¿Qué tal lleváis este temporal de frío? Espero que Filomena no haya causado demasiado trastorno en vuestras ciudades. Aquí ha nevado lo suyo, cosa que no suele suceder muy a menudo y también llevamos varios días con mucha cencellada. En este año tan raro y malo para muchos que hemos dejado atrás hace poco, hemos pasado - y pasaremos - más tiempo en casa que nunca, disfrutando de la compañía de la familia y dedicándolo al entretenimiento más de lo habitual. Comienzo con los regalos que recibí de mi hermana: 1 - Trilogía de Millennium (películas basadas en la trilogía de Stieg Larsson) en Bluray: Aunque teníamos reproductor de BluRay en Burgos, lo cierto es que no teníamos ninguna película en este formato y ahora que lo pienso, casi ni en DVD. Descubrí *Wallapop* recientemente y me autoregalé un reproductor para mi habitación de Zamora y claro, había que probarlo en condiciones. Creo que Marian las compró por Ebay, todas al mismo vendedor que me las envió directamente a mí. Venían perfectamente precintadas, aunque en la imagen hay una ya sin el precinto.  Mis padres me dieron dinero -han sido súper generosos este año- y me he dado unos cuantos caprichos (y conociéndome, quizá caiga alguna cosa más). En mi defensa, debo decir que también vendí un artículo en Wallapop bastante bien y que tenía saldo de Paypal del cashback de mis compras online. Sin más dilación, unas cositas de música: 2 - CD 'Gammal kärlek rostar aldrig' de Per Gessle, y libro sobre la mayoría de letras que ha escrito, en su edición en inglés, adquirido en *Bengans*. Como véis, el libro es bien gordote. El Cd -su 13º disco en solitario- incluye temas nuevos creados para este disco, pero otros son bastante antiguos a los que le ha dado otro toque. Por cierto, que ya ha anunciado nuevo disco con un concierto acústico que dió hace poco, televisado, cumpliendo las distancias impuestas por el coronavirus. Está visto que este buen hombre está empeñado en hacer que afloje la cartera. 3 - CD 'Bag of Trix' de Roxette: Lo compré en Amazon, que lo puso a muy buen precio en preventa, aunque desde el día 11 de diciembre que salió a la venta no lo recibí hasta el 22. En parte porque sospecho que han atendido antes los pedidos de Alemania, etc, que los de España. Ejem. La versión en CD son 3 cds, mientras que la edición en vinilo trae 4, pero era una pasada de cara. Se nota que los vinilos se han puesto de moda y las discográficas se están forrando y se aprovechan.  4 - Película 'Intocable' en BluRay: Nos gustó mucho en su día y así la podemos ver de vez en cuando si nos apetece. La compré por Wallapop, aprovechando que un día pusieron los gastos de envío al 50%. Me salió por unos 8 euros, ya con el envío. 5 - 'Pretty Woman' en BluRay: Solemos verla cuando la ponen por la tele, así que mejor tenerla 'en propiedad' para verla sin anuncios y a la hora que queramos. La compré por Ebay genial de precio, por 4,50€, con envío gratis al vendedor *pop.fiction*. 6 - Trilogía de Bridget Jones en Bluray: Me salió tirada de precio en Amazon, 10.49€. Antes de comprarla, hice una comprobación en camelcamelcamel y nunca había estado más barata.  7 - Edición de coleccionistas de 'Dirty Dancing' en Bluray: Al igual que la anterior, comprobé el histórico de precio y era el más bajo, así que por 15€ se vino conmigo. Tengo algunos paquetes 'en tránsito'. A decir verdad, algunas de mis últimas compras están gafadas: un paquete de Amazon España que fue entregado en un 'lugar seguro' y han sido incapaces de decirme dónde lo han dejado; otro de Amazon del Reino Unido que viene de Australia que han tenido que reenviar porque aún no había sido escaneado pasadas 3 semanas... y otro de Amazon España para mi madre que aparte del retraso por el temporal, lo han mandado por error a otro transportista... a Barcelona. How are you coping with *Storm Filomena*? I hope this cold snap hasn't caused much disruption where you live. Here, it has snowed for a few days -a rare occurence- and we've been having freezing frog pretty much non-stop for a few days. This year so weird and bad we recently left behind has made us spend a lot more time than ever at home and in the company of our loved ones. We've also devoted more of our free time to different entertainment options. I'll start with the presents I got from my sister: 1 - Millennium trilogy (films based on the Stieg Larsson novels) on BluRay: The truth is we do have a BluRay player in Burgos, but we had no films in this format -nor much in DVD either, for that matter. I recently discovered *Wallapop*, a popular second-hand website in Spain, and treated myself to a player for my bedroom in Zamora. And I had to test that properly, you see. I believe Marian got these off Ebay from the same seller, who shipped them directly to me. They were sealed, though in the picture one of them does no longer have said seal. My parents gave me some money -they were really generous this year- and thus I've treated myself to some stuff I had my eye on -and knowing myself, more may come. In my defense, I must say I also sold an item on Wallapop for a great price plus I had some Paypal balance from the cashback I get from online purchases.  2 - 'Gammal kärlek rostar aldrig' (= Old love never rusts / dies) CD album by Per Gessle and English edition of the book about most of the lyrics he's written in English, which I ordered from *Bengans*. As you see, the book is quite heavy. The CD -his 13th solo album- includes both songs written and recorded for this album, as well as much older ones given new arrangements. By the way, he recently announced a new release, an unplugged concert that was broadcast live, respecting social distancing imposed by Covid19. It seems this guy is intent on me spending my hard-earned money. 3 - 'Bag of Trix' Cd from Roxette: I got this from Amazon, which had it at a great price while it was still on pre-order. Mind you, it's taken a long time for them to ship. It was released on December 11th, but I didn't get my copy until December 22nd. In part because I suspect they've given priority to orders from Germany and other countries before Spain. Erm. The CD release comes with 3 discs, whereas the vinyl one has 4, but it was outrageously expensive, imo. It's evident that vinyls are back on trend and record companies are making the most of it and trick you out of your money accordingly.  4 - 'Untouchable' BluRay: We really enjoyed this French film when we first saw it, so why not enjoy it whenever we feel like it. I got this second-hand from Wallapop, on a day when they had 50% off shipping, for about €8 total. 5 - 'Pretty Woman' BluRay: We usually watch this whenever it is on TV, so we'd better have this 'in ownership'. I got this off Ebay really affordable, for only €4.50 including shipping from a Spanish seller.  6 - Bridget Jones Trilogy on Bluray: It was a steal at Amazon.es, only €10.49. Before ordering, I ran a search on camelcamelcamel and it had never been cheaper. 7- 'Dirty Dancing' Collector's Edition on Bluray: Just like with the previous item, I did a quick price tracking and it was at its lowest, so for just €15 I didn't even think about it.  I do have some some pending packages that are 'in transit'. Truth be told, some of my latest orders seem to be jinxed: one from Amazon Spain that was delivered to a 'safe location' they were unable to determine; another one from Amazon UK that comes all the way from Australia that has had to be resent because it hadn't been scanned in the course of 3 weeks... and then another from Amazon Spain for my mum that is delayed to the storm and has been sent to another freight carrier by mistake... to Barcelona. Compras varias / Sundry Haul (IV)
Hola, chicas:
La entrada de hoy va de compritas tecnológicas. Hace poco os comentaba que tenía un post de compras en el horno. Pues bien, era éste. Espero que no os decepcione, no todo aquí son cosas de belleza, como sabéis.
1- iPad Mini 5, 2019 (marox): Hoy empiezo fuerte, como véis. Mi iPad mini es ya bastante viejito (de primera generación, aunque yo pensaba que era de la segunda) y ya no me deja actualizar el sistema operativo ni alguna aplicación. Aunque funciona muy bien, me ha parecido que era momento de irlo jubilando. Puesto que este año no parece que nos podamos ir de vacaciones, pues he aprovechado para renovarlo.
Y como probablemente en breve nuestros 'ilustres líderes' nos bajen el sueldo, nos suban los impuestos para seguir viviendo ellos como reyes mientras los autónomos, vosotras y nosotros pagamos sus sueldazos, muchos trabajadores no cobran sus ERTE, etc.. me he dado el capricho.
Lo he comprado, nuevecito, por Ebay al vendedor *jurongeast*, por 377,99€, un preciazo, teniendo que en la tienda oficial de Apple cuesta 449€. El vendedor lo ha enviado desde España, aunque es importado puesto que trae enchufe americano (el vendedor incluyó un adaptador, eso sí).
Se trata del modelo más básico, el de 64 GB y sólo Wifi, pero con los precios que manejan los de la manzana, no necesito más. El color, oro rosa, como podéis ver, que encima era el que más me molaba.
El viejo, intetaremos venderlo y así no me duele tanto el bolsillo. Y si no se vende, mi madre ha dicho que lo adopta.
Y relacionado con lo anterior, unas cuantas cositas más.
2 - Funda ZtoTop para iPad Mini 5, de Amazon: Dudé mucho entre qué tipo de funda comprar. Ésta se ve robusta, tiene una goma para cerrar el 'libro' y luego otra a modo de asa en el interior para tenerlo bien sujeto con una sola mano. Es funda inteligente, de las que al abrirla se 'despierta' el dispositivo.
Lo que menos me gustaba es que es algo 'sosa' en comparación con otras que llevan algún detalle: un estampado, colores a elegir, etc.
Precio: 17,99€
3 - Protector de cristal templado para iPad Mini 5, de Amazon: La marca es *JETech* y tenía muy buenas opiniones. No es plan de gastarse los cuartos en el cacharrito y luego tenerlo por ahí desnudito y desprotegido para que sufra arañazos.
Precio: 7,99€
4 - Lápiz inteligente tipo 'Apple Pencil 1' de Aliexpress: También tenía buenas opiniones y además el *vendedor* enviaba desde España, lo mejor en estos tiempos que los envíos desde el extranjero demoran más de lo habitual.
Ni de broma pensaba gastarme los 100 pavos que cuesta el original, teniendo en cuenta que el uso que le voy a dar será ocasional.
El vendedor es AIEACH. Trae una especie de guante, una pequeña funda y el cable para cargarlo.
Me ha gustado que el taponcito que esconde el puerto de carga está imantado. Así no se pierde con tanta facilidad. Tampoco se conecta mediante Bluetooth (así ahorramos batería en la tablet). Para usarlo, sólo hay que encenderlo.
Afortunadamente, a pesar de no ser el original, ha cabido justito en el hueco que tiene la funda para ello.

Some days ago I told you that I was working on a Haul post that was in the works. This is the one. I hope you won't be disappointed. Not everything we post is beauty-related.
1- iPad Mini 5, 2019 (marox): The main act comes first this time, as you see. My iPad mini is an oldie (it's a 1st gen model, not 2nd unlike I thought) and would no longer let me update the OS or some apps. It does work like a charm still but I felt it was a good time to upgrade. Since it doesn't seem we'll be going anywhere on holiday any time soon, I decided to spend some of that money on this.
And to make matters worse, sooner than later our salaries will get the chop, taxes will rise so our useless politicians can continue to live in the lap of luxury while others fail to get paid their temporary dismissals (ERTE in Spanish) and so on... Long story short, I splurged.
I bought it, brand new and perfectly sealed off Ebay to seller *jurongeast*, for €377.99, which is a steal, considering it retails at €449 at the Spanish Apple website. The seller shipped this from Spain, even though it is an imported model (and thus comes with a US plug, but an adapter was kindly included).
It is the basic model, with 64 GB and Wifi-only, but given how pricey anything by the 'fruit company' is, this is more than enough for me, honestly. It is the rose-gold model as you see, which happened to be the one I was digging anyway.
We'll be listing the old one, so my pocket doesn't hurt that much. If doesn't sell, my mum offered to take it in.
And related to the previous purchase, here are a few more things.
2 - ZtoTop case for the iPad Mini 5, from Amazon: It took me a while to decide what case to get. This is very sturdy, has an elastic so you can keep the 'book' closed and then another strap inside to have a firm grip on the iPad with a single hand. It is a smart cover, one of those where the device 'wakes up' upon opening.
What I didn't like was the fact that it looks a bit 'meh' when compared to others that are more colourful or have some sort of pattern, come in different colours, etc.
Price: €17.99
3 - Tempered glass screen protector for the iPad Mini 5, from Amazon: The brand is *JETech* and had top reviews. It would be silly to splurge on the device but then keep it bare and unprotected against scratches and so on, wouldn't it?.
Precio: €7.99
4 - Smart Stylus, similar to the Apple Pencil 1, from Aliexpress: It did have great reviews and in addition, the *seller* shipped from Spain, the best thing these days considering the delays international shipments have.
There was no way I was going to spend €100 on the real thing, since I will only use this occasionally.
The store's name was AIEACH. It does come with an odd-looking glove, a small case and the charging cable.
I really like the fact that the cap is magnetic, making it more difficult to lose. It does not connect via Bluetooth (thus saving battery). All you need to do is press the power button and you're good to go.
Luckily, even if it's not the real name-brand stylus, the slot the case had for it fits this alternative one as well.
Price: $15.09.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts and gifts to self.
Hola, chicas:
Hace unas semanas fue mi cumpleaños y quería enseñaros lo que me regalaron.
Empezamos con los regalos de mis padres.
1- Camiseta fucsia con estampado de hojas.
Me encanta el color que tiene, sobre todo para el verano. Llega de largo hasta la mitad de la cadera.
2- Vestido efecto "arrugado".
Lleva telas de diferentes tonos y estampados.
Me encanta el efecto arrugado, porque siempre está perfecto. Con este tipo de prendas puedes ir "arreglá pero informal".
3- Camiseta efecto "superposición".
Queda muy favorecedora, y la tela es muy fresquita.
Ahora seguimos con los regalos de Marox.
4- Paleta de Kiko "Jelly Jungle".
Por su tamaño y el número de sombras que trae, me recuerda a aquella de Essence, de la edición limitada "I love Berlin" (que todavía tengo).
Ya la he estrenado (bueno, no todos los colores).
Resulta una buena opción para llevar de viaje.
5- Camiseta "I can freeze time..."
Como supondréis, el lema de la camiseta me encanta. Además, me queda muy bien.
En la foto no se ve, pero tiene unas aberturas en la parte superior de las mangas que dejan los hombros al descubierto. La compró en Aliexpress.
6- Pulsera "I shoot RAW".
Ha sido un regalo acertadísimo, porque en mi caso, el lema es cierto: Disparo en RAW.
Tanto este como el anterior pueden ser buenos regalos para amantes de la fotografía.
La pulsera me queda un pelín grande (supongo que está pensada para chicos, aunque no entiendo muy bien por qué). La compró en Ebay.
7- Libro "Hello Glow", de Stephanie Gerber.
Otro acierto, sin duda.
Es un libro con recetas para hacer tus propios productos de cosmética. Me lo leí entero en un par de tardes (eso que está en inglés). Está genial. Ya compartiré alguna recetita con vosotras. Me lo compró en Amazon.
Y ahora voy con mis autorregalos.
8- Funda protectora para maleta.
La compré en AliExpress, y está disponible en varios tamaños. Tiene aberturas para las asas y el arnés, así que podré llevarla protegida sin tener que envolverla en plástico.
Además, reconoceré mi equipaje fácilmente, ¿no os parece?
Marox quiere una para ella también.
9- Esponja para limpiar brochas de maquillaje.
Hasta ahora, para quitar los restos de sombra de las brochas, siempre utilizaba un poco de papel, y ¡hala! a tirar.
Con esta esponja puedo quitar los restos de sombra, y cuando esté sucia, la lavo... y lista para usar otra vez.
Me parece una idea genial. Marox se compró una y me encantó cuando la probé, así que decidí comprar una para mí.
La compré en AliExpress.

Con esta esponja puedo quitar los restos de sombra, y cuando esté sucia, la lavo... y lista para usar otra vez.
Me parece una idea genial. Marox se compró una y me encantó cuando la probé, así que decidí comprar una para mí.

Let's start with the gifts from my parents.

I love the colour, mainly for summer.
It is mid-hip length.
2- Dress with wrinkled effect.
It's made of a fabric with different shades and prints.
I love the wrinkled effect, because it's always perfect. You can wear these kind of garments and get that 'smart but informal look'.
3- Overlap effect T-shirt.
It fits really well, and the fabric is fresh.
Now let's move onto Marox's gifts.
4- Kiko 'Jelly Jungle' eyeshadow palette.
For both its size and the number of eyeshadows it contains, it reminds me of that one from the LE 'I love Berlin' from Essence (which I still have).
I've already used it (well, not all the shades).
I think it's an excellent option to carry with you when travelling.
5- 'I can freeze time...' T-shirt.
As you can guess, I love the slogan on the t-shirt. Besides, it fits me really well.
You can't see this in the pic, but it has two slits on the upper part of the sleeves, so the shoulders are uncovered.
6- 'I shoot RAW' bracelet.
It awas a complete hit, because the slogan is so true for me: I shoot RAW.
Both this one and the other one above could be perfect gifts for those photography lovers out there.
The bracelet is a bit big for me (I guess it's men's sized, but I don't know why).

She nailed it again.
It's a book with recipes to make your own cosmetics. I read it in a couple of afternoons (not too bad, to be written in English). It's great. I'll share with you the recipes I make.
And now, it's time to see my gifts to self.
8- Protective Case for luggage.
I bought it from AliExpress, and it's available in different sizes. It has openings for the handles, so I could cover it for better protection, without wrapping it in plastic.
Besides, I'll recognize my luggage easily, don't you think?

Vendiendo en eBay: mi experiencia - Selling on eBay: my experience.
Hola, chicas:
Esta es una entrada atípica, lo sé.
Pero me apetecía compartir con vosotras mi experiencia como vendedora en eBay.
Empecé a plantearme vender cosas en eBay cuando me compré el objetivo 18-270 mm de Tamron para mi Nikon D3000.
Empezaría poniendo a la venta mis objetivos de kit, pues ya no los iba a utilizar.
Esa fue la idea inicial, ya que tardé bastante en ponerlos a la venta. Como que me daba un poco de miedo.
Así que empecé con cosas "pequeñas", de menos valor.
En un video de YouTube (esa gran fuente de conocimiento) vi uno sobre las típicas cosas que uno tiene en el trastero (o en casa muertas de asco), y que quizá a otra gente le interesen.
Por ejemplo, videojuegos antiguos.
Mi madre tenía algunos juegos de la Nintendo DS. Ya no los iba a volver a utilizar, pues le robaron la consola, con uno de los juegos dentro.
Le comenté la idea, y le pareció bien.
De los 3 juegos que puse a la venta, he conseguido vender uno.
También puse a la venta el CD de Sharon Corr que tenía repetido (ya os lo contamos en este blog).
En éste puse "envío gratis", y se fue a Eslovaquia. Lo envié por correo normal y me costó más enviarlo que lo que me pagaron por él. Error de novata.
También vendí unas fundas para móvil que pedí a Aliexpress, y que me llegaron cuando el móvil ya se me había estropeado (se estropeó de la noche a la mañana).
Y ya por fin, me decidí a poner a la venta mis objetivos de kit.
El 18-55 lo vendí al día siguiente de poner el anuncio, y el 55-200 tardé un poco más en venderlo.
Un consejo: para objetos de cierto valor, os recomiendo el envío certificado y asegurado por el valor que os hayan pagado.
Así evitáis disgustos.
Afortunadamente, no he tenido que tirar de ese seguro.
Ahora mi padre también se ha animado a hacer limpieza de trastero y me ha dado un par de cámaras y otros accesorios de fotografía antiguos para que los venda.
Esto va a ser un no parar, jeje.
Bueno, esto ha sido todo en esta entrada tan poco habitual.

But I would like to share with you my experience as a seller on eBay.
I began to play with the idea of selling stuff on Ebay when I bought my 18-270 mm Tamron lens for my Nikon D3000.
I would start by selling the lenses that came with my kit, as I no longer needed those.
That was the plan, which took a while to realize. I guess I was a bit wary.
I started off with small items that were not too valuable.
On a YouTube video (that great source of wisdom) I saw one about the usual stuff one keeps in their storage room or at home gathering dust which other people may still find of use.
One of the suggested items were old videogames. My mum had a few Nintendo DS games. She can no longer use those as the console was stolen, with a game inside.
I spoke to my mum about it and she was all for it.
I've managed to sell one of the three games I put on sale.
I was also able to sell the Sharon Corr CD I had an extra copy of, as you know. I listed that with 'free shipping' and it travelled all the way to Slovakia. I sent that by standard mail and ended up spending more on shipping than what I got paid for it. Novice mistake.
I sold a mobile case I'd bought from Aliexpress too, as by the time I got them, my mobile had stopped working overnight.
With those experiences under my belt, the time had come to sell my camera lenses.
My old 18-55 lens was sold the day after listing and the 55-200 one took a bit longer.
Here's some useful advice: when selling valuable items, do send them by registered mail and insure them for whatever you got paid for the stuff.
It will save you problems. Thankfully, I didn't need to make any claims.
My dad was also inspired to declutter some of his stuff in storage and gave me a couple of old cameras and related accessories for me to list them.
I can see this trend going on, lol.

Compras varias / Sundry Haul
Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.
1- Mascarilla nocturna 'Water Sleeping Mask' de Laneige (marox): Como se me estaba acabando la tornado de Missha y soy un culo inquieto, pues me decidí a probar el superventas de la cosmética coreana.
La compré por Ebay, a *este* vendedor, por 20,99 dólares.
Me está gustando mucho, se absorbe bastante rápido y deja una sensación como de piel descansada.
El vendedor mandó una mascarilla tissu, que ni que decir tiene, no he usado aún.
2 - Emulsión CosRX: Para mezclar con la de The Face Shop que no me gusta nada. La compré por Ebay. La pedí una primera vez y no llegó y me reembolsaron el dinero, así que la que os enseño la compré al segundo vendedor más barato. Me costó 16,56 dólares y la compré a *este* vendedor.
3 - Sérum nocturno Missha: En realidad se lo regalé a mi madre por el día de la madre, pero como puede que algún día lo pruebe, os lo enseño aquí brevemente.
La he usado un par de veces de momento y la verdad es que va bien. No se nota sensación grasienta en absoluto. Mi madre nota un poco de picor al poco de aplicarla, pero no se le enrojece la piel ni nada. Me costó 25,84 dólares y la compré a *este* vendedor.
4- Manteca corporal de haba tonka y karité de Cien Nature (Lidl).
Este producto forma parte de una promoción, así que no podréis encontrarlo de forma habitual, aunque esperamos que pronto lo esté, tanto éste como otros de la línea. Trae 200ml y costó 1,99€.
5- Aceite de almendras dulces de Tonocrem (Perfumerías Arenal).
Hacía tiempo que había visto que había abierto esta perfumería, pero no suelo ir mucho al centro.
Así que un día que Marox y yo teníamos que ir al centro sí o sí, aprovechamos para entrar en esta perfumería, y no salimos de vacío.
Compré este bote de 500 ml de aceite de almendras dulces para hacer mis inventos potinguiles. Le he dado un poco a mi hermana en una botellita más pequeña que he reutilizado.
Me costó 5,90€.
Bueno, estas han sido nuestras compras hasta el momento.

1- Laneige 'Water Sleeping Mask', (marox): My tornado one from Missha was almost gone and I'm a restless, antsy gal when it comes to skincare, so I ordered a best seller in Korea.
I ordered it off Ebay, from *this* seller and paid $20.99.
So far, I'm really digging this, as it soaks up quite fast and your skin feels refreshed, just like after a good night sleep.
The seller sent a complimentary tissue mask that needless to say I didn't get round to trying yet.
2 - CosRX Birch sap emulsion (marox): I bought this to mix with the one from The Face Shop which was a complete disappointment. That way I'll use that up instead of throwing it away. I bought this off Ebay, though my first order never arrived and was given a refund and the next time I chose the second cheapest seller. I paid $16.56 and got it from *this* seller.
3 - Missha Night Repair Ampoule (marox): I actually bought this for my mum, but as I'll probably use that myself occasionally, it felt right to show you.
I've used this a couple of times already and it works nice. It doesn't feel greasy at all. My mum notices a tingling sensation shortly after applying it, but it causes no redness whatsoever. I bought it from *this* seller and paid $25.84.
4- Tonka bean and shea body butter from Cien Nature (Lidl).
This item is part of a limited edition, but we hope it will be sold anytime of the year very soon (this one and the rest of this range).
It contains 200 ml and was only €1.99.
5- Sweet almond oil from Tonocrem (Arenal Parfumeries).
It was quite a while since I noticed this store had opened, but I don't go downtown very often.
So one day Marox and I had to go downtown, we got into this store, and we filled our basket with some goodies.
I bought this bottle of sweet almond oil, containing 500 ml to make some of my homemade cosmetics.
I gave Marox a little of this oil in a small bottle I reused.
I paid €5.90 for it.
Well, these have been our purchases so far.

Compras varias acumuladas - Sundry haul.
Hola, chicas:
Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros lo que hemos comprado últimamente.
Hace un par de semanas estuve dando una vuelta por el centro (hacía mucho que no iba), y me topé con una tienda que no conocía. Me llamó tanto la atención que entré, y no pude salir de vacío.
La verdad es que había cosas monísimas.
La tienda se llama Flying Tiger, y es originaria de Copenhague.
Tenían muchas cosas para manualidades, decoración, incluso para deporte (tenían calcetines y guantes para yoga).
Esto fue lo que compré.
1- Romero.
La bolsa trae 80 gr. Lo compré pensando en que puedo hacer algún producto de cosmética casera con él, pero también me puedo tomar una infusión. Me costó 2€.
2- Colador para infusiones.
El que tenía antes tenía un cierre de clip y una cadena. Se ha abierto la pieza que unía las dos partes y ya no lo puedo arreglar, así que he comprado este otro, que lleva un sistema diferente, como si fueran unas pinzas. Me costó 1€.
Hace varios fines de semana hubo mercado medieval. Lo vi de casualidad y no pude por menos de darme una vuelta. Como os imaginaréis, tampoco me fui de vacío.
Esto fue lo que compré.
3- Infusión de rooibos chocolate y menta.
Me pareció interesante la combinación, así que se vino conmigo. Me costó 5€.
4- Ambientador natural.
Este es con aroma de dama de noche (me encanta ese olor). Ya había comprado otros similares en el mercado medieval de Zamora, y me gustó tanto que quise probar con otro diferente.
El olor dura muchísimo. Cuando notéis que deja de oler, sólo tenéis que romper la piedra y se desprende el olor de nuevo.
Me costó 2€.
5- Aceite esencial puro de árbol de té.
Otra adquisición para mis experimentos potinguiles. La botella trae 10 ml y me costó 12€, si no recuerdo mal.
6- Crema para el contorno de ojos.
Hecha con productos naturales y sin tóxicos.
El tarro trae 30 ml y me costó 10€.
He empezado a usarla y la sensación es muy agradable. Hidrata mucho esa zona tan delicada.
Y ahora vamos con lo que ha comprado Marox.
7- CC cream 'Face 2 change' en el tono #2 'Natural Beige' de Holika Holika. La compré a *este* vendedor. Me costó 11,48 dólares, con el envío incluído.
Con factor de protección 32, tiene unas capsulitas que al frotarlas sobre la piel van desprendiendo color. Me la noto un pelín clara, así que le añado una gota de maquillaje más oscuro. De momento no os puedo contar mucho más, ya que sólo la he probado un par de veces.
8- Brillo de labios mate de Essence: Me acerqué a un supermercado Alimerka con mueble de Essence, que además estaba muy cuidado y no pude evitar picar con alguna cosilla de liquidación, como este brillo de labios de color rojo. Es bastante pigmentado y tiene una duración bastante aceptable. Suelo aplicarme antes un poco de protector labial (el de EOS), así que no me resulta en absoluto seco. Creo que los productos de Essence hace ya un par de años dieron un salto de calidad.
Al estar en liquidación, su precio fue de 1,29€.
9 - Base de maquillaje 'Stay all day' de Essence en el tono #20 'Soft Nude': La compré para sustituir a la anterior, que está en las últimas. Suelo añadir una gotita a las BB Cream y ahora a la CC Cream para que el color se ajuste mejor a mi tono.
La compré también en Alimerka, sólo que no estaba en liquidación. Me costó 4,89€.
Como veis, son bastantes cosas, pero variadas; no sólo de cosmética.

La bolsa trae 80 gr. Lo compré pensando en que puedo hacer algún producto de cosmética casera con él, pero también me puedo tomar una infusión. Me costó 2€.
2- Colador para infusiones.
El que tenía antes tenía un cierre de clip y una cadena. Se ha abierto la pieza que unía las dos partes y ya no lo puedo arreglar, así que he comprado este otro, que lleva un sistema diferente, como si fueran unas pinzas. Me costó 1€.
Hace varios fines de semana hubo mercado medieval. Lo vi de casualidad y no pude por menos de darme una vuelta. Como os imaginaréis, tampoco me fui de vacío.
Esto fue lo que compré.
3- Infusión de rooibos chocolate y menta.
Me pareció interesante la combinación, así que se vino conmigo. Me costó 5€.
4- Ambientador natural.
Este es con aroma de dama de noche (me encanta ese olor). Ya había comprado otros similares en el mercado medieval de Zamora, y me gustó tanto que quise probar con otro diferente.
El olor dura muchísimo. Cuando notéis que deja de oler, sólo tenéis que romper la piedra y se desprende el olor de nuevo.
Me costó 2€.
5- Aceite esencial puro de árbol de té.
Otra adquisición para mis experimentos potinguiles. La botella trae 10 ml y me costó 12€, si no recuerdo mal.
6- Crema para el contorno de ojos.
Hecha con productos naturales y sin tóxicos.
El tarro trae 30 ml y me costó 10€.
He empezado a usarla y la sensación es muy agradable. Hidrata mucho esa zona tan delicada.
Y ahora vamos con lo que ha comprado Marox.
7- CC cream 'Face 2 change' en el tono #2 'Natural Beige' de Holika Holika. La compré a *este* vendedor. Me costó 11,48 dólares, con el envío incluído.
Con factor de protección 32, tiene unas capsulitas que al frotarlas sobre la piel van desprendiendo color. Me la noto un pelín clara, así que le añado una gota de maquillaje más oscuro. De momento no os puedo contar mucho más, ya que sólo la he probado un par de veces.
8- Brillo de labios mate de Essence: Me acerqué a un supermercado Alimerka con mueble de Essence, que además estaba muy cuidado y no pude evitar picar con alguna cosilla de liquidación, como este brillo de labios de color rojo. Es bastante pigmentado y tiene una duración bastante aceptable. Suelo aplicarme antes un poco de protector labial (el de EOS), así que no me resulta en absoluto seco. Creo que los productos de Essence hace ya un par de años dieron un salto de calidad.
Al estar en liquidación, su precio fue de 1,29€.
9 - Base de maquillaje 'Stay all day' de Essence en el tono #20 'Soft Nude': La compré para sustituir a la anterior, que está en las últimas. Suelo añadir una gotita a las BB Cream y ahora a la CC Cream para que el color se ajuste mejor a mi tono.
La compré también en Alimerka, sólo que no estaba en liquidación. Me costó 4,89€.
Como veis, son bastantes cosas, pero variadas; no sólo de cosmética.

Two weeks ago, I was walking along downtown (it'd been quite long since the last time), and then I saw a new store (new for me, at least). It caught my attention so much that I couldn't help to go in, and needless to say I had to buy something.
They had very cute stuff.
The store is called Flying Tiger, and it is from Copenhagen.
There were many things for handcrafts, home decor, and even for sports (they had yoga socks and gloves).
This is what I bought.
1- Rosemary loose leaves.
The pouch contains 80 gr. I bought it with my future homemade cosmetics in mind, but I can also make a tea with it. I paid €2.
2- Teaspoon strainer:
My old one had a latch and a chain and the hinge that joined both halves got cracked open beyond repair so I got this as a replacement. The new one has a different tong-like design. Price was €1.
There was a medieval fair some weekends ago.
I spotted it by chance and I couldn't help taking a look. And again, I just couldn't walk out empty-handed. Here's what I got.
3 - Rooibos chocolate and mint tea: The flavour combo seemed interesting enough and I brought this home with me. It was €5.
4 -Natural air freshener.
This one is night blooming jasmine scented (I love how it smells). I had already bought some of them at the medieval fair in Zamora, and I liked it so much that I wanted to try other scents.
It's really long lasting. When the scent becomes less noticeable, you just break the 'stone' into smaller pieces and it will work again.
I paid €2.
5- Tea tree pure essential oil.
Another purchase for my future homemade cosmetics. The bottle contains 10 ml and I paid €12, if I'm not wrong.
6- Under eye cream.
It's made from natural products and is toxic-free.
The jar contains 30 ml and was €10.
I began using it recently and it leaves a very pleasant feeling on the skin of such a delicate area.
Now let's move on to Marox's purchases.

I got this red lipgloss. It has great colour payoff and is fairly long-lasting. I usually apply a bit of lipbalm (EOS) before putting some of this on, so I don't find it drying at all.
In my opinion, there's been a giant leap in quality for Essence's lip products in the last few years.
Like all clearance items, this was marked down to €1.29.

Mis regalos de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts.
Hola, chicas:
Hace poco más de un mes fue mi cumpleaños. Os voy a enseñar lo que me regalaron.
-CD de Sharon Corr (repe).
El primer album en solitario de Sharon Corr, la violinista de The Corrs. Se llama "Dream of You".
Lo que Marox no sabía cuando me lo regaló es que ya lo tenía. No os podéis imaginar la cara que puso cuando se lo dije. Me daba pena y todo. Ella siempre se las ingenia para sorprender con los regalos, y lo hace muy bien. Buscó en mi casa donde sabe que tengo los CDs, y no lo vio. Pero éste lo tenía en otro sitio.
Me dice que lo venda por eBay, que no le va a parecer mal, pero me da cosilla. Lo tengo ahí guardado, junto a "su gemelo".
-DVD "Live in Sao Paulo" de Sharon Corr, de Ebay.
Con éste sí que ha acertado de pleno, porque no lo tenía, y además, han sacado pocas copias de este DVD.
Como os podéis imaginar, ya lo he visto, y la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho.
Además de canciones de sus dos discos en solitario, interpreta temas de The Corrs, que resulta curioso escuchar con Sharon como vocalista.
-Teléfono inalámbrico SPC, modelo TEL317290R. (Amazon)
También me lo ha regalado Marox. Sabía que el otro que tenía empezaba a hacer cosas raras, y que tarde o temprano llegaría el momento de cambiarlo. Así que, otro acierto.
-Reproductor MP3 tipo iPod Shuffle, comprado en Ebay.
Igualito al que Marox se cogió para ella en dorado. No tiene memoria interna, sino una ranura para meter una tarjeta micro SD, que a mí me parece mucho más práctico, porque cuando se estropee el aparato (que esperamos que tarde mucho), no tengo que recuperar todas las canciones.
Los auriculares que trae no me gustan mucho, aparte de por la calidad de sonido, que no es muy buena, porque se me salen y tengo que estar apretándolos continuamente.
-Exfoliante corporal de Giovanni:
Otro regalo de Marox, con el que también ha acertado. Me lo regaló hace tiempo, y sabe que me encantó, así que ha optado por jugar sobre seguro.
-Pijama de verano.
Este ha sido un regalo de mi madre, que sabe que deseché un par de pijamas porque se habían desgastado (o roto) del uso.
He podido estrenarlo antes de que empiece a hacer mal tiempo.
-Botines de Fluchos.
Parece que este año se llevan mucho los botines, y me apetecía tanto tener unos..., que me los he regalado a mí misma.
Tienen una piel muy suave y son comodísimos. Los estoy usando a diario.
Los compré en *esta* zapatería de Zamora. Había una oferta del 50%, así que me costaron 49€. Genial, ¿no os parece?
Lo malo es que eran pares sueltos y mis padres y Marox no se pudieron coger nada porque no había nada rebajado en sus números.
Ventajas de calzar un pie pequeño, jeje.
Bueno, pues estos han sido los regalos que he recibido este año por mi cumple.

-Music CD by Sharon Corr (duplicated!) It's the first solo album by Sharon Corr, violinist from The Corrs, called 'Dream of You'.
What Marox didn't know when she ordered this was that I already had it. You can't imagine the look on her face when I told her it. I felt really sorry for her. She always nails her presents and gets you something you were not expecting. She searched the CD collection at my place and didn't see it. But it turned out I kept this somewhere else.
She insists it's fine to sell it back on Ebay, that she won't feel bad, but I do. I'm keeping it next to its twin.
-'Live in Sao Paulo' DVD from Sharon Corr, from Ebay.
She did hit the jackpot with this one. I don't own this and apparently only a few copies of this were released.
Needless to say I've already watched it and I liked it very much. Besides songs from her two solo albums to date, she performs songs from The Corrs. It feels a bit strange to have her doing the lead vocals on those.
-SPC Cordless Landline phone, model TEL317290R (sold at Amazon): Another present from Marox. She knew that my old one had been acting funny for a while and that one day or another I'd have to chuck it. Another hit from her.
- iPod shuffle Mp3 player dupe, from Ebay: Exactly the same she bought for herself in gold. It doesn't have an inbuilt memory, but a micro SD slot which I think is even more practical. That way, the day it stops working -hopefully it will be a long day from now- I won't have to copy all the songs onto a new one again.
The earphones it came with are no good, not only because of the poor sound they give but because they come loose and I have to keep adjusting them in.
-Body scrub from Giovanni:
Another gift from Marox (she hit the jackpot again). She gave me some time ago, and knew I love it, so she preferred playing safe.
-Summer pyjamas: This was a present from my mum, who knows I said goobye to a few sleepwear items who were too worn out to use. I was able to use them before the cold weather came.
- Fluchos Ankle Boots:
It seems this year ankle boots are in and I really wanted a pair... so this was a happy-birthday-to-me gift. The leather on these is silky soft and they're really comfy. I'm wearing them on a daily basis. I purchased them at a local shoe shop in our hometown, Zamora. They were having an early autumn sale with items 50% off, so I only paid €49 for these boots. Isn't it great?
The downside was that they only had a small selection of sizes available and neither my parents nor Marox could get any, since there was nothing discounted in their size.
The perks of having small feet, lol.
Well, these were my birthday presents this year.
Many happy returns to me and may you be all here to celebrate them with me.

Mis regalos y autorregalos de cumpleaños - My birthday gifts and gifts to self.
¡Hola a todas!
Mi cumpleaños fue a finales de abril, y no es hasta ahora que publico este post. Fatal, lo sé. Pero no doy abasto a más, pero reconozco que desde que tengo el iPad me cuesta horrores encender el ordenador. En el iPad no me apaño para escribir entradas... ¡ya me cuesta responder a comentarios a cuenta del dichoso corrector!
Al lío, os enseño los regalitos que me hizo mi familia en tan señalada ocasión.
1 - Pendientes de plata y oro rosa: Fue el regalo de mis padres, que saben lo mucho que me gusta ir cambiando. No me gustan los pendientes muy ostentosos. Estos me parecen elegantes a la vez que modernos.
Los compraron en una joyería local.
Y ahora le toca el turno a mis autorregalos, principalmente chorraditas varias, con algunas cosillas de cosmética natural:
3- Reproductor mp3 tipo iPod shuffle: El que tenía, también de imitación, decidió morir sin avisar y no pudo ser resucitado.
Aunque había modelos más baratos, decidí comprar éste a un *vendedor español*, ya que así no tendría que esperar un montón a recibirlo. Como véis en la foto, viene con unos auriculares -que no he probado- y un cablecito para cargarlo. A diferencia del anterior, no tiene memoria integrada, pero Marian encontró una micro-sd de un antiguo teléfono. De momento, funciona sin problemas. Me costó 4 euros, con el envío incluído.
4 - Cargador de viaje USB múltiple: A veces, en los hoteles, los enchufes libres en la habitación brillan por su ausencia, así que de este modo puedo cargar varios aparatos a la vez. Pedí dos, por si Marian tiene que gorronear uno. Los he probado y van bien, aunque se calientan un poco. Procuraré estar pendiente cuando los use. Se los compré a *este* vendedor por 3,98 dólares los dos, con envío gratis.
5 - Manteca de karité sin refinar, 500 gr:
Para experimentar con ella un poco. Se pueden hacer productos para el pelo como *éste*, que me vendría bien para el brote de psoriasis y un montón de cosas más. De momento, la he usado tal cual para las manos y los labios, y va muy bien. En las manos, si frotáis un trocito pequeño antes de echaros cualquier crema, notaréis las manos mucho más hidratadas.
Lo compré a *este vendedor* de Reino Unido, así que el envío fue bastante rápido.
Por curiosidad, pesé el tarro y el peso cuadra con lo anunciado.
6 - Aceite de Neem, 30ml: Compré este aceite por los mismos motivos. Tiene propiedades calmantes y cicatrizantes, antifúngicas, calma el picor y enrojecimiento, etc. Tiene un olor bastante fuerte, así que se suele añadir un poquito a otros aceites. De momento, lo he usado en mi uña, si bien es pronto para notar nada y mezclado con un poco de aceite a modo de prelavado capilar.
Lo compré también a un *vendedor* del Reino Unido. Me costó casi 9 euros, sumándole el envío.

De momento, la he usado tal cual para las manos y los labios, y va muy bien. En las manos, si frotáis un trocito pequeño antes de echaros cualquier crema, notaréis las manos mucho más hidratadas.
Lo compré a *este vendedor* de Reino Unido, así que el envío fue bastante rápido.
Por curiosidad, pesé el tarro y el peso cuadra con lo anunciado.
6 - Aceite de Neem, 30ml: Compré este aceite por los mismos motivos. Tiene propiedades calmantes y cicatrizantes, antifúngicas, calma el picor y enrojecimiento, etc. Tiene un olor bastante fuerte, así que se suele añadir un poquito a otros aceites. De momento, lo he usado en mi uña, si bien es pronto para notar nada y mezclado con un poco de aceite a modo de prelavado capilar.
Lo compré también a un *vendedor* del Reino Unido. Me costó casi 9 euros, sumándole el envío.

But I'm afraid I have too much stuff going on right now and ever since I got the iPad I seldom turn on my laptop to write. I cannot for the life of me use the iPad for that, considering I have a hard time replying to comments from it already. Have I ever mentioned that I abhor all sorts of text-completion / predictive text features?
Enough said. Time to show you the presents I got from my family that day.
1 - Rose gold and silver earrings: It was my parents' present. They know how much I like to wear different ones. I've never been into blingy, heavy stuff. These are elegant and yet modern.
They bought them from a local jeweller's.
2 - 4-wheel suitcase, from *Paco Martínez*: I've had my eye on one of this ever since I kept watch of a friend's case for a few minutes. The thing was that I was reluctant to change mine -from the euro store, lol- as it is still in great shape and takes beatings from us (and others) like a pro when we travel abroad. This was Marian's present for me.
And now it's time to show you my 'gifts to self'', mainly cheap knick-knacks as well as some natural skincare ingredients:
3 - Ipod-shuffle knockoff: The one I had, another knockoff of the iPod shuffle suffered an unexpected death and could not be brought back to life.
Although there were cheaper models available, I chose a Spanish seller to spare me the long wait. As you see in the pic, it comes with earphones -which I haven't tested- and a small cable to charge it. Unlike my previous one, this one does not have an in-built memory, but Marian rescued an old micro-sd card from a phone. So far, it's working fine.
I paid 4 EUR, shipping included.
4 - EU travel adapter with 3 USB ports: Spare outlets are a rare commodity in some hotels we've been to. This little thing will make charging several devices easier. I ordered two, just in case Marian feels like borrowing the other one. I've tested them and they work fine, but can get a bit hot after a while. I'll try to stay close when I use them.
I purchased them both from *this seller* for $3.98, with free shipping.
5 - Pure unrefined Shea Butter, 500 gr: I bought it mainly to experiment a bit with it. You do DIY lots of products, such as *this* that looks right to help with my current psoriasis flare-up. So far I've used it as is for my hands and lips. Rub a small piece on your hands before any hand cream and your hands will feel better moisturized. I added a few drops to some oil and applied it to my scalp prior to washing.
I purchased it from this *UK seller*, so delivery was fast as expected.
On a whim I weighed the tub and it matched the purchased amount.
6 - Neem Oil, 30 ml: Bought this for the same reason as the above. It has lots of properties: soothing, helps scars healing, is antibacterial, reduces itching, etc.
It is quite smelly and for that reason is usually diluted in other oils. For now I've only used it on my nail, although it's too soon to tell if it's any effective.
I also bought this from a UK seller, *this* and paid almost €9, after adding shipping costs.
