I'm back with another pedi. Do you remember the orange nailpolish I said I'd probably never wear? Well, never say never, because here it is. In fact, it's a call for the good summer weather one would expect to have these days to come back.

Si en los próximos días no estamos muy activas en la blogosfera, el motivo es sencillo: estamos de viaje unos días, así que a la vuelta volveremos con más entradas de viajes, guía de compras y demás.

If in the course of the following days we're a bit absent from the blogworld the reason's simple: we're away on holiday. You can count with some more travel-related posts, shopping guide and so on.

Cómo optimizar el espacio en el cuarto de baño – How to seize the space in the bathroom.

O quizá sería más apropiado decir: “Cómo aumentar el espacio de almacenaje”; pero eso sí, sin obras, y por no mucho dinero.

Or maybe I should say: 'How to increase your storage space', but without any building work involved and without spending too much money.

Hasta hace pocos días, mi espacio de almacenaje en el baño se reducía a dos carritos (uno por baño); uno con cajones y el otro con baldas.

Pero desde que he empezado a ser potinguera casi compulsiva, las cosas se empezaban a amontonar, y lo tenía todo un tanto desordenado, la verdad (eso que el maquillaje no lo guardo en el baño).

Un día, mis padres vieron en una gran superficie dedicada al bricolaje, AKI, la solución a mi problema.

Un mueble bajolavabo, de los que vienen en kit, más o menos fáciles de montar si sigues a rajatabla las instrucciones del fabricante, por 125€ cada uno. Podéis verlo en la web de la tienda.

Until just a few days ago, the storage space in my bathroom consisted of just two trolleys (one per bathroom); one of them with drawers and the other one with shelves.

But since I've become almost a make-up-holic, things were steadily beginning to pile up, which was really a mess (it's just as well I don't store my make-up in the bathroom).

One day, my parents went to a DIY mall, and then they saw something which could be the solution of my problem. A washstand, of those packed as a kit, more or less easy to assemble if you follow the instructions strictly, which costs €125 each. You can see it on this website.

Están disponibles en 3 colores: blanco, cerezo y wengué. Yo elegí los dos en blanco, que en el caso de los baños, va con todo.

They're available in 3 colours: white, cherry tree and black-brown. I chose the two of them in white, which in the case of a bathroom, goes with every colour.

Después de montados y puestos, para proteger los cajones, compré unas láminas antideslizantes, que podéis encontrar fácilmente en tiendas multiprecio, que venden de todo. Yo las compré en una tienda local que es una mezcla de droguería, juguetería y tienda de artículos de regalo.

Once assembled and in place, I bought some nonslip sheets to protect the drawers. These can be easily found at multiprice stores as they sell a bit of everything. I purchased them at a local store which is a mix between a drugstore, a toy store and a gift store.

¿Qué os parece? Yo creo que es una buena solución de almacenaje para el baño, sobre todo para pisos pequeños, en los que éstos no son muy grandes.

What do you think? I think this is a good storage solution for the bathroom, mainly for small flats, in which these aren't very spacious.

Mis jumbos para ojos Deliplus - My eyeshadow pencils from Deliplus.

Esta entrada no es sobre ningún "haul" reciente, sino más bien acumulado y temático.
Lo que quiero decir es que os voy a presentar aquí mis jumbos para ojos de Deliplus, que como sabéis, sólo se pueden comprar en los supermercados españoles Mercadona.

Hi everyone, This post is not about any recent haul, but an accumulated and thematic haul.
I mean, I'm going to show you my eyeshadow pencils from Deliplus. These are only sold, as you probably know already, at the Spanish supermarkets Mercadona.

Como la mayoría ya sabréis, se trata de sombras en crema, pero en formato lápiz (que me parece algo así como magia) que las hace más cómodas de utilizar.

As most of you surely know, they're creamy eyeshadows in a pencil (this is some kind of magic for me), which are very easy to use.

El primero que compré fue el tono "Bronce" (abajo del todo en la foto). Era parte de una edición limitada de 6 jumbos, de colores variados en acabado metalizado y resistentes al agua. Resistentes al agua de verdad.

The first one I bought was 'Bronce' (bronze) (at the bottom of the pic). It was part of a limited edition of 6 eyeshadow pencils, in different colours with a metallic finish and waterproof. Really waterproof.


Me gustó tanto (creo que no fui la única) que cuando salieron más en siguientes ediciones limitadas, compré los que pude (y los que más me gustaron), que fueron el "Agua", "Ultramar" y "Chocolate", y desde luego, no me decepcionaron en absoluto.

I liked it so much (I think I wasn't the only one there) that when more of them were sold on subsequent limited editions, I bought the ones I could (and the ones I liked the most), which were: 'Agua' (Water), 'Ultramar' (Overseas), and 'Chocolate', and I didn't feel disappointed at all.



Hace pocos meses lanzaron otra colección de jumbos para ojos, y esta vez (si no recuerdo mal) me los cogí todos. Y es que no había un color que no me gustara.

A few months ago a new collection of eyeshadow pencils was on sale, and this time (if I'm not wrong) I purchased all the shades available (I liked them all).
They are: #01 Violeta (Purple), #02 Hielo (Ice), #03 Verde menta (Mint green) and #04 Champagne.



Como conclusión, estos jumbos son los únicos productos que como base de sombras, al cabo de las horas, no me hacen pliegues. Ni prebase de ArtDeco ni nada de nada.

To sum up, these eyeshadow pencils are the only products that, as base eyeshadows, don't crease on me. You can forget about eyeshadow bases like ArtDeco with these.

Essence - Colour&Go #33 'Just in case'

Hoy vengo con una entrada rapidita y "de archivo", para presentaros otro de nuestros esmaltes de Essence. En este caso, pertenece a la gama Colour & Go, que dentro de poco será la única gama de esmaltes que ofrezca Essence. Este esmalte forma parte de la colección actual de Essence, así que si os gusta, podéis haceros con él en cualquier momento.




I have another short & sweet entry for you ladies, from the vault and namely to introduce another of our Essence polishes. This one belongs to the Colour & Go range, soon to be the only nail polish range Essence will offer. This is part of the current display, so if you like it, there's no need to hurry up to get it.

En esta ocasión, lo usé para las uñas de los pies. Supongo que en alguien más moreno lucirá más, pero bueno, es lo que hay, jeje. Perdonad mis "heridas de guerra", cortesía de la actuación de flamenco -no es que los zapatos sean incómodos, es que los llevé demasiadas horas-.

I used this one on my toes this time around. I suppose it will look prettier on more tanned feet, but you'll have to settle for my Snow-white feet, lol. Please overlook my 'war injuries', courtesy of my flamenco dance shoes. Not that they are uncomfortable, I wore them for too long more like.

En las fotos, llevo una capa de base de Basic, seguida de otra de este esmalte. Con una capa lo suficientemente gruesa basta para cubrir nuestras uñas. No apliqué top coat de ningún tipo.

In the pics, I'm wearing one coat of base from Basic, followed by another one of this polish. A thick coat is enough for a decent coverage. I applied no topcoat.

Y rebuscando en el disco duro, he encontrado esta otra foto. Así podéis también haceros una idea de cómo queda en las manos.

Os traigo una nueva entrega de mi colección de esmaltes, ordenados por colores. Hoy es el turno de los colores topo, de manicura francesa y nude. Algunos ya son bastante viejillos y probablemente acaben en el cubo de la basura no tardando.

Hace tiempo que no subo ninguna entrada sobre mis “uñas de la semana”. La verdad es que mis uñas han estado “descansando”.

It's been quite a long time since my last 'nails of the week' post. The truth is that they've been 'having a break'.

Me apetecía estrenar uno de los esmaltes que me regaló mi hermana, y que compró cuando estuvo en Tallinn. Además, Salander me había pedido fotos de cómo quedaba. Así que aquí están (bueno, está, porque sólo hice una).

I was willing to use for the first time one of the polishes my sister gave me, which was bought when she was in Tallinn. Besides, Salander had asked me for some pics to see how it looks. So here they come (well, actually here it comes, because I took only one).

Lo primero que hice fue aplicar una capa de base de Basic, que por cierto, estaba ya muy seca. Ya decía yo que me resultaba difícil de aplicar. Así que quizá sea el momento de estrenar, para la próxima vez, la de P2 que compré en Berlín.

What I did first was to apply one coat of Basic base coat, which, by the way, was very dry. That's the reason why I used to say that it seemed too hard to apply. So maybe it's time to use, next time, the one from P2, which I bought in Berlin.

Después, apliqué dos finas capas de este esmalte. No queda totalmente opaco, pero tampoco transparente. La aplicación es muy buena, eso sí.

Y por último, y como siempre, apliqué una capa de Seche Vite, para mí, el invento del siglo (en lo que a uñas se refiere, por supuesto).

After that, I applied two thin coats of this polish. It is not fully opaque, but it's not sheer either. The application is very good.

And I ended up, as usual, applying one coat of Seche Vite, which is, in my opinion, the discovery of the century (concerning nails, of course).

¿Y qué decir sobre el color? Pues lo definiría como un color lila oscuro, con reflejos dorados, de acabado metalizado. Pero si tenéis alguna otra definición para este color, adelante.

And what to say about its colour? I'd define it as a dark lilac shade, with golden reflections, and a metallic finish. But if you have another definition for this shade, please go ahead.
