Compras Varias / Sundry Haul 2019 (III)

Hola, chicas:
Aquí venimos a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

1 - Agua Micelar Kueshi: Me queda muy poco del agua micelar de Lidl, que tiene un envase muy práctico. Había pensado probar la de Evoluderm de pieles reactivas, que tiene buenas opiniones, pero encontré ésta también y me gustó más. La compré en ese lugar de perdición llamado *Primaprix* por sólo 4,95€. 

2 - Desodorante Dove sin aluminio de pomelo y hierbalimón (marox): Y también de Primaprix, por 1,45€ me traje este desodorante sin aluminio. Marian está muy contenta con el suyo y lo cierto es que funciona bastante bien. Se queda corto en los días de mucho calor o trajín, pero no irrita la piel en absoluto y se puede encontrar en varias perfumerías y supermercados.

3 - Mascarilla Tissú Ginseng (marox): Primaprix, 1.50€ Ya la he usado y me gustó.

4 - Reproductor vintage de vinilos y cds, marca Muse, de *Amazon* (marox): Hemos estado de reformas en casa y aprovechando que compramos una estantería más grande para mi habitación, compré este reproductor para poder escuchar música en casa. Tiene un diseño muy bonito, con una excelente relación calidad-precio. El altavoz no es demasiado potente si queréis que la música se oiga en otras estancias cercanas. Para ese caso, le conecto con cable el altavoz Bluetooth *Aukey* que compré también en Amazon hace un par de años y mejora bastante.


5 - Pinza mini Tweezerman, en Sephora: Tanto Marian como yo nos hicimos con una, ya que estaba genial de precio, 7€, cuando lo normal es que cueste casi 15.

Here we are to show you what we've purchased lately.

1 - Kueshi Micellar Water: I'm running out of the Lidl cleansing water that comes with a very convenient pump bottle. I had originally thought about getting the Evoluderm one from their sensitive skin range, but liked this better. I got it from that evil outlet supermarket called *Primaprix*, for only €4.95

2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant, Grapefruit and Lemongrass (marox): And another Primaprix purchase, retailing at €1.45 was this aluminium-free deodorant. Marian kept singing the praises of hers and it is indeed really nice to use, as it doesn't irritate the skin. It provides fairly good protection, as long as the weather's not too hot or you're not too active.
Another upside is that is readily available from most supermarkets or drugstores.

 

3 - Ginseng Sheet Mask (marox): Also from Primaprix discount supermarkets. I paid 1.50 EUR and have used it already. I liked it.

4 - Vintage-style Record and Cd player, from the brand Muse, available from *Amazon* (marox): We've done an extensive reno at home recently and I jumped at the opportunity to get a larger bookshelf for my room. This was the other addition, so I could listen to music again on something that wasn't my laptop. I love the vintage look and the fact that is great value for money. The speakers are not too powerful if you want to hear the music from another room, but in that case I connect *my Aukey* Bluetooth speaker that I got from Amazon a few years ago with a long cable and problem (somewhat) solved.

5 - Mini Slant tweezers by Tweezerman from Sephora: Both Marian and myself got one, as it was a steal at €7. Regular price is almost 15.

Mis regalos de cumpleaños / My birthday gifts.

Hola, chicas:
Hace unas semanas fue mi cumpleaños, así que aquí os enseño lo que me regaló Marox.

1- Colorete "Rose Gold" de Sleek.
En nuestra última visita a Beauty Gloss, Marox se percató de que me llamó la atención este colorete, y como ya sabéis que las caza al vuelo, pues eso.
Es un rosa que tira al coral, con partículas doraditas. No lo he probado todavía.



2- Desodorante "Tom's of Maine".
Como sabe que me gustan este tipo de desodorantes sin sales de aluminio, pues pa' la saca. A veces, en ciertos días del mes, los desodorantes de piedra alumbre se nos quedan un poco cortos. Estos otros me resultan más efectivos. Todavía no he probado éste en concreto. Prefiero gastar primero los que tengo abiertos. Comprado en Iherb.

3- Mascarilla facial perla iluminadora de Kueshi.
Este fue otro producto que me llamó bastante la atención en nuestra última visita a Beauty Gloss, más que nada por el formato.
Tengo algunas minitallas de mascarillas de tipo peel off que iré usando antes que ésta, pero la verdad es que le tengo muchas ganas.



4- Exfoliante corporal de chocolate, de Giovanni.
Ahora mismo estoy usando uno que me regaló de The Body Shop. Así que, cuando se me acabe, empezaré con éste.
Con lo que me gusta el chocolate, seguro que me encanta (aunque esto no se pueda comer).

5- Mascarilla facial iluminadora de "Quick Fix Facials".
Definitivamente mi hermana debe de verme la piel apagada, porque regalarme dos productos iluminadores en un solo lote me parece demasiado, pero no se lo tomaré a mal, jeje. Lo compró en Boots International junto con el siguiente producto.



6- Exfoliante facial microdermabrasión Nº7 de Boots.
Sabe que juega sobre seguro con este tipo de producto, porque sabe lo mucho que me gustó el exfoliante de microdermabrasión de Dr. Brandt. De hecho, lo que no me gustó de aquel producto era el precio, así que encontró éste mucho más asequible.
Obviamente, no sé cuánto le costó, pero desde luego, no fueron los más de 80 euros que cuesta el de Dr. Brandt.
Todavía no lo he usado.

7- Exfoliante de cuerpo con ámbar y semillas de rosa mosqueta, de Keims (minitalla).
Como es una minitalla, probablemente me lo lleve a algún viaje, como solemos hacer con este tipo de productos. Fue un obsequio que vino con el siguiente regalo.



8- Paletas imantadas personalizadas, de LovelPalettes. Son artesanales, hechas por Mª Jose, una chica del País Vasco. Las hace en tres tamaño: grande, mediano y pequeño. Las mías son la mediana y la pequeña.
Con este producto, no sabía si iba a acertar o no, pero la verdad es que lo ha hecho, y mucho.
Y con las huellitas de gato me ha ganado por completo. Ese ha sido el detalle que lo ha hecho personal.
He usado la paleta grande para poner mis sombras depotadas de NYX y Catrice.
Han quedado muy bien, aunque el imán no logra sujetar del todo bien algunas sombras, como las de NYX.

Ha acertado por completo en todo.
La verdad es que no sé cómo lo hace.
Yo soy mucho menos original, porque siempre acabo mirando la wishlist que tiene publicada en el blog, y que va actualizando.

Por último, os enseño el regalo que he recibido de Sephora este año.
No, esta vez no es el famoso tubo de loción corporal, sino esta torre de brillos labiales.
La verdad es que es monísima, perfecta para llevar en el bolso.

Estos han sido todos mis regalos potinguiles de cumpleaños, casi todos, dicho sea de paso por cuenta de Marox.

Mis padres me regalaron un reloj.

My birthday was a few weeks ago, so I'll be showing you here all the gifts I got from Marox.

1- 'Rose Gold' blush from Sleek: In our latest visit to Beauty Gloss, Marox noticed me lusting after this blush and knowing her as you probably do by now, she took note of that.
It's a pinky-coral shade with golden shimmer. Haven't tried it yet.

2- 'Tom's of Maine' deodorant: She knows I like aluminium-free deodorants and added this to her Iherb order from a couple of months ago. There are certain days every month when our crystal deodorants are not enough. These feel more effective, though I haven't put this one to the test yet. I'd rather use up the ones I have on rotation at the moment.



3- Highlighting pearl face mask from Kueshi. This was another item that caught my eye in our latest visit to the local beauty store I mentioned earlier, Beauty Gloss. I was drawn to the unique format.
I have a couple of trial-sized peel off masks I'll use before this, but I have to say I really want to try this one.


4- Chocolate body scrub, from Giovanni: I'm currently using the one she gave me from The Body Shop, but as soon as I've used that up I'll try this next.
As a self-confessed chocoholic, I'm sure I'll love this (even if it's not edible).



5- Highlighting face mask from 'Quick Fix Facials'. My sister must surely think I have dull skin, because giving me two brightening products at the same time seems a bit over the top. I won't hold a grudge against her, lol. Purchased at Boots International with the next item.

6- Microdermabrasion face scrub No.7 from Boots. She's definitely playing it safe when giving me these sort of products, being such a die-hard fan of the Dr. Brandt microdermabrasion cream. What I didn't like about it was the price, so she found this much cheaper alternative.
Needless to say I have no idea how much this was, but surely it didn't reach the +80 EUR price tag the Dr. Brandt has.
Haven't tested it yet.




7- Amber and Rose Hip Body scrub from Keims (trial size). The small size is perfect to take with me on a holiday, as we usually do with those. It was a freebie that came with my next present.


8- Custom magnetic palettes. These were handmade by Mª Jose (LovelPalettes), a very talented lady from the Basque Country. She makes these in three different sizes: large, medium and small. Mine are the small and the medium-sized ones.
I didn't know if this would be a success or not, but it has been, really.
What I really loved the most were the cat footprints. That's why they're really custom-made.
I've put my NYX and Catrice eyeshadows on the biggest palette. The look really good, though the magnet in it can't keep some eyeshadows (like NYX ones) properly stuck.

Marox has been successful in everything she's given me. I don't know about her secret.
I'm much more predictable. I only have to look at her wishlist (constantly updated) in this blog.

I'm finally ending this post showing you the gift I got from Sephora this year.
No, it's not that body lotion I've shown you every year, but this stackable 'lipgloss tower'.
It's sooo cute, perfect for carrying it in your purse.



These were all my make-up related gifts for my birthday (most of them from Marox).
