Mis regalos de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts.

Hola, chicas: Hace más de un mes que fue mi cumpleaños, así que me gustaría enseñaros los regalos que recibí.   Primero empezaré con los regalos de Marox.   1- CD "The Fool & The Scorpion" de Sharon Corr.  Es su tercer álbum en solitario. Contiene 10 temas (qué poquitos). Un álbum breve, pero intenso, sobre todo la canción que da título al disco. Viene en formato digipack, que no me gusta mucho, porque volver a meter el CD en su sitio es una labor harto difícil. Como yo suelo decir, entra con calzador. Trae una pequeña postal firmada. Lo compró en Amazon.Uk, aunque después vio que también lo tenían en la tienda española. 2- Fuente para gatos. Este es un regalo para Molly, obviamente. Lo estrené cuando tuve a los dos gatos (Pol y Molly) en casa. Pol no dudó en probarlo. Molly sólo lo miraba con mucha atención. Esperemos que se anime a usarlo. No hace nada de ruido. Escuchar el sonido del agua es muy relajante. Tiene un sensor de presencia, de forma que cuando el gato se acerca, empieza a funcionar la fuente. Aunque los venden en Amazon, lo compró en Aliexpress.  3- Batería externa. De un color rosita monísimo. Marox me la regaló con idea de conectarla a la fuente para gatos, sobre todo cuando la ponga a funcionar donde no tenga un enchufe cerca. La compró en *Dealz*, tienda de la familia Poundland que abrieron hace unos meses en nuestra ciudad.  Y ahora os enseño lo que me han regalado mis padres. 4- Sandalias de "El Naturalista". Compradas en una zapatería de Zamora.  Son las segundas que tengo de la marca. Las primeras tienen cerca de 10 años y ahí siguen. Son lo más cómodo que os podáis imaginar. Éstas no las he estrenado todavía, porque ya hacía un poco de frío, así que las guardaré para el próximo verano. 5- Bufanda. En tonos rosa fucsia y morado, haciendo degradado. Es súper suave. Creo que la usaré mucho este invierno.     Ahora que pienso, creo que no me he autorregalado nada, así que esto es todo. Nos vemos pronto.

Hi girls, It's been more than a month since my birthday, so I would like to show you the gifts I got. I'll start with what I got from marox. 1- "The Fool & The Scorpion" CD from  Sharon Corr.  It's her third solo album. It contains 10 songs (so few!). It's a short, but intense record, especially the title song. It comes in a digipack sleeve, which I'm not a big fan of, because getting the disc back in place is no easy feat. Like I usually say, you have to shoehorn it into the sleeve. It does come with a signed postcard. She ordered this from Amazon.Uk and then realized the Spanish store sold this edition too.      2- Water Fountain for cats. It goes without saying this present is for my cat, Molly. I used it first when I had both cats -Molly and Pol staying with me. Pol didn't hesitate to try it out. Molly merely kept an eye on it. Hopefully she'll feel intrigued enough to use it. It is extremely quiet. Listening to the sound of water running is incredibly soothing. It has a motion sensor, so it starts working as soon as you cat approaches it.  Amazon sells them, but she ordered this off Aliexpress.    3- Power Bank. In a bright neon pink, marox got this so I could power the water fountain away from an outlet.  She bought this at *Dealz*, a Poundland store that opened back home a few months ago.  And now, onto the presents I got from my parents. 4- "El Naturalista" sandals. We bought this from a local shoe shop in our hometown, Zamora. These are the second pair I've had from the brand. I still have the other one, which I got about 10 years ago. They're the most comfy sandals you can imagine. I haven't used them yet, because it was a bit cold already when I got them, so I'll save them for next summer.        5- Scarf. In gradient bright pink and purple shades. It's incredibly soft and it will probably get lots of use this winter. Now that I think of it, I don't think I treated myself to anything, so that's all. Compras Rebajas 2019 / Sales Haul 2019 (I)

Hola, chicas:

¿Pensábais que no íbamos a picar con las rebajas? Pues sí. Esto es lo que compramos.

Os enseñamos primero las compras de ropa en rebajas.
En primer lugar, unas compras en Koroshi, tienda con una estética similar a Desigual, pero con precios mucho más normales y buenas promociones.

1 - Pantalón vaquero gris (marox): El precio original era de 39,99€ y estaba rebajado a 19,99€. Es la talla 40 (tienen desde la talla 34 a la 44). Me gusta que el tejido es algo elástico, que siempre se ajusta mejor al cuerpo.

2 - Pantalón vaquero azul oscuro (marox): Al igual que el anterior, marcaba 39,99€ y se quedó en 19,99€. Tiene la pata algo más ancha que el gris. La tela es también un poco elástica.

3- Pantalón vaquero azul claro (Marian).
Es la talla 40. Marcaba 39,99€ y se quedó en 17,99€. Al igual que los anteriores, el tejido es elástico.

4- Pantalón vaquero azul oscuro (Marian).
También en la talla 40. Marcaba 42,99€ y se quedó en 19,99€. El tejido también es elástico.

Me encantan los detalles que ambos tienen en la cinturilla y los bolsillos traseros.

5- Pijama "In Extenso" (Marian).
Había desechado uno que se me había deteriorado mucho, y lo he sustituido por éste.
Marcaba 14,99€ y se ha quedado en 8,99€.
Lo compré en Alcampo.
Es muy cómodo y calentito.

6- Botines Pitillos (Marian).
En una reciente visita a Zamora, compré estos botines. Los últimos que compré estaban los pobres hechos polvo, porque les he dado mucha caña.
Ya los he estrenado, y puedo deciros que son comodísimos.
Me costaron 59€.

Y ahora os enseñamos lo que compramos en Gangamanía, una feria de stock en Burgos.

7- Botines Xti (Marian).

Me gustaron mucho tanto el color como el diseño, y el detalle que tiene atrás.
Aunque tiene el tacón más alto de lo que yo suelo llevar, me pareció bastante cómodo.
También es cierto que me las probé unos minutos. Espero que sigan siendo cómodos cuando les dé tralla.



8- Jersey azul con detalles plateados (Marian).
Me gustó mucho el color (casi es igual que el de los botines), y los detalles plateados no son estridentes. Es muy calentito, perfecto para estos días de frío.
En la foto veis que marcaba 49,95€. Pagué por él 18€, así que realmente fue una ganga.

9 - Zapatillas Xti (Mar): También las compré en esta feria. Tenían una promoción y comprando dos pares -éstos míos y los botines de Marian- salían a X€.
Las he usado ya varias veces. La derecha entra mejor que la izquierda, que me cuesta bastante meter. No sé vosotros, pero mi pie izquierdo es siempre más problemático en cuanto se refiere a calzado. Una vez puestas, son bastante cómodas -aunque no tanto como mis Sketchers Hollywood Rose-. Me gustan éstas porque al ser oscuras pegan con todo y tienen el detalle de los brillos que les da un toque sin ser muy cantosas.

Did you think we let the sales pass us by empty-handed? No, we didn't. Here are the clothes we got during the sales.

First off, a few things from Koroshi. We love their Desigual vibes for a fraction of the price. Besides, they have promotions on a regular basis.

1 - Grey Jeans (marox): It was marked down from €39.99 to €19.99. It's a size 40 -their stock ranges from a size 34 to 44)-.
I like the fact that the fabric is a bit stretchy, as they hug the body better.

2 - Navy Blue Jeans (marox): Again, marked down from €39.99 to €19.99. The bottom leg is slightly wider than on the other pair. The fabric is stretchy as well.

3- Light blue jeans (Marian).
It's a size 40. It was marked down from €39.99 to €17.99.
As the others above, the fabric is a bit stretchy.

4- Dark blue jeans (Marian).
It's also a size 40. It was marked down from €42.99 to €19.99.
It also comes in a stretchy fabric.



I love the decorations both of them have on the waist band and back pockets.

5- 'In Extenso' pyjamas (Marian).
It's a replacement for another one that was really well-worn.
It was marked down from €14.99 to €8.99.
I bought it at Alcampo supermarket.
It's very warm and comfy.

6 - Ankle boots from Pitillos (Marian): I got this on a recent trip to our hometown, Zamora. The ones I'd last bought there are looking a little bit worse for wear, because I've worn them pretty much nonstop.
I have already worn this new pair and they're really comfortable too. These retailed at €59. 

And finally, the stuff we got at a local discount fair, Gangamanía.




7 - Xti Ankle Boots (Marian): I liked both the colour and the design, as well as the laces at the back.
Even though the heel is higher than what I usually wear, it felt fairly comfortable. That being said, I only tried them for a few minutes, so I hope they will be equally comfy as they get through the wars.

8- Silvery Blue Jumper (Marian):
I really liked the colour -almost the same as in the boots-  and the fact that the silver threading is not very gaudy. It is very warm, perfect for the cold weather.



You'll see what this retailed for in the pic, €49.95, but was marked down to €18, so it was a bargain indeed.

9 - Zapatillas Xti (Mar): Also bought at the fair. They had a special deal that if you bought two (these and the ones Marian got) you paid x€ for both. The left shoe is a lot harder to put on than the right one. I don't know about you, but my left foot is slightly bigger than the right one and that's why I sometimes struggle when shopping for footwear.
Once you have them on, they're quite comfy, although not as much as my Sketchers Hollywood Rose-. What I like about these is the fact that they're black, as you can combine them better and the silvery specks give it a nice touch without them being too flashy.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de cumpleaños / Birthday gifts

¡Hola de nuevo!
¿Os apetece cotillear lo que me han regalado y me he regalado por mi reciente cumpleaños!
Pues seguid leyendo.

1- Kit ADN de *MyHeritage*: Sólo faltaba yo de hacerme el test en la familia y Marian me lo regaló. Pidió que me lo enviaran a mí directamente. Mandé mi muestra el día 4 de abril.
Haré una entrada dedicada sobre mi experiencia.

2 - Pigmento Focallure de Aliexpress: Marian me compró este pigmento en un tono tornasolado de esos que tanto me gustan.
No trae 'stopper' con agujeritos, así que tendré que ir con cuidado cuando lo use.
Os recuerdo que las transacciones en Aliexpress os pueden generar cashback (*Topcashback* es la que más suele dar).

3 - Bálsamo desmaquillante casero (hecho por Marian): No os preocupéis, que en breve compartirá la receta con todas vosotras. Me vino muy bien, porque el que me había comprado yo aún estaba de camino desde Corea.



4 - Impermeable rojo (mercadillo local): Mis padres me regalaron este impermeable en una reciente visita al mercadillo local. Marian se compró otro en otro tono. Costó 29€ y es la talla M. La capucha cubre bien la cabeza, no como otras prendas que te queda a medio tapar. No sé si se aprecia muy bien en la foto, pero tiene lunares pequeñitos.
Ya lo he estrenado y la verdad es que daba calor, ya que el material es como de plástico, que al fin y al cabo es el material más impermeable que existe.

Con el dinero que me dieron, me compré alguna cosilla, que luego os enseño.

Y por mi parte, me autorregalé lo siguiente:

1 - Bálsamo desmaquillante de moringa de ENature: El de Heimish ya va por la mitad y me gusta tener repuesto de lo que voy terminando. El envío ha sido bastante lento, hasta el punto de tocar fondo en el de Heimish sin que me hubiera llegado éste.
Contiene sólo 75 gramos y me costó 22,06€ (vendedor goodplaza). No recibí ninguna muestra.

Le tenía echado el ojo a una paleta de W7, aunque al final piqué con lo siguiente:

2 - Paleta de sombras Imagic de Aliexpress: Sumando el envío, esta paleta cuesta 6,48€.
Para el uso diario, las paletas resultan más prácticas que las sombras individuales. Esa ha sido mi excusa.
A ver si llega pronto, que ya está tardando.

3 - Brocha imitación Ita de Nars: Dudé entre comprarme una brocha tipo abanico, que algunas parecían aparatosas de guardar y al final me acordé de ésta, de la que todo el mundo hablaba hace unos años. Eso sí, ni de broma estaría dispuesta a gastarme lo que vale la original. La imitación además es de pelo sintético, mientras que en la auténtica es de cabra.  Quiero usarlo para el iluminador y quizá la pruebe también para colorete.
Lo cierto es que primero la pedí por Aliexpress- costaba 2,10€-, pero el vendedor ha cancelado el pedido sin explicación, así que la acabo de pedir por Ebay.

4 - Paleta de sombras 'Everchanging' de Focallure, de Aliexpress también: Con envío incluído, la paleta cuesta 4,25€. El vendedor ha tardado bastante en procesar el pedido, pero curiosamente, fue lo primero en llegar.
Os dejo un par de fotos para abrir boca, pero  prometo un post especial con chuaches de esta paleta tan popular.
Algunos tonos mates son polvorientos, pero lo cierto es que por lo general pigmenta de maravilla. Ya la he usado dos veces y de momento muy contenta.

Con el dinerito que recibí, me compré unas zapatillas para el verano.

5 -  Zapatillas de Deichmann: Costaron 19,90€. No traen la suela con Memory Foam como sí otros modelos de esta tienda, así que he aprovechado otras que tenía. Resulta que mi número, el 39, está agotado en toda España. El modelo que sí las traía, estaba agotado en mi número también. No es la primera vez que me pasa en esta tienda.
Las llevé una tarde por casa con calcetines para que se fueran adaptando y no me hicieran daño, ya que acostumbro a llevarlas sin calcetines. Sólo he tenido ocasión de usarlas un día después de eso y de momento, bien.

6 - Pulsera para Miband 1S: Digamos que ésto no es un capricho sino más bien una necesidad. La que tenía está en las últimas, ya que en alguna ocasión se me ha salido la Miband. Ya de paso, he querido probar un sistema diferente.
El envío ha sido muy rápido: la pedí el día 30 de abril y me llegó el 15 de mayo.

Y aparte de esto, tengo pendiente de recibir un pequeño pedido a Buyincoins con un par de tonterías.
Y puesto que mis existencias de perfume van menguando, puede que me compre uno.

Wanna take a peek into my birthday presents and the stuff I treated myself to?
Then read on.

1 - *MyHeritage* DNA Kit: I'm the last one in the family taking the test and Marian bought me the kit to do it. She had it delivered directly to me. I sent my sample on April 4th.
I'll write a dedicated post to my experience when the time comes.

2 - Focallure pigment from Aliexpress: My sister knows how much I love duochrome shades like this and got me this pigment. It doesn't have a stopper, so I'll have to be extra careful when I use it.
Quick reminder: You can get cashback from your Aliexpress orders (*Topcashback* is usually the most generous site).

3 - DIY Cleansing Balm (made by Marian): Don't worry, she'll soon be sharing the recipe with you all. This was very handy, as the one I'd ordered myself was still on its way from Korea.

4 -  Red rainproof coat (local flea market): My parents wanted to give me something and got this during a recent visit to one of the local flea markets. Marian bought herself another one in a different colour. It was €29 and it's a size M. The hoodie covers my head as it should, unlike similar items that only cover about half.
Don't know if it shows on the pic, but it has small polka dots.
I have used it once and I was sweaty afterwards, as the fabric is like plastic, which undoubtedly is the best waterproof material there is.

And this is what I treated myself to:

1 - Moringa Cleansing Balm from ENature: I was halfway through the Heimish one I'm currently using and I like to keep a backup before the stuff I'm using is done. Shipping was slowlier than usual, to the point I'd hit bottom on the Heimish one before I got the new one.
This only contains 75 ml and cost €22,06 (from seller goodplaza). I didn't get any samples with my order.

I'd had my eye on a W7 palette but ended up getting the following.

2 - Imagic Eyeshadow Palette from Aliexpress. This palette is all the rage right now. Palettes are more convenient for everyday use than singles, that was my excuse to try this.
Adding shipping, this was €6.48.
Hopefully, it won't take much longer to get here.

3 - Fake Nars Ita Brush: I've had my eye on a few fan brushes, but they seemed a bit bulky to store and then I remembered about this brush and all the hype there was about it a few years ago. There's no way I'd splurge on the real thing and besides, the bristles on this are synthetic while the real one is goat hair. I intend to use this for highlighter (which I seldom use) or even blush.
Here's the thing: I originally ordered this from Aliexpress - adding shipping, this was only €2.10, but the seller cancelled shipment without any explanation, so I ordered it again, now off eBay.

4 - Focallure 'Everchanging' Eyeshadow Palette: This was €4.25, with free shipping.
Processing time by the seller took a while, but surprisingly it was the first item I got.
Here are a couple teasers. You'll have a dedicated blog with swatches soon.
Some matte shades are a bit crumbly, but on the whole, the colour payoff in this palette is outstanding and I've already used it twice. So far, so good.

And with the cash I got, I bought myself a pair of summer sneakers.

5 - Deichmann sneakers: These were €19.90. They don't have memory foam insoles, as others from this store, so I had to reuse another pair. You see, my size, 39, is sold out nationwide and the other model I like which had them was not available in my size either. unfortunately, this is not the first time that's happened to me at this store.
I wore them first at home with some thick socks, as I wear these on bare feet.
The current weather has only allowed me to wear them once after that and I had no issues.

6 - Replacement stainless steel and silicone strap for Xiaomi MiBand 1S: This was actually something I really needed, as my existing strap was beginning to fail in effectively securing the MiBand. It was the perfect occasion to try a different kind of strap. 
Shipping was really fast, as I ordered this on April 30th and got this on May 15th.  

And besides all this, I'm awaiting a small order from Buyincoins with a couple of knick knacks. And given the fact my fragrance stash is running low, I may get myself a new one.

Mis Regalos de cumpleaños / My birthday presents

Hola chicas

Hoy me gustaría enseñaros los regalos que recibí y alguno que compré yo con motivo de mi cumpleaños, que celebré a finales de abril.

1- Zapatos de tacón, tienda local: Mis padres me regalaron estos zapatos de tacón alto para que de vez en cuando me arregle algo más. En el día a día tiro de prendas y calzado cómodo. Por si en la foto no se aprecia bien, son marrones.

2- Pantalón de Custo: En marzo hubo en Zamora una feria del stock, tipo Outlet. En uno de los puestos tenían muchas prendas de marcas como Guess, Desigual o Custo. Estos pantalones se quedaban a 20€. Vamos, un regalo.

En la misma feria, en otro puesto, me cogí esta camiseta de Desigual, por 15€. Es de la talla S y mi madre me tuvo que arreglar un poco la parte de abajo. Le regalé otra a nuestra madre y a Marian.

3-  Abrigo corto de piel: Creo que es de vaca, pero no lo sé seguro. Lo compraron en la peletería de unos amigos, que cerró. No pesa nada, algo de agradecer en cualquier prenda de abrigo.  Tiene un acabado como envejecido muy bonito.

Y ahora los regalos de Marian.

4 -  Reproductor mp3 de marca SelecLine (Alcampo): El reproductor mp3 que compré en Ebay hace unos meses no me ha durado nada, así que le sugerí a Marian que uno nuevo no me vendría mal. No soy partidaria de gastar mucho en estos cacharritos, puesto que los uso una o dos veces por semana.
Los auriculares son de un teléfono Nokia. 

5 - Soporte refrigerado para portátil: Mi portátil en verano se calienta hasta tal punto tras un par de horas de uso que se apaga sólo. Me hablaron de estas bases refrigeradas y Marian se ofreció a regalármela. Me gustaron más las que tenían en Amazon que las de Mediamarkt. Es de la marca Aukey, que ya conozco del altavoz externo que uso para clase. Estoy muy contenta con él, no hace nada de ruido y se nota más fresco el equipo.
Lo suelen tener como oferta flash, y aunque no es un producto caro, os podéis ahorrar unos eurillos. Por cierto, me acabo de pedir otra. 

Y como autorregalo de última hora, unas semanas después me pillé el último disco de Per Gessle, así como la caja de 10 discos 'Per Gessle Archives', que en CDON estaba tirada de precio.  Para que os hagáis una idea, en CDON la pillé a 36,95€ y en Amazon la tenían a... 149,49€. El envío son 4.95€ por pedido.
Le tenía echado el ojo desde hace tiempo, que costaba unos 100 euros cuando salió, pero obviamente el precio me echaba para atrás. Además de los 10 cds y el vinilo, tiene también un libro con fotos y comentarios de Per y Mats MP Persson.
Como véis, el disco viene además firmado. La caja contiene un vinilo, de ahí el tamaño.
El disco de Per se grabó en Nashville y tiene el estilo intimista de anteriores trabajos en sueco como 'Scener' o 'Mazarin', mi favorito.
No tiene nada que ver con lo que saca en inglés.

Today I'd like to show you the presents I got and also bought myself for my birthday, late in April.


1 - High heels, local shoe shop: My parents bought me these heels. My mum wants me to dress up for work a bit more, though my go-to shoes every day are really comfy ones. In case the picture colours are all wrong, they're brown.

2 - Custo BCN pants: There was an outlet event in town back in March. One of the stores had lots of designer brands like Guess, Desigual or Custo. These pants were marked down to just €20, a total steal.

At the same event, I got this Desigual Tee for just €15. It's a size S, so my mum had to adjust the bottom part a bit. I gave both my mum and Marian one too.

3- Short leather coat: I think it's calf leather or something. They got it from a friend's fur shop that had closed down a while ago. It's very lightweight, which is certainly an upside when it comes to winter coats. It has this distressed look to it that looks really nice.

And now, onto the presents I got from Marian.

4 - Mp3 player from SelecLine (Alcampo's house brand): The one I bought on Ebay a few months ago stopped working recently and I suggested Marian she could get me a new one. I'm not one to spend much on these devices, as I only use them a couple of times a week.  The earphones pictured are from an old Nokia phone.

5 - Laptop Cooling Pad: My laptop gets so hot in the summer after barely two hours of use that it shuts off on its own. I was advised to try these pads and Marian offered to be the one to get it for me. I liked the ones available at Amazon better than those at Mediamarkt., though. I wan't new to the brand Aukey, as it's the same manufacturer of my external bluetooth speaker that I use in class.
I'm very pleased with it. It is really quiet and can tell my laptop feels cooler when in use. 
It is a returning daily offer at Amazon, so check those deals out if you want to save a few euros. Not that it is too expensive anyway. 

And a last-minute gift-to-self, Per Gessle's latest Swedish solo album, as well as the PG Archives 10-cd box that was a total steal at CDON.  I paid €36.95 at CDON while this sold for a whopping €149.49 at AmazonSpain. Shipping is €4.95 per order.

I've had my eye on this for a while. It was about €100 when it first came out and the price was the only thing putting me off snatching it without a backward glance. Not this time. Besides the 10 cds and vinyl, it also contains a book with photographs and comments from Per and Mats MP Persson.
As you can see in the pic, Per's solo album is signed. The box contains a vinyl, which explains the size. Per's latest Swedish solo album was recorded in Nashville and has that intimate vibe his solo work in Swedish has in spades. Nothing to do with his releases in English.

Hace poco más de un mes fue mi cumpleaños. Os voy a enseñar lo que me regalaron.

-CD de Sharon Corr (repe).
El primer album en solitario de Sharon Corr, la violinista de The Corrs. Se llama "Dream of You".
Lo que Marox no sabía cuando me lo regaló es que ya lo tenía. No os podéis imaginar la cara que puso cuando se lo dije. Me daba pena y todo. Ella siempre se las ingenia para sorprender con los regalos, y lo hace muy bien. Buscó en mi casa donde sabe que tengo los CDs, y no lo vio. Pero éste lo tenía en otro sitio.
Me dice que lo venda por eBay, que no le va a parecer mal, pero me da cosilla. Lo tengo ahí guardado, junto a "su gemelo".

-DVD "Live in Sao Paulo" de Sharon Corr, de Ebay.
Con éste sí que ha acertado de pleno, porque no lo tenía, y además, han sacado pocas copias de este DVD.
Como os podéis imaginar, ya lo he visto, y la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho.
Además de canciones de sus dos discos en solitario, interpreta temas de The Corrs, que resulta curioso escuchar con Sharon como vocalista.

También me lo ha regalado Marox. Sabía que el otro que tenía empezaba a hacer cosas raras, y que tarde o temprano llegaría el momento de cambiarlo. Así que, otro acierto.



-Reproductor MP3 tipo iPod Shuffle, comprado en Ebay.
Igualito al que Marox se cogió para ella en dorado. No tiene memoria interna, sino una ranura para meter una tarjeta micro SD, que a mí me parece mucho más práctico, porque cuando se estropee el aparato (que esperamos que tarde mucho), no tengo que recuperar todas las canciones.
Los auriculares que trae no me gustan mucho, aparte de por la calidad de sonido, que no es muy buena, porque se me salen y tengo que estar apretándolos continuamente.

-Exfoliante corporal de Giovanni:
Otro regalo de Marox, con el que también ha acertado. Me lo regaló hace tiempo, y sabe que me encantó, así que ha optado por jugar sobre seguro.



-Pijama de verano.
Este ha sido un regalo de mi madre, que sabe que deseché un par de pijamas porque se habían desgastado (o roto) del uso.
He podido estrenarlo antes de que empiece a hacer mal tiempo.

-Botines de Fluchos.
Parece que este año se llevan mucho los botines, y me apetecía tanto tener unos..., que me los he regalado a mí misma.
Tienen una piel muy suave y son comodísimos. Los estoy usando a diario.
Los compré en *esta* zapatería de Zamora. Había una oferta del 50%, así que me costaron 49€. Genial, ¿no os parece?
Lo malo es que eran pares sueltos y mis padres y Marox no se pudieron coger nada porque no había nada rebajado en sus números.
Ventajas de calzar un pie pequeño, jeje.



Bueno, pues estos han sido los regalos que he recibido este año por mi cumple.
Así que, que cumpla muchos más, y que vosotras lo veáis, jeje.

Hi ladies,

My birthday was a bit more than a month ago, so it's time for me to share with you what I got from my loved ones.

-Music CD by Sharon Corr (duplicated!) It's the first solo album by Sharon Corr, violinist from The Corrs, called 'Dream of You'.
What Marox didn't know when she ordered this was that I already had it. You can't imagine the look on her face when I told her it. I felt really sorry for her. She always nails her presents and gets you something you were not expecting. She searched the CD collection at my place and didn't see it. But it turned out I kept this somewhere else.
She insists it's fine to sell it back on Ebay, that she won't feel bad, but I do. I'm keeping it next to its twin.

-'Live in Sao Paulo' DVD from Sharon Corr, from Ebay.
She did hit the jackpot with this one. I don't own this and apparently only a few copies of this were released.
Needless to say I've already watched it and I liked it very much. Besides songs from her two solo albums to date, she performs songs from The Corrs. It feels a bit strange to have her doing the lead vocals on those.



-SPC Cordless Landline phone, model TEL317290R (sold at Amazon): Another present from Marox. She knew that my old one had been acting funny for a while and that one day or another I'd have to chuck it. Another hit from her.

- iPod shuffle Mp3 player dupe, from Ebay: Exactly the same she bought for herself in gold. It doesn't have an inbuilt memory, but a micro SD slot which I think is even more practical. That way, the day it stops working -hopefully it will be a long day from now- I won't have to copy all the songs onto a new one again.



The earphones it came with are no good, not only because of the poor sound they give but because they come loose and I have to keep adjusting them in.

-Body scrub from Giovanni:
Another gift from Marox (she hit the jackpot again). She gave me some time ago, and knew I love it, so she preferred playing safe.

-Summer pyjamas: This was a present from my mum, who knows I said goobye to a few sleepwear items who were too worn out to use. I was able to use them before the cold weather came.



- Fluchos Ankle Boots: 
It seems this year ankle boots are in and I really wanted a pair... so this was a happy-birthday-to-me gift. The leather on these is silky soft and they're really comfy. I'm wearing them on a daily basis. I purchased them at a local shoe shop in our hometown, Zamora. They were having an early autumn sale with items 50% off, so I only paid €49 for these boots. Isn't it great?

The downside was that they only had a small selection of sizes available and neither my parents nor Marox could get any, since there was nothing discounted in their size.
The perks of having small feet, lol.

Well, these were my birthday presents this year.

Compras varias acumuladas - Sundry Haul.

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros las compras que hemos hecho últimamente.

1 - Batería portátil de 2000mAh: En realidad no fue una compra, sino un regalo de una editorial que le hicieron a los profes y como marox ya tiene una de más capacidad, pues me la regaló a mí. Me vendrá muy bien para los viajes.

2 - Zapatillas con plantilla MemoryFoam de Easy Wear: (marox). En nuestra última visita a El Corte Inglés, me topé con estas zapatillas en mi número, rebajadas. Aunque de por sí no eran caras, a nadie le amarga un dulce.
Las tenían también en tonos morados, pero sin rebajar. Me costaron 20,97€ y son el número 39, el que suelo calzar en verano.
Son muy, muy cómodas. Las llevo tal cual, sin calcetines y no me han hecho el más mínimo daño. Curiosamente, me había estado probando varios modelos de Skechers allí mismo y cuando casi salíamos, las vimos junto a la caja. ¡Menos mal que me dio por tocar la plantilla! Si os gusta este tipo de calzado cómodo, que sepáis que ahora muchas marcas tienen ya calzado con MemoryFoam a buen precio.

3- Zapatillas Skechers con Memory Foam (Marian).
Marox se compró sus zapatillas después de oírme hablar maravillas de éstas.
Son en el número 37 y estoy encantada con ellas. Las estoy usando muchísimo.
Me las pidió Marox por Amazon (ella es miembro Premium, y así no paga los gastos de envío). Ella se pidió unas sandalias de Memory Foam que por desgracia tuvo que devolver porque una de ellas le apretaba una barbaridad. Creo recordar que costaron sobre 36€. Sí, habéis leído bien.
¿Cuál es el truco? Que es un modelo de niño. Es lo bueno que tiene tener el pie pequeño, que a veces, encuentro estos chollos.



4- Trípode Velbon EX-640 (Marian).
Soy aficionada a la fotografía, y el trípode que usaba antes no era muy fiable, que digamos. Por eso mi profesor me sugirió que me comprara uno mejor. Después de mucho buscar, me decidí por éste que veis.
Me costó algo más de 60€ en Amazon (sí, también se lo encargué a Marox).
Estoy encantada con él. La verdad es que se nota la diferencia de precio entre el que tenía y éste. Si lo despliego completamente, me queda a la altura perfecta, de manera que no me tengo que inclinar para hacer las fotos (mis cervicales me lo agradecerán).

5- Trolley de 4 ruedas Airport (Marian).
Aunque la maleta que he estado usando hasta ahora está en perfecto estado, tiene 2 ruedas. Esto hace que cuando está llena, cueste más tirar de ella. Por eso desde hace tiempo, le tenía ganas a una de este tipo.
La compré en Alcampo, y me costó 57,95€.
Estoy deseando estrenarla. Ya falta poco.

We're back with a haul post, ready to share with you the stuff we've bought lately.

1 - 2000mAh Power Bank: Not exactly a purchase, it was a gift that marox and her fellow teachers received from a publishing house. Since she already owns one -with more capacity- she decided to hand it over to me. I'll make good use of it when we travel, I hope.

2 -  Sneakers with MemoryFoam insole from Easy Wear (Marox): During our latest visit to El Corte Inglés, I spotted these sneakers in my size that were on the clearance section. Although this department store's clothing and shoe line is hardly expensive, everyone loves a bargain, esp. me. They had them in purple tones, but apparently those were not discounted. I paid €20.97 for mine, size 39, which is the one I use in summer.
They're tremendously comfy. I wear them just like that, no socks or anything and to this day I haven't had any issues with chafing, redness, blisters or anything of the kind.
I had been trying on several models from Skechers and on the way out these caught my eye. It's just as well I felt the insole! If you favour comfy shoes, keep an eye on similar models, as many brands today have affordable MemoryFoam shoes.

3- Sneakers with Memory Foam insole from Skechers (Marian).
Marox bought the ones above after hearing me saying wonders about these.
They're in size 37 and I'm delighted with them. I'm wearing them a lot.
Marox ordered them from Amazon (she has a Prime account, so she doesn't pay for shipping). She had ordered a pair of Memory Foam sandals for her but unfortunately had to return them as one of them was oddly tight.
I think mine were about €36. Yes, you read that right. Where's the catch? This pair is from their children collection. The perks of having small feet. Sometimes I get lucky and find this kind of bargains.

4- Velbon EX-640 tripod (Marian).
I'm an amateur photographer, and the tripod I used before wasn't that reliable, so to speak.
So my teacher suggested me to buy a better one. After some time looking for one, I decided to buy this one.
I paid a bit more than €60 at Amazon (yes, I asked Marox to order it for me).
I'm very happy with it. It really is worth the price.
When I spread it out completely, it has the perfect height for me. That way I don't have to lean in to take photos (my vertebrae will be thankful for that).



5- 'Airport' 4-wheel trolley suitcase (Marian).
Even though the suitcase I've been using so far is in perfect condition, it has only 2 wheels. So when it's full, it's more difficult to pull. That's why I wanted to have one of these 4-wheel trolleys.
I bought it from Alcampo Mall, and I paid €57.95 for it. I'm willing to use it (it'll be very soon).
