Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.

1 - Manteca corporal de karité de TBS (marox): Me hice con esta manteca gracias a una revista, aunque ya la habría probado antes.
A pesar de ser de karité, no es de las más hidratantes que he probado de la marca (almendra y moringa).
Estas mantecas están bien si nos hacemos con ella a buen precio.

2- Aceite capilar de Kerastase (Marian).
Fue uno de nuestros hallazgos de mercadillo. Lo uso después de lavarme el cabello. Echo muy poquita cantidad en la palma de la mano, froto las manos y lo reparto por el pelo, sobre todo en las puntas.
Deja el pelo con mucho brillo.


3 - Desodorante Desert Essence de limón y árbol de té: Compré este desodorante hace ya tiempo y lo teníamos en nuestra otra casa. Marian lo intentó usar un par de veces, pero le irritaba la piel. Yo lo he podido aprovechar algo más, pero hacia el final parecía que también me irritaba un poco. No sé si es que al llevar ya un tiempo abierto estaba mal o qué. Puesto que últimamente estamos usando desodorantes sin aluminio de supermercado (Primaprix, principalmente), no repetiremos con éstos.
Lo compré en Vitacost o iHerb.

4 - Mini manteca Berry Bon Bon (y Moringa) de TBS: La primera (en la foto), la he podido terminar sin problema. La tenía en un neceser de viaje y la rescaté. Me daba miedo que se echara a perder. Por desgracia, es lo que me ha pasado con la de moringa. Mea culpa. Huele tan bien que me daba pena que se me gastara... y tonta de mí, he tenido que tirar lo que quedaba porque olía rancio. ¿Os pasan estas cosas?
La de frutos rojos vino con una revista, la otra la compramos aprovechando una promoción 3X2 en una tienda física que compramos en un viaje.

5 - Leche corporal hidratante de almendras MySkin. Creo que era la marca propia de los antiguos supermercados El Arbol, así que con eso ya os hacéis una idea del tiempo que hace que la compramos (la compró nuestra madre, a decir verdad). Estaba también en la otra casa y aprovechando las vacaciones, la hemos terminado.
Aunque lleva parafina líquida, ingrediente del que suelo huir, lo cierto es que hidrataba bien la piel. El dispensador no funcionaba muy bien, eso sí.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 - Shea TBS Body Butter (marox): I got my hands on this thanks to a magazine, although I'd used it before.
Despite this being based on shea, it isn't among their most moisturizing ones (those being the almond and moringa, in my experience).
These body butters are worth it as long as you can get them for cheap.

2 - Kerastase Hair Oil (Marian): It was one of our street market finds. I use it after washing my hair, only a small amount. Then I rub my hands together and spread it on my hair, specially the ends.
My hair looks very shiny.

 

3 - Desert Essence lemon tea tree deodorant: I bought this quite a while ago and it was at our second home. Marian used it a couple of times until it gave her a rash. I was able to use it longer, but eventually, it started to irritate my skin too. I don't whether it has to do with the fact that it had been in use for quite a while and had gone off or what. Considering that lately we've been sticking to aluminium-free brands available locally (namely, at Primaprix discount supermarket), we won't repurchase in the future.
I ordered this from Vitacost or iHerb.

4 - TBS mini body butters in Berry Bon Bon and Moringa: I was able to finish the former (pictured), which I had in a travel toiletry bag. I was afraid it would go bad and 'rescued' it from oblivion. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to the latter. My bad. The TBS Moringa line smells so friggin' good that I am always sad to use it up and kept saving it for special occasions or getaways. Silly me. I had to throw the rest of it away because it did go bad. Does this ever happen to you?
The former was a magazine freebie and the latter was bought as part of a 3X2 deal at a brick and mortar shop that we bought on some holiday.

 
5 - Almond Body Milk, MySkin. I believe this was the store brand of a Spanish supermarket chain that went out of business, El Arbol. That gives you a good idea of the fact this has been with us for a while. It was in our second home too and since we got to spend some time there we made it a point to use it up.  
It contains paraffinum liquidum, an ingredient I stay away from -our mum got this-, but to be honest, this did a decent job at moisturizing our skin, though the pump dispenser wasn't very good.

Compras varias 2020 / Sundry Haul 2020 (III)

Hola, chicas.

Aquí venimos a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente, aunque ya aviso que tengo otro post de compras en el horno que estoy deseando compartir con vosotros.

1 - Manteca corporal de granada y bayas de goji de Lidl: Lidl es uno de los supermercados que más cerca nos queda para hacer la compra. Me sorprendió verlas, ya que no las trajeron en su día. Había otras novedades que parecían interesantes (gama Skin Foodies) -un par de cremas faciales y de manos bastante decentes-, pero compré un par de estas mantecas: una para mí y otra para Marian. Yo tardaré bastante en probarla, porque tengo unas cuantas compradas antes e intento irlas gastando por orden de antigüedad. Marian creo que acaba de estrenar la suya.
El precio fue de 2,49€ cada una.
Son veganas, contienen varios aceites y ácido hialurónico.

2 - Desodorante Dove 0% (marox): Lo compré en... Primaprix. Precio: 1.50€
No lo he estrenado aún, pero como allí los tienen muy bien de precio y los que hemos probado hasta ahora nos han gustado, pues siempre viene bien tener repuesto.

3 - Mascarilla facial Pure & Care (marox): De Primaprix también, al módico precio de 0,95€. Tengo otra sin estrenar.

4 - Sérum Pure & Care de ácido hialurónico: Es de la marca que fabrica para Primaprix. Me sorprendió que sólo tuvieran este formato mini de 5 ml, cuando siempre han tenido de 30ml. No es mala idea para probar el producto y saber si nos convence o no, o para llevar de viaje. Trae cuentagotas, como suele ser habitual en este tipo de producto.
Precio: 1,95€
Lo he probado y aunque no está mal, me sigue gustando más el de Scinic.

5 - Mascarillas reutilizables con filtro de *Aliexpress*: Compré una para cada uno de la familia y un par de paquetes de filtros. La de mi padre, en gris más discretas y las nuestras en distintos tonos, todos muy 'de sirena'. Me temo que las mascarillas van a formar parte de nuestras vidas a partir de ahora y ya de tener que llevarlas, pues al menos 'con glamour' y de paso, generamos menos residuos.
Al tener válvula, en ciertos sitios como hospitales es mejor NO usarlas, pero para ir por la calle están bien.
Las alternamos con alguna de las muchas que ha cosido Marian.

6- Desodorante Cien (Lidl) sin sales de aluminio.
Fue un encargo de Marian, que se había quedado sin desodorante.
Le está gustando mucho.
Como veis en la foto, es en formato roll-on.

Here we are to show you our latest purchases. Mind you that I have another Haul post that is in the works that I can't wait to share with you.

1 - Pomegranate and goji berries Body Butter from Lidl: Lidl is one of the supermarkets that are closer to my parents' home here and where we do most of our shopping. I was surprised to see these since our store didn't have them when they first came out. There were a few more releases from a new line called Skin Foodies - a couple of face creams and hand creams that looked decent enough -, but I got two of these butters, one for myself and another one for Marian. It will take me a longer time to use mine since I have others that were bought earlier and I like to use them in order of purchase. I believe Marian will soon open hers.
Price: €2.49 each.
They're vegan and contain several oils as well as hyaluronic acid.

2 - Dove 0% deodorant (marox): I got it at... my nearest Primaprix outlet supermarket. Price: €1.50
I haven't tried it yet. I like to get them there since they're much more affordable than elsewhere. The ones we've tried so far were quite good and it's nice to have a small stockpile. 

3 - Pure & Care Sheet Mask (marox):
Also from Primaprix, at €0.95. I already had one of these, but I haven't tried them yet.

4- Pure&Care hyaluronic acid serum:
It's from their house brand. I was surprised to only find these 5ml mini sizes when they normally have 30ml bottles. However, it's not a bad idea to test them and see if you like them enough or to use them for travelling. It does come with a dropper, like most serums.
Price: €1.95
I've tried it a few times. It's not a bad product, but I prefer the Scinic one I normally use.

5 - Reusable face masks with filter from *Aliexpress*: I bought one for each of us and 2 sets of filters. My dad's rather modest but ours in different 'mermaid' shades. I'm afraid that face masks are here to stay and will be a part of our lives from now on. And if we have to wear one, we'd better do it in style and minimize waste at the same time. 

Since they have a valve, it's better NOT to use them inside a hospital, for instance, but to wear outside they're absolutely fine.
We're using these in conjunction with the ones Marian made.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2020 (IV)

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.

1- Perfume Lalique: Se ha terminado tanto mi frasco como el que le regalé a mi madre. Nos ha gustado muchísimo, pero sí que hemos notado que cuando queda como la mitad del frasco el olor no es tan intenso ni perdura tanto. Lo compré en *Notino* a ciegas (tras leer reseñas en *Fragantica*) y ha sido todo un descubrimiento. Que sepamos, no la venden en las perfumerías españolas, por lo que no es un perfume que la gente conozca y esté trillado.



2- Desodorante en barra Lactovit 0% sales de aluminio (Marian).
Me ha gustado mucho este desodorante. Protege bien, y no me ha irritado la piel.
No descarto repetir con él.

3- Desodorante en barra Queen Helene Aloe Vera (Marian).
No lo he llegado a terminar, porque cada vez que lo usaba, me picaban las axilas. Con otros de la marca no me ha ocurrido, pero de momento no repetiré, teniendo otras opciones.



4 - Espuma de ducha Cien Lidl (marox):Seguro que recordáis esta colección que sacó Lidl hace ya algún tiempo. Había 2 lineas diferentes, que recordaban a los productos de Rituals. Si bien los olores no están para nada tan logrados como los de Rituals, el precio es mucho más ajustado. Lo que más me ha gustado es que el dispensador no suelta un chorro a toda caña al principio, sino que lo hace de forma controlada, algo que no me pasa con los de Rituals.
De momento no me haré con ninguna espuma más. Prefiero formatos más ecológicos.

5- Manteca corporal de coco de The Body Shop (Marian).
Ya sabéis que el olor a coco me encanta, así que esta manteca no podía ser menos.
Es muy hidratante y agradable de usar, como todas las de la marca.
Ésta vino de regalo con una revista.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 -  Lalique EdP: I finished my own bottle and so did our mum hers. We truly loved this, but we did notice that by the time you get to the middle of the bottle the scent is not as strong or lasting on the skin. It was a somewhat blind purchase off *Notino* (though I did read quite a lot of reviews on *Fragantica*) and has been an excellent discovery. It's not available at any Spanish drugstore that we are aware of, so it's not a fragrance people know or are sick to death of.

2 - Lactovit 0% aluminium salts stick deodorant (Marian). I really liked this one. It keeps you odour-free and didn't irritate my skin. I don't rule out getting it again.



3 - Queen Helene Aloe Vera deodorant stick (Marian): I didn't really use it up, because it stang my armpits. It's never happened to me using others from this brand, but considering I now have other choices I won't get those either.

4- Cien shower foam from Lidl (marox): You may remember this collection that Lidl released some time ago. They had two different lines that were very reminiscent of Rituals. Although the scents are nowhere near as enticing as the latter, you can get these for a fraction of the price.
What I liked best was the fact that the pump dispenser does not shoot out product like Rituals do at the beginning. It comes out nicely instead.
I won't get any more foams for the time being, as I prefer more environmentally-friendly formats.



5- Coconut body butter from The Body Shop (Marian).
You already know that I love coconut scented stuff, so this body butter is right up my alley.
It's very moisturizing and pleasant to use, just like all the ones from this brand.
This was  a magazine freebie some time ago.

Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2020 (III)

En esta ocasión os enseñamos los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 -  Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide' (marox): La compré muy baratita -por 1,25€, ya que caducaba pronto- en ese antro de perdición llamado *Primaprix*. Por cierto, en *Groupon* tuvieron una oferta interesante: comprando un cupón de 1€ te descontaban 4€ por una compra mínima de 7€. Estaba limitada a un cupón por persona.
No recuerdo si os había enseñado este producto en una entrada de compras. Probablemente no me ha dado ni tiempo.

2 - Recambios compatibles Oral B de Lidl: Como diría Beatriz de MissPotingues, se van de cabeza a Mis Descartes. La calidad es muy desigual en el pack: algunos recambios se ponen ¡y quitan! bien y otros en cambio no hay manera de que salgan, hasta el punto que estropeas el recambio al quitarlo. Olvidaos de ellos si de forma habitual o aunque sea ocasional, tenéis que compartir la base del cepillo. Creo recordar que no llegaron por poco a los 5€ por el paquete de 8. Aunque el precio está muy bien, no los recomiendo en absoluto.

3 - Mascarilla arcilla violeta Sephora (marox):  Ni que decir tiene que me ha durado muuuchooo más que los 4 usos que pone en el envase. Hablando de envase, me parece de lo más práctico y es una pena que hayan prescindido de él.


4- Perfume "Lovely"- Sarah Jessica Parker (Marian).
Fue un regalo de marox, como todos los perfumes que he venido usando últimamente.
A mí me ha gustado, pero cuando lo ha usado ella en alguna ocasión, dice que ni fú ni fa.

5 - Manteca corporal de Natura Estónica (marox): La compré hace ya bastantes meses en Druni y como casi todo lo de esta marca, me ha parecido un producto muy bueno. El aroma quizá no es tan goloso como las de TBS que suelo usar, pero se extiende bien, el tarro contiene 300ml y creo recordar que no llegó a los 4€, por lo que genial en cuanto a relación calidad-precio.

This time we're showing you what we've used up recently.

1 - Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide (marox):  I got this for a steal -€1.25 to be exact, due to the short expiration date- at that sinful outlet supermarket called Primaprix. By the way, they recently had a Groupon deal where you paid €1 and got €4 off with a minimum purchase of €7. It was limited to one per person, though.
I don't recall if I got round to showing you this in a Haul post. I may not even had time to do so.

2 - Oral B compatible brush heads from Lidl: Just like one of our followers, Beatriz from Miss Potingues would say, they go straight to Mis Descartes or Items to Throw Away without a backward glance.
I noticed the quality is very hit and miss within the same package: some brush heads are easy to put on and take off whereas others are a real pain to take off, to the point that you ruin the piece in the process. Forget about these replacements if you need to share the brush body on a regular or even occasional basis. I believed these retailed for slightly under €5 and came in an 8-pack. As affordable as they may be, I wouldn't recommend them at all.


3 - Sephora purple clay mask (marox):  Needless to say I managed to stretch this muuch further than the 4 uses stated on the packaging. On the subject of packaging, this is super convenient and it's just a pity Sephora decided to discontinue this mask format.

4- 'Lovely' by Sarah Jessica Parker fragrance (Marian).
It was a gift from marox, as every fragrance I've been using lately.
I liked it quite much, but when she used it some times, she didn't like it. 

 
5 - Natura Estonica Body Butter (marox): I bought this many months ago and with pretty much everything I've tried from the brand, I really liked it. The scent may not be as gourmand as those TBS I'm now so used to, but it's great value for money, with a 300ml tub. It's easy to spread and if memory serves, this was less than €4.

Compras varias / Sundry Haul 2020 (II)

Aquí estamos de nuevo, para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Champú 97% natural de Deliplus (marox): Ya teníamos este champú en casa de mis padres. Para ser sin SLS hace espuma y es agradable de usar. Compré otro para tener yo durante la cuarentena, ya que me gusta tener varios champús y suelo ir alternando. Contiene extractos de tilo, salvia y cedro. Cuesta 1,95€

2 - ManteK Mar Muerto de Deliplus (marox): Tenía un par de ellas en casa de mis padres, pero claro, por entonces no estaba con ellos pasando la cuarentena y de poco me servían. De momento, sólo la he probado en la mano y parece agradable.
Cuesta 3,80€

3 - Gel de ducha 98% Natural de Deliplus (marox): Este sí que no lo he probado, aunque por lo que tengo entendido está muy bien también. Cuesta 1,50€

4 - Recambio cepillos Deliplus (compatibles con Oral B) - (marox): No los he probado aún. Cuestan 3.95€



5 - Esmalte Wet n Wild 'Stay Classy' (marox): Pertenece a la linea 1 Step Wonder Gel. Lo compré en un hipermercado Lupa que me queda muy cerca del piso donde estoy viviendo este curso, aprovechando que salí a hacer la compra semanal. Precio: 2,99€
En breve tendréis una manicura con este esmalte.

6- Champú L'Oreal Elvive de jojoba (Marian).
Se me estaba terminando el champú sólido que compré en Druni, y compré éste en Alcampo.
Lo elegí por su grado de hidratación y nutrición, pues el pelo rizado tiende a ser bastante seco.
Lo he probado ya, y la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho. Me ha dejado el pelo con mucho brillo.

 7 - Revista Glamour mayo (marox): Ha sido la única que he comprado este mes de momento. Las demás no traían regalo o no habían llegado aún. Al igual que en meses anteriores, la revista en sí muy pobre de contenido. Hay folletos de tiendas con más información.

Here we are again, to show you our latest purchases.

1 - Deliplus -Mercadona 97% Natural Shampoo (marox): We have this one at my parents'. Surprisingly for an SLS-free shampoo, it does lather nicely. I bought another one for myself during the lockdown, since I like to rotate the ones I have. It contains lime blossom, sage, and cedar extracts. It retails for €1.95

2 - Deliplus ManteK Body Butter (marox): I have a few TBS body butters at my parents' but they were obviously of little use there to me, as I wasn't spending lockdown with them back then. So far I've only tested this on the back of my hand and seems good enough.
It retails for €3.80.

3 - Deliplus 98% Natural Shower Gel (marox): I haven't used this one yet, but it does have positive reviews. It retails for €1.50

4 - Deliplus electric toothbrush heads (Oral B compatible)-(marox): Haven't tested them yet. They retail for €3.95

5 - Wet n Wild nail polish in the shade 'Stay Classy' (marox): It is from their 1 Step Wonder Gel line. I bought this from a local hypermarket that happens to be a stone's throw from where I'm living this year -and initially quarantining- in my weekly outing to go grocery shopping. This retailed at €2.99. Expect a mani with this shade real soon.

 
6- Jojoba shampoo from L'Oreal Elvive (Marian).
I was about to finish the shampoo bar I bought at Druni, so I purchased this one at Alcampo.
I chose this one for its high nutrition, as curly hair tends to be quite dry.
I've already used it, and I like it much. It leaves my hair shiny. 

7 - Glamour magazine May (marox): It's the only one I got this month so far. The others either didn't make it to my kiosk just yet or didn't have any interesting freebies. As for the magazine itself, really poor when it comes to the content. Some chain store magazines may be more informative than this.

Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2020 (II)

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 - Perfilador automático Essence azul, tono #09 Cool Down (marox): Ya sabéis que me gustan los perfiladores de ojos únicamente en formato automático. Los de Essence dan muy buen resultado y están disponibles en muchos colores. La mina no se queda dura con el paso del tiempo, cosa que sí me ha pasado con, por ejemplo, los antiguos de Mercadona.

2 - Desodorante Dove sin aluminio, pomelo y hierbalimón (Marox):
Lo compramos en *Primaprix* y a las dos nos ha gustado más la variedad de pepino, ya que irrita menos la piel tras la depilación y protege mejor. Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta de que se trata de desodorantes y no antitranspirantes.

3- Champú de agua de coco de Organics OGX (Marian).
Es totalmente transparente y un poco espeso, lo que quiere decir que con poca cantidad es suficiente.
Deja el pelo hidratado, pero sin sensación grasa.
No descarto repetir con él, aunque de momento he vuelto a los champús sólidos.
A mi hermana se le hizo un poco denso, decía que le dejaba el pelo un poco apelmazado, al tenerlo fino.
Lo compré en una perfumería Arenal.



4- Gel de dermabrasión facial de Origins (Marian).
Es una mini talla que venía en un cracker que compré en los precios locos de Sephora.
Me ha gustado mucho. Tiene un gránulo de un tamaño adecuado para exfoliar la piel sin irritarla.

5- Manteca corporal de haba tonka, de Cien, de venta en Lidl (Marian).
Ya la había probado, y me había gustado mucho, así que volví a comprarla.
Se extiende muy bien en la piel, y la deja hidratada, pero sin sensación grasa.
Por lo visto en febrero han debido tener una nueva linea de granada o goji, que también incluía una manteca corporal, pero a nuestra tienda más cercana no ha llegado.

6 - Serum de ácido hialurónico coreano de Scinic (marox): Un clásico que no puede faltarme, aunque a veces he estado tentada de probar otras marcas. Como siempre, lo compré por Ebay.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties'.

1 - Essence automatic eyeliner pencil in #09 Cool Down (marox): You know that I only use eyeliner pencils that come in a twist-up format. The Essence ones are a great bang for your buck and work great, as well as being available in a wide range of shades. The pencil lead doesn't harden over time, unlike others I've tried, i.e. the old Deliplus -Mercadona ones.

2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant, grapefruit and lemongrass: We got this from Outlet supermarket Primaprix and we both prefer the other scent available, with cucumber extract, since it doesn't irritate the skin after shaving and provides far better protection.
That being said, bear in mind these are just deodorants and not antiperspirants.



3- Organics (Ogx) coconut water shampoo (Marian).
It's totally transparent and the consistency is a bit thick, so a small amount goes a long way.
It leaves your hair moisturised, but without a greasy feeling.
I will probably repurchase it in the future, but now I'm using shampoo bars again.
My sister said it was a bit too thick and heavy for her thin hair. 
I bought this at Arenal drugstores.

4- Origins 'Modern Friction' dermabrasion gel (Marian).
It's a mini size included in a cracker I bought at the Sephora sales.
I like it very much. Its exfoliating particles are the right size to gently scrub the skin on your face without irritating it.



5- Tonka bean body butter by Cien (sold at Lidl supermarkets) (Marian).
I've already used it before, and I liked it, so I bought it again.
It's very easy to apply, and leaves your skin moisturized, but not greasy. 
Lidl supermarkets apparently had in February another range based on pomegranate or goji which included a body butter, but it was nowhere to be seen at our nearest supermarket. 

6 - Scinic hyaluronic acid ampoule (marox): It's a staple in my skincare routine, although I've been tempted to try out other ones a few times. As always, I got this off Ebay.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (V).

Aquí estoy para enseñaros mis últimas compras.

1 - Revista Elle pocket, octubre (marox): Por 1,95 merecía hacerse con ella, puesto que traía un pack de dos esmaltes mini de OPI. El mío venía con cajita, con los nombres de cada esmalte. He visto por Internet que en otros sitios los esmaltes venían únicamente en una bandejita interior de plástico, sin nombres ni nada.
No descarto hacerme con algún ejemplar más, si es que quedan.

2 - Revista Glamour pocket, octubre (marox): Un poquito más cara que la anterior, por 2,50€ teníamos la revista Glamour. La versión grande traía un champú de Yves Rocher, creo recordar. A mí me gustó más el regalo de la versión pequeña, con la minimanteca de The Body Shop. Como véis, yo cogí la de mango, aunque a los kioskos locales llegó también la de Berry BonBon que ya vino en un número anterior.




3 - Perfilador ojos retráctil marrón de Essence, tono #02 Hot Chocolate (marox): Se trata de una reposición, ya que gasté el que estaba usando. Da satisfacción poder terminar productos de maquillaje, ¿verdad?
Lo compré en un supermercado Alimerka, que tiene stand de Essence.

4 - Paleta 'Comfort Zone' de Wet n Wild: Hablando de supermercados, he descubierto que en LUPA tienen stand de Wet'nWild. Para mi sorpresa, les quedaba aún una de estas paletas así que no lo dudé. Los muebles de Wet'nWild de Arenal, suelen estar arrasados.
Aunque tengo la versión antigua de esta paleta, está ya algo maltrecha, así que viene bien tener un repuesto. Me costó 5,99€.

Here I am to show you my latest purchases so far.

1 - Elle pocket, October issue (marox): At only €1.95, it was a nice deal, as this month's freebie was a 2-count OPI nail polish minis. Mine came in a box, with the names clearly visible. I've seen online that other people got theirs only with the plastic inner tray without any names to identify the items.
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on another copy, if there are any left.

2 - Glamour pocket, October issue (marox):  A tad more expensive than the previous one. The regular version came with an Yves Rocher shampoo, if memory serves. I liked the freebie the smaller issue had better. 3 different travel-sized TBS body butters, apparently. I grabbed the mango one, with local newsagents also getting the Berry BonBon that I had from an earlier issue.


3 - Automatic Eye Pencil from Essence, shade #02 Hot Chocolate (marox): A replacement for the exact same thing that I'd been using. You feel a sense of accomplishment when you use a makeup product up, don't you? I got this from a local supermarket, Alimerka, as it has an Essence counter.




4 - Wet'nWild 'Comfort Zone' palette (marox): On the subject of supermarkets, I recently discovered that a local one, LUPA, had a Wet'nWild counter. To my surprise, they still had one of these palettes, so I grabbed it straightaway. Other counters from the brand elsewhere (Arenal drugstores, for one) are usually depleted.
I still have the old version of this palette, but it's taken a few beatings, so it makes sense to have a back-up.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (IV).

Aquí venimos para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Revista Glamour agosto: 3,95€ Manteca 200 ml de TBS. Tanto Marian como yo hemos caído esta vez, ya que merecía la pena. El precio normal de las mantecas de tamaño estándar es de 16€, así que por unos 4€ merecía mucho la pena. En rebajas, lo más baratas que las hemos conseguido últimamente ha sido por 8€.
Yo primeramente cogí la de té verde Fuji y Marian, cómo no, la de coco. Y unos días antes de que saliera el siguiente número, como véis me hice con otra más, con la de karité.

2 - Quitaesmalte sin acetona de Primaprix (marox): 1.95€

3 - Barra de labios Bourjois (marox): También en Primaprix, un gran hallazgo al módico precio de 2,45€.

4 - Revista Cosmopolitan mini de septiembre (marox): 1,25€ con regalo de tote bag de Nyx

5 - Revista Glamour septiembre (marox): Por 3,50€, a nuestra ciudad llegó con el Gimme Brow de Benefit. La minitalla trae 1 gr (la minitalla de venta en Sephora trae 1.5 gr y cuesta 14,95€, así que merecía la pena. A mi madre le gusta, por lo que es mejor hacerse con él a través de promociones como ésta y no tener que comprarlo en tienda.

6 - Maquinilla Venus (marox): 4,55€ en Carrefour. He extraviado la que estaba utilizando, así que me he tenido que hacer con una nueva.

Here we are to show you our latest purchases.

1 - August issue, Glamour magazine: €3.95, including this month's freebie of a 200ml body butter from TBS. Both Marian and myself gave in to it, since it was worth it. The RRP for these body butters in this size starts at €16 , so getting them for only 4 was definitely a steal. During the sales you cheapest you can get your hands on these is for €8.
I got myself the Fuji green tea one first and Marian obviously reached for the coconut scent. I got my greedy hands on the shea one too a few days before the next issue came out.

2 - Acetone-free nail polish remover from Primaprix (marox): €1.95

3 - Bourjois lipstick (marox): Also from Primaprix, a great discovery at only €2.45.

4 -  September issue, Cosmo mini (marox): €1.25 with a NYX tote bag as a freebie.

5 - September issue, Glamour magazine (marox): This month's freebie was a trial size of Benefit's Gimme Brow. The travel-size tube at Sephora contains 1.5gr and costs €14.95, while this sample contains 1gr and the magazine cost €3.50. Not a bad deal at all, don't you think.
Our mum really likes it and we'd rather get it cheap through a magazine than paying full price for it at Sephora.

6 - Gillete Venus razor (marox): Got it for 4.55 EUR at Carrefour. I've misplaced the one I was using, so I just had to get a new one.

Regalos revistas Diciembre 2018 / December 2018 Magazine freebies

Hola, chicas:

Este mes que parecía bastante previsible en cuanto a regalos de revistas (agendas y más agendas y suplementos por doquier) ha resultado ser de lo mejorcito que ha habido últimamente.

Abrí el post antes de hacerme con las revistas. Éstas han sido las elegidas.


1 - Divinity: Trae diferentes productos labiales de *Nyx* y un libro de suspense. En el primer quiosco que entré tenían un tono muy poco ponible y preferí esperar. En el tercer quiosco que visité conseguí hacerme con el que quería, uno ponible de la linea Lingerie en el tono 'Lipli 07 - Satin Ribbon'. La revista cuesta 3,95€ y los labiales los tenéis en la web de Nyx a 7,90€.
No lo he probado aún porque he estado acatarrada y no tenía los labios muy allá. Eso sí, la prueba en el brazo tardó bastante en irse.

2 - Glamour Pocket: Por 3€, podéis haceros con una minimanteca de The Body Shop, disponible en tres variedades distintas: mango, Berry Bon Bon y vainilla con nubes. Las dos últimas son de edición limitada. Trae también una ampolla facial de Martiderm.
El tercer sitio en el que miré sí que las tenía, una de mango y el resto de frutos rojos, que como véis es la que cogí.
Las mantecas pequeñas de TBS tienen un precio de 6€ en tienda.



 

Y he aquí las dos revistas y los respectivos regalos que se me han escapado. Mi hermana irá en unos días a Zamora, pero no creo que allí haya más suerte. 

- Cosmopolitan: Trae productos de Nyx. Esperaba hacerme con algún iluminador en polvo, pero aquí no hay llegado los regalos buenos. Lo más que he visto ha sido una paleta de iluminadores. Valen 10,50€ y tienen muy buenas opiniones.
A ver si papá Noel me trae algo parecido como regalo de consolación, como alguno de los iluminadores en polvo de WetnWild.

 - InStyle: Espuma de EL de Rituals. En muchos kioskos ha llegado una crema corporal tamaño viaje que ya ha salido otras veces, de color rojo. Como lo único que merecía la pena coger por el precio de la revista - 4,95€ - era la espuma y ha sido imposible hacerme con ella, la he dejado pasar. Me da mucha rabia que los regalos buenos sólo lleguen a ciertas ciudades. Recuerdo cierta ocasión en que una revista trajo el aceite de Nuxe en tamaño venta en muy pocas ciudades y NADA en otras. Me parece una tomadura de pelo.
Suele salir más a cuenta cuando la trae alguna revista más barata, la verdad.
En la web de Rituals tenéis la espuma The Ritual of Yalda a 8,50€. Contiene granada y sandía.

It seemed at first that the month of December was going to be downright boring when it came to magazine freebies in Spain (with planners and Christmas specials all over the place), but it turned out to be one of the best ones lately.

I actually opened the post before I could get my hands on the magazines that looked the most promising. Here are my picks.


1 - Divinity: The freebies are different *Nyx* lip products, as well as a novel, a thriller by Frederick Forsyth. The first newsagent's I checked didn't have a wearable shade and I decided to try others. I'm glad I did because I found the one I wanted from their Lingerie range, shade 'Lipli 07 - Satin Ribbon'.
Magazine was €3.95 and these lippies retail at €7.90 on the Spanish Nyx website.
I haven't tested this on my lips just yet, as I had a cold recently and my lips were all dry and chapped. However, the swatch you see on my inner lower arm took some time to vanish. 

2 -  Glamour Pocket: For €3 you can grab a TBS travel-sized body butter. They are available in three different varieties: Mango, Berry Bon Bon and Vanilla Marshmallow. The third place I checked out had one in mango and the others were all Berry, which is the one I grabbed.
The TBS mini body butters retail at €6, so it's not a bad deal at all.

And here are the ones that got away. My sister will be going to our hometown in a few days, but I doubt she'll have better luck getting those -with the freebies I wanted- there either. 

- Cosmopolitan: It's got different Nyx products. I was hoping I could get my hands on one of the two powder highlighters. They retail at €10,50 and have great online reviews. Since the magazine is only €1.50 it is a great deal indeed. Unfortunately the only halfway decent freebie I found was the concealer palette. 
Maybe Santa will surprise me with a similar thing as consolation, like one of the WetnWild powder highlighters.

-  InStyle: Rituals LE shower foam. Others come with a travel sized body cream that has been offered as a freebie several times already. It comes in a red tube.
The magazine sells for €4.95. It is usually more worth your while when it comes with one of the cheaper magazines, to be honest.
Since the only freebie that was worth getting for what you have to pay for the magazine itself was the shower foam, I refused to get the other item.  I'm really pissed off when good freebies are only sent to certain cities. There was one time when a magazine had a full sized Nuxe oil in a few cities and NOTHING elsewhere. I don't like being messed around or taken for a fool.
The Ritual of Yalda shower foam retails at €8.50 on their website. It contains pomegranate and watermelon extracts.
