Compras varias 2020 / Sundry Haul 2020 (III)

Hola, chicas.

Aquí venimos a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente, aunque ya aviso que tengo otro post de compras en el horno que estoy deseando compartir con vosotros.

1 - Manteca corporal de granada y bayas de goji de Lidl: Lidl es uno de los supermercados que más cerca nos queda para hacer la compra. Me sorprendió verlas, ya que no las trajeron en su día. Había otras novedades que parecían interesantes (gama Skin Foodies) -un par de cremas faciales y de manos bastante decentes-, pero compré un par de estas mantecas: una para mí y otra para Marian. Yo tardaré bastante en probarla, porque tengo unas cuantas compradas antes e intento irlas gastando por orden de antigüedad. Marian creo que acaba de estrenar la suya.
El precio fue de 2,49€ cada una.
Son veganas, contienen varios aceites y ácido hialurónico.

2 - Desodorante Dove 0% (marox): Lo compré en... Primaprix. Precio: 1.50€
No lo he estrenado aún, pero como allí los tienen muy bien de precio y los que hemos probado hasta ahora nos han gustado, pues siempre viene bien tener repuesto.

3 - Mascarilla facial Pure & Care (marox): De Primaprix también, al módico precio de 0,95€. Tengo otra sin estrenar.

4 - Sérum Pure & Care de ácido hialurónico: Es de la marca que fabrica para Primaprix. Me sorprendió que sólo tuvieran este formato mini de 5 ml, cuando siempre han tenido de 30ml. No es mala idea para probar el producto y saber si nos convence o no, o para llevar de viaje. Trae cuentagotas, como suele ser habitual en este tipo de producto.
Precio: 1,95€
Lo he probado y aunque no está mal, me sigue gustando más el de Scinic.

5 - Mascarillas reutilizables con filtro de *Aliexpress*: Compré una para cada uno de la familia y un par de paquetes de filtros. La de mi padre, en gris más discretas y las nuestras en distintos tonos, todos muy 'de sirena'. Me temo que las mascarillas van a formar parte de nuestras vidas a partir de ahora y ya de tener que llevarlas, pues al menos 'con glamour' y de paso, generamos menos residuos.
Al tener válvula, en ciertos sitios como hospitales es mejor NO usarlas, pero para ir por la calle están bien.
Las alternamos con alguna de las muchas que ha cosido Marian.

6- Desodorante Cien (Lidl) sin sales de aluminio.
Fue un encargo de Marian, que se había quedado sin desodorante.
Le está gustando mucho.
Como veis en la foto, es en formato roll-on.

Here we are to show you our latest purchases. Mind you that I have another Haul post that is in the works that I can't wait to share with you.

1 - Pomegranate and goji berries Body Butter from Lidl: Lidl is one of the supermarkets that are closer to my parents' home here and where we do most of our shopping. I was surprised to see these since our store didn't have them when they first came out. There were a few more releases from a new line called Skin Foodies - a couple of face creams and hand creams that looked decent enough -, but I got two of these butters, one for myself and another one for Marian. It will take me a longer time to use mine since I have others that were bought earlier and I like to use them in order of purchase. I believe Marian will soon open hers.
Price: €2.49 each.
They're vegan and contain several oils as well as hyaluronic acid.

2 - Dove 0% deodorant (marox): I got it at... my nearest Primaprix outlet supermarket. Price: €1.50
I haven't tried it yet. I like to get them there since they're much more affordable than elsewhere. The ones we've tried so far were quite good and it's nice to have a small stockpile. 

3 - Pure & Care Sheet Mask (marox):
Also from Primaprix, at €0.95. I already had one of these, but I haven't tried them yet.

4- Pure&Care hyaluronic acid serum:
It's from their house brand. I was surprised to only find these 5ml mini sizes when they normally have 30ml bottles. However, it's not a bad idea to test them and see if you like them enough or to use them for travelling. It does come with a dropper, like most serums.
Price: €1.95
I've tried it a few times. It's not a bad product, but I prefer the Scinic one I normally use.

5 - Reusable face masks with filter from *Aliexpress*: I bought one for each of us and 2 sets of filters. My dad's rather modest but ours in different 'mermaid' shades. I'm afraid that face masks are here to stay and will be a part of our lives from now on. And if we have to wear one, we'd better do it in style and minimize waste at the same time. 

Since they have a valve, it's better NOT to use them inside a hospital, for instance, but to wear outside they're absolutely fine.
We're using these in conjunction with the ones Marian made.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2020 (IV)

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros últimos terminados.

1- Perfume Lalique: Se ha terminado tanto mi frasco como el que le regalé a mi madre. Nos ha gustado muchísimo, pero sí que hemos notado que cuando queda como la mitad del frasco el olor no es tan intenso ni perdura tanto. Lo compré en *Notino* a ciegas (tras leer reseñas en *Fragantica*) y ha sido todo un descubrimiento. Que sepamos, no la venden en las perfumerías españolas, por lo que no es un perfume que la gente conozca y esté trillado.



2- Desodorante en barra Lactovit 0% sales de aluminio (Marian).
Me ha gustado mucho este desodorante. Protege bien, y no me ha irritado la piel.
No descarto repetir con él.

3- Desodorante en barra Queen Helene Aloe Vera (Marian).
No lo he llegado a terminar, porque cada vez que lo usaba, me picaban las axilas. Con otros de la marca no me ha ocurrido, pero de momento no repetiré, teniendo otras opciones.



4 - Espuma de ducha Cien Lidl (marox):Seguro que recordáis esta colección que sacó Lidl hace ya algún tiempo. Había 2 lineas diferentes, que recordaban a los productos de Rituals. Si bien los olores no están para nada tan logrados como los de Rituals, el precio es mucho más ajustado. Lo que más me ha gustado es que el dispensador no suelta un chorro a toda caña al principio, sino que lo hace de forma controlada, algo que no me pasa con los de Rituals.
De momento no me haré con ninguna espuma más. Prefiero formatos más ecológicos.

5- Manteca corporal de coco de The Body Shop (Marian).
Ya sabéis que el olor a coco me encanta, así que esta manteca no podía ser menos.
Es muy hidratante y agradable de usar, como todas las de la marca.
Ésta vino de regalo con una revista.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 -  Lalique EdP: I finished my own bottle and so did our mum hers. We truly loved this, but we did notice that by the time you get to the middle of the bottle the scent is not as strong or lasting on the skin. It was a somewhat blind purchase off *Notino* (though I did read quite a lot of reviews on *Fragantica*) and has been an excellent discovery. It's not available at any Spanish drugstore that we are aware of, so it's not a fragrance people know or are sick to death of.

2 - Lactovit 0% aluminium salts stick deodorant (Marian). I really liked this one. It keeps you odour-free and didn't irritate my skin. I don't rule out getting it again.



3 - Queen Helene Aloe Vera deodorant stick (Marian): I didn't really use it up, because it stang my armpits. It's never happened to me using others from this brand, but considering I now have other choices I won't get those either.

4- Cien shower foam from Lidl (marox): You may remember this collection that Lidl released some time ago. They had two different lines that were very reminiscent of Rituals. Although the scents are nowhere near as enticing as the latter, you can get these for a fraction of the price.
What I liked best was the fact that the pump dispenser does not shoot out product like Rituals do at the beginning. It comes out nicely instead.
I won't get any more foams for the time being, as I prefer more environmentally-friendly formats.



5- Coconut body butter from The Body Shop (Marian).
You already know that I love coconut scented stuff, so this body butter is right up my alley.
It's very moisturizing and pleasant to use, just like all the ones from this brand.
This was  a magazine freebie some time ago.

Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2020 (III)

En esta ocasión os enseñamos los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 -  Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide' (marox): La compré muy baratita -por 1,25€, ya que caducaba pronto- en ese antro de perdición llamado *Primaprix*. Por cierto, en *Groupon* tuvieron una oferta interesante: comprando un cupón de 1€ te descontaban 4€ por una compra mínima de 7€. Estaba limitada a un cupón por persona.
No recuerdo si os había enseñado este producto en una entrada de compras. Probablemente no me ha dado ni tiempo.

2 - Recambios compatibles Oral B de Lidl: Como diría Beatriz de MissPotingues, se van de cabeza a Mis Descartes. La calidad es muy desigual en el pack: algunos recambios se ponen ¡y quitan! bien y otros en cambio no hay manera de que salgan, hasta el punto que estropeas el recambio al quitarlo. Olvidaos de ellos si de forma habitual o aunque sea ocasional, tenéis que compartir la base del cepillo. Creo recordar que no llegaron por poco a los 5€ por el paquete de 8. Aunque el precio está muy bien, no los recomiendo en absoluto.

3 - Mascarilla arcilla violeta Sephora (marox):  Ni que decir tiene que me ha durado muuuchooo más que los 4 usos que pone en el envase. Hablando de envase, me parece de lo más práctico y es una pena que hayan prescindido de él.


4- Perfume "Lovely"- Sarah Jessica Parker (Marian).
Fue un regalo de marox, como todos los perfumes que he venido usando últimamente.
A mí me ha gustado, pero cuando lo ha usado ella en alguna ocasión, dice que ni fú ni fa.

5 - Manteca corporal de Natura Estónica (marox): La compré hace ya bastantes meses en Druni y como casi todo lo de esta marca, me ha parecido un producto muy bueno. El aroma quizá no es tan goloso como las de TBS que suelo usar, pero se extiende bien, el tarro contiene 300ml y creo recordar que no llegó a los 4€, por lo que genial en cuanto a relación calidad-precio.

This time we're showing you what we've used up recently.

1 - Holika Holika 'Skin Rescuer Mask Sheet - Peptide (marox):  I got this for a steal -€1.25 to be exact, due to the short expiration date- at that sinful outlet supermarket called Primaprix. By the way, they recently had a Groupon deal where you paid €1 and got €4 off with a minimum purchase of €7. It was limited to one per person, though.
I don't recall if I got round to showing you this in a Haul post. I may not even had time to do so.

2 - Oral B compatible brush heads from Lidl: Just like one of our followers, Beatriz from Miss Potingues would say, they go straight to Mis Descartes or Items to Throw Away without a backward glance.
I noticed the quality is very hit and miss within the same package: some brush heads are easy to put on and take off whereas others are a real pain to take off, to the point that you ruin the piece in the process. Forget about these replacements if you need to share the brush body on a regular or even occasional basis. I believed these retailed for slightly under €5 and came in an 8-pack. As affordable as they may be, I wouldn't recommend them at all.


3 - Sephora purple clay mask (marox):  Needless to say I managed to stretch this muuch further than the 4 uses stated on the packaging. On the subject of packaging, this is super convenient and it's just a pity Sephora decided to discontinue this mask format.

4- 'Lovely' by Sarah Jessica Parker fragrance (Marian).
It was a gift from marox, as every fragrance I've been using lately.
I liked it quite much, but when she used it some times, she didn't like it. 

 
5 - Natura Estonica Body Butter (marox): I bought this many months ago and with pretty much everything I've tried from the brand, I really liked it. The scent may not be as gourmand as those TBS I'm now so used to, but it's great value for money, with a 300ml tub. It's easy to spread and if memory serves, this was less than €4.

Productos Terminados / Product Empties 2020 (II)

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 - Perfilador automático Essence azul, tono #09 Cool Down (marox): Ya sabéis que me gustan los perfiladores de ojos únicamente en formato automático. Los de Essence dan muy buen resultado y están disponibles en muchos colores. La mina no se queda dura con el paso del tiempo, cosa que sí me ha pasado con, por ejemplo, los antiguos de Mercadona.

2 - Desodorante Dove sin aluminio, pomelo y hierbalimón (Marox):
Lo compramos en *Primaprix* y a las dos nos ha gustado más la variedad de pepino, ya que irrita menos la piel tras la depilación y protege mejor. Eso sí, hay que tener en cuenta de que se trata de desodorantes y no antitranspirantes.

3- Champú de agua de coco de Organics OGX (Marian).
Es totalmente transparente y un poco espeso, lo que quiere decir que con poca cantidad es suficiente.
Deja el pelo hidratado, pero sin sensación grasa.
No descarto repetir con él, aunque de momento he vuelto a los champús sólidos.
A mi hermana se le hizo un poco denso, decía que le dejaba el pelo un poco apelmazado, al tenerlo fino.
Lo compré en una perfumería Arenal.



4- Gel de dermabrasión facial de Origins (Marian).
Es una mini talla que venía en un cracker que compré en los precios locos de Sephora.
Me ha gustado mucho. Tiene un gránulo de un tamaño adecuado para exfoliar la piel sin irritarla.

5- Manteca corporal de haba tonka, de Cien, de venta en Lidl (Marian).
Ya la había probado, y me había gustado mucho, así que volví a comprarla.
Se extiende muy bien en la piel, y la deja hidratada, pero sin sensación grasa.
Por lo visto en febrero han debido tener una nueva linea de granada o goji, que también incluía una manteca corporal, pero a nuestra tienda más cercana no ha llegado.

6 - Serum de ácido hialurónico coreano de Scinic (marox): Un clásico que no puede faltarme, aunque a veces he estado tentada de probar otras marcas. Como siempre, lo compré por Ebay.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties'.

1 - Essence automatic eyeliner pencil in #09 Cool Down (marox): You know that I only use eyeliner pencils that come in a twist-up format. The Essence ones are a great bang for your buck and work great, as well as being available in a wide range of shades. The pencil lead doesn't harden over time, unlike others I've tried, i.e. the old Deliplus -Mercadona ones.

2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant, grapefruit and lemongrass: We got this from Outlet supermarket Primaprix and we both prefer the other scent available, with cucumber extract, since it doesn't irritate the skin after shaving and provides far better protection.
That being said, bear in mind these are just deodorants and not antiperspirants.



3- Organics (Ogx) coconut water shampoo (Marian).
It's totally transparent and the consistency is a bit thick, so a small amount goes a long way.
It leaves your hair moisturised, but without a greasy feeling.
I will probably repurchase it in the future, but now I'm using shampoo bars again.
My sister said it was a bit too thick and heavy for her thin hair. 
I bought this at Arenal drugstores.

4- Origins 'Modern Friction' dermabrasion gel (Marian).
It's a mini size included in a cracker I bought at the Sephora sales.
I like it very much. Its exfoliating particles are the right size to gently scrub the skin on your face without irritating it.



5- Tonka bean body butter by Cien (sold at Lidl supermarkets) (Marian).
I've already used it before, and I liked it, so I bought it again.
It's very easy to apply, and leaves your skin moisturized, but not greasy. 
Lidl supermarkets apparently had in February another range based on pomegranate or goji which included a body butter, but it was nowhere to be seen at our nearest supermarket. 

6 - Scinic hyaluronic acid ampoule (marox): It's a staple in my skincare routine, although I've been tempted to try out other ones a few times. As always, I got this off Ebay.

Compras Varias / Sundry Haul

Aquí estoy de nuevo para enseñaros mis últimas compras.

1 - Espuma de ducha 'Asian Spirit' con flor de cerezo y aceite de almendras, Cien: Lidl está que lo peta últimamente, sacando copias de productos de éxito (Thermomix, planchas y cepillos alisadores, etc). El último golpe de efecto ha sido sacar dos líneas de productos que recuerdan mucho a los de Rituals. Piqué con esta espuma, que era el producto que me causaba más curiosidad. Tardaré aún en usarla, ya que procuro irlas gastando en orden de compra. 3,99€

2 - Toallitas desmaquillantes para piel sensible, Cien: Aunque hace tiempo que no me desmaquillo exclusivamente con toallitas, me gusta tener un paquete para esos días (o noches) en las que una llega agotada o muy tarde, con pocas ganas de dobles limpiezas. De momento las he usado sólo una vez y me han gustado. Había otro pack que traía 5 toallitas más, pero que no tenía el cierre de plástico duro de éstas. Me costaron 0,99€

3 - Esmalte gel tono 'Nude' de Primaprix: Contiene 5ml, es necesario usar lámpara para que sequen. Son libres de crueldad animal, fabricados en China para las *tiendas* Primaprix bajo la marca Max & More.
Lo he estrenado ya en una manicura.
Tengo también la base de esta marca (que en la tienda de Zamora era el único producto que tenían). Si tenéis suerte, podéis encontrar unos 5 ó 6 tonos, todos al módico precio de 0,95€.
Os recomiendo que si véis alguno que os guste, os lo llevéis. He vuelto otra vez a la tienda y esa ocasión sólo tenían las bases y el color rojo.

4 -  Starting treatment Essence de Secret Key, edición con rosas: Una ya va teniendo una edad, y afortunadamente, ahora cuidar nuestra piel ya no sale tan caro como hace años, en los que apenas había unas pocas marcas medianamente asequibles.
Este producto lo utilizo a modo de tónico, después de desmaquillarme o lavarme la cara. Proporciona una hidratación ligera, que luego complementaremos con otros productos.
Es una recomendación de una de mis youtubers favoritas.
Por cierto, ¿os apetece un video al respecto, con recomendaciones de canales en Youtube?
Lo compré por Ebay, a la *tienda oficial* de la marca, por 21,90 dólares.
Os recuerdo que podéis obtener dinero por vuestras compras en Ebay de los principales proveedores de cashback. Mi favorita es *topcashback*.
El vendedor me mandó un par de muestras del mismo producto, un peeling enzimático de limón.

5 - Mascarilla de arcilla violeta de *Sephora*: Cuesta 4,75€, contiene 35ml y en teoría da para 4 usos -yo le calculo unos cuantos más-. La hemos usado una vez y es muy agradable, ya que al no secar del todo, no se queda tirante como otras.
Lo cierto es que quería la de arcilla rosa, pero no les quedaba, así que éste fue el premio de consolación.
Aprovechamos que Marian tenía que canjear la tarjeta de su cumpleaños para picar con algunas cosillas.

I'm back here to show you my latest purchases.

1 - Cien 'Asian Spirit' Foam Wash, with Japanese Cherry Blossom and Almond oil: Lidl is really taking the beauty and household world by storm with its latest knock-offs (their Thermomix-inspired food processors, several hair straighteners and combs, and so on). Their latest hit was releasing two different ranges that are very reminiscient of Rituals. I caved in and got the item that got my eye the most. It will be a while until I actually use this foam wash, as I like to use earlier purchases before newer ones. This was €3.99.

2 - Cien Makeup Remover Wipes for Sensitive skin: Although it's been a while since wipes were my sole remover, I like to keep some for those days when you get home knackered (or late nights) and are just not in the mood for double cleansing rituals. So far I've only used them once and they worked nicely. They had another pack with a 30-count (5 more than this) that unfortunately lacked the hard plastic lid these have. I paid €0.99 for these wipes.

 

3 -  'Nude' gel polish from Primaprix: Contains 5ml and must be used with an LED lamp for it to cure. These are cruelty free and made in China for *Primaprix* discount supermarkets under their Max & More brand.
I already used it for a mani. I also have their base coat that I got in my hometown (it was the only gel product they had). If you're lucky, you'll find a small selection of about 5 or 6 colours for only €0.95 each.
My advice is to grab any shade you like when you first see them. Here's the thing, I returned to the store a few weeks later and they only had basecoats and red gels.

4 -  Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence, Rose Edition: I'll be reaching a certain age soon, but thankfully skincare is more affordable than before, when there were only a handful of budget brands available.
I've been using this product as a toner, right after taking off my makeup or washing my face to restore hydration. It provides light hydration to the skin, to be later aided by other products.
It was a recommendation from one of my favourite youtubers.
Now that I'm on this subject, would you like a post with some recommendations for Youtube channels to follow?
I got this on Ebay, from the brand's *official store* there.  I paid $21.90 for it.
Remember that you can get cashback from most cashback sites. My favourite's *topcashback*.
Seller sent me two samples of the same product, their enzyme lemon peeling gel.

 5 - Sephora Purple Clay Mask: This was €4.75 and contains 35 ml and according to the brand is enough for 4 uses -I can stretch that easily -. We've used this once and it is very pleasant to use. Since this doesn't dry completely, your skin doesn't feel uncomfortably tight.
The truth is I wanted to try the pink one but they'd run out, so I settled for this one instead.
We went to Sephora so that Marian could collect her birthday freebies, but also got a couple things while we were at it.

Productos terminados / 'Finito' products #67.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestros "terminados" hasta el momento.

1 - Mascarillas Naturaleza y Vida:  Como véis, se trata de dos variedades diferentes.
Las teníamos en nuestra segunda residencia y quedaba ya muy poca cantidad. De momento, no repetiremos, ya que la verde, de la que tenemos otro bote que también está en las últimas, se nos queda corta.





2 -Manteca corporal Alba Botanica: Compré esta manteca hace ya un tiempo en Vitacost. Tenía un precio moderado. Como es habitual en esta tienda, los productos tienen una composición bastante más natural de lo que se suele encontrar en España.
Tiene un olor a frutos secos y como a caramelo muy agradable y que perdura en la piel. Me gusta aplicar siempre las mantecas sobre la piel mojada, así gasto menos cantidad y se extienden mejor.

3 - Gelatina para rizos 'Curling Custard' de Kinky Curly: Compré este producto hace ya bastante en Vitacost. Lo cierto es que no era nada barato, pero me apetecía probar un producto natural con buenas opiniones y este fue el escogido. Aunque deja el pelo bien, tampoco me ha parecido como para repetir, teniendo en cuenta que hay que pedirlo fuera.  Lo he usado a temporadas y lo que queda de producto se ha quedado reseco.

4 - Sombra en crema Metal Glam de Essence: La verdad es que de todas las sombras metal glam de tubo, ésta era la mejor con diferencia. Como véis ya está el tubo muy gastadito y ya cuesta que salga producto.

Es una pena que apenas se encuentren sombras con este formato. 

5 - Espuma baño Rituals, de la gama Ritual of Light: Como sabéis, suelo aprovechar las promociones de las revistas para hacerme con los productos de Rituals, y éste fue el caso en esta ocasión. Esta espuma tenía un olor a canela muy agradable, que perduraba algo en la piel.

6 - Crema corporal Rituals, Ritual of Ayurveda: Esta crema corporal, de la línea con rosa de la India y miel vino también de regalo con alguna revista. El olor no era nada empalagoso y también perdura algo en la piel.

7 - Mascarilla tissú con colágeno de Malie: Me vino con algún pedido de cosmética coreana hace ya una eternidad. Confesión: suelo "coleccionar" las muestras que vienen en los pedidos, es decir, que rara vez las uso y es algo que me he propuesto remediar.

8 - Manteca corporal de haba tonka y karité de Cien Nature:  Fue parte de una edición limitada. Curiosamente, varios de los productos han pasado luego al surtido permanente, pero no es el caso de este producto. Es un poco más pastosa que otras mantecas (TBS ó Deliplus, por ejemplo), pero no es una sensación desagradable. Simplemente, hay que masajearla un poco más para que penetre. Creo que costó unos 2€, así que no se le puede pedir la perfección, creo yo. El olor es como a frutos secos, suave.

Here we are again to show you our latest 'empties' so far.

1- Naturaleza y Vida Hair Masks: As you see, they are from two different ranges, the hair loss and Organic ones. We had these tubs in our second home and there was very little left of both. We won't repurchase for now, as we've noticed the green one was not as good to our hair as it used to be. Yes, we have another tub of this that is on its last legs too.

2 - Alba Botanica Body Butter: I bought this a while back off Vitacost. It was reasonably priced and as with pretty much anything you can get on this store, the ingredients are far better than the brands sold locally, at least in Spain.
It has a nutty, caramel scent to it that lingers on the skin. I like to apply all body butters on wet skin, as I use a smaller amount and they spread a lot easier.

 

3 - Kinky Curly's Curling Custard: I bought this long ago on Vitacost. I felt like splurging on a natural styling product that had good reviews to see what that was like and this is the one I went for. I leaves my hair looking good, but not to the point that would make me repurchase, considering you have to get this from abroad.  I've been using this on and off and the remaining product has now dried out.



4 - Essence Metal Glam Eyeshadow: The truth is that from all the tube eyeshadows on this now discontinued range (or format) this one was by far the best. As you see, there was very little product left and you could barely get anything out.
It's a pity it's so damn hard to find eyeshadows in a tube.




5 - Rituals Foam Wash (black and gold bottle): As you know, I get all my Rituals products as magazine freebies and that was the case this time as well. This foam had a very captivating cinnamon scent that lingered on the skin a bit.

6 - Ritual of Ayurveda Body Cream: From their Indian Rose and Honey line, it was another magazine freebie. The scent was really nice and unobtrusive that lingers on the skin for a bit.

7 - Malie Collagen Sheet Mask: This came with some K-Beauty order a lifetime ago. Confession time: I 'collect' samples, meaning, I rarely use them and that's something I've vowed to change.

8 - Cien Nature Tonka bean and Shea body butter: It was part of a LE organic line. Strangely enough, other items in that limited edition are now permanently in stock, but that's not the case with this body butter. It is much thicker than others like TBS or the Spanish Deliplus, but it's not a deal breaker. All you have to do is massage it more into the skin until it soaks in. This was about €2, so I guess perfection in this price point would be too much to ask.
It has a pleasant, nutty scent.

Compras varias / Sundry Haul

Aquí venimos a enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

1- Perfilador de ojos retráctil de larga duración 02# Hot Chocolate de Essence (marox): Ya sabéis que me gusta usar máscara de pestañas marrón con los maquillajes en tonos neutros, pero ahora mismo no tengo ningún lápiz marrón, así que compré este en el supermercado Alimerka. Me costó 1,89€.

 2 - Body Spray 'Pink Sweet Pea' de Body Fantasies Signature: 3,99€ en supermercados Alimerka. Me gustó tanto en su día, que he repetido. En nuestro supermercado, las tienen dentro del mueble de Essence, donde estarían las ediciones limitadas.
Trae 94 ml.

3 - Mascarilla Rizos Lidl: Me había fijado en esta mascarilla en una visita anterior. Me sorprendió para bien que los ingredientes de los que presume en letras grandes estuvieran bastante arriba en la lista de ingredientes. En casa llevamos usándola varias semanas y nos está gustando mucho. La de NyV se nos estaba quedando corta de hidratación.
Cuesta 2,19€.

4 - Agua Micelar Lidl: 1,59€. Me queda todavía de la de Garnier. Me gusta mucho este envase con su dispensador tan característico de algunos productos de Lidl.
Lo compré porque suele costar encontrarla, y de hecho, sólo ví este bote. Espero que el producto en sí funcione bien también.

5 - Perfume 'Perles de Lalique': Este perfume en concreto tenía los gastos de envío gratis. Ya lo he probado y dura mucho. A mi madre le ha gustado éste mucho más que el que le compré a ella de esta misma marca, así que con gusto se lo prestaré.
Me costó 39,90€. Me cogí también otro pack de Invisibobble.

Here we are again to show you our latest purchases.

1 - Essence Long-lasting twist eyeliner in # 02 'Hot Chocolate' (marox): You know I like to use brown mascara for neutral looks, but I didn't have any brown liners now. I got this at a local supermarket. It was €1.89

2 - Body Fantasies Signature 'Pink Sweet Pea' body mist: I liked it so much that I got myself another bottle. I bought this as a local supermarket that keeps this inside the Essence counter, where LE should go.
This 3.2 fl oz / 94 ml was €3,99.

3 - Lidl Hair Mask for Curly Hair: I'd eyed this on a previous visit to Lidl. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the ingredients it boasts on the front were quite high up in the list of ingredients at the back. We've been using this for a couple of weeks at home and we like it very much so far. The one we were using no longer felt nourishing enough.
This was only €2.19.

4 - Lidl Micellar Water: 1,59€. I haven't finished the Garnier one. What I liked about this one is the pump bottle that so many Lidl products now have. I grabbed it because it can be hard to find and indeed, this was the last bottle at my store. Hope the product itself is good as well.

5 -  Perfume 'Perles de Lalique': This perfume, in particular, had free shipping. I've tested it already and the longevity is outstanding. My mum liked this more than the other Lalique perfume I bought her recently. She's welcome to use it anytime.
This was €39.90. I also ordered another pack of Invisibobble.

Aquí estamos otra vez para enseñaros lo que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Maquillaje mineral Sephora, tono #26 Peach: Me gusta mucho este maquillaje mineral en formato compacto, más práctico que los que vienen como polvo suelto. Lo utilizo tanto sólo, cuando sólo necesito dar a mi rostro un aspecto saludable o para sellar la CC Cream, usando menos cantidad. La esponjita que trae es bastante útil y tiene dos lados diferentes según cómo queramos que sea la aplicación, más o menos ligera.
Tenía comprado repuesto desde hace un montón de tiempo, pero como véis, he aprovechado bien el producto. He hecho algo más que tocar fondo.
Tiene un precio de 15,95€, aunque se puede conseguir un poco más barata si es en Rebajas. En la *web* está disponible en 8 tonos.

2 - Bálsamo desmaquillante Heimish: Retira bastante bien el maquillaje y es un buen primer producto para la doble limpieza. Cogemos una pequeña cantidad con la espátula, repartimos por el rostro con las manos, nos mojamos las manos un poco y volvemos a dar un pequeño masaje para que emulsione. Después la retiro con la "bayeta" desmaquillante que me regaló mi hermana. Con lo que no puedo es con el olor así como medicinal que tiene. Ahora mismo estoy usando el que me hizo mi hermana, ya que al no tener conservantes no quiero que se eche a perder. Y cuando se me termine, usaré el de ENature.

3 - Body Spray Lidl: Los trajeron a Lidl hace ya un par de meses, con unos cuatro aromas diferentes. No recuerdo el precio exacto, pero rondó los 2 euros.
De momento no repetiré, ya que aunque los de Body Fantasies que tienen en Alimerka  son más pequeños el olor permanece mucho más y las fragancias parecen más elaboradas.



4 - EdT CK One 200ml: Marian me lo regaló por mi cumpleaños hace ya un par de años. Lo compró en Fapex (ahora Notino). Es una fragancia unisex, que he usado más en verano o para ir a yoga o a zumba. El tarro es de cristal y tiene la peculiaridad de que se puede reutilizar, ya que el dosificador va a rosca.

5- Exfoliante corporal de melocotón, de The Body Shop. Otro exfoliante de TBS que me ha costado acabar. El olor es más soportable que el de la Chocomania, que me resultó nauseabundo por lo artificial. ¡Y eso que no me considero demasiado tiquis con el tema olores!
En fin, que no me ha parecido nada del otro jueves. De momento, me han gustado más los exfoliantes que he probado de Rituals que los de TBS. Menos mal que todos los he comprado siempre en rebajas.

Here we are again to show you what we've used up lately.

1 - Mineral foundation from Sephora. Shade #26 Peach: I really like this mineral foundation in a compact, a lot more convenient than those in a loose powder. I use it both on its own when I only need to look healthy or to set my CC Cream, with a lighter hand. The sponge is really practical, as it is double-sided and can give you a lighter or heavier coverage.
I'd bought another compact a long time ago, but as you see, I tried to really use this up. I've gone way beyond hitting pan on it.
This usually retails for €15.95, but you can get it a bit cheaper during their Sales.
It is available in 8 different shades, apparently.

2 - Heimish Cleansing Balm: It cleanses your face off any makeup quite well and is a good first product for your double cleansing routine. Get a dollop of product with the spatula, massage all over your face, then with wet hands massage once more until it turns whiteish. I remove it using the microfiber face cloth I got from my sister.
What really puts me off about this is the scent. It's a sort of Chinese herbal blend. I'm now using the one my sister shared with you on a recent DIY blog since that contains no preservatives. And when that's done with I'll switch to the ENature one. 

3 - Citrus Body Spray from Lidl: One of Lidl's latest releases a couple of months ago, available in 4 different scents, I believe. I don't recall how much this retailed at, but around €2. I won't repurchase for now. Although the Body Fantasies mists available at a local supermarket are much smaller, the scent lingers a lot more on my skin and it seems much more complex.

4 - CK One, 200 ml EdT: Marian gave it to me for my birthday a couple of years ago. She bought it at Fapex Beautyspin (now  Notino). It's a unisex fragrance that I used more in the summer month and for my yoga and Zumba lessons. The glass bottle is a bit unusual in the sense that it can be reused, as the spritz is screw-on. 



5- Peach body scrub from The Body Shop: Another TBS body polish I had a hard time using up. The scent at least is bearable, unlike the Chocomania one. God, that was nasty! So artificial! And it's not that I'm super picky when it comes to scents.
Anyway, this was nothing to write home about. So far, I prefer the Rituals body scrubs more than the TBS ones. It's just as well I got them all in their sales and not paid full price.

Guardando recuerdos - Keeping memories.

Hace ya algún tiempo os hablamos de cómo guardábamos los recuerdos (las imágenes) de nuestros viajes en fotolibros.

Y os hablamos de los fotolibros de Fotoprix y Albelli.

Pues bien, hemos probado otros que puede que os interese conocer.
Se trata de Lidl-fotos.

Hemos hecho ya un par de ellos, y la verdad es que tienen muy buena calidad; sobre todo si elegís la opción de papel fotográfico.

Además, con Lidl-fotos podéis conseguir reembolso a través de Beruby, y también de Shoppiday.
Eso sí; tenéis que encargar el producto online, y no a través del software.

He de reconocer que al principio me parecía un poco raro ir haciendo el fotolibro online, pero la verdad es que tiene muchas ventajas.
Por ejemplo, puedes retomar la elaboración del fotolibro cuando quieras desde donde quieras. Lo único que tienes que hacer es iniciar sesión, y acceder a "Productos guardados".



Y como hemos hecho nosotras, puedes tener tu fotolibro terminado y guardado en la nube, y esperar para encargarlo cuando haya alguna oferta. Eso sí, Lidl-fotos los guarda en su página durante 60 días si no haces ninguna modificación. Si la haces, los guarda durante otros 60 días.

Además de los fotolibros, Lidl-fotos tiene muchos otros productos: calendarios, foto-murales y regalos con fotos, como tazas, camisetas y cosas así.

¿Qué os parece? Estos de Lidl se lo curran un montón.

A while ago we told you about how we like to save the memories from our travels -i.e. our pictures- for good using photobooks.
And then we told you about the products from Fotoprix and Albelli.

Well, we've been trying a different product you may want to check out: Lidl-fotos.

We've made a couple of photobooks with them already and have been very pleased with the results. The quality is excellent, specially if you go for the photo paper.

Besides, Lidl-fotos partners with cashback sites like Beruby and Shoppiday.
Bear in mind that you'll have to make the book and place your order through their website and NOT downloading their software onto your computer.

I wasn't too keen on the idea of making the book online, though, but it does have lots of advantages. For instance, you can do it at your own pace and retake the book where you left it, anywhere. All you have to do is log into your account and then go to 'saved products'.



Here's what we did: we finished our project and then saved it in the cloud and waited for a good deal to come up. Note that Lidl-fotos will save your product for 60 days if you do not make any changes to it. Make sure you log in and save it regularly so you can keep it for at least another 60 days or when that deal pops up.

They not only offer photobooks, Lidl-fotos carries a host of other products: calendars, wall art and other items like mugs, T-shirts and stuff.

How do you like it? We think Lidl rocks.

Compras varias / Sundry Haul

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.

1- Mascarilla nocturna 'Water Sleeping Mask' de Laneige (marox): Como se me estaba acabando la tornado de Missha y soy un culo inquieto, pues me decidí a probar el superventas de la cosmética coreana.
La compré por Ebay, a *este* vendedor, por 20,99 dólares.
Me está gustando mucho, se absorbe bastante rápido y deja una sensación como de piel descansada. 
El vendedor mandó una mascarilla tissu, que ni que decir tiene, no he usado aún.

2 - Emulsión CosRX: Para mezclar con la de The Face Shop que no me gusta nada. La compré por Ebay. La pedí una primera vez y no llegó y me reembolsaron el dinero, así que la que os enseño la compré al segundo vendedor más barato. Me costó 16,56 dólares y la compré a *este* vendedor.

3 - Sérum nocturno Missha: En realidad se lo regalé a mi madre por el día de la madre, pero como puede que algún día lo pruebe, os lo enseño aquí brevemente.
La he usado un par de veces de momento y la verdad es que va bien. No se nota sensación grasienta en absoluto. Mi madre nota un poco de picor al poco de aplicarla, pero no se le enrojece la piel ni nada. Me costó 25,84 dólares y la compré a *este* vendedor.

4- Manteca corporal de haba tonka y karité de Cien Nature (Lidl).
Este producto forma parte de una promoción, así que no podréis encontrarlo de forma habitual, aunque esperamos que pronto lo esté, tanto éste como otros de la línea. Trae 200ml y costó 1,99€.

5- Aceite de almendras dulces de Tonocrem (Perfumerías Arenal).
Hacía tiempo que había visto que había abierto esta perfumería, pero no suelo ir mucho al centro.
Así que un día que Marox y yo teníamos que ir al centro sí o sí, aprovechamos para entrar en esta perfumería, y no salimos de vacío.
Compré este bote de 500 ml de aceite de almendras dulces para hacer mis inventos potinguiles. Le he dado un poco a mi hermana en una botellita más pequeña que he reutilizado.
Me costó 5,90€.

Bueno, estas han sido nuestras compras hasta el momento.

1- Laneige 'Water Sleeping Mask', (marox): My tornado one from Missha was almost gone and I'm a restless, antsy gal when it comes to skincare, so I ordered a best seller in Korea.
I ordered it off Ebay, from *this* seller and paid $20.99.
So far, I'm really digging this, as it soaks up quite fast and your skin feels refreshed, just like after a good night sleep.
The seller sent a complimentary tissue mask that needless to say I didn't get round to trying yet.

2 - CosRX Birch sap emulsion (marox): I bought this to mix with the one from The Face Shop which was a complete disappointment. That way I'll use that up instead of throwing it away. I bought this off Ebay, though my first order never arrived and was given a refund and the next time I chose the second cheapest seller. I paid $16.56 and got it from *this* seller. 

3 - Missha Night Repair Ampoule (marox): I actually bought this for my mum, but as I'll probably use that myself occasionally, it felt right to show you.
I've used this a couple of times already and it works nice. It doesn't feel greasy at all. My mum notices a tingling sensation shortly after applying it, but it causes no redness whatsoever. I bought it from *this* seller and paid $25.84.

4- Tonka bean and shea body butter from Cien Nature (Lidl).
This item is part of a limited edition, but we hope it will be sold anytime of the year very soon (this one and the rest of this range).
It contains 200 ml and was only €1.99. 

5- Sweet almond oil from Tonocrem (Arenal Parfumeries).
It was quite a while since I noticed this store had opened, but I don't go downtown very often.
So one day Marox and I had to go downtown, we got into this store, and we filled our basket with some goodies.
I bought this bottle of sweet almond oil, containing 500 ml to make some of my homemade cosmetics.
I gave Marox a little of this oil in a small bottle I reused. 
I paid €5.90 for it.

Well, these have been our purchases so far.
