La entrada de hoy va de compritas tecnológicas. Hace poco os comentaba que tenía un post de compras en el horno. Pues bien, era éste. Espero que no os decepcione, no todo aquí son cosas de belleza, como sabéis.
1- iPad Mini 5, 2019 (marox): Hoy empiezo fuerte, como véis. Mi iPad mini es ya bastante viejito (de primera generación, aunque yo pensaba que era de la segunda) y ya no me deja actualizar el sistema operativo ni alguna aplicación. Aunque funciona muy bien, me ha parecido que era momento de irlo jubilando. Puesto que este año no parece que nos podamos ir de vacaciones, pues he aprovechado para renovarlo.
Y como probablemente en breve nuestros 'ilustres líderes' nos bajen el sueldo, nos suban los impuestos para seguir viviendo ellos como reyes mientras los autónomos, vosotras y nosotros pagamos sus sueldazos, muchos trabajadores no cobran sus ERTE, etc.. me he dado el capricho.
Lo he comprado, nuevecito, por Ebay al vendedor *jurongeast*, por 377,99€, un preciazo, teniendo que en la tienda oficial de Apple cuesta 449€. El vendedor lo ha enviado desde España, aunque es importado puesto que trae enchufe americano (el vendedor incluyó un adaptador, eso sí).
Se trata del modelo más básico, el de 64 GB y sólo Wifi, pero con los precios que manejan los de la manzana, no necesito más. El color, oro rosa, como podéis ver, que encima era el que más me molaba.
El viejo, intetaremos venderlo y así no me duele tanto el bolsillo. Y si no se vende, mi madre ha dicho que lo adopta.
Y relacionado con lo anterior, unas cuantas cositas más.
2 - Funda ZtoTop para iPad Mini 5, de Amazon: Dudé mucho entre qué tipo de funda comprar. Ésta se ve robusta, tiene una goma para cerrar el 'libro' y luego otra a modo de asa en el interior para tenerlo bien sujeto con una sola mano. Es funda inteligente, de las que al abrirla se 'despierta' el dispositivo.
Lo que menos me gustaba es que es algo 'sosa' en comparación con otras que llevan algún detalle: un estampado, colores a elegir, etc.
Precio: 17,99€
3 - Protector de cristal templado para iPad Mini 5, de Amazon: La marca es *JETech* y tenía muy buenas opiniones. No es plan de gastarse los cuartos en el cacharrito y luego tenerlo por ahí desnudito y desprotegido para que sufra arañazos.
Precio: 7,99€
4 - Lápiz inteligente tipo 'Apple Pencil 1' de Aliexpress: También tenía buenas opiniones y además el *vendedor* enviaba desde España, lo mejor en estos tiempos que los envíos desde el extranjero demoran más de lo habitual.
Ni de broma pensaba gastarme los 100 pavos que cuesta el original, teniendo en cuenta que el uso que le voy a dar será ocasional.
El vendedor es AIEACH. Trae una especie de guante, una pequeña funda y el cable para cargarlo.
Me ha gustado que el taponcito que esconde el puerto de carga está imantado. Así no se pierde con tanta facilidad. Tampoco se conecta mediante Bluetooth (así ahorramos batería en la tablet). Para usarlo, sólo hay que encenderlo.
Afortunadamente, a pesar de no ser el original, ha cabido justito en el hueco que tiene la funda para ello.

Some days ago I told you that I was working on a Haul post that was in the works. This is the one. I hope you won't be disappointed. Not everything we post is beauty-related.
1- iPad Mini 5, 2019 (marox): The main act comes first this time, as you see. My iPad mini is an oldie (it's a 1st gen model, not 2nd unlike I thought) and would no longer let me update the OS or some apps. It does work like a charm still but I felt it was a good time to upgrade. Since it doesn't seem we'll be going anywhere on holiday any time soon, I decided to spend some of that money on this.
And to make matters worse, sooner than later our salaries will get the chop, taxes will rise so our useless politicians can continue to live in the lap of luxury while others fail to get paid their temporary dismissals (ERTE in Spanish) and so on... Long story short, I splurged.
I bought it, brand new and perfectly sealed off Ebay to seller *jurongeast*, for €377.99, which is a steal, considering it retails at €449 at the Spanish Apple website. The seller shipped this from Spain, even though it is an imported model (and thus comes with a US plug, but an adapter was kindly included).
It is the basic model, with 64 GB and Wifi-only, but given how pricey anything by the 'fruit company' is, this is more than enough for me, honestly. It is the rose-gold model as you see, which happened to be the one I was digging anyway.
We'll be listing the old one, so my pocket doesn't hurt that much. If doesn't sell, my mum offered to take it in.
And related to the previous purchase, here are a few more things.
2 - ZtoTop case for the iPad Mini 5, from Amazon: It took me a while to decide what case to get. This is very sturdy, has an elastic so you can keep the 'book' closed and then another strap inside to have a firm grip on the iPad with a single hand. It is a smart cover, one of those where the device 'wakes up' upon opening.
What I didn't like was the fact that it looks a bit 'meh' when compared to others that are more colourful or have some sort of pattern, come in different colours, etc.
Price: €17.99
3 - Tempered glass screen protector for the iPad Mini 5, from Amazon: The brand is *JETech* and had top reviews. It would be silly to splurge on the device but then keep it bare and unprotected against scratches and so on, wouldn't it?.
Precio: €7.99
4 - Smart Stylus, similar to the Apple Pencil 1, from Aliexpress: It did have great reviews and in addition, the *seller* shipped from Spain, the best thing these days considering the delays international shipments have.
There was no way I was going to spend €100 on the real thing, since I will only use this occasionally.
The store's name was AIEACH. It does come with an odd-looking glove, a small case and the charging cable.
I really like the fact that the cap is magnetic, making it more difficult to lose. It does not connect via Bluetooth (thus saving battery). All you need to do is press the power button and you're good to go.
Luckily, even if it's not the real name-brand stylus, the slot the case had for it fits this alternative one as well.
Price: $15.09.
