Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2021 (IV)

Hola, chicas: Aquí venimos a enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.   1 - Desodorante 0% Deliplus: No nos gustó demasiado este desodorante de los supermercados Mercadona y creo que lo tiramos cuando aún quedaba un poco.    2 - Champú Nature's Gate (Vitacost): Comprado hace un montón de tiempo. Solemos tener varios champús en la ducha y yo suelo hasta mezclarlos en un mismo lavado o usar uno distinto para un segundo lavado y por eso nos lleva un tiempo terminarlo. Me gusta que tenga el dispensador, aunque sale caro pedirlos por los gastos de envío desde Estados Unidos. Habréis observado que hace mucho que ya no hemos vuelto a hacer pedido... entre que nos apetece probar cosas / tiendas online y los regalos de las revistas... 3- Perfume "Britney Spears- Intimate Edition" (Marian). Me lo regaló Marox, como casi siempre, y fue otro acierto, sin duda. Tiene una fragancia floral que me encanta, y ha sido un éxito entre mis compañeras de trabajo. Creo que lo compró en Perfumes Club, tienda que da cashback con plataformas como *Beruby* o *Shoppiday*.  4 - Mascarilla de biocelulosa 'Pure & Care' de Primaprix: Lo cierto es que la compré y luego con el confinamiento, he descuidado mi piel y se me caducó, pero la he usado sin problema. Viene muy impregnada y usé el serum sobrante, guardado en la nevera, en días sucesivos.  Cuesta sólo 0,95€ y por ese precio, merece mucho la pena.      5 - Gel de ducha de té verde de The Body Shop: Vino con una revista y no suelo dejar pasar las colaboraciones con The TBS. Tiene un olor suave y muy agradable, es bastante concentrado, tanto que para poderlo aprovechar bien le añadí un poco de agua. Bien, esto ha sido todo por el momento. Ya nos diréis qué os han parecido estos terminados.

Hi girls, Here we are again to show you our latest empties.   1 - Deliplus aluminium-free deodorant: We didn't like this product from Mercadona supermarkets own brand very much and I think we threw it away when there was still some product left.   2 - Vitacost Shampoo: I bought this a lifetime ago. We usually have several shampoos on rotation and even combine them as I'm washing my hair or use a different one for a second wash, so that explains why it takes us so long to show Empties from stuff we shared with you a good while ago. I like the fact that it comes with a pump dispenser, though considering shipping costs from the States, it's not as cheap ordering as I would like. You may have noticed it's been a couple years since we last posted a Haul from a store overseas. And then there's the fact that every now and then we want to try out new stuff or other online stores, plus the fact that I seem to be hoarding magazine freebies lately...   3- 'Britney Spears- Intimate Edition' fragrance (Marian). It was another gift from Marox, and she succeeded, as usual. It has a floral scent that I love. So do my workmates. I think she ordered this off PerfumesClub, a shop partnered with cashback sites such as *Beruby* and *Shoppiday*.   4 - Biocellulose sheet mask 'Pure & Care' from Primaprix: I bought this and then, with lockdown my skincare routine went out the window and it expired. I used it all the same without any issues. It comes soaked in serum and I used what was left of it, refrigerated, over the course of a few days.   It is only €0.95 and I highly recommend it.  5 -  Fuji Green Tea Shower Gel from The Body Shop: This was a magazine freebie quite a while ago. I really like the brand, so I'm always eager to get my hands on their products. The scent is subtle and nice and the gel is concentrated enough for me to add some water towards the end so I could use it up all the way through. Well, this is all for now. Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2021 (I).

Hola, chicas: Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente. 1- Mascarilla de arcilla azul de Sephora (Marian). Me ha encantado este formato. Se aprovecha muchísimo. Pone que da para 4 usos, pero yo he tenido para muchísimos más. ¿Quizá 40? No sé si tantos, pero desde luego bastantes más de 4. 2- Mascarilla de miel de manuka de Sephora (Marian). Es una mascarilla de tisú, que viene impregnada de sérum. Con este tipo de mascarillas me suelen salir granos después; con ésta sólo me brillaba un poco la frente, así que fenomenal. Después, he estado usando el sérum una vez a la semana tras mi rutina de limpieza. Como véis en la foto, Molly no se pudo aguantar las ganas de olisquear y ver qué me traía entre manos. 3 - Espuma ducha de Rituals Hammam Delight, con eucalipto y romero (marox): Vino hace un montón de tiempo con alguna revista. Me ha durado mucho porque la teníamos en nuestra otra casa. Las colaboraciones que la marca hace con las revistas españolas son una buena oportunidad de hacerse con ellas. Me gustan, pero creo que no pagaría el precio de venta habiendo opciones agradables que cunden más. Tengo aquí al menos otra diferente para usar.  4 - Bálsamo labial Biocura - Aldi: Son nuestros bálsamos favoritos, por precio y calidad. Vienen en un paquete de 3 y creo que cuestan 2 euros. Dependiendo de la época, tienen una gama estándar o algún 'sabor' como miel, granada... Siempre que vamos a Aldi, que no es muy a menudo, compramos. Son ideales para llevar en el bolso, tener por casa, etc. Estos han sido nuestros terminados por ahora. ¿Habéis probado alguno? Contadnos abajo, en los comentarios. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls, Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties'. 1- Blue clay mask from Sephora (Marian). I love this kind of packaging, because you can make the most of it.  In theory, this is supposed to be used up to 4 times, but I got a lot more uses than that. Maybe 40? Well, maybe not that much, but way more than just 4. 2- Manuka honey mask from Sephora (Marian).   It's a sheet mask that comes drenched in essence. With these masks, I usually break out afterwards. but with this one my forehead only got a bit shiny, so great. I've been using the leftover essence once a week after my cleansing routine. As you can tell from the pic, Molly couldn't help herself and had to sniff out and see what I was up to.  3 - Hammam Delight Rituals Shower Foam with eucalyptus and rosemary (marox): This was an old magazine freebie it's taken me really long to use up because it was in our second home. Brands teaming up with beauty magazines are a great chance to get your hands on splurge items such as these. I like them, but I wouldn't pay the retail price for them, considering there are other spa-like options that are more affordable and that will give you more uses.   I still have at least one more Rituals shower foam to use here.   4 - Biocura - Aldi Lipbalm: These are our favourite balms, price and quality wise. They come in a pack of 3 and I believe they retail at €2. Depending on the season, you may get a standard selection or find other scents like honey and pomegranate. Every time we go to Aldi -not that often- we always get some. They're excellent to carry around in your bag, have at home, etc. These have been our 'empties' so far. Have you tried any? Compras varias / Sundry Haul 2020 (VI)

Hola chicas   Hoy os traemos una entrada con compritas variadas que hemos hecho recientemente. Como ya habréis notado, Blogger ha cambiado la interfaz, así que veréis distintas probatinas -dentro de lo poco que sabemos hacer-.    1 - Revista Woman octubre (marox): Ya sabéis que cuando las revistas traen algo interesante, suelo picar.  En esta ocasión, la colaboración era con Benefit y venían 2 máscaras de pestañas diferentes. En otras ocasiones me he hecho con la Roller Lash y creo que nunca había probado la They're Real. Precio: 4,99€      2 - Revista Elle + Elle Decoración octubre (marox): Traía una minitalla del aceite de Nuxe, que nunca he tenido ocasión de probar. En mi caso, me ha tocado la versión floral -que es la que quería. Lo poco que lo he probado -en la piel-  me ha gustado, el olor es genial y no es nada... aceitoso. Sé que en algunos sitios han venido 3 revistas en el pack en total (con Esquire) Precio: 4,95€   3 - Base para uñas 9 en 1 de Revuele: Echando un vistazo al cajón donde tengo los esmaltes de uñas, recordé una base que usé en verano que estaba para tirar, así que he comprado ésta para sustituirla. Precio: 1.75€ en Primaprix. Por cierto, que no tenían muchas donde elegir esta vez.  4 - Desodorante Dove sin fragancia: También de Primaprix, por 1.60€. Aunque no contiene fragancia, sí que tiene aluminio, del que normalmente solemos huir. Pero hay días en los que nos queremos asegurar de oler bien, así que lo reservamos exclusivamente para ocasiones muy puntuales.       5 - Revista Glamour pocket, noviembre 2020 (marox): Por 2,50€ me pareció bien hacerme con el regalo que traía, un gel de TBS que ya he probado.  De lo que salía este mes, de momento es lo único que he encontrado. Sé que en otras ciudades ha venido con otros regalos (cremas de manos o mantecas de TBS, por ejemplo). 6 - Revista Instyle, noviembre 2020 (marox): Venía con 2 productos de Essence por 4,50€, en mi caso la máscara de pestañas y un labial. La otra opción era un brillo de labios mate que me habría encantado probar. Para el mes que viene anuncian espuma de Rituals (nueva) de regalo, así que quizá caiga. En diciembre nos bombardearán a agendas, que a mí no me hacen gracia.        7 - Ampollas anticaída de Revuele: Las compré en Primaprix, pero por lo que he visto en Internet las tienen a muy bien precio en tiendas como Primor.  Las tenían en una promoción de 2x1 a 4,95€. De momento, sólo he probado una.  Me quedan ampollas de L'Oreal aún -que por cierto, me encanta el aplicador con roll-on y lo uso con otras-, pero me ha parecido buena idea intercalarlas. Así aportamos distintos beneficios a nuestro cuero cabelludo. No sé el vuestro, pero el mío está muy necesitado. Esto ha sido todo por ahora.  Hasta pronto.

Hi ladies,    Today we have an assorted post, with different stuff we got recently. As you may have noticed, Blogger has recently implemented some changes to the interface, so you'll see us testing out different stuff. Not that we are too blog-savvy, mind you. 1 - Woman magazine, October issue (marox): You know me, if magazines have nice freebies, I'll try to get them. This month they teamed up with Benefit and came out with 2 different mascaras. Since other times I got the Roller Lash one, I was happy to find They're Real instead for a change. Price: €4.99 2 - Elle + Elle Decor, October issue (marox): The freebie was a mini of the famous Nuxe dry oil that I'd never had the chance to try. I got the Floral version, which is the one I wanted anyway. I've only tested it briefly on my skin and so far, so good. The scent is really lovely and the product doesn't feel... oily. Some areas got 3 different magazines in the bundle (including Esquire). Price: €4.95 3 - 9in1 Revuele Basecoat: Digging through my polish stash here I noticed I used a base in summer that wasn't good to use anymore, as it was all gooey and dry. This will replace it. Price: €1.75 at Primaprix. By the way, this time they didn't have a lot of basecoats to choose from.      4 - Dove fragrance-free deodorant: Also from Primaprix, for €1.60. It does have aluminium, an ingredient we normally stay away from. We'll save this for special occasions, those times you need to make sure you don't stink.   5 - Glamour pocket edition, November 2020 issue (marox): For €2.50 it was a decent deal and a chance to get my hands on this TBS shower gel again.  From all the issues that looked worth it, this is the only one I saw so far. I know other cities got entirely different freebies, such as TBS hand creams or body butters and stuff from other brands altogether. 6 - Instyle magazine, November 2020 issue (marox): This month's freebie was 2 Essence products for €4.50. I got the bundle with the mascara and the lipstick. The third option was a matte lipgloss that I'd love to try. Next month they've announced a new Rituals shower foam as a freebie. I may get it, rather than the endless list of planners December issues usually bring and that I find rather meh.       7 - Revuele Hair-loss ampoules: I bought them from Primaprix, but I've seen them around on the Internet at Primor -even better priced, I believe-. In my store they had a BOGO for €4.95.  I've only tried one so far.  I still have some from L'Oreal left -by the way, I love their roll-on applicator and use it with other brands-, but I thought it'd be a good thing to alternate. That way our scalp can get the most of these products and don't know about you, but my scalp is in need of some TLC. This is all for now. See you around.

Productos Terminados / Finito Products 2020 (VI)

Hola, chicas:   Parece que poco a poco se va instalando el frío entre nosotros, al menos por Castilla. Así que coged una mantita y pasad con nosotras unas minutos, leyendo sobre nuestros últimos terminados.   1 - Gel argán TBS: Me hice con este gel gracias a una revista, probablemente Glamour, hace unos meses. Con muy poca cantidad cunde. Nos ha gustado mucho a las 2. De esta linea únicamente había probado un bálsamo labial en formato latita. Me gustaría probar la manteca corporal correspondiente, así que ojalá vuelvan las revistas a hacer colaboraciones de este tipo para hacernos con más productos. Gracias a estas colaboraciones, suelo tener solucionadas las 'potiduchas'. Tengo otros 2 por gastar, de otros números de la revista, el último vino con la edición mini, así que salió todavía más a cuenta que éste, que vino con el tamaño grande de la revista. 2 - Desodorante Sanex 0%: Lo compramos en Primaprix, donde solemos comprar este tipo de cosas últimamente. Nos ha gustado mucho y aunque no lo hemos vuelto a ver, lo tendremos en cuenta para el futuro. 3 - Mascarilla tissú Sephora de té verde (marox): Compré esta mascarilla en rebajas, como podéis ver y he tardado algo en usarla. Es de las que tenéis que retirar una capa antes de ponerla.  Con estas mascarillas suele sobrar esencia: yo suelo guardar el sobrante en la nevera y me suele dar para un par de usos. Hacedlo con precaución, eso sí.     4 - Exfoliante 'Fortune Scrub' de Rituals: Vino con una revista hace una eternidad. Llevaba tiempo en mmi ducha pero lo usé mucho al principio y luego rarara vez me acordaba de él. Eso sí, es muy agradable de usar, no está suspendido en aceite como otro que tengo a medias en formato tarro. Aunque suelo ser partidaria de los tarros por aquello de que se aprovechan más los productos, en este caso prefiero este tipo de exfoliante, pero por la fórmula en sí.      5 - Mousse rizos Deliplus: Ya no está a la venta desde hace tiempo. Me gustaba mucho en su momento, pero desde que empezamos a usar el Potion 9 la usábamos esporádicamente. La última vez que intenté usarla la textura había cambiado, así que a la basura sin dudarlo.    6 - Base para uñas 'Better than Gel Nails' de Essence: Siempre ha sido una de mis favoritas, especialmente teniendo en cuenta su precio. Ésta estaba en nuestra segunda casa y la pobre está toda pastosa, así que se va a la basura. Esto ha sido todo por el momento. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls,   It's slowly getting colder, at least here in Castille. So cozy up and spend a few minutes reading about  our latest 'empties'.   1 - TBS Argan Oil shower gel: I got my hands on this shower gel as a magazine freebie, most likely with Glamour, a few months ago. A little really goes a long way with this. We liked it very much. The only product I'd tried from their argan line was a lip balm in a tin jar. I'd love to try the body butter, so fingers crossed that they'll partner again with the brand so I can test other stuff too. Thanks to these collabs, my 'pleasure showers' are taken care of. I still have another 2 left, from different lines. They came with other issues, the last one with the pocket edition which is an even better deal than this was. 2 - Sanex 0% Deodorant: We bought this at Primaprix outlet supermarket, where we tend to get all this stuff lately. We liked it a lot and although we haven't seen it again there, we'll keep an eye on it for a future visit.     3 - Sephora Green Tea Sheet Mask (marox): I bought this at a sale, as you can see, but it's taken me a while to use it. It does have a protective layer you need to peel off before you put it on. As with most sheet masks, there is leftover essence, so I keep them in the fridge and the remaining product is enough for a couple uses. Do this at your own risk, though. 4 - Rituals 'Fortune Scrub': This was a magazine freebie, a lifetime ago. It's been in my shower for a really long time. Long story short: used it often at first but then sort of forgot about it. It is really nice to use, though, it isn't an oil-based scrub like another I have in use that comes in a tub. Although I normally go for products that come in a tub, I'd rather get this, but not because of the format but the formula itself.    5 - Styling mousse for curly hair from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): It's no longer available and hasn't been in a while. I loved it back then, but ever since we switched to Potion9 I used it once in a blue moon. Last time I tried to do so, the texture was really funky, so it goes straight into our dustbin.      6 -  Essence 'Better than Gel Nails' base sealer: It's always been one of my favourites, especially considering how affordable it is. This was in our second home and it was all gooey, so I had to throw it away.   This is all for now. See you around.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products (V)

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.

1 - Manteca corporal de karité de TBS (marox): Me hice con esta manteca gracias a una revista, aunque ya la habría probado antes.
A pesar de ser de karité, no es de las más hidratantes que he probado de la marca (almendra y moringa).
Estas mantecas están bien si nos hacemos con ella a buen precio.

2- Aceite capilar de Kerastase (Marian).
Fue uno de nuestros hallazgos de mercadillo. Lo uso después de lavarme el cabello. Echo muy poquita cantidad en la palma de la mano, froto las manos y lo reparto por el pelo, sobre todo en las puntas.
Deja el pelo con mucho brillo.


3 - Desodorante Desert Essence de limón y árbol de té: Compré este desodorante hace ya tiempo y lo teníamos en nuestra otra casa. Marian lo intentó usar un par de veces, pero le irritaba la piel. Yo lo he podido aprovechar algo más, pero hacia el final parecía que también me irritaba un poco. No sé si es que al llevar ya un tiempo abierto estaba mal o qué. Puesto que últimamente estamos usando desodorantes sin aluminio de supermercado (Primaprix, principalmente), no repetiremos con éstos.
Lo compré en Vitacost o iHerb.

4 - Mini manteca Berry Bon Bon (y Moringa) de TBS: La primera (en la foto), la he podido terminar sin problema. La tenía en un neceser de viaje y la rescaté. Me daba miedo que se echara a perder. Por desgracia, es lo que me ha pasado con la de moringa. Mea culpa. Huele tan bien que me daba pena que se me gastara... y tonta de mí, he tenido que tirar lo que quedaba porque olía rancio. ¿Os pasan estas cosas?
La de frutos rojos vino con una revista, la otra la compramos aprovechando una promoción 3X2 en una tienda física que compramos en un viaje.

5 - Leche corporal hidratante de almendras MySkin. Creo que era la marca propia de los antiguos supermercados El Arbol, así que con eso ya os hacéis una idea del tiempo que hace que la compramos (la compró nuestra madre, a decir verdad). Estaba también en la otra casa y aprovechando las vacaciones, la hemos terminado.
Aunque lleva parafina líquida, ingrediente del que suelo huir, lo cierto es que hidrataba bien la piel. El dispensador no funcionaba muy bien, eso sí.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 - Shea TBS Body Butter (marox): I got my hands on this thanks to a magazine, although I'd used it before.
Despite this being based on shea, it isn't among their most moisturizing ones (those being the almond and moringa, in my experience).
These body butters are worth it as long as you can get them for cheap.

2 - Kerastase Hair Oil (Marian): It was one of our street market finds. I use it after washing my hair, only a small amount. Then I rub my hands together and spread it on my hair, specially the ends.
My hair looks very shiny.

 

3 - Desert Essence lemon tea tree deodorant: I bought this quite a while ago and it was at our second home. Marian used it a couple of times until it gave her a rash. I was able to use it longer, but eventually, it started to irritate my skin too. I don't whether it has to do with the fact that it had been in use for quite a while and had gone off or what. Considering that lately we've been sticking to aluminium-free brands available locally (namely, at Primaprix discount supermarket), we won't repurchase in the future.
I ordered this from Vitacost or iHerb.

4 - TBS mini body butters in Berry Bon Bon and Moringa: I was able to finish the former (pictured), which I had in a travel toiletry bag. I was afraid it would go bad and 'rescued' it from oblivion. Unfortunately, that's exactly what happened to the latter. My bad. The TBS Moringa line smells so friggin' good that I am always sad to use it up and kept saving it for special occasions or getaways. Silly me. I had to throw the rest of it away because it did go bad. Does this ever happen to you?
The former was a magazine freebie and the latter was bought as part of a 3X2 deal at a brick and mortar shop that we bought on some holiday.

 
5 - Almond Body Milk, MySkin. I believe this was the store brand of a Spanish supermarket chain that went out of business, El Arbol. That gives you a good idea of the fact this has been with us for a while. It was in our second home too and since we got to spend some time there we made it a point to use it up.  
It contains paraffinum liquidum, an ingredient I stay away from -our mum got this-, but to be honest, this did a decent job at moisturizing our skin, though the pump dispenser wasn't very good.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.

1- Perfume Lalique: Se ha terminado tanto mi frasco como el que le regalé a mi madre. Nos ha gustado muchísimo, pero sí que hemos notado que cuando queda como la mitad del frasco el olor no es tan intenso ni perdura tanto. Lo compré en *Notino* a ciegas (tras leer reseñas en *Fragantica*) y ha sido todo un descubrimiento. Que sepamos, no la venden en las perfumerías españolas, por lo que no es un perfume que la gente conozca y esté trillado.



2- Desodorante en barra Lactovit 0% sales de aluminio (Marian).
Me ha gustado mucho este desodorante. Protege bien, y no me ha irritado la piel.
No descarto repetir con él.

3- Desodorante en barra Queen Helene Aloe Vera (Marian).
No lo he llegado a terminar, porque cada vez que lo usaba, me picaban las axilas. Con otros de la marca no me ha ocurrido, pero de momento no repetiré, teniendo otras opciones.



4 - Espuma de ducha Cien Lidl (marox):Seguro que recordáis esta colección que sacó Lidl hace ya algún tiempo. Había 2 lineas diferentes, que recordaban a los productos de Rituals. Si bien los olores no están para nada tan logrados como los de Rituals, el precio es mucho más ajustado. Lo que más me ha gustado es que el dispensador no suelta un chorro a toda caña al principio, sino que lo hace de forma controlada, algo que no me pasa con los de Rituals.
De momento no me haré con ninguna espuma más. Prefiero formatos más ecológicos.

5- Manteca corporal de coco de The Body Shop (Marian).
Ya sabéis que el olor a coco me encanta, así que esta manteca no podía ser menos.
Es muy hidratante y agradable de usar, como todas las de la marca.
Ésta vino de regalo con una revista.

Bien, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 -  Lalique EdP: I finished my own bottle and so did our mum hers. We truly loved this, but we did notice that by the time you get to the middle of the bottle the scent is not as strong or lasting on the skin. It was a somewhat blind purchase off *Notino* (though I did read quite a lot of reviews on *Fragantica*) and has been an excellent discovery. It's not available at any Spanish drugstore that we are aware of, so it's not a fragrance people know or are sick to death of.

2 - Lactovit 0% aluminium salts stick deodorant (Marian). I really liked this one. It keeps you odour-free and didn't irritate my skin. I don't rule out getting it again.



3 - Queen Helene Aloe Vera deodorant stick (Marian): I didn't really use it up, because it stang my armpits. It's never happened to me using others from this brand, but considering I now have other choices I won't get those either.

4- Cien shower foam from Lidl (marox): You may remember this collection that Lidl released some time ago. They had two different lines that were very reminiscent of Rituals. Although the scents are nowhere near as enticing as the latter, you can get these for a fraction of the price.
What I liked best was the fact that the pump dispenser does not shoot out product like Rituals do at the beginning. It comes out nicely instead.
I won't get any more foams for the time being, as I prefer more environmentally-friendly formats.



5- Coconut body butter from The Body Shop (Marian).
You already know that I love coconut scented stuff, so this body butter is right up my alley.
It's very moisturizing and pleasant to use, just like all the ones from this brand.
This was  a magazine freebie some time ago.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2020 (I)

Esperamos que vosotras y vuestras familias estéis bien. Ya llevamos dos semanas de confinamiento y todavía nos queda un tiempo. Seamos positivos y pensemos en que cada día que pase es un día menos.

Yo he estado aprovechando esta mañana para leer un poco. Y ayer me cené un bocata de sardinas que me supo a gloria bendita. Hay que disfrutar de los pequeños placeres en estos días tan extraños, ¿verdad?.


1 - Perfiladores automáticos azules de Essence: Se me terminó el que estaba utilizando y como donde estoy trabajando este año no he visto que vendan cosas de Essence, se lo encargué a mi hermana.
Como no se decidía, me compró dos, uno en el tono '09 Cool Down' -como el que se me terminó-  y otro en el tono '26 Deep-Sea Baby'. Me temo que no tengo foto.

2 - Revista Cosmopolitan enero 2020: Cuando ya había perdido la esperanza de hacerme con ella, la encontré en un supermercado Alcampo -antes Simply.
Como véis, traía una minitalla del famoso minimizador de poros de Benefit.

3 -  Revista Glamour febrero 2020: Yo creo que fue la revista estrella del mes, al menos en cuanto a regalos se refiere. Que yo sepa, llegó a todas las ciudades sin excepción -no como otras, que sólo traen regalo bueno en unas ciudades y en otras nada de nada o algo de menos valor y calidad.
Debo decir que el formato de la revista ha cambiado... para peor. Las entrevistas se limitan a pies de foto gigantes, supongo que ideales para analfabetos funcionales y/o millennials muy ocupados. Más les vale traer buenos regalos, porque me temo que por el contenido, no van a conseguir demasiadas ventas.
El regalo, que imagino que ya habréis visto por otros lares, es una hidratante facial con vitamina E de The Body Shop que cuesta 18€ en tienda.




4 - Revista InStyle marzo 2020 (marox): Fue también la revista estrella del mes. Tengo entendido que en algunos sitios se vendía por 1€ más. Afortunadamente yo me he hecho con ella por 4,95€, como véis. Traía un suplemento de arquitectura y diseño muy interesante, bastante caro.




5 - Revista Glamour marzo 2020 (marox): De no ser por el regalo, creo que ahora mismo nadie compraría la revista. Continúa esa línea editorial tan extraña, con fotos borrosas, tipos de letra difíciles de entender y entrevistas que se reducen a pies de foto o que están escritas con una orientación diferente del papel.
A lo que vamos, aquí en Burgos la edición pequeña ha llegado con las cremas de manos grandes de The Body Shop. En el supermercado donde la compré, eran casi todas de cáñamo -que vale 13€ en tienda-, que aunque hidrata muy bien el olor no es muy de mi agrado. Rebuscando un poco vi que tenían una de karité y ésta de rosas, ambas a la venta en tienda por 12€.
Las que han venido en ediciones anteriores han sido adoptadas con mucho entusiasmo en casa y ésta fue donada al hogar familiar con gusto por este motivo.
Sé que con tanto lavarnos las manos, les han venido muy bien a mis padres.

6 - Revista Glamour abril 2020 (marox): De no haber sido porque en el supermercado al que hice una escapada tras más de una semana confinada en casa tiene kiosko, no me habría hecho con ella. Vine como una mula de Mercadona y de Alcampo (antes Simply), intentando comprar lo suficiente para no tener que salir de casa, con suerte en algo más de una semana. Aún me duele el hombro de cargar con todo lo que compré.
Fui tan a hecho que ni me fijé si había otras revistas con regalo.
Como ya sabréis, las revistas españolas han tenido una idea estupenda, poner a nuestra disposición de forma gratuita sus publicaciones. A mí me las pasó una compañera por Whatsapp y se lo agradecí mucho. Está bien distraerse con algo que no sea relacionado con la situación que estamos viviendo.
Como véis, la grande trae regalos de Naobay, marca española que ofrece productos en su mayoría orgánicos y veganos a precios razonables. La versión pequeña, en esta ciudad traía otra vez los geles de baño de TBS. Os dejo enlaces de los productos a la web de la marca: *bruma*, *mascarilla* de Naobay y *gel* de TBS.

We hope you and your loved ones are doing well. We've been in lockdown for over two weeks and it seems this will go on for some time. Let's be positive and think that another day stuck inside is another day down.
Did you remember to set clocks forward? I've spent some time this morning reading and last night I made myself a delicious sardine sub. These strange days are the perfect time to enjoy life's simple pleasures, don't you think? 

1 - Essence Automatic Eyeliner Pencils in blue: I used up the one I had and there are no shops where I'm living this year that sell Essence products, so I asked my sister to get it for me.
She couldn't make up her mind about which one to get and bought these two, one in the shade '09 Cool Down' -like the one I'd used up - and the other one in '26 Deep-Sea Baby'. I'm afraid I couldn't take photos of them.

2 - Cosmopolitan magazine, January 2020: I'd lost hope of finding it when I spotted it at a local Alcampo supermarket -formerly Simply-.
It included a travel-sized tube of the famous pore minimizer from Benefit cosmetics, as you can see.

3 - Glamour magazine, February 2020: The Spanish issue of this magazine was that month's best seller. At least when it comes to magazine freebies. As far as I know, it was available nationwide with the same gift -unlike others, that you may or may not get depending on where you live.
I must say the style of this magazine has been given a major makeover and has changed... for the worse. Interviews are limited to a caption, ideal only for functionally illiterate people or busy millennials.
They'd better include nice freebies from now on, because I don't see them getting a lot of revenue based on the magazine alone.
The gift, that you may have seen other Spanish bloggers and YouTubers sharing on social media is the vitamin E face moisturizer from TBS that retails for €18.

4 - InStyle magazine, March issue 2020 (marox): This was the top pick when it came to magazine freebies that month. Shock fact: this retailed at €5.95 in some cities, making it €1 more expensive than what I paid for. For €4.95, it came with a very pricey architecture and design magazine that was nice too.



5 - Glamour magazine, March 2020 issue (marox): Were it not for the freebies, not many people would get this magazine these days. The odd editorial style continues, with blurry pictures, fonts that are en eyesore to work out and interviews that are just captions next to pictures or that have a different page orientation.
Anyway, the pocket edition here brought the large TBS hand creams. The supermarket I bought this from had mostly the hemp ones on display -that retail at €13-, but upon further inspection, I dug others out: the shea  and the rose ones, which is the one I got. They both retail for €12.
The creams that I got from past issues were eagerly adopted at home and this one followed the same fate as well.
I know my parents are putting them to good use now that we have to wash our hands much more thoroughly.

6 - Glamour magazine, April 2020 issue (marox): Were it not for the fact that the supermarket I went grocery shopping after being in lockdown for more than a week has a newsagents section, I wouldn't have got it.
I returned home slogging my guts out with two carrier bags so I don't need to go out again in over a week. My shoulder still hurts from having to carry so much weight.
I dove straight into this magazine and didn't even notice if they had any others worth buying at the supermarket.
Spanish magazine publishers were kind enough to offer a downloadable version of this month's issues for free. I got them through a friend who forwarded those using Whatsapp and it was something I really appreciated. It is nice to take your mind of the gloomy days we're living, even if it's momentarily.
The larger issue contained different Naobay freebies, a Spanish brand that focuses on affordable, mostly organic & vegan products.
The pocket edition in my area included three different TBS shower gels again. Here are the product links: *mist*, *mask*and TBS *gel*.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (VI)

¡Hola chicas!

Ya pasó la nochebuena, ya estamos comiendo turrón y en nada estaremos tomando las uvas y brindando por el nuevo año.
Pero mientras tanto, hoy nos gustaría enseñarnos lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

1 - Revista Glamour, noviembre 2019 (marox): Como no, he vuelto a picar con las cositas de The Body Shop.
El tamaño grande, por 3,50€ trae tres geles de baño en formato de 250ml, que en tienda cuestan 7€. En mi ciudad, la revista pequeña trae cremas de manos en formato grande (me están tentando).
Como véis, de momento he cogido el gel de argán, gama que nunca había probado ya que nunca está rebajada.
Un par de días después cogí el tamaño pequeño, con las cremas. Ahora sí que tengo crema de manos para mí y para toda la familia para una buena temporada: ya tengo todas las que han salido en distintos números de la revista. En tienda cuestan 12€.
Aquí no llegó el pack de la Hola con las cosas de Rituals ni la minitalla del aceite de Nuxe con la Elle Pocket. La máscara de Benefit con la Woman sí, pero no me llamaba mucho la atención por casi 5 euros.



2 -  Mascarillas 'Baby Pet Magic Sheet Mask' de Holika Holika (marox): Las compré, como no, en *Primaprix*. Las tenían junto a la caja, con una promoción de 2x1, puesto que caducaban en noviembre. Por ese motivo, me he llevado las dos por 1,50€.

3 - Perfilador automático de Essence de larga duración, '01 - Black Fever' (marox): Hace poco se me terminó el que tenía de P2, así que como no tengo acceso a la marca, lo he sustituido por éste de Essence, que suelen dar buen resultado. No me gustan los lapiceros tradicionales y siempre busco que sean automáticos. No llegan a 2€, así que por ese precio no se les puede pedir más.

4 - Bálsamo limpiador en textura sorbete de naranja de Aromatica (marox): Me va quedando poco del de ENature y me he decantado por éste, que trae bastante más cantidad, tiene una buena composición y está muy bien de precio. Lo compré, como siempre, por Ebay, en concreto al vendedor *iamloveshop*.



5 - Mascarilla Hair Food Papaya de Garnier: (marox) 5,49€ en supermercados Lupa, aunque quizá la podáis encontrar más barata, pues la venden en muchos sitios.
Se puede utilizar como mascarilla prelavado y sin aclarado. La llevo usando unas cuantas veces y de momento me está gustando.


6 - Revista Glamour grande, diciembre 2019 (marox): Me cogí este tono, que era más ponible que el otro que había llegado al kiosko, un azul muy extraño. El tono es el 'Good Vibes Only' de la colección Neons.
 Lo veréis en una próxima manicura.
La revista tiene un precio de 3,50€ y esta marca aquí en España es bastante cara, así que no está mal. Intenté pillar algún otro tono, pero no vi ninguno que mereciera la  pena.
El tamaño pequeño aquí venía con un *spray de keratina* de laboratorios Valquer, pero contiene alcohol entre los primeros ingredientes, así que lo dejé pasar.

Christmas Eve has gone by and in no time we Spaniards will be having the lucky grapes and toasting for the new year. 
But in the meantime, we'd like to show you what we've bought lately.

1 - Glamour magazine, November 2019 issue (marox): Yes, of course I gave in and got my greedy hands on those The Body Shop freebies.
The larger magazine comes with three different 250ml shower gels for just €3.50, which retail at €7.
The smaller issue, at least here, came with the large hand creams (so tempting...)
As you see, so far I got the Argan one, making it the first time I get to use anything from said line, as it never has a discount.
A couple of days later I grabbed the pocket edition that in my area included a hand cream. I can now safely say that I got enough of those for a good while, not only for myself, but for the whole family. I have all the creams that were available as different freebies. The creams retail at €12.
As for other magazines, the Spanish issue of Hello magazine with the Rituals goodies didn't make it here, nor did Elle Pocket with the mini Nuxe oil.  Woman magazine had a Benefit mascara that did make it here, but at €5 it didn't seem such a bargain.

2 -  Holika Holika 'Baby Pet Magic Sheet Mask' (marox): You guessed it, I got them from... *Primaprix*. They were very sneakily placed beside the checkout and were part of a BOGO deal, since the expiration date was November. That's why I scored this 2 for 1 deal at only €1.50.
Expect to see these again soon in an Empties blogpost.

3 - Essence longlasting automatic Eye Pencil '01 - Black Fever' (marox): I recently used up the P2 one I'd been using and since I cannot repurchase that I got this from Essence. This line works really well and just shy of €2, it is great value for money. I can't stand traditional eye pencils and always go for twist-up ones like these.



4 - Aromatica Orange Cleansing Sherbet (marox): I'm running out of the ENature one I'm currently using and chose this to replace it. It is much bigger than the other, has a good ingredient list and has great bang for your buck. As always, I got it off Ebay, from seller *iamloveshop*.

5 - Hair Food Papaya Garnier Hair Mask (marox): I got this from a local supermarket, Lupa, for €5.49, and you can probably get it for less, as these are widely available.
It can be used as a pre-wash treatment and a leave-in. I've used this a couple of times and so far, so good.



6 - Glamour Spain, December 2019 issue, large (marox):  I picked this shade, as it was more wearable than the other one my newsagent's got, an odd blue shade. It's shade 'Good Vibes Only' from the Neons Collection.
You will soon see it featured in a recent mani.
This month's issue retails at €3.50 and OPI is a high-end brand at a high-end price here in Spain, so it wasn't so bad. I tried to get  another shade, but there was none I liked.
The pocket-sized edition's freebie was *this* keratin spray from Valquer, which contains alcohol quite high on the Inci list, so I let it go.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (V).

Aquí estoy para enseñaros mis últimas compras.

1 - Revista Elle pocket, octubre (marox): Por 1,95 merecía hacerse con ella, puesto que traía un pack de dos esmaltes mini de OPI. El mío venía con cajita, con los nombres de cada esmalte. He visto por Internet que en otros sitios los esmaltes venían únicamente en una bandejita interior de plástico, sin nombres ni nada.
No descarto hacerme con algún ejemplar más, si es que quedan.

2 - Revista Glamour pocket, octubre (marox): Un poquito más cara que la anterior, por 2,50€ teníamos la revista Glamour. La versión grande traía un champú de Yves Rocher, creo recordar. A mí me gustó más el regalo de la versión pequeña, con la minimanteca de The Body Shop. Como véis, yo cogí la de mango, aunque a los kioskos locales llegó también la de Berry BonBon que ya vino en un número anterior.




3 - Perfilador ojos retráctil marrón de Essence, tono #02 Hot Chocolate (marox): Se trata de una reposición, ya que gasté el que estaba usando. Da satisfacción poder terminar productos de maquillaje, ¿verdad?
Lo compré en un supermercado Alimerka, que tiene stand de Essence.

4 - Paleta 'Comfort Zone' de Wet n Wild: Hablando de supermercados, he descubierto que en LUPA tienen stand de Wet'nWild. Para mi sorpresa, les quedaba aún una de estas paletas así que no lo dudé. Los muebles de Wet'nWild de Arenal, suelen estar arrasados.
Aunque tengo la versión antigua de esta paleta, está ya algo maltrecha, así que viene bien tener un repuesto. Me costó 5,99€.

Bien, estas han sido mis compras por el momento.

Here I am to show you my latest purchases so far.

1 - Elle pocket, October issue (marox): At only €1.95, it was a nice deal, as this month's freebie was a 2-count OPI nail polish minis. Mine came in a box, with the names clearly visible. I've seen online that other people got theirs only with the plastic inner tray without any names to identify the items.
I wouldn't mind getting my hands on another copy, if there are any left.

2 - Glamour pocket, October issue (marox):  A tad more expensive than the previous one. The regular version came with an Yves Rocher shampoo, if memory serves. I liked the freebie the smaller issue had better. 3 different travel-sized TBS body butters, apparently. I grabbed the mango one, with local newsagents also getting the Berry BonBon that I had from an earlier issue.


3 - Automatic Eye Pencil from Essence, shade #02 Hot Chocolate (marox): A replacement for the exact same thing that I'd been using. You feel a sense of accomplishment when you use a makeup product up, don't you? I got this from a local supermarket, Alimerka, as it has an Essence counter.




4 - Wet'nWild 'Comfort Zone' palette (marox): On the subject of supermarkets, I recently discovered that a local one, LUPA, had a Wet'nWild counter. To my surprise, they still had one of these palettes, so I grabbed it straightaway. Other counters from the brand elsewhere (Arenal drugstores, for one) are usually depleted.
I still have the old version of this palette, but it's taken a few beatings, so it makes sense to have a back-up.
