Hola, chicas:   Parece que poco a poco se va instalando el frío entre nosotros, al menos por Castilla. Así que coged una mantita y pasad con nosotras unas minutos, leyendo sobre nuestros últimos terminados.   1 - Gel argán TBS: Me hice con este gel gracias a una revista, probablemente Glamour, hace unos meses. Con muy poca cantidad cunde. Nos ha gustado mucho a las 2. De esta linea únicamente había probado un bálsamo labial en formato latita. Me gustaría probar la manteca corporal correspondiente, así que ojalá vuelvan las revistas a hacer colaboraciones de este tipo para hacernos con más productos. Gracias a estas colaboraciones, suelo tener solucionadas las 'potiduchas'. Tengo otros 2 por gastar, de otros números de la revista, el último vino con la edición mini, así que salió todavía más a cuenta que éste, que vino con el tamaño grande de la revista. 2 - Desodorante Sanex 0%: Lo compramos en Primaprix, donde solemos comprar este tipo de cosas últimamente. Nos ha gustado mucho y aunque no lo hemos vuelto a ver, lo tendremos en cuenta para el futuro. 3 - Mascarilla tissú Sephora de té verde (marox): Compré esta mascarilla en rebajas, como podéis ver y he tardado algo en usarla. Es de las que tenéis que retirar una capa antes de ponerla.  Con estas mascarillas suele sobrar esencia: yo suelo guardar el sobrante en la nevera y me suele dar para un par de usos. Hacedlo con precaución, eso sí.     4 - Exfoliante 'Fortune Scrub' de Rituals: Vino con una revista hace una eternidad. Llevaba tiempo en mmi ducha pero lo usé mucho al principio y luego rarara vez me acordaba de él. Eso sí, es muy agradable de usar, no está suspendido en aceite como otro que tengo a medias en formato tarro. Aunque suelo ser partidaria de los tarros por aquello de que se aprovechan más los productos, en este caso prefiero este tipo de exfoliante, pero por la fórmula en sí.      5 - Mousse rizos Deliplus: Ya no está a la venta desde hace tiempo. Me gustaba mucho en su momento, pero desde que empezamos a usar el Potion 9 la usábamos esporádicamente. La última vez que intenté usarla la textura había cambiado, así que a la basura sin dudarlo.    6 - Base para uñas 'Better than Gel Nails' de Essence: Siempre ha sido una de mis favoritas, especialmente teniendo en cuenta su precio. Ésta estaba en nuestra segunda casa y la pobre está toda pastosa, así que se va a la basura. Esto ha sido todo por el momento. Hasta pronto.

Hi girls,   It's slowly getting colder, at least here in Castille. So cozy up and spend a few minutes reading about  our latest 'empties'.   1 - TBS Argan Oil shower gel: I got my hands on this shower gel as a magazine freebie, most likely with Glamour, a few months ago. A little really goes a long way with this. We liked it very much. The only product I'd tried from their argan line was a lip balm in a tin jar. I'd love to try the body butter, so fingers crossed that they'll partner again with the brand so I can test other stuff too. Thanks to these collabs, my 'pleasure showers' are taken care of. I still have another 2 left, from different lines. They came with other issues, the last one with the pocket edition which is an even better deal than this was. 2 - Sanex 0% Deodorant: We bought this at Primaprix outlet supermarket, where we tend to get all this stuff lately. We liked it a lot and although we haven't seen it again there, we'll keep an eye on it for a future visit.     3 - Sephora Green Tea Sheet Mask (marox): I bought this at a sale, as you can see, but it's taken me a while to use it. It does have a protective layer you need to peel off before you put it on. As with most sheet masks, there is leftover essence, so I keep them in the fridge and the remaining product is enough for a couple uses. Do this at your own risk, though. 4 - Rituals 'Fortune Scrub': This was a magazine freebie, a lifetime ago. It's been in my shower for a really long time. Long story short: used it often at first but then sort of forgot about it. It is really nice to use, though, it isn't an oil-based scrub like another I have in use that comes in a tub. Although I normally go for products that come in a tub, I'd rather get this, but not because of the format but the formula itself.    5 - Styling mousse for curly hair from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): It's no longer available and hasn't been in a while. I loved it back then, but ever since we switched to Potion9 I used it once in a blue moon. Last time I tried to do so, the texture was really funky, so it goes straight into our dustbin.      6 -  Essence 'Better than Gel Nails' base sealer: It's always been one of my favourites, especially considering how affordable it is. This was in our second home and it was all gooey, so I had to throw it away.   This is all for now. See you around.

Compras varias / Sundry Haul 2020 (II)

Aquí estamos de nuevo, para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Champú 97% natural de Deliplus (marox): Ya teníamos este champú en casa de mis padres. Para ser sin SLS hace espuma y es agradable de usar. Compré otro para tener yo durante la cuarentena, ya que me gusta tener varios champús y suelo ir alternando. Contiene extractos de tilo, salvia y cedro. Cuesta 1,95€

2 - ManteK Mar Muerto de Deliplus (marox): Tenía un par de ellas en casa de mis padres, pero claro, por entonces no estaba con ellos pasando la cuarentena y de poco me servían. De momento, sólo la he probado en la mano y parece agradable.
Cuesta 3,80€

3 - Gel de ducha 98% Natural de Deliplus (marox): Este sí que no lo he probado, aunque por lo que tengo entendido está muy bien también. Cuesta 1,50€

4 - Recambio cepillos Deliplus (compatibles con Oral B) - (marox): No los he probado aún. Cuestan 3.95€



5 - Esmalte Wet n Wild 'Stay Classy' (marox): Pertenece a la linea 1 Step Wonder Gel. Lo compré en un hipermercado Lupa que me queda muy cerca del piso donde estoy viviendo este curso, aprovechando que salí a hacer la compra semanal. Precio: 2,99€
En breve tendréis una manicura con este esmalte.

6- Champú L'Oreal Elvive de jojoba (Marian).
Se me estaba terminando el champú sólido que compré en Druni, y compré éste en Alcampo.
Lo elegí por su grado de hidratación y nutrición, pues el pelo rizado tiende a ser bastante seco.
Lo he probado ya, y la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho. Me ha dejado el pelo con mucho brillo.

 7 - Revista Glamour mayo (marox): Ha sido la única que he comprado este mes de momento. Las demás no traían regalo o no habían llegado aún. Al igual que en meses anteriores, la revista en sí muy pobre de contenido. Hay folletos de tiendas con más información.

Here we are again, to show you our latest purchases.

1 - Deliplus -Mercadona 97% Natural Shampoo (marox): We have this one at my parents'. Surprisingly for an SLS-free shampoo, it does lather nicely. I bought another one for myself during the lockdown, since I like to rotate the ones I have. It contains lime blossom, sage, and cedar extracts. It retails for €1.95

2 - Deliplus ManteK Body Butter (marox): I have a few TBS body butters at my parents' but they were obviously of little use there to me, as I wasn't spending lockdown with them back then. So far I've only tested this on the back of my hand and seems good enough.
It retails for €3.80.

3 - Deliplus 98% Natural Shower Gel (marox): I haven't used this one yet, but it does have positive reviews. It retails for €1.50

4 - Deliplus electric toothbrush heads (Oral B compatible)-(marox): Haven't tested them yet. They retail for €3.95

5 - Wet n Wild nail polish in the shade 'Stay Classy' (marox): It is from their 1 Step Wonder Gel line. I bought this from a local hypermarket that happens to be a stone's throw from where I'm living this year -and initially quarantining- in my weekly outing to go grocery shopping. This retailed at €2.99. Expect a mani with this shade real soon.

 
6- Jojoba shampoo from L'Oreal Elvive (Marian).
I was about to finish the shampoo bar I bought at Druni, so I purchased this one at Alcampo.
I chose this one for its high nutrition, as curly hair tends to be quite dry.
I've already used it, and I like it much. It leaves my hair shiny. 

7 - Glamour magazine May (marox): It's the only one I got this month so far. The others either didn't make it to my kiosk just yet or didn't have any interesting freebies. As for the magazine itself, really poor when it comes to the content. Some chain store magazines may be more informative than this.

Productos terminados #51 - 'Finito' products #51.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros las cositas que hemos terminado últimamente.


1- Fluido protector rápida absorción FPS 50+ de Solcare (Marian).
Lo he usado este verano, bien solo o debajo del maquillaje. Lo compré el año pasado (creo), y aunque todavía quedaba producto, la fórmula ya no estaba en condiciones óptimas, así que lo he tirado.



2- BB mousse de Flormar (Marian).
La compré hace algo más de un año, y la he estado usando a diario, como maquillaje.
Al principio me quedaba bien de color, pero con el tiempo se me quedó oscura, y con un tono algo anaranjado (¿oxidación?).
No obstante, he esperado a que se me terminara. Para que el color no quedara tan oscuro, he estado usando la prebase de maquillaje de Art Deco, que es blanquecina.
No repetiré con ella.

3- Sleeping pack Honey de Holika Holika (Marox).
Me he propuesto intentar usar las muchas muestras que regalan con revistas, o pedidos de cosmética asiática. Sería una pena tenerlas que tirar sin tan siquiera haberlas usado.
Me gustó este sleeping pack, no me resultó excesivamente grasiento ni pegajoso. Sin embargo, le tengo echado el ojo a otro para cuando acabe el que estoy usando.
En cualquier caso, ya sabéis que una muestrita no siempre es suficiente para hacer que nos decidamos por un producto. Mi madre siempre dice que la calidad de las muestras es mucho mejor que el producto que luego compras. En mi caso, alguna vez se ha cumplido. 



4- Serum pestañas Etude House (Marox). La pinta que tiene creo que indica porqué lo he jubilado. No soy nada constante con estos productos: los uso una temporada y luego me olvido de ellos.

5- Desodorante Tom's (Marian).
Lo he terminado durante nuestra estancia en Londres. De hecho, la foto está hecha en la habitación del hotel.
Me ha gustado mucho, porque protege adecuadamente.
Otros desodorantes sin sales de aluminio se me quedan un poco cortos y "me abandonan", sobre todo ciertos días al mes.
No me importaría repetir con él.



Bien, pues esto ha sido todo de momento.

Here we are again, ready to share with you our thoughts on the products we've used up lately.

1 - Quick-absorbing face sunscreen 50+ SPF, Solcare (Mercadona supermarkets - Marian):
 I used it this summer, either on its own or underneath my makeup. I bought it the year before -or so I believe- and although there was still some left, the texture had changed and wasn't safe to use.

2 - Flormar BB Mousse (Marian): I purchased this a little over a year ago and I'd been using it daily as my everyday makeup. At first, the colour looked right but over time, it turned dark with an orange tint to it (oxidizing?).
Anyway, I used it up all the same. In order to tone the color down a bit, I used Art Deco's primer, which is completely white. I wouldn't repurchase.



3 - Holika Holika Honey Sleeping pack (Marox)
I'm on a secret mission to try and use the many samples that come either in magazines or with Korean skincare orders. It would be a pity to throw them away unused, wouldn't it?
I liked this sleeping pack, as it didn't seem too oily or sticky. But I have another one on my wishlist, once I've finished the one I'm using at the moment.
Anyway, you know it's hard to decide whether you like a product enough to make a purchase with a single sachet. My mum is of the opinion that the quality of samples is far better than the product you get when you buy a full-sized version. And in my experience, it turned out to be true a couple of times.

4- Eyelashes serum from Etude House (Marox). A quick look at the photo will be enough to discover why I'm throwing this away. I'm afraid I'm not consistent using certain products: use them a lot at first and then forget about them.




5- Deodorant from Tom's (Marian).
I used it up during our stay in London.
In fact, the pic was taken in our hotel room.
I like it very much, as it provides suitable protection.
Other deodorants without aluminium chlorhydrate 'leave me in the lurch', specially during those days of the month, you see.
I wouldn't mind repurchasing it.

Mis regalos de navidad / My Xmas presents

¿Qué tal se han portado Papá Noel y los Reyes Magos con vosotras? Yo no me puedo quejar, como podéis ver a continuación.

En primer lugar, recibí de Marian lo siguiente:

1 - Esta preciosa pulsera esmaltada es una imitación de las pulseras Frey Wille que ví por primera vez en Viena hace ya unos años. Las originales cuestan unos 1000€ y estas imitaciones chinas de Aliexpress como podréis imaginar, son muucho más económicas.
Sin embargo, el acabado está muy cuidado y tiene un curioso cierre. El vendedor cuidó también la presentación, ya que mandó la pulsera en una bonita cajita.

2 - Exfoliante corporal 'Tradition de Hammam' de Yves Rocher: Marian sabe que éste es uno de mis exfoliantes favoritos y que hacía tiempo que no lo probaba, así que en una visita a Yves Rocher me compró uno. Todavía no lo he abierto, aunque *ya* os hemos hablado otras veces de sus virtudes. Esta tienda suele tener ofertas de 2x1 ó descuentos varios, que vienen bien porque sin descuentos vale 23€, que me parece demasiado.

3 - Exfoliante de pies lisos de lavanda de Yves Rocher: Y siguiendo con los exfoliantes, Marian sabía también que le tenía echado el ojo a este exfoliante para pies y decidió regalármelo también por Navidad. Aunque aún no puedo llevar las uñas de los pies pintadas - mis supuestos "hongos de las uñas" han resultado ser un caso rebelde de psoriasis en las uñas - al menos me gusta que se vean cuidados a la vista y suaves al tacto.



4 - Bálsamo reparador para pies de lavanda de Yves Rocher: Al igual que el anterior, otro producto para tener los pies hidratados y suaves.

5 - Funda para guardar el libro electrónico sujeto con el colchón, hecha por Marian.
Para hacerla, aprovechó un trozo de tela que le quedó de cuando hizo la tapicería para la butaca y el reposapiés que os enseñó en su día.
Me he llevado una grata sorpresa, porque no me lo esperaba.

Por parte de mis padres, aparte de algo de dinero -que siempre viene bien- recibí lo siguiente:

6 - Anillo de plata bañado en oro rosa: Comprado en una tienda local (Zenz, en Zamora).



7- Pendientes de bisutería oro rosa: Comprado en la misma tienda que lo anterior. Como este tipo de pendientes suelen darme alergia, procuro no llevarlos varios días seguidos. Quedan muy bonitos puestos y me gusta que no lleven cierre de tuerca.

8 - Colonia "Como la noche" de Deliplus (Mercadona): Se me terminó la que estaba usando -y que pronto veréis en otra entrega de productos terminados - así que decidí probar una diferente. Sé que las de Deliplus tienen muchas adeptas, así que me decidí por esta, puesto que leí que recordaba a dos de mis perfumes favoritos: J'Adore de Christian Dior y Lolita Lempicka. Precio: 9€/100ml.
Aunque no es un parecido muy notable, me gusta como huele.

A continuación, un autorregalo:

9 - CD / DVD 'Travelling the world' de Roxette: Pues sí, me dí un caprichito y me hice con el último lanzamiento de mi grupo favorito, a los que tuve el placer de ver en concierto en el 2001 en Barcelona y diez años después en Tallinn (Estonia) -*aquí*-.
Lo pedí a Amazon -*aquí*-, que como siempre, ofrece un servicio de primera y un precio muy competitivo. Existe una versión en BlueRay.

Y por último, un gasto importante con el que no había contado para nada. Afortunadamente, tanto mis padres como Marian me ayudaron con un pellizquito.
Hace un año se me ocurrió la "brillante idea" de cambiar de coche, porque el que tenía -comprado importado de segunda mano- ya llevaba bastante conmigo y mis padres me animaron a que me cogiera un modelo mejor, "más coche", también comprado importado de segunda mano. Pues para mi desgracia, ese coche "mejor" lo he tenido que vender en el plazo de un año, tras llevar gastados cerca de 2.000€ en arreglos. Eso para mí, que odio conducir y apenas lo he usado -conmigo ese coche no habrá hecho ni 50 km de carretera, bastante más en ciudad-, es inadmisible. Lo dicho, que en 10.000km de uso no me parece ni medio normal semejante desembolso.
Así que tras recorrer varios concesionarios de la competencia, encontré un coche de Km0 (bueno, con 6km, para no mentir), ya matriculado, que tenía todo lo que yo necesitaba: cambio automático, sensores de aparcamiento, etc.
Lo cierto es que es un modelo bastante más grande de lo que estaba acostumbrada y me gusta (compacto de buen tamaño), pero me lo dejaron a buen precio, venía muy bien equipado y me dieron bastante por el coche que entregaba.

Espero tener mucha más suerte con mi tercer coche, aunque el "estreno" no ha sido todo lo bueno que habría sido deseable: Al montarme las ruedas de invierno que yo ya tenía en el concesionario, me estropearon -la máquina la  pinchó- una de las ruedas traseras  y me tocó cambiar ese par de ruedas.
Ya os imaginaréis qué gracia me hizo el tema, pero me consuelo pensando en que el coche es tan inteligente que me avisó del problema y con otro coche, hubiera conducido feliz en la ignorancia con grave riesgo de sufrir un reventón, con todo lo que eso conlleva.
El concesionario ha aceptado hacerse cargo del 50% de la factura. Confío en que ese sea el único problema que me dé en mucho, muuucho tiempo.
*Edito: Hoy día 15 de enero me lo han pagado.

Did you get many presents from Santa and the Three Wise Men? As for myself, I cannot really complain, as you can see below.

To start with, I received the following presents from Marian:

1 - This gorgeous enamel bracelet is a copy of the Frey Wille ones I first saw in Vienna some years ago. The original ones cost around €1,000, whereas these Aliexpress Chinese copies are waay cheaper.
Cheaper, definitely, but not cheap-looking. I was pleasantly surprised by the polished look this one has. The clasp is very curious and the seller made his due by sending the bracelet in a beautiful gift box.

2 - Yves Rocher 'Tradition de Hammam' Body Scrub:  Marian knows this is one of my fave body scrubs and that I hadn't used this in a while, so she got me a tub during her last visit to the Yves Rocher store. Haven't opened it yet, though we've *already* told you why we like it so much. The store usually has 2x1 offers or discounts of some sort, because otherwise this costs €23 with no such things, which is way too much imo.



3 - Lavender Foot polishing scrub from Yves Rocher: And on the subject of scrubs, Marian also knew that I had my eyes on this foot scrub and added it to her shopping basket this Christmas. Though unfortunately I still cannot wear nail polish on my toenails - it turned out my alledged 'nail fungus' was actually a really bad case of nail psoriasis - I like to take care of my feet so they look nice and soft to the touch.

4 - Lavender Foot Repair Balm from Yves Rocher: Just like the previous one, another product to keep my feet moisturized and soft.

5 - Handmade case for my e-reader, made by Marian. To be used to store the device under the matress.
She used a piece of fabric that was left when she made the upholstery for both her armchair and footstool that you could see in this blog.
It's been a big surprise for me, because I didn't expect it.



And from my parents, these are the gifts I got, besides some money -which always comes handy.

6 - Pink gold plated silver ring: Bought from a local store.

7 - Golden pink earrings: Purchased from the same store as the above. As I usually get a rash after wearing these sort of jewellery, I try not to wear them for many days straight. They look very pretty when worn and I like the fact that they don't come with screw backs.

8 - 'Como la noche (Like the night) Deliplus fragrance: I'd finished the one I'd been using -soon to be featured in another Empties post - so I decided to find a quick replacement in my latest visit to the nearest Mercadona supermarket. I know their range of fragrances have lots of fans, so I chose this after reading it reminded people of two of my favourite perfumes: J'Adore by Christian Dior and Lolita Lempicka. Price: €9 per 100ml.
Though it's not a spot-on resemblance, I like the scent all the same.

And next, this was a present to myself:

9 - 'Travelling the World' CD/DVD by Roxette: So what, I treated myself to a little something this XMas and bought the latest release of my favourite band, whom I had the pleasure of seeing live in concert both back in 2001 in Barcelona and then again 10 years later in Tallinn (Estonia) -*here*.
I ordered it off Amazon -*here*- which as usual, offers first-class service and very competitive prices. There's another edition in BlueRay.

And finally, a large investment I had not been planning to make this Christmas. Thankfully, both my parents and Marian chipped in with some needed funds.
About a year ago I had the 'brilliant idea' of getting a new car, because my first car -a second-hand imported model- had already been with me for a good while and my parents were pushing me to buy myself a "better, more proper car", a second-hand import too.
Well, unfortunately I just had to sell this "better car" about a year later, because I had spent almost €2,000 in repairs. To me, who abhor driving and only drive if pushed - this second car had barely been taken on the road by me, making 50km at most, most of my driving was downtown- this was unacceptable. I didn't think it was
After visiting several local cardealers from rival makes, I found a car with almost 0Km (with 6km on it, to be exact), already licensed, which had everything I needed it to have: automatic transmission, parking sensors and others.
The truth is that this new car is larger than what I was used to and like (a good-sized SUV-type), but I got a pretty good deal, the car was really almost fully equipped and they gave me a decent enough amount of money for my former car.

I really, really hope to be luckier with my third car, though I'm afraid the first trip with it wasn't exactly uneventful: when mounting my former winter tyres, the guys at the car dealer's garage damaged -well, the machine made a flat on it- one the rear tyres and I had no choice but to replace both. 
You can imagine how pissed off I was, though in its favour I have to say the car's diagnosis system informed me of the problem straight away. In any other car, I might have gone on driving, blissfully ignorant and could have had a blow-out, which would have scared the s*it out of me for life. The car dealer has agreed to refund me 50% of the bill. I trust this will be the only problem with it in a really long, long time. 
*Edit: I got the refund today, 15th January.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros las compras que hemos hecho últimamente.

Hi everyone!
Here we are again to show you the purchases we've made recently.

1 - Crema corporal con aceite de Jojoba de Deliplus (marox): Cogí este producto, una de las últimas novedades de Mercadona en mi última visita a dicho supermercado. Probé el tester en la tienda y me pareció que hidrataría bien, además de que me gustó el olor.
Hidrata bastante bien, más que las Fruit Fusion, por ejemplo. Precio: 1,90€.

2- Esmalte de secado Poshé: Aprovechando que le iba a coger uno a Marian por su cumpleaños, me pedí otro para mí. Lo compré al vendedor de Ebay nailswestcom y me costaron 7,50$ cada uno (el vendedor no hace descuento por envío combinado, pero marcó sólo la mitad del importe en la declaración de aduanas).

3- Esmalte 'Grunge Me Tender' de la EL 'Floral Grunge' de Essence: Lo tenían en Bustillo en liquidación a 1,29€ y decidí darle una oportunidad. Ya lo he usado y os lo enseñaré pronto, pero aquí os dejo un adelanto.

En una visita a Bodybell (desde que venden Essence vamos con más frecuencia que antes), nos hicimos con los siguientes productos.

4 y 5- Brillo de labios de Essence en el tono "Me & my icecream", de la línea "Stay with me" (Marian). Es un tono rosa clarito. Por el que sí nos decidimos las dos fue por el brillo de labios, también de Essence "Deep Rose". Es un tono rosado liláceo, que nos encantó. Costaron 1,29€ cada uno.

6- Lápiz de ojos resistente al agua de Essence, de la línea "Stays no matter what", en el tono "Midnight black" (Marian). Hice una pequeña prueba en la tienda, y me gustó mucho su pigmentación y textura. Costó 1,99€.



7-Sombra de ojos de Essence en el tono "Out of the blue" (Marian). Es un color azul oscuro con destellitos. Costó 1,99€.

8- Esmalte de uñas de Rimmel London, de la línea "Metal Rush" (Marian). Es un esmalte duocromo, que se ve lila o verde claro según cómo le dé la luz. Todavía no lo he estrenado, pero no tardaré en hacerlo, porque es un color que me encanta.
En Mercadona hemos visto hoy unos de Astor igualitos, pero por 1,99€. Este costó 4,99€.

Bien, pues estas han sido nuestras compras hasta el momento. Habéis comprado algo últimamente?

1- Jojoba oil Body Cream from Deliplus (marox): Grabbed this new product on my latest visit to my nearest Mercadona supermarket. I tried the tester on site and thought it was moisturising enough. I also liked the pleasing smell. 
It is quite moisturising, more than their Fruit Fusion body creams, for instance. Price: €1.90.

2- Poshé topcoat: I was going to get one for Marian's birthday, so I also ordered one for myself. Seller's name is nailswestcom and I paid USD 7.50 for each bottle -the seller does not offer any discount for combined shipping, but the items were marked half their value in the Customs Declaration form-.

3- 'Grunge Me Tender' nail polish from the Essence 'Floral Grunge' LE: Our local beauty supplies store had it on the discounted basket at €1.29, so I grabbed it. I've already worn this and will show it to you on a forthcoming post, but here's a sneak peek.

On a recent visit to Bodybell (where we go much more often since they now sell Essence), we bought the items below.

4 and 5- Essence lipgloss in the shade 'Me & my icecream', from the range 'Stay with me' (Marian). It's a light pink shade. Both Marox and I decided to buy the Essence lipgloss 'Deep Rose', in a lilac pink shade, which we loved at once. They cost €1.29 each.

6- Waterproof eyepencil from Essence, from the range 'Stays no matter what', in the shade 'Midnight Black' (Marian). I made a swatch at the store, and I liked both its pigmentation and the texture. It cost €1.99.

7- Essence eyeshadow in the shade 'Out of the blue' (Marian), in a dark blue shade with reflections. It cost €1.99.

8- Nail polish from Rimmel London, from the range 'Metal Rush' (Marian). It's a duochrome polish, with either a lilac or a light green shade, depending on how the light hits on it. I haven't used it yet, but I guess this won't take long, because I love the shade. 
We went shopping to a Mercadona supermarket today and saw a cheaper dupe from Astor, that was only €1.99. This cost €4.99.

Mucho decir que estamos servidas de muchos potis, pero la carne es débil y hemos vuelto a pecar con algunas cosillas.

So much for saying we had enough makeup for a good while, but oh, the flesh is weak and we've given in and bought a few goodies.

1- Rouge Allure Lacquers de Chanel y barra de YSL: Creo que en otras ocasiones os hemos comentado que en el mercadillo de aquí suelen tener cosas interesantes. Allí hemos encontrado por ejemplo, los productos de *L'Oreal HiP*, que como sabéis, no se venden en España. Pues en una visita que hizo Marox al mercadillo que ponen los miércoles cerca de aquí, no pudo dejar estas maravillas en el puesto. Por desgracia, en el último puesto en el que compró, tenían los productos tres euros más baratos. ¡Qué rabia! La barra de YSL y uno de los labiales líquidos de Chanel costaron 8 euros y los dos restantes, 5€.




1- Chanel Rouge Allure Lacquers and YSL Lipsticks: I think we've already told you about the local street market and how every now and then they bring some interesting makeup stuff. We got our *L'Oreal HiP* from there, and it's a brand that is not sold here in Spain. Well, in an unplanned visit to the market that is held on Wednesdays in the neighbourhood, she couldn't walk past and leave these goodies behind. Unfortunately, some of these products were €3 cheaper on the second stall she visited. It sucks when that happens!! The YSL lipstick and one of the fluid cream lip colours from Chanel were 8 EUR each and the other two, 5 EUR.

2- Monogotas coco Deliplus (Marian): Para utilizar mientras marox no está, ya que no soporta el olor a coco. Junto con la de vainilla y la de mora, ahora se puede encontrar de forma permanente en los supermercados Mercadona, al módico precio de 1,65€. Por cierto, que en la última visita a Mercadona, nos hemos fijado en que la crema corporal de argán ha subido de precio y ahora cuesta 1,90€, es decir, diez céntimos más cara.



2- Monogotas body lotion from Deliplus (for Marian): She'll use it in marox absence, as she cannot stand coconut-scented products. It is now sold on a permanent basis, together with the vanilla and blackberry ones for the very friendly price of 1.65 EUR. By the way, during our latest visit to Mercadona, we noticed the Argan oil body cream has also suffered from the brand's price rise policy and is now 1.90 EUR, that is, 10 cents more expensive.

3- Body Spray "Azul de Agua" de Deliplus: Un nuevo lanzamiento, que venía acompañado de un gel de baño y una crema corporal en formato tubo, que no compramos. Nos gustan mucho este tipo de productos, especialmente para después de la ducha. Costó 2,50€.



3- 'Azul de Agua (Water Blue)' Body Spray from Deliplus: Another Mercadona launch, that came teamed with a shower gel and a body cream in a tube, which we didn't get. We like these kind of products very much, especially after the shower. Price: 2.50 EUR.

Han traído estos nuevos esmaltes para el verano. Traen sólo 6ml -como los de la 'I love Jeans'- y cuestan 1,99€.

These LE summer nail polishes were just in. They only have 6ml -like those in the 'I love Jeans' - and cost 1.99 EUR.

Como veis, habían arrasado con las "Color Tattoo" de Maybelline. Sólo quedaba el tono morado, y todos los envases estaban abiertos y "chuacheados".
Después estuvimos probando los últimos jumbos y delineadores de Deliplús.

As you can see, the Maybelline 'Color Tattoo' display was raided. The only shade left was the purple one, but all the jars were opened and swatched.
Then we played around with the latest jumbos and liners from Deliplus.

4- Esmalte Astor Fashion Studio tono #179: Aunque esta marca española se venden en muchos sitios (Mercadona, Alcampo, y droguerías y perfumerías varias), fue un detallito de marox para Marian comprado en una perfumería local. Marian los había visto en Alcampo y le llamó la atención este tono. Era el más especial de los que había en el expositor, en buena medida por los brillitos tan bonitos que tiene. Recuerda mucho al 'Sew Psyched' de Essie.




4-Astor nail polish from the Fashion Studio line, shade #179: This Spanish brand is available from many different stores (Mercadona, Alcampo as well as many drugstores and perfumeries), it was a small gift marox made Marian, purchased at a local drugstore. Marian had seen these at Alcampo and this shade caught her eye. It was certainly the most special colour in the display, greatly due to the gorgeous shimmer it has. It's very similar to 'Sew Psyched' from Essie.

5- Esmaltes magnéticos de Yes Love (tiendas multiprecio): Nos costaron dos euros cada uno y justo los acababan de recibir. Había muchos colores y con distintos efectos al aplicar el imán, pero marox escogió estos dos por el colorido y el dibujo algo diferente que hacía el imán. Hemos hecho una pequeña prueba al rapidillo en las ruedas de muestra y funcionan estupendamente. Eso sí, huelen un poquillo. Traen 15 ml y el imán en la tapa -que sospecho, se puede quitar y dejar un segundo tapón interno para manejar el imán sin tener que andar abriendo y cerrando el bote. Son los tonos 6 y 7 (de la versión 2.0 de esmaltes magnéticos de Yes Love).




5- Magnetic lacquers from Yes Love (euro stores): These were 2 euros each -though price varies depending on the store- and they were just in. There were many different colours to choose from as well as several magnetic effects. We did a quick test and they work really well, though are perhaps a bit smelly. Each bottle contains 15ml and magnet is included on the cap -which I suspect can be removed to reveal a second inner cap, making application easier without having to open and close the bottle to use the magnet each time. These are shades 6 and 7 (of the 2.0 version of Yes Love magnetic polishes).

6- Esmaltes mini Bourjois (marian): Los tonos no tienen nombre, sino número. El tono 87 'Beetle Apparition', como podéis ver en las fotos, es una copia del famoso 'Péridot' de Chanel. Suponemos que estará bastante lograda, puesto que Bourjois es la segunda marca de Chanel. El tono 88 'Bleu Petrole' recuerda al "Underwater" de Essence *aquí*. En las perfumerías IF tenían una promoción de 2x5€, a la que hay que sumarle un 20% de descuento que estaban poniendo, así que salió cada esmalte por 2€. Son esmaltes muy pequeñitos -3ml/0.10 fl.oz-, así que mejor aprovechad a coger un tono un poco diferente.

Cuidado: La referencia del esmalte desaparece al retirar del todo el precinto.
Watch out: The lacquer's reference will disappear if you peel off the seal completely.

6- Mini Bourjois nail lacquers (marian): Shades don't have names but numbers. Shade 87 a.ka. 'Beetle Apparition' as seen in the pictures is a clear dupe of the famous 'Péridot' from Chanel. Our guess is this should be a fairly good dupe, given that Bourjois is Chanel's youngest sister brand. Shade 88 a.k.a. 'Bleu Petrole' is reminiscent of the Essence 'Underwater' *here*. IF Perfumeries were just having a 2x€5 promotion on this, as well as an additional 20% off, so we only paid 2 EUR for each. These are rather tiny, with only 3ml/0.10 fl.oz, so you'd better grab a unique shade.




7- Esmaltes NYC gama 'In a New York Minute' (marox): Comprados en la perfumería IF, que por cierto, justo estaba poniendo un 20% de descuento en todos los productos de uñas y un 10% en alta gama. No sé por cuánto tiempo. Son los tonos #264 Lincoln Square Lavender y #247 Prince Street, que recuerda un poco al 'Poison Me, Poison You' de Catrice. Con el descuento se quedaron en 1,59€ cada uno y traen 0.33 fl oz/9,7ml, así que yo creo que han sido una buena compra. Puesto que siempre nos quejamos de que aquí en España nunca hacen descuentos interesantes, creo que es de recibo felicitar a IF por tener un detalle así, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta que no hemos comprado productos caros de por sí.




7- 'In a New York Minute' NYC lacquers (marox): Purchased also at IF perfumeries, where all nail products were 20% off and high end stuff was 10% off. I don't know how long the promotion will be on for. The shades are #264 Lincoln Square Lavender and #247 Prince Street, which looks similar to 'Poison Me, Poison You' de Catrice. Thanks to the nice discount, these were just 1.59 EUR each and have 0.33 fl oz/9,7ml, so I think these were a great deal. Complaining as we often do about not having any interesting deals here in Spain I think it is only fair of us to point how cool this IF promotion is, considering we didn't buy any expensive stuff after all.

Hoy venimos con un recopilatorio de las últimas compras que hemos hecho, en Mercadona, etc.

Today we have another sundry haul feat. the latest beauty products we've got at Mercadona and others.

1- Aceite desmaquillante 'Gold Progress' con partículas de oro: En principio, está indicado para pieles secas. Se puede utilizar en todo el rostro, incluídos los párpados. Retira muy bien el maquillaje y aunque es aceite, no deja sensación aceitosa. Seguro que lo habréis visto ya en un montón de blogs, pero animadas por las buenas críticas y una pequeña prueba que hicimos en Mercadona, nos decidimos a probarlo. Está testado clínica, dermatológica y oftalmológicamente. No testado en animales. Precio: 5,10€.

1- Makeup Remover Oil from the 'Gold Progress' Deliplus (Mercadona) line, containing gold: In theory, it is recommended for dry skin. It can be used all over the face, including the eyelids. It removes makeup flawlessly and despite the obvious oil texture, the skin doesn't feel oily at all. If you follow any Spanish blogs you may have seen these quite a few times already. Prompted by the good reviews it had and after a small trial test at the supermarket, we gave it a try. Tested both clinically, dermathologically and ophthalmologically. Not animal tested. Price: 5.10 EUR.

2- Crema corporal Fruit Fusion Cítricos e Higo y Fresía: Ante la duda de si serán permanentes o se trata de otra edición limitada, decidimos probarlas. Puesto que ya teníamos la de frutos rojos del pack que sacaron por el día de la madre, ya tenemos la colección completa. Como véis en la foto, hay probador, así que al menos podéis haceros una idea de si os gustan o no antes de comprarlas. Sospechamos que serán fijas, puesto que aparte de en el expositor que véis en la foto de abajo, estaban también en las estanterías. Precio: 1,85€ c/u.

2- Citrus and Fig & Freesia scented body butters: As we had no idea if this were going to be part of the permanent range or not, we decided to get them. We already had the red berries one that came with the Mother's Day set, so we now had them all. As you can see in the picture, there are testers available, so at least you can get an idea and see whether you like them before buying. We have a feeling these have come to stay, as beside the display pictured below, they were also in the shelves. Price: 1.85 EUR each.

3- Esponja Konjac: o como la llaman en Mercadona, esponja natural limpiadora facial. Viene en dos packaging diferentes, pero la esponja es la misma. Todavía no la he probado, así que cuando lo haga, ya os contaré. No sé si marox tendrá intención de comprarse otra (va a ser verdad que se está reservando para las nuevas brochas, que por cierto, todavía no llegan). Precio: 3,95€.

3- Konjac sponge: or as Mercadona calls it, natural facial cleanser sponge. They come with two different kinds of packaging, but the sponge is the same. I haven't tried it yet, so I'll tell you more when I do it. I don't know whether marox is buying another one for her or not (maybe she's truly waiting for their new improved brushes, which are taking their time to come, btw). Price: 3.95 EUR.

Aquí tenéis un par de fotos de las últimas novedades que tenían en Mercadona, un pack corporal con oro, las nuevas cremas corporales, los esmaltes craquelados y de la colección 'I ♥ Jeans' y la esponja Konjac. Los esmaltes "vaqueros" son del mismo tamaño que los magnéticos, con sólo 6ml y costaban 1,99€. Los 'mini' del verano pasado, salían mucho más rentables en comparación.
Desde nuestra visita, han traído varias sombras de la gama 'Color Tattoo' de Maybelline, a un precio de 6.95€. Arroin80 nos las enseña en detalle *aquí*.

Here are a couple of pics for you to see the latest releases they had, namely a body care kit with gold, the new fruit-scented body butters, the crackle polishes, the ' I ♥ Jeans' LE polishes and the Konjac sponges. The 'denim' polishes are the same size as the magnetic ones, with only 6ml and were 1.99€. The minis they released last summer were better value for money in comparison. Since we were there last, they've brought some of the Maybelline 'Color Tattoo' cream eyeshadows, with a price of 6.95 EUR/each. The Spanish guru Arroin80 featured them *here*


4-Sombra de ojos "Copper Island" de Essence: Como veis, compramos una para cada una. Es de color cobrizo y tiene acabado shimmer. Todavía no nos hemos hecho ningún look con ella, pero me da a mí que la vamos a usar mucho este verano.

4- 'Copper Island' mono eyeshadow from Essence: As you can see, we bought one for each. It's in a copper shade and has a shimmer finish. We haven't made any eye look with it yet, but I think we'll use it a lot this summer.

5- Pinzas de depilar de Essence: Marian ha decidido jubilar sus viejas pinzas de depilar en favor de éstas. Ya las ha probado, pero todavía tiene que hacerse a usarlas.


5- Tweezers from Essence: Marian has decided to retire her old tweezers and replace them with these. She has already tried them, but she still has to get used to them.
