Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products (#27).

Hola, chicas:
Aquí venimos con una nueva entrega de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Esmalte craquelador Depend #5002: (marox). Al hacer limpieza entre mis esmaltes, ví que éste estaba sequísimo y que era imposible recuperarlo. Como podéis ver, el producto se ha quedado como hecho polvo. Curiosamente, el tono rojo de la misma marca, comprado a la vez, sigue como el primer día. No sé, quizá no estaba bien cerrado.

2- Repelente de mosquitos de Stanhome: Llevaba en casa ya bastante tiempo y al hacer limpieza de los armarios del baño, hemos decidido que teniendo en cuenta para lo que se usa, pasado ese tiempo ya no serviría de gran cosa.
Se vende únicamente a través de distribuidora, lo que hace difícil reponerlo en caso necesario. No repetiríamos.

3- Exfoliante de coco de Bodyfarm (Marian).
La verdad es que me ha gustado mucho este producto. Tiene los gránulos de un tamaño adecuado para hacer una buena exfoliación de la piel. No me importaría repetir con él.

4- Exfoliante facial de microdermabrasión de Dr. Brandt (Marian).
Este producto me ha encantado... si no fuera por su elevado precio, así que no repetiré con él.
Ahora estoy usando otros productos que más o menos me hacen el apaño. Obviamente, no son lo mismo, pero también cuestan infinitamente menos.

5- Exfoliante corporal de arándano y lichi de Sephora (marox): Formaba parte de un kit de minitallas que compró Marian en "Los Precios Locos". De momento es el único producto que he terminado del kit, aunque no el único que he probado.
La exfoliación que realiza es suficiente, no tiene un gránulo muy fuerte y tiene un olor muy agradable. Ignoro si Sephora sigue teniendo este producto, puesto que hicieron algunos cambios en su gama de productos de baño.

Bien, esto ha sido todo por el momento.

Here we are again with a new post to show you the stuff we've used up recently.

1- Depend crackle #5002: (marox) When cleaning up my polish stash, I noticed this was all dried out, beyond repair. As you can see, the lacquer has turned all powdery. Strangely enough, the red one from the same brand and bought at the same time is as good as new. I don't know, maybe the cap was not properly closed.

2-  Mosquito repellent from Stanhome: It'd been at home for a long time already and we decided to throw it away when doing some spring cleaning in the bathroom cabinets. Considering what this is used for and the time passed since we bought it, it would really be useless to keep it.
These products are sold exclusively through a distributor, which makes repurchasing more difficult, if that were the case, anyway.

3- Coconut body scrub from Bodyfarm (Marian).
I like this product very much. The scrub particles have the right size to exfoliate your skin well enough. I wouldn't mind buying it again.

4- Microdermabrasion face scrub from Dr. Brandt (Marian).
I love this product... except for the exorbitant price, so I won't be repeating with it.
I'm now using other products that give me almost the same result as this. Obviously, they aren't the same quality, but they do cost much less.

5 - Sephora cranberry and litchi body scrub (marox): It was included in a trial size kit that Marian purchased during the 'Crazy Prices' sales at Sephora. It's the only product from the set I've used up, though not the only one I've tried.
The scrub particles are not too harsh, the result is noticeable and it's very pleasantly scented. I don't really know whether this is actually still available, as Sephora made some changes to their body & bath range.

Productos terminados - 'Finito' products (#23).

Aquí estamos de nuevo con una reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Maquillaje Mineralize Satinfinish de MAC, en el tono NW25 (Marian).
Lo compré en la tienda MAC del aeropuerto de Barajas, antes de embarcarnos en nuestro viaje a Berlín, del que os hablamos en una de las primeras entradas de este blog.
No sé si con el tiempo se ha ido oscureciendo o qué, pero la verdad es que por sí sola esta base se ve más oscura que mi tono de piel, y es un efecto que no me gusta en absoluto.
Así que para no dejarla en el olvido (lo que me daría rabia, pues no es precisamente barata), he estado usándola mezclándola con mi BB cream.
Como las BB creams asiáticas suelen ser muy claras, esta combinación ha resultado perfecta para conseguir mi tono de piel.



2- Esponja de limpieza facial de Stanhome (Marian).
Nos regalaron varias de estas esponjas en un pedido que hicimos a Stanhome hace ya varios años.
La he estado utilizando para retirar restos de mascarilla facial, exfoliantes... ese tipo de cosas.
La verdad es que me ha encantado.
Esta que veis en realidad es media esponja, que me resultaba más manejable.
Tengo otra esponja entera sin usar, de la que haré dos, así que tendré para un montón de tiempo.
¿Y cuando se me acabe? Pues tienen unas similares en Mercadona, así que no hay problema.

3- Crema corporal con aceite de jojoba (Deliplus).
La hemos estado usando las dos, y la verdad es que nos ha gustado mucho.
La verdad es que hasta la fecha, todas las cremas corporales de Mercadona nos han gustado. Evidentemente, las habrá mejores en cuanto a hidratación y composición, pero hay variedad para elegir, y sobre todo están a buen precio. ¿Qué más se puede pedir?



4- Cabezal cepillo eléctrico Oral B Trizone (Marian).
Este es el cabezal que traía el cepillo cuando Marox me lo regaló por mi cumpleaños.
He estado apurándolo todo lo que he podido, y os puedo decir que me ha encantado.
Ahora estoy usando otro tipo de cabezal (redondo), y no sé, creo que me gusta más el primero.

5- Exfoliante facial microdermabrasión Dr. Brandt (formato tubo) (Marox).
Este formaba parte de un kit de productos de la marca que compró Marian en Sephora, aprovechando los precios locos.
Como Marian ya tenía (y tiene todavía) la versión en tarro (que trae más cantidad), me dio ésta a mí.
En cuanto al producto, nada que objetar, pues ya lo conocía, y me ha gustado mucho.
Pero sí tengo algo que objetar hacia el envase, pues no se aprovecha todo el producto. Por la razón que sea, se quedaba bloqueado en el envase y costaba la vida misma sacarlo de ahí.
Cuando ya parecía que no salía más producto, he cortado el envase y todavía he tenido para varias aplicaciones.



6- Crema contorno de ojos de Biocura (ALDI) (Marox).
Muy baratita y con una composición muy natural, como casi todos los productos de belleza de estos supermercados alemanes. Eso sí, prefería la versión antigua de este producto, ya que tenía una textura más agradable. Esta recuerda demasiado a una crema solar y en comparación con la otra, se queda algo corta de hidratación.

Bien, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

Here we are again with a new quick review of the products we've used up recently.

1- Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation from MAC, in the shade NW25 (Marian).
I bought it at the MAC store in Madrid-Barajas International Airport, before boarding our flight to Berlin, a trip we told you about in one of our first blogposts.
I don't know if it has turned darker over time, but the truth is that this foundation is too dark for me, and I don't like that effect at all.
I didn't want it to rot in oblivion (which would make me angry, because it's not exactly cheap), so I've been using it by mixing it with my BB cream.
Since Asian BB creams tend to be of very light shades, this combination was just perfect to match my skintone.

2- Face cleansing sponge from Stanhome (Marian).
We got some of these with an order from Stanhome we made some years ago.
I've been using it to remove any residues of face masks, face scrub... and so on.
I really love it.
What you see here is actually half a sponge, which is much more handy.
I have another new sponge that I will again cut in half, so they'll last me a long time.
And what will happen when it's used up? Well, similar ones are sold at Mercadona, so there's no problem.



3- Body butter with jojoba oil from Deliplus.
We've both been using this and we like it very much.
Actually, we like all the body butters from Mercadona that we've tried so far. There will probably be better ones out there in terms of hydration and ingredients, but there are many different ones to choose from, and they're fairly reasonably good priced. What else can we ask for?

4- Trizone Electric toothbrush head from Oral B (Marian).
This is the same head that came with the toothbrush that Marox gave me for my birthday.
I've been using it as much as I could, and I can say that I love it.
Now I'm using a different type of brush head (one of the round ones from OralB), and I think I like the first one better.



5- Microdermabrasion face scrub from Dr. Brandt (in tube format) (Marox).
This one was included in a kit of trial-sized products that Marian bought at Sephora, as it was discounted during their Crazy Prices sales.
Since Marian already had (and still has) the one that comes in a jar with more product, she gave me this one.
As for the product, nothing to object here, because I've already tried it, and I like it very much.
But the packaging does deserve a smackdown, because I took pains to get product out of it, talk about use it up entirely.
When it seemed I could no longer get any, I cut the tube and I managed to scrape enough product for several uses.

6- Eye cream from Biocura (ALDI) (Marox).
It's very cheap and with a very natural ingredient list, as most of the beauty products from these German discount supermarkets.
However, I preferred the old version of this product, because the texture was much nicer. This new one reminds me of sunscreen and when comparing it to the older one, it falls short in the moisturizing department.

Aquí estamos con otra entrega de los productos que hemos terminado recientemente, y una breve opinión acerca de ellos.

Here we are with a new post to talk about the products we have used up recently, and a short review about them.

1- Lápiz de ojos retráctil de P2.
Sin duda, este es el mejor que he probado hasta la fecha. Y encima, no llegó a 2€, en las droguerías alemanas DM.
Pigmenta como ninguno en la línea de agua, es cremoso y se desliza fenomenal.
No creo que vuelva a tener uno así.
Si encuentro este producto en alguna tienda online que envíe a España, no descarto hacerme con otro. De momento usaré otros lápices que tengo olvidados, y también el eyeliner en gel de Alverde (ese que revivo con Mixing Solution de Kiko).

2- Exfoliante facial Dr. Brandt.
Os lo presenté *aquí*, y os diré que me ha encantado. Tanto que ya tengo otro de repuesto, que usaré alternándolo con el de Soap&Glory que compré en Dublín.

3- Manteca corporal de Bubbly "Flower Therapy Smoothie".
Huele genial, se aplica muy bien y cunde muchísimo. Creo que costaba 5€.
Tenemos otro de Bubbly en otro aroma que no hemos estrenado todavía. Iremos usando otros mientras tanto (tenemos todavía un montón).

4- Maquillaje mate de larga duración "Hydro Matt" en el tono "Light" de Basic (Schlecker).
Ni es mate ni es de larga duración (al menos para mí), así que mal empezamos.
Y para ser el tono más claro, a mí me iba oscurísimo, así que lo he estado utilizando junto a mi BB cream de Missha (sí, todavía la tengo, y la uso casi a diario)
que me quedaba demasiado clara (y más en verano).

5- Champú nutritivo al aceite de oliva "Cien" (Lidl).
No, no penséis que hemos abandonado nuestros champús sólidos. ¡Nunca!
Pero para ir a la piscina, por ejemplo, este otro tipo de productos viene muy bien.
Así que lo hemos estado utilizando sólo en esas ocasiones, y os diremos que es un champú normalito, pero por el precio que tiene, no está mal.

Bueno, hasta aquí esta entrega de nuestros productos terminados.

1- Retractable eye pencil from P2.
This is undoubtedly the best eyeliner pencil I've tried so far. It costs less than €2 and is sold at German drugstores DM.
Pigmentation is outstanding also on the waterline, it's creamy and glides on perfectly.
I don't think that I'll ever have another one like this.
If I ever find this item at an online store which ships to Spain, I wouldn't rule out buying a new one. Until then I'll be using some eye pencils I left unused, and also that gel eyeliner from Alverde (the one I use to bring back to life with Kiko's Mixing Solution).

2- Exfoliating face cream from Dr. Brandt.
I showed it to you *here*, and I must say that I love it. I like it so much that I bought a new one, which I'll be using together with the Soap&Glory one that I bought in Dublin. 

3- Body butter from Bubbly/Bodyline 'Flower Therapy Smoothie'.
It smells great, its application is fantastic and it spreads out really well and a little product goes a long way. I think this was €5.
We have another one from Bubbly with a different scent which we have not used yet. We'll be using other ones in the meantime (we still have a lot of unused ones). 

4- 'Hydro matt' long-lasting make-up from Basic (Schlecker), in the shade 'Light'.
Well, there are three lies here: it's not matt, it's not long-lasting, and its shade is not light.
This is a bad beginning.
To be the lightest shade, it was too dark for me, so I've been using it together with my BB cream from Missha (Yes, I still have my Vita Matt, and use it almost everyday), which is too light for me (and even lighter in summer).

5- Olive oil nourishing shampoo 'Cien' (Lidl).
No, don't think that we've left aside our beloved shampoo bars. Never!
But these kind of products are quite good to take them to the swimming pool, for example.
We've used it just for those occasions, and we'll tell you that it's a 'neither good nor bad' shampoo, but it's not that bad for the price.

Well, this is all for now with our 'finito' products.

Compras varias acumuladas - Sundry haul.

Aquí venimos de nuevo con otra entrega de nuestras últimas compras de cosmética (bueno, a día de hoy, ya no son las últimas) en Carrefour, Douglas y Sephora.
Creo que es la vez que más productos de cosmética hemos comprado en un solo día.

Empezamos con las de Carrefour.
Hace poco tiempo han renovado la línea de productos de cosmética de su marca propia, y decidimos traernos a casa un spray corporal con olor a té verde. Sabéis que este tipo de productos nos encantan, así que de una marca o de otra, siempre tenemos alguno.
También habían traído un montón de productos de la marca Lixoné. Hasta ahora, sólo conocíamos el jabón de azufre para pieles grasas, que últimamente Marox me traía de "contrabando", pues por aquí no lo encontraba... hasta ahora.
Pero como había tantos tipos de jabones a elegir y el de azufre ya lo conocía, me decidí por los de sales del mar Muerto y arcilla.
Además, tenían una promoción 2x1 en el gel anticelulítico, que también nos trajimos a casa.

Sin salir del Centro Comercial, nos pasamos por Douglas. Allí compré esta crema concentrada anti-manchas, de la marca GoodSkin Labs. Y es que tengo una mancha bastante grande en la cara, que normalmente disimulo con el corrector y el maquillaje, pero si puedo hacerla menos visible, pues mucho mejor.
Llevo ya algunas semanas utilizándola y parece que la mancha está más difuminada (no sé si serán imaginaciones mías).

Justo al lado de la caja, tenían estos pulidores de uñas de 4 pasos, así que nos trajimos uno para cada una. Todavía no los hemos probado. Ya os contaremos.

Y para finalizar las compras de este día, nos fuimos a Sephora. Como se me había terminado la exfoliante facial de Dr. Brandt que tanto me ha gustado, no quería quedarme sin repuesto, así que decidí comprar otra.
Menos mal que tenía un sms de descuento, porque la crema cuesta... ¡80 pavos!
La verdad es que me gusta mucho, pero si puedo encontrar una alternativa más barata, lo prefiero.

Y siguiendo con la exfoliación facial, me compré este disco exfoliante. Ví uno parecido (de una marca japonesa, creo) en el blog de Julia Phoenix, y cuanto vi éste, me pareció una buena oportunidad para probar uno de estos productos. Hasta ahora conocía los cepillitos exfoliantes, pero se tiende a acumular suciedad entre las cerdas; sin embargo estos discos me parecen más higiénicos. Ya os contaré qué tal va, porque no lo he probado todavía. En Internet tenéis alternativas más baratas.

Bueno, esto es todo por el momento.

Here we are again with another post about our latest cosmetic haul (well, now it's not the latest one anymore) at Carrefour, Douglas and Sephora.
I think this is the time we've purchased the largest amount of cosmetic products in one day.

Let's start with our purchases at Carrefour.
They renewed their own cosmetic products range not so long ago.
We brought with us a green tea scented body spray from their own brand. You know that we love this kind of items, so we always have one of these, no matter the brand.
They also had lots of products from Lixoné. By now, we only tried the sulphur soap for oily skin, which Marox used to 'smuggle' for me, because I didn't find them here... until now.
But since there were so many kinds of soap bars to try and I had already tried the sulphur one, I chose the Dead Sea Salts and Clay ones.
Besides, they had a 2x1 offer on the anticellulite gel, which we also brought with us.



Without leaving the Shopping Centre, we went to Douglas. There I bought this Dark Spot Concentrate, from GoodSkin Labs. I have quite a big dark spot on my face, which I use to cover with make-up and concealer, but if I can make it less visible this way, so much the better.
I've been using it for several weeks now and it seems the dark spot is more 'faded' (I don't know if it's just my imagination).



Just next to the cash desk, they had these 4- step nail polishers, so we bought one for each. We haven't tried them yet. We'll tell you about them soon.

And to end the shopping session of the day, we went to Sephora. As my Dr. Brandt exfoliating face cream had ended up, I didn't want to find myself without it, so I bought another one as back-up.
It's just as well that I had received an sms with an offer from Sephora, as the face cream is... €80!
I truly like it much, but I really wish I could find a cheaper one.



And on the subject of facial exfoliation, I bought this exfoliating disc. I saw a similar one (from a Japanese brand, I think) on Julia Phoenix blog, so when I saw this one, I thought it was a good opportunity to try one of those.
I already knew about exfoliating brushes, but dirt often collects around the bristles; however, these discs seem more hygienic.
When I try it, I'll tell you how it works.

Aquí estoy otra vez. Hoy vengo a enseñaros mi última compra en Sephora (y lo que me regalaron por mi cumpleaños).

Here I am again. Today I'm showing you my latest purchase at Sephora (and their gift for my birthday).

Vamos a empezar con lo que compré.

Se trata de una crema exfoliante facial de Dr. Brandt. Tenía una muestra que me dieron con ocasión de otra compra que hice, y en nuestro reciente viaje a Amsterdam (que tantas entradas ha generado en este blog) la probé..., y me encantó.

Let's start with the purchase.

It's an exfoliating face cream from Dr. Brandt. I had a sample they gave me some time ago with something I bought, and in our recent trip to Amsterdam (which has brought so many posts in this blog) I tried it..., and I fell in love with it.

Siempre había pensado que para que una crema exfoliante hiciera bien su función tenía que tener el grano grueso. Pues ésta lo tiene minúsculo; para que os hagáis una idea, sería como... el bicarbonato de sodio.

Pues bien, el resultado es asombroso. Deja la piel lisa y con muy buen aspecto. Tanto, que un día, después de haberla usado (y sin haberme puesto después nada más que mi crema hidratante), mi madre me preguntó que si me había maquillado. Después de decirle lo que había usado, me animó a que la comprara (aunque pensaba hacerlo de todas formas).

I've always thought that a good exfoliating cream should have quite big scrubbing particles. Well, this cream has very tiny ones; to make you get an idea, they're like... sodium bicarbonate.

Ok, the results are amazing. It gives your skin a smooth and healthy appearance. So much that one day, after using it (and wearing nothing else than my moisturizer), my mother asked me if I had put make-up on. When I told her what I used, she encouraged me to buy it (I was going to do it anyway).

Lo peor de esta crema es el precio. Creo que eran 76 eurazos, pero ahora viene lo mejor (o lo menos malo). Tuve la gran suerte de entrar en la tienda durante la “Happy Hour”, en la que todos los artículos tenían un 15% de descuento. De esta forma, el agujero en el bolsillo fue algo menor.

The worst thing about this cream is its price. I think it was €76, but now comes the best (or the least bad). I was lucky to come into the store during the 'Happy Hour', in which all the items are 15% off. And therefore the hole in my wallet was somewhat smaller.

Y como además presenté el cupón que me mandaron por mi cumpleaños, me llevé un regalito: una loción corporal de 125 ml. Está formulada sin parabenos, es muy ligera y se absorbe muy bien.

And as I showed the coupon they sent me for my birthday, I got a gift: a 125 ml size body lotion. It's formulated without parabens, it has very light texture and it's absorbed at once by the skin.

A mayores me dieron un par de muestras: una de maquillaje de su marca y la otra de una prebase de maquillaje. Todavía no las he probado. ¡Quién sabe! Quizá en un próximo viaje...

Besides, I was given a couple of samples: a foundation from their own brand and the other one of their make-up primer. I haven't tried them yet, but who knows! Maybe in a future trip...
