Keeps my hands moisturised and yet not greasy.

3- Lipbalm, also from Aldi (comes in a 3-pack): Available in three different varieties, one containing milk and honey, this one for sensitive skin with argan oil and the other ones with avocado oil among other ingredients. Except for the milk&honey one that had only SPF6, the other two have SPF15 and none of them contains mineral oils or preserving agents. Not even lipbalms from the pharmacy have such good ingredients list! The fact that these are dirt cheap doesn't hurt either... and you get three! so if you're on the hunt for a good lipbalm to throw in your purse and don't want to break the bank, these are absolutely great. It was actually my mum who needed these and decided to share them with us, but she's so pleased with them we went back to get a second pack to make sure she always has one handy.

 4 - Eye contour cream (Aldi): Yes, I know. This is beginning to sound like an advertorial, but what can I say? The eye cream I've been using for some time was from Aldi and so I decided to repurchase, even though they have discontinued that and launched a different one instead. I have to confess I don't have much faith in this sort of creams, though at least this cheap one I'm using ticks all the boxes for me: leaves the skin around my eyes moisturised but not greasy, has no illuminating **shimmer** or any other weird stuff of the sort. Like with the previous two products, I was drawn by the quality of the ingredients, from controlled biological sources. Haven't used it yet.

This could be a 'low-cost cosmetics haul'. What do you think?
