Compras varias acumuladas / Sundry Haul 2019 (I)

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos de nuevo para enseñaros nuestras últimas compras.

1 - Colonia 'Magic Chic' de Deliplus (Mercadona): Hablaban muy bien de esta colonia por Internet. Creo que ya tiene un tiempo. Como tengo un par de body sprays a punto de terminarse, pues los sustituiré por ésta. Se la encargué a Marian, que tenía que ir al supermercado Mercadona a por unas cosillas. Es baratita, como 2 o 3 euros y trae 300ml. El envase es reutilizable, al ser un plástico tipo 5.
Alguna gente decía que el olor recordaba al de la colonia Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice.

 2 -Desodorante Dove sin aluminio: Lleva extractos de té verde y pepino. De vez en cuando me gusta probar algo sin aluminio que se encuentre en supermercados y que no se tenga que comprar al extranjero por internet. Comprado en Primaprix, por 1,55€.

3 - Mascarilla puntos negros Revox (marox): La compré en Arenal, para sustituir a otra coreana que ya estaba en las últimas y que costaba mucho extender.
De momento la he usado sólo una vez y va bien. Apliqué una capa finita de mascarilla en la nariz, entrecejo y barbilla y retiré con  cuidado unos minutos después, cuando se secó.
Ya no recuerdo el precio.

4 - Revista Glamour Febrero (marox): Le tenía echado el ojo desde que anunciaron el regalo el mes pasado. Me llevé una sorpresa para bien, ya que no creí que fuera a traer una crema de manos en formato 100ml. La crema hidrata genial las manos, aunque el olor tan... raruno no es que me entusiasme.
También disponible la variedad de rosa inglesa y de karité. Tentada estoy de pillar alguna más, ya que en tienda cuestan 12€.

5 - Revista Cosmopolitan mini, Febrero (marox): Por ese precio, no está nada mal. Los cascos, sin tener una calidad brutal, como es lógico, se escuchan bastante bien y resultan útiles para ver videos en la tablet o el móvil en casa.

6 - Mascarilla hidrogel Pure & Care, de Primaprix: La vi otras veces en la tienda, pero valía casi 5 euros y como que no estaba dispuesta a pagar tanto por un tratamiento que en principio es de un sólo uso (aunque a veces podamos aprovechar la esencia sobrante). La última vez que estuve en la tienda costaba 1,95€, un precio mucho más normal. La composición parece bastante buena. Todavía no la he utilizado, pero cuando lo haga, tendréis mis impresiones en algún post de Terminados.

Here we are again to show you our latest purchases.

1 - Eau de Toilette 'Magic Chic' from Deliplus (Mercadona supermarkets): I heard several people raving about this online. It's not a new release. I have a couple body sprays on their last legs and this will replace them when the time comes. I asked Marian to get it for me, since she had to go there to grab some other groceries. It's very affordable, about 2 or 3 euros and contains 300ml. The bottle can be repurposed after use, as it is a type-5 plastic.
Some people commented the scent reminded them of Anaïs Anaïs Premier Delice.

2 - Dove aluminium-free deodorant: It contains green tea and cucumber extracts. Every now and then I like to try aluminium-free deodorants that can be found on supermarkets or drugstores, that you don't have to order online from abroad.
I bought this at a local Primaprix discount supermarket for €1.55.

3 - Revox Blackhead peel-off mask for marox:  I bought this at a local drugstore, Arenal, to replace a Korean one that was on its last legs and that I had a really hard time spreading.
So far, I've only used this once and works fine. I applied a thin coat on my nose, between my brows and on my chin and then peeled it off when it dried out.
I don't remember the price.

4 - Glamour magazine, February issue (marox): I had my greedy eye on this ever since they announced what the next freebie would be. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the hand cream came in the large 100ml tube. This cream provides excellent hydration for dry hands, despite the... erm... funky smell. Also available were the British rose and Shea range. I'm tempted to grab some more, as these retail at €12 in store.

5 - Cosmopolitan Pocket edition, February issue (marox): Not too bad for the price. The headphones are decent enough and are handy to watch videos on your tablet or smartphone at home.

6 - Hydrogel face mask 'Pure & Care', from Primaprix: I'd seen this on previous trips to the shop but was about 5 euros and I wasn't that eager to try it and fork out that much on a treatment that is supposed to be single use -even if you can sometimes use the remaining essence the next day-. The last time I was there it was priced much more affordable, at €1.95. The ingredient list looks quite good too. I haven't tested this yet, but no worries, I'll give you my two cents about it in an Empties post when the time comes.

Productos Terminados / 'Finito' Products 2019 (II)

Hola, chicas:

Aquí estamos para enseñaros los productos que hemos terminado últimamente.

1 - Desodorante Queen Helene:  Nos gusta utilizar desodorantes sin aluminio. Estos son bastante económicos, aunque hay que  comprarlos por Internet, en Vitacost o iHerb.
No son tan efectivos como los desodorantes tradicionales, pero claro, también son más sanos.

2 - Mascarilla tissú Holika Holika de Açai: Venía súper impregnada, tanto que me ha sobrado esencia como para 4 veces más. Cerré el sobrecito con una pinza y lo guardé en el frigorífico para conservarlo bien.

3 - Mascarilla nocturna de Laneige: Me ha durado bastante, ya que recomiendan usarla de 1 a 2 veces por semana. He ido alternando esta mascarilla con otros productos.
Lo cierto es que está muy bien. Es de esos productos coreanos que merece la pena probar, aunque sea sólo una vez.
De momento no repetiré, porque tengo en uso una de Narukö y tengo mascarillas de tissú también por gastar.
Podéis encontrarla en multitud de tiendas online, aunque yo la compré por Ebay.

4 - Mascarilla tissú de rosa de Innisfree: Me ha gustado mucho. Con razón es una de las mascarillas de este formato más populares. Si bien con otras marcas he notado frescor e hidratación, con ésta también he sentido un efecto tensor. Sobró también esencia para un par de días más.

5 - Esmalte base 'Nail Envy' de OPI (marox): Aunque todavía quedaba como la mitad del bote, se había espesado. Eso no es lo peor: las últimas veces que lo he usado, con distintos esmaltes, me ha sacado un montón de burbujas en las manicuras, así que sintiéndolo mucho, se ha ido directo a la basura.

6 - Bálsamo limpiador casero (marox): Fue un regalo de Marian. Aunque acababa de comprar uno coreano, decidí utilizar éste primero al no llevar conservantes. Lo cierto es que ha aguantado bien sin estropearse. La textura es bastante aceitosa y cuesta un poco repartirlo, pero ha cumplido su función. Como envase aprovechó el del bálsamo desmaquillante de TBS.

7 - Bálsamo labial Biocura (Aldi): Es una lástima que aquí no haya Aldi, porque tienen algunos productos muy apañados, como éstos bálsamos labiales. Vienen en un paquete de 3 y creo que no llega a 2€. Solemos aprovechar cuando estamos en nuestra tierra para acercarnos hasta Aldi y hacernos con algunos de sus productos.

Here we are again to show you our latest empties.

1 - Queen Helene deodorant: We like to use aluminium-free deodorants and these are quite affordable. The downside is that you need to order them online, from stores like Vitacost or iHerb.
They're not as effective as traditional deodorants, but since those are not as healthy I guess it's better this way.

2 - Holika Holika Açai Sheet Mask: This came super drenched in essence, to the point that I had leftover serum for 4 more applications. I used a clothes peg to close the pouch and kept it in the fridge to make sure it was good to use.

3 -  Laneige Sleeping Pack: This has lasted quite a long time, since the recommended use is once or twice a week. I used other things as well.
I honestly really enjoyed trying this. I'd say it's one of those K-beauty items you should try at least once.
I won't repurchase for now, as I'm currently using another one from Narukö and have several sheet masks to use too.
Available from countless online stores, I got mine off Ebay.

4  - Innisfree Rose Sheet Mask: I truly enjoyed this one. It's a bestselling sheet mask for good reason. Whereas with others I could feel my skin feeling fresh and moisturized, this one gave me a tightening effect too. There was enough leftover essence for two more applications.
 

5 - OPI 'Nail Envy' Basecoat (marox): Still half full, it had thickened out. The worst thing is that the last few times I used it, regardless of the polish I used on top, it created a gazillion tiny bubbles on that.
Needless to say, I had to throw it away.

6 - Homemade Cleansing Balm (marox): Marian made this for me, even though I had just bought a Korean one. Since hers did not have any preservatives, I decided to use that first. Truth be told, it has held up without going bad. It is a bit oily and harder to spread than store-bought ones, but it did the job.
The container was a recycled one from TBS's cleansing balm.

7 - Biocura lipbalm from Aldi: It sucks that there's no Aldi here, since they have a handful of skincare items worth trying and repurchasing, like these lipbalms. These come in a 3-count and are less than €2. We usually grab some stuff from Aldi whenever we are in our hometown.

Manicura Essie / Essie Mani #08 'Loving Hue'

Hoy me gustaría enseñaros la última manicura que he lucido.
He utilizado un esmalte 2 en 1 de tratamiento de Essie que compré en *Primaprix* y que ya no sé si os he enseñado o no.
Me costó 4,95€ y es el primer esmalte que tengo de esta marca.
Se trata del esmalte 'Loving Hue' de la línea Treat Love & Color. Contiene 13,5 ml y está fabricado en España.



Como base, apliqué una capa del Nail Envy, que definitivamente voy a desechar porque me ha vuelto a dejar burbujas. Apliqué dos capas finas de este esmalte. Sequé entre una y otra con la lámpara, aunque no es un esmalte de gel. Por último, una capa del topcoat de Revlon, que me está funcionando bastante bien. De hecho, me rocé dos uñas un poco y se ha alisado sólo, sin añadir más producto.
La pena, que me han salido un montón de burbujas en la manicura. Parece que es un esmalte 'efecto suede', pero como digo, jubilaré el Nail Envy.

Como apreciaréis en las fotos, contiene pequeños brillos dorados que sí que se notan en la uña. Podría haber aplicado otra capa de esmalte para que se viera más opaco, pero me gustó cómo quedaba así. 

Esta manicura me duró 5 días. Tenía varias uñas desconchadas y sin ser peel-off, conseguí despegar el esmalte de varias uñas como si fuera una pegatina.

Y como es una entrada cortita, os dejo con una foto de regalo de Molly y Luna, que de vez en cuando pasan unos días juntas. Por si os preguntáis si se llevan bien, pues os diré que así-así, Molly le suele echar unos buenos bufidos -a ella y a nosotras- aunque tienen ratos en los que cada una va a su aire y la tolera.

Today I'd like to share with you my latest mani. 
I used a 2-in-1 treatment polish from Essie that I bought at Primaprix, a discount supermarket. I honestly can't remember if I've shared that in a Haul or not.
I paid €4.95 and it's my first Essie product. 
It is shade 'Loving Hue' from their Treat Love & Color. The bottle contains 13.5 ml and is made in Spain.


As a base I used a coat of Nail Envy, which will sadly be in an Empties post shortly as it creates lots of bubbles on whichever polish you get on top. I applied two thin coats of this Essie treatment polish. I dried every coat under the lamp, even if this was not a gel polish. On top I applied some Revlon topcoat, which is working great for me lately. You see, I hit my nails a bit and the polish smoothed itself out, without any further coats.
The only downside is that I got a ton of bubbles. I looks like one of those suede polishes, but I know Nail Envy is to blame for this.

As you will probably be able to tell from the pics, the polish does have small golden flecks that do show up on the nails. I could have done with another coat to make it more opaque, but I liked how it looked as it was.

I wore this mani for 5 days. The polish on several nails had peeled off, even though it was not a peel-off polish. I managed to get the polish off that way on several nails.

And since this was a short post, here's an extra picture of Molly and Luna, who get to hang out every now and then. In case you're wondering how they get on, I'd say so-so, as Molly regularly grunts and hisses at her -and us- but then she tolerates her when she's not too close for comfort.

Manicura navideña en verde y dorado / Green and gold Xmas mani

Aquí vengo dispuesta a enseñaros, con bastante retraso la manicura que lucí en Navidad. Como no os la enseñe ahora, dentro de nada ya no tendrá sentido hacerlo.
Al menos el tiempo acompaña, con estas primeras nieves que estamos teniendo estos días. 

Me duró exactamente una semana puesta. Apliqué una capa de base para uñas de gel (de Aliexpress), dos finitas de los dos esmaltes y terminé con el esmalte de acabado en gel, también de Aliexpress. Sequé cada paso en la lámpara. Iba con prisas y no me quedó todo lo bien que me habría gustado. Al día siguiente, me di un golpe en una uña, que se rompió e hizo saltar un trozo de esmalte. ¡Mira que me da rabia cuando me pasa eso!
Cuando me las retiré justo una semana más tarde, estaban ya bastante perjudicadas. Las que había pintado de dorado con el esmalte de China Glaze seguían perfectas, eso sí.

  El esmalte verde os lo enseñé hace poco en un haul. Lo compré en Druni por un euro.

Espero que a pesar del retraso, os haya gustado la manicura. ¿Soy la única a la que le cuesta seguir un ritmo coherente de subidas?

At long last, here's my Christmas mani. At this rate, I'd be showing this in July and that would be beside the point, wouldn't it?
At least the weather is the same. We're having the first snowfall of the season these days. 

Anyway... I wore this mani for a week straight. I applied one coat of the gel base from Aliexpress, two thin ones of both polishes and finished it off with a coat of a gel topcoat, also from Aliexpress.
I dried every coat with a UV lamp. I was in a hurry and it didn't turn out as neat as I intended. The next day I hit my finger and a piece of polish chipped just like that.
Don't you hate it when that happens?
I took this mani off exactly a week later, as they had quite a lot of damage already. I have to say that the nails I painted with the gold China Glaze polish were still looking great.

The green polish was featured in a recent Haul. I got this at a Spanish drugstore, Druni, for only €1.

I hope you liked the mani, despite my tardiness in posting it. Am I the only one struggling to have a logical posting schedule?

Mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad - My Christmas gifts and gifts-to-self.

¡Hola, chicas!

En primer lugar, Feliz Año a todas.
En esta entrada os voy a enseñar mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad.

1 -Esponjita limpiadora de AliExpress:
Marox compró dos de éstas, para que yo también la pruebe.



2- Bolso de Vendula.
Fue un regalo de mis padres..., que lamentablemente han tenido que devolver, porque el cierre de mosquetón para colgar el bolso en bandolera no funciona bien.
Es una pena, porque es una preciosidad.
Tiene aplicaciones cosidas y bordados, y es totalmente vegano.

3- Mascarillas de tisú de cosmética coreana y mascarilla para pies.
De todas las que veis, he estrenado ya la de esencia de arroz, y por alguna extraña razón me han salido granos.
Es como si el acné juvenil hubiera vuelto. ¡Horror!





4- Perfume "Lovely" Sarah Jessica Parker.
Marox siempre acierta con los perfumes. Eso que para comprarlos se guía de reseñas en internet. A mí me daría un poco de miedo.
Huele fenomenal. Lo usaré cuando gaste el que estoy usando ahora, que también me regaló ella.

5- Funda de cojín "Leica" de AliExpress.
Otro acierto hecho regalo. Como sabe que me encanta la fotografía, pensó que sería una buena idea. Ya le he puesto el relleno y está decorando mi sofá.



6- Fular.
Como tiene el fondo blanco, es muy combinable, así que seguro que lo usaré mucho. Lo estrenaré cuando no haga tanto frío.

7- Gel de ducha herbal de Iceveda.
Lo compró en Primaprix.
Aún no lo he estrenado.



Ahora vamos con los autorregalos. Han sido 3 cosillas de nada.

1- Calcetines con dibujo de gato.
Con el dibujo y las orejitas. Me parecen una monada. Todavía no los he estrenado.
Los compré en AliExpress.

2- Salvabolsillos de enfermera.
Lo compré en "Enfermera en Apuros", que tiene un montón de artículos de esta temática. Ya lo he estrenado. Resulta muy útil para que no se caigan los bolis y para pasarlos de un uniforme a otro. Además, si se me vuelve a explotar un boli, el uniforme no se echará a perder. Me costó 6€.

3- Pinza para tarjeta identificativa.
También con temática enfermera.
Lo compré en AliExpress.
En la foto podéis ver todos los modelos disponibles. Yo elegí el primero de la segunda fila. Me costó 1,21€ (gastos de envío incluidos).

First of all, let me wish you all a happy new year. In today's blog I'd like to show you the presents I got from others and those that I bought myself.

1 -  Cleansing puff from Aliexpress: Marox got two of these so I could try that too.

2 - Handbag: It was a present from our parents... that we had unfortunately to return. The carabiner hook in the shoulder strap came loose. It was a real pity because really pretty. It had sew-on applications and embroidered parts, and it was fully vegan too.



3 - Assorted Korean Sheet masks and foot mask: From the ones you see, I used the rice essence one and for some reason it broke me out.
It was like my teenage acne was making a comeback. Yikes!




4 - SJP Eau de Parfum: Marox always nails it when she gives me a perfume. What's even  harder is that she makes her decision based on online reviews. I would be scared of failing, honestly. It does smell lovely and will use it once I finish the one I'm currently wearing, which was another gift I got from her.



5 - Camera print cushion cover from Aliexpress: Another hit. She knows how much I enjoy photography and thought it would be a cool gift. I have put some filling and it's already sprucing up my couch.

6 - Scarf: It's very wearable, thanks to the white background, so I'll be using that a lot. I'll wait until the weather's warmer to wear this.



7 - Iceveda herbal shower gel: She got this from a local discount supermarket, Primaprix. Haven't used it yet.

Now, I'm showing you my gifts-to-self.
Just a few things.

1- Cat print socks.
Not only they have the ears, but also the print.
They are super cute, don't you think?
I haven't used them yet.
I bought them from AliExpress.

2- Nurse pocket-saver.
I bought it at 'Enfermera en apuros' (Nurse in trouble) online store, which sells a huge amount of nurse-related stuff.
I have already used it. I find it very useful to prevent your pens from falling down, and mainly, when you change uniforms.
Besides, if I ever have another 'pen burst', my uniform won't get ruined. I paid €6 for it.

3- ID card Clip.
It's also nurse-related.
I got it from AliExpress.
You can see in the pic all the models available. I chose the first one from the second row. I paid €1.21 (including shipping costs).

Mis regalos y autorregalos de Navidad / Christmas presents and gifts-to-self

¡Hola guapas!

¿Qué tal lleváis la vuelta a la rutina? La verdad es que los primeros días siempre cuestan. Aunque yo no me puedo quejar de vacaciones, siempre me llevo trabajo a casa.

Hoy me gustaría enseñaros los regalos que he recibido por Navidad, así como las cosas que me he autorregalado.
Comienzo con los autorregalos. 

1 - Potion 9 de Sebastian de 150ml: Aprovechando el pedido que hice a Notino por BlackFriday con cosas para regalar, me cogí el tamaño mediano de este producto capilar que tanto nos gusta a Marian y a mí. Aunque nos gusta también la crema de peinado de Desert Essence, nos gusta alternarla con otros productos, como es el caso de éste.
Lo tenéis en Notino por 16€. Os recuerdo que recibiréis un pequeño reembolso por vuestra compra entrando a través de *Beruby* o *Shoppiday*.

2 - Tangle Teezer the Ultimate: Lo compré en Amazon en BlackFriday, no porque tuvieran ninguna promoción especialmente buena, sino porque tenía que comprar un regalo allí que sí salía mejor de precio que en otras webs. Lo tenéis también en Notino, aunque un poco más caro. Me costó 11,02€
Me producía curiosidad este cepillo, lo han usado alguna vez en la peluquería -la versión normal sin mango- y me desenredó el pelo bastante rápido y sin tirones.
Yo preferí hacerme con éste, con mango, ya que me resulta más fácil de manejar así.
Lo hay en rosa/blanco también, si lo preferis.


3 -Disco de limpieza de Aliexpress: Disponible en varios colores, yo opté por el más sufridito. Compré dos, para que Marian también lo probara. Llevo usándolo un par de semanas y de momento estoy contenta con él. Aquí os dejo el *enlace* del vendedor.

 

4 -Cd 'Only in my mind' de Norma Jean Martine: Os sonará porque se lo regalé a Marian hace un tiempo. El caso es que lo ví de segunda mano en Ebay muy baratito -no llegó a 3€- y lo eché a la cesta, jeje.
Vimos a *esta artista* en directo en Londres, como telonera de The Corrs.

5 - Cd 'Small Town Talk' de Per Gessle: Como buena fan de Roxette, no podía dejar pasar la ocasión de hacerme con su último trabajo en inglés, grabado en Nashville, y que recopila en inglés sus últimos dos discos en sueco. Lo pedí por Ebay, que me salía más barato que por Cdon o Amazon.Por cierto, que sospecho que la tienda para Europa de Cdon ha cerrado. Mi***a.



6 - Parches de hidrogel para ojos de rosa búlgara de Koelf: Tenía ganas de probar un producto similar y éste es de los más económicos y tenía muy buenas reseñas. De momento sólo los he usado una vez y sólo puedo decir que no se mueven en absoluto, algo muy a su favor. Los pedí por Ebay, al vendedor *f2plus1*. Me costaron 8,88€.


Regalos de mis padres - Además de dinero, nos regalaron lo siguiente:

1 - Bolsos: Uno con una foto impresa de Luna y el otro, bastante más caro y que es de lo más original, que compraron en *Zenz*, una tienda de regalos con cosas muy chulas de Zamora. Por desgracia, lo tenemos que devolver porque la correa se suelta continuamente. Me ha dado mucha rabia porque era una monada. Os dejo el enlace del *fabricante* para que veáis qué otras cosas tienen.

 

2 - Plumífero: Me estaba fallando la cremallera del que suelo usar. Como nunca está de más tener una prenda de este tipo de sobra, me regalaron ésta. Lo compraron en otra tienda de Zamora.

No abriga tanto como el otro, así que lo reservo para ir al trabajo en coche. 

3 - Pendientes artesanales: Los compramos en una feria que suelen poner aquí por Navidad, en la plaza de la catedral. Os dejo el enlace a su *página web* para que veáis qué más hacen. Me gustó mucho el toque de oro que tenían. Creo que usan polvo de oro para hacerlos.

Y termino con los regalos de Marian:

1 - Jersey rojo y negro de *Koroshi*: Es una tienda que nos gusta mucho, ya que tiene prendas del estilo de Desigual, pero a precios mucho más normales. Además, siempre suelen tener alguna oferta, de 3x2, un 20% o algo.
Ya lo he estrenado. Es bastante gordito, ideal para estos días de frío. 



2 - Antifaz para dormir de Women' Secret: Me vendrá muy bien en los viajes. En el extranjero, nunca hay persianas y me gusta que esté la habitación oscura para dormir.

3 - Calcetines con forma de gatito: Son tan monos con sus orejitas, que me dará pena usarlos. Pero para eso son, ¿no?
Creo recordar que los compró en Aliexpress.

How's the rentrée? The first few days are the toughest, aren't they? I honestly can't complain about how much holidays I have, but days off for me always imply taking work home with me.

Today I'd like to share with you the presents I got for Christmas, as well as those I bought myself, which is what I'll show you first.

1 - Sebastian's Potion 9, 150ml: Trying to make the most of my BlackFriday Notino order that included some presents for others, I treated myself to the medium-sized bottle of this hair styling product both Marian and myself like so much.
We do like the Dessert Essence curl styling cream too, but we like to use other things every now and then.
This retails at €16 on Notino. Remember that you'll get some cashback off your order by accessing the site through *Beruby* or *Shoppiday*.

2 - Tangle Teezer the Ultimate: I got this off Amazon on BlackFriday, not because they had any doorbuster deals or anything, but because there was something else I had to order there that was cheaper than from other stores. You can get this on Notino as well, but it was a tad more expensive there. I paid €11.02
I was really intrigued by this brush, they've used it on me a couple times at the hairdresser's -the regular version with no handle- and it did a great job at detangling my curly hair without noticeable pulling.
I chose this model instead, as the handle makes it more practical to use.
There's a two-tone pink and white version of this brush too. 

 3 - Cleansing puff from Aliexpress: Available in several colours, I picked the one that would show dirt less. I ordered two so Marian could try it too. I have been using this for a couple of weeks and so far, so good. Here's the *link* to the seller I got them from. 

4 - 'Only in my mind' by Norma Jean Martine: You may remember this album, as I bought another copy for my sister a while ago. Here's the thing: I saw a used copy for a steal -not even €3- on Ebay and I got myself another copy.
We saw *her* live in London as one of the supporting artists for The Corrs.

 

5 - 'Small Town Talk' Cd: No worthy Roxette fan would go without this album, a compilation in English of his 2 latest solo records in Swedish that he recorded in Nashville. Ordered this off Ebay, as it cheaper than both Cdon or Amazon. Incidentally the EU shop for Cdon appears to have closed. Sh**.

6 - Koelf hydrogel eye patches with Bulgarian rose: I found eye patches intriguing and these are some of the most affordable and have great reviews. I've only used them once so I can only say they don't budge, which is very commendable. Got them off Ebay, from the seller *f2plus1*. They were €8.88.

 

Presents from my parents - Besides money, we also got the following.

1 - Handbags: One with a picture of Luna when she was still a kitten and the other one, very unique, that was a lot more pricy. Got them from two different local stores in our hometown. Here's the link to the *manufacturer* so you can check out what else they have.  Unfortunately we had to return that as the shoulder strap got undone all the time. It was a bummer, because it was cute beyond words.

2 - Anorak: The zip on the one I had was acting funny and it never hurts to have a backup, so they got me this.  Again they bought this in our hometown, from a local shop.
It's not as warm as my old one, so I'm wearing this to commute to work. 

3 - Handcrafted glass earrings: We got this at a crafts fair that is always on the Cathedral square every Christmas. Here's the link to their *website*, poorly translated into English, just to give you an idea of what else they make.What drew me to these was the hint of gold they had. Apparently they use gold powder to make them.

And last but not least, here's what I got from my sister.

1 - Red and black sweater from *Koroshi*: This is a store we like very much. Their stuff has that Desigual vibe at a fraction of the price. Besides, they always have some sort of deal, 3 for 2, 20% off or something like that.
I've worn this already and is the right thickness for this cold weather spell we're having. 

2 - Sleep Eye Mask from Women' Secret: It will come in handy for travelling. Abroad you won't find any roller blinds on windows and I like to sleep in a fairly dark space.



3 - Cat socks: These are the cutest thing ever with the tiny ears and all. I'll probably feel bad wearing them but that's what socks are for, aren't they? I think she got this from Aliexpress.

Productos terminados 2019 / 'Finito' Products 2019 (I)

Hola, chicas:

 ¡Feliz año! Esperamos que hayáis disfrutado de las fiestas en compañía de familia y amigos y que hayáis aprovechado para descansar un poco también.

Hemos decidido renombrar las entradas de los productos terminados indicando el año. Ya íbamos por más de 60 y ya se iba haciendo un poco pesado llamarlas así. A partir de ahora pondremos el año y luego parte 1, 5 ó la que sea.

1 - Spray corporal Body Fantasies 'Pink Sweet Pea' (marox): Creo que es el segundo que gasto. Lo compré en el supermercado Alimerka. Los tienen siempre en el mueble de Essence, en la parte donde deberían estar las ediciones limitadas.

2 - Mascarilla tissu 'My Juicy Bottle Mask Aqua' de Scinic (marox): Vino de regalo con un pedido de cosmética coreana de Ebay. Venía súper impregnada, tanto que escurrí un poco la mascarilla y sobró esencia para usar dos veces.
Me resultó agradable de usar. Se quedó en su sitio mientras veía la tele. En cuanto a resultados, noté la piel hidratada y suave.

3 - Agua micelar Garnier (marox): Creo que es el segundo bote que gasto. Va muy bien, no escuecen los ojos (que es para lo que lo suelo gastar) y retira bien el maquillaje. De momento no repetiré porque tengo uno de Lidl recién empezado y porque el último ingrediente, el Polyaminopropyl biguanide, es algo controvertido.

4 - Contorno de ojos Scinic con baba de caracol (marox): Ya sabéis lo mucho que me gusta esta marca. Aunque tengo repuesto ya empezado, compré hace poco otro de otra marca con la idea de usar uno por el día y otro por la noche.

5 - Perfume 'Cool de Saphir' (marox): La compré en verano, sin saber si se correspondía con algún perfume de marca. La usé bastante los primeros días y luego me olvidé de ella, hasta que me propuse gastar lo que quedaba. Mi madre la ha usado alguna vez también y le ha gustado.

Y ahora un par de muestras, de esas que vamos acumulando por alguna extraña razón y que luego no solemos usar. Considerarlo, la continuación de los propósitos de año nuevo.

1 - Champú Kerastase Cristalliste (marox): Es para cabello grueso y el mío es fino. Me dió para tres usos. Sí que noté el pelo más brillante. De no ser porque son caros, los champús de esta marca están muy bien. Estoy usando uno para cuero cabelludo sensible que va bastante bien también.

2 - Ziaja crema hidratante de día de manteca de rosa (marox): No la he usado sola, sino que la he mezclado con mi CC Cream, para que se extienda mejor. Creo que fue un regalo con una compra. Me parece que para usarla sola es demasiado espesa y no creo que la compre algún día. 
Debo decir que por lo general, Ziaja es una marca que no me ha entusiasmado. 

Estos han sido los productos que he terminado últimamente. Da gusto ir terminando cosas, la verdad.

Happy New Year! We hope you made the most of the holiday season and spent some quality time with your friends and family, as well as find the time to unwind.

We've decided to rename our Empties posts, starting with the new year. They will all list the year and then part 1, 5 or whatever. We'd written over 60 of this and the title sounded a bit long and cumbersome to keep track of.

1 - 'Pink Sweet Pea' Body Fantasies Body Spray (marox): I think this is the second one I use up. I got this from a local supermarket, which keeps them on the Essence display where LEs are meant to be.

2 -  Scinic My Juicy Bottle Mask Aqua (marox): This was a recent gift with purchase from a K-Beauty order off Ebay.  The cotton mask is drenched in essence, so much that I squeezed it a bit and had enough essence left for two applications.
It was pleasant to wear and didn't fall out while I watched TV. My skin felt moisturized and supple afterwards.

 

3 -  Garnier micellar cleansing water (marox): I think this was my second bottle. It does the job very well, doesn't sting my eyes  -which is mainly where I use it- and removes your makeup well enough. I won't repurchase for now, as I got another cleansing water from Lidl that I have just started to use and because the last ingredient, Polyaminopropyl biguanide is quite controversial.

4 - Scinic Snail Matrix Eye Cream (marox): You know my love for this brand. I have began to use my backup, although I just got a different one. I intend to use one in the morning and the other at night.

5 - 'Cool de Saphir' fragrance: I bought this in the summer, not really knowing if this was a dupe for something else. Liked it at first but then forgot about it until I made a point to use up what was left of it. My mum used this occasionally too and said she liked it.

And now let me give you my first impressions of several samples I used. I tend to collect them but seldom use them, something I'm slowly trying to change. Consider that a New Year's resolution that I intend to continue sticking to.

1 - Kerastase Cristalliste Shampoo (marox): I got this with an order, I believe. This is supposed to be for thick hair and mine is fine, but I did notice my hair being shinier. I stretched the sachet and used it three times. Were it not for the price, Kerastase shampoos are very good. I currently have one from the brand on rotation that is for sensitive scalp and it does work.

2 -  Ziaja Rose Butter Day cream (marox): I haven't used this on its onw, but mixing a bit with my CC Cream so that spreads easier. I think it was a gift with purchase. I feel it would be too rich for me to use on its own and I don't think I'd get it.  
To be honest, there's something about the brand that I don't get, as I feel it's nothing to write home about.  

So these were my first Empties of the year. One can't help to be proud to use stuff up.
