Productos terminados - 'Finito' products

Muchos de los blogs que seguimos hablan de vez en cuando de los productos que han terminado, con una breve opinión de ellos, así que aquí venimos con nuestra primera entrega, en este caso conjunta. Quién sabe, a lo mejor sacáis alguna idea de qué productos puede merecer la pena probar y cuáles no.

Many of the blogs we follow have regular posts featuring the products they've finished, with a joint short review and opinion, so here's our first. Who knows, perhaps you'll find it useful and helpful in deciding which products are worth a try or not.

1- Crema de manos y uñas 2 en 1 de Essence 'Care' con yoghurt y calcio (marox): Confieso que cuando mi hermana me regaló esta crema hace tiempo, no las tenía yo todas consigo. Resumiendo: tengo dermatitis atópica, me da muuucha pereza usar cremas, etc. Tiene una textura muy agradable, no es nada pesada y para mi sorpresa, me encontraba a mí misma buscando el tubo de esta cremita bastante a menudo. Evidentemente, según la época, no ha impedido que haya tenido que usar las que me recomendó el dermatólogo (Ictyane manos de Ducray), que me va estupenda pero me resulta tan grasientilla que no me la echo más que cuando tengo las manos hechas polvo. El precio, no llega a 2€. La he sustituido por la 'Repair' que me trajo mi madre de Beautik *aquí*. Acabo de ver que la Repair tiene coco y el coco y yo no nos llevamos nada bien.

1- 2in1 hand & nail balm 'Care' from Essence with yoghourt extract and calcium (marox): I confess I was a little weary when I got this hand cream from my sister some time ago. To sum up, I have atopic dermatitis and I'm quite lazy at using hand creams, etc. It has a nice texture, it's not too rich and to my surprise I found myself reaching for this tube quite often. Needless to say, when I'm having a dermatitis breakout I have to use the hand cream my dermathologist prescribed (Ictyane hand cream from Ducray) which works great but it's just too greasy for my liking. I know I shouldn't, but I use that when everything else fails and the skin on my hands is in a pitiful state. Price: about 2 EUR. I'm now using another Essence cream, the 'Repair' one my mum got for me at Beautik *here*. Btw, I just realised that one has

coconut and coconut & me are not the best of friends.

2- Hydra Specific (Noche) de Yves Rocher: Como comentaba en el producto anterior, no soporto las cremas con una textura grasienta, así que en una visita a Yves Rocher y aprovechando uno de los muchos cupones que le mandan a Marian, probé esta crema de noche. Tenían una promoción del 50% de descuento, así que me salió por 7 € aproximadamente. Me ha gustado mucho y no me importaría repetir, pero eso sí, a ese precio. Punto negativo: la forma del envase hace que sea complicado llegar al final del tarrito cuando éste está en las últimas. Marian también la ha usado algunas veces y le ha gustado.

2- Hydra Specific (Night face cream) from Yves Rocher: Like I said when reviewing the previous product, I cannot stand rich creams, so during a visit to the Yves Rocher store *UK/US* the salesgirl suggested I try this. They had a 50% off promotion (and when not, they send Marian a gazillion coupons and vouchers regularly), so the final price was about 7 EUR. I liked this night cream very much and wouldn't mind to repurchase, that is, as long as I can get it at that price. Cons: the odd jar shape makes it hard to reach the bottom and get product when it's almost finished. Marian tried this occassionally and liked it too.

3- Crema corporal de Rosa Mosqueta 'Sairo' (de venta en Alcampo y Simply): La vimos en algún blog, así que en nuestra siguiente visita a Alcampo, la compramos. La aplicamos como hacemos siempre, con el cuerpo húmedo (con gotas) para que se reparta mejor y gastar menos. No está mal pero tampoco es nada del otro jueves, y como ya sabéis nos gusta muuucho más la de Argán de Mercadona. Es una pena que sólo tengan esa y la de Aceite de Oliva. Si las monogotas las hicieran en formato tarro, no nos importaría probarlas.

3- Rosa Moschata nourishing body cream from 'Sairo' (available at Alcampo and Simply): We saw this on some blog and got it on our next visit to Alcampo. We applied it as usual on damp (with water drops) skin to make application easier and avoid wasting product. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. We like Mercadona's Argan Oil one waaay better. It's a pity Mercadona doesn't sell their famous Monogotas body milks in a jar format, because we'd love to try those then.

4- Sérum reparador para puntas abiertas de Mercadona (de Marox). Es el primer tubo que gasto, aplico una pequeña cantidad -una pulsación- mezclada con unas gotitas de aceite de almendras (también de Mercadona) en las puntas del pelo, y lo noto más hidratado y menos reseco. Evidentemente, milagros no hace y llegado el momento tendréis que pasar por la peluquería. A decir verdad, todavía me queda un 'culín' de producto, ya que he cortado el tubo y calculo que aún tendré sérum como para un mes con lo que quedaba en el fondo.

4- Split ends Repair Treatment Serum from Mercadona (from Marox): This is my first used-up tube. I apply the tiniest amount -one pump- with a few drops of sweet almond oil (also available at Mercadona supermarkets) to my ends and they feel more moisturized and less dry. It doesn't do miracles to split ends, so eventually you'll have to pay your hairdresser a visit. To be entirely honest I do have a little product left, as I cut the tube in half to wipe the remaining product clean and I guess that will last me about a month or so.

5- Mini manteca corporal de guayaba y nuez de macadamia de Etos: De venta en las perfumerías holandesas Etos de las que hablamos *aquí*. Tiene una textura muy agradable tipo mousse y un ligero olorcito frutal. La pena es que es muy pequeñita y para la cantidad que trae -50 ml, resulta un poco cara como para usarla regularmente. Nos ha durado una semana, aproximadamente. Compramos otra más, así que podremos probarla de nuevo más adelante.

5- Guava and macadamia nut body butter from Etos: Purchased at the Dutch drugstores we talked about *here*. It's very small (50ml only) and therefore not very budget-friendly if you intend to use this on a regular basis. It has a slight fruity scent and a very nice mousse-like texture. We used this up in about a week and have another jar we will use some other time.

6- Quitaesmaltes sin acetona de Basic (Schlecker): Tuneado por Marian *aquí* para hacerlo más hidratante. Retira el esmalte bastante bien, aunque con colores muy oscuros, hay que insistir un poco más. Necesitábamos uno y como Schlecker nos queda al lado de flamenco, pues rara es la vez que al salir de clase no hacemos escala técnica allí. Baratito y cumple, aunque supongo que los habrá mejores.




6- Acetone-free nail polish remover from Basic (Schlecker): Marian upgraded it to make it more moisturizing *here*. It does the job, though with darker colours you may have to be patient. We needed a remover and Schlecker happens to be right outside where we go to our flamenco dance lessons, so we pop into the store almost every week. Cheap and it works, though I suppose there will probably be better options out there.

Mis jumbos para ojos Deliplus - My eyeshadow pencils from Deliplus.

Esta entrada no es sobre ningún "haul" reciente, sino más bien acumulado y temático.
Lo que quiero decir es que os voy a presentar aquí mis jumbos para ojos de Deliplus, que como sabéis, sólo se pueden comprar en los supermercados españoles Mercadona.

Hi everyone, This post is not about any recent haul, but an accumulated and thematic haul.
I mean, I'm going to show you my eyeshadow pencils from Deliplus. These are only sold, as you probably know already, at the Spanish supermarkets Mercadona.

Como la mayoría ya sabréis, se trata de sombras en crema, pero en formato lápiz (que me parece algo así como magia) que las hace más cómodas de utilizar.

As most of you surely know, they're creamy eyeshadows in a pencil (this is some kind of magic for me), which are very easy to use.

El primero que compré fue el tono "Bronce" (abajo del todo en la foto). Era parte de una edición limitada de 6 jumbos, de colores variados en acabado metalizado y resistentes al agua. Resistentes al agua de verdad.

The first one I bought was 'Bronce' (bronze) (at the bottom of the pic). It was part of a limited edition of 6 eyeshadow pencils, in different colours with a metallic finish and waterproof. Really waterproof.


Me gustó tanto (creo que no fui la única) que cuando salieron más en siguientes ediciones limitadas, compré los que pude (y los que más me gustaron), que fueron el "Agua", "Ultramar" y "Chocolate", y desde luego, no me decepcionaron en absoluto.

I liked it so much (I think I wasn't the only one there) that when more of them were sold on subsequent limited editions, I bought the ones I could (and the ones I liked the most), which were: 'Agua' (Water), 'Ultramar' (Overseas), and 'Chocolate', and I didn't feel disappointed at all.



Hace pocos meses lanzaron otra colección de jumbos para ojos, y esta vez (si no recuerdo mal) me los cogí todos. Y es que no había un color que no me gustara.

A few months ago a new collection of eyeshadow pencils was on sale, and this time (if I'm not wrong) I purchased all the shades available (I liked them all).
They are: #01 Violeta (Purple), #02 Hielo (Ice), #03 Verde menta (Mint green) and #04 Champagne.



Como conclusión, estos jumbos son los únicos productos que como base de sombras, al cabo de las horas, no me hacen pliegues. Ni prebase de ArtDeco ni nada de nada.

To sum up, these eyeshadow pencils are the only products that, as base eyeshadows, don't crease on me. You can forget about eyeshadow bases like ArtDeco with these.
