Aquí vengo de nuevo con una reseña del último libro que he leído hasta ahora.
Resumen:
Barcelona, 1945. El pequeño Daniel Sempere llega a El Cementerio de los Libros Olvidados de la mano de su padre. Allí escoge un libro llamado "La sombra del viento", escrito por el misterioso Julián Carax, e investigando un poco descubre que todos sus libros han sido quemados por uno de los personajes del libro.
La trama se desenvuelve en la embrujante ciudad de Barcelona donde junto a su amigo Fermín intentarán descubrir la verdad que envuelve a un enigmático ser que a toda costa intenta enterrar el pasado de Julián Carax. Una novela de suspense que intenta mezclar lo real con la fantasía. Daniel debe descubrir el misterio que rodea a Julián y todo lo que ello conllevará, aunque al intentar encontrar en el pasado pistas que le digan quién es el misterioso escritor, pueda correr peligro su vida...
Es un libro cuya trama me enganchó desde la primera página.
Hacia la mitad del libro me resultó más complicado seguir la historia, debido a la cantidad de nuevos personajes que van apareciendo. Según avancé en la lectura, fui entendiendo la relación que tenían unos con otros.
Llegando al final de la historia, no podía parar de leer. ¡Es trepidante!

Barcelona, 1945. A man brings his 10-year-old son Daniel Sempere to the 'cemetery of lost books'. Daniel is allowed to choose one book from the shelves and pulls out 'The Shadow of The Wind', a book written by the elusive Julian Carax. After some searching, Daniel discovers that this man's work has been burned by one of the characters in the book.
The story is set in the bewitching city of Barcelona, where he and his sidekick Fermín will try to unravel the story behind that enigmatic character that will do anything just to bury Julian Carax's past within the depths of oblivion.
This mystery novel tries to combine what's real and fantasy and Daniel must find out the truth behind the figure of Julián and deal with what this search will entail.
But his interest in the past and in new clues about the identity of the elusive writer may make Daniel risk his own life.
The plot was so gripping that I couldn't put it down from the start.
By the time I got to the middle, following the storyline became more difficult, as more and more characters were introduced. Once I'd read some more, I slowly came to understand how they were all related.
I literally couldn't stop reading by the time I got to the end. It is that unputdownable!

A mi me gustó mucho, pero me da un poco de cosa ver que el autor se desmarca tan poco de aquella obra. Me gustaría que sacara algo totalmente diferente...y que fuera igual de bueno :)
