Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2021 (III)

Hola, chicas:   Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.   1 - Pasta de dientes con carbón activado (Marox): Me ha gustado lo suficiente como para comprar otra similar, también en Primaprix.   2- Champú de miel de Kallos (Marian). Deja el pelo con un olor a miel riquísimo. La verdad es que me ha gustado mucho. Había probado otro de la marca, así que jugaba sobre seguro.   3- Gel de ducha "Clean A Colada" de Soap&Glory (Marian). Fue un regalo de Marox, como sabréis, y la verdad es que me ha dado mucha pena que se me haya terminado. Huele más a piña que a coco, y deja la piel suave y fresquita. Repetiría con él, pero reconozco que para usarlo diariamente, saldría caro. Lo he estado usando un par de veces por semana, para mimarme un poco.     4- Desodorante en barra Lactovit 0% (Marian). Si no recuerdo mal, no os lo enseñé cuando lo compré, pero me ha gustado bastante, así que me pareció bien hacer una reseña al terminarlo. Ahora estoy usando otro de otra marca, porque me gusta cambiar, pero no descarto repetir con éste en el futuro.   5- Exfoliante facial de Martiderm (Marian). Ya lo había probado antes, así que también jugaba sobre seguro con él. Exfolia bien la piel, pero sin irritarla.     6- Mascarilla facial de arcilla verde de Apivita (Marian). Fue otro regalo de Marox, que compró en una farmacia cerca de mi casa que vende productos de la marca.  Es en formato sobre, como veis, pero da para varios usos. Al aplicarla, se seca enseguida. Sólo hay que retirarla con agua y listo. Deja la piel con sensación fresca y sin impurezas.   Bien, éstos han sido nuestros terminados hasta el momento.  ¿Habéis probado alguno? Hi girls,  Here we are again to show you our latest empties. 1- Activated charcoal toothpaste (Marox). I like it so much that I've purchased a similar one, also at Primaprix. 2- Honey shampoo from Kallos (Marian). It leaves your hair with a soft honey scent that I love. I like it very much. I already had tried another one from the same brand, so I was playing safe.   3- 'Clean A Colada' shower gel, from Soap&Glory (Marian). It was a gift from Marox, as you know. I like it so much that I didn't want to use it up. It's coconut and pineapple scented (more pineapple than coconut), and it leaves your skin soft and fresh. I would be repeating with it, but it would be very expensive if I used it on my daily routine. I just used it twice a week, to pamper myself a bit.   4- 'Lactovit 0%' stick deodorant (Marian). If I'm right, I didn't show you this one when I bought it, but I like it much. So I thought reviewing it could be a good idea. Now I'm using one from another brand, but I'll probably repeat with this one in the future.    5- Facial scrub from Martiderm (Marian). I already tried it, so I was playing safe with this one as well. It exfoliates your skin without irritating it. 6- Green clay mask from Apivita (Marian). It was another gift from Marox, that bought at a Chemist's near my place. Though it comes in a sachet, it contains amount enough for several uses. It gets dry quite fast after applying it. So you have to rinse it with water, and ready to go. It leaves your skin with a fresh and clean feeling.   Well, these are our empties so far. Have you tried any? Tell us on the comments below. Productos terminados / 'Finito' products 2021 (II).

Hola, chicas: Aquí venimos a enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente. 1- Exfoliante microdermabrasión Martiderm (Marian).     Me lo regaló marox, y la verdad es que fue todo un acierto. Tanto es así, que cuando se acabó, ya tenía encargado otro nuevo, que es el que estoy usando ahora. 2- Perfume 'Eternity Moment' de Calvin Klein. Otro acierto de marox. En general, me suelen gustar todos los perfumes de Calvin Klein. Al menos, los que he probado hasta ahora. Creo que la compró en PerfumesClub. 3- Gel hidratante energizante de Origins (minitalla).   Este gel vino en un cracker de Sephora, con otros productos de la marca.  Me ha gustado mucho, por lo que no descartaría repetir con el tamaño normal. 4- Exfoliante corporal 'Hot Chocolate' de Giovanni. Este también me lo regaló marox hace tiempo, y lo tenía un poco abandonado. No porque no me gustara, sino por pereza. Pero con la que está cayendo últimamente, he decidido mimarme un poco. Me gusta mucho el tamaño del gránulo, exfolia sin irritar la piel, y además huele fenomenal. 5- Manteca corporal de granada ecológica y bayas de Goji, de Cien (Marian). Me gustan mucho este tipo de mantecas, y de vez en cuando pico con una.  Tienen muy buen precio y me gusta cómo me hidratan la piel. Bien, éstos han sido nuestros terminados hasta ahora. Hi girls,   Here we are again ready to show you what we've used up recently. 1- Microdermabrasion scrub from Martiderm (Marian). Marox gave it to me, and it's been a real hit. To the point that when I eventually used it up, I'd already ordered a new one, which is the one I'm using now. 2- 'Eternity Moment' perfume from Calvin Klein.     Another hit from marox. I like all the fragrances from Calvin Klein I've tried so far. She ordered this online from PerfumesClub.   3- Energy Boosting Moisturizing gel, from Origins (mini size). This one was included in a Christmas cracker from Sephora, together with other stuff from the brand. I like it very much, so I wouldn't mind repurchasing, only in the regular size. 4- 'Hot Chocolate' sugar body scrub from Giovanni.   Marox gave it to me quite a long time ago, and I abandoned it. But I like it very much, I didn't use it because I'm lazy, that's it. But given the current situation, I decided to pamper myself a bit. I like the size of the exfoliating particles, it scrubs  your skin without irritating it, and it smells great. 5- Organic pomegranate and Goji berries body butter, from Cien (Marian). I like this kind of body butters, so I use to buy one of these from time to time. These from Lidl are very cheap and I like the way they moisturize my skin. Well, these have been our 'empties' so far. Tell us if you've tried any. See you.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts and gifts-to-self.

Un año más, aquí vengo a enseñaros mis regalos y autorregalos de cumpleaños (que fue hace un par de semanas).

Another year, here I am ready to share with you my birthday (about two weeks ago) gifts and gifts to self.
Let me start with the presents I got from marox.

1- Perfume "Fantasy" de Britney Spears.

No sé cómo se las apaña mi hermana para acertar siempre con los perfumes, teniendo en cuenta que los compra a partir de las reseñas que ve en Internet, en la página de Fragantica. Lo compró en *PerfumesClub*, que ofrece buenos precios y además devuelve más dinero con las compras que *Notino*.

I don't know how my sister does it to always nail the fragrances she gets me, considering she buys them online based on reviews from Fragantica. She got this from PerfumesClub *UK / US*, which offers great deals and more cashback than Notino *UK*.

Sabe que los que me gustan son los florales/frutales, y busca a partir de ahí. Lo he probado y me ha gustado mucho. Es un poco dulzón, pero sin empalagar.

She knows the ones I like the most are floral / fruity scents and bases her search on that. I've briefly tested it and I really like it. It's on the gourmand side, but without being cloying.

2- Manteca de Soap&Glory, "A cream come true" Body Butter.

Con este regalo jugaba sobre seguro, porque sabe que me encanta el olor a coco, y que las mantecas de Soap&Glory me encantan. Será mi próxima manteca cuando acabe la que estoy usando.

She was playing it safe with the next item, because she knows how much I love coconut-scented stuff and that I loved Soap&Glory body butters. It will be next on my vanity once I've used up my current one.


3- Gel de ducha de Soap&Glory "Clean A Colada" Shower Gel.

 

Estos de Soap&Glory se lo curran un montón a la hora de elegir nombres para sus productos. Este gel tiene olor a coco también, como la manteca. Ya lo he probado y hace una espuma muy cremosa.

The folks at Soap & Glory really go the extra mile when it comes to picking names for their products. This shower gel is coconut-scented, just like the body butter. I've tried it and I can tell you it does give you a very creamy lather.

Ahora vienen dos regalos no cosméticos.
And here come two non-beauty gifts.

4- DVD de The Corrs, Amsterdam 2001.

 

5- DVD de The Corrs, Baden Baden y Commonwealth Games.

 

Obviamente, no son DVDs oficiales. Pero siempre hay por Internet alguna grabación de algún concierto, así que preparó estos DVDs para mí.
Luego buscó imágenes para las carátulas, para presentarlo lo más bonito posible. Todavía no los he visto, pero me ha hecho mucha ilusión.

These are obviously non-official DVDs. But there's always some recording online of some show, so she made those DVDs for me.
She then searched for some pictures for the covers, so she could present those as nice as possible. I haven't watched them yet, but I was really excited to get them.

Ahora vamos con los autorregalos. And now onto the gifts to self.

6- Aceite de coco, de Sephora / Coconut oil from Sephora:

 

Lo compré en nuestra última visita a Sephora. Me encanta el formato en el que viene, muy práctico, y en que se aprovecha muy bien hasta la última gota de producto (o casi). Todavía no lo he usado.

I bought this on our latest visit to Sephora. I love the packaging it comes from, how convenient it is and how well you can really make the most of it and use it up to the very end (or almost). I haven't tried it yet.

7- Luz de emergencia "Help Flash" / 'Help Flash' emergency light.

Le regalamos hace tiempo una a mi padre, y me quedé con las ganas de comprarme una para mí. Así que decidí que mi cumpleaños sería un buen momento para regalármela.

 We gave one of these to my father some time ago, and I wanted to buy another one for me, so I decided my birthday would be a good time for a gift-to-self.

La compré por eBay. Me costó unos 28€ aproximadamente, incluyendo el envío. Para que me saliera un poquito más barata, aproveché uno de los cupones que eBay me hace llegar por mis ventas.

 I bought it on eBay. I paid about €28, shipping included. In order to pay a little bit less for it, I used one of those coupons eBay gives me for my sales.

Espero no tener que utilizarla nunca, pero es una de esas cosas que siempre viene bien tener en el coche.

I hope I never have to use it, but it's a good idea to have one of these in your car.

Compras varias 2020 / Sundry Haul 2020 (III)

Hola, chicas.

Aquí venimos a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente, aunque ya aviso que tengo otro post de compras en el horno que estoy deseando compartir con vosotros.

1 - Manteca corporal de granada y bayas de goji de Lidl: Lidl es uno de los supermercados que más cerca nos queda para hacer la compra. Me sorprendió verlas, ya que no las trajeron en su día. Había otras novedades que parecían interesantes (gama Skin Foodies) -un par de cremas faciales y de manos bastante decentes-, pero compré un par de estas mantecas: una para mí y otra para Marian. Yo tardaré bastante en probarla, porque tengo unas cuantas compradas antes e intento irlas gastando por orden de antigüedad. Marian creo que acaba de estrenar la suya.
El precio fue de 2,49€ cada una.
Son veganas, contienen varios aceites y ácido hialurónico.

2 - Desodorante Dove 0% (marox): Lo compré en... Primaprix. Precio: 1.50€
No lo he estrenado aún, pero como allí los tienen muy bien de precio y los que hemos probado hasta ahora nos han gustado, pues siempre viene bien tener repuesto.

3 - Mascarilla facial Pure & Care (marox): De Primaprix también, al módico precio de 0,95€. Tengo otra sin estrenar.

4 - Sérum Pure & Care de ácido hialurónico: Es de la marca que fabrica para Primaprix. Me sorprendió que sólo tuvieran este formato mini de 5 ml, cuando siempre han tenido de 30ml. No es mala idea para probar el producto y saber si nos convence o no, o para llevar de viaje. Trae cuentagotas, como suele ser habitual en este tipo de producto.
Precio: 1,95€
Lo he probado y aunque no está mal, me sigue gustando más el de Scinic.

5 - Mascarillas reutilizables con filtro de *Aliexpress*: Compré una para cada uno de la familia y un par de paquetes de filtros. La de mi padre, en gris más discretas y las nuestras en distintos tonos, todos muy 'de sirena'. Me temo que las mascarillas van a formar parte de nuestras vidas a partir de ahora y ya de tener que llevarlas, pues al menos 'con glamour' y de paso, generamos menos residuos.
Al tener válvula, en ciertos sitios como hospitales es mejor NO usarlas, pero para ir por la calle están bien.
Las alternamos con alguna de las muchas que ha cosido Marian.

6- Desodorante Cien (Lidl) sin sales de aluminio.
Fue un encargo de Marian, que se había quedado sin desodorante.
Le está gustando mucho.
Como veis en la foto, es en formato roll-on.

Here we are to show you our latest purchases. Mind you that I have another Haul post that is in the works that I can't wait to share with you.

1 - Pomegranate and goji berries Body Butter from Lidl: Lidl is one of the supermarkets that are closer to my parents' home here and where we do most of our shopping. I was surprised to see these since our store didn't have them when they first came out. There were a few more releases from a new line called Skin Foodies - a couple of face creams and hand creams that looked decent enough -, but I got two of these butters, one for myself and another one for Marian. It will take me a longer time to use mine since I have others that were bought earlier and I like to use them in order of purchase. I believe Marian will soon open hers.
Price: €2.49 each.
They're vegan and contain several oils as well as hyaluronic acid.

2 - Dove 0% deodorant (marox): I got it at... my nearest Primaprix outlet supermarket. Price: €1.50
I haven't tried it yet. I like to get them there since they're much more affordable than elsewhere. The ones we've tried so far were quite good and it's nice to have a small stockpile. 

3 - Pure & Care Sheet Mask (marox):
Also from Primaprix, at €0.95. I already had one of these, but I haven't tried them yet.

4- Pure&Care hyaluronic acid serum:
It's from their house brand. I was surprised to only find these 5ml mini sizes when they normally have 30ml bottles. However, it's not a bad idea to test them and see if you like them enough or to use them for travelling. It does come with a dropper, like most serums.
Price: €1.95
I've tried it a few times. It's not a bad product, but I prefer the Scinic one I normally use.

5 - Reusable face masks with filter from *Aliexpress*: I bought one for each of us and 2 sets of filters. My dad's rather modest but ours in different 'mermaid' shades. I'm afraid that face masks are here to stay and will be a part of our lives from now on. And if we have to wear one, we'd better do it in style and minimize waste at the same time. 

Since they have a valve, it's better NOT to use them inside a hospital, for instance, but to wear outside they're absolutely fine.
We're using these in conjunction with the ones Marian made.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (VI)

¡Hola chicas!

Ya pasó la nochebuena, ya estamos comiendo turrón y en nada estaremos tomando las uvas y brindando por el nuevo año.
Pero mientras tanto, hoy nos gustaría enseñarnos lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

1 - Revista Glamour, noviembre 2019 (marox): Como no, he vuelto a picar con las cositas de The Body Shop.
El tamaño grande, por 3,50€ trae tres geles de baño en formato de 250ml, que en tienda cuestan 7€. En mi ciudad, la revista pequeña trae cremas de manos en formato grande (me están tentando).
Como véis, de momento he cogido el gel de argán, gama que nunca había probado ya que nunca está rebajada.
Un par de días después cogí el tamaño pequeño, con las cremas. Ahora sí que tengo crema de manos para mí y para toda la familia para una buena temporada: ya tengo todas las que han salido en distintos números de la revista. En tienda cuestan 12€.
Aquí no llegó el pack de la Hola con las cosas de Rituals ni la minitalla del aceite de Nuxe con la Elle Pocket. La máscara de Benefit con la Woman sí, pero no me llamaba mucho la atención por casi 5 euros.



2 -  Mascarillas 'Baby Pet Magic Sheet Mask' de Holika Holika (marox): Las compré, como no, en *Primaprix*. Las tenían junto a la caja, con una promoción de 2x1, puesto que caducaban en noviembre. Por ese motivo, me he llevado las dos por 1,50€.
En breve, las veréis en un post de terminados.



3 - Perfilador automático de Essence de larga duración, '01 - Black Fever' (marox): Hace poco se me terminó el que tenía de P2, así que como no tengo acceso a la marca, lo he sustituido por éste de Essence, que suelen dar buen resultado. No me gustan los lapiceros tradicionales y siempre busco que sean automáticos. No llegan a 2€, así que por ese precio no se les puede pedir más.

4 - Bálsamo limpiador en textura sorbete de naranja de Aromatica (marox): Me va quedando poco del de ENature y me he decantado por éste, que trae bastante más cantidad, tiene una buena composición y está muy bien de precio. Lo compré, como siempre, por Ebay, en concreto al vendedor *iamloveshop*.



5 - Mascarilla Hair Food Papaya de Garnier: (marox) 5,49€ en supermercados Lupa, aunque quizá la podáis encontrar más barata, pues la venden en muchos sitios.
Se puede utilizar como mascarilla prelavado y sin aclarado. La llevo usando unas cuantas veces y de momento me está gustando.


6 - Revista Glamour grande, diciembre 2019 (marox): Me cogí este tono, que era más ponible que el otro que había llegado al kiosko, un azul muy extraño. El tono es el 'Good Vibes Only' de la colección Neons.
 Lo veréis en una próxima manicura.
La revista tiene un precio de 3,50€ y esta marca aquí en España es bastante cara, así que no está mal. Intenté pillar algún otro tono, pero no vi ninguno que mereciera la  pena.
El tamaño pequeño aquí venía con un *spray de keratina* de laboratorios Valquer, pero contiene alcohol entre los primeros ingredientes, así que lo dejé pasar.

Christmas Eve has gone by and in no time we Spaniards will be having the lucky grapes and toasting for the new year. 
But in the meantime, we'd like to show you what we've bought lately.

1 - Glamour magazine, November 2019 issue (marox): Yes, of course I gave in and got my greedy hands on those The Body Shop freebies.
The larger magazine comes with three different 250ml shower gels for just €3.50, which retail at €7.
The smaller issue, at least here, came with the large hand creams (so tempting...)
As you see, so far I got the Argan one, making it the first time I get to use anything from said line, as it never has a discount.
A couple of days later I grabbed the pocket edition that in my area included a hand cream. I can now safely say that I got enough of those for a good while, not only for myself, but for the whole family. I have all the creams that were available as different freebies. The creams retail at €12.
As for other magazines, the Spanish issue of Hello magazine with the Rituals goodies didn't make it here, nor did Elle Pocket with the mini Nuxe oil.  Woman magazine had a Benefit mascara that did make it here, but at €5 it didn't seem such a bargain.

2 -  Holika Holika 'Baby Pet Magic Sheet Mask' (marox): You guessed it, I got them from... *Primaprix*. They were very sneakily placed beside the checkout and were part of a BOGO deal, since the expiration date was November. That's why I scored this 2 for 1 deal at only €1.50.
Expect to see these again soon in an Empties blogpost.

3 - Essence longlasting automatic Eye Pencil '01 - Black Fever' (marox): I recently used up the P2 one I'd been using and since I cannot repurchase that I got this from Essence. This line works really well and just shy of €2, it is great value for money. I can't stand traditional eye pencils and always go for twist-up ones like these.



4 - Aromatica Orange Cleansing Sherbet (marox): I'm running out of the ENature one I'm currently using and chose this to replace it. It is much bigger than the other, has a good ingredient list and has great bang for your buck. As always, I got it off Ebay, from seller *iamloveshop*.

5 - Hair Food Papaya Garnier Hair Mask (marox): I got this from a local supermarket, Lupa, for €5.49, and you can probably get it for less, as these are widely available.
It can be used as a pre-wash treatment and a leave-in. I've used this a couple of times and so far, so good.



6 - Glamour Spain, December 2019 issue, large (marox):  I picked this shade, as it was more wearable than the other one my newsagent's got, an odd blue shade. It's shade 'Good Vibes Only' from the Neons Collection.
You will soon see it featured in a recent mani.
This month's issue retails at €3.50 and OPI is a high-end brand at a high-end price here in Spain, so it wasn't so bad. I tried to get  another shade, but there was none I liked.
The pocket-sized edition's freebie was *this* keratin spray from Valquer, which contains alcohol quite high on the Inci list, so I let it go.

Compras en Druni - Druni Haul.

Hace unos días tuvimos que ir al centro a hacer unos recados, y resulta que estaba cerrado el sitio al que íbamos.
Para aprovechar la tarde, y como había un *Druni* cerca, entramos a ver qué tenían y salimos bien cargaditas.
Esto fue lo que compramos.

1- Esmalte de uñas *Lady Lya Bionature* (Marox).
El tono es el #949, un verde bosque metalizado muy bonito.
El 85% de los ingredientes es de origen natural. No contiene formaldehído, alcanfor, tolueno ni DBP.
Me costó 1€.



2- Mascarilla facial de tisú de granada, de Baviphat (Marox).
Con efecto tensor e iluminador.
Me costó 1,50€.

3- Cepillo de cejas+peine de pestañas, de Beter (Marox).
Marian tiene uno parecido que le resulta muy útil cuando le da forma a las cejas, y yo no tenía ninguno, así que aproveché para hacerme con uno.
Me costó 2,95€.



4- Mascarilla facial de tisú de açai, de Holika Holika (Marox).
Con propiedades nutritivas y revitalizantes.
Su precio es de 1,50€, aunque por una promoción que tenían en la tienda, me salió gratis.

5- Gel de aloe y própolis de Benton (Marox).
Con efecto ultra hidratante y calmante, es válido para todos los tipos de piel.
Tiene una composición excelente, ya que sus primeros ingredientes son precisamente el gel de aloe vera y extracto de própolis.
Me costó 6,95€, pero su precio anterior era de 12,95€. Como para dejarlo ahí.



6- Mousse corporal de ylang-ylang orgánico y neroli, de *Organic Shop* (Marox).
El 99% de sus ingredientes es de origen natural, y no contiene parabenos ni siliconas.
La pega es que los envases no venían precintados, y tanto la tapa como el propio envase son un poco endebles.
Me costó 1,95€.

7- Esencia de savia de abedul, de *E Nature* (Marian).
En las rutinas faciales de cosmética coreana, están muy de moda las esencias, con un montón de ingredientes activos.
Me costó 6,95€, pero su precio anterior era de 29,95€. Como para dejarla ahí.



8- Mousse corporal de vainilla orgánica y orquídea, de *Organic Shop* (Marian).
Su precio es de 1,95€, pero por una promoción que tenían, me salió gratis.

9- Mascarilla capilar "brillo radiante", de *Natura Estonica Bio* (Marian).
Contiene extracto de milenrama, arándanos y aceite de jazmín, para dar brillo a los cabellos opacos y sin vida.
El 95,3% de sus ingredientes son de origen natural.
Me costó 2,95€.

Esto ha sido todo. ¿Qué os parece?
Hemos dejado la tienda temblando, jeje.

Nos ha gustado mucho que tengan marcas de cosmética bio a precios razonables, una pequeña selección de marcas de cosmética coreana y otras que no suelen tener en otras perfumerías como Teeez, Gosh, Ardell Beauty, MissCop, Collistar y una muy baratita llamada Bronx Colors, además de productos capilares de Ogx.
La tienda que visitamos no es demasiado grande, pero seguro que en locales más grandes, al igual que en su web, encontraréis aún más.
En la variedad está el gusto.

A few days ago we had to go downtown for some errands, but unfortunately the place we wanted to go to was closed that day.

To make the most of the evening and the fact that there was a *Druni* drugstore in the area, we decided to check that out and needless to say we didn't leave the store empty-handed.

This is what we bought.

1 - *Lady Lya Bionature* Nail Polish (Marox):
Shade #949 is a pretty metallic forest green.
85% of the ingredients are bio-sourced and it does not contain formaldehyde, camphor, toluene or DBP.
It only cost €1.

2 - Pomegranate Baviphat sheet mask (Marox): It is lifting and brightening. It was €1.50.



3 - Eyebrow Brush + Eyelash Comb, from Beter (Marox):
Marian has a similar one that comes in handy when she's doing her brows and I didn't have one here, so I got this that wasn't too expensive.
This retailed at €2.95.

4 - Holika Holika Açai sheet mask (Marox):
It is nourishing and revitalizing. It cost €1.50, but they had some sort of deal at the store and it was free.



5 - Benton Aloe and Propolis Soothing Gel (Marox): This ultra moisturising and calming gel is suitable for all skin types.
The ingredient list is outstanding, with aloe and propolis extract as the first ingredients.
This was marked down to €6.95, but was previously €12.95. I just couldn't leave it there.

6 - Organic ylang-ylang and neroli Body Mousse, from *Organic Shop* (Marox):
99% of its ingredients are from natural origin and does not contain parabens or silicones.
Our only criticism would be the fact that these are not sealed and both the lid and the tub seem a bit flimsy.
This cost €1.95.



7 - *E Nature* Birch juice Essence (Marian): Essences are an essential part of the Korean skincare regimen, with plenty of active ingredients.
I paid €6,95 for this, having been marked down from €29.95. Again, I didn't have the heart to leave it there.



8 - Organic Vanilla and Orchid Body Mousse, from *Organic Shop* (Marian):
This cost €1.95, but again, some deal came through and it was free.



9 - Power Shine Hair Mask, *Natura Estonica Bio* (Marian):
It contains yarrow and cranberry extracts, as well as jasmine oil, to add shine to dull and lifeless hair.
95.3% of its ingredients are of natural origin.
This was €2.95.

Well, that was all. So, what do you think? We did some damage, didn't we?

We really liked the fact that this drugstore chain has a nice selection of organic brands at affordable prices, a small selection of K-Beauty products, as well as brands that you can't find at other shops, such as Teeez, Gosh, Ardell Beauty, MissCop, Collistar and a very cheap one called Bronx Colors. They also had Ogx hair products.
Variety is the spice of life, isn't it?.

Aquí estoy de nuevo para enseñaros mis últimas compras.

1 - Espuma de ducha 'Asian Spirit' con flor de cerezo y aceite de almendras, Cien: Lidl está que lo peta últimamente, sacando copias de productos de éxito (Thermomix, planchas y cepillos alisadores, etc). El último golpe de efecto ha sido sacar dos líneas de productos que recuerdan mucho a los de Rituals. Piqué con esta espuma, que era el producto que me causaba más curiosidad. Tardaré aún en usarla, ya que procuro irlas gastando en orden de compra. 3,99€

2 - Toallitas desmaquillantes para piel sensible, Cien: Aunque hace tiempo que no me desmaquillo exclusivamente con toallitas, me gusta tener un paquete para esos días (o noches) en las que una llega agotada o muy tarde, con pocas ganas de dobles limpiezas. De momento las he usado sólo una vez y me han gustado. Había otro pack que traía 5 toallitas más, pero que no tenía el cierre de plástico duro de éstas. Me costaron 0,99€

3 - Esmalte gel tono 'Nude' de Primaprix: Contiene 5ml, es necesario usar lámpara para que sequen. Son libres de crueldad animal, fabricados en China para las *tiendas* Primaprix bajo la marca Max & More.
Lo he estrenado ya en una manicura.
Tengo también la base de esta marca (que en la tienda de Zamora era el único producto que tenían). Si tenéis suerte, podéis encontrar unos 5 ó 6 tonos, todos al módico precio de 0,95€.
Os recomiendo que si véis alguno que os guste, os lo llevéis. He vuelto otra vez a la tienda y esa ocasión sólo tenían las bases y el color rojo.

4 -  Starting treatment Essence de Secret Key, edición con rosas: Una ya va teniendo una edad, y afortunadamente, ahora cuidar nuestra piel ya no sale tan caro como hace años, en los que apenas había unas pocas marcas medianamente asequibles.
Este producto lo utilizo a modo de tónico, después de desmaquillarme o lavarme la cara. Proporciona una hidratación ligera, que luego complementaremos con otros productos.
Es una recomendación de una de mis youtubers favoritas.
Por cierto, ¿os apetece un video al respecto, con recomendaciones de canales en Youtube?
Lo compré por Ebay, a la *tienda oficial* de la marca, por 21,90 dólares.
Os recuerdo que podéis obtener dinero por vuestras compras en Ebay de los principales proveedores de cashback. Mi favorita es *topcashback*.
El vendedor me mandó un par de muestras del mismo producto, un peeling enzimático de limón.

5 - Mascarilla de arcilla violeta de *Sephora*: Cuesta 4,75€, contiene 35ml y en teoría da para 4 usos -yo le calculo unos cuantos más-. La hemos usado una vez y es muy agradable, ya que al no secar del todo, no se queda tirante como otras.
Lo cierto es que quería la de arcilla rosa, pero no les quedaba, así que éste fue el premio de consolación.
Aprovechamos que Marian tenía que canjear la tarjeta de su cumpleaños para picar con algunas cosillas.

I'm back here to show you my latest purchases.

1 - Cien 'Asian Spirit' Foam Wash, with Japanese Cherry Blossom and Almond oil: Lidl is really taking the beauty and household world by storm with its latest knock-offs (their Thermomix-inspired food processors, several hair straighteners and combs, and so on). Their latest hit was releasing two different ranges that are very reminiscient of Rituals. I caved in and got the item that got my eye the most. It will be a while until I actually use this foam wash, as I like to use earlier purchases before newer ones. This was €3.99.

2 - Cien Makeup Remover Wipes for Sensitive skin: Although it's been a while since wipes were my sole remover, I like to keep some for those days when you get home knackered (or late nights) and are just not in the mood for double cleansing rituals. So far I've only used them once and they worked nicely. They had another pack with a 30-count (5 more than this) that unfortunately lacked the hard plastic lid these have. I paid €0.99 for these wipes.

 

3 -  'Nude' gel polish from Primaprix: Contains 5ml and must be used with an LED lamp for it to cure. These are cruelty free and made in China for *Primaprix* discount supermarkets under their Max & More brand.
I already used it for a mani. I also have their base coat that I got in my hometown (it was the only gel product they had). If you're lucky, you'll find a small selection of about 5 or 6 colours for only €0.95 each.
My advice is to grab any shade you like when you first see them. Here's the thing, I returned to the store a few weeks later and they only had basecoats and red gels.

4 -  Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence, Rose Edition: I'll be reaching a certain age soon, but thankfully skincare is more affordable than before, when there were only a handful of budget brands available.
I've been using this product as a toner, right after taking off my makeup or washing my face to restore hydration. It provides light hydration to the skin, to be later aided by other products.
It was a recommendation from one of my favourite youtubers.
Now that I'm on this subject, would you like a post with some recommendations for Youtube channels to follow?
I got this on Ebay, from the brand's *official store* there.  I paid $21.90 for it.
Remember that you can get cashback from most cashback sites. My favourite's *topcashback*.
Seller sent me two samples of the same product, their enzyme lemon peeling gel.

 5 - Sephora Purple Clay Mask: This was €4.75 and contains 35 ml and according to the brand is enough for 4 uses -I can stretch that easily -. We've used this once and it is very pleasant to use. Since this doesn't dry completely, your skin doesn't feel uncomfortably tight.
The truth is I wanted to try the pink one but they'd run out, so I settled for this one instead.
We went to Sephora so that Marian could collect her birthday freebies, but also got a couple things while we were at it.

Productos terminados / 'Finito' products #67.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros "terminados" hasta el momento.

1 - Mascarillas Naturaleza y Vida:  Como véis, se trata de dos variedades diferentes.
Las teníamos en nuestra segunda residencia y quedaba ya muy poca cantidad. De momento, no repetiremos, ya que la verde, de la que tenemos otro bote que también está en las últimas, se nos queda corta.





2 -Manteca corporal Alba Botanica: Compré esta manteca hace ya un tiempo en Vitacost. Tenía un precio moderado. Como es habitual en esta tienda, los productos tienen una composición bastante más natural de lo que se suele encontrar en España.
Tiene un olor a frutos secos y como a caramelo muy agradable y que perdura en la piel. Me gusta aplicar siempre las mantecas sobre la piel mojada, así gasto menos cantidad y se extienden mejor.

3 - Gelatina para rizos 'Curling Custard' de Kinky Curly: Compré este producto hace ya bastante en Vitacost. Lo cierto es que no era nada barato, pero me apetecía probar un producto natural con buenas opiniones y este fue el escogido. Aunque deja el pelo bien, tampoco me ha parecido como para repetir, teniendo en cuenta que hay que pedirlo fuera.  Lo he usado a temporadas y lo que queda de producto se ha quedado reseco.

4 - Sombra en crema Metal Glam de Essence: La verdad es que de todas las sombras metal glam de tubo, ésta era la mejor con diferencia. Como véis ya está el tubo muy gastadito y ya cuesta que salga producto.

Es una pena que apenas se encuentren sombras con este formato. 

5 - Espuma baño Rituals, de la gama Ritual of Light: Como sabéis, suelo aprovechar las promociones de las revistas para hacerme con los productos de Rituals, y éste fue el caso en esta ocasión. Esta espuma tenía un olor a canela muy agradable, que perduraba algo en la piel.

6 - Crema corporal Rituals, Ritual of Ayurveda: Esta crema corporal, de la línea con rosa de la India y miel vino también de regalo con alguna revista. El olor no era nada empalagoso y también perdura algo en la piel.

7 - Mascarilla tissú con colágeno de Malie: Me vino con algún pedido de cosmética coreana hace ya una eternidad. Confesión: suelo "coleccionar" las muestras que vienen en los pedidos, es decir, que rara vez las uso y es algo que me he propuesto remediar.

8 - Manteca corporal de haba tonka y karité de Cien Nature:  Fue parte de una edición limitada. Curiosamente, varios de los productos han pasado luego al surtido permanente, pero no es el caso de este producto. Es un poco más pastosa que otras mantecas (TBS ó Deliplus, por ejemplo), pero no es una sensación desagradable. Simplemente, hay que masajearla un poco más para que penetre. Creo que costó unos 2€, así que no se le puede pedir la perfección, creo yo. El olor es como a frutos secos, suave.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties' so far.

1- Naturaleza y Vida Hair Masks: As you see, they are from two different ranges, the hair loss and Organic ones. We had these tubs in our second home and there was very little left of both. We won't repurchase for now, as we've noticed the green one was not as good to our hair as it used to be. Yes, we have another tub of this that is on its last legs too.

2 - Alba Botanica Body Butter: I bought this a while back off Vitacost. It was reasonably priced and as with pretty much anything you can get on this store, the ingredients are far better than the brands sold locally, at least in Spain.
It has a nutty, caramel scent to it that lingers on the skin. I like to apply all body butters on wet skin, as I use a smaller amount and they spread a lot easier.

 

3 - Kinky Curly's Curling Custard: I bought this long ago on Vitacost. I felt like splurging on a natural styling product that had good reviews to see what that was like and this is the one I went for. I leaves my hair looking good, but not to the point that would make me repurchase, considering you have to get this from abroad.  I've been using this on and off and the remaining product has now dried out.



4 - Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow: The truth is that from all the tube eyeshadows on this now discontinued range (or format) this one was by far the best. As you see, there was very little product left and you could barely get anything out.
It's a pity it's so damn hard to find eyeshadows in a tube.




5 - Rituals Foam Wash (black and gold bottle): As you know, I get all my Rituals products as magazine freebies and that was the case this time as well. This foam had a very captivating cinnamon scent that lingered on the skin a bit.

6 - Ritual of Ayurveda Body Cream: From their Indian Rose and Honey line, it was another magazine freebie. The scent was really nice and unobtrusive that lingers on the skin for a bit.

7 - Malie Collagen Sheet Mask: This came with some K-Beauty order a lifetime ago. Confession time: I 'collect' samples, meaning, I rarely use them and that's something I've vowed to change.

8 - Cien Nature Tonka bean and Shea body butter: It was part of a LE organic line. Strangely enough, other items in that limited edition are now permanently in stock, but that's not the case with this body butter. It is much thicker than others like TBS or the Spanish Deliplus, but it's not a deal breaker. All you have to do is massage it more into the skin until it soaks in. This was about €2, so I guess perfection in this price point would be too much to ask.
It has a pleasant, nutty scent.
