En la primera parte dedicada a los mejores lugares para hacer nuestras compras en Tallin, os hablé del C.C. Viru Keskus, muy céntrico ya que está pegando al casco antiguo.
Hoy, os hablaré de un pequeño centro (galerías) comercial que también está en el centro, el
Foorum y del centro comercial más grande de Estonia, el Rocca al Mare. En mi post sobre las compras de Tallin que he subido hace poco, podéis ver lo que compré tanto en el Viru Keskus como en el Rocca al Mare.
In the first part of my Tallinn Shopping Guide about the best places to go shopping in Tallinn, I talked about the Viru Keskus shopping centre, a very convenient Mall as it is right next to the Old Town.Today I'll tell you about a much smaller shopping (arcade) centre, Foorum Keskus,
also in the city centre and also about Estonia's largest shopping centre, the Rocca al Mare Mall. In my Tallinn haul post I uploaded earlier, you can see my purchases from both Viru Keskus and Rocca al Mare.
Las galerías comerciales Foorum están a poca distancia del Viru Keskus. Allí encontramos algunas tiendas de ropa como la francesa MORGAN, la danesa
S'NOB y Replay. En cuanto a cosmética, tenemos una tienda de Lush y una tienda de productos de peluquería muy interesante llamada
Thaya, ya que tiene un stand de la americana
Palladio y otro de Spa Rituals, para las que gustamos de pintarnos las uñas. A diferencia de lo que suele ocurrir en España, en Estonia no me ha dado la impresión de que inflan los precios de las marcas extranjeras que traen (Opi, por ejemplo). Finalmente no compré nada, pero es un detalle que me parece digno de mención. La media de precios de Palladio era de unos 6€, los esmaltes de
Spa Ritual eran más caros, pero en EEUU yo diría que es una marca con la que darse un caprichín de vez en cuando (sobre todo cuando estás rodeada de marcas baratísimas).

Lush.eeThe Foorum shopping arcade is really close to Viru Keskus. If you're looking for clothes, you might want to check out the French Morgan, the Danish S'NOB and Replay. As for cosmetics, there's a Lush store and also a beauty supplies store called Thaya,
a place you may also want to go into as it has both a display from the American Palladio and another one of Spa Ritual,
for those who love painting their nails. Unlike what we're used to here in Spain, I didn't get the impression in Estonia that foreign brands being imported into the country being overinflated in the process (as OPI is here, for instance). I didn't get anything in the end, but I thought it was something worth mentioning. The average price in the Palladio counter was about 6 EUR, with Spa Rituals lacquers being more expensive, though I'd say it's a brand one splurges in the US, too (particulary when you're surrounded by lots and lots of dirt cheap brands).
Y finalmente, tendríamos el
Rocca al Mare. A diferencia de los anteriores, está bastante apartado, por lo que lo ideal sería ir hasta allí en coche o en transporte público (en mi caso, el Trolebús nº 7). Está enfrente del Zoo de Tallin, que ya os enseñé en mi última entrada de viajes.
And finally we have the Rocca al Mare.
Unlike the other two, it's quite far and you'd either need a car or use public transport to get there (in my case, Trolleybus no. 7). It's opposite Tallinn's Zoo I mentioned in my previous travel post.
En cuanto a ropa, tenemos de nuevo tiendas como Seppälä y un outlet de Stockmann. La verdad es que no entré en ninguna de ellas, pero sí que hice sendas fotos, como podéis ver. Había otra macrolibrería (con cafetería/cibercafé y todo, de la misma cadena en la que compré uno de los libros que me he traido de este viaje, sólo que yo lo compré en la del Viru Keskus.
Tenemos también otro Accesorize (tienda un poco "carera", aunque con cosas monas), Esprit y otras muchas más. Ya he comentado que yo orientándome soy peor que un "pulpo en un garaje" y para muestra un botón: pensé que había dado la vuelta a todo el centro comercial, cuando para mi sorpresa me topé con otro pasillo de tiendas, entre ellas un Marks & Spencer. ;)
As for clothes, again we have Seppälä and a Stockmann Outlet. The truth is I didn't get in any of them, but I did take a couple of pics, as you can see. There was also a huge bookstore from the same chain I visited at Viru Keskus (and where I bought one of the books I've brought home from this trip). It had an online café too. There was another Accesorize (a pricey store, imo, though with cute stuff), Esprit and a lot more. I've already mentioned that I'm a mess when it comes to finding my bearings, like 'an octopus in a garage' and here's an example of it: I thought I had already taken a complete tour of the place when I turned a corner and there it was: another hall full of stores, with a Marks & Spencer store among them. LOL.
En este centro comercial, encontramos de nuevo alguna de las tiendas que vimos en el Viru Keskus, como la tienda de jabones
Stenders. De precio, no me parecieron excesivamente caros, aproximadamente 4,50€ cada jabón. Me hizo gracia un jabón de leche de cabra que tenía forma como de huevo frito. Si os gustan los jabones y los productos de cuidado corporal, tenemos también otra tienda de The Body Shop.
Había una tienda de productos naturales (un herbolario) con un stand de la marca EcoTools. Y como no, marox lo tuvo que "afotar", aunque fuera desde fuera.
At the Rocca al Mare, we have some of the stores that were also present at Viru Keskus, like the soap store Stenders.
Pricewise, I didn't find them particularly expensive but within what you would expect to pay in this kind of store, about 4.50 EUR per soap. They had this cute goat milk soap that resembled a fried egg, ;) If you're into soaps and body care, there's another The Body Shop store for you. There was this herbalist's and organic products store with an EcoTools display. And of course, marox had to snap a pic of the shop window, even if it was from the outside.
Si en el Viru teníamos la perfumería Kaubamaja Ilumaailm, aquí tenemos dos más pequeñas pero que también merece la pena visitar:

Ideaal Kosmeetika. La primera es más grande y con una mayor variedad de marcas: Too Faced, L'Oreal, Max Factor, Chanel, ArtDeco, pero también otras menos habituales como
The Balm, (con una presentación muy similar a Benefit), Alessandro, Sally Hansen o
Collistar, así como marcas nórdicas como
Lumene y Make up Store. Junto al stand de Alessandro, tenían una especie de "bar de uñas".
If we had the Kaubamaja Ilumaailm perfumery at Viru, at the Rocca al Mare we have two smaller stores worth a visit: I.L.U. and Ideaal Kosmeetika.
The first one is the biggest and offers a wider range of brands: Too Faced, L'Oreal, Max Factor, Chanel or ArtDeco, but also others more hard to find like The Balm (very similar in its packaging to Benefit), Alessandro, Sally Hansen, Make up Store or Collistar,
with also room for some nordic brands like Lumene.
Next to the Alessandro counter there was some sort of 'nails bar'.
Aunque más pequeñita, Ideaal Kosmeetika también tenía alguna cosa interesante aparte de las habituales marcas de droguería. BeYu,
Pupa, Manhattan, Sally Hansen,
Make up Factory, Lumene y
Rouge Bunny Rouge también tienen allí su espacio.
Though smaller, Ideaal Kosmeetika also had some interesting stuff to offer, besides the usual drugstore brands. BeYu, Pupa,

Lumene and Rouge Bunny Rouge were available there.No estaría de más que entrárais al supermercado
Prisma, ya que tiene algunos productos de cosmética y cuidado corporal interesantes. De allí salieron los esmaltes de Wild and Crazy que os enseñé en el post de las
compras de Tallin. También tenían Manhattan y alguna cosilla más.
A visit to the Prisma supermarket could be a good idea too, as they had some interesting stuff in the cosmetics and beauty aisle. I bought the Wild and Crazy lacquers I showed you in the Tallinn haul post and they also had Manhattan, among others.Pero además de comprar potecillos para nosotras hasta en el supermercado, a Molly le compré allí un sobrecito de comidita húmeda de salmón y trucha, que hemos esperado a darle cuando estuviera Marian. El regalito de su tita le ha gustado, jeje. Cuando estuvimos en Berlín le trajimos también comidita para gatos alemana (del DM), que hasta en eso es mejor que la española. La de Estonia es parecida a la de aquí (las albondiguillas son iguales, ya sea de carne o de pescado). La del DM sí que tenía buena pinta, jeje.
But besides getting some make up goodies for us, even from the supermarket, I bought Molly a packet of cat food, the one that comes with gravy. It has salmon and trout and we've waited until Marian came over to give her her present. I think she liked it very much, lol. When we went to Berlin, we also brought her some German cat food (from DM, btw) and it was also better than the one we can get here, in the sense that fish or meat it all looks the same. The German one seemed really good, hehe.
