Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.


1- Spray corporal "Sheer Love" de Victoria's Secret (Marian).
Ya sabéis que me encantan este tipo de productos. Este me ha gustado mucho porque su olor perdura en la piel. Ahora mismo estoy usando uno de The Body Shop, pero seguramente repetiré con la marca, porque me encantan.



2- Exfoliante corporal de Giovanni (Marox). Podéis encontrar esta marca tanto en iHerb como en Vitacost.
Reconozco que me gustan más los exfoliantes en formato tarro, puesto que se aprovechan mucho más. Éste exfoliante está compuesto de azúcar, así que realiza una exfoliación más suave que los que contienen sal. Contiene ceniza volcánica y bayas de açai, con propiedades antioxidantes.
Es más barato que otros exfoliantes de la marca, aunque el de chocolate tiene bien merecida su fama.

3- Gel de calcio Basic (Marian).
Ha sido un producto habitual en mis manicuras, pero ya resulta difícil de aplicar y extender, así que aunque todavía quedaba producto, llegó el momento de jubilarlo.
Ahora estoy usando una base que tenía por ahí olvidada.



4- Serum antimanchas Sephora (Marian).
Con este producto mis manchas se han atenuado, pero tampoco esperéis milagros.
Como no fue muy caro, repetí con él.

5- Cabezal Dual-Clean Oral B (Marian).
Yo creo que ya hemos probado, si no todas, casi todas las variedades de cabezales Oral B compatibles con nuestros cepillos eléctricos (no todos los cabezales, aun siendo originales, valen para todos los modelos de Oral B).
Este, al tener dos partes, puede resultar un poco difícil de manejar, pero no descarto repetir con él.

Here we are again to show you the stuff we've used up recently.

1- 'Sheer Love' Body spray from Victoria's Secret (Marian).
You already know that I love this kind of products. I like this one very much because its scent really lasts on the skin. I'm currently using one from The Body Shop, but I'll surely go back to VS body mists in the future, because I love them.

2- Body scrub from Giovanni (Marox). This brand is available from both iHerb and Vitacost. 
I prefer scrubs that come in a tub, as you can use the entire thing up. This body polish is sugar-based, thus providing a less harsh scrub effect than salt-based products. It contains volcanic ash and açai berry, famous for its antioxidant properties.
It's cheaper than other Giovanni scrubs, but doesn't beat their highly acclaimed chocolate one.



3- Calcium gel from Basic (Marian).
It's been a staple item in my manis, but now it's become really difficult to apply, so it was time to say goodbye to this. I'm now using a base coat that I'd forgotten about.

4- Anti dark-spot serum from Sephora (Marian).
Since I began using this product, my dark spots are less noticeable, but don't expect a miracle. As it wasn't that expensive, I got another one.



5- Dual-clean brush head from Oral B (Marian).
I think we've already tried all the Oral B brush heads suitable for our electric toothbrushes (not all the original brush heads fit Oral B brushes).
This one, consisting of two parts, can be a bit difficult to handle, but I'll probably repurchase it.

Productos terminados #42 - 'Finito' products #42.

Aquí estamos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente, y un producto tecnológico que a Marox le da mucha pena tener que incluir en esta sección.

1- Muestra gel de baño Ziaja (Marox).
Nos dieron esta muestra en una visita a Beauty Gloss, la tienda local que vendía Catrice y que por desgracia cerró. La utilicé en un viaje reciente. Me gustó, aunque con tan poca cantidad lo poco que recuerdo es que me dio la sensación de que no hacía demasiada espuma.



2- Body spray "Love Spell" de Victoria's Secret (Marian).
Lo he estado usando después de la ducha, y tiene un olor que me encanta. Ya sabéis que me encantan este tipo de productos, así que siempre procuro tener alguno de repuesto.
Ahora mismo estoy usando el "Sheer Love", también de Victoria's Secret, y la verdad es que no sabría deciros cuál de los dos me gusta más.

3- Aceite desmaquillante "Gold Progress" de Deliplus.
Es un aceite un poco denso que desmaquilla muy bien, aunque no finalizamos con este tipo de productos nuestra rutina de limpieza. Siempre usamos después un jabón facial para eliminar posibles restos, y sobre todo, para no dejar sensación grasa en el rostro.



4- Champú "Smooth as Silk" de Giovanni (Marox). Lo compré hace bastante tiempo en iHerb -también lo tenéis en Vitacost, así que tantead precios- y lo cierto es que va muy, muy bien. Hace espumita, huele muy bien y hace olvidar el hecho de que no es un champú al uso (por lo de estar llenito de químicos). Merece la pena probarlo y no me importaría repetir. Marian también lo ha usado alguna vez.

5- Desmaquillante de ojos casero (Marox).
Ante todo, que no os despiste el envase de Yves Rocher. Fue de otro desmaquillante que tuve de esa marca, y decidí aprovechar el envase, lavándolo muy bien, obviamente.
Todavía quedaba un poco de producto, como veis, pero tenía un aspecto extraño, y después de tanto tiempo sin utilizar..., hemos decidido tirarlo.
Preferimos el agua micelar para retirar el maquillaje de ojos.



6- Cámara Olympus SP500UZ (Marox). Quise utilizar esta cámara, que tenía en casa muerta de risa desde que probé las compactas, para sacar fotos del concierto de Roxette de este verano... con tan mala suerte que le había dejado unas pilas dentro y se sulfataron. Intentamos Marian y yo limpiar el compartimento de las pilas con distintos métodos, sin éxito. Ya está en el punto limpio, descansando en paz.

Here we are again with a new review of the stuff we've used up recently, and a technology product that Marox sadly has to include in this section.

1- Shower gel sample from Ziaja (Marox).
We got this as a freebie with some purchases at the local Catrice retailer, that unfortunately closed down a while ago. I used this on a recent trip and I liked it. With such a small amount, my only memory is that it was nice though didn't seem particularly lathering.

2- 'Love spell' body spray from Victoria's Secret (Marian).
I've been using it after showering and I love its scent. You know how I love this kind of products, so I always try to have another one for backup.
I'm using 'Sheer Love', also from Victoria's Secret these days and I couldn't really tell you which one I like the most.



3- 'Gold progress' make-up remover oil from Deliplus.
It's a quite thick oil-based remover and it does the job well, though these are never the last step in our cleansing routine.
We always use a facial soap to get rid of any remaining makeup, as at the same time soap does leave a greasy feeling on the face.

4- 'Smooth as Silk' shampoo from Giovanni (Marox). I bought this a while ago off iHerb -though it's also available from Vitacost, so make sure you compare prices- and the truth is it's a really, really nice product. It lathers great, smells nice and makes you forget the fact you're not using a regular shampoo (in the sense that is not chemical-laden). It's worth trying and I wouldn't mind buying this again. Marian tested it as well a few times.



5- Homemade eye make-up remover (Marox). First things first, don't be fooled by the Yves Rocher bottle. I reused it, sanitized it and put our homemade makeup remover in said bottle. There was still some product left, but as you can tell from the picture, it looked kinda gross after being unused for a while and that was my cue to throw it away.
We've now turned to micellar cleansing water instead to remove our eye makeup.

6- Olympus SP500UZ digital camera (Marox). I meant to use this camera, that was gathering dust at home after getting my hands on point-and-shoot ones, to snap my pics with at the Roxette concert this summer... but it turns out I had left a set of batteries inside and they eventually leaked. Marian and I both did several attempts at cleaning the battery compartment without success. It's already at the local household waste recycling centre. RIP.



These have been our 'empties' so far.

Productos terminados #40 - 'Finito' products #40.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para hablaros de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Exfoliante corporal de chocolate de Giovanni (Marian). Fue un regalo de Marox, que compró en iHerb, aunque también lo podéis encontrar en Vitacost.
Me ha gustado mucho. Exfolia muy bien y huele aún mejor, así que no me importaría repetir con este producto.



2- Manteca corporal de arándano escarchado de The Body Shop (Marian). 
Se aplica muy bien y deja la piel hidratada.
Me encanta su olor afrutado.
Es muy posible que repita con ella, aunque sabéis que me gusta probar varias.

3- Desodorante de Nature's Gate (Marox). Comprado en iHerb, pero también disponible en Vitacost. La verdad es que me ha gustado bastante. Casi os diría que de los desodorantes naturales que he probado hasta el momento es de mis favoritos. Marian tiene uno para ella también, que aún no ha estrenado.
No obstante, como todos, durante ciertos días al mes, se me queda un pelín corto.



4- Cuarteto de correctores de Sephora (Marian).
Como veis no se ha terminado, pero hace muchísimo tiempo que lo tengo y ya huele a rancio, así que lo doy por terminado.
Llegó el momento de tirarlo.
De todos modos, prefiero los correctores fluidos.

5- Desodorante en stick Dermo, de Dia (Marian).
He estado usándolo mucho en verano, y en el resto del año durante ciertos días del mes, en que el desodorante de alumbre se me queda corto.
Me encanta el formato en stick.
No he vuelto a ver este desodorante, así que será difícil repetir con él.
De todos modos, Marox ya se ha encargado de llenarme la "despensa potinguil" con desodorantes de este formato.



6- Corrector líquido de Catrice en el tono "Ivory" (Marian).
Lo compré en Beauty Gloss, aconsejada por su dependienta, que es un encanto de persona.
Lástima que la tienda ya cerró, así que ahora no me quedará más remedio que comprar lo de Catrice por Internet.
De todas formas, ahora que sé el tono que mejor me va, siempre podría comprarlo online.
Ahora estoy usando uno de otra marca que ya os enseñaré.

Pues bien, estos han sido nuestros productos terminados hasta ahora.

Here we are with a quick review of the stuff we've used up lately.

1 -  Giovanni Hot chocolate Body Scrub (Marian). It was a gift from Marox that she ordered off iHerb, though you can also find it on Vitacost.
I like it very much. It provides a great exfoliation and smells even better, so I wouldn't mind repurchasing this product.

2 - Frosted Cranberry Body Butter, The Body Shop (Marian):
It's very easy to apply and it leaves the skin moisturized. I love its fruity scent.
I will very likely buy it again (or ask Marox to do it for me), although you know that I like trying different ones too.



3 - Nature's Gate Deodorant (Marox): Bought off iHerb, this is also available from Vitacost. The truth is I really liked this, to the point that I'd say it's my favourite natural deodorant so far. I bought Marian one too, but she hasn't got round to using hers yet.
Nevertheless, for a couple of days a month, it does fall a bit short as any other does.

4 -Concealer Quad by Sephora (Marian).
As you can see, it's not finished yet, but I've had it for a long, long time, and it has a musty smell, so I consider it as finished.
It's time to throw it away.
Anyway, I prefer liquid concealers for now.



5- Dermo stick deodorant, from Dia supermarkets (Marian).
I've been using it a lot in summer, and some days of the month during the rest of the year, when the alum deodorant falls a bit short.
I love the stick format.
I haven't seen this kind of deodorant anymore, so it'll be hard to get it again.
Anyway, Marox has filled my vanity 'pantry' with more deodorants in stick.

6- Liquid concealer from Catrice in the shade 'Ivory' (Marian).
I bought this at Beauty Gloss, following the assistant's advice, who is a very nice person. It's a pity that the store had to close down, as I'll have to get Catrice stuff online from now on.
Anyway, now that I know which shade matches me best, I could order online.
At the moment I'm using another one from a different brand that I'll be showing you soon.

Primer pedido a Vitacost / First order at Vitacost

Hi girls,

Como prometí en el *post de mi cumpleaños*, hoy os enseño un poco más en detalle los productos que pedí a *Vitacost* por mi cumpleaños. 

1  - Champú Desert Essence de coco: A pesar de mi profunda animadversión por todo producto con sabor u olor a coco, sucumbí a la tentación de probar este famoso champú. Todo el mundo dice que va muy bien para cabello rizado, así que para que tanto Marian como yo lo pudiéramos comprobar, metí dos para la cesta. La variedad de coco estaba mucho más barata que otras de la marca, que aún así estaban más baratas que en iHerb.
Estaba a 3,97 dólares, así que había que aprovechar. *iHerb* lo tiene ahora mismo a 6,05 dólares.
Cuando lo probemos, ya os contaremos qué nos parece. Lo único que os puedo decir hasta el momento es que el tamaño es más grande de lo que pensaba.
Cruzo los dedos para que no huela mucho a coco. Sino, siempre me puedo poner una pinza en la nariz, jeje.

2 - Acondicionador Desert Essence de coco: El compañero del anterior, también muy rebajado. Rara vez uso acondicionador y por alguna razón compro siempre mascarilla.
Poco puedo decir de momento, puesto que aún no lo he probado. Costó lo mismo que el anterior, 3,97 dólares, mientras que en Iherb lo tenéis por 6,05.

3 - Mascarilla facial purificante de *Giovanni*: Recientemente acabé la mascarilla que tenía en uso y tras mucho mirar, me decidí por ésta que estaba bien de precio. Es el único producto que he estrenado del pedido. Es de un color gris claro, bastante curioso. Aplico una capa fina de producto una ó dos veces por semana. Deja la piel suave, sin tiranteces aunque hecho de menos que fuera también exfoliante para así matar dos pájaros de un tiro. Me costó 6,99 dólares en Vitacost y cuesta 6,97 en *iHerb*.



4 - Desodorante *Queen Helene* de té verde: Como aquí en España no suele haber muchos desodorantes naturales donde elegir, aprovecho estos pedidos para comprar alguno. Eso sí, ahora mismo tengo como tres pendientes de usar, así que no necesitaré comprar ninguno en una buena temporada.
Estuve ojeando la composición de varios desodorantes, evitando aquellos que tuvieran ingredientes nocivos. Confío en que protejan lo suficiente, aunque no lleguen a proteger tanto como los antitranspirantes.
Será lo primero que pruebe de esta marca. Me costó 3,69 dólares y lo tenéis a 4,23 en iHerb.

5 - Desodorante *Desert Essence*: Otro más para la colección, a ver qué tal va. El precio de éste fue de 3,29 dólares, mientras que iHerb cuesta 4,03 dólares.

6 - Desodorante de manzanilla y hierba luisa de *Nature's Gate*: Se lo he regalado a Marian para que ella también lo pruebe. Yo lo estoy usando ahora mismo entre semana y va bastante bien, aunque unos cuantos días al mes se me queda un poco corto. No he notado que manche la ropa, algo a su favor.
El mío lo compré a iHerb, pero en Vitacost cuesta 4,59 dólares. iHerb lo tiene ahora mismo por 4,42 dólares.

As I promised on my *Birthday Haul post*, here's another look at the products I ordered from *Vitacost* as a happy-birthday-to-me present.

1 -  Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo: Despite my deeprooted dislike of anything that is coconut flavoured or scented, I gave in and ordered this much praised shampoo. People agree this is a great shampoo for curly haired ladies, so I bought two of this and thus give Marian the chance to try it too.
The coconut variety was much more discounted than any other and even those came cheaper than if purchased off iHerb.
This was only US $ 3.97, so I just *had to* buy it. *iHerb* sells it now for $6.05.
We'll let you know what we think of this once we've tried it. The only thing I can comment on so far is that the tube is bigger than I thought.
I'll keep my fingers crossed in the hope that the coconut scent is not too cloying. Otherwise, I guess I'll have to cover my nostrils with a clothes peg or something, lol.

2 - Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner: The shampoo's companion, also greatly discounted. I seldom use conditioner and tend to buy hair marks instead for some reason.
Nothing else to add, as I haven't tested it yet. I paid the same for this, $3.97, whereas Iherb sells it for $6.05.



3 - *Giovanni* Purifying Facial Mask: I recently used up one of my face masks and after much browsing, I settled for this as it was quite reasonably priced. It's the only product I've tried from the order. It's a soft grey, very striking and I' using it by applying a thin layer to my face once or twice a week. My skin feels soft but not stripped, though I kind of wish this provided some exfoliation at the same time so I could kill two birds in one stone, so to speak. This was $6.99 at Vitacost and is $6.97 at *iHerb*.

4- *Queen Helene* Tea Tree Deodorant: There's not much variety here in Spain when it comes to natural deodorants, so I always include some in my orders. Problem is I now have about three awaiting its turn in my bathroom cabinets. so it will be a while until I try others.
I spent some time browsing the ingredient list of the store's deodorants trying to avoid harmful ingredients. I'm hoping they'll keep me odour-free long enough, even if they'll never do the job as well as antiperspirants do.
This will be my first experience with the brand. This costs 3.69 USD at Vitacost and $4.23 at iHerb.

5 - *Desert Essence* Deodorant: Another addition to my increasing collection. The price of this was $3.29, whereas iHerb's price is $4.03.

6 - *Nature's Gate* Chamomile and Lemon Verbena Deodorant: I gave this to Marian so she can try it too. I'm using it at the moment on weekdays it works nicely, though I've noticed it falls short a few days a month. I haven't noticed any staining in my clothes, which is good. I bought mine at iHerb, but Vitacost has it at 4.59 USD. iHerb's price for this at the moment is $4.42

Mis regalos de cumpleaños / My birthday presents

¡Hay que ver cómo pasa el tiempo!
Hace poco he cumplido un año más, así que aprovecho para enseñaros mis regalos.

En primer lugar, Marian me sorprendió con los dos regalos que véis a continuación.

1 - Conjunto de pendientes y colgante esmaltados, de estilo Frey Wille. Marian los compró en Aliexpress, web a la que es mejor no pedir cosas de mucho valor o que os corran prisa, porque los pedidos tardan mucho en llegar.
Si recordáis, ya me había *regalado* una pulsera similar en las anteriores navidades.  Venían sin más en un cartoncito dentro de una bolsita de plástico. La cadena ha empezado a ponerse oscura -y eso que he tenido cuidado de no perfumarme con ella puesta-, pero los pendientes y el colgante siguen como el primer día.

2 - Colonia CK One, de Calvin Klein: Lo compró en Fapex, tienda muy recomendable, ya que tiene una amplia selección de perfumes, productos para el cabello, maquillaje a muy buenos precios. Los gastos de envío son muy razonables teniendo en cuenta que los pedidos vienen de la República Checa.

Aprovecho para mostraros un adelanto de mis autorregalos, aunque tengo pendiente de recibir una cosita para el iPad Mini.

3 - En Amazon España compré la pulsera de actividad de Xiaomi, también conocida como Xiaomi MiBand. Me costó 18,95€, con envío gratis y se la compré al vendedor LeStar. Hice el pedido el 25 de abril y me llegó por correo certificado el 8 de mayo.
Llevo usándola un par de semanas. La he sincronizado con el iPad, puesto que aparentemente la aplicación no era compatible con la versión de Android de mi teléfono (4.2).
Como pega, la aplicación oficial sólo está disponible en español, aunque en Internet encontraréis información sobre el funcionamiento de esta pulsera en distintos foros, Youtube, etc.
Si os interesa, cuando la haya probado un poco más, puedo hablaros de ella en un post específico.
En principio, me llamaban más las que traen display (con reloj, etc), pero las buenas costaban más de lo que estaba dispuesta a gastarme y todas las opiniones decían que ésta era una buena opción de entrada. Además, así es más discreta. ¿Lo véis? El que no se consuela es porque no quiere.
En casa ha llamado mucho la atención. Ya he modificado varias veces el objetivo, puesto que lo alcanzaba en seguida.
Por cierto, que una de mis alumnas la tiene también y ella la tiene sincronizada con su smartphone, para que le alerte de los mensajes de whatsapp y esas cosas.

4- Mi primer pedido a Vitacost... Tendréis que esperar a verlo en condiciones, puesto que el paquete llegó cuando no estábamos en casa y le dejé la autorización a mi padre. Así que si yo no he tenido ocasión de chafardearlo en condiciones, vosotras tampoco. He dicho.
Le he dado un par de cosas a Marian para que ella también pueda probarlas.

Perdón por no actualizar más a menudo, pero por temas de trabajo -retrasos porque otra persona no hizo su trabajo a tiempo- me ha resultado imposible.

It's mindblowing how time flies, isn't it?
It was my birthday recently, so I decided to share with you the presents I got on that date.

In the first place, Marian gave me the two presents below.

1 - Enamel earrings and pendant set, Frey Wille-style: Marian ordered these from Aliexpress, a site we'd now only buy stuff of little value and that you don't need to have by a certain date, as it will be long before you get it.
If you remember, I *got* a bracelet in the same style on a recent Christmas. 
They were sent in a simple piece of cardboard, protected with a plastic bag. The chain has started to darken, despite the fact that I've been careful not to spritz perfume while wearing it. Thankfully the earrings and pendant are still looking as good as new.

2 - Calvin Klein CK One: She bought this at Fapex, a great store with a wide range of perfumes, hair care and skin care products, makeup at really competitive prices. Shipping costs are very reasonable, considering orders come all the way from the Czech Republic.

I have yet to receive some stuff I treated myself to, like a little something for my Ipad Mini. As an appetizer, let me show you what has already arrived.

3 - I placed an Amazon (Spain) order for the Xiaomi smartband, aka Xiaomi MiBand. Seller's name was LeStar and I paid 18,95 EUR with free shipping. I ordered it on April 25th and it arrived by registered mail on May 8th.
I've only been using it for a couple of weeks and so far, so good. I paired it with my iPad Mini, as the app was apparently not compatible with the Android version of my smartphone (4.2). 
A potential downside would be the fact that the official app is only available in English. You'll find lots of information online about this smartband in different languages in online forums, Youtube, etc, though.
If you're interested, I can write a more detailed post about it once I've had the chance to test it more thoroughly.
At first I was more drawn to smartbands that had a display (clock function and so on), but the good ones cost more than I was ready to pay and all reviews said this was a great start to the wearables bandwagon.
Besides, it's really nondescript. See? Talk about every cloud having a silver lining!
It certainly drew attention at home. I've had to change my initial goal as it was too low and I reached it in no time.
By the way, one of my students has it too, though she paired it with her smartphone so she can get an alert every time she gets a whatsapp message and so on.

4- Here's a sneak peek at my first Vitacost order... You'll have to wait a bit to see it properly. The package arrived when we were out, so I asked my dad to collect it from the post office for me. If I didn't get to play with it myself, you don't stand a chance either. I have spoken! I gave a few things to Marian so she can test them too.

On a side note I'd like to apologize for not being able to update the blog more often. Unfortunately, one of my colleagues at work is a total pita and did not meet the agreed-on deadlines, as usual. Work has to come first in my priorities, you know.

Compras en Iherb / Iherb Haul

¡Hola chicas!

Seguro que en estos días habéis visto a más blogueras publicar posts similares. Me temo que yo también cedí a la tentación de los gastos de envío gratis y pedí unas cositas a las que les tenía echado el ojillo.
Hice el pedido el día 23 de junio, lo enviaron el 25 y yo lo recibí el día 3 de julio. No está mal, ¿verdad?
Si queréis ver qué eché a la cesta, seguid leyendo.

En primer lugar, debo decir que sólo os puedo enseñar 4 de los 6 artículos que compré, puesto que los dos restantes serán un detalle para Marian por su cumpleaños, así que tendréis que esperar aún un par de meses para ver lo que le cogí.

1 - Champú hidratante de Giovanni 'Smooth as Silk': Si tenéis el pelo rizado o teñido sabréis lo dificil que es conseguir que el pelo no se vea estropajoso. Este champú es uno de los productos más vendidos de la marca. Presume de dejar el pelo "suave como la seda" gracias a su suave formulación, repleta de extractos naturales de aloe vera, manzana, manzanilla, naranja, gingko biloba, etc.
No contiene parabenos ni sulfatos. Aunque no llevo mucho utilizándolo, os puedo decir que hace bastante espuma para no tener sulfatos, tiene un olor cítrico agradable y no deja el pelo especialmente enredado ni con sensación de tirantez. De momento, estoy contenta con él.
Lo alternaré con los champús de Bubbly.

 2 - Champú para cuero cabelludo problemático 'Everclean' de Home Health: El producto está indicado tanto como para tratar la caspa como para la psoriasis y dermatitis. Contiene ácido salicílico y extractos naturales de aloe vera, alquitrán natural (de pino), miel, cola de caballo, ortiga, etc.
No contiene parabenos, aceites minerales, derivados del petróleo ni ftalatos. Tampoco está testado en animales. Aún no lo he usado, pero imagino que sea tan suave como el otro que tengo de esta marca.

3 - Exfoliante para pies "bastón de caramelo" de Deep Steep: (marox) Andaba buscando un exfoliante para pies grandecito para tener en mi otra casa y me llamó la atención *éste*. Tiene un precio de  9,95 dólares y trae 256ml.
La acción exfoliante la realiza el azúcar que contiene. En su composición encontramos menta, vainilla, manteca de karité, aceite de coco y de girasol, entre otros.
Con la piel mojada, la acción exfoliante no se nota apenas (parece que el azúcar se derritiera o integrara con los demás ingredientes) pero con la piel seca sí que se nota, así que tenedlo en cuenta si os decidís a probarlo. Al aclarar la piel se nota que está muy hidratada, pero sin resultar excesivo. El olorcito es sobre todo mentolado, pero muy dulce.

4 - Desodorante en stick sin aluminio con lavanda y aloe de Nature's Gate: (marox) Durante los días de calor o en ciertos días del mes he notado que el clásico desodorante de piedra de alumbre "me abandona" así que he pedido éste a ver qué tal. Siento si no os resulta muy interesante incluir este tipo de productos en estos posts, pero a nadie le gusta comprar un producto que no funciona muy allá. 
Lo tengo pendiente de estrenar, pero prometo contaros qué tal va en cuanto lo pruebe lo suficiente.

You've probably read similar posts from other bloggers out there these days. I'm afraid I wasn't able to resist the free shipping offer Iherb announced and ordered a few things I'd had my eye on for a while.
I placed my order on June 23rd, it was shipped on the 25th and I eventually received it on July 3rd. Not bad, right?

First of all, I should say I can only show you 4 out of the 6 items I ordered, as the remaining 2 will be a gift for Marian's upcoming birthday. You'll have to wait a couple of months then to see what she got from me.

1 - Deep moisture 'Smooth as Silk' shampoo, from the brand Giovanni: If you have curly or processed hair, you'll know how hard it is to have hair that does not resemble straw. This shampoo is one of the brand's best sellers.  It claims to moisturise your hair with its gentle formula, full of natural extracts such as aloe vera, apple, chamomile, orange, gingko biloba and others.
It does not contain parabenes and is sulfate-free too. Though I have not been using this long, I can tell it lathers well for a sulfate-free shampoo, has a pleasant citrusy scent and does not leave hair tangled or too squeaky clean. So far, I'm happy with it.
I'll use it when I'm not using the Bubbly/Bodyline ones.

2 - 'Everclean' Shampoo for itchy scalp from Home Health: Suitable for treating problematic scalp associated with dandruff, psoriasis and dermatitis. It contains salicidic acid and natural extracts from aloe vera, pine tar, honey, horsetail, nettle, etc.
It is paraben, mineral oil, petroleum and phtalates free and has not been tested on animals.

3 - Deep Steep Sugar Cane Foot Scrub: (marox) I was looking for a decent-sized foot scrub to keep at my other home and I was drawn to *this*. Price is 9.95 USD and it contains 9 oz / 256ml.
The exfoliation is sugar-based and the ingredients include mint, vanilla, shea butter, coconut and sunflower seed oils, among others.
On damp skin the exfoliation is barely noticeable -it seems the sugar melts and blends into the other ingredients-, but on dry skin it is much more evident and efficient. Bear this in mind if you add it to your shopping cart. After washing off, the skin is moisturised and soft, without leaving a sticky or greasy film. The scent is very minty yet sweet.

4 - Aluminium-free Lavender & Aloe Deodorant Stick from Nature's Gate: (marox) I've noticed that my crystal deodorant is not my best ally during the hottest summer days or in certain days of the month, so I went and ordered this for a change. You may think my including this item in a Haul & Review post is not very interesting, but noone likes buying something that doesn't do much, right?
I haven't tried this yet but promise to give you my thoughts on this as soon as I'd had the chance to test it properly.
