POTW / PDLS: Deliplus #891

¡Hola chicas!

¿Qué tal lo lleváis? Por aquí parece que en unos días pasaremos a la fase 2, pero incluso ahora ya se nota que la ciudad poco a poco retoma el ritmo y hay más vidilla en las calles.
El tiempo de momento no es todo lo bueno que cabría esperar, pero puesto que ando corrigiendo y haciendo exámenes, casi lo prefiero.

Hoy quiero enseñaros mi primera pedicura de la temporada. Lo cierto es que compré este esmalte hace ya bastante, en otoño creo y he tardado en usarlo puesto que el color me parecía más adecuado para el verano o el otoño. Recuerdo que el año pasado, en 2018, tuvieron un tono similar, pero cuando quise hacerme con él se había agotado.

La única referencia al tono es el número 891 en letra muy pequeña en la parte trasera del bote. Eso, y que parece ser de una gama de secado en un minuto.
Buscando más *información*, veo que se lanzó en agosto de 2019.
Al ser de la marca *Deliplus*, sólo se venden en los supermercados españoles Mercadona.

Ignoro si todavía estará a la venta, aunque lo dudo. 

Me pareció un tono perfecto para las uñas de los pies. Aunque aún no me he puesto sandalias, me alegra verme las uñas coloridas en la ducha. Llamadme tonta.

Creo recordar que apliqué una capa de base de Essence y dos de este esmalte. Cubre bastante bien aunque hay que tener cuidado de que no queden marcas.

Al usarlo en las uñas de los pies, la duración es siempre buena.

How is it going, girls?

Over here we're supposed to enter the second stage in the lockdown-easing measures. But even now, you can feel that the city is slowly recovering its pace and it is much livelier.
The weather isn't as good as you would expect, but since I'm marking exams and testing students I prefer it that way.

Today I want to share with you my first pedi this season. The truth is I bought this polish some time ago - in the autumn I think- and it's taken me a bit to use it. I thought the shade was more fitting for the autumn or summer. They did have a similar shade in a previous collection in 2018 but by the time I decided to get it, it was sold out or no longer available.

The only reference to any shade is the number 891 in really small print at the back of the bottle. That and the fact that it seems to be part of a 1-minute, quick-drying line.
After searching the web for more *info* on these, they were launched in August 2019.

It is by the brand Deliplus and as such is exclusively sold at *Mercadona* supermarkets in Spain.
I have no idea whether this is still available but it's unlikely.

I thought it'd be the perfect shade for a pedi. Although I haven't taken out my sandals yet, seeing my toenails in a colourful shade brings a smile to my face. Even if I only get to see them in the shower. Call me silly.

I seem to recall I applied a coat of an Essence basecoat and two of this shade. The colour payoff is fairly good, but you need to be a bit more patient on application to prevent streaking.

Since I used this for a pedi, wear time is always good.

Compras varias / Sundry Haul 2020 (II)

Aquí estamos de nuevo, para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Champú 97% natural de Deliplus (marox): Ya teníamos este champú en casa de mis padres. Para ser sin SLS hace espuma y es agradable de usar. Compré otro para tener yo durante la cuarentena, ya que me gusta tener varios champús y suelo ir alternando. Contiene extractos de tilo, salvia y cedro. Cuesta 1,95€

2 - ManteK Mar Muerto de Deliplus (marox): Tenía un par de ellas en casa de mis padres, pero claro, por entonces no estaba con ellos pasando la cuarentena y de poco me servían. De momento, sólo la he probado en la mano y parece agradable.
Cuesta 3,80€

3 - Gel de ducha 98% Natural de Deliplus (marox): Este sí que no lo he probado, aunque por lo que tengo entendido está muy bien también. Cuesta 1,50€

4 - Recambio cepillos Deliplus (compatibles con Oral B) - (marox): No los he probado aún. Cuestan 3.95€



5 - Esmalte Wet n Wild 'Stay Classy' (marox): Pertenece a la linea 1 Step Wonder Gel. Lo compré en un hipermercado Lupa que me queda muy cerca del piso donde estoy viviendo este curso, aprovechando que salí a hacer la compra semanal. Precio: 2,99€
En breve tendréis una manicura con este esmalte.

6- Champú L'Oreal Elvive de jojoba (Marian).
Se me estaba terminando el champú sólido que compré en Druni, y compré éste en Alcampo.
Lo elegí por su grado de hidratación y nutrición, pues el pelo rizado tiende a ser bastante seco.
Lo he probado ya, y la verdad es que me ha gustado mucho. Me ha dejado el pelo con mucho brillo.

 7 - Revista Glamour mayo (marox): Ha sido la única que he comprado este mes de momento. Las demás no traían regalo o no habían llegado aún. Al igual que en meses anteriores, la revista en sí muy pobre de contenido. Hay folletos de tiendas con más información.

Here we are again, to show you our latest purchases.

1 - Deliplus -Mercadona 97% Natural Shampoo (marox): We have this one at my parents'. Surprisingly for an SLS-free shampoo, it does lather nicely. I bought another one for myself during the lockdown, since I like to rotate the ones I have. It contains lime blossom, sage, and cedar extracts. It retails for €1.95

2 - Deliplus ManteK Body Butter (marox): I have a few TBS body butters at my parents' but they were obviously of little use there to me, as I wasn't spending lockdown with them back then. So far I've only tested this on the back of my hand and seems good enough.
It retails for €3.80.

3 - Deliplus 98% Natural Shower Gel (marox): I haven't used this one yet, but it does have positive reviews. It retails for €1.50

4 - Deliplus electric toothbrush heads (Oral B compatible)-(marox): Haven't tested them yet. They retail for €3.95

5 - Wet n Wild nail polish in the shade 'Stay Classy' (marox): It is from their 1 Step Wonder Gel line. I bought this from a local hypermarket that happens to be a stone's throw from where I'm living this year -and initially quarantining- in my weekly outing to go grocery shopping. This retailed at €2.99. Expect a mani with this shade real soon.

 
6- Jojoba shampoo from L'Oreal Elvive (Marian).
I was about to finish the shampoo bar I bought at Druni, so I purchased this one at Alcampo.
I chose this one for its high nutrition, as curly hair tends to be quite dry.
I've already used it, and I like it much. It leaves my hair shiny. 

7 - Glamour magazine May (marox): It's the only one I got this month so far. The others either didn't make it to my kiosk just yet or didn't have any interesting freebies. As for the magazine itself, really poor when it comes to the content. Some chain store magazines may be more informative than this.

Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (I)

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Colonia 'Magic Chic' de Deliplus (Mercadona): Hablaban muy bien de esta colonia por Internet. Creo que ya tiene un tiempo. Como tengo un par de body sprays a punto de terminarse, pues los sustituiré por ésta. Se la encargué a Marian, que tenía que ir al supermercado Mercadona a por unas cosillas. Es baratita, como 2 o 3 euros y trae 300ml. El envase es reutilizable, al ser un plástico tipo 5.
Alguna gente decía que el olor recordaba al de la colonia Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice.

 2 -Desodorante Dove sin aluminio: Lleva extractos de té verde y pepino. De vez en cuando me gusta probar algo sin aluminio que se encuentre en supermercados y que no se tenga que comprar al extranjero por internet. Comprado en Primaprix, por 1,55€.

3 - Mascarilla puntos negros Revox (marox): La compré en Arenal, para sustituir a otra coreana que ya estaba en las últimas y que costaba mucho extender.
De momento la he usado sólo una vez y va bien. Apliqué una capa finita de mascarilla en la nariz, entrecejo y barbilla y retiré con  cuidado unos minutos después, cuando se secó.
Ya no recuerdo el precio.

4 - Revista Glamour Febrero (marox): Le tenía echado el ojo desde que anunciaron el regalo el mes pasado. Me llevé una sorpresa para bien, ya que no creí que fuera a traer una crema de manos en formato 100ml. La crema hidrata genial las manos, aunque el olor tan... raruno no es que me entusiasme.
También disponible la variedad de rosa inglesa y de karité. Tentada estoy de pillar alguna más, ya que en tienda cuestan 12€.

5 - Revista Cosmopolitan mini, Febrero (marox): Por ese precio, no está nada mal. Los cascos, sin tener una calidad brutal, como es lógico, se escuchan bastante bien y resultan útiles para ver videos en la tablet o el móvil en casa.

6 - Mascarilla hidrogel Pure & Care, de Primaprix: La vi otras veces en la tienda, pero valía casi 5 euros y como que no estaba dispuesta a pagar tanto por un tratamiento que en principio es de un sólo uso (aunque a veces podamos aprovechar la esencia sobrante). La última vez que estuve en la tienda costaba 1,95€, un precio mucho más normal. La composición parece bastante buena. Todavía no la he utilizado, pero cuando lo haga, tendréis mis impresiones en algún post de Terminados.

Here we are again to show you our latest purchases.

1 - Eau de Toilette 'Magic Chic' from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): I heard several people raving about this online. It's not a new release. I have a couple body sprays on their last legs and this will replace them when the time comes. I asked Marian to get it for me, since she had to go there to grab some other groceries. It's very affordable, about 2 or 3 euros and contains 300ml. The bottle can be repurposed after use, as it is a type-5 plastic.
Some people commented the scent reminded them of Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice.

2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant: It contains green tea and cucumber extracts. Every now and then I like to try aluminium-free deodorants that can be found on supermarkets or drugstores, that you don't have to order online from abroad.
I bought this at a local Primaprix discount supermarket for €1.55.

3 - Revox Blackhead peel-off mask for marox:  I bought this at a local drugstore, Arenal, to replace a Korean one that was on its last legs and that I had a really hard time spreading.
So far, I've only used this once and works fine. I applied a thin coat on my nose, between my brows and on my chin and then peeled it off when it dried out.
I don't remember the price.

4 - Glamour magazine, February issue (marox): I had my greedy eye on this ever since they announced what the next freebie would be. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the hand cream came in the large 100ml tube. This cream provides excellent hydration for dry hands, despite the... erm... funky smell. Also available were the British rose and Shea range. I'm tempted to grab some more, as these retail at €12 in store.

5 - Cosmopolitan Pocket edition, February issue (marox): Not too bad for the price. The headphones are decent enough and are handy to watch videos on your tablet or smartphone at home.

6 - Hydrogel face mask 'Pure & Care', from Primaprix: I'd seen this on previous trips to the shop but was about 5 euros and I wasn't that eager to try it and fork out that much on a treatment that is supposed to be single use -even if you can sometimes use the remaining essence the next day-. The last time I was there it was priced much more affordable, at €1.95. The ingredient list looks quite good too. I haven't tested this yet, but no worries, I'll give you my two cents about it in an Empties post when the time comes.

Productos Terminados #62 / Finito products #62.

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros lo que hemos terminado últimamente.


1 - Jabón vainilla brulée de The Body Shop: Compré este jabón en su web hace ya tiempo y lo he ido alternando con otros productos en mi ducha diaria. Hace bastante espuma y tiene un suave olor a vainilla muy agradable.

2 - Esmalte 'Knockout Red' de la marca 17 (marox): Quise usar este esmalte para hacerme una manicura para despedir el año y resultó imposible abrirlo, ya que el esmalte se había secado.
Creo recordar que lo recibí en un intercambio. Otros que tengo de esta marca de momento siguen bien.

3 - Crema de baba de caracol de Scinic: Compré esta crema para nuestra madre, aunque ocasionalmente la hemos usado también nosotras. A mí me resulta un poco densa, pero no con la sensación grasienta de otras cremas. Para variar, le he comprado una crema de Innisfree de la línea de orquídea que ya ha empezado a usar.

4 - Perfilador ojos Deliplus en azul (marox): Muy seco, incluso desde el principio. Suelo preferir los perfiladores automáticos, por aquello de que no hay que andar sacándoles punta, pero desde luego éste de Deliplus es horrible.
No hace falta gastar mucho para encontrarlos mejores: los de Essence dan muy buen resultado.

5 - Prebase de ojos de RivalDeLoop: La compré allá por la prehistoria de este blog, en nuestro viaje a Berlin. Puesto que esta marca no se vende en España y salvo que un alma caritativa te haga con ella, la he sustituido por otra de otra marca.
Con el paso de las horas, sí que me saca pliegues, pero me pasa igual con la nueva.

Here we are again to show you what we've used up lately.

1 - Vanilla Brulée TBS soap: I bought this long ago on the TBS website and I've been using it on and off with other stuff. It lathers nicely and has a lovely soft vanilla scent.

2 - 'Knockout Red' nail polish from the brand 17: I'd meant to use this in my New Year's Eve mani but I couldn't as it had dried out and opening it was impossible.
If memory serves I think I got this as part of a swap. The other varnishes I have from this brand are still good to use.

3 - Scinic Snail Matrix Cream: I bought this cream for our mum, although we've both used it occasionally. I found it a bit heavy for my liking, although it is not greasy as others out there. For a change, I got her a different one from the Innisfree orchid range which she's already using.


4 -Deliplus Eye Pencil in blue (marox): This was incredibly dry, from the very beginning. I usually favor automatic pencils over traditional ones, as no sharpening is needed. However, this pencil from the Spanish supermarket Mercadona's house brand is just terrible.
Not that you have to break the bank to find a nice eye pencil, as the ones from Essence work like a dream.



5 - RivalDeLoop's Eye Shadow Base: I bought it a lifetime ago, right before we started this blog with our trip to Berlin. Since this brand is not available in Spain and your chances of getting your hands on this solely depend on some kind soul getting it for you, I had to find an alternative.
It creased on me after about 6 hours, but the same thing happens with its replacement. 

Well, these have been our empties so far.

Productos terminados #55 - 'Finito' products #55.

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Mascarilla facial de rosa mosqueta de Ziaja (Marian).
He estado utilizándolo una vez a la semana después de exfoliarme la piel, como mascarilla de hidratación. Me gusta más usarla por la noche.
Este sobrecito me ha dado como para 4 ó 5 usos.
Mi piel debe de estar muy deshidratada, porque prácticamente absorbía todo el producto. Aun así, lo aclaraba bien con agua templada.




2- Mascarilla capilar de aguacate de Alverde (Marian).
Fue otra petición que hicimos a nuestra poticamella Carlilla.
Esta en concreto se puede usar antes del lavado, o después.
Yo siempre la uso después.
Aunque no necesita aclarado, yo sí que me aclaro el cabello.

3- Manteca corporal de karité de The Body Shop (Marian).
Creo que de las que he probado hasta ahora, es la más hidratante.




Voy a reutilizar los tarros de la mascarilla y la manteca. Me estoy empapando mucho en internet sobre la cosmética casera, y empezaré a hacer mis pinitos.
Ya os contaré los resultados.

4- Pasta de dientes Jasön (Marian).
La pidió Marox a Vitacost, junto con otra para ella.
Está libre de fluoruros, sulfatos y otros ingredientes poco saludables.
Tiene propiedades blanqueantes y antiplaca.
Me ha resultado muy agradable de utilizar. Tiene una textura muy similar a otras que podemos encontrar, y con un sabor muy fresco.
El único inconveniente es que la tapa del envase no cerraba bien. En ese sentido prefiero los tapones de rosca, aunque quizá sean menos prácticos.
Ahora estoy utilizando la de Abuelita Ceiba, con la que de momento estoy muy contenta.
No me importaría repetir con la de Jasön.

5- Mascarilla facial de cítricos Deliplus (Marian).
Tiene propiedades revitalizantes y purificantes, sin dejar la piel reseca, gracias a la arcilla blanca, cosa que me ha gustado mucho.
Con este sobre he tenido para 5 ó 6 usos.

Bien, estos han sido nuestros terminados hasta ahora.

Hi ladies,

Here we are one more time ready to share with you what we've used up these days.

1 - Ziaja Rosehip face mask (Marian):
I've been using this mask once a week after exfoliating, as a moisturising mask. I prefer to use it at night.
This sachet was good enough for 4 or 5 uses.
My skin must be really dehydrated, as my skin seemed to drink the product. Even so, I washed it off with lukewarm water.

2 - Avocado hair mask from Alverde (Marian): It was another request to one of our readers in Germany, Carlilla.
This mask is a multitasking product, which can be used before or after shampooing your hair.
I always use it afterwards. It doesn't need to be rinsed, though I do it all the same.




3 - TBS shea butter body butter (Marian): I think this has to be the most moisturing of all the TBS butters I've tried to date.

I'm going to be reusing the tub of both the mask and butter. I'm reading and learning a lot about DIY skincare and will soon give my first steps.
I'll let you know how that turns out.

4- Jasön toothpaste (Marian).
Marox ordered it from Vitacost, together with another one for her.
It's free of SLS, fluoride and other unhealthy ingredients.
It has whitening and antiplaque properties.
I think it's very comfortable to use.
It's texture is similar to others we can find, and it has a fresh taste.
The only con is the cap of the tub, because it didn't close properly. I prefer screw caps instead, even though they seem less practical.
Now I'm using Abuelita Ceiba toothpaste, which I like very much at the moment.
But I wouldn't mind repurchasing the one from Jasön again.




5- Deliplus citrus fruits face mask (Marian).
It has revitalizing and purifying properties, but without that dry feeling on your skin, thanks to white clay. I like it very much.
This sachet was good enough for 5 or 6 uses.

Productos terminados #44 - 'Finito' products #44.

Aquí estamos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1- Desodorante "Nature" de Deliplus (Marox). Tenía este desodorante en Zamora y he hecho todo lo posible por gastarlo durante el verano. Lo cierto es que inicialmente me pareció horrible, pero al darle una segunda oportunidad, no me pareció tan malo. ¿Será porque ahora soy más sabia o será casualidad? Ni idea.
En cualquier caso, de momento no lo compraría puesto que tengo otros de Vitacost pendientes de probar.



2- Manteca corporal "Chapter 03" de Perfumerías If (Marox). Como el anterior, estaba en mi baño de Zamora y he hecho lo posible durante mi última estancia allí para acabarlo. Lo cierto es que es de lo más normalito y en cuanto a hidratación, nada del otro jueves. Tiene una textura tipo mousse que sí que es original, pero a pesar de que fue barata, me quedo cien mil veces con las mantecas de The Body Shop.


3- Champú Kallos con omega 6 y aceite de macadamia (Marian).
Lo compré en Fapex, y aunque la mayoría de las veces lo he usado como primer champú (para usar después el de Bubbly, jeje), alguna vez lo he utilizado solo. Debo decir que me ha gustado bastante el producto. Deja el pelo limpio, pero no lo reseca. Supongo que será por el aceite de macadamia.
Lo que menos me ha gustado es el formato.
Es un bote enorme, con un tapón bastante poco práctico. Al cogerlo con las manos mojadas, se me ha resbalado bastantes veces.
No descarto repetir con la marca, porque sus productos están a muy buen precio, pero buscaría otro formato.

4- Contorno de ojos Scinic (Marox). También lo tenía en nuestra otra casa, pero lo he acabado usando aquí. Si no necesitáis un contorno antienvejecimiento, ésta es una buena opción. El tubo contiene 30ml, el doble de los contornos de ojos del mercado.
No lo he vuelto a comprar, puesto que me ha gustado más el de baba de caracol -que no veáis qué bien va para regenerar la piel irritada de la nariz por un catarro.
Lo compré por Ebay y creo que no sube de 10 dólares.

5- Discos desmaquillantes Iseree (Marox). No soy partidaria de gastar mucho dinero en esto, puesto que es algo que se gasta rápidamente. Suelo comprarlos de marca blanca si son de buena calidad y vienen ribeteados. Éstos lo están y van bastante bien, así que si se os han terminado y vais a comprar al LIDL, compradlos.

Bueno, esto ha sido todo por el momento.

Here we are again with a new review about the stuff we've used up recently.

1- 'Nature' deodorant from Deliplus (Marox).
 I had this back home in Zamora and I've done my best to use it up during the summer. When I first bought and used it I thought it was craptacular but didn't find it that bad now. Is that because wisdom comes with age and I'm now a little bit more... experienced or is it just coincidence? Idk.
Anyway, I won't repurchase for now as there are others I need to try that I ordered from Vitacost.

2- 'Chapter 03' body butter, from If Parfumeries (Marox). Another thing that was gathering dust in my bathroom in our hometown and that I made a real effort to use up while I was there.
Despite the low price, it's nothing to write home about and is very meh in terms of moisture, so I'll no doubt stick to my beloved TBS body butters, thanks.



3- Omega 6 and macadamia oil shampoo from Kallos (Marian).
I bought it at Fapex / Beautyspin (UK / US), and though I've used it for a first hair wash (and then use the Bubbly one afterwards, lol), I've also used it on its own.
I quite like this product. It leaves my hair clean, but not dry. I guess it will be due to the macadamia oil.
But what I don't like at all is the packaging.
It's an enormous bottle... with a screw-top.
When I hold it with in the shower with my wet hands, it has fallen down many times.
I wouldn't mind to purchase this brand again, because their products are very reasonably priced, but I would choose a different format.

4- Gel eye cream from Scinic (Marox). I also kept this at our other home but eventually used it up here. If you're not really looking for an eye cream with antiaging properties, this is a good choice. The tube contains 30 ml, twice the size of eye creams available here.
I haven't repurchased, as I like the snail one better -which incidentally is also great to repair the peeling skin around your nose when you have a cold.
You can find this on Ebay at less than $10.



5- Cotton discs from Iseree (Marox). I'm not one to spend a lot on something as basic as this as you'll soon run out of them if you use them on a daily basis, so I consistently buy the supermarket's own brand as long as they're decent enough and are backstitched and these are. So you find yourself without any and happen to be at a LIDL, add them to your shopping cart.

Productos terminados #42 - 'Finito' products #42.

Aquí estamos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente, y un producto tecnológico que a Marox le da mucha pena tener que incluir en esta sección.

1- Muestra gel de baño Ziaja (Marox).
Nos dieron esta muestra en una visita a Beauty Gloss, la tienda local que vendía Catrice y que por desgracia cerró. La utilicé en un viaje reciente. Me gustó, aunque con tan poca cantidad lo poco que recuerdo es que me dio la sensación de que no hacía demasiada espuma.



2- Body spray "Love Spell" de Victoria's Secret (Marian).
Lo he estado usando después de la ducha, y tiene un olor que me encanta. Ya sabéis que me encantan este tipo de productos, así que siempre procuro tener alguno de repuesto.
Ahora mismo estoy usando el "Sheer Love", también de Victoria's Secret, y la verdad es que no sabría deciros cuál de los dos me gusta más.

3- Aceite desmaquillante "Gold Progress" de Deliplus.
Es un aceite un poco denso que desmaquilla muy bien, aunque no finalizamos con este tipo de productos nuestra rutina de limpieza. Siempre usamos después un jabón facial para eliminar posibles restos, y sobre todo, para no dejar sensación grasa en el rostro.



4- Champú "Smooth as Silk" de Giovanni (Marox). Lo compré hace bastante tiempo en iHerb -también lo tenéis en Vitacost, así que tantead precios- y lo cierto es que va muy, muy bien. Hace espumita, huele muy bien y hace olvidar el hecho de que no es un champú al uso (por lo de estar llenito de químicos). Merece la pena probarlo y no me importaría repetir. Marian también lo ha usado alguna vez.

5- Desmaquillante de ojos casero (Marox).
Ante todo, que no os despiste el envase de Yves Rocher. Fue de otro desmaquillante que tuve de esa marca, y decidí aprovechar el envase, lavándolo muy bien, obviamente.
Todavía quedaba un poco de producto, como veis, pero tenía un aspecto extraño, y después de tanto tiempo sin utilizar..., hemos decidido tirarlo.
Preferimos el agua micelar para retirar el maquillaje de ojos.



6- Cámara Olympus SP500UZ (Marox). Quise utilizar esta cámara, que tenía en casa muerta de risa desde que probé las compactas, para sacar fotos del concierto de Roxette de este verano... con tan mala suerte que le había dejado unas pilas dentro y se sulfataron. Intentamos Marian y yo limpiar el compartimento de las pilas con distintos métodos, sin éxito. Ya está en el punto limpio, descansando en paz.

Here we are again with a new review of the stuff we've used up recently, and a technology product that Marox sadly has to include in this section.

1- Shower gel sample from Ziaja (Marox).
We got this as a freebie with some purchases at the local Catrice retailer, that unfortunately closed down a while ago. I used this on a recent trip and I liked it. With such a small amount, my only memory is that it was nice though didn't seem particularly lathering.

2- 'Love spell' body spray from Victoria's Secret (Marian).
I've been using it after showering and I love its scent. You know how I love this kind of products, so I always try to have another one for backup.
I'm using 'Sheer Love', also from Victoria's Secret these days and I couldn't really tell you which one I like the most.



3- 'Gold progress' make-up remover oil from Deliplus.
It's a quite thick oil-based remover and it does the job well, though these are never the last step in our cleansing routine.
We always use a facial soap to get rid of any remaining makeup, as at the same time soap does leave a greasy feeling on the face.

4- 'Smooth as Silk' shampoo from Giovanni (Marox). I bought this a while ago off iHerb -though it's also available from Vitacost, so make sure you compare prices- and the truth is it's a really, really nice product. It lathers great, smells nice and makes you forget the fact you're not using a regular shampoo (in the sense that is not chemical-laden). It's worth trying and I wouldn't mind buying this again. Marian tested it as well a few times.



5- Homemade eye make-up remover (Marox). First things first, don't be fooled by the Yves Rocher bottle. I reused it, sanitized it and put our homemade makeup remover in said bottle. There was still some product left, but as you can tell from the picture, it looked kinda gross after being unused for a while and that was my cue to throw it away.
We've now turned to micellar cleansing water instead to remove our eye makeup.

6- Olympus SP500UZ digital camera (Marox). I meant to use this camera, that was gathering dust at home after getting my hands on point-and-shoot ones, to snap my pics with at the Roxette concert this summer... but it turns out I had left a set of batteries inside and they eventually leaked. Marian and I both did several attempts at cleaning the battery compartment without success. It's already at the local household waste recycling centre. RIP.



These have been our 'empties' so far.

Papá Noel se ha portado muy bien con nosotras.
Aquí os enseño los regalos que he recibido.

1- Flash Yongnuo 565EX para Nikon:
Este ha sido un regalo de Marox, que como siempre, sabe cómo acertar. Dice que es su "regalo estrella".
He conseguido bajarme un manual de instrucciones en español (supongo que en inglés me apañaría, pero mejor en mi lengua materna).
Creo que le sacaré mucho partido, para las fotos que ilustran este blog.
Se sincroniza muy fácil y su manejo es bastante intuitivo. Funciona con cuatro pilas normales e incluye una fundita que parece de buena calidad. Tiene función TTL, que es la que utilizo de momento.
Lo compró en Amazon.es y tardó sólo un par de días en llegar, así que supongo que lo tendrían en stock.

2 - Libro 'English for Nursing, Intermediate+'.
Hace muchos años hice un curso de inglés para enfermería, pues tuve pensado irme a Reino Unido a trabajar, porque aquí la cosa estaba... chunga. Afortunadamente, al final no tuve que emigrar.
Marox sabe que en alguna ocasión me ha tocado hacer de intérprete con algún paciente angloparlante, así que pensó que éste podría ser un buen regalo. Hay que refrescar la memoria.
Además del libro, me ha regalado también un diccionario monolingüe para enfermería.
Se supone que es para llevarlo en el bolso, pero es bastante "gordete". Como lleve más cosas en los bolsos, me van a reventar, jeje.
Los compró en Amazon.

3 - Peine con espejo.
Este es otro regalo que me ha encantado. Las púas de colores me parecen monísimas. Por detrás tiene un espejo (superútil). El mango es de goma y tiene un tacto muy agradable.
Me parece perfecto para llevar de viaje. Lo compró por Ebay, junto con otros dos. El suyo vino bastante espachurrado -aunque usable- y le devolvieron parte del precio.



4 - Paleta "MaquíllaT Flash Nude" de Deliplus. Por lo visto es un clon de la Naked 3.
Marox sabe (y vosotras, también) que la paleta "Undressed" de MUA ha sido una de mis favoritas en 2014.
Así que ha decidido que no me quede sin una paleta de colores neutros para cuando se me acabe la anterior. Pero bueno, obviamente la estrenaré antes y ya os comentaré qué me parece. Seguro que le sacaré mucho partido.

5 - Pack de colonias "Lady Rebel" de Mango.
Incluye las colonias "Dance Queen" y "Rock Deluxe" en tamaño de 30 ml cada una.
La primera tiene un olor más suave, como más para diario, y la segunda me parece más para ponértela para salir por la noche, por ejemplo. Aunque creo que las usaré indistintamente, según me apetezca.



6 - Body sprays de Victoria's Secret.
La verdad es que este regalo no me lo esperaba por nada del mundo, pero Marox lee muuy, muy bien entre líneas.
Los vimos cuando estuvimos en Estocolmo, los olimos (cómo no) y nos encantaron.
Los elegidos han sido "Love Spell" (morado), y "Sheer Love" (rosa).
Solamente los he probado, pero ya puedo adelantaros que el olor perdura mucho más tiempo en la piel que con los de Deliplus o Les Cosmetiques, que son los que he probado hasta ahora.
Los compró en *Fapex*, poco después del Black Friday (de haberlo pedido entonces se habría ahorrado el envío). El pedido viene de la República Checa e incluía una muestra a elegir (un acondicionador frente a un champú para el pelo). Quedó contenta con el servicio -admiten Paypal-.

Como veis, Marox me ha regalado un montón de cosas, y ha acertado con todas ellas, como siempre. Además, siempre consigue sorprenderme. ¿Cómo lo hará?

A continuación, os enseño lo que me han regalado mis padres.

Se trata de estos pendientes de oro con aguamarina. Son muy discretos y sientan fenomenal, para llevarlos a diario tranquilamente.

También me han regalado esta pulsera de plata, con cierre de seguridad.
Es muy discreta, así que la llevaré muy a menudo.

Por último, os enseño lo que me he autorregalado.
Se trata de un parasol de día y noche para el coche. Sí, como el que sale por la tele..., pero mucho más barato. Digamos que por lo que cobran en la tele por uno, yo me he pedido tres (para mí, para mi hermana y para mis padres), y he pagado los gastos de envío de todos ellos. No os digo más.
Lo compré por eBay a *este* vendedor.

Bien, estos han sido todos los regalos de Navidad de este año. Muchos, no me puedo quejar. Será que he sido muy buena este año ;-).

Ya nos contaréis lo que os ha traído Papá Noel (o los Reyes Magos).

Santa has been really good to us this Christmas. Here are the presents I got.

1 - Yongnuo YN-565EX flashlight for Nikon: This was from Marox, who time and time again knows how to ace presents. She said this was her 'main present'.
I was lucky enough to download the instructions manual in Spanish, though I think I'd do with the English one all the same.
I think I'll be using this a lot in my photos for this blog.
It was easy enough to pair and is very user-friendly. It is powered by 4 AA batteries and comes with a decent carry case. It has TTL, which is the mode that I'm using so far.
She purchased this at Amazon.es and shipping only took a couple of days, so they probably had it in stock.

2 -'English for Nursing' Intermediate +, Cambridge University Press: Many years ago I took a course in English for nurses because I'd planned to go to the UK to work there. Work conditions here at the time were not ideal... kind of like today. Luckily I didn't have to emigrate after all.
Marox knows that I've had to act as an interpreter at work every time we've had a patient from abroad and thought this could make a good present. It'll help me brush up my English.
Besides the book, she also got me a Nursing English dictionary that is supposed to be a pocket one, though it's way too bulky to carry in my scrubs pockets. Otherwise they'll burst at the seams, lol.
She bought them at Amazon.



3 - Comb with mirror: Another gift I loved. The colourful bristles are too cute and the mirror at the back is very convenient. The handle is rubbery and feels nice to touch.
It seems perfect for travelling.
She ordered this off Ebay, together with another two. The bristles on hers were squashed -though still usable- and she got a partial refund from the seller.

4 - 'MaquillaT Flash Nude' eyeshadow palette from Deliplus. It's supposed to be a dupe of the Naked 3 palette.
Marox knows (and so do you, too) that the 'Undressed' eyeshadow palette from MUA is one of my favourites this 2014.
She therefore decided that there was no need for me to be without one once I've used the other one up. But obviously, I'll be using it before that time and giving you my thoughts about it. I'll surely make the most of it.



5 - Set of perfumes 'Lady Rebel' by Mango.
It includes the colognes 'Dance Queen' and 'Rock Deluxe' in a 30ml bottle each.
The first one has a softer scent, more appropriate for a daily use, whereas the second one seems perfect for clubbing.
I think I'll use them interchangeably, though.

6 - Victoria's Secret Fragrance Mists.
To be honest, I wouldn't have expected this gift for dear life, but Marox is really, really good at reading between the lines.
We saw them while in Stockholm, we sniffed them (of course), and we loved them.
The ones she chose for me are 'Love Spell' (purple), and 'Sheer Love' (pink).
I have merely tested them, but I can tell you that their longetivity on the skin is longer than in others like those from Deliplus or Les Cosmetiques that I've tried so far.
She purchased these at Fapex, soon after Black Friday (had she placed her order then, she would have saved the shipping).The order came originally from the Czech Republic and included a sample you could choose (she chose the conditioner over the shampoo). She was pleased with the service there, as it accepts Paypal.





As you see, Marox has given me a lot of gifts, and has succeeded with them all, as usual.
Besides, she always surprises me. How does she do it?

Next I'm going to show you the gifts from my parents.

They gave me these gold earrings with aquamarine that are very understated and look great. They're perfect for everyday wear.



They also gave me this silver bracelet, with a safety chain. It's very discreet, so I'll be wearing it very often.



And lastly, my gift for myself. 
It's this day/night visor for my car. Yes, like the one on TV... but a lot cheaper. Let's say that with the price of one of those on the homeshopping channel, I've bought three (for myself, my sister and my parents) and paid shipping for them all too. Nothing else to add.
I ordered them off Ebay from *this* seller.

Well, these were all my Christmas gifts this year. They're quite a few, so I can't complain really. Maybe I've been very good this year. ;-)

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products #32.

Aquí estamos con una nueva reseña de los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 - Cabezal 'Oral B Floss Action' (marox): Este cabezal está diseñado para ejercer una acción similar a la que se consigue con el hilo dental. Como véis ya estaba viejillo, así que lo he sustituído por uno del tipo 'Dual Clean'. Como ya hemos comentado en otras ocasiones, tenemos la suerte de hacernos con ellos a buen precio en el mercadillo local.



2 - Cabezal "Oral B Trizone" (Marian).
Fue el primero que probé, y la verdad es que me gusta mucho. Tiene la forma de los cepillos de dientes convencionales. Quizá por eso el paso al cepillo eléctrico se me hizo menos raro.
Ya sabéis dónde compramos estos cabezales.
Tengo más de este tipo, y repetiré con él, por supuesto. Pero también me gusta alternarlo con otros tipos.

3 - Mousse fijador de Deliplus para cabello rizado (Marian).
De los productos de fijación para el cabello que podemos encontrar a precio asequible, éste es el que más me gusta.
Como dicen los anuncios, fija sin apelmazar, y deja los rizos definidos.
Aunque tengo pensado hacerme con el tamaño grande del Potion 9 de Sebastian que Marox me dejó probar en su día, no quiere decir que éste no me haya gustado.



4 - Sérum "Oro líquido" con aceite de argán, de Deliplus (Marian).
He estado usándolo en las puntas, después de lavarme el pelo. Lo deja brillante, y sin sensación grasa. Me ha encantado este producto, y no descarto repetir con él.
Marox ha reutilizado el bote para otros fines.

5 - Body spray "Flor de naranjo" de Deliplus (Marox): Aún le queda un poquito, como véis en la foto. Lo cierto es que la que más usa estos productos es Marian y a mí me suele dar bastante pereza. No me suelo acordar de sacarlo del cajón o estantería para usarlo después de la ducha. Está bien pero tampoco me ha entusiasmado.




6 - Manteca labial "Yes to carrots" de menta (Marian).
Como veis en la foto, aún queda producto.
Lo que pasó es que se me ocurrió roscarlo hasta el final para ver cuánto me quedaba, y cuando quise volver atrás, fue imposible.
No lo podía tapar, se rompía la "bala"..., en fin, que llegó el momento de tirarlo.
La verdad es que me ha gustado mucho.
El toque de mentol se nota, pero no es molesto, porque no dura mucho rato.
Hidrata bien los labios. No descartaría repetir con él.

Bien, estos han sido nuestros productos terminados hasta el momento.

Here we are with a new review about the stuff we've used up recently.

1 - 'Oral B Floss Action' brush head (marox): This is designed to provide similar effects to flossing. As you can tell from the pic, mine was ready for the glue factory, so I replaced it with a different brush head, a 'Dual Clean' one. As we've mentioned in previous posts, we are lucky to find these at a really great price at our local street market.

2 - 'Oral B Trizone' brush head (Marian).
It was the first one I tried, and I really like it. It reminds me of traditional toothbrushes. Maybe that's why I've found it easier to brush my teeth with an electric toothbrush.
You already know where we buy these brush heads. I have more of these and of course I'll repeat with it. But I also like to use other types in between.



3 - Styling mousse for curly hair from Deliplus (Marian).
Among all the hair styling products that we can find at a reasonable price, this one is what I like the most.
Like in an advertisement, it holds your locks in place without the stiffness and leaves your curls defined.
Though I'm thinking of getting the large size of the Potion 9 from Sebastian, like the one that Marox let me try once, this doesn't mean that I don't like this one.

4 - 'Liquid gold' serum with argan oil, from Deliplus (Marian).
I've been using it on the tips of my hair, after washing it. It leaves it shiny, but without a greasy feeling. I like it very much, and I wouldn't mind getting it again.
Marox has already repurposed the spray bottle it came in.



5 - 'Orange blossom' body spray from Deliplus (Marox): There's still a teeny weeny amount left, as you can see. The truth is that Marian is a bigger fan of these body sprays in general than myself. I seldom remember to get it out of the cabinet or drawer to use after the shower. It's a nice product but didn't blow my mind.

6 - Mint lip butter from 'Yes to carrots' (Marian).
As you can see in the pic, there's still some product left.
I came up with the idea of twisting it all the way up to see how much product there was to be used, but when I tried to twist it back down it proved completely impossible.
I couldn't cap it, the 'bullet' broke..., so anyway, no other choice but to throw it away.
I like it a lot.
You can notice that 'touch' of mint, but it's not overpowering at all, because it doesn't last.
It does a great job at moisturizing the lips. I wouldn't mind repurchasing.
