Regalos revistas Diciembre 2018 / December 2018 Magazine freebies

Hola, chicas:

Este mes que parecía bastante previsible en cuanto a regalos de revistas (agendas y más agendas y suplementos por doquier) ha resultado ser de lo mejorcito que ha habido últimamente.

Abrí el post antes de hacerme con las revistas. Éstas han sido las elegidas.


1 - Divinity: Trae diferentes productos labiales de *Nyx* y un libro de suspense. En el primer quiosco que entré tenían un tono muy poco ponible y preferí esperar. En el tercer quiosco que visité conseguí hacerme con el que quería, uno ponible de la linea Lingerie en el tono 'Lipli 07 - Satin Ribbon'. La revista cuesta 3,95€ y los labiales los tenéis en la web de Nyx a 7,90€.
No lo he probado aún porque he estado acatarrada y no tenía los labios muy allá. Eso sí, la prueba en el brazo tardó bastante en irse.

2 - Glamour Pocket: Por 3€, podéis haceros con una minimanteca de The Body Shop, disponible en tres variedades distintas: mango, Berry Bon Bon y vainilla con nubes. Las dos últimas son de edición limitada. Trae también una ampolla facial de Martiderm.
El tercer sitio en el que miré sí que las tenía, una de mango y el resto de frutos rojos, que como véis es la que cogí.
Las mantecas pequeñas de TBS tienen un precio de 6€ en tienda.



 

Y he aquí las dos revistas y los respectivos regalos que se me han escapado. Mi hermana irá en unos días a Zamora, pero no creo que allí haya más suerte. 

- Cosmopolitan: Trae productos de Nyx. Esperaba hacerme con algún iluminador en polvo, pero aquí no hay llegado los regalos buenos. Lo más que he visto ha sido una paleta de iluminadores. Valen 10,50€ y tienen muy buenas opiniones.
A ver si papá Noel me trae algo parecido como regalo de consolación, como alguno de los iluminadores en polvo de WetnWild.

 - InStyle: Espuma de EL de Rituals. En muchos kioskos ha llegado una crema corporal tamaño viaje que ya ha salido otras veces, de color rojo. Como lo único que merecía la pena coger por el precio de la revista - 4,95€ - era la espuma y ha sido imposible hacerme con ella, la he dejado pasar. Me da mucha rabia que los regalos buenos sólo lleguen a ciertas ciudades. Recuerdo cierta ocasión en que una revista trajo el aceite de Nuxe en tamaño venta en muy pocas ciudades y NADA en otras. Me parece una tomadura de pelo.
Suele salir más a cuenta cuando la trae alguna revista más barata, la verdad.
En la web de Rituals tenéis la espuma The Ritual of Yalda a 8,50€. Contiene granada y sandía.

It seemed at first that the month of December was going to be downright boring when it came to magazine freebies in Spain (with planners and Christmas specials all over the place), but it turned out to be one of the best ones lately.

I actually opened the post before I could get my hands on the magazines that looked the most promising. Here are my picks.


1 - Divinity: The freebies are different *Nyx* lip products, as well as a novel, a thriller by Frederick Forsyth. The first newsagent's I checked didn't have a wearable shade and I decided to try others. I'm glad I did because I found the one I wanted from their Lingerie range, shade 'Lipli 07 - Satin Ribbon'.
Magazine was €3.95 and these lippies retail at €7.90 on the Spanish Nyx website.
I haven't tested this on my lips just yet, as I had a cold recently and my lips were all dry and chapped. However, the swatch you see on my inner lower arm took some time to vanish. 

2 -  Glamour Pocket: For €3 you can grab a TBS travel-sized body butter. They are available in three different varieties: Mango, Berry Bon Bon and Vanilla Marshmallow. The third place I checked out had one in mango and the others were all Berry, which is the one I grabbed.
The TBS mini body butters retail at €6, so it's not a bad deal at all.

And here are the ones that got away. My sister will be going to our hometown in a few days, but I doubt she'll have better luck getting those -with the freebies I wanted- there either. 

- Cosmopolitan: It's got different Nyx products. I was hoping I could get my hands on one of the two powder highlighters. They retail at €10,50 and have great online reviews. Since the magazine is only €1.50 it is a great deal indeed. Unfortunately the only halfway decent freebie I found was the concealer palette. 
Maybe Santa will surprise me with a similar thing as consolation, like one of the WetnWild powder highlighters.

-  InStyle: Rituals LE shower foam. Others come with a travel sized body cream that has been offered as a freebie several times already. It comes in a red tube.
The magazine sells for €4.95. It is usually more worth your while when it comes with one of the cheaper magazines, to be honest.
Since the only freebie that was worth getting for what you have to pay for the magazine itself was the shower foam, I refused to get the other item.  I'm really pissed off when good freebies are only sent to certain cities. There was one time when a magazine had a full sized Nuxe oil in a few cities and NOTHING elsewhere. I don't like being messed around or taken for a fool.
The Ritual of Yalda shower foam retails at €8.50 on their website. It contains pomegranate and watermelon extracts.

Look "Red Bean Pie".

Como os dije en *esta* entrada, aquí os traigo el look que me hice hace unos días para un evento.

Siempre me suelo maquillar a juego con la ropa que llevo, así que busqué los colores más parecidos que tenía.
Aquí podéis ver lo que he utilizado.

En el rostro, he utilizado mi prebase de ArtDeco (que hacía tiempo que no utilizaba), y encima, mi BB cream Luminous Silk. Ahora ya no la mezclo con nada, pues la verdad es que unos minutos después de aplicarla, ya no se ve tan clara. Como corrector,  usé uno en barra de Deliplús, que compré hace tiempo y tenía sin estrenar. He decidido usar mis "potis tristes".
Como colorete, he usado el de Alverde en el tono "Flamingo".
También usé el dúo "Be a perfect 10" de Benefit (el bronceador para contornear y el iluminador).

En los ojos, utilicé mi prebase de Rival de Loop (ya no queda mucho), y después, la sombra "Red Bean Pie" de NYX (de ahí el nombre del look), en el párpado móvil. Para marcar la cuenca, usé la sombra marrón oscura mate de la paleta "Undressed" de MUA. Para marcar la V externa, utilicé la sombra gris oscura con brillos. También usé esta misma sombra bajo las pestañas inferiores.
Y para iluminar, utilicé la sombra color vainilla de esta paleta.
Para la línea superior de pestañas, usé el delineador líquido en negro de P2, y el lápiz negro automático de Yves Rocher para la línea de agua de las pestañas inferiores.
Como máscara de pestañas, usé la Big Bold de NYC.



Para los labios, utilicé el Megashine Lipgloss de NYX en el tono "Burgundy". Hay que tener cuidado al aplicarlo, pero la verdad es que me encanta su pigmentación, y el color es precioso.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por el momento.

As I told you in *this* post, here I am to share with you the make-up look I wore some days ago for a special occasion.

I always tend to match the colours in my make-up with those of my clothing, so I looked for the most similar ones that I had.
This is what I used.



For the face, I used my ArtDeco Face Primer -which I haven't used for a long time-, and on top, my Luminous Silk BB cream. Now I'm not mixing it with anything else, because after a few minutes it's not that light. As a concealer, I used one from Deliplus that comes in a stick, which I bought a long time ago and had unused. I've decided to use my 'long time forgotten make-up stuff'.
As a blush, I used the one from Alverde in the shade 'Flamingo'.
I also used the duo 'Be a perfect 10' from Benefit (both the bronzer and the highlighter).

As for the eyes, I used my eyeshadow primer from Rival de Loop (there's not much left), and after that, the 'Red Bean Pie' eyeshadow from NYX this look gets its name from on the upper lid. For the crease, I used the matt dark brown eyeshadow from the 'Undressed' palette from MUA. To mark the outer V, I used the dark grey one with shimmer, which I also used for the lower lashline.
And to highlight the browbone, I used the vanilla eyeshadow from this palette.
For the upper lashline, I used the liquid eyeliner in black from P2, and the automatic eye pencil in black from Yves Rocher for the waterline.
As for the mascara, I used the Big Bold from NYC.

For the lips, I used the Megashine Lipgloss from NYX in the shade 'Burgundy'. I had to be very careful when applying it, but I truly love both its great pigmentation and beautiful shade.

Hacía ya mucho tiempo desde mi última entrega de "Parecidos Razonables", pero he encontrado últimamente entre mis productos de maquillaje un parecido que me apetecía compartir con vosotras.

Hace poco más de un mes, marox me regaló el labial de YSL Rouge Volupté Perle #106.
Cuando me lo probé, pensé: Este lo dejaré para cuando me disfrace de gótica.

Y entonces pensé que eso ya lo había dicho antes. ¿Dónde? Pues *aquí*.
Esto nos lleva al segundo producto de la comparación.

It's been quite a long since I featured any 'Reasonable Lookalikes', but I've recently found among my make-up products a similarity I'd like to share with you.

A bit more than a month ago, marox gave me the lipstick from YSL Rouge Volupté Perle #106. When I swatched it, I thought: I'll save this for when I dress up like a goth girl.

Then I thought I had told that before. Where? *Here*.

This leads us to the second product of the comparison.

En cuanto a la textura, el de YSL es más cremoso, y para conseguir la misma cobertura, es necesario dar más pasadas.
Sin embargo, el de NYX es más cubriente de una sola pasada, pero sin resecar los labios.


No sé si se puede decir que son clones. Juzgad vosotras mismas.

In terms of the texture, YSL lipstick is more creamy than the NYX one, and you need more swipes to get the same colour payoff.
However, the coverage of the NYX is better with only one swipe, but without drying the lips.

I don't know if they could be regarded as dupes. Judge for yourselves.

Look "Verde de envidia" (especialmente dedicado a Gadirroja) - Look "Green envy" (specially dedicated to Gadirroja).

Iba a decir que esta es la primera vez que subo un look, pero en realidad es la segunda. El primero que subí fue éste, de cuando compré mi primer producto de MAC, en la tienda del aeropuerto de Madrid-Barajas.

I was about to say that this is the first time I upload a look, but actually is the second one. The first one was this, when I bought my first MAC product, at the Madrid-Barajas airport store.

Pero este que subo ahora sí es el primero hecho por mí, aunque la idea no es mía (ojalá), sino de Gadirroja, a quien va especialmente dedicada esta entrada.

But this one you're about to see is the first one made by myself, althouth the idea is not originally mine (wish it was), but Gadirroja's, whom this post is specially dedicated.

Esta bloguera tan simpática ha dedicado (o está dedicando) una serie de entradas a hacer looks inspirados en los 7 pecados capitales. Si bien todos los que ha hecho hasta ahora me han gustado, el que ha hecho inspirado en la envidia me ha gustado especialmente, porque ha combinado colores que a mí jamás se me hubiera ocurrido combinar.

This lovely blogger has dedicated (or is dedicating) a series of posts for looks inspired on the 7 deadly sins. While I like all the looks she has made so far, I specially like the 'Envy' inspired look, because she has combined colours that I'd never think of using together.

Regalo sorpresa - Surprise gift.

Marox ha querido darme una sorpresa prenavideña, en la que por cierto, se ha compinchado con Salander para pedirle consejo, y la verdad es que tanto mi hermana como su cómplice han estado muy acertadas.

Pero esta vez no me lo ha traído nuestro querido cartero, porque lo he recibido a través de agencia de transporte. Hizo el pedido a LadyBelleza.

Marox wanted to give me a 'before Christmas surprise', and by the way, she asked Salander for advice, and I must say that both my sister and her accomplice have chosen well.
But this time our beloved postman didn't bring it to me, as shipping was done through a transport agengy. Marox placed the order at a Spanish online beauty store, LadyBelleza.

Me había oído decir muchas veces que mi querido colorete de Chanel, que tengo desde hace 10 años más o menos, ya no pigmentaba. Así que ella tomó nota. Y en el paquetito había... un colorete de Sleek, en el tono "Sunrise", que me ha parecido precioso, y dos labiales de NYX, a los que le había echado el ojo cuando estuvimos en Beautik: el "Lala" y el "Medusa" (preciosos).

She'd often heard me complain of my beloved Chanel blusher poor colour payoff, since I've had that for more than 10 years now. And she took note. The package included... a Sleek blusher in the shade 'Sunrise' which is beyond gorgeous and two NYX lipsticks I liked very much when we went to Beautik. They are 'Lala' and 'Medusa' and are both super pretty.

Fuimos hace unos días a recoger mi regalo (cuando vinieron a traerlo no estábamos en casa), y hoy he hecho fotitos de todo, que ahora os enseño.

A few days ago we went out to pick out my present -we weren't at home when they first came to deliver it- and today I snapped some pics of everything, as you can see below.


De los labiales de NYX siempre se dice que son muy cremosos, pero no todos por igual.
Por mi experiencia, os puedo decir que los colores claros son más cremosos que los oscuros (al menos los que yo tengo).

About NYX round lipsticks, it's always said that they're very creamy, but not all of them in the same way. From my own experience, I can tell you that light shades are more creamy than the dark ones (at least, those that I have).

Os voy a enseñar cómo quedan. Now I'm showing you how they look.

Posible look flamenco / Flamenco make-up proposal

Si nos seguís, ya sabéis que dentro de unos días la academia donde vamos a clase de flamenco hará un pequeño festival de fin de curso. Para evitar los nervios de última hora y el consabido: '¿Y cómo me pinto? os traigo uno de los maquillajes que he estado ensayando esta semana.
Gadirroja que es un cielo me propuso adaptar varios de los looks que ella ha hecho en su blog que pegaban con el vestuario que tengo que llevar y el que véis fue el primero que hice y el que más me ha gustado.

If you've been following us for some time, you'll probably know that the place we have our flamenco dance lessons will have a small end-of-course festival. In order to avoid last-minute nerves and lack of inspiration, here's a look I tried this week.
Gadirroja kindly suggested adapting several looks she'd done for her blog that matched the dance outfit I have to wear. The one you see is the first one I did and the one I liked the most.




Es un ahumado en azul, pero suavizado con un poco de rosa cerca del lagrimal. He usado dos sombras de Essence mate que hemos comprado esta semana y que aún no os hemos enseñado. En la V externa, usé la sombra Morocco de Nyx, que aunque no es mate, no tiene mucho brillo. Al tratarse de un maquillaje para escenario, prefiero usar tonos que tengan poco o ningún brillo, ya que aunque te pongas cuatro toneladas de maquillaje los focos se lo comen todo y la purpurina se da de tortas también con las luces.
Para el delineado, le tomé prestado a mi hermana su delineador de Alverde -que no está nada mal, pero al que me ha costado un poco cogerle el truco. La textura es distinta de la del de Essence, al que estoy más acostumbrada.
Gadirroja me propuso unos labios en tonos rosas o bien más suaves o bien más atrevidos. Como ves, he optado por lo segundo, por lo que comento antes: las luces se comen el maquillaje. Es de la marca Kiotis de Stanhome y también es de mi hermana. Lo definiría como un rojo frambuesa, pero no os fiéis mucho de mis descripciones de colores. Mi madre es la artista de la familia, no yo.






It's a smokey eye using blue shades, though I toned it down with some pink near the tear duct. I used two Essence matte eyeshadows we bought this week but haven't got round to show you yet. For the outer V, I used the NYX eyeshadow in 'Morocco' -it's not matte, but not too shimmery either. Since this is a stage make-up I wanted to keep the eyes as matte as possible, because the stage lights will literally eat any makeup you've put on and glitter/shimmer is also your worst enemy.
I lined my eyes using the black gel liner from Alverde -I borrowed this from my sis. It's not bad, but it took me a while to get used to the texture (as opposed to the Essence one I've been using lately).
Gadirroja suggested going for pink lips, either a pale pink or something bolder -which is what I used, for the same reasons I explained above. It's from Kiotis by Stanhome and is also from my sister. I'd say it's a raspberry red if asked, but again, don't trust my colour descriptions too much. My mum is the artist in the family, not me.

Y esta es la falda con la que voy a bailar. Es de una compañera del año pasado y me quedaba larguíiiisima (mido 1.68, pero o esta chica era jugadora de baloncesto o la llevaba en plan 'Cachuli'). Mi madre me la ha tenido que arreglar para que no me mate con ella, pero como la tela pesa un montón se va escurriendo hacia abajo, así que la sujetaré con unos imperdibles para no tropezarme con ella y acabar cuerpo a tierra, lo cual no sería nada glamuroso, jeje.




And this is the skirt I have to dance with. It's from a girl from last year's group and was soooo long for me (I'm 5'6''/ 1.68 cm, but either this girl was a basketball player or wore it under her armpits, granpa style.) My mother had to adjust it for me, but it has so much fabric it ends up slipping through my waist, so I'll fix it with some safety pins to be extra safe. I don't want it to get in my way and end up in a rather unelegant heap on the floor - ;)

En cuanto al baile en sí, mi grupo haremos unos caracoles con abanico de Enrique Morente (el 'Cómo reluce' que no sabéis lo complicado que es seguir el compás, porque este hombre que en paz descanse no marca los acentos con la letra). Hemos estado ensayando un montón últimamente, pero aún así, puede salir o decente o "pá los leones" en palabras de mi profe: es decir, fuera de tiempo todo el rato, cada una a su aire, que alguien se olvide de algún paso y nos quedemos petrificadas -con alguna escojonándose de la risa... ha pasado. He bailado en público ya varios años, pero con mi otra profesora teníamos los bailes (el año pasado creo que bailé seis distintos) requetemachacados desde meses antes y los podíamos hacer con los ojos cerrados. En cambio, este año hemos acabado de montar la coreografía hace un mes. Por cierto, mis ex-compis actúan hoy.

As for the dance itself, my group is doing one of the styles or 'palos' called caracoles -with fan, to make it more complicated, lol- by the late Enrique Morente (to the song 'Como reluce', which is very complicated to keep track of the compás, because this man didn't stress the beat with his lyrics, as most singers do). We've been rehearsing a lot lately, but even so it can either turn out passable or a disaster 'straight for the lions', quoting my instructor (think the Roman circus). Disaster as in all of us out of time all the time, with no coordination in our movements as a group, with one of us forgetting a combination and all of us frozen on the spot while others burst into giggles -believe me, it HAS happened. I've been dancing in front of an audience for a couple of years, but with my previous instructor we had learnt the steps by heart with months in advance and could dance all our numbers (I think I had like six different ones last year) with our eyes closed. This year, we finished putting together the choreography last month. Btw, my former dancemates are performing tonight.

Si no me equivoco, de momento, con esta quinta entrega finaliza nuestra colección de productos de NYX. En esta ocasión, os enseñaremos nuestras sombras: las de marox y las mías.
Las pidió marox por Ebay, y estaba previsto que fueran una para cada una, pero por problemas en el pedido de los glosses que no llegaba pasado más de un mes, mandaron otro equivocado, con sombras en lugar de glosses. Una vez comunicado este hecho al vendedor, nos dijo que nos quedáramos con el pedido. Y poco después (si no recuerdo mal), llegó el famoso pedido que creíamos perdido en algún lugar del mundo.
Bueno, no sé si después de toda esta explicación os habréis enterado de algo. Espero que sí.

If I'm not mistaken, Part 5 is going to be the last in our NYX products series. This time, we'd like to show you our eyeshadows, both from marox and myself.
Marox ordered these on Ebay and they were only supposed to be one for each, but our order had not arrived after more than a month had elapsed, and then they sent us a wrong order, with eyeshadows instead of glosses. Once we told the seller about this fact, he told us to keep the stuff we had received. And a few days later (if I'm not mistaken), the famous order we thought was lost somewhere on the way here, finally arrived.
Well, I don't know if you will have understood all this explanation. I hope so.

Así que sin más preámbulos, voy a enseñaros las sombras en cuestión, que es el propósito de esta entrada.

So without further ado, I'm showing you the aforementioned eyeshadows, which is the purpose of this post.

Os presento a mis sombritas de NYX. La que había pedido en principio era la última, pero la verdad es que me alegro de que se equivocaran, porque las demás son preciosas.

Now meet my NYX eyeshadows. I just ordered the last one, but actually I'm glad they made a mistake, because the rest are very nice.



Y ahora, las de marox. Ella había pedido la cuarta, pero las otras también son bien bonitas.

And now, marox's ones. She ordered just the fourth one, but the others are also beautiful.



Como veis, después de todo este lío de pedido, al final tenemos 2 sombras en común. Y todas las demás, han sido muy bienvenidas. Pobrecitas, no tenían culpa de nada.

As you can see, after all this mess, we finally have 2 eyeshadows in common. And the rest of them have been very welcome. Poor them, it was not their fault.

Nuestros productos de NYX (IV) - Our NYX stuff (IV).

Antes de nada, perdonad por la tardanza. Llevo unos días sin escribir, pero entre el trabajo, los ensayos para la gala de fin de curso de flamenco y demás, pues eso: que nunca encontraba el tiempo para sentarme ante el ordenador para preparar esta entrada.

First of all, I apologize for my delay. It's been quite a long time without uploading a new post, but my job, the rehearsals for the flamenco 'end of course' show and all that stuff have kept me busy, so I never found the time to sit down in front of my PC and prepare this entry.

Marox os presentó nuestros brillos de NYX (los más pigmentados del mundo mundial), y os enseñó cómo quedaban los suyos. Así que hoy voy a hacer lo mismo con los míos.

Marox already introduced you our NYX lipglosses (the most pigmented lipglosses in the entire world), and showed how they looked on her. So I'm doing the same with mine.




Como podéis ver, el más discreto de todos es el primero, perfecto para diario.
Los otros dos, mejor para fiesta, porque son muy "potentes", pero me encantan.
Estos dos últimos se ven muy parecidos en la foto, pero la verdad es que no lo son tanto. El "Burgundy" es un color cereza, y el "Maroon" es un rojo vino oscuro (aunque en el envase se ve muy marrón).

As you can see, the first one is the most discreet, perfect for an everyday look.
The other two are better for party time, because they are very bold, but I love them.
They seem very similar in the pics, but they look different in real life. 'Burgundy' is a cherry-red colour, and 'Maroon' is the colour of dark red wine (although in the tube it seems dark brown).

Mi opinión sobre ellos no puede ser mejor: excelente pigmentación, la aplicación es muy buena y no deja sensación pegajosa en los labios, si bien con el paso de las horas, tienden a rellenarse de color los pequeños pliegues encima del labio superior. Esto pasa sobre todo con los colores oscuros. Pese a este pequeño inconveniente, repetiré seguro.

My opinion about them can't be better: excellent pigmentation, very good application, it doesn't leave a sticky feeling on the lips. But as hours go by, the small folds over the upper lip tend to be filled in with the colour of the lipgloss. This happens mainly with dark shades. Despite this little con, I'd buy them again.

Nuestros productos de NYX / Our NYX stuff (III)

Hoy le toca el turno a nuestros brillos de la marca NYX, de la gama de los Megashine (los del tubito cuadrado). Al igual que con las barras de labios, pedí 6 para probar y nos los repartimos entre mi hermana y yo.



It's time to show you our NYX lipglosses, from the Megashine line -the ones in the square tube-. As with the lipsticks, I ordered 6 of them and then my sister and I shared them.

Como podéis ver, la mayoría son tonos bastante potentes. Algunos los pedimos a propósito y con otros nos llevamos la sorpresa. Estos fueron los que me quedé yo.

As you can see, most of them are very in-your-face. Some of them we ordered on purpose whereas we got a surprise with others. These are the ones I kept.



Copper Penny: Es el más ponible de los que tengo. Es bastante pigmentado -aunque el color es clarito- y modulable. En cuanto a la duración, yo diría que es media.

Copper Penny: It's the most wearable of them all. It's quite pigmented -though it's a light shade- but buildable. Lasting time is average or slightly longer than average.



Perfect Red: El clásico rojo. Al ser modulable, podemos darle una mayor o menor intensidad. La duración de nuevo bastante buena.

Perfect Red: A classic red shade. Being buildable we can play a bit with the colour intensity we want to get. Lasting time is quite good again.



Vixen: Este tono no pensaba que iba a ser tan oscuro viendo los chuaches que circulan por Internet. Cuando nos disfracemos en Carnaval de góticas, mi hermana se pondrá su labial 'Egg Plant' y yo me pondré este brillo. Al ser modulable, si lo queremos hacer más ponible, aplicaremos una menor cantidad de producto. La duración también bastante buena, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que estos brillos no son de larga duración. A mi hermana le duran aún más de lo normal -cosa ya habitual entre nosotras.

Vixen: I didn't think this shade would turn out to be quite so dark, judging by the swatches you can find throughout the Internet. When we dress up for Carnival, we'll be Gothic girls -my sis with her round lipstick in 'Egg Plant' and me wearing this. It's just as well these are buildable, so you can tone it down by using a smaller amount of product. They stay on the lips, a plus considering these are not long-lasting lipglosses. They stay longer on my sis than on me -but that's a long-lost battle, anyway.

Supongo que mi hermana os enseñará los suyos en unos días. También nos gustaría compartir con vosotras otros productos de labios de nuestra colección, de marcas como Essence, Deliplus, Deborah, etc.

I guess my sister will be uploading hers in a few days. We'd also like to share with you other lip products in our collection from Essence, Deliplus by Mercadona, Deborah, and so on.

Estos brillos de labios son de nuestros favoritos. Están en el número 2 de nuestro ranking personal. Ya os enseñaremos el nº1 indiscutible, que además es de una marca muy poco conocida.

These lipglosses are some of our favourites. They rank no.2 in our personal list. We'll show you our HG-n.1 lipgloss some time in the future, from a brand probably unknown to most.

*Estos brillos los compramos en Ebay, al vendedor Porkdaisy con nuestro propio dinero. Fue un pedido no exento de problemas (era Navidad, más o menos), aunque la comunicación con el vendedor fue buena y quedé satisfecha.*

*We bought these lipglosses on Ebay, to the seller Porkdaisy with our own money. It was a complicated but satisfactory order -it was around Christmas time- but communication with the seller was good and I left a positive feedback*.

Nuestros productos de NYX (II) - Our NYX stuff (II)

Aquí estoy de nuevo, en esta ocasión para continuar con la entrega que empezó mi hermana sobre nuestros productos de NYX.
Ella empezó hablando de sus labiales redondos, así que hoy voy a hacer lo propio con los míos.

Here I am again, this time to continue the post my sister started about our NYX stuff. She began talking about her round lipsticks, so I'm doing the same with mine.

Fueron un regalo de marox. Hizo un pedido de 6 labiales, y luego, los repartimos como buenas hermanas. Me quedé con estos 3 que vais a ver.

They were a gift from marox. She ordered 6 lipsticks, and then, we shared them out as good sisters do. I kept the 3 ones you are about to see.






Creo que los nombres se ven bien en la foto, pero por si acaso, son: Tea Rose, B52 y Egg Plant.
Los dos primeros son más cremosos que el último, pero todos de muy buena aplicación.
Son tan cremosos que con el B52 tuve un pequeño "accidente potinguil". Cuando me hice un "chuache" en la mano para ver el color, la "bala" se rompió por la base. Desde entonces, lo saco muy poquito y lo aplico con pincel.

I think you can see the names in the picture, but if not, they are: Tea Rose, B52 and Egg Plant. The first two are more creamy than the last one, but all of them have very good application.
They are so creamy that when I made a swatch with the 'B52', I had a small 'make-up accident': the 'bullet' broke from its base. Since then, I take it out just a little bit and I apply it with a lip brush.


De estos 3 labiales, aparte del B52, alias "el accidentado", merece una mención especial el Egg Plant. Me gustan los colores "potentes", pero es que con éste nos pasamos 3 pueblos. En la foto parece más "ponible", pero es más oscuro (superoscuro). Lo utilizaré o bien con la prebase de labios, para aclarar el tono, o bien lo dejaré para disfrazarme de gótica en carnaval.

From this 3 lipsticks, apart from 'B52', aka 'the injured', Egg Plant deserves a special mention.
I like bold colours, but we really went overboard when we chose this one. It seems more wearable in the picture, but it's darker (superdark). I'll use it either with a lip base, to tone it down, or I'll just use it in carnival to dress up like a goth girl.

En la entrada de hoy, os presento algunos de los productos de la marca NYX que tenemos. Los compramos en Internet, en concreto éstos fueron al vendedor Joy's. Vinieron muy bien protegidos en plástico de burbujas y llegaron muy rápido. Pedí 6 tonos e intenté pedir un poco de todo. Mi hermana se quedó los tres restantes y supongo que pronto os los enseñará.
En España, se puede comprar en pocas tiendas físicas, principalmente Beautik.

In today's post I'd like to share with you some of the NYX stuff that we have. We got this online, from the seller Joy's on Ebay. Items came very well protected in bubble wrap and shipping was fast. I ordered 6 different colours, trying to have a little bit of everything. My sister kept the remaining 3, so I suppose she'll share hers with you soon too.
In Spain these are available in very few brick and mortar stores, Beautik mainly.

Without further ado, here are a few pics.




Los labiales redondos de Nyx son muy cremosos, si bien de los tres que tengo, los más cremosos son Fig y Thalia. El Pandora lo noto bastante más seco en comparación. No sé si el que sea más oscuro que los otros tenga algo que ver. Mi favorito es el Thalia, es un todoterreno. Si no tenéis claro qué tonos pedir, yo diría que este tono es una apuesta segura.

Nyx round lipsticks are very creamy, though of all three the most creamy are Fig and Thalia. Pandora is a lot drier in comparison, I don't know if it has anything to do with being the darkest of the three. My favourite is Thalia, it's an all-rounder. If you're at a loss about which shades to order, Thalia is a pretty safe bet imo.

Os dejo con unas fotos de cómo queda cada uno en los labios. Por cierto, que no véais qué show para hacerlas, porque mi hermana me tuvo que estar buscando 'el lado bueno' como a las famosas, ya que sino parecía que tenía los labios torcidos. Creo que a partir de ahora, los chuaches de labios será mejor que los haga ella, que tiene unos labios mucho más bonitos y fotogénicos que los míos.

By the way, the photoshoot was a bit of a pita, because my sister had be looking for my 'good side' as if I were a star or something, because my lips appeared to be twisted or something depending on the side. From now on, she'd better swatch lippies herself, especially since her lips are a lot more pretty and photogenic than mine.

Advertencia: Al ser tan blanditos es fácil que la 'bala' se pueda doblar o incluso romper. Tanto mi Thalia como uno de los de mi hermana, hay que usarlos con mucho cuidado. Mi hermana usa el suyo con pincel. Yo evitaría pedirlos en verano, porque francamente, con el calor no sería una buena idea que estuvieran de acá para allá.

Warning: Being so soft and creamy, it's easy for the 'bullet' to bend or even break. Both my Thalia and one of my sister's lippies have to be used very carefully. My sister applies hers with a lip brush. I'd avoid ordering these in the summer, because honestly, I don't think the heat would help during shipping.
