Hola, chicas:
En esta ocasión os enseñamos los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 -  Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide' (marox): La compré muy baratita -por 1,25€, ya que caducaba pronto- en ese antro de perdición llamado *Primaprix*. Por cierto, en *Groupon* tuvieron una oferta interesante: comprando un cupón de 1€ te descontaban 4€ por una compra mínima de 7€. Estaba limitada a un cupón por persona.
No recuerdo si os había enseñado este producto en una entrada de compras. Probablemente no me ha dado ni tiempo.

2 - Recambios compatibles Oral B de Lidl: Como diría Beatriz de MissPotingues, se van de cabeza a Mis Descartes. La calidad es muy desigual en el pack: algunos recambios se ponen ¡y quitan! bien y otros en cambio no hay manera de que salgan, hasta el punto que estropeas el recambio al quitarlo. Olvidaos de ellos si de forma habitual o aunque sea ocasional, tenéis que compartir la base del cepillo. Creo recordar que no llegaron por poco a los 5€ por el paquete de 8. Aunque el precio está muy bien, no los recomiendo en absoluto.

3 - Mascarilla arcilla violeta Sephora (marox):  Ni que decir tiene que me ha durado muuuchooo más que los 4 usos que pone en el envase. Hablando de envase, me parece de lo más práctico y es una pena que hayan prescindido de él.


4- Perfume "Lovely"- Sarah Jessica Parker (Marian).
Fue un regalo de marox, como todos los perfumes que he venido usando últimamente.
A mí me ha gustado, pero cuando lo ha usado ella en alguna ocasión, dice que ni fú ni fa.

5 - Manteca corporal de Natura Estónica (marox): La compré hace ya bastantes meses en Druni y como casi todo lo de esta marca, me ha parecido un producto muy bueno. El aroma quizá no es tan goloso como las de TBS que suelo usar, pero se extiende bien, el tarro contiene 300ml y creo recordar que no llegó a los 4€, por lo que genial en cuanto a relación calidad-precio.

This time we're showing you what we've used up recently.

1 - Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide (marox):  I got this for a steal -€1.25 to be exact, due to the short expiration date- at that sinful outlet supermarket called Primaprix. By the way, they recently had a Groupon deal where you paid €1 and got €4 off with a minimum purchase of €7. It was limited to one per person, though.
I don't recall if I got round to showing you this in a Haul post. I may not even had time to do so.

2 - Oral B compatible brush heads from Lidl: Just like one of our followers, Beatriz from Miss Potingues would say, they go straight to Mis Descartes or Items to Throw Away without a backward glance.
I noticed the quality is very hit and miss within the same package: some brush heads are easy to put on and take off whereas others are a real pain to take off, to the point that you ruin the piece in the process. Forget about these replacements if you need to share the brush body on a regular or even occasional basis. I believed these retailed for slightly under €5 and came in an 8-pack. As affordable as they may be, I wouldn't recommend them at all.


3 - Sephora purple clay mask (marox):  Needless to say I managed to stretch this muuch further than the 4 uses stated on the packaging. On the subject of packaging, this is super convenient and it's just a pity Sephora decided to discontinue this mask format.

4- 'Lovely' by Sarah Jessica Parker fragrance (Marian).
It was a gift from marox, as every fragrance I've been using lately.
I liked it quite much, but when she used it some times, she didn't like it. 

 
5 - Natura Estonica Body Butter (marox): I bought this many months ago and with pretty much everything I've tried from the brand, I really liked it. The scent may not be as gourmand as those TBS I'm now so used to, but it's great value for money, with a 300ml tub. It's easy to spread and if memory serves, this was less than €4.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2019 (II)

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 - Desodorante Queen Helene:  Nos gusta utilizar desodorantes sin aluminio. Estos son bastante económicos, aunque hay que  comprarlos por Internet, en Vitacost o iHerb.
No son tan efectivos como los desodorantes tradicionales, pero claro, también son más sanos.

2 - Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika de Açai: Venía súper impregnada, tanto que me ha sobrado esencia como para 4 veces más. Cerré el sobrecito con una pinza y lo guardé en el frigorífico para conservarlo bien.

3 - Mascarilla nocturna de Laneige: Me ha durado bastante, ya que recomiendan usarla de 1 a 2 veces por semana. He ido alternando esta mascarilla con otros productos.
Lo cierto es que está muy bien. Es de esos productos coreanos que merece la pena probar, aunque sea sólo una vez.
De momento no repetiré, porque tengo en uso una de Narukö y tengo mascarillas de tissú también por gastar.
Podéis encontrarla en multitud de tiendas online, aunque yo la compré por Ebay.

4 - Mascarilla tissú de rosa de Innisfree: Me ha gustado mucho. Con razón es una de las mascarillas de este formato más populares. Si bien con otras marcas he notado frescor e hidratación, con ésta también he sentido un efecto tensor. Sobró también esencia para un par de días más.

5 - Esmalte base 'Nail Envy' de OPI (marox): Aunque todavía quedaba como la mitad del bote, se había espesado. Eso no es lo peor: las últimas veces que lo he usado, con distintos esmaltes, me ha sacado un montón de burbujas en las manicuras, así que sintiéndolo mucho, se ha ido directo a la basura.

6 - Bálsamo limpiador casero (marox): Fue un regalo de Marian. Aunque acababa de comprar uno coreano, decidí utilizar éste primero al no llevar conservantes. Lo cierto es que ha aguantado bien sin estropearse. La textura es bastante aceitosa y cuesta un poco repartirlo, pero ha cumplido su función. Como envase aprovechó el del bálsamo desmaquillante de TBS.

7 - Bálsamo labial Biocura (Aldi): Es una lástima que aquí no haya Aldi, porque tienen algunos productos muy apañados, como éstos bálsamos labiales. Vienen en un paquete de 3 y creo que no llega a 2€. Solemos aprovechar cuando estamos en nuestra tierra para acercarnos hasta Aldi y hacernos con algunos de sus productos.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por ahora.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 - Queen Helene deodorant: We like to use aluminium-free deodorants and these are quite affordable. The downside is that you need to order them online, from stores like Vitacost or iHerb.
They're not as effective as traditional deodorants, but since those are not as healthy I guess it's better this way.

2 - Holika Holika Açai Sheet Mask: This came super drenched in essence, to the point that I had leftover serum for 4 more applications. I used a clothes peg to close the pouch and kept it in the fridge to make sure it was good to use.

3 -  Laneige Sleeping Pack: This has lasted quite a long time, since the recommended use is once or twice a week. I used other things as well.
I honestly really enjoyed trying this. I'd say it's one of those K-beauty items you should try at least once.
I won't repurchase for now, as I'm currently using another one from Narukö and have several sheet masks to use too.
Available from countless online stores, I got mine off Ebay.

4  - Innisfree Rose Sheet Mask: I truly enjoyed this one. It's a bestselling sheet mask for good reason. Whereas with others I could feel my skin feeling fresh and moisturized, this one gave me a tightening effect too. There was enough leftover essence for two more applications.
 

5 - OPI 'Nail Envy' Basecoat (marox): Still half full, it had thickened out. The worst thing is that the last few times I used it, regardless of the polish I used on top, it created a gazillion tiny bubbles on that.
Needless to say, I had to throw it away.

6 - Homemade Cleansing Balm (marox): Marian made this for me, even though I had just bought a Korean one. Since hers did not have any preservatives, I decided to use that first. Truth be told, it has held up without going bad. It is a bit oily and harder to spread than store-bought ones, but it did the job.
The container was a recycled one from TBS's cleansing balm.

7 - Biocura lipbalm from Aldi: It sucks that there's no Aldi here, since they have a handful of skincare items worth trying and repurchasing, like these lipbalms. These come in a 3-count and are less than €2. We usually grab some stuff from Aldi whenever we are in our hometown.

Compras varias acumuladas - Sundry haul.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

Hace un par de semanas estuve dando una vuelta por el centro (hacía mucho que no iba), y me topé con una tienda que no conocía. Me llamó tanto la atención que entré, y no pude salir de vacío.
La verdad es que había cosas monísimas.
La tienda se llama Flying Tiger, y es originaria de Copenhague.
Tenían muchas cosas para manualidades, decoración, incluso para deporte (tenían calcetines y guantes para yoga).
Esto fue lo que compré.

1- Romero.
La bolsa trae 80 gr. Lo compré pensando en que puedo hacer algún producto de cosmética casera con él, pero también me puedo tomar una infusión. Me costó 2€.




2- Colador para infusiones.
El que tenía antes tenía un cierre de clip y una cadena. Se ha abierto la pieza que unía las dos partes y ya no lo puedo arreglar, así que he comprado este otro, que lleva un sistema diferente, como si fueran unas pinzas. Me costó 1€.

Hace varios fines de semana hubo mercado medieval. Lo vi de casualidad y no pude por menos de darme una vuelta. Como os imaginaréis, tampoco me fui de vacío.
Esto fue lo que compré.

3- Infusión de rooibos chocolate y menta.
Me pareció interesante la combinación, así que se vino conmigo. Me costó 5€.




4- Ambientador natural.
Este es con aroma de dama de noche (me encanta ese olor). Ya había comprado otros similares en el mercado medieval de Zamora, y me gustó tanto que quise probar con otro diferente.
El olor dura muchísimo. Cuando notéis que deja de oler, sólo tenéis que romper la piedra y se desprende el olor de nuevo.
Me costó 2€.

5- Aceite esencial puro de árbol de té.
Otra adquisición para mis experimentos potinguiles. La botella trae 10 ml y me costó 12€, si no recuerdo mal.




6- Crema para el contorno de ojos.
Hecha con productos naturales y sin tóxicos.
El tarro trae 30 ml y me costó 10€.
He empezado a usarla y la sensación es muy agradable. Hidrata mucho esa zona tan delicada.

Y ahora vamos con lo que ha comprado Marox.

7- CC cream 'Face 2 change' en el tono #2 'Natural Beige' de Holika Holika. La compré a *este* vendedor. Me costó 11,48 dólares, con el envío incluído.
Con factor de protección 32, tiene unas capsulitas que al frotarlas sobre la piel van desprendiendo color. Me la noto un pelín clara, así que le añado una gota de maquillaje más oscuro. De momento no os puedo contar mucho más, ya que sólo la he probado un par de veces.





8- Brillo de labios mate de Essence: Me acerqué a un supermercado Alimerka con mueble de Essence, que además estaba muy cuidado y no pude evitar picar con alguna cosilla de liquidación, como este brillo de labios de color rojo. Es bastante pigmentado y tiene una duración bastante aceptable. Suelo aplicarme antes un poco de protector labial (el de EOS), así que no me resulta en absoluto seco. Creo que los productos de Essence hace ya un par de años dieron un salto de calidad.
Al estar en liquidación, su precio fue de 1,29€.

9 - Base de maquillaje 'Stay all day' de Essence en el tono #20 'Soft Nude': La compré para sustituir a la anterior, que está en las últimas. Suelo añadir una gotita a las BB Cream y ahora a la CC Cream para que el color se ajuste mejor a mi tono.
La compré también en Alimerka, sólo que no estaba en liquidación. Me costó 4,89€.

Como veis, son bastantes cosas, pero variadas; no sólo de cosmética.

Here we are again to show what we've bought recently.

Two weeks ago, I was walking along downtown (it'd been quite long since the last time), and then I saw a new store (new for me, at least). It caught my attention so much that I couldn't help to go in, and needless to say I had to buy something.
They had very cute stuff.
The store is called Flying Tiger, and it is from Copenhagen.
There were many things for handcrafts, home decor, and even for sports (they had yoga socks and gloves).
This is what I bought.

1- Rosemary loose leaves.
The pouch contains 80 gr. I bought it with my future homemade cosmetics in mind, but I can also make a tea with it. I paid €2.

2- Teaspoon strainer:
My old one had a latch and a chain and the hinge that joined both halves got cracked open beyond repair so I got this as a replacement. The new one has a different tong-like design. Price was €1.




There was a medieval fair some weekends ago.
I spotted it by chance and I couldn't help taking a look. And again, I just couldn't walk out empty-handed. Here's what I got.

3 - Rooibos chocolate and mint tea: The flavour combo seemed interesting enough and I brought this home with me. It was €5.

4 -Natural air freshener.
This one is night blooming jasmine scented (I love how it smells). I had already bought some of them at the medieval fair in Zamora, and I liked it so much that I wanted to try other scents.
It's really long lasting. When the scent becomes less noticeable, you just break the 'stone' into smaller pieces and it will work again.
I paid €2.




5- Tea tree pure essential oil.
Another purchase for my future homemade cosmetics. The bottle contains 10 ml and I paid €12, if I'm not wrong.

6- Under eye cream.
It's made from natural products and is toxic-free.
The jar contains 30 ml and was €10.
I began using it recently and it leaves a very pleasant feeling on the skin of such a delicate area.




Now let's move on to Marox's purchases.

7- 'Face 2 Change' CC cream from Holika Holika in the shade #2 'Natural Beige'. I got it from *this* seller and paid USD 11.48 with free shipping.
It has SPF32 and has color capsules that blend into the skin upon rubbing the product on. I find it slightly light for me and add a tiny dollop of foundation to get a better match. So far, that's the only thing I can say about it, as I've just used this a couple of times.


8- Essence Matt Lipgloss: I popped into a local supermarket, Alimerka, that has an Essence counter that was in really neat condition and had items on clearance. You guessed it, I didn't walk away empty-handed.
I got this red lipgloss. It has great colour payoff and is fairly long-lasting. I usually apply a bit of lipbalm (EOS) before putting some of this on, so I don't find it drying at all.
In my opinion, there's been a giant leap in quality for Essence's lip products in the last few years.
Like all clearance items, this was marked down to €1.29.

9 - Essence 'Stay all day' foundation in the shade #20 'Soft Nude'. I got this to replace the one I'd been using that is currently in its last uses. I usually add a tiny dollop to my BB Cream and now CC Cream so the colour is a better fit for me.
I got this from the same supermarket, though this was not on clearance. Price was €4.89.

There are a lot of things, as you can see, but not only cosmetics.

Productos terminados #51 - 'Finito' products #51.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros las cositas que hemos terminado últimamente.


1- Fluido protector rápida absorción FPS 50+ de Solcare (Marian).
Lo he usado este verano, bien solo o debajo del maquillaje. Lo compré el año pasado (creo), y aunque todavía quedaba producto, la fórmula ya no estaba en condiciones óptimas, así que lo he tirado.



2- BB mousse de Flormar (Marian).
La compré hace algo más de un año, y la he estado usando a diario, como maquillaje.
Al principio me quedaba bien de color, pero con el tiempo se me quedó oscura, y con un tono algo anaranjado (¿oxidación?).
No obstante, he esperado a que se me terminara. Para que el color no quedara tan oscuro, he estado usando la prebase de maquillaje de Art Deco, que es blanquecina.
No repetiré con ella.

3- Sleeping pack Honey de Holika Holika (Marox).
Me he propuesto intentar usar las muchas muestras que regalan con revistas, o pedidos de cosmética asiática. Sería una pena tenerlas que tirar sin tan siquiera haberlas usado.
Me gustó este sleeping pack, no me resultó excesivamente grasiento ni pegajoso. Sin embargo, le tengo echado el ojo a otro para cuando acabe el que estoy usando.
En cualquier caso, ya sabéis que una muestrita no siempre es suficiente para hacer que nos decidamos por un producto. Mi madre siempre dice que la calidad de las muestras es mucho mejor que el producto que luego compras. En mi caso, alguna vez se ha cumplido. 



4- Serum pestañas Etude House (Marox). La pinta que tiene creo que indica porqué lo he jubilado. No soy nada constante con estos productos: los uso una temporada y luego me olvido de ellos.

5- Desodorante Tom's (Marian).
Lo he terminado durante nuestra estancia en Londres. De hecho, la foto está hecha en la habitación del hotel.
Me ha gustado mucho, porque protege adecuadamente.
Otros desodorantes sin sales de aluminio se me quedan un poco cortos y "me abandonan", sobre todo ciertos días al mes.
No me importaría repetir con él.



Bien, pues esto ha sido todo de momento.

Here we are again, ready to share with you our thoughts on the products we've used up lately.

1 - Quick-absorbing face sunscreen 50+ SPF, Solcare (Mercadona supermarkets - Marian):
 I used it this summer, either on its own or underneath my makeup. I bought it the year before -or so I believe- and although there was still some left, the texture had changed and wasn't safe to use.

2 - Flormar BB Mousse (Marian): I purchased this a little over a year ago and I'd been using it daily as my everyday makeup. At first, the colour looked right but over time, it turned dark with an orange tint to it (oxidizing?).
Anyway, I used it up all the same. In order to tone the color down a bit, I used Art Deco's primer, which is completely white. I wouldn't repurchase.



3 - Holika Holika Honey Sleeping pack (Marox)
I'm on a secret mission to try and use the many samples that come either in magazines or with Korean skincare orders. It would be a pity to throw them away unused, wouldn't it?
I liked this sleeping pack, as it didn't seem too oily or sticky. But I have another one on my wishlist, once I've finished the one I'm using at the moment.
Anyway, you know it's hard to decide whether you like a product enough to make a purchase with a single sachet. My mum is of the opinion that the quality of samples is far better than the product you get when you buy a full-sized version. And in my experience, it turned out to be true a couple of times.

4- Eyelashes serum from Etude House (Marox). A quick look at the photo will be enough to discover why I'm throwing this away. I'm afraid I'm not consistent using certain products: use them a lot at first and then forget about them.




5- Deodorant from Tom's (Marian).
I used it up during our stay in London.
In fact, the pic was taken in our hotel room.
I like it very much, as it provides suitable protection.
Other deodorants without aluminium chlorhydrate 'leave me in the lurch', specially during those days of the month, you see.
I wouldn't mind repurchasing it.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products (#30).

Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Polvos sueltos "Noche y Día" (Marian).
Me los regaló Marox hace muchísimo tiempo. Creo que incluso antes de empezar este blog, para que os hagáis una idea.
La caja vacía que veis (no penséis que la he fregado para la foto, sino que gasté absolutamente todo el polvo suelto) no es la original. La original se rompió, y pasé los polvos a ésta.
No recuerdo cuánta cantidad contenía la caja, pero me han cundido muchísimo.
Aunque me han dado un buen resultado, es bastante poco probable que repita con ellos, por la dificultad de encontrar la misma marca.



2- Prebase ojos Rival de Loop Young (Marian).
No os imagináis lo que he sentido que se me acabara. No sé si encontraré otra prebase como ésta. Creo que con esto, lo he dicho todo.
La compré cuando estuvimos en Berlín (ya os la enseñamos en su día). La relación calidad-precio de esta prebase es inmejorable.
Si pudiera, obviamente repetiría con ella, pero a no ser que volvamos a viajar a Alemania, lo veo bastante difícil, puesto que por lo que sé, no se vende online.

3- Crema hidratante Holika Holika Water March (Marian).
La he estado utilizando en mi rutina diaria, y como sabéis, no es el primer tarro que he usado de esta crema. Esto quiere decir que me ha gustado mucho, mucho.
Pero eso no significa que de vez en cuando, no me apetezca probar otros productos.
Por supuesto, no descartaría repetir con ella, pero no ahora.

4- BB cream Luminous Silk de Holika Holika (Marian).
Me encantan las BB cream asiáticas, como ya sabéis, y me gusta probar diferentes marcas.
De ésta, probé una muestra en su día, y me decidí a comprarla.
Como otras que he probado hasta ahora, tiene una cobertura que yo describiría como media-alta, y deja la piel con muy buen aspecto.
El tema de los brillos al cabo de las horas no lo he podido evitar con ninguna, ni aun matificando con polvos. Aun así, mi opinión sobre ella es muy positiva.

5- Esponjita de maquillaje de Buyincoins (Marian).
Como podéis ver, ha llegado el final de su vida útil. No hace falta explicar por qué.
Me encantan este tipo de esponjitas para aplicar la BB cream, puesto que al ser más densas que los maquillajes fluidos, una brocha para aplicar maquillaje no las extiende igual.
Repetiré con este tipo de producto sin duda, aunque sea de otras marcas.

Here we are with a new review of the items we've used up recently.

1 - Loose translucent powder 'Noche & Día' (Marian).
Marox gave me them a long time ago.
I think that was before we started with this blog, so you can get an idea.
The empty bottle you see (don't think I've washed it for the pic, it's just that I used up absolutely all the loose powder) is not the original one, which broke, so I had to put the powder into this one.
I don't remember the amount of the original bottle, but they've lasted for a long time.
Although I got a good result, I surely won't be repeating with them, because this brand is hard to find.

2 - Rival de Loop Young Eyeshadow Base (Marian).
You can't imagine how sorry I feel because I run out of it. I don't know if I could find another eyeshadow base like this one. Nothing more to say.
I bought it when we were in Berlin (we already showed you it). The quality-price rate of this base is unbeatable.
If I could, I would repeat with it, obviously, but unless we travel to Germany again, it's quite hard to find it, because if I'm right, it's not sold online.



3 - Holika Holika Water March moisturiser (Marian).
I've been using it in my daily routine, and as you know, it's not the first bottle I used of this moisturizer. This means that I like it sooo much.
But it doesn't mean that I don't want to try other products.
Of course, I wouldn't rule out to repeat with it, but not now.


4 - Holika Holika Luminous Silk BB Cream (Marian).
I love Asian BB creams, as you know, and I like trying different brands.
I tried a sample of this one, and I decided to buy it.
As others I've tried so far, it has a medium-high coverage, and it leaves the skin with a soft and healthy feeling.
I couldn't avoid the shiny skin issue, even mattifying with powder.
However, my opinion about it is very possitive.



5- Buyincoins makeup sponge (Marian).
As you can see, its lifespan came to the end. There's no need to explain why.
I love this kind of sponges to apply BB creams, because as they're more dense than fluid foundation, they can't be applied the same way by a foundation brush.
I'll buy this kind of product again, no matter the brand is.

Look en verdes "Lucky Charms" - Look in greens 'Lucky Charms'

En un alarde de atrevimiento os voy a enseñar un look que me hice hace unos días para salir.

Se llama Lucky Charms porque éste es el nombre del dúo de sombras protagonista de este look. Os lo enseñamos *aquí*.

Bueno, sin más, os enseño las fotos y los productos que he utilizado.
Espero que os guste.



Ahora os explico los productos que he utilizado, aunque algunos no podáis verlos "en acción".

Para el rostro:
*BB cream "Luminous Silk" de Holika Holika, en el tono Light Beige.
*Mineralize Satinfinish de MAC, en el tono NW25.
*Corrector Acción global de Deliplus, en el tono 02.
*Colorete de Sleek, en el tono "Sunrise".
*Dúo bronceador/iluminador de Benefit "Be a perfect 10".

Para los ojos:
*Como base para las sombras, el jumbo de Deliplus en el tono verde menta.
*Dúo de sombras "Lucky Charms" de Too Faced, en el párpado móvil.
*Sombra nº12 de Deliplus (las antiguas), para marcar la cuenca.
*Sombra "Blockbuster" de Essence, para iluminar el arco de la ceja.
*Sombra 114 de KIKO, en la uve externa, y en la línea inferior de pestañas.
*Delineador líquido negro de P2.
*Lápiz automático de Yves Rocher en negro, para la línea de agua inferior.

Believe it or not, today I dare show you a make-up look I made some days ago to go out.

I've named it 'Lucky Charms', as this is the name of the eyeshadow duo I used for this look. We showed it to you *here*.

Reseña / Review: Holika Holika Water March (para pieles mixtas / for combination skin)

Hace tiempo os hablamos de esta crema. La probamos gracias a una muestra que nos mandó Bellogirl y nos gustó tanto que le regalé una a Marian por Navidad.
La historia no acaba ahí, puesto que también mi madre la probó y le pedí otra para ella y ya de paso otra para mí.

La crema hidratante Water March de Holika Holika está disponible en dos versiones, una para pieles secas (tarro rosa) y ésta de la que os hablamos para pieles mixtas (tarro verde).
La textura es crema-gel, similar a la de Biotherm AquaSource, su clon Hidrafresh de L'Oreal o incluso la crema de pepino de la línea MySkin de Essence, con la salvedad de que ésta última tiene unas partículas iridiscentes.

Podéis encontrar esta tienda en diferentes vendedores de Ebay. Os aconsejamos que comparéis precios y si os interesa, la busquéis en distintas fechas, ya que la diferencia de precio puede ser considerable. Para que os hagáis una idea, la primera crema que compramos (para Marian) nos costó 27,99$ en la tienda de Bellogirl, que la tenía un dólar más cara que el otro único vendedor. En cambio, la de mi madre me costó 19,99$ y la mía (ganada en una puja) me salió por 14$. Resumiendo, que si os interesa probar esta crema, tantéeis un poco los distintos precios y vendedores.

He mencionado que esta crema recuerda por su textura a otras de marcas occidentales, salvo por un detalle importante. Mientras que cualquier crema contiene 50ml, la de Holika Holika contiene 120ml, así que ya sólo por eso, merece la pena.

Con ingredientes como la alantoína, el aloe vera, la avena, el extracto de hoja de frambuesa del Himalaya y la ulmaria, hidrata muy bien la piel, dejando una sensación muy agradable y nada grasa. Si os gustan las hidratantes con textura gel-crema, tenéis que probarla.

We told you about this moisturiser long ago. We tried this thanks to a sample we got from Bellogirl and we liked it so much that I bought it for Marian last Christmas.
The story doesn't end there, because our mum tried this and loved it so much we got another one for her and I bought another one for myself.

This Holika Holika Water March moisturiser is available in two different versions: one for dry skin  (in a pink jar) and the one we're reviewing for combination skin (in a green jar).
Its texture is a cream-gel one, similar to Biotherm's AquaSource and its dupe, L'Oreal Hidrafresh or even the cucumber cream from the Essence MySkin range -though the latter contains light-reflecting particles.

The cream can be purchased from several sellers on Ebay. We strongly advise you to compare their prices and if you really want to get it, even try different dates since the price difference can be significant. FYI, the first one we bought (Marian's) cost 27,99$ from Bellogirl's store, who sold it for one dollar more than the only other seller at the time. However, my mum's one was 19,99$ and mine (I won the bid) cost only 14$. In sum, if you really want to try this cream, keep an eye on it and check out the different sellers and their prices.

I've mentioned earlier that this moisturiser is similar texture-wise to others from Western brands, except for an important detail. While most creams contain 50ml, the Holika Holika one has 120ml, so only that makes it worth it. 

With ingredients such as allantoin, aloe vera, oat and Himalayan berries extracts and meadowsweet, it is very moisturising and pleasant to use, not greasy at all. If you favour the gel-cream consistency, you have to try this one.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros las últimas cosas que hemos comprado en estos meses.

Here we are again to share with you all the stuff we've bought in recent months.

1- Kindle Paperwhite de *Amazon*: Regalo para Marian, que se ha apuntado a un curso online y le vendrá muy bien. Espero que también le coja el saborete a la lectura y lo use también para leer libros. Está muy bien de precio dentro de su gama, ya que cuesta 129€.
A lo tonto a lo tonto, estoy amortizando la cuota Premium.

2- Funda inteligente para el Kindle Paperwhite, de Ebay: Ajusta muy bien, ya que encaja perfectamente en una carcasa plástica y la parte exterior es de símil piel con dibujos de mariposas. Es preciosa y se ve robusta y de calidad. Está disponible en varios colores y Marian escogió el morado. El Kindle se apaga y enciende automáticamente al abrir la funda. El cierre no lleva imán, así que no hay problema de que os dañe tarjetas si lo lleváis en el bolso. El vendedor es del Reino Unido y se llama fastn. También le pedimos un protector para la pantalla. El precio total fue de 13,34 libras (aproximadamente, 15,51€ al cambio) y tardó 9 días en llegar, que parece mucho teniendo en cuenta que viene desde el Reino Unido.

3- Cremas Holika Holika Water March para piel mixta: Como nos gustó la que le regalé a Marian por Navidad, pedimos una para nuestra madre (vendedor rubyruby76; precio 19,99$ = 15,33€ aprox). Tardó 17 días en llegar y vino muy bien protegido con plástico de burbujas y en una caja de cartón. No mandó muestras.
Y para no ser menos, me pedí otra para mí en una puja. El vendedor fue makozzang y me salió aún más barata, por 14$ (=10,74€ aprox.) El envío tardó 16 días y vino muy bien protegido en plástico de burbujas dentro de una caja. El vendedor incluyó dos muestritas: la versión para piel seca (crema rosa) de esa misma crema y de la BB Cream Luminous Silk de Holika Holika.

4- Quitaesmaltes con y sin acetona de LIDL: Hasta el momento, sólo habíamos probado el de acetona. Nos encanta el envase, que es francamente cómodo. Los dos valen lo mismo, 1,49€.

5- Limpiadora facial LIDL: A diferencia de la que compramos en Sephora en los Precios Locos, esta sí que hace espumita y limpia bien la piel, dejando una sensación agradable. Es baratita -cuesta 1,49€- y está bien para completar el ritual de limpieza facial diaria.



6- Discos de algodón de LIDL: Son de los que más nos gustan, junto con los del Carrefour Discount y los del DIA (que son 100% algodón). También muy baratitos -sólo 0,85€.

7- Bastoncillos de aldodón de LIDL: Me gusta tener una cajita en el baño, ya sea para retirar bien los restos de máscara de pestañas, limpiar los restos de esmaltes de uñas cuando me hago alguna decoración, etc. Eso sí, para limpiar el oído es mejor no introducir nada en el conducto auditivo. Baratísimos también, ya que sólo costaron 0,45€.

Pues estas han sido nuestras últimas compras -variaditas, como véis.
¿Qué os han parecido? 

1- Kindle Paperwhite from Amazon: A present for Marian, who's doing an online course and will make good use of it. I hope she also uses it to read proper books once the course is over and gets hooked on reading too. It is tough to beat in its price range. 
Believe it or not, I'm actually getting my money's worth now that I upgraded my account to a Premium one.

2- Smart cover case for the Kindle Paperwhite, off Ebay: It provides a snug, perfect fit with a plastic snap-on casing and the outer part is made of faux leather with engraved butterflies. It is really pretty and looks durable and good quality. It is available in several colours and Marian chose it in purple. The Kindle automatically changes to wake/sleep by opening or closing the smart cover. The strap has no magnet, so carrying it in your purse won't mess with your credit cards or anything. Seller was based in the UK and the name is fastn. We also ordered a screen protector. Total was GBP 13,34 (aprox. 15.51 EUR) and took 9 days to arrive, which seemed a lot considering it was shipped from the UK.

3- Holika Holika Water March moisturiser for combination skin: Since we liked the one I gave Marian for Christmas very much, we ordered another one for our mother (seller rubyruby76 ; price 19.99 USD = 15.33 EUR aprox.). Shipping took 17 days and came well protected with bubblewrap inside a box. No samples were included.
And what the hell, I also got another one for me thanks to a winning bid. Seller was makozzang and I got mine even cheaper, for $14 (= €10.74, aprox.). Shipping took 16 days and again came well protected in bubblewrap inside a box. The seller included two samples: one with the dry-skin variety of this cream (pink jar) and another one with Holika Holika's Luminous Silk BB Cream.

4- Nail polish removers, with acetone and acetone-free from LIDL: So far, we'd only tried the acetone one. We love the bottle, which is very convenient. Both cost 1.49 EUR.



5- Face cleanser from LIDL: Unlike the one we got from Sephora during their Crazy Prizes sales, this one does lather and cleanses your skin well, leaving a nice feeling to your skin. It's cheap -at only €1.49- and is a nice addition to your daily face cleansing ritual.

6- Cotton pads from LIDL: These are among our favourites, together with the Carrefour Discount ones and those from DIA (which are 100% cotton). They're also very cheap -only €0.85.



7- LIDL cotton Q-tips: I like to keep a box in the bathroom, either for removing any trace of mascara from my lashes, or to clean-up my fingers when I'm doing nail art and so on. What you should never use these are to clean up your ears. Again, these were really cheap, at only €0.45.

Well, these were our latest purchases -with a little bit of everything, as you see.

Hoy me gustaría hablaros de la mascarilla para los puntos negros de Holika Holika, que pedimos a Bello-girl junto con mi segunda BB Cream.
Tanto Marian como yo tenemos bastantes puntos negros, especialmente en la nariz. No suele haber muchos productos específicos para tratarlos, así que cuando vi éste en la tienda de Bello-girl y busqué opiniones, me decidí a probarlo. Es el primer producto de este tipo que probamos.

Today I'd like to talk about the Blackhead Peel-off Mask from the brand Holika Holika that we ordered off EBay from the seller Bello-girl, together with my second BB Cream.
Both Marian and myself have many blackheads, especially on the nose. There are not many products to treat these, so when I stumbled upon this product on Bello-girl's store and after searching for reviews, I decided to give it a try. This is the first blackhead removal treatment product we've ever tried.

La mascarilla viene precintada por dentro y por fuera y se presenta en un tubo dorado de 50ml con tapa negra que nos durará la vida, ya que se usa muy poca cantidad de cada vez.

Mask comes sealed both outside and inside and in a golden tube with a black cap containing 50ml which will probably last a lifetime, as you only use a small amount of product each time.

Detalles del producto:

-Sus ingredientes incluyen ceniza volcánica, carbón de bambú y componentes minerales que ayudan a eliminar los puntos negros y cuidan la piel.
- Aplicar sobre la nariz y las mejillas (o lo que es lo mismo, donde tengamos puntos negros).
- Levantar con cuidado después de 10-15 min.
- Aclarar con agua templada o un algodón empapado en tónico.
- Precio: 9,75€ = 12,99$ /50ml

-Its ingredients include volcanic ashes, bamboo's charcoal and different mineral ingredients that help eliminate black heads and take care of your skin.
-Apply onto nose and cheeks (or basically, wherever you have blackheads).
-Peel off gently after 10-15 min.
-Rinse with warm water or a cotton pad soaked in toner.

En cuanto a los ingredientes, poco puedo comentar aparte de lo que indico arriba, ya que toda la información está en koreano, pero tiene un olor suave, a diferencia de la mascarilla facial peel-off de Yves Rocher que apesta a alcohol. No sé si la de Holika Holika lleva, pero si lo tiene, desde luego no se nota nada.

Ingredientwise I can hardly comment anything besides what I mentioned above, as all the bottle information is in Korean, but it has a soft scent, unlike the face peel-off mask from Yves Rocher which stinks of alcohol. If this one does have, it goes unnoticed.

Después de 10-15 minutos, retiré con sumo cuidado la mascarilla. Se adhiere tan bien a los puntos negros que por momentos parece que te vayas a arrancar la piel a tiras.
Aunque la piel se queda un poco roja, no tarda en recuperarse. Lo noté especialmente la primera vez que la usé y quizá si la hubiera retirado un poquito antes no me hubiera pasado. Supongo que será cuestión de tantear el tiempo.

After 10-15 minutos, I peeled the mask off very carefully. It adheres so well to your blackheads that for a moment you fear you're going to rip your skin to bits.
It will leave your skin a bit red, but the redness wears off very quickly. I noticed this the first time I used it and it might not have happened had I removed it a little bit earlier. I guess it will take a bit to test the ideal exposure time.

Tanto Marian como nuestra madre han probado la mascarilla y les ha gustado mucho cómo consigue retirar bastantes puntos negros.
Aunque evidentemente, nos durará un montón de tiempo, repetiríamos seguro.

Both Marian and our mother have tried this peel-off mask and liked how it removed most of their blackheads.
Though this will last a very long time, we'd repurchase for sure.

Segundo pedido a Bellogirl / Second order to Bellogirl

En nuestra *segunda* entrega de productos terminados, incluímos mi Missha Perfect Cover #21 y aunque todavía me queda un poco de producto en dos tarritos de muestra, me decidí a pedir otra BB Cream. Aunque me ha ENCANTADO la MPC, lo cierto es que hay tantísimas BB Creams que me apetecía probar otra diferente.

In the *second* installment of our Finito Products, we included my Missha Perfect Cover #21 and although I still have some of that left in a couple of sample jars, I decided to order another BB Cream. As much as I LOVED my MPC, the truth is there are soo many BB Creams out there that I wanted to branch out and choose something else this time.

Con el anterior pedido, la vendedora de Ebay bellogirl incluyó varias muestras y la de Lioele Triple The Solution me encantó... pero, Bellogirl ya no la vende porque según me comentó, la calidad no se correspondía con el precio. Me recomendó la *Lollynne Brightening BB Cream*, con SPF35, pero apenas había opiniones sobre ella en Internet y me parecía un poco cara para arriesgarme.
No obstante, la he puesto en la watchlist por si en un futuro decido hacer caso a su recomendación: por lo visto, es más natural que la gran mayoría de cremas de este tipo, ya que no lleva parabenos, aceites minerales, alcohol ni ingredientes modificados genéticamente.

The seller Bellogirl included at the time several samples and I totally loved Lioele Triple The Solution... BUT, Bellogirl does not sell that anymore as apparently quality is not on a par with the price, or so she said. She suggested *Lollynne Brightening BB Cream with SPF35* instead, but there were hardly any reviews for that and I felt it was a tad too expensive to risk and end up with a bad choice.
However, I did add that to my watchlist in case I decide to follow her advice in the future: apparently the formulation is a lot more natural than on the average BB Cream, as it contains no parabenes, no mineral oils, alcohol or GMO ingredients.





El pedido lo realicé el día 13 de marzo y me llegó el 26. Junto con la BB Cream I Love BB Light Cream de Peripera, me pedí una mascarilla peel-off para tratar los puntos negros de la marca Holika Holika *opinión aquí*. Al igual que en mi primer pedido, la vendedora incluyó muestras de varios productos, entre ellos dos BB Creams que estamos deseando probar, aunque antes nos informaremos un poco sobre todos ellos. Aún no he estrenado la BB Cream, pero en cuanto la haya probado en condiciones haré un post sobre ella. La mascarilla sí que la hemos probado y pronto os hablaremos de ella.
Bellogirl envía el pedido mediante correo certificado (tendréis que firmar), marcado como regalo y por un valor inferior al real, en este caso marcó 10 dólares, en lugar de 31,98 $.





I placed my order on March 13th and it came on the 26th. Besides my new I Love BB Light Cream from Peripera, I ordered a blackhead peel-off mask from the brand Holika Holika *review here*. Just like with my first order, the seller included several samples of different products, including two BB Creams we're very eager to try, though we might get some info on all the products first.
I haven't tried the BB Cream yet, but expect a post about it when I do. We did try the mask and will up a post about it soon.
Bellogirl sent the order by registered mail with signed-for delivery, marked as gift and consigning a lower value (in my case, she declared 10 USD instead of the real 31.98 USD).
