Compras varias / Sundry Haul (VII)

Hola de nuevo   Venimos un día más dispuestas a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente y de paso, nos vamos poniendo al día con el blog y no se nos acumulan los productos pendientes de enseñaros.    1 - Revista Elle, agosto 2021:Hacía tiempo que no picaba con las espumas de Rituals: en parte porque las revistas han subido de precio, porque ya he probado la espuma que traía y porque el formato no es muy sostenible.    2 - Revista Glamour, agosto 2021: Es la segunda vez que traen estos champús en seco de Valquer. De la vez anterior, cogí la otra variedad, así que aproveché para coger una diferente. De momento, sólo he probado esta última que compré unas cuantas veces. Hay que usar mascarilla o acondicionador después, porque no me hidrata lo suficiente.       3 - Revista Woman, septiembre 2021: Y hablando de acondicionador,  me hice con éste de Rituals que no había probado y me está gustando mucho. Lo estoy usando con el champú anterior entre semana.   4 - Perfume Ilvande 'Take me far away', a la venta en Primaprix: Está fabricado para ellos, *MaxBrands*, por lo que pensaba que no lo ibáis a encontrar salvo que tuviérais una de sus tiendas cerca, pero resulta que en Internet me encuentro que los vende *Druni*.   Tenían tester y entre lo bonito del envase y que tenía un olor agradable -aunque no muy duradero, como es lógico-, se vino conmigo. El frasco trae 50ml y me costó sólo 2.45€. Tiene un toque floral, en mi opinión. Imagino que sea copia de algún perfume conocido.   5- Champú sólido "Gran suave" (Marian). Nos ha venido muy bien el cambio de ubicación de la tienda, porque ahora nos queda más cerca. Lo compré la última vez que fui a Zamora. Ha cambiado un poco de forma. Ya no es una semiesfera. Le han quitado el "copete" de arriba. Por lo que nos dijo Chus, la dueña de la tienda, ya no hace tanta espuma, así que supongo que ahora llevará menos sulfatos. 6- Champú sólido "Like a Virgin" (Marian). Lo compré en la misma tienda que el anterior. Parece que el gran suave y las otras dos variedades que tenían los van a descatalogar. De hecho, me llevé el último. Así que compré éste, de aceite de oliva virgen. Había muchas más variedades.   7- Perfume "Rubí" de Saphir (Marian). Tenía ganas de volver a repetir con estos perfumes, y he decidido hacerlo con el primero que probé de la marca, hace ya un porrón de años.   Bien, esto ha sido todo por el momento. Hasta pronto.

Hi again,   Here we are one more time ready to share with you what we bought lately. And since we're at it, we'll catch up on our posting and not have a backlog  of products to be shown.   1 - Elle Magazine, August 2021 issue: It'd been a while since I last gave in and got a Rituals shower foam. In part because magazine prices have gone up lately or I'd tried the one I found at my kiosk and because this format is not too environmentally-friendly.       2 - Glamour Magazine, august 2021: It's the second time the freebie is a dry shampoo from the brand Valquer. Last time I grabbed a different type, so I got another one now. So far, I've only tried this one a few times. You need to apply conditioner or a mask afterwards, since these tend to be a bit drying for my hair.   3 - Woman Magazine, September 2021 issue: And on the subject of conditioner,  I got my hands on this one from Rituals I'd never tried before. I really like it and I'm using it with the dry shampoo above mid-week.   4 - Ilvande 'Take me far away' perfume, available from Primaprix: It is manufactured for them by their own brand, Maxbrands, so I thought you couldn't get these anywhere except their stores, but it turns out in Spain these are also sold at *Druni* drugstores. The packaging was cute, there were testers and it had a nice scent -not too lasting, as expected-, so I brought it home with me. The bottle has 50ml and it was only €2.45. It'd say it's a floral scent and it's probably a dupe for some famous perfume.   5- 'Big softy' bar shampoo (Marian). The store has changed its location, which is great for us, because now it's nearer from home. I bought it last time I went to Zamora. The bar shape has changed and it's not a half  sphere anymore.  Another thing that has changed is the formula. According to Chus, the store owner, it now makes less foam, so I guess that it contains fewer sulphates.       6- 'Like a Virgin' shampoo bar (Marian). I bought it at the same store. The 'Big Softy' one, and the other two from the brand are being discontinued. In fact, I bought the last one. So I purchased this one, made of virgin olive oil. There were many different ones.    7- 'Rubí' EdP from Saphir (Marian). I was willing to try again these perfumes, so I decided to go with the first one I ever tried, a trillion years ago.     Well, this is all for now. See you around.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2021 (I).

Hola, chicas: Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente. 1- Mascarilla de arcilla azul de Sephora (Marian). Me ha encantado este formato. Se aprovecha muchísimo. Pone que da para 4 usos, pero yo he tenido para muchísimos más. ¿Quizá 40? No sé si tantos, pero desde luego bastantes más de 4. 2- Mascarilla de miel de manuka de Sephora (Marian). Es una mascarilla de tisú, que viene impregnada de sérum. Con este tipo de mascarillas me suelen salir granos después; con ésta sólo me brillaba un poco la frente, así que fenomenal. Después, he estado usando el sérum una vez a la semana tras mi rutina de limpieza. Como véis en la foto, Molly no se pudo aguantar las ganas de olisquear y ver qué me traía entre manos. 3 - Espuma ducha de Rituals Hammam Delight, con eucalipto y romero (marox): Vino hace un montón de tiempo con alguna revista. Me ha durado mucho porque la teníamos en nuestra otra casa. Las colaboraciones que la marca hace con las revistas españolas son una buena oportunidad de hacerse con ellas. Me gustan, pero creo que no pagaría el precio de venta habiendo opciones agradables que cunden más. Tengo aquí al menos otra diferente para usar.  4 - Bálsamo labial Biocura - Aldi: Son nuestros bálsamos favoritos, por precio y calidad. Vienen en un paquete de 3 y creo que cuestan 2 euros. Dependiendo de la época, tienen una gama estándar o algún 'sabor' como miel, granada... Siempre que vamos a Aldi, que no es muy a menudo, compramos. Son ideales para llevar en el bolso, tener por casa, etc. Estos han sido nuestros terminados por ahora. ¿Habéis probado alguno? Contadnos abajo, en los comentarios. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls, Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties'. 1- Blue clay mask from Sephora (Marian). I love this kind of packaging, because you can make the most of it.  In theory, this is supposed to be used up to 4 times, but I got a lot more uses than that. Maybe 40? Well, maybe not that much, but way more than just 4. 2- Manuka honey mask from Sephora (Marian).   It's a sheet mask that comes drenched in essence. With these masks, I usually break out afterwards. but with this one my forehead only got a bit shiny, so great. I've been using the leftover essence once a week after my cleansing routine. As you can tell from the pic, Molly couldn't help herself and had to sniff out and see what I was up to.  3 - Hammam Delight Rituals Shower Foam with eucalyptus and rosemary (marox): This was an old magazine freebie it's taken me really long to use up because it was in our second home. Brands teaming up with beauty magazines are a great chance to get your hands on splurge items such as these. I like them, but I wouldn't pay the retail price for them, considering there are other spa-like options that are more affordable and that will give you more uses.   I still have at least one more Rituals shower foam to use here.   4 - Biocura - Aldi Lipbalm: These are our favourite balms, price and quality wise. They come in a pack of 3 and I believe they retail at €2. Depending on the season, you may get a standard selection or find other scents like honey and pomegranate. Every time we go to Aldi -not that often- we always get some. They're excellent to carry around in your bag, have at home, etc. These have been our 'empties' so far. Have you tried any? Productos Terminados / Finito Products 2020 (VI)

Hola, chicas:   Parece que poco a poco se va instalando el frío entre nosotros, al menos por Castilla. Así que coged una mantita y pasad con nosotras unas minutos, leyendo sobre nuestros últimos terminados.   1 - Gel argán TBS: Me hice con este gel gracias a una revista, probablemente Glamour, hace unos meses. Con muy poca cantidad cunde. Nos ha gustado mucho a las 2. De esta linea únicamente había probado un bálsamo labial en formato latita. Me gustaría probar la manteca corporal correspondiente, así que ojalá vuelvan las revistas a hacer colaboraciones de este tipo para hacernos con más productos. Gracias a estas colaboraciones, suelo tener solucionadas las 'potiduchas'. Tengo otros 2 por gastar, de otros números de la revista, el último vino con la edición mini, así que salió todavía más a cuenta que éste, que vino con el tamaño grande de la revista. 2 - Desodorante Sanex 0%: Lo compramos en Primaprix, donde solemos comprar este tipo de cosas últimamente. Nos ha gustado mucho y aunque no lo hemos vuelto a ver, lo tendremos en cuenta para el futuro. 3 - Mascarilla tissú Sephora de té verde (marox): Compré esta mascarilla en rebajas, como podéis ver y he tardado algo en usarla. Es de las que tenéis que retirar una capa antes de ponerla.  Con estas mascarillas suele sobrar esencia: yo suelo guardar el sobrante en la nevera y me suele dar para un par de usos. Hacedlo con precaución, eso sí.     4 - Exfoliante 'Fortune Scrub' de Rituals: Vino con una revista hace una eternidad. Llevaba tiempo en mmi ducha pero lo usé mucho al principio y luego rarara vez me acordaba de él. Eso sí, es muy agradable de usar, no está suspendido en aceite como otro que tengo a medias en formato tarro. Aunque suelo ser partidaria de los tarros por aquello de que se aprovechan más los productos, en este caso prefiero este tipo de exfoliante, pero por la fórmula en sí.      5 - Mousse rizos Deliplus: Ya no está a la venta desde hace tiempo. Me gustaba mucho en su momento, pero desde que empezamos a usar el Potion 9 la usábamos esporádicamente. La última vez que intenté usarla la textura había cambiado, así que a la basura sin dudarlo.    6 - Base para uñas 'Better than Gel Nails' de Essence: Siempre ha sido una de mis favoritas, especialmente teniendo en cuenta su precio. Ésta estaba en nuestra segunda casa y la pobre está toda pastosa, así que se va a la basura. Esto ha sido todo por el momento. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls,   It's slowly getting colder, at least here in Castille. So cozy up and spend a few minutes reading about  our latest 'empties'.   1 - TBS Argan Oil shower gel: I got my hands on this shower gel as a magazine freebie, most likely with Glamour, a few months ago. A little really goes a long way with this. We liked it very much. The only product I'd tried from their argan line was a lip balm in a tin jar. I'd love to try the body butter, so fingers crossed that they'll partner again with the brand so I can test other stuff too. Thanks to these collabs, my 'pleasure showers' are taken care of. I still have another 2 left, from different lines. They came with other issues, the last one with the pocket edition which is an even better deal than this was. 2 - Sanex 0% Deodorant: We bought this at Primaprix outlet supermarket, where we tend to get all this stuff lately. We liked it a lot and although we haven't seen it again there, we'll keep an eye on it for a future visit.     3 - Sephora Green Tea Sheet Mask (marox): I bought this at a sale, as you can see, but it's taken me a while to use it. It does have a protective layer you need to peel off before you put it on. As with most sheet masks, there is leftover essence, so I keep them in the fridge and the remaining product is enough for a couple uses. Do this at your own risk, though. 4 - Rituals 'Fortune Scrub': This was a magazine freebie, a lifetime ago. It's been in my shower for a really long time. Long story short: used it often at first but then sort of forgot about it. It is really nice to use, though, it isn't an oil-based scrub like another I have in use that comes in a tub. Although I normally go for products that come in a tub, I'd rather get this, but not because of the format but the formula itself.    5 - Styling mousse for curly hair from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): It's no longer available and hasn't been in a while. I loved it back then, but ever since we switched to Potion9 I used it once in a blue moon. Last time I tried to do so, the texture was really funky, so it goes straight into our dustbin.      6 -  Essence 'Better than Gel Nails' base sealer: It's always been one of my favourites, especially considering how affordable it is. This was in our second home and it was all gooey, so I had to throw it away.   This is all for now. See you around.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (II)

Aquí venimos a enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Cepillo Oral B Pro 2500: Nuestro querido cepillo va perdiendo fuelle con los años, así que nos hemos comprado en Amazon uno nuevo para cada una. Como véis, trae un estuche de viaje, que me parece que es algo que deberían traer todos "de serie".  Nos costaron 35,99€ cada uno.



2 - Revista Glamour pocket, abril 2019 (marox): En esta ocasión, había regalos de lo más variado, como gafas de sol -no me fío mucho- a productos de Rituals como esta espuma o la crema corporal, que ya tenía de otra revista.
La espuma es un poco más pequeña que las de otras gamas, con 150 ml en lugar de los habituales 200. Creo que cuesta 7,50€, así que por 2,95€ que costaba la revista creo que no está mal.
La crema se vende en Internet por unos 8,50€.



3 -  Revista Woman Madame pocket, abril 2019 (marox): Tanto la revista grande como la pequeña traían regalos, de Sensilis en la grande y una crema de manos grande de Salerm y dos sets diferentes de manicura en la pequeña, que ha sido la que compré yo. Por 2€, creo que sale muy a cuenta.
La crema tiene una composición muy buena. Viene precintada, lo que es genial teniendo en cuenta que tengo varias cremas abiertas y repuestos para un par de años, jeje.

4 - Sérum ácido hialurónico de Scinic: Ya sabéis que le soy fiel, porque es muy baratito y me va bien. He estado tentada de probar otros como el de Elizavecca, por ejemplo, pero al final he vuelto a repetir con éste. Como siempre, lo adquirí por Ebay, que ya sabéis que además genera cashback si entráis a través de páginas como *Beruby*, *Shoppiday* o *Topcashback*.
Eso sí, como véis, la caja llegó machacada, a pesar de venir bien protegido. El sérum sobrevivió, menos mal. 

5 - Sérum Missha: Lo había comprado para mi madre hace tiempo y lo he probado alguna vez. Lo alternaré con mascarillas tissú variadas y sleeping pack.

6 - Recambios compatibles Oral B de Lidl: Estos recambios son para el cepillo eléctrico de marca Lidl, pero son compatibles con la mayoría de cepillos Oral B. Cuestan sólo 4,99€, aunque sólo los traen cuando venden el cepillo.
De momento los hemos probado tanto Marian como yo y van bien. Eso sí, algunos recambios cuesta sacarlos más que otros.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por el momento.

Here we are again to show you our latest purchases.

1 - Oral B Pro 2500 electric toothbrush: Our trusted brush was not as powerful as it once was, so it was time to get a new one. We ordered these from Amazon and love the fact that they come with a travel case, something that should come standard.
They were €35.99 each.


2 - Glamour pocket, April 2019 issue (marox): This time, the Spanish magazine had a host of freebies, ranging from sunglasses -I wouldn't trust those too much- to a couple of Rituals goodies like this shower foam or the body cream that I had from some other magazine.
The foam is smaller than those from other lines, with 150ml instead of the usual 200ml. I think this retailed at €7.50, so with the magazine at €2.95 a pop, it was not a bad deal.

3 -  Woman Madame pocket edition, April 2019 issue (marox): Both the regular-sized magazine and the smaller one had freebies. The larger one had Sensilis products and the small one a large hand cream from Salerm and two different manicure sets, which is what I got. At €2 I thought it was a great deal.
The cream does have a great INCI and comes with an inner seal, which is great considering I have several ones open and that I have backups to last me a couple years maybe, lol.

The handcream retails for €8.50.

4 - Hyaluronic Acid Ampoule from Scinic: You know I'm faithful to this one, it's very cheap and works fine for me. I've been tempted to try others on the market like the one from Elizavecca, but eventually stuck to this.
As always, I got in on Ebay. Don't forget to make your purchases through a cashback website like *Beruby* or *Topcashback*.
As you can see, the package was completely smashed, even though it was well protected. Luckily, the serum inside survived.

5 - Missha Ampoule: I had purchased this previously for our mum and had tried it a few times. I will use this in combination with various sheet masks and sleeping packs.

6 - Oral B- Compatible Brush Heads from Lidl: These are sold for the Lidl electric toothbrush but they are compatible with most Oral B devices. They're only €4.99, although they're only available when they're selling their brushes.
So far both Marian and myself have tried these and they're good. That being said, some brush heads can be more stubborn to remove than others.

Productos terminados / 'Finito' products #67.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros "terminados" hasta el momento.

1 - Mascarillas Naturaleza y Vida:  Como véis, se trata de dos variedades diferentes.
Las teníamos en nuestra segunda residencia y quedaba ya muy poca cantidad. De momento, no repetiremos, ya que la verde, de la que tenemos otro bote que también está en las últimas, se nos queda corta.





2 -Manteca corporal Alba Botanica: Compré esta manteca hace ya un tiempo en Vitacost. Tenía un precio moderado. Como es habitual en esta tienda, los productos tienen una composición bastante más natural de lo que se suele encontrar en España.
Tiene un olor a frutos secos y como a caramelo muy agradable y que perdura en la piel. Me gusta aplicar siempre las mantecas sobre la piel mojada, así gasto menos cantidad y se extienden mejor.

3 - Gelatina para rizos 'Curling Custard' de Kinky Curly: Compré este producto hace ya bastante en Vitacost. Lo cierto es que no era nada barato, pero me apetecía probar un producto natural con buenas opiniones y este fue el escogido. Aunque deja el pelo bien, tampoco me ha parecido como para repetir, teniendo en cuenta que hay que pedirlo fuera.  Lo he usado a temporadas y lo que queda de producto se ha quedado reseco.

4 - Sombra en crema Metal Glam de Essence: La verdad es que de todas las sombras metal glam de tubo, ésta era la mejor con diferencia. Como véis ya está el tubo muy gastadito y ya cuesta que salga producto.

Es una pena que apenas se encuentren sombras con este formato. 

5 - Espuma baño Rituals, de la gama Ritual of Light: Como sabéis, suelo aprovechar las promociones de las revistas para hacerme con los productos de Rituals, y éste fue el caso en esta ocasión. Esta espuma tenía un olor a canela muy agradable, que perduraba algo en la piel.

6 - Crema corporal Rituals, Ritual of Ayurveda: Esta crema corporal, de la línea con rosa de la India y miel vino también de regalo con alguna revista. El olor no era nada empalagoso y también perdura algo en la piel.

7 - Mascarilla tissú con colágeno de Malie: Me vino con algún pedido de cosmética coreana hace ya una eternidad. Confesión: suelo "coleccionar" las muestras que vienen en los pedidos, es decir, que rara vez las uso y es algo que me he propuesto remediar.

8 - Manteca corporal de haba tonka y karité de Cien Nature:  Fue parte de una edición limitada. Curiosamente, varios de los productos han pasado luego al surtido permanente, pero no es el caso de este producto. Es un poco más pastosa que otras mantecas (TBS ó Deliplus, por ejemplo), pero no es una sensación desagradable. Simplemente, hay que masajearla un poco más para que penetre. Creo que costó unos 2€, así que no se le puede pedir la perfección, creo yo. El olor es como a frutos secos, suave.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties' so far.

1- Naturaleza y Vida Hair Masks: As you see, they are from two different ranges, the hair loss and Organic ones. We had these tubs in our second home and there was very little left of both. We won't repurchase for now, as we've noticed the green one was not as good to our hair as it used to be. Yes, we have another tub of this that is on its last legs too.

2 - Alba Botanica Body Butter: I bought this a while back off Vitacost. It was reasonably priced and as with pretty much anything you can get on this store, the ingredients are far better than the brands sold locally, at least in Spain.
It has a nutty, caramel scent to it that lingers on the skin. I like to apply all body butters on wet skin, as I use a smaller amount and they spread a lot easier.

 

3 - Kinky Curly's Curling Custard: I bought this long ago on Vitacost. I felt like splurging on a natural styling product that had good reviews to see what that was like and this is the one I went for. I leaves my hair looking good, but not to the point that would make me repurchase, considering you have to get this from abroad.  I've been using this on and off and the remaining product has now dried out.



4 - Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow: The truth is that from all the tube eyeshadows on this now discontinued range (or format) this one was by far the best. As you see, there was very little product left and you could barely get anything out.
It's a pity it's so damn hard to find eyeshadows in a tube.




5 - Rituals Foam Wash (black and gold bottle): As you know, I get all my Rituals products as magazine freebies and that was the case this time as well. This foam had a very captivating cinnamon scent that lingered on the skin a bit.

6 - Ritual of Ayurveda Body Cream: From their Indian Rose and Honey line, it was another magazine freebie. The scent was really nice and unobtrusive that lingers on the skin for a bit.

7 - Malie Collagen Sheet Mask: This came with some K-Beauty order a lifetime ago. Confession time: I 'collect' samples, meaning, I rarely use them and that's something I've vowed to change.

8 - Cien Nature Tonka bean and Shea body butter: It was part of a LE organic line. Strangely enough, other items in that limited edition are now permanently in stock, but that's not the case with this body butter. It is much thicker than others like TBS or the Spanish Deliplus, but it's not a deal breaker. All you have to do is massage it more into the skin until it soaks in. This was about €2, so I guess perfection in this price point would be too much to ask.
It has a pleasant, nutty scent.

Aquí venimos de nuevo a enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Máscara de pestañas 'V for Volume' en tono marrón de Sephora (marox):  La compré a ciegas para jubilar anticipadamente una de Deliplus que queda a pegotones. Lo cierto es que luego en Internet vi que tenía muy buenas opiniones. De momento me va bien. Aunque tiene el pincel grandote, me apaño bien. Deja las pestañas definidas y sin grumos.
Me costó 7.95€ y quizá con alguna promoción o en rebajas se encuentre más barata.

2 - Esmalte rojo Rimmel, tono #045 Flamenco Beach. Otro hallazgo del mercadillo. Se rompió el bote en casa, al sacarlo de la bolsa (nada grave). Creo que costó 3€.

3 - Compras en Sephora (Precios Locos): Picamos con dos de los Christmas Crackers que estaban rebajados. Por un lado, el de Skin Food, que contiene tres productos de cuidado facial. Nos los hemos repartido: Marian se ha quedado co el exfoliante de azúcar moreno y yo con los otros dos.
También se vino con nosotros otro de Too Faced que incluye una minitalla de la famosa prebase 'Shadow Insurance', otra de un labial líquido en el tono 'Fig', una minimáscara de pestañas 'Better than Sex' y un pin. Las minitallas traen aproximadamente la mitad de producto que el tamaño normal. Me ha dado la máscara de pestañas a mí. De momento sólo ha probado el labial.

El cracker de Skinfood costó 10€ y el de Too Faced 15€, así que creo que ha merecido mucho la pena comprarlo en rebajas.

4 - Revista Glamour Abril: Aunque tengo varias máscaras de pestañas pendientes de estrenar, como es un producto que conviene renovar regularmente, no me importa.
Como podéis ver, el regalo era en colaboración con Yves Rocher: o bien una máscara de pestañas (creo que había dos variedades diferentes) o dos esmaltes de uñas.
Elegí la máscara de pestañas.

5 - Revista Elle Abril: Traía un montón de suplementos y unos leggins moldeadores de NIVEA, que dependiendo de la tienda, tienen un precio de unos 20 euros. Es el tipo de producto que te provoca curiosidad, pero por el que no pagaríamos gran cosa. Es la talla L/XL, pero queda bastante apretadita.

La Woman trae espumas de Rituals, pero no había llegado aún. Me temo que caerá también.



Y así ha sido, como podéis ver. A mi kiosko habitual llegaron dos variedades de espuma, la roja y la verde. Compré la roja, que coincide que es la misma que estoy usando ahora, sólo que tiene un nombre diferente.

1 - 'V for Volume' mascara from Sephora in Brown (marox): This was a blind buy in an attempt to find a decent brown mascara that wouldn't break the bank, namely to replace a crappy Deliplus mascara that leaves my lashes all clumpy. I later googled this and discovered this had people raving. So far, it's working just as well for me. It does have one of those thick wands but I manage just fine. My lashes are well defined and with no clumps, thank God. 
I paid €7.95 for this and I guess you could get it for less during their sales or with some promo.

2 -  Rimmel nail polish in #045 Flamenco Beach: Another street market find. The bottle chipped here at home, when we got it out of the bag (nothing serious). It was €3, I believe.

3 - Sephora sales Haul: We did some damage and brought home two of their Christmas Crackers  that were on clearance. The Skinfood one contains three face products that we've shared like good sisters do: Marian got the black sugar scrub and I kept the other two.
Marian got the Two Faced cracker that comes with a mini size of their renowned Shadow Insurance primer, a liquid lipstick in the shade 'Fig', a mini size of their famous 'Better than Sex' mascara and a pin. The mini sizes are about half the size of the full sized product. She gave me the mascara. So far, she's only tried the lipstick and that was a hit.
The Skinfood cracker was €10 and the Too Faced one was €15, so I think we scored some great deals at their Sales.





4 - April Issue, Glamour magazine:
Even though I still have some mascaras waiting to be used, I don't mind getting another one, as it's that kind of stuff that has to be renewed often.
As you can see, the gift with this issue is a collaboration with Yves Rocher: either a mascara (I think there were two different ones) or two nail polishes.
I chose the mascara.

5- April issue, Elle magazine:
This time it includes a ton of special supplements and a pair of shaping leggings from Nivea, which depending on the store, cost about €20.
It's the kind of stuff one is curious about but not to the point to pay full retail price.
They're a size L/XL, but they are a bit on the tight side.



This month's issue of Woman Magazine is a collab with Rituals and there will be three different foam gels to choose from, but they weren't in yet, so I'll have to go back for those.

By the time I got my hands on them, my go-to kiosk only had two foams to choose from, the green one (Dao) and the cherry-red one (Ayurveda) which is the one I got. I happen to be using the same product right now, although mine has a different name and this is the new version.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul

Aquí estamos de nuevo a enseñaros nuestras compras más recientes.

 1-  Revista Marie Claire Noviembre.
En el blog de Joanna, Cosmética en Acción, sacó esta revista con su regalo, una crema hidratante de día de Yves Rocher y me pareció que era el regalo que merecía más la pena. Últimamente sólo compro revistas si traen algo decente de regalo.
Me está gustando la crema. La he usado tanto sola como mezclada con mi CC Cream para que ésta se extienda mejor.



2 - Esmaltes de uñas de Ego, en el tono 98, y de Skeyndor, en los tonos 17 y 315.
Todos han sido "hallazgos mercadilliles", y pronto los veréis "en acción" en nuestras manicuras.
Creo recordar que nos costaron 1 € cada uno.




3- Revista InStyle de Diciembre, con crema corporal de Rituals (marox):

Ya he comentado que desde hace algún tiempo sólo pico con las revistas si traen un regalo decente. Este lo estoy usando ya, y eso que tenía otro de la misma gama de otra revista más antigua. Soy lo peor.

4 - Gelatina de noche de Narüko: En realidad la compré para mi madre, pero no se fiaba mucho ella de acordarse de retirársela por la mañana. La probó un par de veces y me dijo que se notaba un ligero picor en la cara. Dicho esto, como no queremos potis tristes, decidí adoptarla y comprarle a ella otra crema. La elegida ha sido una de Innisfree que ya ha empezado a usar.
Me costó 13,96€ y la compré al vendedor *beautewalk*.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo.

Here we are again, to show you our latest purchases.

1- Marie Claire magazine, November Issue.
Joanna, from the blog 'Cosmética en acción', showed this magazine with the gift included, a moisturizing day cream from Yves Rocher.
I thought it was the monthly freebie that was worth it the most. Now I only buy fashion magazines when they include a really good gift.
So far I'm pleased with this face cream. I've used it both on its own and mixed with my CC Cream so that spreads more evenly.

2- Nail polishes from Ego, in the shade 98, and from Skeyndor, in the shades 17 and 315.
All of them are 'street market finds', and you'll see them soon 'in action' in our manis .
I think they were €1 each.





3 - InStyle Magazine with freebie, December issue (marox):
Like I've said, I no longer buy magazines unless they have a decent freebie. I'm already using this stuff, even though I happen to have another tube from this range from an older issue. I could slap myself, really.


4 - Narüko Night Gelly: I actually bought this for our mum, but she didn't trust herself when it came to washing it off in the morning. Besides, she tried it once or twice and noticed a tingling sensation on her face. Anyway, since we don't want any throwaway stuff, I adopted this myself and ordered something else for her. I got her a face cream from Innisfree she's already using.
This was €13.96 from seller *beautewalk*.

Productos terminados #61 - 'Finito' products #61.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1. Body spray "Body Fantasies Signature", en la fragancia "Pink Sweet Pea Fantasy" (Marox).
Lo compró en Alimerka (lo tienen en el stand de Essence), y de los que había (hay unas 6 ó 7 variedades) fue el que más le gustó.
Tiene una fragancia floral suave y agradable.
Nos ha gustado mucho a las dos (yo también lo he probado).
Creo que en Estados Unidos algunas afortunadamente los consiguen en el Dollar Tree tirados de precio. Creo que le costó unos 3 euros.



2. Coletero Invisibobble. (Marox).
Lo ha usado muchísimo. Le encantan este tipo de coleteros, porque no dejan marca.
Como en el envase venían 3, todavía le quedan otros dos para seguir usando.
Los compró por 3,90€ en Fapex (ahora *Notino*), que como sabéis, entra por *Beruby* y *Shoppiday*.

3. Máscara de pestañas "I Love Extreme" de Essence (Marian).
Me ha gustado mucho, porque da volumen y no apelmaza las pestañas.
No me importaría repetir con ella.



4. Aceite desmaquillante "Asian Sensations" de Belle (Marian).
Me encanta. Estoy usando otro de la misma marca ahora mismo, pero lamentablemente, cuando se me acabe, ya no podré comprar más, porque ya no tenemos ningún Eroski aquí ni en Zamora, que fue de donde vinieron.
Pero tengo fichada una recetilla para hacerlo casero. Cuando la haga, ya os la enseñaré.

5. Espuma de ducha "Happy Buddha" de Rituals (Marox).
Vino de regalo con una revista que compró. Ahora sólo compra las revistas cuando traen un regalo interesante, y éste, sin duda lo fue.
Yo también lo he probado, y a las dos nos encantó su aroma afrutado.
La verdad es que es un chollo encontrar este tipo de productos como regalo con algunas revistas. La pena es que muchas veces, estos regalos tan apetecibles no llegan a todas las ciudades.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties'.
1 - 'Body Fantasies Signature' in the scent 'Pink Sweet Pea Fantasy' Body Spray (marox): I bought this at the neighbourhood supermarket, Alimerka, which keeps this inside the Essence counter. There was a total of 6 or 7 scents and from all the ones I tested this was the one I liked best. It has a soft flowery scent that was really nice. We both liked it very much, since Marian tried this too.
I believe this is a steal in the US, since they sell these at the Dollar Tree. I think she paid about 3 euros for this.

2 -  Invisibobble hair bands (Marox): She's used these a lot, as it doesn't leave marks on your hair. The pack contained three of these, so she still has another two left.
She bought this for €3.90 from Fapex Beautyspin (now Notino *US / UK*) and also got some cashback from the leading Spanish cashback sites.



3 -Essence 'I love Extreme' mascara (Marian): I really liked this volumizing mascara, as it doesn't clump my lashes. I'd repurchase in a heartbeat.

4 - Belle 'Asian Sensations' makeup remover oil (Marian):
I love it. I'm using another bottle from the same brand now, but when I use that up too I will no longer be able to repurchase, as this was the name brand of a local supermarket no longer available, neither here nor in our hometown Zamora, which was where I bought these from.
But I do have a DIY recipe for this that I'll share with you as soon as I test it.



5 - 'Happy Buddha' Shower Foam by Rituals (Marox):
It was a magazine freebie. She now only buys magazines if they include something nice to try and this was indeed the case. I have used this myself too and we both loved the fruity scent.
Don't you love freebies like this with magazines? The downside is that all the nice gifts are not always available nationwide.

Productos terminados #47 - 'Finito' products #47.

Aquí estamos de nuevo con otra entrada de "terminados", tras nuestro descanso vacacional. Poco a poco intentaremos dar salida a algunas de las entradas que teníamos en borrador, mientras preparamos las dedicadas a nuestra última escapada.

1- Lápiz de ojos automático "Perfect look kajal" de P2 (Marian).
Lo encargué en un poticamelleo que hicimos con una bloguera residente en Alemania.
Ya lo había probado antes (compré uno de éstos cuando estuvimos de viaje en Berlín), y me encantó. Hasta ese momento no había probado ninguno que pigmentara tan bien en la línea de agua, así que cuando se me presentó esta ocasión, supe que tenía que repetir con él.
Ya tengo un sustituto que me está dando un resultado francamente bueno. Ya os hablaré de él.



2- Maquillaje mineral de Alverde (Marian).
Este sí que fue de nuestro viaje a Berlín.
Os preguntaréis que por qué me ha durado tanto tiempo. Pues bien, porque mientras usaba BB creams como maquillaje, como mucho lo usaba para matificar.
Pero últimamente sólo he usado este producto para maquillarme, sobre todo cuando tengo prisa, porque es muy rápido de usar.
No es fácil repetir con la marca, así que para este producto también tengo sustituto, esta vez en formato compacto, que me parece mucho más práctico.

3- Exfoliante de arroz, de Rituals (Marox). Si recordáis, vino de regalo con la revista Glamour el año pasado y probablemente yo sea la última persona del mundo blogger en acabarlo, jeje.
La verdad es que me ha gustado mucho. El grano es efectivo sin resultar agresivo. Si queremos una exfoliación más fuerte, conviene humedecer poco la piel.
Como siempre digo, preferiría que fuera en formato tarro porque se aprovecha hasta el final, pero a caballo regalado (o casi)...



4- Cabezal "Trizone" de Oral B (Marian).
Como ya sabréis, es el que más me gusta de los que he probado, así que repito con él muchas veces.

5- Desodorante roll-on de Desert Essence (Marox). Me sorprendió encontrar un desodorante natural con este formato, ya que casi todos son en stick. Lo compré en Vitacost. Aunque me ha gustado, no cunde mucho y se gastó más pronto de lo esperado, así que de momento, no repito.

6- Manteca corporal de papaya de TBS (Marox). Es de las que suelen rebajar a menudo, así que aprovechad los últimos coletazos de las rebajas (online y en tienda) para haceros con alguna.

7- Sombras en crema Stay All Day, de Essence (Marox). Apenas las he usado y las doy por terminadas porque estaban como una piedra. Si conseguías coger un poco de producto, no había manera de distribuirlo uniformemente por el párpado.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por el momento.

Here we are again with a new post of 'empties', after our brief holiday break. We'll try to finish off the blogs we'd drafted while we write new travel-related ones featuring our latest getaway.

1- 'Perfect look kajal' automatic eye pencil from P2 (Marian).
I ordered it when we did a stash deal with a Spanish blogger living in Germany.
I already tried it before (I bought one when we were in Berlin), and I loved it. Until that time I hadn't tried a pencil with such a great pigmentation on the waterline, so when I had the occasion, I knew that I had to repurchase it.
Now I have another 'replacement' which is really good. I'll tell you about it when the time comes.


2- Loose Mineral Makeup from Alverde (Marian).
This one was from our trip to Berlin.
You'll probably be wondering about why I have had it for such a long time.
Well, when I was using BB creams to do my makeup, I used just a bit of this mineral makeup to matify my skin.
But lately I've been using only this product as my foundation, especially when I'm in a hurry, because it's really quick to use.
It's not easy for me to repurchase anything from this brand, so I already have a 'replacement' from another brand (but in compact powder format, which is more practical).



3- Rice scrub, from Rituals (Marox). This was a magazine freebie from last year, I think, It was one of many from Glamour magazine here in Spain. I'm probably the last person in the Spanish blogging community to finish this off.
I liked this very much, to be honest. The scrub particles are effective and yet not rough. For a more hardcore scrubbing, it's best not to apply on too wet skin.
As I always say, I'd like it even more if it came in a tub, as it's easier to use to the very end, but never look a gift (or magazine freebie) horse in the mouth...


4- 'Trizone' head brush, from Oral B (Marian).
As you surely know, this is the one I like the most, so I repeat with it again and again.



5- Roll-on deodorant from Desert Essence (Marox). I was surprised to find a natural deodorant in a roll-on format, as most of them come in a stick. I purchased this at Vitacost.

6- Papaya body butter from TBS (Marox). It's one of the butters you'll find a good deal for at the sales. Check their selection now, as their sales (both online and in store) will soon come to an end.

7- 'Stay All Day' cream eye shadows from Essence (Marox). I have rarely used this but am considering as empty because they're rock hard and whatever product you manage to scrape is hard to spread evenly on the eyelid.
