Compras Vitacost y Buyincoins

Hola, chicas:

Aquí vengo a enseñaros mis compras en estas dos tiendas.

1 - Compras en Vitacost:

- Desodorante de Queen Helene con extracto de menta: Tiene un precio en la web de 3,69 dólares. Es de los desodorantes naturales más económicos. No contiene sales de aluminio ni glicol de propileno. He tenido una especie de sarpullido (que resultó ser psoriasis) en las axilas y durante unos días estuve utilizando otro de otra marca. Temí que estuviera dando reacción o algo y me daba pena porque me gustan y tengo unos cuantos de reserva.
Pasado lo peor del brote, he vuelto a usarlos sin problema.

-  Loción para manos y cuerpo de Jäsön con aloe vera: La compré para mi madre. La otra se la dejó en Zamora. En la farmacia casi todo lo que le vendían tenía una composición bastante regulera. Tiene un precio de 6,69 dólares. Ésta no la ha estrenado aún, aunque sé que la otra le gustó.



- Champú con biotina y bambú de Nature's Gate: El Boo Bamboo que estoy usando ahora mismo estaba agotado, así que probaré éste a ver qué tal. Trae más cantidad y es más barato. Ya os contaré cuando lo use.
Ahora mismo lo tienen a 4,14 dólares, más barato aún de lo que me costó.

-  Aceite de argán de Acure Organics: Lo tenían a tan sólo 4,99 dólares, así que lo eché al carro. De momento lo he usado un par de veces, sólo y mezclado con otros productos en el rostro.
El envase venía como aceitoso, pero no parecía faltar producto. Lo ideal sería que viniera mejor precintado.

2 - Pedido a Buyincoins: Creo que hacía un par de años que no pedía nada a esta web china. Me alegra saber que devuelve cashback con Topcashback.
Pedí alguna cosa más, pero os enseño lo que creo que más os puede interesar.

- Brochas para ojos: Tenía alguna un poco viejita y pedí éstas. No están mal, aunque creo que de momento, me han gustado más las brochas de rostro de esta tienda que las de ojos. Son tres modelos diferentes de brochas, aunque la forma de dos de ellas es muy, muy similar.

Bueno, eso ha sido todo por el momento. Contadnos en los comentarios qué soleis comprar en estas tiendas.

Here I am to show you my latest purchases at these two online stores.

1 - Vitacost Haul:

- Mint Julep Queen Helene deodorant: Available for $3.69. It is one of the cheapest natural deodorants out there. It does not contain aluminium or propylene glycol.
A few weeks ago I had a rash in my armpits and am using another version from the same brand but switched to a different deodorant altogether. The rash turned out to be a new plaque of psoriasis, so this was not the culprit. I'm glad because these are nice and I still have a few backups.

-  Aloe Vera hand and body lotion from Jäsön: I bought this for our mum, cause the other one I got her is in our other home in Zamora. Most of the stuff she was offered at the chemist's had a rather poor ingredient list full of junk. This is very affordable at $6,69.
She hasn't used this bottle yet, although I know she likes it.



- Biotin and Bamboo Enriching shampoo from Nature's Gate:  The one I'm currently using from Boo Bamboo was sold out, so I ordered this instead. The bottle is bigger and is cheaper, so let's see how that goes.
Right now it is on sale for just $4.14, cheaper than what I paid when I ordered mine.

- Acure Organics Argan Oil: For just $4.99 I had to order this. So far, I've only used it a couple of times, on its own and blended into other products on my face.
The cardboard packaging was greasy after transit, but the jar seemed full. Ideally, this should come sealed to prevent leaking.

2- Buyincoins Haul: It'd been a couple of years since I last placed an order there. I'm glad to see it's cashback eligible with Topcashback.
I ordered a few more things not pictured, but I was hoping this would pique your interest more.

- Eye brushes: I have a few that show some wear and tear and ordered this. They're nice, although I'd say I've been more impressed with the face brushes that I've tried from them. These are three different eye brushes, although it would seem two of them are the same, as the bristles have the same shape.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul

Aquí venimos para enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

1- Caja compartimentada para guardar maquillaje: (Marian) Comprada en una tienda china local, para reemplazar a la anterior, que tiene la tapa destrozada cortesía de Madame Molly. Ésta lleva el mismo camino, puesto que le encanta subirse encima y ya de paso, morderla y arañarla. Precio: 6,50€.

2- Auriculares Silvercrest (Marox). Lo cierto es que ahí donde los véis, no me han durado gran cosa. No sé qué me pasa con los auriculares, que pasado un tiempo dejan de oirse. ¿Soy sólo yo o a alguien más le pasa? Los usaba con el iPad, para ver alguna serie o programa de TV. Creo que costaron unos 5 euros.


Pedido a Buyincoins-

3- Auriculares para la tablet: Hacía siglos que no pedía nada a Buyincoins, pero necesitaba reponer alguna cosilla y metí unas cuantas chuminadas en la cesta. Estos auriculares son muy similares a unos que compré en un mercadillo. La pieza que se coloca en la oreja tiene una forma que se ajusta perfectamente sin moverse. La pega es que la calidad de sonido no es tan buena como los anteriores -que eso sí, estaban los pobres pidiendo la hora-. Están disponibles en varios colores, pedí un par en blanco para mí y estos negros para Marian. Por si os lo preguntábais, os diré que no, los míos ya pasaron a mejor vida.

4 - Accesorio para infusión: Pedí dos de éstos, que aún no hemos estrenado. Son de plástico rígido y no de silicona, como otros que venden.

5 - Cabezales compatibles con cepillos OralB: Aunque ya sabéis que compramos los originales a buen precio en el mercadillo local, hay temporadas en que no los tienen, así que busqué alternativas por si en algún momento no los encontramos. Existen varios modelos disponibles -éste es la copia del Dual Clean- . Vienen en un blister de 4.
Llevo usando el mío un tiempo y de momento he notado que no engancha del todo en el cabezal y se va separando con el cepillado. De hecho, en una ocasión, salió disparado -sólo me pasó una vez.
No sé si son cosas mías, pero noto que el cepillo no rota tan rápido como si usara el original.
Le he dado uno a Marian y a nuestra madre para que lo prueben y comparar opiniones.

6- Envase rellenable para productos en gel, cremas...
Creo que será una buena idea para llevar en nuestros viajes, quizá para el champú, gel, acondicionador..., cosas así.
Lo tienen en varios tamaños y creo recordar que este era el pequeño, la S. 

7- Vaso plegable de silicona.
Otra idea genial para llevar en nuestros viajes. Así ya no tendremos que llevar la botellita en la mochila, con lo que pesa.
Malo será que no encontremos una fuente para llenarlo, jeje.
A mi madre le ha encantado, así que a ver si le pido uno. 

Pedí también unas bolsas para infusiones, de las que no tengo foto.

Here we are ready to share with you our latest assorted purchases.

1- Makeup organizer with dividers (Marian). Found it at a local euro store, to replace the tatty lid the previous one boasts, courtesy of MollyTheCat. This one is looking pretty bad already, as she loves to climb on top of it and bite it and scratch it while she's at it. Price: 6.50 EUR.

2- Silvercrest earphones (Marox). 
Not the best ones I've had, not by a long shot, as they no longer work. I don't know what's wrong with me and earphones, as after I while they stop working . Is it just me or does anyone else have the same issue? 
I used these to watch streaming shows or TV on the Ipad.
I think these were about 5 EUR.




Buyincoins Haul

3 - Earphones for the tablet: It was a year at least since my previous BIC Haul and I found myself needing to restock on some stuff and adding knick knacks to the basket too. These earphones look identical to my previous ones, purchased at the local flea market back home. What I like about this is that they fit snugly into the earduct and don't fall out like others usually do. The con is that the sound quality of these is nowhere near as good as the ones I mentioned. These are available in several colours, but I ordered them in white for myself and black -pictured, for Marian.
And in case you were wondering, mine no longer work. 



4 - Tea infuser: I also ordered two, but haven't got round to using them just yet. They're made of a solid plastic material, not silicone, like others they sell.

5 - Compatible 'OralB' brush heads: Although we're lucky enough to get the originals from the local flea market, they're hard to find sometimes and I thought I could explore other options out there in case they don't stock them anymore at some point.

6- Refillable cosmetics bottle.
I think this will be a good idea to take with us when travelling, maybe to be filled in with shampoo, shower gel, conditioner..., and that kind of stuff.
I seem to recall these were available in three sizes, this being the smallest one (S).

7- Collapsible silicon cup.
Another great thing to take with us when travelling. This way we won't have to carry a bottle of water in our backpack.
We'll just have to find a fountain to fill it in, lol.
My mum loves it, so I'll get her one soon. 

I also ordered some paper tea bags, not pictured.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul

Aquí nos tenéis con otra entrada para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

Here we are again to show you our latest haul.

1- Emulsión hidratante de baba de caracol de SCINIC (Marian).
Marox me ha dicho que las hidratantes en emulsión son más ligeras, y más apropiadas para pieles grasas.
Así que me animé a comprar una, pero diferente a la suya.
Todavía no la he probado, así que ya os contaré.
De entrada, y como ya apuntó Marox en su momento, el envase de cristal hace difícil que se pueda aprovechar todo el producto, pero es lo que hay.




2- BB cream de baba de caracol de SCINIC (Marian).
Como estaba a punto de gastar mi BB cream de Holika Holika, aproveché el pedido para comprar ésta de la misma gama.
Ya os contaré qué tal va.
Lo compré junto con el producto anterior por eBay a *este* vendedor.
El vendedor incluyó, además, todas estas muestras.

3- Difusor de silicona plegable para el secador (Marox): me pareció que podría ser una buena idea hacernos con un par de éstos para viaje, el problema es que no encajan en todos los secadores de pelo. En el profesional de mi madre y en uno doméstico normalito de Marian sí encajan, pero no nos sirvieron para el secador del hotel de Estocolmo. Por poco.
Lo compré por Ebay al vendedor *kohangoffice2011*. Me costó 13,99 dólares cada uno. 



4- Herramientas para nail-art (Marox): en el último pedido a Buyincoins, me animé a pedir unos "punteros" o 'dotting tools', por si nos animamos a hacernos algún diseño en las uñas. Vienen cinco y nos los hemos repartido como buenas hermanas.

5- Colonia "Like a new love" de Essence (Marox): compré esta colonia en tamaño viaje para llevar a Estocolmo. Como después compré la de Saphir, pues se la dí a Marian para que la llevara ella en su neceser y yo me llevé la otra. Así Marian podía bañarse en colonia tranquilamente sin dejarme a mí sin ninguna, jeje.
Tiene un olor suave, como empolvado.

1 -Snail mucus moisturizing emulsion from SCINIC (Marian).
Marox told me that moisturizing emulsions are lighter, more appropriate for oily skin.
So I decided to buy one, but different from hers.
I haven't tried it yet, so I'll tell you when I do.
As Marox said when she showed you hers, the glass bottle makes using the product up to the very end difficult, but beggars cannot be choosers.

2 -Snail mucus BB cream from SCINIC (Marian).
As I'd almost used up my Holika Holika BB cream, I included this with the same order.
I'll let you how it works for me when I try it.
I bought both products off eBay, from *this* seller.

The seller also included all these samples.





3-  Collapsible silicone hair drier diffuser (marox): I thought it could be handy to have a couple of these to take when travelling, but unfortunately they don't fit all hairdriers. They did work for the professional one our mum has and the regular one Marian has, but it didn't fit the one in our hotel room in Stockholm. It was a narrow miss, though.
I got this off Ebay from the seller *kohangoffice2011* and paid $13.99 for each.

4 - Nail art dotting tools (marox): in my latest order to Buyincoins, I finally worked up the courage to order some dotting tools, in case we ever get creative with our manis. It comes in a set of 5 that we shared like good sisters usually do.



5 - 'Like a new love' Essence fragrance (marox): I bought this travel-sized bottle to take to our recent trip to Stockholm. Since I ended up buying another from Saphir, I offered this to Marian so she could keep it in her vanity case while I packed the other one. That way, Marian could bathe herself in it without the fear of leaving me with nothing to use, lol.
The scent is not overpowering at all and is rather powdery, I'd say.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products (#30).

Aquí estamos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Polvos sueltos "Noche y Día" (Marian).
Me los regaló Marox hace muchísimo tiempo. Creo que incluso antes de empezar este blog, para que os hagáis una idea.
La caja vacía que veis (no penséis que la he fregado para la foto, sino que gasté absolutamente todo el polvo suelto) no es la original. La original se rompió, y pasé los polvos a ésta.
No recuerdo cuánta cantidad contenía la caja, pero me han cundido muchísimo.
Aunque me han dado un buen resultado, es bastante poco probable que repita con ellos, por la dificultad de encontrar la misma marca.



2- Prebase ojos Rival de Loop Young (Marian).
No os imagináis lo que he sentido que se me acabara. No sé si encontraré otra prebase como ésta. Creo que con esto, lo he dicho todo.
La compré cuando estuvimos en Berlín (ya os la enseñamos en su día). La relación calidad-precio de esta prebase es inmejorable.
Si pudiera, obviamente repetiría con ella, pero a no ser que volvamos a viajar a Alemania, lo veo bastante difícil, puesto que por lo que sé, no se vende online.

3- Crema hidratante Holika Holika Water March (Marian).
La he estado utilizando en mi rutina diaria, y como sabéis, no es el primer tarro que he usado de esta crema. Esto quiere decir que me ha gustado mucho, mucho.
Pero eso no significa que de vez en cuando, no me apetezca probar otros productos.
Por supuesto, no descartaría repetir con ella, pero no ahora.

4- BB cream Luminous Silk de Holika Holika (Marian).
Me encantan las BB cream asiáticas, como ya sabéis, y me gusta probar diferentes marcas.
De ésta, probé una muestra en su día, y me decidí a comprarla.
Como otras que he probado hasta ahora, tiene una cobertura que yo describiría como media-alta, y deja la piel con muy buen aspecto.
El tema de los brillos al cabo de las horas no lo he podido evitar con ninguna, ni aun matificando con polvos. Aun así, mi opinión sobre ella es muy positiva.

5- Esponjita de maquillaje de Buyincoins (Marian).
Como podéis ver, ha llegado el final de su vida útil. No hace falta explicar por qué.
Me encantan este tipo de esponjitas para aplicar la BB cream, puesto que al ser más densas que los maquillajes fluidos, una brocha para aplicar maquillaje no las extiende igual.
Repetiré con este tipo de producto sin duda, aunque sea de otras marcas.

Here we are with a new review of the items we've used up recently.

1 - Loose translucent powder 'Noche & Día' (Marian).
Marox gave me them a long time ago.
I think that was before we started with this blog, so you can get an idea.
The empty bottle you see (don't think I've washed it for the pic, it's just that I used up absolutely all the loose powder) is not the original one, which broke, so I had to put the powder into this one.
I don't remember the amount of the original bottle, but they've lasted for a long time.
Although I got a good result, I surely won't be repeating with them, because this brand is hard to find.

2 - Rival de Loop Young Eyeshadow Base (Marian).
You can't imagine how sorry I feel because I run out of it. I don't know if I could find another eyeshadow base like this one. Nothing more to say.
I bought it when we were in Berlin (we already showed you it). The quality-price rate of this base is unbeatable.
If I could, I would repeat with it, obviously, but unless we travel to Germany again, it's quite hard to find it, because if I'm right, it's not sold online.



3 - Holika Holika Water March moisturiser (Marian).
I've been using it in my daily routine, and as you know, it's not the first bottle I used of this moisturizer. This means that I like it sooo much.
But it doesn't mean that I don't want to try other products.
Of course, I wouldn't rule out to repeat with it, but not now.


4 - Holika Holika Luminous Silk BB Cream (Marian).
I love Asian BB creams, as you know, and I like trying different brands.
I tried a sample of this one, and I decided to buy it.
As others I've tried so far, it has a medium-high coverage, and it leaves the skin with a soft and healthy feeling.
I couldn't avoid the shiny skin issue, even mattifying with powder.
However, my opinion about it is very possitive.



5- Buyincoins makeup sponge (Marian).
As you can see, its lifespan came to the end. There's no need to explain why.
I love this kind of sponges to apply BB creams, because as they're more dense than fluid foundation, they can't be applied the same way by a foundation brush.
I'll buy this kind of product again, no matter the brand is.

Nuestras brochas de maquillaje de Buyincoins / Our Buyincoins Makeup Brushes

¡Hola!

Hoy venimos con una reseña un poquito diferente, ya que no se trata de un producto de cuidado facial o de maquillaje, sino de un elemento indispensable a la hora de maquillarnos: las brochas.

No nos gusta gastar demasiado en brochas, especialmente ahora que hay bastantes alternativas.

Aunque no tenemos demasiadas brochas de Buyincoins, sí que nos gustaría hablaros un poco en detalle de ellas, especialmente puesto que hemos dejado de enseñaros los pedidos que hemos seguido haciendo a esta tienda online china -más espaciados que antes.

Brochas recomendadas:

- Brochas tipo "Yachiyo de NARS": Oficialmente se llama 'Pro Cosmetic Goat Hair Makeup Rattan Brush'. Se trata de unas brochas cuyo mango de madera sin tratar está forrado de una especie de fibra, de ratán, por lo visto. Las cerdas presentan un corte en punta y son muy suavecitas.
Existen dos versiones de *esta brocha*, una en color blanco y otra negra. No obstante, como véis en las fotos no se diferencian sólo en el color del mango y las cerdas, el corte también es diferente.
Tenemos las dos, la blanca (marox) y la negra (marian). Marox suele utilizar esta brocha para difuminar el colorete -vamos, para corregir los excesos en la aplicación y no ir como Heidi por la vida. Ha probado alguna vez la negra, pero si tuviera que escoger sólo una, prefiere la blanca.

- Brocha mofeta tipo "187 de MAC": Ha sido la última adquisición de Marox. Compró sólo una para ver si merecía la pena o era una birria, sin saber que supuestamente era un clon de dicha brocha. La podéis ver *aquí*.
Sólo podemos compararla con la mofeta de KIKO y de momento, ésta de BIC gana por goleada: En su primera lavada no ha desteñido y sólo perdió UN pelo. De la 106 de KIKO mejor no hablo, que a día de hoy -que he lavado para la foto- aún deja pelos en la cara al usarla. Sí, también soltó pelos para la ocasión. Ggrr.
La brocha de Kiko es más pequeña y tiene el mango más corto, como podéis ver.

- Brocha de corte plano tipo 'Everyday Minerals': En la tienda se llama 'Environmental Flat Top Buffer Makeup Bamboo Brush'
Es la brocha que utilizamos para aplicar los polvos translúcidos, pero también el maquillaje mineral. No la he probado con bases o BB Creams. Las cerdas son supersuaves. La de marox vino con unos cuantos pelitos más largos, que cortó facilmente con una tijerita. Nada grave.

Recientemente, incluímos una en un sorteo.

NO recomendamos:

- La brocha de difuminar 'Tapered Blending Eye Shadow Brush': Tenemos dos de *estas brochas* y no son ninguna maravilla. Las cerdas son muy ásperas, de tamaño es quizá demasiado grande como para difuminar una sombra ya aplicada en el párpado. Es aprovechable para aplicar un toque de una sombra más oscura para marcar la V o para destacar las cejas aplicando una sombra blanquita. Al lavarla pierde muchos pelos y no gana tampoco en suavidad.
Sé que la calidad de las brochas puede variar según la remesa, pero por mi parte, reitero lo dicho: que os ahorréis vuestro dinero y NO la compréis.

Today we have a somewhat different review for you, as we won't be reviewing any skincare or makeup items but a few much-needed tools when putting on our makeup: brushes.

We don't really like to splurge on brushes, especially with so many cheap alternatives out there.

Although we don't have an awful lot of Buyincoins brushes, we did want to tell you a little bit more about the ones we do have, especially considering we haven't shared with you previous Buyincoins orders. We don't order from this Chinese online shop as often as we once used to.

Recommended brushes:

- 'NARS-Yachiyolike' brushes: The official name is 'Pro Cosmetic Goat Hair Makeup Rattan Brush' and the handle of these brushes is covered by some (rattan?) fiber to protect the untreated wood underneath. The bristles are pointy and really really soft.
There are two different versions of *this brush*, one in black and another one in white. You'll see in the pictures that the only difference between them is not merely the colour, though.
We own both brushes, the white one (marox) and the black one (marian). Marox likes to use hers to blend out excess blusher -i.e. she wouldn't dare leave the house à la Heidi-.
Marox has occasionally tried the black one though she'd go for the white one if she could only choose one.

- 'MAC 187-like brush: It's been Marox's latest purchase, without knowing it was a knockoff from said brush. She was curious to see if it was any good or was a piece of *hit.
We can only compare *this brush* with our KIKO stippling brush and so far, this cheap brush beats that by a wide margin: the first time we washed this, there was no visible discoloration and only shed ONE bristle. Don't get me started about the 106 KIKO one -which I washed for the picture-, because loose bristles still get on your face when you use it. And yes, it did shed more bristles too. Jeez!
The KIKO one is smaller and has a shorter handle, as you can see.

-Flat top 'Everyday Minerals-like' brush: In the store this goes by the name 'Environmental Flat Top Buffer Makeup Bamboo Brush' .
This is the brush we use to apply translucent powder, as well as mineral makeup. We haven't tried it for foundation or with BB Creams.
The bristles are silky soft. The one marox uses came with a couple of overlong bristles that she trimmed easily, though. No big deal.

We DO NOT recommend:

- The 'Tapered Blending Eye Shadow Brush': We own two of *these* and are nothing to write home about. The bristles are too harsh, it's on the big side to be used for blending a shade that's been already applied. It is 'useable' for applying a pop of a darker colour on the crease or to highlight you brows with an off-white shade. It sheds too many bristles when washing it and doing so makes no difference to the softness of the bristles.
I know the quality of their brushes may change depending on which batch yours is, but still...
In other words, keep your money and DON'T get this brush.

Productos terminados / 'Finito' products (#26).

Hola, chicas:
Aquí venimos de nuevo a hablaros de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Esponja de maquillaje de BIC (Buyincoins) (Marox).
Ya veis en qué estado está, así que no hacen falta más explicaciones. Había llegado el final de su vida útil.



2- Colonia nº15 de "La botica de los perfumes" (Marian).
Huele como J'Adore (que nos encanta desde que se la regalamos -la original- a nuestra madre). Compré ésta de equivalencia, se me terminó en su día, y repetí con ella.
Tengo la impresión de que ya no dura el olor tanto como antes. Y Marox lo ha corroborado.
No voy a repetir con ella, ni con ninguna otra de la marca, por el momento.

3- Mascarilla facial "peel-off" de pepino, de Montagne Jeunesse (Marian).
La compré en el pedido a Maquillalia que os enseñé *aquí*. Me ha gustado mucho. Parece que retira bien las impurezas y deja la piel con sensación de frescor.
No descarto repetir con ella, pero de momento voy a usar otras que tengo por estrenar.



4- BB Cream 'I love BB Light' de Peripera: Me ha encantado esta BB Cream, tiene una cobertura excelente. De tono quizá me viene un pelín clara, pero lo soluciono añadiendole una gota de otra base de maquillaje que me queda oscura y así también voy gastando la otra. Después aplico un poco de polvos translucidos y me aguanta muy bien.
Me gusta desmaquillarla con el aceite de Deliplus y luego el jabón limpiador de Lidl.
Si sois de las que os apetece probar distintas BB Creams, merece la pena probarla sin dudarlo.

5- Exfoliante corporal de coco de BodyFarm (Marian).
Como Marox sabe que me encanta el olor a coco, me lo regaló hace tiempo.
La verdad es que me ha gustado mucho. Tiene el grano de un buen tamaño para exfoliar bien la piel.
Al aclarar la piel, ésta se nota suave, pero como este producto no tiene aceites, hay que hidratarla después.

Bien, estos han sido nuestros últimos productos terminados. No sabíamos que íbamos a acabar escribiendo tantas entradas de este tipo, y ya van 26. Eso es bueno, porque así no tenemos cargo de conciencia cuando compramos potis.

Here we are again to show you what we've used up recently.

1- Make-up sponge from BIC (Buyincoins) (Marox).
The picture speaks loud enough, so there's no need for explanations. Needless to say its service life has come to the end.

2- Parfum no.15 from 'La botica de los perfumes' (Marian).
It smells like J'Adore (which we love ever since we gave it -the original one- to our mother).
I bought this dupe once and repurchased when I used it up.
However, I have the feeling that the scent doesn't last as it used to. And since Marox has confirmed it, I won't be buying others from this brand at least for the time being.



3- 'Peel-off' cucumber face mask from Montagne Jeunesse (Marian).
I ordered this last year from Maquillalia (I showed you the order *here*). I liked it a lot, as it seemingly removes impurities quite well, and leaves your skin with a fresh feeling.
I don't rule out buying it again, but now I'll be using other ones I have unused.

4- 'I love BB Light' BB Cream by Peripera: I loved this BB Cream, as it has excellent coverage. The shade looks a tad too light for me, so I mix it with a bit of a darker foundation to make it match. That way I also use the other product too.
I set it with a dab of translucent powder and I'm almost good to go.
At night, I remove it using my Deliplus cleansing oil and Lidl's gentle face cleanser.
If you're into sampling the different BB Creams out there, add this to your list.

5- Coconut body scrub from BodyFarm (Marian).
Since Marox knows how much I love coconut scent, she gave it to me quite a long time ago.
I liked it a lot. Its particles are quite big enough to make a good exfoliation.
Your skin feels soft once you rinse the product out, but as it doesn't contains any oils, you must moisturize your skin afterwards.

Well, these were all of our latest 'empties' products. We didn't know that we would be writing so many of these posts when we started doing them and this one is no. 26 already. This is good, because this way we won't have a guilty conscience when we buy beauty and make-up related stuff.

Mis regalos de Navidad - My Christmas presents (Marian).

Hola, chicas:
Marox ya os ha enseñado sus regalos de Navidad, así que ahora es mi turno.

Casi todos los regalos me los ha hecho Marox, y serán los que os deje para el final.

Vamos a empezar con los que me han hecho mis padres.

Uno de ellos ha sido dinero, al igual que a Marox, y éste siempre viene bien, para darse algún caprichito en las rebajas, por ejemplo (o no).
Sigo con el resto de los regalos.

1- Guantes de lana, de Santacana.
Son negros (así, combinan con todo), de piel en la parte superior (y con lunares, monísimos), y en la parte interior, de lana muy calentita.
Están hechos en España (cosa rara en estos tiempos en los que todo, o casi todo, viene de China).
Tienen la peculiaridad de que son aptos para manejar el smartphone o cualquier dispositivo táctil (comprobado).
Me vendrán muy bien para soportar el frío de Burgos.



2- Sandwichera-grill-gofrera, de Silvercrest (de venta en Lidl).
Este regalo no me lo esperaba, la verdad, pero parece que mi madre me ha leído el pensamiento, porque sabe que me gusta mucho hacerme sandwiches para cenar.
Así ya sabe que le voy a sacar partido a este pequeño electrodoméstico 3 en 1 que me ha regalado.
Y en cuanto a la gofrera, también la he estrenado.
Busqué en internet (bueno, en realidad fue Marox quien lo hizo) recetas de gofres, para hacer la masa con Thermomix (aunque también se puede hacer sin ella, claro está).
Qué buenos quedan. A ver si hago una entrada y os los enseño.

Cuando fui a Yves Rocher a comprar buena parte de los regalos que hice por Navidad, aproveché uno de los muchos cupones que me mandan por correo. Así pude aprovecharme de ofertas, y también de regalos, como en esta ocasión.

3- Leche desmaquillante.
Me ha venido de perlas, porque se me había terminado el aceite desmaquillante de Deliplus.
Ya la he probado, y la verdad es que cumple bien su función. Con poquita cantidad retira bien todo el maquillaje, aunque también es cierto que luego siempre complemento la limpieza con un jabón facial, independiente del producto que haya utilizado para desmaquillarme.



4- Loción facial.
Después de desmaquillarme y lavarme la cara, aplico este producto que deja la piel hidratada.
Para esto basta con poquita cantidad, como del tamaño de una almendra, froto entre las manos y la aplico en el rostro, extendiéndola bien.

Cada uno de estos productos viene en un envase que trae 200ml. Teniendo en cuenta que ha sido un regalo, está mejor que bien.

Ahora, por fin, voy a enseñaros las cositas que me regaló Marox.

5- Crema "Collagen Moistfull" de Etude House, para el contorno de ojos.
Marox siempre juega sobre seguro cuando regala cosas, y sabía que me hacía falta una crema para el contorno de ojos.
Todavía no la he estrenado. Tengo que quitarle aún el precinto, y como siempre voy con prisas...



6- Polvos compactos matificantes, de Innisfree.
Como me encantaron unos polvos compactos de Essence que se compró Marox, se quedó con la copla y me regaló éstos, de Innisfree.
Todavía no los he estrenado, porque estoy usando unos polvos sueltos, de los que todavía me queda bastante cantidad. Lo que sí he probado (tocado) es la borla que trae para aplicarlos, y es una pasada de suave.
Quizá los utilice para llevármelos de viaje.

Con estas dos cositas, venían 4 sobres de muestras de diferentes productos, que todavía no he probado. Otra cosa que suele ser útil cuando vamos de viaje.

Y seguimos con el cuidado facial.

7- Mascarillas faciales de vino tinto, y de arcilla verde, de Apivita.
A diferencia de la que me regaló Marox por mi cumpleaños, que era de tipo peel-off y había que preparar añadiendo agua, éstas vienen ya preparadas.
Aunque los sobres individuales son pequeños, darán para más de una aplicación, como suele ocurrir con este tipo de productos.
Todavía no las he estrenado, y es que no quiero tener un montón de productos abiertos.
Estoy esperando a que se me acabe una que estoy usando.



Este que viene a continuación me viene "al pelo", nunca mejor dicho.

8- Cepillo tipo tangle-teezer de Buyincoins.
Para quitar los enredos fácilmente. No he probado el original, así que no puedo saber si éste será mejor o peor, pero intuyo que cumplirá muy bien su función. Ya os contaré.

Y por si tenía ya pocas brochas...

9- Pincel para difuminar sombras.
Es el número 224, pero no de MAC, sino de BIC (Buyincoins). Tiene el pelo muy suave. Eso es lo único que puedo deciros de momento.



Y para guardar el maquillaje...

10- Caja para guardar cosméticos, también de BIC. Todavía no sé qué meter en ella.
Ya pensaré en algo.

11- Dispensador de discos de algodón, de BIC.
Tiene una tapa en la parte superior para meter los discos y una abertura en la parte inferior para poder sacarlos.



Esto no tiene nada que ver con el maquillaje, pero os lo enseño también.

12- Calendario París 2014.
Cuando estuvimos en París, pensé haber comprado un calendario de esos con fotografías chulas, pero para cuando quise darme cuenta, ya estábamos en el avión de vuelta.
Marox tomó nota (como siempre) y me lo regaló por Navidad.

Esto último está relacionado con la costura.

13- Etiquetas para prendas.
Además éstas están personalizadas, con el mensaje y el dibujo que Marox decidió.
Las compró en eBay y están hechas para ir dobladas a la mitad.
Ya las he estrenado. He puesto la primera en la funda para el e-reader de Marox que le he regalado estas navidades.

Bueno, esto es todo de momento.
Como veis, este año Papá Noel y los Reyes Magos han venido bien cargaditos de cosas.
Se ve que he sido muy buena, jeje.

Marox has already shown you her Christmas presents, so now it's my turn.

Almost all my Christmas gifts were from Marox, and I ll show you those at the end of this post.

Let's start with the ones from my parents.

I've also been given money, as Marox, which is always a good thing and could be well spent  to treat oneself to a little something at the sales (or maybe not).

Let's go now with the rest of the gifts.

1- Wool gloves, from Santacana.
They're black (which is great as they'll match anything), made of leather on the outer part (with super cute polka dots), and warm wool on the inner side.
They're made in Spain (which is quite strange nowadays that almost everything comes from China).
They're special in the sense that you can use either your smartphone or any other touch screen with them on (tested).
They will be great to cope with the cold weather here in Burgos.

2- Sandwich/grill/waffle maker, from Silvercrest (sold at Lidl).
I wasn't expecting this gift, to be honest, but it seems my mother has read my mind, because she knows how much I like sandwiches for dinner.
So she knows that I'm going to make the most of this 3in1 kitchen tool that she gave me.
As for the waffle maker, I've already used it.
I looked up some waffle recipes on the net (well, actually Marox did) to make the batter with the Thermomix (though you can make it without it, obviously).
They're so yummy. I'll try to show you the next batch of waffles I make.



When I went to Yves Rocher to buy most of the things I gave for Christmas, I redeemed one of the coupons they had sent me by mail. I could thus benefit from their special offers and gifts, as it happened this time.

3- Make-up remover lotion.
Great idea, because I had run out of the make-up remover oil from Deliplus.
I've already tried it, and it really does what it claims. A small amount is enough to remove all the make-up. However, I always complete my cleansing routine by washing my face with soap, regardless of the product I'm using.

4- Face lotion.
After taking off my make-up and washing my face, I apply this product, which leaves my face moisturized. A small amount (the size of an almond) is enough, I then rub my hands and I apply it onto my skin.



These products come in a bottle of 200ml each. Considering they're gifts, it's more than OK.

And now I'm going to show you the things Marox gave me.

5- 'Collagen Moistfull' eye cream from Etude House.
Marox always plays it safe when buying gifts, and she knew that I needed one of these.
I have not used it yet. I have to remove the seal, and as I'm always in a hurry...

6- Mattifying compact powder, from Innisfree.
As I liked the compact powder from Essence that Marox bought for herself some time ago, she took a mental note and gave me this from Innisfree.
I haven't used it yet, because I'm using my loose powder, which I'm afraid will take me quite a long time to use up.
I did touch the sponge to apply them, and it's ultra soft.
Maybe I'll use it when travelling.



With these two things, 4 small samples were included. I haven't tried them yet. It's one of those things that are handy when travelling.



Let's continue with other face products.

7- Red wine and green clay face masks from Apivita.
Unlike the one Marox gave me for my birthday, which was a 'peel-off' mask and had to be prepared by adding water, these ones are ready to use.
Although the sachets are small, they contain enough product for more than a single use, as usual.
I haven't tried them yet, because I don't want to have many products 'opened'.
I'll do it when I'm done with what I'm using now.

And the gift that comes next really, really suits me.

8- Tangle-teezer-type brush from Buyincoins: To detangle hair easily. I haven't tried the original, so I cannot really say whether this is better or worse, though I suppose it will do the job. I'll let you know.



As if I didn't have enough brushes already...

9 - Smudge brush: It's no. 224, but not from MAC. It's another BIC (Buyincoins) brush. The bristles are very soft, which is all I can say about it as of today.

10- Make-up storage box, also from BIC: I don't know what I'll put in it yet, but surely something will come to my mind.





11- Cotton pad dispenser/storage box, from BIC: The top part comes with a lid to slide the pads in and an opening at the bottom to get them out.

This following item is not make-up related, but I'm showing it to you as well.

12- Paris 2014 calendar.
When we were in Paris, I thought of buying one of this kind of calendars with beautiful pics, but finally I forgot it. When I realized, we were on our flight back to home.
Marox caught the idea (as usual) and gave it to me for Christmas.

And this last present is sewing-related.

13 - Clothes labels: These are customized, per Marox's request with both a message and an image. She got them off Ebay and are designed to be folded in half, as a loop.
Have used them already. I put the first one on the E-reader bed pocket I made for marox this Xmas.

Well, that was all for now.
As you can see, both Santa and the Three Wise Men came laden with presents.
I must have been a good girl, I guess.

Mis regalos de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts.

Hola, chicas:

En esta entrada os voy a enseñar mis regalos de cumpleaños..., sólo los de Marox, que ha decidido adelantármelos... porque sabía que ya los tenía todos comprados y me he puesto muy pesada. Además, así os los podía enseñar en esta entrada.
Ya vais a ver que son un montón.
Además, como siempre, ha pensado en todo, y es que capta como nadie las indirectas, jeje (no como yo, que me lo tienen que dar mascado y migado).

1. Cepillo eléctrico Oral B Trizone 500.
Tanto Marox como nuestra madre están encantadas con los suyos, así que pensaron que sería también un buen regalo para mí.
Y la verdad es que ha acertado de pleno, porque estoy encantada. La diferencia con los cepillos manuales es notable. Deja una mayor sensación de limpieza... en menos tiempo.
Lo compró en Amazon.



2. Mascarilla facial de Apivita.
Todavía no la he estrenado, pero tiene buena pinta. El formato es en polvo, que se ha de mezclar con agua. Creo que la dejaré para cuando se me acabe la de Montagne Jeunesse. La compró en la farmacia que hay al lado de mi casa.

3. Mochila para guardar la cámara réflex, que me vendrá estupenda para nuestro próximo viaje a Europa (todavía no os decimos dónde, ya lo sabréis en su momento). La compró en Buyincoins.
Caben perfectamente la cámara montada y otro objetivo. En otro compartimento puedo meter el cargador, la batería adicional, y algún que otro filtro (he metido el polarizador y el ND, aunque seguro que luego no los utilizo, porque me pasa siempre). En un pequeño compartimento lateral puedo meter las tarjetas de memoria.
Dentro de la mochila venían además, un protector para la lluvia (muy útil), y una correa para el cuello para la cámara, que de momento no usaré.
¿En qué se diferencia esta mochila de la que ya tenía? Pues en que esta es mucho más manejable al ser más pequeña, y que la puedo llevar hacia adelante, a la vista. Esto es muy importante cuando se va a sitios donde hay muchas aglomeraciones de turistas. Ya se sabe: donde hay turistas, hay carteristas. No me haría ninguna gracia que por llevar la mochila a la espalda, me la rajaran y se llevaran todo lo que hay dentro. Me daría un pampurrio.



4. Exfoliante labial de TonyMoly.
El packaging es precioso, ¿no os parece?, con esos morritos tan sugerentes, jeje.
Con el exfoliante labial venían estas muestritas.
Se lo compró al vendedor cosmeticmarket2012 y el envío tardó 10 días en llegar.  

5. Set de minitallas de productos antimanchas, de Sulwhasoo.
Como sabe que se me ha terminado la crema de GoodSkin Labs, pues eso, que se ha encargado de reponerme el tocador. ¿No es un encanto?
Con el set de minitallas, vinieron además, estas muestritas, y también una cinta para el pelo hecha a mano.
El nombre del vendedor es forthefairestsophia y suele ofrecer este kit en puja (que marox no ganó, por lo que optó por la opción 'Compra ahora'). Vino muy bien protegido, tardó 13 días y el vendedor lo marcó como regalo y por un tercio de su precio.




 
6. Top coat de Poshé.
Había leído muy buenas reseñas de este producto, y la verdad es que le tenía muchas ganas, aunque todavía me queda Seche Vite.
Por lo visto, el top coat de Poshé tiene menos productos nocivos.
No sé si esperar a que se me acabe el Seche Vite, o probarlo antes. Así, os podría hacer una comparativa. Ya veré qué hago.
El vendedor es nailswestcom,  tardó 11 días en llegar y lo marcó por la mitad de su valor.

In this post I'll be showing you my birthday presents... from Marox, who was kind enough to give them to me in advance after much persuasion, because I knew she had got them all already. That way, I'd be able to share them with you too.
You'll see it's quite a lot of stuff. Besides, she's given them a lot of thought, even keeping her ears open for any hints, lol -unlike me, who needs to be spoonfed with not-so-casual comments.

 1- Trizone 500 Oral B electric toothbrush: Both marox and our mum are over the moon with theirs, so they thought I could do with my own. It was a hit, if you ask me. The difference with manual brushes is overwhelming. Your teeth are much cleaner... in no time. Got it from Amazon.

2- Apivita peel-off mask. Haven't used it yet, but looks cool. It comes in a powder that needs to be mixed with water. I think I'll save this to try it once I've used up the Montagne Jeunesse one. She bought it from the Chemist's next door from my home.



3 - Rucksack for my DSLR camera, which will be great for our next trip to Europe (now we're not telling you where, you'll know it soon). She bought it at Buyincoins.
Both my camera (mounted) and the zoom lens fit perfectly. In another compartment I can put the battery charger, another battery, and some filters (I've put the C-PL [circular polarizer], and the ND [neutral density] ones, although I won't probably use them, because that tends to happen to me quite often). Thre's a small side compartment where I can put my SD cards.
Within the rucksack, a rain cover (very useful, btw), and a neck strap for my camera (which I won't be using for the time being) were also included. 
So, what is the difference between this new rucksack and the one that I already have? Well, this new one is much more handy due to its smaller size, and I can carry it in front, in plain sight. This is very important when you travel to very touristy places. You know the saying: where there are tourists, there are pickpockets.
It wouldn't be funny carrying a rucksack at the back, and getting my things stolen if they cut it open. I would surely have a fit.

4. Lip scrub by TonyMoly.
The packaging is super cute, don't you think so?, with those hot lips, lol.
The seller also included the samples pictured below. Got it from cosmeticmarket2012 and shipping took 10 days.

5. Trial-sized set of anti dark spot products, from Sulwhasoo.
As she knew that I had already used up my dark spot remover cream from GoodSkin Labs, she has restocked my dresser. She's great, isn't she?
Within the package, these samples and a hand-made hair band were included.
Seller's name is forthefairestsophia and usually offers this kit in bids (which marox didn't win) but marox got it as a 'Buy it Now' deal. 
The sample kit was very carefully bubblewrapped. Shipping took 13 days and the seller marked it as a gift and for a third of its value.






6. Poshé top coat.
I'd read very favourable reviews of this product, and I really was willing to get my greedy hands on it, although I haven't used up my bottle of Seche Vite yet.
As far as I know, the ingredients of Poshé's topcoat are less harmful.
I don't know whether I'll wait until I use up my Seche Vite or if I will try it before that in order to test it. That way, I could make a comparison. I don't know, we'll see.
Seller's name is nailswestcom and shipping took 11 days. The declared value was half the total amount.
