Mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad 2021. - My Christmas gifts and gifts-to-self 2021.

Hola, chicas: Un año más, os enseño en esta entrada los que han sido mis regalos de Navidad. 1- Dashcam para el coche.   Ha sido regalo de mis padres. La ha pedido Marox a AliExpress. Le hemos regalado a mi padre una para su coche y ellos me han regalado otra a mí. Contacté con un taller para que me la instalen y pude estrenarla durante las vacaciones de Navidad. Eso sí, he tenido problemas con el consumo de energía en el modo aparcamiento -me quedé sin batería en el coche, por dos veces-. Ya está solucionado, con un interruptor que desconecta la corriente siempre que quiera. La cámara frontal, que va instalada en el espejo retrovisor, graba en 2,5K, y la cámara trasera en 1080p. Para que grabe, hace falta lo que ha sido el segundo regalo. 2- Tarjeta de memoria micro SD. Ha sido toda una odisea que llegara. A Marox le ha costado tres intentos. Tiene capacidad de 128GB (lo máximo que admite la dashcam). Este tipo de tarjeta es válida para drones y cámaras de acción que graban en 4K. 3- Fire TV stick, de Amazon. Ha sido regalo de Marox, que ha acertado de pleno, como siempre. Sólo hice foto de la caja, porque me pudo el ansia viva, y ya la he estrenado. La tengo instalada en el televisor que tengo en mi habitación, donde ahora puedo ver los videos de Youtube desde la comodidad de mi cama, jeje.   4- Mascarilla facial de Mi Rebotica. Es una mascarilla purificante, con arcilla blanca y verde. Todavía no la he probado. Vino con una revista de las que suele comprar y ella ya tenía varias en uso. 5- Cepillo eléctrico de limpieza facial. Lo compró mi madre en Wolala, una tienda de Zamora que tiene un poco de todo, pero con un diseño monísimo. Funciona con batería recargable.     6- DVD de Ace of Base. Incluye varios videoclips de algunos de sus temas a lo largo de su trayectoria. Mi autorregalo han sido... bolillos. No sé si lo sabéis, pero desde no mucho tiempo a esta parte, hago encaje de bolillos. Empecé a ir a clase meses antes de que empezara la pandemia, y después, gracias a YouTube (esa gran fuente de conocimiento) he seguido aprendiendo por mi cuenta.   El año pasado le hice un fular a mi madre, y le voy a hacer uno a Marox, en los colores que ella ha elegido. El que hice para mi madre me llevó casi un año, así que le he dicho a Marox que tenga paciencia. Los he comprado a dos vendedores distintos en Wallapop. Y esto ha sido todo. Perdonad por la tardanza. A ver si este año consigo ser más constante con el blog. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls, Like every year, in this post I'm showing you my Christmas gifts. 1- Mirror-mounted dashcam: It was my parents' present. Marox ordered it from Aliexpress. We'd bought our father one for his car and they gave me another one.  I contacted a local garage specialized in electronics, who installed it for me. Hopefully they were able to do so during the Christmas holidays so I could test it. It works great, though I did have issues with energy consumption, as the camera drained my car's battery twice when in parking mode. It has now been fixed, with the shop fitting a switch to power off the unit when I need to. The front camera, which is mounted on the rearview mirror records videos in 2.5K quality, whereas the rear camera makes them in 1080p.  In order for the device to record, it needs a good-quality micro SD card, which was the second gift they gave me.  2 - Micro SD card: Getting this to me was quite the nightmare. Mar had to order from different stores three times.     The storage capacity is 128GB (the maximum admitted by the dashcam). These types of memory cards are suitable for use in drones and action cameras with 4K recording capabilities. 3 - Fire TV stick, from Amazon. This was a present from Marox, which nailed her presents, as always. I was only able to take a picture of the box, because I couldn't wait to test it.  It is now installed in the TV I have in my bedroom, where I can now watch Youtube in bed, lol.   4- Face mask from 'Mi Rebotica' (a Spanish brand).   It's a purifying mask, made from white and green clay. It was a magazine freebie. She already has several face masks. I haven't tried it yet.     5- Electric brush for face cleaning.   My mother bought it at Wolala, a store in Zamora that has a little bit everything, with a cool design.   It works with rechargeable batteries.    6- Ace of Base DVD.   It contains some videoclips of  some of the songs along their career.       My gift to myself were... bobbins.  You may not know this, but I've caught the lace-making bug quite bad. I started taking lessons before lockdown and after that, I was able to continue learning thanks to good old Youtube. Last year I made my mum a scarf and now I'll be making one for my sister, using the colours of her choice.   The one I made for my mum took me almost a year to make, so I've told Marox to be patient.   I bought these bobbins second-hand, from two different sellers on Wallapop. Well, this is all for now. Sorry for the delay. This year I hope to be more consistent with my blog postings. See you around.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad - My Xmas Gifts and Gifts-to-self (2021)

Hola, chicas: En esta entrada os enseño los que han sido mis regalos y autorregalos de las pasadas Navidades.   1 - Por parte de mis padres, recibí este reloj, puesto que el mío llevaba tiempo haciendo cosas raras. Es de la marca *Mondaine*, que fabrica los relojes de las estaciones de tren de Suiza. Marian tiene uno de la misma marca que tendrá como 15 años y le ha salido muy bien, así que espero que a mí me dé buen resultado también.  Aunque los he visto por Internet, hemos preferido comprarlo en nuestra relojería de confianza. Hay que apoyar un poco también al comercio local, que llevan un par de años muy complicados con la pandemia, subidas de impuestos y suministros...       2 - Cepillo de limpieza facial de silicona: Es uno de esos dispositivos tipo Foreo. Lo compramos en una tienda local, una franquicia, Wolala. Estos productos nos producían cierta curiosidad, pero no tanta como para pagar por un Foreo, sinceramente. El mío lo he usado con productos limpiadores y también con cremas faciales. Me gusta porque es pequeño. Viene con una bolsita de tela y el cable cargador, en un estuche de plástico rígido que de momento, estoy conservando.   Marian me ha regalado varias cositas también, algunas tiempo antes de Navidad.    1-  Portarretratos con motivos de gatos: Lo compró en Wallapop y como véis, he puesto una foto de Pol. No me permiten tener mascotas en el piso donde estoy viviendo este año por trabajo, así que al menos, recuerdo las siestas que se echa en mi regazo cuando estoy con él.   2 - Libro de literatura inglesa: También lo adquirió en Wallapop. No lo he empezado aún. Me temo que tengo la lectura bastante abandonada.  3 - Películas en DVD: Las compró en Wallapop. Emma la he visto varias veces -me gusta Jane Austen- pero hace un montón de tiempo. La tenía grabada en VHS de la tele... para que os hagáis una idea y me apetecía tenerla para verla cuando quiera. Está en Bluray, pero el transfer es bastante malo y no tiene subtítulos en inglés, así que quería esta edición en concreto. Lo mismo con 'Las normas de la casa de la sidra', mal transfer en Bluray, sin extras ni subtítulos en V.O, así que prefiero el DVD. De momento, he visto 'Emma' y la verdad es que para ser DVD, se ve muy bien. 4 - Cds de música: 'Adrenalize' de Def Leppard y 'Get a Grip' de Aerosmith. Porque no sólo me gusta Roxette, jeje.  También de Wallapop. Los tenía en mi colección, pero no sé cómo se extraviaron hace años, así que me los regaló.  Y ahora le toca al turno a los autorregalos, que ya sabéis que no me privo. 1 - Vinilos de Roxette y Per Gessle: El primero es la edición limitada de efecto mármol de la reedición de su disco más vendido, 'Joyride', editado originalmente en 1991. El segundo es una reedición, por el décimo aniversario -creo- de la publicación de su cuarto disco en solitario -de los mejores que ha sacado-, publicado en 2003, con material que tenía escrito para lo que habría sido el siguiente disco de Roxette, proyecto que quedó detenido por la enfermedad de Marie el año anterior. Tuve muchos problemas con el pedido. Para empezar, quise comprarlos en otra tienda, pero han cambiado las condiciones de envío al extranjero y al menos de momento, no envían a España.  La tienda a la que finalmente hice el pedido, *Bengans*, ha tardado una barbaridad en enviarlo. Hice el pedido a principios de diciembre y me llegó el día 20. No he podido escuchar aún más que el primero, porque nos íbamos de vacaciones unos días. Posteriormente me he cogido la edición de 3cds del Joyride. Decidí esperar un tiempo puesto que las primeras han venido mal, con 2 cds repetidos o que no se oyen... madre mía.   2 -Singles de Roxette: Los compré por *Discogs*, los de 7" a un vendedor de Suecia y el de 12" a un vendedor de Francia, que es donde se editó con el remix Dancehall version, que es una pasada.   Tuve un pequeño problema con este último: el embalaje llegó rajado de lado a lado, hasta el punto que la portada quedó marcada. El vendedor accedió a devolverme los gastos de envío como compensación.      Eso ha sido todo, espero que os haya gustado. ¿Se han portado bien Papá Noel y los Reyes? Seguro que sí. Y si no, pues que no nos falte la salud, que es lo más importante.

Hi girls, In this post I'm showing you my Christmas gifts and gifts-to-self in 2021.   1 - Mondaine wristwatch, from my parents. Mine had been acting up for some time. *Mondaine* is the manufacturer of clocks on train stations in Switzerland. Marian has had one of these for about 15 years and it is still going strong, so I hope mine turns out to be as good.  Although these are also sold online, we bought this from a local trusted jewellery. Small businesses need our help, especially considering how tough these couple of years have been for them because of the pandemic, rise in taxes as well as energy bills, etc.   2 - Silicone facial cleaning brush: We bought this at a local shop, *Wolala*.  These brushes had caught our eye, but not to the point of being eager to pay for the original, Foreo. I've used mine with cleansing products as well as creams. I like the fact that it is compact. It comes with a travel pouch and the charging cable in a hard plastic case that I'm keeping for the time being.   Marian gave me a few things as well, some well before Christmas.   1- Cat-themed photo frame: She bought this from the second-hand app Wallapop. As you see, I've put a picture of Pol. I'm not allowed to have pets in the flat I'm living in for work this year, so at least I can remember the naps he takes on my lap when I'm with him.     2 - English literature book: Also from Wallapop. I haven't started it yet. I'm afraid it's been a while since I last opened a book for reading. 3- DVD films: She bought them on Wallapop as well. I've seen this version of Emma lots of times, but ages ago. I used to have this on VHS, recorded from TV. Go figure. I wanted to own this, so I could watch it any time I want to. It's available on Bluray, but the transfer is terrible and has no English subtitles, so it had to be this edition in particular. Same thing with 'The Cider House Rules': poor transfer on the Spanish BD, no extras or English subtitles, so I'd rather get the DVD. So far, we've watcched 'Emma' and the picture quality is great for a DVD. 4 - Music CDs: Def Leppard's 'Adrenalize' and Aerosmith's 'Get a Grip'. Because I like other bands apart from Roxette, lol. Also purchased second-hand off Wallapop. I used to own these but have somehow lost them, so she got them for me. And now it's time for my gifts-to-self. You know that I like to treat myself.     1 - Per Gessle and Roxette vinyls: The first one is the limited edition of the 30th anniversary of their best selling album, Joyride, that comes in a marbled effect. The record originally came out in 1991. The second is the re-release on vinyl, of Per's fourth solo album on its 10th anniversary, I believe. It's one of his best albums, originally released in 2003. The songs he wrote for this album had been intended for Roxette's next work, a project that had to be postponed due to Marie's cancer diagnosis the year before. I've had lots of issues with this order. To start with, I had planned on placing my order at a different store. However, they'd changed to shipping conditions and at least for now, they're not shipping to Spain. The store I finally ordered these from, *Bengans*, has taken a really long time to ship. I placed my order early in December and got it on the 20th. I didn't even have time to listen to them then, since we were going away on holiday for a few days. I was able to listen to Joyride after the holidays. I eventually ordered the 3CD edition from Joyride, though I decided to wait until they fixed some issues: some people have got 2 identical cds or blank ones... Oh, Lord.       2 - Roxette singles: I ordered them from *Discogs.* The smaller, 7" ones from a seller in Sweden and the 12" one from one in France, which is where the Dancehall version featured in this was exclusively released. It's an awesome remix.  There was a problem with this item though. The packaging was slashed from side to side, to the point that the cover got marked. The seller agreed to refund me the shipping costs as compensation. Well, that was everything for now. I hope you liked what I got. Were Santa and the Three Wise Men good to you? I bet they were and if not, I hope they brought you health for this new year, which is what really matters after all.

Hola, chicas:   Antes de nada, queremos desearos unas muy Felices Fiestas.  Molly (y Pol también) se han vestido para la ocasión.     A ver si el próximo año viene lleno de cosas buenas, sobre todo de salud. Antes de terminar, os propongo algo diferente. Un curso, en formato juego, sobre cómo ventilar las estancias para unas cenas navideñas lo más seguras posible. Aquí os dejo el enlace. Hola, chicas:   Como viene siendo habitual por estas fechas, os enseñamos nuestros regalos de Navidad. Como este año ha sido tan raro y no sabíamos si se podría viajar para esas fechas, nos los hemos mandado por correo, en lugar de dárnoslos en persona.   Como ya os ha dicho Marox, nuestros padres nos han dado dinero (y bastante), para que nos compremos lo que queramos.   A continuación, os enseño los regalos que me ha hecho Marox.   1- Libro "101 Consejos de Fotografía Digital. Los secretos de los mejores fotógrafos del mundo". Ya sabéis que Marox tiene un olfato especial para los regalos, y acierta siempre. Y esta ocasión no ha sido diferente. Ya he empezado a leerlo, y a pesar de tener la letra pequeñita, se lee muy bien. Quizá es pasión de fotógrafa aficionada. No es un libro completamente teórico, sino que pone muchos ejemplos que ocurren en la vida, cosa que me gusta. Eso lo hace mucho más ameno de leer.     2- Android Box Pendoo X11 Pro. Este regalo ha sido una sorpresa. La verdad es que no me lo esperaba. Todavía tengo que salsear con alguna aplicación para ver TV en streaming.      Y ahora vamos con mis autorregalos. 3- Samsung Galaxy Tab A. Llevaba ya unos cinco o seis años con la otra (también Samsung), y aunque todavía funciona, iba ya un poco lenta. Así que antes de que se estropeara del todo, me compré ésta. La pantalla es de 8", igual que la otra. Marox me dio el chivatazo de una superoferta en Amazon, así que no la dejé escapar. Me costó 120€.     4- Funda para la tablet. En esta ocasión, pedí no solo la funda, sino también el protector de cristal templado. Como sabéis, nos gusta tener nuestros dispositivos bien protegidos. Estos han sido mis regalos de esta Navidad. Yo creo que no han estado nada mal. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls,   As usual at this time of year, we're showing you our Christmas gifts. As this year has been so weird and we didn't know if we could travel during those days to see the family, we've sent the gifts instead of giving them to each other.   As Marox pointed out already, our parents gave us money (a lot, actually), so we could get whatever we wanted ourselves.   Let me start we the gifts I got from Marox.   1- '101 Digital Photography Tips. The secrets of the world's best photographers.' You know that Marox has an eye for presents and she always nails them. This was no exception. I started reading it, and despite the small print, it is a good read. Though I'm a keen photographer, you know. It isn't all about theory, as it contains practical advice based on real-life experience, which I love. It makes it more entertaining to read. 2 - Pendoo X11 Pro Android Box. This gift has been a surprise. I didn't expect it. I still have to try some apps to watch TV in streaming.   Now let's take a look to my gifts to self. 3- Samsung Galaxy Tab A. I've had the old one (also Samsung) for five or six years, and though it still works, it's a bit 'lazy' launching apps. So I decided to buy a new one before it broke down. The screen size is 8", like the old one. Marox told me about a mega offer at Amazon, so I couldn't help buying it. I paid €120 for it.   4- A protective case for the tablet. This time I ordered both the case and the tempered glass protector. As you know, we like having all our devices well protected.     Well, these have been my Christmas gifts. I think they're really good.  See you around.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad - My Christmas gifts and gifts-to-self.

Marox ya os enseñó sus regalos, y ahora me toca a mí.

Empecemos por los autorregalos.

1- Teléfono móvil Xiaomi Mi A3.
Llevaba un tiempo pensando en cambiar de móvil, porque el anterior empezaba a hacer cosas muy raras, y ya no era fiable.
Así que me he regalado éste, en color gris, con 128 GB de memoria, 3 cámaras traseras y una frontal.
De momento estoy encantada con él. Espero que me dure mucho.
Lo compré en Amazon.

2- Funda para Xiaomi Mi A3.
Me gusta llevar el móvil protegido.
Aunque en la caja del móvil venía una funda de silicona, preferí comprar esta funda.
No me gustan las de tipo libreta, que suelen tener unos diseños preciosos.
Esta es bastante más sobria, pero parece resistente.

Y ahora os enseño los regalos.

3- Perfume Eternity Moment, de Calvin Klein.
Marox sabe que me gustan mucho las fragancias de Calvin Klein, así que jugaba sobre seguro.
Todavía no lo he estrenado. Sólo lo probé para ver si me gustaba, y me encanta.
Lo compró en Perfumes Club y quedó muy satisfecha con la experiencia.



4- Libro "Barefoot Pilgrimage" de Andrea Corr.
Este regalo fue una sorpresa mayúscula, porque ni siquiera sabía de la existencia de este libro. Parece ser que se ha publicado hace muy poquito.
La idea de escribirlo surgió tras la muerte de Gerry Corr, el padre de The Corrs.
Todavía no he empezado a leerlo, pero seguro que me gustará.
El día que me lo regaló le eché un vistazo, y hablaba del concierto en Kew Gardens. No pude por menos de pensar: "Ahí estuvimos nosotras".

Esto ha sido todo.
Uno de mis deseos para este 2020 es ser más activa en el blog, y publicar más a menudo.
A ver si lo consigo.

Marox already showed you her gifts, so now it's my turn.

Let's start with my gifts-to-self.

1- Xiaomi Mi A3 smartphone.
I was thinking of replacing my smartphone for a while, because the old one was acting funny and wasn't reliable anymore.
So I gave this one to myself in grey, with 128 GB ROM, 3 rear cameras plus a front one.
I'm so happy with it so far, and I hope to use it for a long time.
I ordered it from Amazon.

2- Flip case for Xiaomi Mi A3.
I like protecting my mobile.
Even though a silicone case was included in the package, I decided to get this one.
I don't like those that look like a notebook (although they do come in beautiful designs).
This one is more discreet, but it seems sturdy enough.

Now let's go on with the gifts.

3- Eternity Moment perfume, from Calvin Klein.
Marox knows how much I like Calvin Klein fragrances, so she knew she was playing it safe.
I haven't used it yet. I just tried it to check if I liked it, and yes, I like it very much.
She ordered this from Perfumes Club and was really pleased with the shopping experience there.

4- 'Barefoot Pilgrimage' book, from Andrea Corr.
This gift was such a surprise for me, because I didn't even know it existed. As a matter of fact it is a very recent release.
The idea of writing this book came after Gerry Corr's death (The Corrs' father).
I haven't started to read it, but I'm sure I will like it.
I had a quick look the day I got it, and I could read something about Kew Gardens concert. I remember myself thinking: 'We were there'.



Well, this is all for now.
One of my wishes for this 2020 is to be more active on the blog, and upload posts more often.
Let's see if I can stick to that resolution.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad - My Christmas gifts and gifts-to-self.

En primer lugar, Feliz Año a todas.
En esta entrada os voy a enseñar mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad.

1 -Esponjita limpiadora de AliExpress:
Marox compró dos de éstas, para que yo también la pruebe.



2- Bolso de Vendula.
Fue un regalo de mis padres..., que lamentablemente han tenido que devolver, porque el cierre de mosquetón para colgar el bolso en bandolera no funciona bien.
Es una pena, porque es una preciosidad.
Tiene aplicaciones cosidas y bordados, y es totalmente vegano.

3- Mascarillas de tisú de cosmética coreana y mascarilla para pies.
De todas las que veis, he estrenado ya la de esencia de arroz, y por alguna extraña razón me han salido granos.
Es como si el acné juvenil hubiera vuelto. ¡Horror!





4- Perfume "Lovely" Sarah Jessica Parker.
Marox siempre acierta con los perfumes. Eso que para comprarlos se guía de reseñas en internet. A mí me daría un poco de miedo.
Huele fenomenal. Lo usaré cuando gaste el que estoy usando ahora, que también me regaló ella.

5- Funda de cojín "Leica" de AliExpress.
Otro acierto hecho regalo. Como sabe que me encanta la fotografía, pensó que sería una buena idea. Ya le he puesto el relleno y está decorando mi sofá.



6- Fular.
Como tiene el fondo blanco, es muy combinable, así que seguro que lo usaré mucho. Lo estrenaré cuando no haga tanto frío.

7- Gel de ducha herbal de Iceveda.
Lo compró en Primaprix.
Aún no lo he estrenado.



Ahora vamos con los autorregalos. Han sido 3 cosillas de nada.

1- Calcetines con dibujo de gato.
Con el dibujo y las orejitas. Me parecen una monada. Todavía no los he estrenado.
Los compré en AliExpress.

2- Salvabolsillos de enfermera.
Lo compré en "Enfermera en Apuros", que tiene un montón de artículos de esta temática. Ya lo he estrenado. Resulta muy útil para que no se caigan los bolis y para pasarlos de un uniforme a otro. Además, si se me vuelve a explotar un boli, el uniforme no se echará a perder. Me costó 6€.

3- Pinza para tarjeta identificativa.
También con temática enfermera.
Lo compré en AliExpress.
En la foto podéis ver todos los modelos disponibles. Yo elegí el primero de la segunda fila. Me costó 1,21€ (gastos de envío incluidos).

First of all, let me wish you all a happy new year. In today's blog I'd like to show you the presents I got from others and those that I bought myself.

1 -  Cleansing puff from Aliexpress: Marox got two of these so I could try that too.

2 - Handbag: It was a present from our parents... that we had unfortunately to return. The carabiner hook in the shoulder strap came loose. It was a real pity because really pretty. It had sew-on applications and embroidered parts, and it was fully vegan too.



3 - Assorted Korean Sheet masks and foot mask: From the ones you see, I used the rice essence one and for some reason it broke me out.
It was like my teenage acne was making a comeback. Yikes!




4 - SJP Eau de Parfum: Marox always nails it when she gives me a perfume. What's even  harder is that she makes her decision based on online reviews. I would be scared of failing, honestly. It does smell lovely and will use it once I finish the one I'm currently wearing, which was another gift I got from her.



5 - Camera print cushion cover from Aliexpress: Another hit. She knows how much I enjoy photography and thought it would be a cool gift. I have put some filling and it's already sprucing up my couch.

6 - Scarf: It's very wearable, thanks to the white background, so I'll be using that a lot. I'll wait until the weather's warmer to wear this.



7 - Iceveda herbal shower gel: She got this from a local discount supermarket, Primaprix. Haven't used it yet.

Now, I'm showing you my gifts-to-self.
Just a few things.

1- Cat print socks.
Not only they have the ears, but also the print.
They are super cute, don't you think?
I haven't used them yet.
I bought them from AliExpress.

2- Nurse pocket-saver.
I bought it at 'Enfermera en apuros' (Nurse in trouble) online store, which sells a huge amount of nurse-related stuff.
I have already used it. I find it very useful to prevent your pens from falling down, and mainly, when you change uniforms.
Besides, if I ever have another 'pen burst', my uniform won't get ruined. I paid €6 for it.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad - My Christmas gifts and gifts to self.

Ha llegado ese momento del año en el que compartimos virtualmente los regalos que hemos recibido en estas fechas navideñas.

Comienzo con los regalos que recibí de Marian.

1 - Libro de arteterapia de Isasaweis:  La famosa youtuber española Isasaweis se ha asociado con una ilustradora para crear este libro para colorear basado en fotografías tomadas por ella.
En las últimas hojas, incluye consejos útiles sobre cómo jugar con los colores, distintas técnicas, etc., que resulta muy útil.
Ya lo estrené, aprovechando las vacaciones de Navidad.

2 - Paños desmaquillantes: Los compró en Aliexpress. Se utilizan mojándolos en agua caliente y se suponen que retiran el maquillaje por sí solos. La idea es no tener que usar discos desmaquillantes.
Llevo probando uno de ellos y no está mal. Lo he usado al principio con agua caliente, pero luego en lugar de los discos desmaquillantes para los ojos y también para la cara con el bálsamo desmaquillante de Heimish. Van bien.

3 - Calcetines divertidos: También de Aliexpress. Por lo visto, una compañera de trabajo suya los tenía también y le hicieron gracia.
Aunque son talla única, no siempre son todos del mismo tamaño. No sé si me durarán mucho, porque mis uñas sobresalen bastante y me suelo cargar los calcetines con relativa rapidez.



Autorregalos:

1 - Cds de Per Gessle, 'En vacker dag' y 'En vacker kväll':  Los compré en *CdON*, la tienda de discos sueca donde suelo comprar habitualmente. Aunque Amazon a veces los tiene, los suele vender al doble o triple de precio al tratarse de discos importados. Me costaron 18,95€ y 19.95€ respectivamente. El primero, como véis, viene firmado.
Me faltó recibir un DVD en directo de Gyllene Tider, el grupo sueco en el que comenzó su andadura musical el cantante de Roxette y que me temo que se ha perdido por el camino. Me han hecho un reembolso.

Las siguientes cosas más que autorregalos son casi todo reposiciones.

It's that time of the year! You know, when we virtually tell the world what we got for Christmas.

I'll start off with the stuff I got from my sister, Marian.

1 - Adult colouring book by Isasaweis: Isasaweis is a famous Spanish youtuber and she's teamed up with an illustrator to create this colouring book for adults. The drawings are based on photographs taken by this youtuber.  At the end of the book you'll find some colouring tips about combining colours, using different techniques, etc which is very handy.
I've already used it, as with the Christmas holidays I had some time to unwind.

2 - Make up Remover face cloths: She bought this off Aliexpress. These are used with hot water and are supposed to remove makeup on their own. The idea is to do without cotton pads altogether.
I've been using them for a couple weeks, first with warm water, then in lieu of cotton pads for my eyes and finally, on my face with the Heimish Cleansing Balm. So far, so good.



3 - Fun socks: Also from Aliexpress. Apparently, one of her workmates uses them too and she found them cute.
Although these are 'one size', there can be some size differences.
I don't know how long they'll last, as my big toenails protrude quite a bit, often ruining my socks fairly quickly.


Gifts to self:

1-  Per Gessle music Cds, 'En vacker dag' and live album 'En vacker kväll': I bought these off *CdON*, the Swedish online music store I usually get their stuff from. Amazon sometimes sells their solo stuff but it's usually two or three times pricier, as these are imported. I paid €18.95 and €19.95 respectively. The former, as you may have noticed is signed.
I was still awaiting another package from them, with a live DVD from Gyllene Tider, the Swedish band where Mr. Per Gessle from Roxette started his music career, but it was sadly lost in transit and I've been refunded for that.

As for the next stuff, it's mostly stuff I was running out of. 

2 - Skinfood 'Black Sugar Perfect Scrub Foam': I bought this off Ebay, which is where I stock up when it comes to skincare. I paid €8.71 to the seller *biz-inside*.

3 - Milani Eye Shadow Primer: I've hit 'pan' on my RivalDeLoop primer, the one I bought in Berlin a lifetime ago. In my case, that was the only jar I had.
This Milani primer was given an 'Emily Award' by famous youtuber *Emily Eddington*. I hesitated between this one and another one from Etude House, but Milani's comes in a rather hygienic, no nonsense little tube, unlike the Korean one. I have been using this for a short time. The texture is drier than the old one and although shadows stick better, I get creasing after 6 hours, just like with the one from RdL.
I got this from *seller* best-beauty-products for 8.50 USD including shipping.

4 - Be Delicious - Fresh Blossoms by DKNY:
I bought this, no surprise, at Notino *UK / US *, where I also ordered other fragrances for both Marian and our mum.
The thing is that ever since I started ordering stuff there, it's been hard to resist splurging on.
Every week, they have a selection of discounted fragrances and you always find something nice to try.
Right now, both the regular version of this fragrance and the CKOne bottle I got from my sister a while ago are on its last legs. And when they're done, this will replace them.

2 - Exfoliante coreano 'Black sugar Perfect Scrub Foam' de Skinfood. Lo compré por Ebay, donde suelo comprar estas cosas. Me costó 8.71€ al cambio y se lo compré al vendedor *biz-inside*.

3 - Prebase de sombras de Milani: Me queda ya muy poco de la prebase de sombras de RivaldeLoop que compré en nuestro viaje a Berlín -en mi caso sólo he gastado un tarrito-. Esta prebase se llevó uno de los 'Emily Awards' de la youtuber *Emily Eddington*. Dudé entre esta y una de Etude House, pero el formato tubo de la de Milani me pareció mucho más higiénico que el de la marca coreana. Llevo poco tiempo usándolo. Tiene una textura algo más seca que el otro. Las sombras aguantan bastante, aunque a las 6 horas ya se me marca el pliegue, como con la otra.
La compré por 8,50 dólares, con gastos de envío incluídos al *vendedor* best-beauty-products.

4 - Perfume 'Be Delicious - Fresh Blossoms':

Lo compré, cómo no, en *Notino*, donde compré también sendos perfumes para Marian y nuestra madre. La verdad es que desde que empecé a comprar en esta página, de vez en cuando me doy un caprichito. Todas las semanas, tienen una selección de perfumes en oferta y siempre se encuentra alguno interesante.
Estoy terminando la versión normal de este perfume, así como otro de CK One que me regaló Marian. Cuando los termine, ya tengo repuesto.

Como mis padres fueron bastante generosos, aproveché para comprarme unas cosillas.

1 - Ropa de deporte de Decathlon: Me ha costado encontrar un pantalón de deporte como *éste*, con forro polar por dentro. Es de la sección de Running. El que uso para yoga fue de Lidl y no he vuelto a ver uno así. También me cogí una camiseta y unos calcetines de yoga. Las dos primeras cosas, estaban rebajadas. Me costó todo poco menos de 23 euros.: 14,99 el pantalón, 2,99 la camiseta y 4,99 los calcetines.
Me ha gustado todo mucho y no descarto hacerme con algo más, aprovechando las rebajas.

And since our folks were quite generous, I bought myself a few things.

1 - Sporting equipment from Decathlon: It was a nightmare getting another warm tights, with fleece fabric inside like *this*. The one I like to wear to my yoga classes was from Lidl and they've never brought it back. These tights are from their Running gear range.
I also grabbed a Tee and some yoga socks. The first two things were discounted.
I paid a little under €23: the tights were 14.99, the tee was 2.99 and the socks were 4.99.
I love the stuff and am not ruling out getting some more, as it's sales season here in Spain.
