Hola, guapas:
Aquí venimos a enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.


1 -  Perfilador automático P2 Perfect Look Kajal '010 Black' (marox): Me pilló de sorpresa, ya que prácticamente se me ha terminado a la vez que otro marrón de Essence. Conseguimos este producto gracias a una seguidora, que se ofreció a comprarnos unas cosillas aprovechando que estaba viviendo en Alemania.
Es una lástima que esta marca no se venda aquí en España o por Internet, así que probablemente compre uno de Essence para reponerlo.
Es muy, muy pigmentado y cómodo al ser automático.



2 - Pasta de dientes Jasön (marox): A mi hermana y a mí nos ha gustado, aunque de momento no repondremos (no tenemos pedidos previstos a Vitacost). Eso sí, a nuestra madre, no le ha gustado nada. Decía que la notaba como terrosa, cosa que ni mi hermana ni yo hemos percibido.

3 - Mascarilla de nido de pájaro de My Beauty Diary (marox): Como ya habréis notado, últimamente me he aficionado a este tipo de mascarillas y ya hace meses pedí unas cuantas de esta marca taiwanesa. La mascarilla en sí trae un plástico que hay que despegar antes de poderla utilizar.
Como todas ellas, venía muy impregnada y he podido usar el sérum restante durante varios días -conservándolo en la nevera.
Me resultó agradable de usar, aunque la forma de la mascarilla es de las que peor se me ajustaba. Es hidratante y no irrita en absoluto la piel.
Las compré en Ebay.



4 - Máscara 'The Giant XXL' de Catrice (marox): Yo mejor diría 'The Dry One'. Quizá no sea una buena idea aprovechar las liquidaciones para hacerme con ellas. El caso es que cuando la he abierto me he encontrado con ésto. He intentado usarla un par de veces, pero es desesperante. No sé si me ha salido rana o es que este producto es así de malo.


5 - Mascarilla tissú de Hanskin de baba de caracol (marox): Compré varias en su día, así que no me explayo mucho. Está bien, la piel se nota suave e hidratada, no irrita la piel, aunque tampoco he notado mucho más. He usado varias ya.



6 - Bálsamo desmaquillante de moringa de ENature (marox): Lo compré por Ebay y me ha gustado mucho. La única pega es que es caro para la cantidad que trae.

7 - Mascarillas de pelo Lidl y Natura Estonica: La primera al principio me gustó, pero después se me hacía algo pesada. A su favor, el formato tarro me resulta más cómodo. La segunda me ha gustado mucho, a mí y a toda la familia, la pena es que Druni últimamente no ha vuelto a tenerla. Tiene cosas sueltas de algunas lineas, pero no la gama completa.

Here we are again to show you what we've used up lately.

1 - P2 Perfect Look Kajal automatic eye pencil in '010 Black' (marox): This caught me off guard, I didn't think I'd use it up at almost the same time as a brown Essence one.
We got this product thanks to one of our followers, who kindly offer to buy us a few goodies given that she was living in Germany.
It's a pity this brand isn't available here in Spain or online, so I may get one from Essence to replace it.
It's incredibly pigmented and convenient, being an automatic pencil.

2 - Jasön Toothpaste (marox): My sister and I both enjoyed using this, although we won't repurchase for now. We have no Vitacost orders in sight. However, our mum occasionally used it too but didn't like it one bit. She said it was gritty, something neither myself nor Marian ever noticed.

3 - Imperial Bird's Nest Sheet Mask from MyBeauty Diary (marox): No doubt you'll have noticed I've jumped into the sheet mask bandwagon too and ordered a handful of these Taiwanese ones a while ago.
These masks come with a protective film you need to peel off before using.
They are also drenched in essence, so much that I used the leftovers for several days by keeping this refrigerated.
It was really nice to use, although the fit on this one was probably the worst I've tried so far. It didn't irritate my skin either.
Got this on Ebay.


4 -  Catrice 'The Giant XXL' mascara (marox): I'd rather call it 'The Dry One'. It may not be such a great idea after all to get mascaras when they're being discontinued. Anyway, this is what I got when I opened it. I've tried to use it a couple times but it's really useless. I don't know whether I got the crappy one in the bunch or they were all that terrible.



5 - Hanskin Snail sheet mask (marox): I got a pack of this a while ago, so I'll keep my impressions short. It's nice, skin feels moisturized and soft, doesn't irritate it, but that's it. I've used several of these now.


6 - Moringa cleansing balm from ENature (marox): I purchased it from Ebay and truly love it. The only downside is that the jar is rather small for the price. 

 

7 - Lidl and Natura Estonica Hair Masks: I liked the first one at first, but then I noticed it was a bit heavy for my thin hair.  I do like the fact that it comes in a jar, much more practical than other formats. I really liked the second one and so did the whole family. Sadly, Druni didn't stock it the last few times I went shopping there. They do have a small selection of items from some lines, but not their entire range.

UDLS / NOTW: Catrice 'Bohemia LE - Yes, You Tan' & OPI 'Tiramisu for Two'

Hacía una eternidad que no traía una manicura al blog, aunque sea una rápida sin pretensiones como la que os traigo.
Me apetecía estrenar alguno de los esmaltes de OPI que vinieron con la revista Elle de octubre. Los vistéis de pasada en nuestra última entrada de compras acumuladas, *aquí*.

Día 1: Por la noche, aplico una capa de la base 'Anti split nail sealer', que ignoro si se sigue vendiendo. Después, en todas las uñas menos en una de cada mano, apliqué dos capas del esmalte de Catrice, esperando un par de minutos entre capa y capa.
En las uñas restantes, llevo dos capas del esmalte de OPI. Como todos los tonos pastel, hay que tener paciencia al aplicarlo para no arrastrar el color.
Pasado un rato, quise aplicar una capa del 'Start to Finish' de OPI, que vino también en la misma promoción... pero me resultó imposible abrir el botecito. Me conformé con aplicar otra capa del de Essence, que era lo único que tenía a mano.

Creo que me duró tres días. Como curiosidad, las uñas que llevaban el esmalte de OPI estaban intactas, no así las otras.

¿Habéis picado con las últimas revistas? Los regalos que traen han mejorado un montón. Yo estaba ya harta de tanta agenda y demás que traían hace años.

It's been a lifetime since my last mani on the blog, even a quick, unpretentious one like this.
I really wanted to try the OPI minis that were an Elle freebie in October.
They were featured in our most recent Sundry Haul post *here*.

Day 1: At night, I applied a coat of the Essence 'Anti split nail sealer'. I have no idea whether it is still available. Anyway, I then applied two coats of the Catrice polish on all nails except two accent nails, allowing them to dry for a couple minutes between coats.
My other nails sported two coats of the OPI shade. Like all pastels, it is streaky and requires some patience on application.
After a few minutes, I wanted to top it with a coat of OPI's 'Start to Finish' that I got as another magazine freebie with the same issue... but I was unable to get it open. I settled for applying another coat of the same Essence stuff I'd used earlier, which was the only one I had in hand.

I think this lasted on my nails for three days. Funnily enough, the OPI polish was still in mint condition unlike the other nails.

Have you bought any magazines lately? Spanish ones have really stepped up their game, giving stuff other than planners that honestly, have never been my cup of tea and were the only thing they seemed to include years ago.

Compras varias / Sundry haul.

Aquí estoy para enseñaros mis últimas compras.

1- Mascarilla de arcilla azul, de Sephora:
Bueno, a decir verdad, éste fue el regalo con el cupón de mi cumpleaños.
Todavía no la he usado. Aunque pone que da para 4 aplicaciones, creo que tendré para más.



2- Mascarilla de tissú de miel de manuca.
La he comprado en Sephora, y es de cosmética coreana. Nunca he probado este tipo de mascarillas, y la verdad es que me apetece un montón.

3- Mascarilla de calabaza de Too Cool For School.
También la he comprado en Sephora, y también es de cosmética coreana.
Mi piel es grasa, pero está algo falta de hidratación, así que esta mascarilla me vendrá genial.
Este tipo de mascarillas son como una crema. Te la aplicas antes de ir a dormir, y dejas que actúe durante toda la noche, y por la mañana, la aclaras. Todavía no la he estrenado.



Hasta aquí las compras en Sephora.
A continuación os enseño lo que compré en la perfumería Arenal.

4- Base de maquillaje "HD liquid coverage" de Catrice, en el tono 030.
He leído (y oído) muy buenas reseñas de estas bases de Catrice. De esta, y de la Liquid Radiance.
No sé qué tal me apañaré con el cuentagotas.
Me costó 7,99€.

5- Esponja de maquillaje "Blender Baby" de Urban Beauty United.
Ya sabéis que me encantan este tipo de esponjas para aplicar el maquillaje. Lo difuminan muy bien, y dejan un acabado muy natural.
Me costó 4,99€.

Bueno, pues esto ha sido todo por ahora.

Here I am to show you my latest purchases.

1 - Sephora blue clay mask: Well, to be honest this was my birthday gift from Sephora.
I haven't used it yet. It says it is enough to use 4 times, but I think I can stretch it a bit more.

2 - Manuka honey sheet mask: I bought this from Sephora as well, from their K-Beauty collection. I've never tried these masks, but that's something I'm really keen to test.



3 -  Too Cool For School Pumpkin mask: Another Sephora K-Beauty purchase. I have oily skin, but it is also dehydrated, so I guess this will be a welcome addition in my routine.
These masks are leave-in, you slap some on before you go to bed and then wash it off in the morning. I haven't used it yet.

That's it for my Sephora haul. Let me show what I got a local drugstore, Arenal.

4 - Catrice HD foundation 'HD liquid coverage' in the shade 030: I'd read and heard people raving about these Catrice foundations. Both from this line and their Liquid Radiance.
What I don't really know is how well I'll manage with the dropper.
I paid €7.99.



5 - 'Blender Baby' makeup sponge by UBU: You know I love these for makeup application. I like how well they blend it and leave a very natural finish at the same time.
I paid €4.99.

Productos terminados #40 - 'Finito' products #40.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para hablaros de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Exfoliante corporal de chocolate de Giovanni (Marian). Fue un regalo de Marox, que compró en iHerb, aunque también lo podéis encontrar en Vitacost.
Me ha gustado mucho. Exfolia muy bien y huele aún mejor, así que no me importaría repetir con este producto.



2- Manteca corporal de arándano escarchado de The Body Shop (Marian). 
Se aplica muy bien y deja la piel hidratada.
Me encanta su olor afrutado.
Es muy posible que repita con ella, aunque sabéis que me gusta probar varias.

3- Desodorante de Nature's Gate (Marox). Comprado en iHerb, pero también disponible en Vitacost. La verdad es que me ha gustado bastante. Casi os diría que de los desodorantes naturales que he probado hasta el momento es de mis favoritos. Marian tiene uno para ella también, que aún no ha estrenado.
No obstante, como todos, durante ciertos días al mes, se me queda un pelín corto.



4- Cuarteto de correctores de Sephora (Marian).
Como veis no se ha terminado, pero hace muchísimo tiempo que lo tengo y ya huele a rancio, así que lo doy por terminado.
Llegó el momento de tirarlo.
De todos modos, prefiero los correctores fluidos.

5- Desodorante en stick Dermo, de Dia (Marian).
He estado usándolo mucho en verano, y en el resto del año durante ciertos días del mes, en que el desodorante de alumbre se me queda corto.
Me encanta el formato en stick.
No he vuelto a ver este desodorante, así que será difícil repetir con él.
De todos modos, Marox ya se ha encargado de llenarme la "despensa potinguil" con desodorantes de este formato.



6- Corrector líquido de Catrice en el tono "Ivory" (Marian).
Lo compré en Beauty Gloss, aconsejada por su dependienta, que es un encanto de persona.
Lástima que la tienda ya cerró, así que ahora no me quedará más remedio que comprar lo de Catrice por Internet.
De todas formas, ahora que sé el tono que mejor me va, siempre podría comprarlo online.
Ahora estoy usando uno de otra marca que ya os enseñaré.

Pues bien, estos han sido nuestros productos terminados hasta ahora.

Here we are with a quick review of the stuff we've used up lately.

1 -  Giovanni Hot chocolate Body Scrub (Marian). It was a gift from Marox that she ordered off iHerb, though you can also find it on Vitacost.
I like it very much. It provides a great exfoliation and smells even better, so I wouldn't mind repurchasing this product.

2 - Frosted Cranberry Body Butter, The Body Shop (Marian):
It's very easy to apply and it leaves the skin moisturized. I love its fruity scent.
I will very likely buy it again (or ask Marox to do it for me), although you know that I like trying different ones too.



3 - Nature's Gate Deodorant (Marox): Bought off iHerb, this is also available from Vitacost. The truth is I really liked this, to the point that I'd say it's my favourite natural deodorant so far. I bought Marian one too, but she hasn't got round to using hers yet.
Nevertheless, for a couple of days a month, it does fall a bit short as any other does.

4 -Concealer Quad by Sephora (Marian).
As you can see, it's not finished yet, but I've had it for a long, long time, and it has a musty smell, so I consider it as finished.
It's time to throw it away.
Anyway, I prefer liquid concealers for now.



5- Dermo stick deodorant, from Dia supermarkets (Marian).
I've been using it a lot in summer, and some days of the month during the rest of the year, when the alum deodorant falls a bit short.
I love the stick format.
I haven't seen this kind of deodorant anymore, so it'll be hard to get it again.
Anyway, Marox has filled my vanity 'pantry' with more deodorants in stick.

6- Liquid concealer from Catrice in the shade 'Ivory' (Marian).
I bought this at Beauty Gloss, following the assistant's advice, who is a very nice person. It's a pity that the store had to close down, as I'll have to get Catrice stuff online from now on.
Anyway, now that I know which shade matches me best, I could order online.
At the moment I'm using another one from a different brand that I'll be showing you soon.

UDLS / NOTW: Verde irisado con Catrice y Essence - Green sparkles with Catrice and Essence

Aquí os traigo la única manicura que me he hecho últimamente. No es muy original tampoco, puesto que creo que he usado una combinación similar en el pasado.

En las fotos llevo una capa de la base de Essence BTGN, seguida de dos capas finas de este esmalte. Aunque la aplicación es buena, en este caso es mejor evitar dar un capa muy gruesas ya que luego la manicura no nos durará nada. Una vez secó lo suficiente, apliqué el esmalte de efectos de Essence. Como véis, en un par de uñas apliqué a modo de contraste el esmalte topo dorado de Rival de Loop que ya habéis visto en acción muchas veces.
Para proteger la manicura, apliqué una vez estuvo suficientemente seco una capa del esmalte de acabado BTGN de Essence.
Creo recordar que me duró tres días en buen estado, así que en esta ocasión, nada que objetar en cuanto a la duración.

Y como el post ha quedado muy cortito, os dejo con un temazo de Florence & The Machine.

So here's the only mani I've treated myself to lately. It's not even very unique, as I think I used a similar combo in the past.

For this mani, I used the Essence BTGN base sealer, followed by two thin coats of this Catrice nailpolish. Though application is good, in order to increase the mani's wear time it's better to avoid thick coats that will make the polish chip earlier.
Once my base was dry enough I applied an Essence special effects polish. Note that I used Rival de Loop's golden taupe polish as accent in different nails.
I finished off with a coat of the Essence BTGN top sealer. If I remember correctly, this mani lasted three full days in good condition, so nothing to object there this time.

UDLS / NOTW: Francesa holográfica

¡Hola chicas!

Aquí vengo con una manicura que hice allá por Navidad. Procuramos intercalar este tipo de entradas con otras para que el blog sea más variado, pero al no actualizar demasiado a menudo, luego pasa lo que pasa.

La manicura es muy sencilla: apliqué una capa de base (no recuerdo cúal) y luego dos capas del esmalte de Catrice para conseguir un acabado uniforme. En el dedo anular y en las puntas de las otras uñas usé el esmalte holográfico de Marks&Spencer que conseguimos en un intercambio hace tiempo. Lo mejor con este tipo de esmaltes es aplicar capas finitas hasta que consigáis la cobertura suficiente. 
Para que la manicura dure más tiempo, aplico siempre una capa de topcoat. Algunos esmaltes holográficos pierden bastante brillo al secarse pudiendo quedar un poco raros y al ser más delicados que otros, no recomiendo que os saltéis este paso.

Here I am with a mani from the vault, as it was done around Christmas. We tend to have some other posts between manis to have a balanced blog content but when you don't update often, you end up with more belated posts than you wish.

The mani is rather simple: a coat of base -don't recall which one I used- and then two coats of Catrice's 'Squeeze Me', basically until your nails are evenly coated. For my ring fingernail and the tips of the other nails I used the Marks&Spencer holo shade that we got a while ago through a swap.
The best tip for applying these polishes is taking your time and using thin layers, building the polish up until you're satisfied with the coverage.



To protect my mani a bit longer, I always apply topcoat. Note that some holos dry to an almost matt finish that looks a bit meh imo. I wouldn't advise skipping topcoat at all.

UDLS / NOTW: Punticura Catrice ''Mint Me Up' / Catrice 'Mint Me Up' Dotticure

¡Hola chicas!

Día 1: Comienzo la manicura aplicando una capa de base -BTGN Base Sealer de Essence - y después varias capas del esmalte de Catrice. Digo varias porque tuve que retocar varias veces alguna esquina que no había secado y que se me había estropeado. Cuando está lo suficientemente seca, utilizo el "puntero" para decorar con puntos varias uñas en tono dorado, usando el esmalte de Rival de Loop en tono topo dorado que compré hace años en Berlín. Cuando secó un poco, apliqué una capa del esmalte de secado rápido Essence BTGN Top Sealer.
Confieso que los de la mano derecha me costó bastante hacerlos. Supongo que todo es cuestión de práctica.

La manicura tuvo una vida bastante breve, ya que al día siguiente aparecieron los primeros desconchones en la mano derecha. En total la llevé durante dos días.
No sé si haya tenido algo que ver el tener que haber retocado varias uñas que se me rozaron mientras me las pintaba. Probaré teniendo más cuidado y con otras bases y selladores, porque lo que es la combinación de colores me ha gustado mucho.

¿Qué os ha parecido? ¿Le dáis el visto bueno a pesar de todo?

Day 1: I started this mani by applying one coat of my base sealer -Essence's BTGN- and several coats of the Catrice lacquer in #36 Mint Me Up. I said several because I had to touch up a few nails that got damaged during application. Once it was dry enough, I used my dotting tool to decorate some nails using my golden taup Rival de Loop polish that I bought in Berlin some years ago. I waited a bit to apply a final coat of topcoat - Essence's BTGN Top Sealer- .
Confession Time: I had a hard time getting the dots on my right hand looking halfway decent. I guess it's all due to lack of practice.

This was a rather short-lived mani, as by the next day several nails on my right hand had chipped polish. I wore this for a total of two days.
I don't know whether the brief wear time of this mani had anything to do with my having to reapply more nail polish to touch up. I'll try to be more careful the next time, as well as give other base and top coats a try. I said next time because I really liked the way these two colours came out together.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry haul.

¿Qué tal lleváis este tiempo tan frío que tenemos estos días? Por aquí han caído ya unas cuantas nevadas y como en estos días de nieve no apetece mucho salir, a lo mejor preferís leernos un rato.

Pues eso, que aquí venimos de nuevo a enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1- Labial "Hey, Nude" de Catrice (Marox).
En realidad, esta compra ha sido una reposición, pero no porque el anterior se haya terminado.
Veréis: Marox le prestó su labial a nuestra madre para que lo usara en una de las poquísimas ocasiones en que se maquilla.
¿Qué ha pasado? Que el labial en cuestión está desaparecido en combate. No aparece por ninguna parte, así que en una visita a Beauty Gloss, decidí hacerme con otro.
Su precio fue 4,59€.

Y ahora os cuento cómo surgieron el resto de compras.
Era un día lluvioso, pero nos apetecía salir.
¿Qué podíamos hacer? Pues como dice Marox, turismo de centro comercial.
Así que nos plantamos en Hipercor, que tiene una tienda Sephora.
Como estamos en rebajas, en Sephora hay precios locos, así que era la mejor ocasión para hacernos con algunas cosillas.

2- Esmalte "Sugar House Lane" de Nails Inc. (Marian).
Como podéis ver en el bote, es un esmalte de efectos. Me encantan este tipo de esmaltes, así que por 4€ que costaban todos los que tenían de la marca, no podía dejarlo en el estante, así que se vino conmigo.
Todavía no lo he estrenado, pero cuando lo haga, tendré en cuenta usar la base peel-off de Essence debajo, para poderlo retirar mejor cuando llegue el momento.

3- Jumbo de labios de efecto vinilo en el tono "Vinyl Raspberry" de Sephora (Marian).
Tenían un montón de estos jumbos rebajados, pero buscaba un tono un poco especial y que no se pareciera a lo que ya tengo, así que elegí éste.
El tono es mucho más intenso que en la fotografía. Ya sabéis que a veces resulta muy difícil captar los colores tal y como son.
El precio también fue de 4€.



4- Sérum antimanchas de Sephora (Marian).
Aunque aún no he terminado el que estoy usando, de esta misma marca, aproveché los precios locos para hacerme con éste de repuesto por el módico precio de... ¡Bingo! 4€.
Sé que es muy difícil eliminar las manchas del rostro, pero desde que lo uso, parece que mi supermancha está más atenuada.

5- Eau de toilette "Rogue by Rihanna".
Esta la hemos comprado las dos. No conocíamos esta colonia, pero probamos el tester y nos gustó su olor empolvado.
Nos costó 15€ el frasco de 75ml.



Junto con nuestras compras, nos regalaron varias muestras de perfume: 2 de "Miss Dior" (Blooming Bouquet), y otras 2 de "J'Adore", que ya sabéis que nos encanta.

Bueno, pues esto ha sido todo por el momento.

How are you coping with the cold weather we're having lately? We've had several snowfalls over here and we were hoping you'd feel like snuggling up in front of the screen rather than face the snow and freezing weather outside.

Anyway, here we are again ready to share with you some stuff we bought recently.

1- 'Hey, Nude' lipstick from Catrice (Marox).
This is actually a repurchase, but not because she has used up the other one already.
It turns out Marox lent her lipstick to our mother, because she wanted to use it in one of the very few times she puts some make up on.
What happened then? That lipstick is now gone missing. She can't find it, so I bought a new one on a recent visit to Beauty Gloss.
I paid €4.59 for it.

Let me now tell you how the other stuff we bought came about.
It was a rainy day, but we wanted to go out.
What could we do? As Marox says, 'Mall tourism'. So we went to a Mall that has a Sephora store.
As it's sales time, there were 'Crazy Prices' at Sephora, so it was the right time for us to get some goodies.

2- 'Sugar House Lane' nail polish from Nails Inc (Marian).
As you can see, it's a polish with special effects. I love those. All the polishes from this brand were discounted at €4, so I couldn't leave it on the display and therefore this came home with me.
I haven't tried it yet, but when I do, I'll try to remember to use the Essence peel-off base underneath, in order to be able to remove it easily.



3- Vinyl effect lip jumbo pencil in 'Vinyl Raspberry', from Sephora (Marian).
They had tons of these at a reduced price, but I was looking for a special shade, different from what I already have, so I chose this one.
The shade is much more intense in real life than in the pic. You know that sometimes it's quite hard to capture the real colours on camera.
Price was also €4.

4- Dark spot minimizing serum from Sephora (Marian).
Though I haven't used up the one I already own (I'm still using it), I took advantage of the crazy prices to get another one as backup for the reasonable price of... Jackpot! €4.
I know that it's very hard to get rid of dark spots for good, but it seems that my mega dark spot has lessened since I started using it.



5- 'Rogue by Rihanna' Eau de toilette.
We both bought one. We'd never heard about this fragrance, but we tried the tester at the store and we loved its powdery scent.
We paid €15 for a 75 ml bottle.

Together with our purchases, we got some perfume samples: two of 'Miss Dior' (Blooming Bouquet), and another two of 'J'Adore', which we both love, as you already know.

UDLS / NOTW: Francesa navideña con Catrice y China Glaze / Xmas French with Catrice and CG

Hola, chicas:

¿Qué tal se han portado los Reyes? Si recordáis, nosotras nos dimos los regalos antes de nochebuena, así que durante este tiempo hemos tenido ocasión de estrenar ya alguna cosilla.
Os enseño el primer esmalte que he estrenado de los que me regaló Marian en Navidad.



En las fotos, llevo una capa del Nail Envy de OPI. Cuando se secó, apliqué de una a dos capas del esmalte de Catrice 'Yes, You Tan' de la colección Bohemia. Una vez que estuvo lo suficientemente seco, apliqué un poco del esmalte dorado 'Midnight Kiss' de China Glaze en las puntas.



Ya sabéis que me gustan las manicuras rápidas y resultonas. Tengo varias similares para enseñaros próximamente.

Creo recordar que me duró 3 días.
Las fotos las ha hecho Marian, utilizando su nuevo flash (sí, ese que le he regalado por Navidad). Dice que es una pasada eso de poder rebotar el flash al techo. Así, las sombras no quedan tan marcadas.

Hi girls!

Were the Three Wise Men good to you? Did you get many presents? If you remember, we gave each other our presents a few days before Christmas Eve, so we've had enough time to test some of the stuff we got.
Today I'd like to show you the first polish I've tried from those Marian gave me this Christmas.



In the pics I'm wearing a coat of OPI's Nail Envy. Once dry, I applied one to two coats of Catrice's 'Yes, You Tan' from the Bohemia LE. Once it was dry enough I applied a bit of China Glaze's 'Midnight Kiss' on the tips for a festive French look.
You know I can't resist an elite and quick mani. I have several of these that I'll be posting in the near future.



If my memory serves me right, I think I wore this for three days.
For the photoshoot Marian used her brand new flashlight that she got from me this Christmas. According to her, being able to do bounce flash is the best of all. This way, shadows are less noticeable.

Mis regalos y autoregalos de Navidad / Xmas gifts for me and from me.

Hoy me gustaría enseñaros los regalos que me han hecho tanto Marian como mis padres.
Como veréis por el título, yo también me he hecho unos cuantos autorregalos, porque no sé vosotras... pero yo me quiero un huevo.

Voy a empezar por las cosas que me he comprado yo.

1- Contorno de ojos de baba de caracol de Scinic: Se me está acabando el que tengo de esta misma marca y había pensado comprarme el GoBack de Etude House, pero cuando lo fui a pedir apenas quedaban y el precio era bastante caro. No sé si sea de edición limitada o qué. Decidí no complicarme y probar éste de Scinic, que como ya habréis adivinado si nos seguís, es una marca que nos da buen resultado.
 En el mismo pedido encargué un fluído multiacción para nuestro padre de esta marca, ya que no sabíamos qué regalarle.
Hice el pedido a este *vendedor*, que mandó muestras de una CC Cream y de una mascarilla para hombre.

2 -  Mascarilla peel-off de colágeno de Anskin: Esta mascarilla en tamaño profesional no contiene alcohol y se presenta en formato polvo, que debemos mezclar con una proporción menor de agua.
La he usado sólo dos veces y me gustó mucho cómo me dejó la cara, si bien tengo que medir las proporciones como dios manda y no 'a ojo' para que así resulte más fácil retirarla. No hay que dejarla secar más que unos minutos, o de lo contrario cuesta retirarla. Como el bote es enorme, le daré a Marian para que la pruebe.
La pedí por Ebay a *este* vendedor, que no mandó ni una mísera muestra.

3 -  Espátulas mezcladoras para mascarillas: Para usar con la mascarilla anterior. Pedí tres para que mi madre y Marian también puedan usarla con esta mascarilla u otras. Justo han llegado esta mañana, a tiempo de una foto rápida para ilustrar el post.
Las compré por Ebay a este *vendedor*.

4 - Pedido a *iHerb*, que os mostraré en una entrada independiente- entre otras cosas, porque me acaba de llegar ayer después de un mes. Os adelanto una foto de familia.
Ya sabéis que tenéis un descuentillo en vuestro primer pedio utilizando el código de otro cliente. Usad alguno, el mío (NBB297) o el de quien sea, ¡pero usad uno, que "la pela es la pela"!.

Y ahora paso a los regalos propiamente dichos, con alguna sorpresa que para nada esperaba. En el caso de Marian, no sé qué sería de ella si no tuviera acceso a mis listas de deseos y de seguimiento. Lo de mi hermana es como las "indirectas" de los *anuncios* de la presente campaña navideña de El Corte Inglés.


5 - Visera noche y día para coche: Como la que anuncian en la teletienda.... pero muuucho más barata si la compráis por Ebay como hizo Marian. Cuesta un poco ajustarla al parasol, pero de momento va bien. Sólo he probado el filtro para el sol, pero sé que el amarillo funcionará bien para la noche / poca luz ya que tanto Marian y yo tenemos gafas sin graduar con este filtro y se ve mucho mejor.

6 - Cascos para el ordenador de NGS: No sé qué hago, que destrozo los cascos aunque sean de los buenos. Los que me regaló Marian anteriormente (de conexión USB de Logitech) los tengo hechos una pena. Los de Marian, igualitos a los míos están casi como nuevos. La calidad del sonido no es tan buena como en los que tenía, pero están bien para un uso cotidiano.
Los compró en Carrefour, aunque luego los ha visto mucho más baratos por Internet.

7 - Esmaltes y colorete de Catrice y paleta de sombras 'Welcome to the Pleasuredome' de MakeUpRevolution: Marian tiró de wishlist y me cogió estas cosillas en *Primor* aprovechando la oferta del Black Friday. Al igual que otra gente, tuvo problemas con el envío, que tardó ¡unas dos semanas!. Una pasada para un pedido nacional.
De momento no he probado apenas nada, pero en las navidades fijo que estreno algo. El colorete lo he usado un día y queda muy bonito. Es precioso y muy ponible y la paleta parece muy versátil al no llevar sólo tonos neutros.

8 - Peeling enzimático 'Oxygen Micro Essence Peeling' de Missha: Marian fisgó mi watchlist de Ebay y decidió comprarme este producto. Sólo lo he usado una vez, por lo que aún no estoy lista para dar una opinión formada del producto. Aplicamos dando un pequeño masaje, dejamos actuar unos minutos y retiramos dando otro masaje que eliminará el producto y las pieles muertas. Aunque tiene alcohol en su composición, no me resultó agresivo. El vendedor incluyó una muestra de una crema de manos y de una hidratante de aguacate de Tony Moly.



Los dos regalos siguientes están relacionados y han supuesto toda una sorpresa.

9 - Ipad Mini 2 y funda: Pues sí, mis padres (especialmente mi madre) se emocionaron yendo de compras y me compraron algo que no habría imaginado ni en un millón de años. Reconozco que me llamaban la atención las tabletas pero no soy de gastarme un pastizal en un artículo tecnológico habiendo alternativas más baratas (Android frente a IPhone, por ejemplo) o sin saber si realmente le voy a dar tanto uso como para amortizar el gasto. Este dispositivo tiene una pantalla de 7'9'', que me parece perfecto para poderlo llevar de un sitio a otro. Dispone de 16 GB de memoria y conexión a Internet vía Wifi.
La funda fue regalo de Marian, que se decidió por ésta ya que tiene cierre imantado.
Todo esto se compró en Carrefour.

Apenas he tenido tiempo de configurarlo y trastear unas cuantas veces con él. Tengo de camino un protector de pantalla de cristal templado de Ebay, que confío quepa con la funda puesta.

10 - Pulsera y pendientes: Los trajeron de un viaje reciente. Aún no los he estrenado, pero curiosamente sí que me he comprado unos pendientes muy parecidos a la pulsera.

Today I'd like to show you the presents I got this Christmas from Marian and our parents. As you can tell from the post's title, I'm also including a few things I treated myself to. I don't know about you, but I really love myself!

I'll start off with what I bought myself.

1- Scinic Snail Eye Cream: I'm running out of the one I'm using from the same brand and I'd planned on getting Etude House's GoBack, but it was practically sold out everywhere or pricier than before. No idea if it was a limited edition or something. I took the easy way out then and ordered this instead. You know we like this brand a lot, as it works great for us.
I also ordered a multitasking fluid for men in my order, as we didn't really know what to get our dad. 
This is the *seller* I got it from, who sent me a CC Cream sample in a tube and a sheet mask for men.  

 2 -  Anskin Collagen Peel-off Mask: This salon-quality (& sized) mask is alcohol-free and comes in a powder that you must mix with water -with more powder than water.
I've only used this twice but I really liked how my skin felt afterwards, though I confess I need to measure the ingredients properly rather than doing it by eye to peel it off more easily. You shouldn't leave this on for more than a few minutes, as it dries too much, making it more difficult to peel off.
Since the jar is so big I'll give some Marian so she can try it herself.
I bought it off Ebay from this *seller*.



3 - Mixing Spatulas for face masks: I ordered this to be used with the above mentioned product. I ordered three so my mum and Marian could use it with said mask or with other products. They arrived this very morning, just in time to publish this post today with a quick snap.

 4 - *iHerb* order: I'll show you this properly in an specific post, as I received it yesterday - a month after ordering. I'm including a picture as an appetizer, though. LOL.
As you're well aware, you will have a discount on your first order by using another customer's code. Feel free to use mine (NBB297) or someone else's, but please be smart and use one, for goodness sake!!

And now, onto the presents I got from my family, including a surprise I wasn't expecting at all. As for Marian, I don't know what she'd do if she couldn't steal a glance at my wishlists and watchlists. She's like the people at this year's ECI department stores' commercials (see *video in Spanish*, where people ask their loved ones for hints to help them buy their presents. I.e.: (The first people in the video: Incidentally, are you allergic to gold or silver?, LOL)

5 - Day & Night Car Visor: Just like the one for sale on the homeshopping channel... but much cheaper as Marian ordered these off Ebay.  Attaching it to the car's sunvisor took a while, but so far so good. I've only tried the Day filtre, but I know the Night one will work great as both Marian and myself have a pair of unprescripted glasses with a yellow filtre and you see a lot more with them.

6 - NGS headphones for laptop: I don't know why but most of my headphones end up totally trashed, no matter how expensive they are. The ones I'd got from Marian before (a USB set from Logitech) are a mess. And it's just me, because hers look brand new. The sound quality is not nearly as good as with my current ones, but they're good for the average user. 
Purchased at the Mall, but they can be found much cheaper online.

7 - Catrice nail polishes and blusher and MakeUpRevolution Eyeshadow Palette in 'Welcome to the Pleasuredome':  Marian had a look at my wishlist and ordered this on Black Friday. Like many other people, she had some issues with the store, Primor regarding shipping, which took much longer than usual, about two weeks! Way too long for a domestic purchase. She's only tried on the blusher, which looks really pretty and suitable for everyday wear and the palette seems really versatile as it does not only contain neutrals.







8 -  'Oxygen Micro Essence Peeling' from Missha: Marian again sneaked into my Ebay watchlist and ordered this. I've only used this once, not long enough to form a proper opinion. You have to massage the product gently into the skin, wait a few minutes and then massage again to remove the product and the impurities off your skin. Although it contains alcohol, I didn't find it harsh.
The seller included two samples, one of a hand cream and an avocado moisturiser from Tony Moly.

And these two presents are obviously related and were a totally unexpected surpise.

9 - Ipad Mini 2 and cover case: Yes, my parents (esp. dear old mum) got a bit carried away going shopping and bought me something I'd never have guessed, not in a million years.
I recognize tablets got my eye but I'm not one to spend a fortune on a gadget when there are cheaper alternatives out there (i.e. Android vs. IPhone) or when I'm not even sure I'll use it enough to get my money's worth. The device has a 7'9'' inch screen, an ideal size to carry it with you anywhere. It has 16 GB of in-built memory and comes with WiFi connectivity.



Marian bought me the case and she liked this particular model as it came with a magnetic fastener.

I've barely had time to do the set-up and use it a handful of times. I've ordered a tempered glass screen protector off Ebay that is currently on its way and that hopefully will fit the case.

10 - Bangle and earrings: They bought this while on holiday recently. I haven't worn them yet, though I did get a pair of earrings that are very similar to the bangle.



We got some money from our uncle too, which always makes a great present, doesn't it?.
