Hoy venimos con una nueva entrega de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

Today I have a new post featuring the products we've used up lately.

1. Missha Perfect Cover #21: Os hablé de ella hace ya bastantes meses, *aquí*. Aunque me ha encantado por su gran cobertura y acabado, hay tantísimas BB Creams en el mercado que me apetece probar otras. Gracias a María probé varias de Skin79, aunque después probé una de otra marca que me ha gustado mucho, ya que ofrecía también una cobertura excelente, aunque finalmente he comprado otra. La MPC la he aprovechado al máximo cortando el tubo y pasado el producto restante a dos tarritos de muestra de 12 ml, de los cuales uno estaba lleno hasta los topes y que estoy utilizando todavía, así que para ser del todo sincera, no la he terminado del todo. La compré a Bellogirl.

1. Missha Perfect Cover #21: I talked about it many months ago *here*. Although I totally love this one because of the excellent coverage and finish, there are so many BB Creams out there that I really feel like trying others on the market. Thanks to María I had the chance of trying a couple from Skin79, though I've tried another one since then from another brand I liked even more though it wasn't the one I bought in the end. I finished it off by cutting the tube and moving the remaining product to two 12ml sample jars and the first of them was full to the brim. I'm still using that, so to be entirely honest, this product is not completely 'finito' yet. I purchased my MPC from Bellogirl.

2. Discos desmaquillantes Carrefour Discount: Ya van varias veces que compramos estos discos para desmaquillar los ojos o quitar el esmalte de uñas. Son nuestros favoritos junto con los de la marca Iseree de Lidl y según nos cuadre hacer la compra en un sitio o en otro, usamos éstos o los del Lidl. Nos gustan porque vienen pespunteados y así es más difícil que se deshilachen. *Ojo*: parece ser que los han cambiado y ya no son 100% algodón ni tan resistentes, o eso dicen.

2. Makeup Remover Cotton Pads from Carrefour Discount: We've repurchased these a few times already, and use this both to remove our eye makeup and nail polish. We really like these as well as the Iseree ones from Lidl's own brand and get one or the other depending on where we happen to do our shopping. What we like the most about them is the stitching that makes them a lot sturdier than your average pads. *Beware*: Carrefour has changed these and they are no longer 100% cotton or that sturdy, or so they say.

3. Colonia Té Verde de Caravan: La compramos en Carrefour y es la primera que probamos de la marca y aunque nos ha gustado, vamos a seguir probando otras de otras marcas.

3. Caravan Green Tea Eau de Toilette: We bought it at Carrefour. It's the first one we've tried from this brand and even though we liked it, we'll try other brands.

4. Crema facial kit Strivectin: Ha sido el primer producto del kit StriVectin que le tocó a marox en el sorteo de Delicate Hummingbird que hemos terminado. Evidentemente, tras un par de semanas utilizándola no podemos esperar milagros, pero tampoco nos ha impresionado especialmente. Deja la piel hidratada, al igual que otras cremas de menor precio. La hemos utilizado como crema de noche. Tiene un ligero efecto mentolado en la piel, que no molesta ni perdura en exceso en la piel.

4. StriVectin face cream, included in a trial kit: It's been the first product in the StriVectin set that marox won at the Delicate Hummingbird giveaway we've used up. After only a couple of weeks of use, you cannot obviously expect any miracles in your complexion, but we're not very impressed by it all the same. It does moisturize your skin, like many other cheaper creams will do. We've been using it as a night cream. It does have a slight mint effect that you can feel on your skin, but it's not overpowering or feels uncomfortable.

5- Agua perfumada Flor de Cerezo de Les Cosmétiques (Carrefour): Es el segundo frasco que gastamos, aunque probaremos otro diferente de esta linea por cambiar. Nos gusta usarla especialmente después de la ducha, para irnos a la cama, etc. El olor dura más en el cuerpo y en la ropa que con las de Mercadona y el pulverizador funciona mejor también.




5- Cherry Blossom body spray from Les Cosmétiques (Carrefour): This is our second bottle, though we'll try a different one from the same range for a change. We like to use this right after the shower, before going to bed and so on. The scent lasts longer in your skin and clothes than with the ones from Mercadona and the spritz pump works better as well.

6- Toallitas limpiadoras de bebé Carrefour: Aunque solemos comprar las de Mercadona, las últimas que habíamos tenido venían un poco más secas que de costumbre y decidimos probar estas, que tienen el cierre rígido como nos gusta. Las usamos principalmente para eliminar la mayor parte del maquillaje del rostro, como primer paso en nuestra rutina desmaquillante. Ahora estamos usando las últimas que compramos en Mercadona.




6- Baby wipes from Carrefour: Though we usually buy the ones from Mercadona, the last ones we'd used were a little drier than usual so we bought these instead, because they have a firm closure to keep them damp. We use these to get rid of the bulk of our makeup, as a first step in our makeup removal routine. We're currently using the baby wipes we bought on our last visit to Mercadona.

Look de fiesta - Party look.

Hola, chicas:
En realidad este ha sido un look navideño. Así fue como me maquillé para la comida de Navidad del trabajo.
Pero como ya han pasado las navidades, lo dejaremos como look de fiesta, pues obviamente vale para cualquier ocasión.

Sin más dilación, voy a detallaros lo que he utilizado.

Para el rostro, he utilizado mi BB cream Luminous Silk, de Holika Holika, en el tono "Light Beige", mezclada con un poco de maquillaje; en este caso el Mineralize Satinfinish de MAC, en el tono NW25, que por sí solo, me queda muy oscuro. Así consigo mi tono de piel.

Para sellar el maquillaje, he utilizado los polvos sueltos "Noche y Día", que me regaló Marox hace un montón de tiempo (antes de empezar a escribir este blog) y que compró en una tienda local de productos de peluquería.
Como colorete, he utilizado el de Alverde, en el tono "Flamingo".
Como iluminador, el dúo de iluminador/bronceador de Benefit "Be a perfect 10".

Para los ojos, he utilizado la paleta de Essence "Nothing else metals", de la edición limitada "Metallics". Para delinear el párpado superior, el delineador líquido de P2 en negro. Para las pestañas, la máscara de Essence "Multi action smokey eyes", que me encanta.

Para los labios, he utilizado el labial líquido de L'Oréal HIP, en el tono "Turbulent".

Y esto ha sido todo.

Hi ladies,
To be honest, this was actually a Christmas look. It was the make-up I wore for the Christmas lunch with my workmates.
But as Christmas days are gone, let's say this is a party look, because you can obviously wear this look any time.

Without further ado, I'll tell you what I used to create it.

For the face, I used my BB cream from Holika Holika 'Luminous Silk', in the shade 'Light beige', mixed with a tiny amount of my Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation from MAC, in the shade NW25, which is too dark for my skintone on its own. This way (mixing the two of them) is how I get my skintone.

To seal my make-up, I used the 'Noche y Día' loose powder , which Marox gave me a long time ago (before starting with this blog), purchased at a local beauty supply store.
On my cheeks, I used my Alverde blush in the shade 'Flamingo'.
And for highlight, the highlighting/bronzing duo from Benefit in 'Be a perfect 10'.

As for the eyes, I used the Essence eyeshadow quad 'Nothing else metals' from the 'Metallics' LE. To line the upper lid, I used the liquid eyeliner from P2 in black. And for the lashes, my mascara from Essence 'Multi action smokey eyes', which I love.

And finally, on my lips I used the liquid lipstick from L'Oréal HIP, in the shade 'Turbulent'.

Primeras impresiones 'I love BB Light' de Peripera / First Impressions: 'I love BB Light' from Peripera

Hace ya varias semanas os hablamos de nuestro *segundo pedido* a la tienda de Ebay de Bello-girl, la más conocida de las vendedoras de BB Creams de Korea. Os presentamos el primer producto que probamos y con el que estamos encantadas, la mascarilla peel-off para puntos negros de Holika Holika *aquí* y nos faltaba hablaros de la nueva BB Cream que pidió marox para ella y que hemos probado las dos lo suficiente como para contaros qué nos parece.




A few weeks ago we told you about our *second order* to Bello-girl's Ebay store, probably the most popular seller of Korean BB Creams. We already raved about the first product we tried, the blackhead peel-off mask from Holika Holika *here* and still had to give you our 2 cents on Marox's new BB Cream. We have both used it long enough to tell us our thoughts.

Características principales de la 'I love BB (Light)' de Peripera:

- FPS 50, siendo una de las BB Creams con mayor factor de protección.
- Disponible en dos tonos: I Love BB Light (también conocido como 'Light Beige') y la 'I Love BB' (o 'Natural Beige'). Yo tengo la más clarita, como véis.
- Efecto iluminador, gracias a los extractos de salvado de arroz, regaliz y vitamina C.
- Efecto hidratante con extracto de aloe vera, vitamina E, etc.
- Control de brillos -aunque para pieles grasas, quizá mejor escoger una con menor FPS, especialmente pensada para ese tipo de piel.
- Contiene 50 ml, en un tubo con tapón de rosca con un pequeño orificio, para evitar en lo posible la contaminación del producto.

'I Love BB (Light) from Peripera' - Product highlights:

-SPF 50, making it one of the BB Creams with the highest sunscreen out there.
-Available in two shades: I Love BB Light (aka 'Light Beige') and 'I Love BB' (aka 'Natural Beige). Mine is the lightest of the two, as you see.
- Brightening effect, thanks to ingredients such as rice bran, liquorice and Vitamin C extracts.
- Moisturizing effect, thanks to aloe vera, Vitamin E et al.
- Sebum control -though people with oily skin might prefer other BB Creams with a lower sunscreen, as there are others best suited for oily-skinned people.
- It contains 50 ml and comes in a tube with a twist-off cap. Designed to release a small amount of product, to keep contamination to a minimum.

Marox opina:

- Compré esta BB Cream porque, aunque me encantó la Missha Perfect Cover #21, me apetecía probar otra diferente. Hay miles de ellas y esta cumplía con lo que yo quería: que cubra lo suficiente como para no tener que usar maquillaje, buen factor de protección solar, etc.
- Mi piel es mixta, sin apenas imperfecciones que tapar, pero sí puntos negros y poros abiertos, especialmente en la nariz. En la nariz tengo brotes ocasionales de dermatitis atópica. No he tenido problema alguno con esta -ni con otras- BB Cream.
- Aunque en teoría las marcas de BB Creams dicen que no es necesario, yo sí que aplico una hidratante debajo. En mi caso, la crema-gel de pepino de la línea MySkin de Essence.
- He probado a aplicarla con los dedos, con lo que consigo un resultado más cubriente, quizá demasiado. Decidí también aplicarla con la esponja de UBU y me gusta mucho más cómo queda, como más natural. Eso sí, con la esponja necesito usar más producto. No he probado con brocha, soy demasiado vaga.
- Control de brillos: Dependiendo de las horas que la lleve puesta, del calor que haga, etc. llega un momento en que es inevitable que me salgan brillos en la zona T. Si quiero que tarden más en aparecer, aplico polvos translúcidos para sellarla. Tan sólo he usado prebase facial una vez.
- Tono: Muy similar al de la MPC21, en mi opinión. Se ajusta muy bien a mi piel y no me noto "fantasmal" al ponérmela. Eso sí, si os hacéis fotos mientras la lleváis puesta, no os sorprendáis si os véis muuy blancas, ya que se debe al FPS.




Marox says:

- I bought this BB Cream because, as much as I loved Missha Perfect Cover #21, I really felt like trying a different one. There are tons of them out there and this seemed to meet my demands: providing enough coverage to skip makeup entirely, good SPF and so on.
- I have combination skin, with almost no imperfections to cover but I do have black heads and large pores, mainly on my nose. I also suffer from occassional atopic dermatitis breakouts there. I have had no problems whatsoever with this -or others, for that matter- BB Cream.
- Despite the fact that BB Creams brands claim there is no need to use moisturizer underneath, I do apply one. In my case, I'm currently using the Essence MySkin cucumber cream-gel.
- I have applied this using my fingers first, and the result was a heavier coverage, perhaps a bit too much. I've also used my UBU Blender Baby sponge and I'm a lot more satisfied with the result, as it looks more natural. That being said, the sponge method requires using more product. I haven't tried any brushes for application, I'm far too lazy.
- Sebum control: Depending on how long I'm wearing this, how hot the weather is outside and so on, there comes a time when oil makes an appearance in my T-Zone. In order to keep it at bay a bit longer, I apply some translucent powder on top. I have only used a face primer underneath once.
- Shade: Really close to MPC21 imo. It matches my skintone very well and I didn't really notice a 'ghostly cast' when applying it. Do bear in mind, you will definitely look white if you have photos taken while wearing it, due to the high SPF.

Marian opina:

-Le he pedido a marox esta BB cream prestada en un par de ocasiones, y la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho. La cobertura me parece ideal: tengo manchitas e imperfecciones en la piel, aparte de los poros del tamaño de Burgos, jaja..., y la verdad es que unifica bastante bien el tono.
-Ahora viene la madre del cordero: el control de los brillos. Como he comentado en anteriores ocasiones, mi piel es grasa, así que controlar los brillos no me resulta nada fácil, utilice el producto que utilice. Tampoco he estado muy pendiente de comprobar cuándo empiezan a aparecer los brillos (me maquillo y me voy a trabajar), pero yo diría que unas 3-4 horas, usando mi crema matificante de Essence debajo y polvos translúcidos encima.
También hay que tener en cuenta que las cremas con factor de protección solar muy alto suelen ser un poco grasientas, pero siguiendo los consejos de mi dermatólogo tengo que tener mucho cuidado con el sol (tengo muchos lunares, de los cuales me han quitado tres), así que en este caso el tema "brillos" sería el menor de mis problemas.
Como conclusión, no descarto comprarme quizá esta BB cream en el futuro.

Marian thinks:

-I've borrowed this BB cream from marox a couple of times, and I really like it much. Its coverage is great: I have small spots and imperfections on the skin, apart from pores as big as Burgos, hehe..., and the truth is that it evens out the skin tone quite well.

-Now onto the toughest bit: sebum control. As I told you on previous posts, I have oily skin, so shine control is not easy for me, no matter what product I use. I've not been keeping an eye on when my skin turns shiny (I put my make-up on and go to work), but I'd say that maybe 3-4 hours, using my mattifying cream from Essence before BB cream/make-up, and translucent powder on top to seal.

Don't forget that creams with very high SPF are usually quite oily, but on my dermatologist's orders I must be very careful with my sun exposure (I have a lot of moles, and three of them had to be surgically removed), so the "shine" issue is the smallest of my problems.

To sum up, I don't rule out buying this BB cream for myself in the future, who knows.

Resumiendo:

Si buscáis una BB Cream similar a la MPC por cobertura, protección solar y demás, ésta puede ser una buena opción. No es excesivamente cara -algo más que la Missha-, ya que cuesta 18,99 dólares en la tienda de Bellogirl (al cambio, aprox. 14,55 €) y trae 50 ml que os durarán una buena temporada.

In short:

If you're looking for a BB Cream similar to MPC in terms of coverage, sunscreen protection and so on, this can be a good choice. It's not very expensive -it is more expensive than Missha, though- as it's 18.99 USD on Bellogirl's Ebay store (aprox. €14.55) and contains 50ml that will last you a good while.

¿Qué opináis del boom de las BB Creams y de la cosmética asiática? Para nosotras, han sido un gran descubrimiento y seguro que con el tiempo, nos iremos animando a probar más productos. De hecho, en nuestra watchlist de Ebay ya tenemos unas cuantas ideas. ¿Alguna sugerencia?

Segundo pedido a Bellogirl / Second order to Bellogirl

En nuestra *segunda* entrega de productos terminados, incluímos mi Missha Perfect Cover #21 y aunque todavía me queda un poco de producto en dos tarritos de muestra, me decidí a pedir otra BB Cream. Aunque me ha ENCANTADO la MPC, lo cierto es que hay tantísimas BB Creams que me apetecía probar otra diferente.

In the *second* installment of our Finito Products, we included my Missha Perfect Cover #21 and although I still have some of that left in a couple of sample jars, I decided to order another BB Cream. As much as I LOVED my MPC, the truth is there are soo many BB Creams out there that I wanted to branch out and choose something else this time.

Con el anterior pedido, la vendedora de Ebay bellogirl incluyó varias muestras y la de Lioele Triple The Solution me encantó... pero, Bellogirl ya no la vende porque según me comentó, la calidad no se correspondía con el precio. Me recomendó la *Lollynne Brightening BB Cream*, con SPF35, pero apenas había opiniones sobre ella en Internet y me parecía un poco cara para arriesgarme.
No obstante, la he puesto en la watchlist por si en un futuro decido hacer caso a su recomendación: por lo visto, es más natural que la gran mayoría de cremas de este tipo, ya que no lleva parabenos, aceites minerales, alcohol ni ingredientes modificados genéticamente.

The seller Bellogirl included at the time several samples and I totally loved Lioele Triple The Solution... BUT, Bellogirl does not sell that anymore as apparently quality is not on a par with the price, or so she said. She suggested *Lollynne Brightening BB Cream with SPF35* instead, but there were hardly any reviews for that and I felt it was a tad too expensive to risk and end up with a bad choice.
However, I did add that to my watchlist in case I decide to follow her advice in the future: apparently the formulation is a lot more natural than on the average BB Cream, as it contains no parabenes, no mineral oils, alcohol or GMO ingredients.





El pedido lo realicé el día 13 de marzo y me llegó el 26. Junto con la BB Cream I Love BB Light Cream de Peripera, me pedí una mascarilla peel-off para tratar los puntos negros de la marca Holika Holika *opinión aquí*. Al igual que en mi primer pedido, la vendedora incluyó muestras de varios productos, entre ellos dos BB Creams que estamos deseando probar, aunque antes nos informaremos un poco sobre todos ellos. Aún no he estrenado la BB Cream, pero en cuanto la haya probado en condiciones haré un post sobre ella. La mascarilla sí que la hemos probado y pronto os hablaremos de ella.
Bellogirl envía el pedido mediante correo certificado (tendréis que firmar), marcado como regalo y por un valor inferior al real, en este caso marcó 10 dólares, en lugar de 31,98 $.





I placed my order on March 13th and it came on the 26th. Besides my new I Love BB Light Cream from Peripera, I ordered a blackhead peel-off mask from the brand Holika Holika *review here*. Just like with my first order, the seller included several samples of different products, including two BB Creams we're very eager to try, though we might get some info on all the products first.
I haven't tried the BB Cream yet, but expect a post about it when I do. We did try the mask and will up a post about it soon.
Bellogirl sent the order by registered mail with signed-for delivery, marked as gift and consigning a lower value (in my case, she declared 10 USD instead of the real 31.98 USD).

Probando Skin 79 Super Plus- Trying Skin79 Super Plus.

Gracias a María, de 'Todos los esmaltes son pocos' hemos podido probar esta BB Cream, ya que nos consiguió una muestra en la tienda que Skin79 abrió recientemente en Madrid.

Thanks to María, from the blog 'Todos los esmaltes son pocos' we've been able to try this BB Cream, as she got us a sample at the store Skin79 recently opened in Madrid.

Quizá tiene una mayor cobertura que su compañera de marca, la Hot Pink, pero menos que las que tenemos de Missha. La sensación al aplicarla en la piel es agradable, y aunque no cubre grandes imperfecciones, sí unifica bastante el tono. Por cierto, nuestra MPC es en el tono #21.

Maybe this one has more coverage than its same-brand-partner, the Hot Pink one, but less than those we have from Missha. It leaves a good feeling when applied on your skin, and although it doesn't cover big imperfections, it does even out the skin tone. Btw, our MPC is in the shade #21.

También hemos hecho foto, comparando el tono con las de Missha.

Puede parecer que la de Skin79 tiene un tono demasiado oscuro para nuestra piel, pero ya sabéis que la piel del antebrazo no es precisamente la más adecuada para probar tonos de maquillaje. En la cara, nos iguala perfectamente.

We've also taken a pic, comparing the shade with those from Missha.

Maybe it seems that the Skin79 one is too dark for our skin, but you already know that the skin of the arm isn't the most appropriate to try make-up on. It matches the skin on our face perfectly.

Resumiendo, después de haber probado estas dos BB creams de Skin79, ambas nos gustan mucho por el tono, que iguala perfectamente con nuestro tono de piel, dando un acabado muy natural. En cuanto a la cobertura, quizá sería ideal que tuviera un poquito más. Un punto intermedio entre la cobertura de Skin79 y la de Missha. El control de brillos de las BB creams de Skin79 nos parece adecuado. ¿Quizá porque se extiende mejor y su cobertura no es tan elevada?

Seguimos en busca de la BB cream ideal. ¿Alguna sugerencia?

To sum up, after having tried these two BB creams from Skin79, we liked both for their shade, that fits perfectly on our skin tone, giving a very natural finish. About coverage, a little bit more would be great. Somewhere in the middle between Skin79 and Missha.

Shine control on BB creams from Skin79 is adequate for us. Maybe because of the better application and lower coverage?

We're still looking for the ideal BB cream. Any suggestions?

Probando Skin79 Hot Pink Super + / Trying Skin79 Hot Pink Super+

En nuestro último intercambio con María de Todos los esmaltes son pocos, le pedimos que nos mandara alguna muestra de las BB Creams de la tienda de Skin79 en Madrid. Os presentamos nuestras primeras impresiones sobre la Hot Pink Super+. La muestra nos dio justita para usarla tres veces y hacer una pequeña comparativa con las otras BB Creams que tenemos.

As part of our latest swap with María from Todos los esmaltes son pocos, we asked her to get us some samples from the Skin79 store in Madrid. Here are our first impressions about the Hot Pink Super+ one. We had barely enough product to use it three times and make a small comparison with the other BB Creams we own.

Hemos probado la primera que veis en la foto, y la verdad es que le damos bastante buena nota.

El tono es más parecido al de nuestra piel, por lo que deja un resultado más natural. La Vita Matte de Missha, que usa Marian, por ejemplo, deja un aspecto un poco "fantasmal", comparada con ésta de Skin79. En cuanto a la cobertura, es menor que en las BB creams de Missha que tenemos. Si no tenéis demasiadas imperfecciones, esto no será un problema.

En cuanto a los brillos, éstos aguantan sin aparecer más tiempo que con las de Missha (eso dice Marian), pero al final acaban saliendo, aunque menos.

We've tried the first one you see in the pic, and it gets good marks from us.

The shade matches our skin tone better, so it leaves a more natural finish. Marian's Vita Matte from Missha, for example, leaves quite a "ghostly" finish, compared to this one from Skin79. It has less coverage than the Missha BB creams we have. If you don't have too many imperfections on your skin, this won't be a problem.

Oil control is better and longer lasting than Missha BB cream (at least, that's what Marian says), but it gets less shiny than with Missha's.

En primer lugar, os pido disculpas por tardar tanto en escribir un nuevo post, que tenía pendiente de hacer desde hace un tiempo, pero he estado desconectada, pues he tenido un pequeño problemilla de salud, y cuando ya he estado recuperada, no he encontrado tiempo.

First of all, I would like to apologize for taking so much time to write a new post, which I've had 'on queue' for some time, but I have been 'offline', because I've had a small health problem, and when I recovered, I didn't find the time to write.

El motivo principal de esta entrada es compartir con vosotras mis primeras impresiones sobre una de las tan famosas BB Creams: la Vita Matte, de Missha, en el tono 21 (hasta en el tono de piel nos parecemos mi hermana y yo).

The main reason for writing this post is to share with you my first impressions about one of the those famous BB Creams: Missha Vita Matte, in the shade 21 (my sister and I have the same skin tone).

Cuando leía en blogs sobre estas cremas, se hablaba de ellas como de cremas con una cobertura mayor que una crema con color, pero menor que un maquillaje.

When I read about these creams, bloggers described them as creams with more coverage than a coloured cream, but less than a makeup foundation.

Pues bien, para mí esta crema cubre lo mismo (incluso más) que la mayoría de los maquillajes que utilizo, lo que supone un punto a su favor (quizá uno solo sea poco). Además, como cualquier BB Cream, tiene función tratante, así que, ¿qué más se puede pedir?

OK, in my opinion, this cream provides the same coverage as (or even more than) most of the foundations I've ever used, which is a 'pro' (maybe only 'one' is saying too little). Besides, as any BB Cream, it treats your skin at the same time, so, what else can I ask for?

Ahora mismo la estoy utilizando como maquillaje. ¿Cómo la uso?

Pues bien, primero me pongo mi crema hidratante (ahora estoy usando una matificante), y después me pongo la BB Cream. He probado a aplicarla con pincel para maquillaje, pero la fórmula es bastante espesa, por lo que me resulta más fácil aplicarla con los dedos.

La primera vez que la usé, no la sellé con polvos, para ver cómo respondía en cuanto a los brillos.

La impresión nada más aplicarla, fue muy agradable. Realmente dejaba la piel mate, y no tenía sensación grasa o pegajosa en la cara. Eso sí, al cabo de las horas, ya salían los brillos, pero igual que con cualquiera de los maquillajes que he usado hasta el momento, así que esto tampoco lo considero especialmente como un punto en contra.

Lo que sí hago ahora es sellar con polvos, para que aguante más tiempo con efecto mate, y entonces, el resultado cambia bastante.

I'm using it as a foundation. How do I use it?

OK, I put my moisturiser on first (now I'm using a mattifying cream), and after that, I put my BB Cream on. I have tried applying it with a foundation brush, but its formula is rather thick, so I find it easier for me to apply it with my fingers.

The first time I used it, I didn't seal/set it with powder, to find out how it managed with shine on the skin. My impression just right after applying it, was very good. It really left a matt finish on my skin, and my face wasn't sticky at all. But my skin got oily after a few hours, just like with other foundations I've used so far; so this was not really a 'con'.

What I do now is seal it with powder, so the matt effect lasts longer.

Vale, todo esto está muy bien, pero, ¿qué pasa cuando me desmaquillo?Pues que noto la piel suave, disminuyen los pequeños granitos y las rojeces que puedo tener.Así que la nota final es... ¡sobresaliente!

Well, this is all very fine but, what about when I remove my makeup?

My skin feels softer, spots and redness is reduced.

So my final grade is... pass with merit!

Quizá me he adelantado un poco al ponerle nota, teniendo en cuenta que son mis primeras impresiones, pero la verdad es que me he llevado una grata sorpresa con esta crema. Seguramente repetiré. Como ya dijo marox79 en su entrada, la vendedora nos envió unas muestras de otros tipos de bb creams, fundamentalmente prebases fijadoras o algo así. No os puedo dar mi opinión al respecto, porque no he usado ninguna todavía. Todo se andará.

Maybe it's too soon to give it a mark, as these are my first impressions, but I've been pleasantly surprised with this cream. Surely I'll repurchase. As marox79 said on her post, seller sent us samples of other types of bb creams, primers or something like that. I can't give you an opinion about them, because I haven't used any of them yet.

Bueno, espero no haberos aburrido con semejante parrafada, y sobre todo, espero que esta entrada os haya resultado útil.

BB Cream Missha Perfect Cover no. 21

En este nuevo post os desvelo el misterio de la procedencia de la cajita que decoré para darle un hogar digno a los esmaltes que tengo aquí en casa de mi hermana.

In this new post I'll reveal the mistery behind the origin of the box I decorated to give the polishes I have here with me at my sister's a worthy home.

Se trata de la caja que contenía el último pedido que he recibido de Ebay. Pista: La vendedora se llama Bellogirl. ¿Lo adivinaís ya? Síiii, el pedido consistió en sendas BB Creams, una para mí y otra para mi hermana.

Si me permitís, en esta entrada os daré las primeras impresiones tan sólo de la mía para que sea mi hermana la que os cuente cómo le va con la suya, ya que al no tener el mismo tipo de piel (Yo mixta; ella grasa) compramos cremas diferentes.

It's the box that held my last Ebay order. Hint: Seller's name is Bellogirl. Can you guess? Yeah, I ordered a couple of BB Creams for both myself and my sis.

If you don't mind I'll only give you my first impressions and leave my sister share what she thinks of hers herself. We ordered different ones since we don't have the same skin type (Me: Combination/ Her: Oily Skin)

La mía no es otra que la famosa Missha Perfect Cover en el tono 21. Pedí el tamaño grande, de 50 ml y el precio, con gastos de envío gratis, fue de 16,99 $ (= 11,73 €, aprox.) Hice el pago el 24 de marzo y me llegaron el 1 de abril. Rapidísimo, teniendo en cuenta que vienen desde el otro lado del mundo, desde Corea del Sur. Además, el envío me llegó certificado -tuve que firmarle al cartero, que ya está acostumbrado. El cartero de mi hermana es muy cumplidor, siempre llama cuando trae algo que no cabe en el buzón y nos lo sube. Ya le dicho a mi hermana que para Navidad se ha ganado una caja de bombones o algo.

La de casa de mis padres, aunque estemos en casa, nos deja el papelito de 'Ausente' (… ¡y una leche!) para ir a recogerlo a Correos, ahí a hacer cola como en la pescadería. En resumidas cuentas, que este cartero nos está ahorrando unas cuantas visitas a la oficina de Correos. Así que, ya sabéis, mimad al vuestro si se porta bien, jeje.

Mine is the famous Missha Perfect Cover in the shade no. 21. I ordered the largest size available, containing 50 ml and paid $16.99 (circa €11,73) for it – with free shipping. Payment was made on March 24^th and they arrived on April 1^st. Superfast, considering these babies come from the other side of the world, South Korea to be exact. Besides, the parcel was sent by registered mail so I had to sign for it to the postman, who's got used to it. My sister's postman is very compliant so to speak and always buzzes us and tells us from the entryphone when we have any mail bigger than our mailbox and even brings it up to us. I've already told my sis that he definitely deserves something for Christmas, a box of chocolates or something.

The postwoman at my parents' leaves a 'Sorry you were out' calling card. 'Out' my a**. We're usually the ones who buzz her in when she comes and she makes us have to stand in line at the Post Office as when at the Fishmonger's. In short, my sister's postman is saving us lots of trips to the Post Office so if yours do their job, treat them right.. ;)

Tras ojear varias críticas de esta crema en Internet, preferí pedir esta que parece ser la BB Cream más popular y en este tono, ya que tengo la piel clara. Al principio de aplicarla, te da la impresión de que es demasiado clara porque te ves un poco 'fantasmagórica', pero sospecho que es por el filtro solar que lleva, un FPS 42 que suelen tardar un poco en absorberse. A los pocos minutos el tono ya iguala el de mi piel. La cobertura es muy buena, algunas opiniones hablan de esta crema como de cobertura 'media' aunque yo iría más allá y diría 'media-alta', al menos en mi caso. Yo la estoy utilizando después de aplicar mi hidratante, como si fuera una base de maquillaje y el resultado me parece muy natural.

After having a look at several reviews online, I decided to play it safe and order this one, which seems to be the most popular BB Cream and also ordered this shade as I have pretty light skin. Right after application, I got the impression that it was going to be too light for me because I looked really 'ghostly white', but I got the feeling this is due to the SPF and the time they need to be absorbed by the skin. A few minutes later, it matched my skintone to perfection. Coverage is very good, some opinions refer to this as 'medium coverage' but I'd go a little bit further and say 'medium-high' or at least it is in my skin. I'm using this after my moisturiser as a foundation and the result is extremely natural.

Suelen recomendar fijar esta BB Cream con polvos, y así lo he hecho casi siempre. Normalmente no me saca brillos en la zona T, o lo que yo considero normal y aceptable, siempre dependiendo del calor que haga y del tiempo que la lleve puesta.

People generally suggest setting this BB Cream with powder and that's what I've done most times. I usually don't get oily spots in my T-zone or if it does, in what I consider normal and acceptable considering the weather and the time I've been wearing it for.

La primera vez que la probé, lo hice en mi mano derecha. Se notaba un poco la diferencia de color (la zona donde la apliqué se veía más oscura) y pensé: Ay Dios... pero como digo, en la cara me ha unificado bastante bien el tono.

Uno de los puntos fuertes de estas cremas según todo el mundo es lo bien que disimulan las imperfecciones y lo suscribo. Tengo una marca en la mano de un arañazo de Molly, 'la Chiqui', y lo cierto es que apenas se notaba o como poco era bastante menos evidente. Ayer para las fotos hice lo mismo, por lo que en la primera foto tenéis mi mano al natural y en la segunda, diez minutos después de haber aplicado la Missha Perfect Cover.

The first time I tried this I did so at the back of my right hand. The difference in colour -darker than the rest- gave me the shivers and had me thinking 'Oh, Lord!' but like I said when applied onto my face it blended really well.

One of the strong points of BB creams pointed out by everyone is how well they disguise imperfections and I strongly agree. I have a scratch mark in my hand from Molly the cat and the truth is you could barely see it or at least was a lot less vivid. I did the same for the photographs yesterday, so the first one you see is my naked hand and the second ten minutes after putting on my Missha Perfect Cover.

La vendedora incluyó varias muestras que no hemos tenido ocasión de probar aún -algunas no tenemos muy claro para qué son. ;)
The seller included a couple of samples we haven't used yet -some of them we're not all quite sure what they're for. ;)
