Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros "terminados" hasta el momento.

1 - Mascarillas Naturaleza y Vida:  Como véis, se trata de dos variedades diferentes.
Las teníamos en nuestra segunda residencia y quedaba ya muy poca cantidad. De momento, no repetiremos, ya que la verde, de la que tenemos otro bote que también está en las últimas, se nos queda corta.





2 -Manteca corporal Alba Botanica: Compré esta manteca hace ya un tiempo en Vitacost. Tenía un precio moderado. Como es habitual en esta tienda, los productos tienen una composición bastante más natural de lo que se suele encontrar en España.
Tiene un olor a frutos secos y como a caramelo muy agradable y que perdura en la piel. Me gusta aplicar siempre las mantecas sobre la piel mojada, así gasto menos cantidad y se extienden mejor.

3 - Gelatina para rizos 'Curling Custard' de Kinky Curly: Compré este producto hace ya bastante en Vitacost. Lo cierto es que no era nada barato, pero me apetecía probar un producto natural con buenas opiniones y este fue el escogido. Aunque deja el pelo bien, tampoco me ha parecido como para repetir, teniendo en cuenta que hay que pedirlo fuera.  Lo he usado a temporadas y lo que queda de producto se ha quedado reseco.

4 - Sombra en crema Metal Glam de Essence: La verdad es que de todas las sombras metal glam de tubo, ésta era la mejor con diferencia. Como véis ya está el tubo muy gastadito y ya cuesta que salga producto.

Es una pena que apenas se encuentren sombras con este formato. 

5 - Espuma baño Rituals, de la gama Ritual of Light: Como sabéis, suelo aprovechar las promociones de las revistas para hacerme con los productos de Rituals, y éste fue el caso en esta ocasión. Esta espuma tenía un olor a canela muy agradable, que perduraba algo en la piel.

6 - Crema corporal Rituals, Ritual of Ayurveda: Esta crema corporal, de la línea con rosa de la India y miel vino también de regalo con alguna revista. El olor no era nada empalagoso y también perdura algo en la piel.

7 - Mascarilla tissú con colágeno de Malie: Me vino con algún pedido de cosmética coreana hace ya una eternidad. Confesión: suelo "coleccionar" las muestras que vienen en los pedidos, es decir, que rara vez las uso y es algo que me he propuesto remediar.

8 - Manteca corporal de haba tonka y karité de Cien Nature:  Fue parte de una edición limitada. Curiosamente, varios de los productos han pasado luego al surtido permanente, pero no es el caso de este producto. Es un poco más pastosa que otras mantecas (TBS ó Deliplus, por ejemplo), pero no es una sensación desagradable. Simplemente, hay que masajearla un poco más para que penetre. Creo que costó unos 2€, así que no se le puede pedir la perfección, creo yo. El olor es como a frutos secos, suave.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties' so far.

1- Naturaleza y Vida Hair Masks: As you see, they are from two different ranges, the hair loss and Organic ones. We had these tubs in our second home and there was very little left of both. We won't repurchase for now, as we've noticed the green one was not as good to our hair as it used to be. Yes, we have another tub of this that is on its last legs too.

2 - Alba Botanica Body Butter: I bought this a while back off Vitacost. It was reasonably priced and as with pretty much anything you can get on this store, the ingredients are far better than the brands sold locally, at least in Spain.
It has a nutty, caramel scent to it that lingers on the skin. I like to apply all body butters on wet skin, as I use a smaller amount and they spread a lot easier.

 

3 - Kinky Curly's Curling Custard: I bought this long ago on Vitacost. I felt like splurging on a natural styling product that had good reviews to see what that was like and this is the one I went for. I leaves my hair looking good, but not to the point that would make me repurchase, considering you have to get this from abroad.  I've been using this on and off and the remaining product has now dried out.



4 - Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow: The truth is that from all the tube eyeshadows on this now discontinued range (or format) this one was by far the best. As you see, there was very little product left and you could barely get anything out.
It's a pity it's so damn hard to find eyeshadows in a tube.




5 - Rituals Foam Wash (black and gold bottle): As you know, I get all my Rituals products as magazine freebies and that was the case this time as well. This foam had a very captivating cinnamon scent that lingered on the skin a bit.

6 - Ritual of Ayurveda Body Cream: From their Indian Rose and Honey line, it was another magazine freebie. The scent was really nice and unobtrusive that lingers on the skin for a bit.

7 - Malie Collagen Sheet Mask: This came with some K-Beauty order a lifetime ago. Confession time: I 'collect' samples, meaning, I rarely use them and that's something I've vowed to change.

8 - Cien Nature Tonka bean and Shea body butter: It was part of a LE organic line. Strangely enough, other items in that limited edition are now permanently in stock, but that's not the case with this body butter. It is much thicker than others like TBS or the Spanish Deliplus, but it's not a deal breaker. All you have to do is massage it more into the skin until it soaks in. This was about €2, so I guess perfection in this price point would be too much to ask.
It has a pleasant, nutty scent.

Compras Vitacost y Buyincoins

Aquí vengo a enseñaros mis compras en estas dos tiendas.

1 - Compras en Vitacost:

- Desodorante de Queen Helene con extracto de menta: Tiene un precio en la web de 3,69 dólares. Es de los desodorantes naturales más económicos. No contiene sales de aluminio ni glicol de propileno. He tenido una especie de sarpullido (que resultó ser psoriasis) en las axilas y durante unos días estuve utilizando otro de otra marca. Temí que estuviera dando reacción o algo y me daba pena porque me gustan y tengo unos cuantos de reserva.
Pasado lo peor del brote, he vuelto a usarlos sin problema.

-  Loción para manos y cuerpo de Jäsön con aloe vera: La compré para mi madre. La otra se la dejó en Zamora. En la farmacia casi todo lo que le vendían tenía una composición bastante regulera. Tiene un precio de 6,69 dólares. Ésta no la ha estrenado aún, aunque sé que la otra le gustó.



- Champú con biotina y bambú de Nature's Gate: El Boo Bamboo que estoy usando ahora mismo estaba agotado, así que probaré éste a ver qué tal. Trae más cantidad y es más barato. Ya os contaré cuando lo use.
Ahora mismo lo tienen a 4,14 dólares, más barato aún de lo que me costó.

-  Aceite de argán de Acure Organics: Lo tenían a tan sólo 4,99 dólares, así que lo eché al carro. De momento lo he usado un par de veces, sólo y mezclado con otros productos en el rostro.
El envase venía como aceitoso, pero no parecía faltar producto. Lo ideal sería que viniera mejor precintado.

2 - Pedido a Buyincoins: Creo que hacía un par de años que no pedía nada a esta web china. Me alegra saber que devuelve cashback con Topcashback.
Pedí alguna cosa más, pero os enseño lo que creo que más os puede interesar.

- Brochas para ojos: Tenía alguna un poco viejita y pedí éstas. No están mal, aunque creo que de momento, me han gustado más las brochas de rostro de esta tienda que las de ojos. Son tres modelos diferentes de brochas, aunque la forma de dos de ellas es muy, muy similar.

Here I am to show you my latest purchases at these two online stores.

1 - Vitacost Haul:

- Mint Julep Queen Helene deodorant: Available for $3.69. It is one of the cheapest natural deodorants out there. It does not contain aluminium or propylene glycol.
A few weeks ago I had a rash in my armpits and am using another version from the same brand but switched to a different deodorant altogether. The rash turned out to be a new plaque of psoriasis, so this was not the culprit. I'm glad because these are nice and I still have a few backups.

-  Aloe Vera hand and body lotion from Jäsön: I bought this for our mum, cause the other one I got her is in our other home in Zamora. Most of the stuff she was offered at the chemist's had a rather poor ingredient list full of junk. This is very affordable at $6,69.
She hasn't used this bottle yet, although I know she likes it.



- Biotin and Bamboo Enriching shampoo from Nature's Gate:  The one I'm currently using from Boo Bamboo was sold out, so I ordered this instead. The bottle is bigger and is cheaper, so let's see how that goes.
Right now it is on sale for just $4.14, cheaper than what I paid when I ordered mine.

- Acure Organics Argan Oil: For just $4.99 I had to order this. So far, I've only used it a couple of times, on its own and blended into other products on my face.
The cardboard packaging was greasy after transit, but the jar seemed full. Ideally, this should come sealed to prevent leaking.

2- Buyincoins Haul: It'd been a couple of years since I last placed an order there. I'm glad to see it's cashback eligible with Topcashback.
I ordered a few more things not pictured, but I was hoping this would pique your interest more.

- Eye brushes: I have a few that show some wear and tear and ordered this. They're nice, although I'd say I've been more impressed with the face brushes that I've tried from them. These are three different eye brushes, although it would seem two of them are the same, as the bristles have the same shape.

Compras en Vitacost y IHerb- Vitacost and IHerb Haul.

Hace poco hemos hecho un pedido a Vitacost y IHerb, así que aquí os enseñamos lo que compramos.

1- Crema de peinado para pelo rizado de Desert Essence (Marian): 
Marox me dejó probarla y me encantó. Además, ya sabéis que el olor a coco me encanta (Marox simplemente lo tolera), así que me animé a pedir un bote para mí.
Me gusta mucho cómo me deja el pelo: suave, brillante y nada pegajoso.



2- Pasta de dientes Jasön.
De ésta hemos pedido una para cada una. Nos gustó mucho en su momento, así que repetimos con ella.

3- Cápsulas de própolis, de Vitacost.
De éstas, también hemos pedido un bote para cada una.
Viene muy bien para soportar el frío invierno de Burgos sin coger catarro cada dos por tres.



4- Extracto de semilla de pomelo (Marian).
Éste lo utilizaré para mis recetillas de cosmética casera. Se usa como conservante.

5- Champú de bambú (Marox). A la venta en Vitacost. Tenía buenas opiniones en la página, ya que ayuda a frenar la caída del cabello y es suave para el cuero cabelludo y el pelo. Hace una espuma muy agradable.
Da fuerza y brillo al cabello.

We ordered some stuff from Vitacost and IHerb a few weeks ago. So read on to see what we bought.

1 - Desert Essence Soft Curls Hair Creme (Marian): Marox let me use this and I loved it. Besides, you know how much I love coconut-scented products (unlike Marox who merely tolerates them), so I took the chance to order one for myself.
I like how my hair feels after using it: soft, shiny but without the sticky feeling.

2 - Jasön tootpaste: We ordered one for each. We enjoyed it in the past and decided to repurchase.



3 - Bee propolis capsules from Vitacost. Again, we ordered two bottles. It's good to have them to fight the cold weather, especially here in Burgos. Otherwise, you'll have a cold now and again.

4 - Grapefruit Seed Extract (Marian): I'll use this in my homemade cosmetics recipes. It is used as a preservative.



5 - Bamboo Shampoo (Marox):  Available from Vitacost. This strengthening shampoo had good reviews, as it helps fight hair loss and is gentle on the hair and scalp. It lathers nicely and hair feels stronger and shiny.

Mis regalos (y autorregalos) de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts (and gifts to self).

En esta entrada os enseño los que han sido mis regalos de cumpleaños, que fue hace casi un mes.

Empezaré primero con los regalos de mi hermana.

1- CD de Ace of Base "Hidden Gems".
Miedito le daba a Marox regalarme un CD de música después del patinazo que tuvo con el de Sharon Corr.
Pero no, esta vez ha acertado, porque no lo tenía.
Se trata de una selección de temas que estaban ya compuestos, pero no incluídos en ninguno de sus anteriores trabajos.
Por cierto, ¿os habéis dado cuenta de que a las dos nos gustan grupos suecos?




2- Vela de Yankee Candle "Soft Cotton".
Tiene un suave aroma a ropa recién lavada.
La verdad es que me gusta mucho este olor.

3- Perfume "Tommy Girl", de Tommy Hilfiger.
Esta fragancia goza de muy buenas opiniones en internet, así que se animó a comprarla para mí.
No la he estrenado todavía, porque estoy usando la de Nina Ricci "Premier Jour", que también me regaló ella.




4- Perfumador de viaje "Travalo".
He tenido de los de imitación, pero parecía que se vaciaran solos (tampoco los usaba demasiado).
Supongo que el original me dará mucho mejor resultado.
Todavía no lo he estrenado, pero pronto se vendrá para mi bolso.

Y ahora os enseño los autorregalos.

5- Arcilla bentonita "Aztec Secret".
La compré en Vitacost, y la usaré para hacerme mis mascarillas.




6- Estuche de tela para pinturas (36 huecos).
Lo compré en Aliexpress.
No sabía que había estuches de este tipo para las pinturas (pensaba que sólo los había para las brochas de maquillaje).
Me parece muy útil para guardar mis pinturas. Así las tengo ordenadas y se accede a ellas fácilmente.
Estos días tengo un poco abandonados los libros de colorear para adultos.

7- Mini trípode estilo Gorilla Pod.
También lo he comprado en Aliexpress.
Hay de varios tipos. Este es para cámara réflex. La base de las patas es antideslizante, y las patas están recubiertas de una especie de espuma.
Tiene un tamaño que lo hace perfecto para llevar de viaje. Lo puedo guardar en la mochila de la cámara.




8- Tocadiscos de diseño retro, de Inves.
Lo ví en la web de El Corte Inglés, y me acerqué hasta Hipercor, a ver si lo tenían.
Y sí, allí estaba. Parecía que me estaba esperando.
Me ha costado 139€.
Reproduce vinilos de 33, 45 y 78 rpm (estos últimos no sé cuáles son), cassettes (importante, porque todavía tengo alguna cinta), CD, radio AM/FM, y tiene ranura para tarjetas SD y memorias USB.


Bueno, estos han sido mis regalos de cumpleaños.
Quizá alguno os sirva de inspiración para hacer algún regalo.

In this post I'd like to show you my birthday presents (which was almost a month ago).

I'll begin with the gifts from Marox first.

1- Ace of Base CD 'Hidden Gems'.
Marox was a bit scared about giving me a CD, since her 'failure' with the Sharon Corr one.
But this time she nailed it, because I didn't have it.
It's a compilation of unreleased tracks.
By the way, have you noticed that both of us like Swedish bands?

2- Yankee Candle 'Soft Cotton'.
It has that 'fresh laundry' scent.
I like it very much.




3- 'Tommy Girl' parfum from Tommy Hilfiger.
This fragrance has very good reviews on the net, so she dared to purchase it for me.
I haven't used it yet, because I'm still using 'Premier Jour' from Nina Ricci, which was also a gift from Marox.

4- 'Travalo' Travel size atomizer .
I've had the dupes of this one, but it seemed they leaked and were eventually empty by themselves (considering I didn't use them that much).
I guess the original one will give me a better result.
I haven't used it yet, but it'll get into my purse soon.




And now I'll show you my gifts to self.

5- Bentonite clay 'Aztec Secret'.
I ordered it from Vitacost, and I'm using it for my masks.

6- Fabric pencil case (36 holes).
I bought it at Aliexpress.
I didn't know that this kind of cases were also available for pencils, and not just for make-up brushes.
I find it very useful. Now my pencils are well kept and accesible.
I've abandoned those adult colouring books lately.




7- Gorilla Pod-style mini tripod .
I've also ordered it from Aliexpress.
There are several types. This one is for DSLR cameras. The base of the legs is non-slip, and legs are covered with some kind of foam.
It has the perfect size for travelling. I can very easily keep it in my camera bag.

8- Retro style turntable, from Inves.
I saw it at 'El Corte Inglés' department store website, so I went to Hipercor, just to see if they had it.
And they did. It was as if it was waiting for me.
I paid €139 for it.
It plays 33, 45 and 78 rpm vynils (I've never seen any of the latter), tapes (important, because I still have some of them) as well as CDs. It also has AM/FM radio, and slots for SD cards and USB pendrives.

Well, these were my birthday gifts.

Nuevo pedido a Vitacost - New order from Vitacost.

Hace algunas entradas os enseñé mi primer pedido a Vitacost, y la verdad es que no he tardado demasiado en hacer el segundo.
Esto va a ser un no parar ¡Qué miedo!
Os voy a enseñar lo que he comprado.

La idea de lo que he comprado en este segundo pedido ha surgido a partir de mi reciente interés por empezar a hacer mis propios productos de cosmética.
Me he estado empapando en YouTube sobre este tema, y prometo enseñaros lo que vaya haciendo.

1- Aceite de coco virgen extra Vitacost.
El envase contiene 120 ml y me costó 4,99$.




2- Aceite de vitamina E 100% de Cococare.
La botella contiene 15 ml y me costó 3,19$.

3- Aceite esencial de menta de Vitacost.
La botella trae 30 ml y me costó 5,27$.





4- Cera de abejas blanca en gotas de Frontier Natural Products.
El paquete trae 453 gr y me costó 14,19$.

Hasta aquí mi segundo pedido.
Ya os enseñaré lo que vaya haciendo con estas cositas.

A few posts ago I shared with you my first Vitacost Haul and the truth is it took me no time to place a second order.
I can see a trend developing, omg! Here's what I got.

The idea for the things I bought is the result of my recent interest in DIY skincare and beauty products.
I've been searching Youtube high and low for ideas and promise to show you what I make here.

1- Extra virgin coconut oil from Vitacost.
The jar contains 120 ml and I paid $4.99.

2- 100% Vitamin E oil from Cococare.
The bottle contains 15 ml and I paid $3.19.







3- Pure peppermint essential oil from Vitacost.
The bottle contains 30 ml and was $5.27.

4- White beeswax beads from Frontier Natural Products.
The pack contains 453 gr and was $14.19.





Well, this is what I bought in my second order.
I'll promise to show you what I'll be doing with all this stuff.

Compras varias acumuladas en Vitacost y iHerb / Sundry Vitacost and iHerb Haul

Creo que nunca había hecho un post de compras tan... acumuladas. He ido escribiendo en otras entradas como las del viaje que corrían más prisa, me ha costado recopilar las fotos, se han juntado varios pedidos inesperados... En fin, qué le voy a hacer. Soy un desastre, lo sé.

1- Pedido a Vitacost: Realizado y enviado el 13 de marzo. Me llegó el 29. Me pedí una manteca corporal de Alba Botanica con nuez de kukui -que aún no he probado pero huele genial-, un desodorante de Queen Helene de menta y dos paquetes de azúcar de coco de la marca Vitacost. No deja poso, a diferencia del primero que probamos.

2 - Pedido a Vitacost: Realizado el 24 de mayo. Como véis, me pedí la famosa mascarilla de Acure Organics, un protector solar de la marca Babyganics, aceite de jojoba de Desert Essence, bálsamos labiales de Desert Essence, desodorante de Queen Helene de árbol de té, aceite de árbol de té de la marca Vitacost y aceite de onagra que me recomendó mi ginecóloga, con la misma dosis pero mucho más barato.

3 - Pedido a Iherb. Realizado y enviado el 25 de agosto y recibido... el 30 de agosto.
Pedí dos desodorantes: de manzanilla y caléndula de Desert Essence y de menta de Queen Helene. Aprovechando que venden Elf, pedí un delineador en gel negro, que suele estar agotado. Incluye un pequeño pincel. El delineador va bastante bien y está muy bien de precio.
De la sección de Trials cogí una minitalla de un gel de ducha que quizá use como limpiador facial.
Hice un pequeño pedido a iHerb porque me pasaba de peso en Vitacost.

4 - Pedido a Vitacost: Realizado el 25 de agosto, también. Pedí la famosa crema de peinado para pelo rizado de coco de Desert Essence, a la que Bliur jura fidelidad eterna. El exfoliante de chocolate de Giovanni que regalé a Marian, aceite de onagra para mí y azúcar de coco para mi madre, esta vez de la marca *Wholesome Sweeteners*, que era uno de los que tenían rebajados.
Tenían una promoción del 50% al comprar productos de su marca, así que tengo dos frascos de onagra.
Crítica a Correos: Dejaron el aviso... ¡en el buzón de publicidad! Una vecina lo vió y me lo metió en el buzón. El paquete lo tenían ya marcado como para devolver y si llego a ir a Correos media hora más tarde, me quedo sin él. 

5 - Pedido a iHerb. Realizado el 29 de septiembre y recibido el 10 de octubre: Aceites esenciales de jazmín, lavanda y citronella de la marca Now Foods y "azúcar sin azúcar" de la sección de Trials, que costaba sólo 50 centavos.
De los aceites, el que más nos ha gustado es el de jazmín. Los compramos para usar en el *difusor de aromas por ultrasonidos* que ya os enseñamos. Por cierto, éste artículo fue una de las ofertas Flash del Black Friday. Y mi madre me pidió que le pidiera otro para Burgos, por lo que tuve que hacer... un nuevo pedido a iHerb.

6 - Pedido a Iherb. Realizado el 24 de noviembre y recibido el 15 de diciembre.
En esta ocasión pedí 2 frascos de aceite esencial de eucalipto de la marca Cococare, 1 de jazmín, de citronela de Now Foods y 1 de lavanda de Cococare.

Bueno, ahora sí, estos han sido mis últimos pedidos a iHerb y Vitacost.

I don't think I've ever written a Haul post with so many different orders. Other posts took precedence, it took me a while to compile all the pics, there were a few unplanned orders... Anyway, I'm a crappy blogger, I know. Have mercy on me, will you?


1- Vitacost Haul: Ordered placed and sent on March 13th. Got it on the 29th. I ordered a body butter from Alba Botanica, containing kukui nut that I haven't tested yet but smells divine. I also included a Mint Julep Queen Helene deodorant and two packets of Vitacost-brand coconut sugar. It doesn't leave a residue, unlike the first brand we tried.


2- Vitacost Haul: Order was placed on May 24th. As you can see, I ordered the famous Acure Organics face mask, a tube of sunscreen from Babyganics, a bottle of jojoba oil from Desert Essence, some Desert Essence lip balms, another Queen Helene deodorant from the Tea Tree range. I also ordered some Vitacost Tea Tree oil and Evening Primrose Oil, recommended to me by my gynecologist -same dosage, but much cheaper.

3 - iHerb Haul. Order placed and sent on August 25th and received on... August 30th. I ordered two deodorants: Desert Essence's chamomile and calendula and Queen Helene's Mint Julep. Since they stock Elf products, I ordered a black gel eyeliner that is usually out of stock. It comes with a small slant brush. The liner works really well and is great value for money.
From the Trials section, I got a travel-sized tube of body wash that I may use as a face cleanser.

4 - Vitacost Haul. Order was placed on August 25th as well and I got it... on August 30th. Talk about fast. I ordered the famous Desert Essence coconut curl styling creme that Bliur swears by. I ordered the Giovanni chocolate scrub for Marian's birthday, plus some Evening Primrose Oil for me and more coconut sugar for my mum, this time from the brand *Wholesome Sweeteners*, which was one of the brands on sale.
They had a 50% off deal when ordering Vitacost-brand products, so I got two bottles of Evening Primrose Oil.
And now it's time for some rant: The Spanish post service Correos put the 'sorry you were out' note on the building's publicity mailbox. One of my neighbours saw it and put it in mine, but if I'd gone to the post office 30 minutes later than I did, I wouldn't have got my parcel, as it was already labelled and ready to be sent back to sender.

5 - iHerb Haul: Order was placed on September 29th and received October 10th. My mum asked me to get her some essential oils for her *ultrasonic oil diffuser*. I.e. jasmine, lavender and citronella, all from Now Foods. I also got her some 'Sugarless Sugar' from the Trials section, as it was only .50 cents.
Our pick from these oils is hands down the jasmine one. The device we're using them on is from Amazon. It was one of their Black Friday deals recently, and my mum asked me to get her another one for their other house in Burgos. Which in turn led to my placing yet another order from iHerb.

6 -  iHerb Haul: Order placed on November 24th and was received December 15th.This time I ordered two bottles of Cococare's Eucalyptus Oil, 1 bottle of jasmine and 1 of citronella from Now Foods and another of Cococare's lavender oil.



Well, at long last, those were my latest iHerb and Vitacost orders.
Bet you'd never seen such a belated post. Have you tried any of the above mentioned products? Do give us your two cents about them in the comments section down below.

Mi primer pedido a Vitacost - My first order from Vitacost.

Hola, chicas:

Hasta ahora, todo lo que os hemos enseñado de Vitacost lo había pedido Marox, aunque siempre había alguna cosilla para mí, pero éste ha sido mi primer pedido.
Os enseño lo que he comprado.

1- Aceite esencial de lavanda de Now Foods. Contiene 30 ml y cuesta 7,95$.





2- Aceite esencial de citronela de Aura Cacia.
Contiene 60 ml y cuesta 8,89$.

3- Aceite esencial de jazmín de Now Foods.
Contiene 30 ml y cuesta 5,89$.




4- Aceite esencial de eucalipto de Now Foods.
Contiene 30 ml y cuesta 3,69$.

Todos estos aceites esenciales los he comprado para utilizarlos en mi nuevo ambientador ultrasónico. Mi madre tiene otro igual y la verdad es que aparte de decorar, deja un olor riquísimo en la casa. Sólo hay que llenar de agua la cubeta interior, con capacidad de 300 ml y añadir unas gotas de aceite esencial -se pueden mezclar varios-. Como se usa muy poco de cada vez, duran mucho.
Nos lo pidió Marox por Amazon. Costó 34,99€.

El mueble donde está el ambientador lo compré en un bazar chino en Zamora.
Me costó 45€. Estuve mirando en varias tiendas y eran carísimos, y además, no eran lo que buscaba. Éste me pareció perfecto.
En el primer cajón guardo las instrucciones del ambientador y los aceites esenciales.
Ya veré qué guardo en los demás.

5- Própolis 1000 mg de Vitacost.
El bote trae 90 cápsulas y cuesta 6,99$.
Hace años estuve tomándolo una temporada y me fue muy bien. Lo tomaré durante los meses de más frío. A ver si no pillo más catarros este invierno.
Como todos los suplementos alimenticios, no sustituyen una buena alimentación y un estilo de vida saludable. Tened esto en cuenta.

So far, all our Vitacost Hauls were courtesy of Marox, even though she always included something in her orders for me. This was my first time ordering from them.
This is what I got.

1 - Lavender essential oil from Now Foods: It contains 30ml and cost US$ 7.95.

2 - Citronela essential oil from Aura Cacia. Contains 60ml and cost US$ 8.89.




3 - Jasmine essential oil from Now Foods. Contains 30ml and cost US$ 5.89.

4- Eucalyptus essential oil from Now Foods. Contains 30ml and cost US$ 3.69.




I bought all these essential oils to use them on my new ultrasonic air freshener. My mum has the same model and besides being a nice piece of décor, it leaves a really pleasant scent all around your home. All you have to do is fill the inner container with up to 300 ml of water and add a few drops of essential oil -you can combine them-. Since you only use a very small amount every time, these oils will last forever.
Marox ordered these devices from Amazon. They cost €34.99 each. 

I bought the piece of furniture where the air freshener is on at a Chinese-run euro store. I paid €45 for it. I looked around some stores, and either they were very expensive or they weren't what I was looking for.
This one was perfect for me.
The first drawer is where I keep the instructions manual of the air freshener and the essential oils. I don't know yet what to put in the rest of the drawers.


5 - Bee Propolis 1000mg capsules from Vitacost's own brand. The bottle contains 90 capsules and cost US$ 6.99.
I took these capsules for some time several years ago, and I felt very well. Now I'll take them during the coldest months. I hope I won't get more colds this winter.
As all dietary supplements, they'll never replace a balanced diet and a healthy way of life. Keep this in mind.

Productos terminados #51 - 'Finito' products #51.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros las cositas que hemos terminado últimamente.


1- Fluido protector rápida absorción FPS 50+ de Solcare (Marian).
Lo he usado este verano, bien solo o debajo del maquillaje. Lo compré el año pasado (creo), y aunque todavía quedaba producto, la fórmula ya no estaba en condiciones óptimas, así que lo he tirado.



2- BB mousse de Flormar (Marian).
La compré hace algo más de un año, y la he estado usando a diario, como maquillaje.
Al principio me quedaba bien de color, pero con el tiempo se me quedó oscura, y con un tono algo anaranjado (¿oxidación?).
No obstante, he esperado a que se me terminara. Para que el color no quedara tan oscuro, he estado usando la prebase de maquillaje de Art Deco, que es blanquecina.
No repetiré con ella.

3- Sleeping pack Honey de Holika Holika (Marox).
Me he propuesto intentar usar las muchas muestras que regalan con revistas, o pedidos de cosmética asiática. Sería una pena tenerlas que tirar sin tan siquiera haberlas usado.
Me gustó este sleeping pack, no me resultó excesivamente grasiento ni pegajoso. Sin embargo, le tengo echado el ojo a otro para cuando acabe el que estoy usando.
En cualquier caso, ya sabéis que una muestrita no siempre es suficiente para hacer que nos decidamos por un producto. Mi madre siempre dice que la calidad de las muestras es mucho mejor que el producto que luego compras. En mi caso, alguna vez se ha cumplido. 



4- Serum pestañas Etude House (Marox). La pinta que tiene creo que indica porqué lo he jubilado. No soy nada constante con estos productos: los uso una temporada y luego me olvido de ellos.

5- Desodorante Tom's (Marian).
Lo he terminado durante nuestra estancia en Londres. De hecho, la foto está hecha en la habitación del hotel.
Me ha gustado mucho, porque protege adecuadamente.
Otros desodorantes sin sales de aluminio se me quedan un poco cortos y "me abandonan", sobre todo ciertos días al mes.
No me importaría repetir con él.



Bien, pues esto ha sido todo de momento.

Here we are again, ready to share with you our thoughts on the products we've used up lately.

1 - Quick-absorbing face sunscreen 50+ SPF, Solcare (Mercadona supermarkets - Marian):
 I used it this summer, either on its own or underneath my makeup. I bought it the year before -or so I believe- and although there was still some left, the texture had changed and wasn't safe to use.

2 - Flormar BB Mousse (Marian): I purchased this a little over a year ago and I'd been using it daily as my everyday makeup. At first, the colour looked right but over time, it turned dark with an orange tint to it (oxidizing?).
Anyway, I used it up all the same. In order to tone the color down a bit, I used Art Deco's primer, which is completely white. I wouldn't repurchase.



3 - Holika Holika Honey Sleeping pack (Marox)
I'm on a secret mission to try and use the many samples that come either in magazines or with Korean skincare orders. It would be a pity to throw them away unused, wouldn't it?
I liked this sleeping pack, as it didn't seem too oily or sticky. But I have another one on my wishlist, once I've finished the one I'm using at the moment.
Anyway, you know it's hard to decide whether you like a product enough to make a purchase with a single sachet. My mum is of the opinion that the quality of samples is far better than the product you get when you buy a full-sized version. And in my experience, it turned out to be true a couple of times.

4- Eyelashes serum from Etude House (Marox). A quick look at the photo will be enough to discover why I'm throwing this away. I'm afraid I'm not consistent using certain products: use them a lot at first and then forget about them.




5- Deodorant from Tom's (Marian).
I used it up during our stay in London.
In fact, the pic was taken in our hotel room.
I like it very much, as it provides suitable protection.
Other deodorants without aluminium chlorhydrate 'leave me in the lurch', specially during those days of the month, you see.
I wouldn't mind repurchasing it.
